Re: Guys who were better in WCW than WWF

Booker T was about the only guy to come over from WCW and be an even bigger success in WWE. Wait, I lie. Put Rey Mysterio there too.

Won the WCW World Championship from Vader, making him the first black world heavyweight champion.

Vader, The Steiners, DDP, Nash, Flair, Malenko, Saturn, Luger, Goldberg, Raven.

Rey Jr, Benoit, Guerrero and Regal i'm on the fence about. They all had better matches in WCW imo but they got pushed harder in the WWF/E.

Lita was more over than half the roster during most of her career, but you didn't see her pinning guys all the time. And Jarrett got shamed by Vince at the end because he was leaving, not because Chyna deserved to beat a guy.

Thanks. Really makes him seem wasted in WWF.

Because he was a 3-time World Champion in WCW.

You're welcome. That gladiator gimmick that he was saddled with when he debuted was atrocious. The fact that he was able to overcome that and get pretty over as part of the Nation and APA is a minor miracle.

the international world title is now considered a real world title?

rudes best work by far came in wwf when the business was redhot. when he was in wcw the company were averaging 800 fans to shows.

I should actually clarify that Simmons was the first black world heavyweight champion in either of the 2 major national promotions of NWA/WCW and WWF. USWA, for example, had several black world heavyweight champions. Charles Wright (aka Papa Shango/Kama/The Godfather), Kamala, and Koko B. Ware all held the USWA World Heavyweight Championship before Simmons won the WCW world title.
