my Pro Wrestling artwork

Most of my artwork focuses on MMA fighters, but I was also a huge 'rasslin fan as a kid so I thought it would be fun to share some of the art I've done of wrestlers here. Most of these are sketch cards, which are standard trading card sized drawings.

Hulk Hogan sketch card, copic markers:

Re: my Pro Wrestling artwork

Those are really nice! Being absolutely without any artistic talent, I always admired people who could paint or draw.

I drew one of my favorite wrestler, Buddy Rogers, but I don't think it really captures his flair and style very well. - Mike

Re: my Pro Wrestling artwork

I came in expecting some below average art but this is really good. I especially like the Hogan ones.

Re: my Pro Wrestling artwork

Those are really good. The bleeding Hogan one makes me wonder what you could do with the Stone Cold crimson mask face in the WM 13 match vs Bret Hart.

Re: my Pro Wrestling artwork

I could do it and I think it would look pretty cool...that said, sometimes less is more. That is to say, I think a b&w drawing with a trickle of red blood can be more effective/dramatic than the crimson mask. If you look at some of my 2012 Topps UFC Bloodlines sketch cards or my drawing of the Hanson brothers, some of those are good examples of what I'm talking about.
