Shocked you remember Spike and Basher. Bonus for you guys...anyone remember their manager in their first few years?

Wasn't it J.D. Costello?

I hope I win this game - I've got some great names for the next round.

This is fun. Don't know why I ignored this thread for so long.

1. Tim Horner

Brad Armstrong's longtime partner. Friend of Arn Anderson. Undersized wrestler who bounced around the territories and was one of the original founders of SMW.

2. Rockin Robin

Think she was in WWF around the same time as Wendi Richter. Jake's sister? Might have been WWF woman's champion...or not. And I'm pretty sure she appeared on an early WWF PPV.

3. John Tatum

Hell yeah! Jack Victory's partner. 42nd degree blackbelt. Stalled enough to make Larry Zbyszko jealous. All around swell guy.

4. The Equalizer

Ugh! Dave Sullivan: Pukeamaniac. Brought into WCW in 1993 as a heel. Sucked.

5. "Mean" Mike Miller

Umm...AWA wrestler? That's my best guess.

6. Awesome Kong (male)

I was on a 1993 WCW kick a few weeks ago. One-half of the Colossal Kongs tag team. Morbidly obese man who wore a rug as part of his attire.

7. The Rock N Roll RPM's

Never saw them, but I always assumed they were cheap Rock 'N Roll Express ripoffs, and I think they wrestled Cactus Jack on the AWA/WCCW/USWA pay per view.

8. Bobby Blaze

Come on, man! You're not even trying! SMW champion. Used the northern lights suplex as a finisher. Wrestled as a jobber in WCW after SMW closed shop.

9. Steve O

I inadvertently read somebody else's "AWA jobber" answer. That's probably right, but I doubt I would have guessed that. So no point here.

10. The M.O.D. Squad

I've seen the name. That's it.

11. The Great Yatsu

I read about a Yoshiaki(?) Yatsu. It might be this guy. If so, he was an AJPW tag team champion.

12. The Mighty Kwang

Is this Savio Vega as a ninja in 94-95 WWF? I only ask because I don't remember that Kwang being called "The Mighty," so maybe it's a different person?

Yoshiaki Yatsu also had a very successful run in the WWF in early 1981.

Going to give the win to Kid slightly over Brusier because he was closer on descriptions and knew the bonus. But in the All Time standings they each get a point. You guys did really well this round, maybe I made it too easy.

Kid you can do a list next, even though I thought I would keep doing them and not count myself in the standings.

The only one no one got right was "Mean" Mike Miller.

He was a territory worker in the 80's and early 90's. Received biggest push in Pacific Northwest winning their heavyweight title, and also had a lengthy run in CWA/USWA.

He was a big man probably 6'2 240 or so, just a guess, looked like a biker and had a valet in Memphis.

A couple of other notes:
-No one mentioned Yatsu's run in World Class as Hussen's last charge before Skandor ran the other heel stable out of Texas.
-Steve O had some nice runs in the territories always being a Brad Armstrong type who you thought would take off as a headliner but never did.

Kid you are on the clock.

OK, thanks -- I'll just do it this once and then you guys can take over again. It might take me a little time to think of all the names, so please be patient.

OK guys, since I'm only able to do this once, I've decided to do 25 names instead of 12. That way it will be much easier to determine a clear winner. Please be as detailed as possible in your answers. Good luck!

Mystery Man (aka Furface/The Mariner)

Brutus Beefcake as a masked guy who beat up heels. Didn't see/don't remember but I've read about it.

Battle Kat

Brady Boone under a mask in WWF. Another gimmick I don't remember/didn't see but remember reading about.

Zan Panzer

Yes! WCW jobber. Master of the Pan Flute!

Yoshi Kwan

Chris Champion of New Breed fame as a ninja. Feuded with Cactus Jack. May have carried around a bag of "Cactus Jack's marbles"

The Minotaur

Had a brief cup of coffee in WCW. I remember watching a match of his (perhaps his only one). He no sold a missile dropkick and I thought he was super badass. I had him down as Sting's next big rival. He may have even been my favorite wrestler for about three days. I do a google video search every few months in the hopes of finding that match again.

Friar Ferguson

Bastion Booger as a dancing(?) friar. Another gimmick I've never actually seen, but have read about.

The Carolina Connection
Laurent Soucie

No idea.

J.W. Storm

Think he had a brief WCW run? Feuded with Van Hammer, maybe?

Jonny Stewart

Amazing list! Wrestler in the dying days of AWA. Did a "90s guy" gimmick. Was basically a young punk. Watched a match of his on Youtube a few months ago. He reminded me of Chris Candido.

Suni War Cloud

Midget wrestler?

Allen Iron Eagle

Had a brief WCW run. Became Joe Gomez. Yet another character I never saw, but did read about.

The New Breed

Sean Royal & Chris Champion. Tag team from "the future" (2002). Possibly the coolest wrestlers around in 1987. Pure awesomeness.

Lazer-Tron

Hector Guerrero in a wacky outfit. Don't recall ever seeing this character in action.

Black Blood

Billy Jack Haynes in WCW. I think he wore a mask. Yet another one I never actually saw wrestle.

Phantasio

Wrestled as Spellbinder in Memphis. Brian Christopher's real life bff. Did a magician gimmick in WWF. I think this is the 7th character on the list I read about but never saw in action.

Kortsia Korchenko

Evil Russian in Mid South or UWF. Aligned with Eddie Gilbert. Think he feuded with Bill Watts.

Tom McGee

Strongman wrestler who Vince allegedly had down as the next Hogan after Bret carried him in his tryout match. Yet another one I never saw in action.

Wendell Cooley

Tag team champion with Al Perez in UWF. Think he did a cowboy gimmick and was rather bland.

Mighty Joe Thunder

No idea.

Duke of Dorchester

Pete Doherty: WWF jobber in the 80s.

Swede Hanson

Ye olde school Crockett wrestler. Think he was on the WCW ring crew late in life.

Tiger Chung Lee

80s WWF jobber.

Salvatore Bellomo

80s WWF jobber. I remember him most for randomly showing up in the glory days of ECW looking like a viking. Think he was in FBI for a minute.

The Snowman

Controversial black wrestler in Memphis who won the USWA title from Lawler. Never saw him in action.
