lennon over mccartney all day. better voice, less poppy, better melodies, more diverse, he's got him beat. mccartney was great too in his day, but lennon was a god. i was listening to mccartney on snl one night and it was sad. voice is totally gone, he must know it... i bet a lot of people listening don't know the difference though. lennon went through a lot of shit in his childhood which led to deeper stuff, mccartney had the perfect upbringing.
