So, you can only be someone's friend if you meet them first? I mean, you're usually friends with someone who have similar interests as you, and people you bond with...that can ONLY be done in person? There's a few people I talk to on here that I consider a friend, so are you saying I'm crazy and deluded too? Granted, if I stopped talking to one of them out of the blue, I wouldn't really be upset or mad or anything...but the same could be said for a good portion of my 'real life' friends as well.

I actually consider a select few of people on here my friends. Of course I realize the difference between internet friends and real friends. But I see no harm in calling someone your friend after you have known them for quite some time on these forums and do speak with them occasionally.
