As I looked at this thread, I was dumbfounded. Did people seriously think someone like me would leave over a trivial cause? Surely you guys had to know why I left, me posting it and all. I know how to run a forum, both aspects, -- management and software -- but when it's removed, my forum was changed in ways I completely disagree with, and I was being lied to... what do you expect me to do? I was being lied to. You are all being lied to. I got out because I knew what was coming -- I'm sorry that it took some of you over 2 years to see this.
I've enjoyed my time away from this forum, and I hate how search is disabled (still), how the forum loads after 20 seconds or longer, how they sold or misuse their members' e-mail addresses for stupid mailing sites (YOU THINK I DON'T KNOW?)... GREAT SITE.

Anyone notice the decline in activity since they've taken over? More guests, sure, but less registrating, forum posts, and the quality has gone downhill. OH WELL
If anything, I hope people enjoyed the time they spent on the forums when I ran things for those... umm... close to 5 years? I don't even remember now.
Explain plz. Pretty sure that would break their own Terms and Conditions and probably an international privacy law I am not aware of.
I doubt it's in their "ToC" that they will not give out your e-mail address. It could be there, but it would be there because it's a standard vB message, not because they inserted it. They are using the rules I wrote, the rules I told them to remove, and yet they had the indecency to basically tell me no.
They care nothing for laws until they are contacted by for legal investigation, lawl.
The stuff they send is related to wrestling, though, but I don't give a damn.
EDIT: I just saw the "Privacy" link on the bottom of the page. Maybe you should go read it before judging so hastly.

Not only did they keep your rules they haven't even updated them properly. I think it's about a year and 3 forum managers ago since I first pointed this out.
Advertisements are on Wrestling Forums for one reason: to bring in money to cover costs for the server, hosting, forum software, and domain. With the revenue collected through these advertisements, Amish Patel (network owner) does not have to reach into his own pockets and risk the chance of having to shut the network down.
Months and months after I quit, they hadn't changed the e-mail and people kept asking me to solve their issues. Rather annoying. Actually, someone e-mail me the other day... but where he got my e-mail I don't know. Something must still be linking to my e-mail somehow...
I know this is pretty rude of me emailing you out of the blue, but I'm doing it anyway (you put your email address on wrestlingforums.com, so I nicked it.) So sorry about that, but I do have a good reason.
Ok, not a good reason. But I have A reason.
I have written the following two articles, that I think any non-mark pro-wrestling fan will enjoy.
If you enjoy it, please spread it around! This may be my ticket to fame and fortune. If you don't, feel free to write back calling me whatever rude words you like.
