They're the owners.

Re: Vertical Scope and their tech team
You gotta wonder if the VS techs stop by to see what everyone thinks of them.

Not 100% sure they actually know how to read a thread.

If you admins, are unhappy with the way things are running, you guys ever thought of leaving the place and starting a new forum, where you have FULL Control and no silly corporate forces involved? Im sure with enough support and motivation this can be done. You'd most likely have a dedicated nember base that will be ready to move from here to a new forum. It also creates the chance for new people to join without payments involved.
Shit, I fell in the trapt of paying a lifetime membership, even though the money was little, I just cant believe I payed to have a big avatar and a sig when Im not really using both. As you stated, the VIP section is dead, and Im sure many people feel that their money has been wasted, when the money could of been to good use in terms of support for the website eg. better more efficient server?
What do you guys think about the outlook on this site? The future? well...end of the day its just a forum. (.....a very good one that it is)

Lol. I tried that before with a different one. How it has fallen since.

Re: Vertical Scope and their tech team
Could someone find a statement to how much they must get a year? They must surely be able to afford servers, however much it costs I will pay 5% towards for the year if I really have to, you don't know how many times I have formatted my BTB shows only for the server to screw up...

Re: Vertical Scope and their tech team
I mean, I'd happily pay VS for Premium if they could sort out their servers, I would also be happy to pay a small percentage towards the servers, nothing a couple of weeks hard graft can't sort out.

Re: Vertical Scope and their tech team
I've been looking on the other forums (where like 4 people post a day) and either no-one has had the balls to speak up like David or they are plain stupid because they don't exactly have the best servers or support from what it seems.

David, Rajah or Platt. Can you tell us how many users are in the premium members group or aren't you allowed to say...
Edit: VS are getting anything from $2000 - $4000 a month.

I can check, but I'm not going to. We have the right to voice our annoyance with the site owners but I'm not going to get figures. As the saying goes, don't rock the boat, especially when you're in it.
I'll be honest and say I have no idea what is involved in running a site this size. The thing that annoys me is that VS try to pass themselves off as professionals yet I don't see anything here that shows that.
Maybe with the issues raised and displeasure displayed by many users and staff some people will understand that even as Admins, we can't fix the site. We don't have access to that. We have to leave a message and hope that someone gets back to us. They never do.
