Default Ultimate Warrior as a heel.

I've always wondered how he would have been as a heel. It's so hard to see the dominant force that was The Ultimate Warrior become a cowardly heel. Interested in peoples thoughts.

Don't know how it would have worked, but we have documented fact that it was in the plans and he would've main evented a ton of PPVs. In some way's it's better that things didn't work out. The character is a face character and that run would've damaged it. We've all seen recently how serious Warrior took his brand.

It would have been interesting to see how much he changed his character if that happened. He was so energetic and incoherent in an entertaining way as a face cutting crazy promos. He also ran to ring. I don't know how he would have done cutting heel promos. I've seen him cut the equivalent of heel promos on other guys in the business enough over the years on youtube etc. that would lead me to believe it was something he could do. It's just so different from the Warrior we knew and loved on TV that it is hard to imagine. I suppose I could somewhat imagine him being a darker warrior character, walking to the ring instead of running and cutting slower more coherent heel promos.

I can sort of see it. More menacing music, darker colours and lighting, no running to the ring and more sinister promos, along the lines of the famous plane into a nose dive one. I really don't think it would have been as good though

I don't think it would've worked. Warrior was a 1980s larger than life rockstar superhero.

I think he could've pulled it off if he wanted to, but that was definitely an issue in and of itself. Also, I don't think those were the times of "turns" quite like they are today. A turn from a good guy to a bad guy was serious business back then and didn't happen on a dime quite like it does today where going from good to bad guy is as easy as changing underwear (which is actually the only reason why I respect Cena for not turning because when he does, it'll be huge no matter when it is)

He probably would not have been as successful as a heel as he was as a face though for sure. His face run at the time was absolutely perfect in terms of timing and era it was in and changing anything about the Warrior almost seems sacrilegious to me. Kinda.

MANTI TEO is not that liked

Honestly it probably would have been some lame angle where Papa Shango put a curse on Warrior and took over his mind and made him act like a heel. I could see Papa Shango and Ted Dibiase in the back playing with a warrior stuffed doll and pretending a voodoo curse was placed on the ball.

After every match Warrior would drop to his knees in exhaustion confused that he was even out there or why his friend was beaten on the ground.

Is funny but if Warrior had signed with WCW in the early 90s this could easily be booked.
