I seemed to do much more Australian history than anything else, which pretty much sucked.
I did a years worth of Ancient Greece, but I can hardly remember anything from that year :/ Did some russian history last year, basically from the fall of the tsar up until the end of world war 1 basically. Would've done up to the fall of the USSR if I hadn't got sick, which really pissed me off. I was really looking forward to learning about Stalin. My favourite period of history was always the French Revolution though. Although, Australia in the 60's/70's wasn't too bad either. Vietnam, Our beliefs being adapted, White Australia Policy being lifted and the Constitutional Crisis. Lots of shenanigans there.....
EDIT: Hannah, Great Britain still 'owns' us in theory, as all our laws have to be approved by the Queen (although in reality they're done by her representative in Aus, the Governor General. We still have the union jack on our flag, use the term 'Royal' in our military etc but it's really only a decorative thing. Our court systems are now completely seperated. The High Court of Australia is the highest judicial power that we answer to (as opposed to most of the 20th century where it was your Privy Council/ House of Lords. Obviously, we've evolved more under our own fruition than when we had your ancestors as permanent leaders
Just look at our sporting teams
