But yeh, if we dont get our predicted grades (even if we pass), the school sees it as 'failing'.

So, if you once lived in a good area then move into a bad area are your grades predicted lower? I don't see why they judge people by where they live and how good they were in elementary school, thats what it is in Canada where I live, not sure about the States, they should judge you on how hard you try and how good you are on the actual subject. I know people who are don't give a fuck about homework and doing work in class, but once the tests come they usually get the top marks in the class. So, really it depends on how hard your willing to try, if you don't give a shit about school, you probably won't do too good in it either.
