If they have only one server then it would really suck. Xbox live has few servers and you don't always get the best service on there.

As long as people keep joining and paying then nothing will get done. I for one wouldn't give this site a cent. It's not worth it. Paying to have a sig? I know I have one but I have had sigs and avatars turned off for about 2 months now. Having a sig is the only real benefit. The VIP section is dead apart from a couple of gif related sticky threads. And the only people posting are the ones who want their names changed. If it wasn't for the fact David, Platt and myself would have to do it manually all the time I wouldn't care less if normal members wanted a name change.

Nitemare is the smartest member we've ever had. He didn't want to be under VS's control and left. Something we all should have done about 18 months ago.

As I looked at this thread, I was dumbfounded. Did people seriously think someone like me would leave over a trivial cause? Surely you guys had to know why I left, me posting it and all. I know how to run a forum, both aspects, -- management and software -- but when it's removed, my forum was changed in ways I completely disagree with, and I was being lied to... what do you expect me to do? I was being lied to. You are all being lied to. I got out because I knew what was coming -- I'm sorry that it took some of you over 2 years to see this.

I've enjoyed my time away from this forum, and I hate how search is disabled (still), how the forum loads after 20 seconds or longer, how they sold or misuse their members' e-mail addresses for stupid mailing sites (YOU THINK I DON'T KNOW?)... GREAT SITE.

Anyone notice the decline in activity since they've taken over? More guests, sure, but less registrating, forum posts, and the quality has gone downhill. OH WELL

If anything, I hope people enjoyed the time they spent on the forums when I ran things for those... umm... close to 5 years? I don't even remember now.
