I still don't understand why he's my mistake. The only thing I can think of is you some how think I supermodded him...Did I? I sure as hell don't remember doing that. I rarely make staff members, so I'm sure I'd remember that.
Other than that, how else is he my mistake?

I'd maybe take you up on that, but I hardly see you post much lately(outside of graphics anyway). So ya.
Plus you asked to be mod, so you can't, rit.

Re: Fuck you mods

Could we also go back to the old system of having mods dumping threads 24 hours or so after closing them? The way it is really does look messy and detracts from the sense of professionalism that I like to think WE promotes.

Re: Fuck you mods

Go ahead. I don't care. I just don't move them myself because I'm lazy. Let the mods do it, right?

(what professionalism? 99% of our members can't even spell the word.)

Re: Fuck you mods

Hmm, that's very true, I suppose. Perhaps we should have a literacy test for new members?

Re: Fuck you mods

THe problem with W-E is, only people in the little 2,000+ post kliq are accepted. N00bs with only 100 posts are posting the same stuff we do, but somehow it's not alright when they do it.

Re: Fuck you mods

Yes, but everything has a context. Something might be relevant to something someone else has said (like Nitemare's Breasts/Penis thread, which some people seem unaware was a pastiche of something someone else had said). Also, people who have been here longer are known better, people know their posting style, whether they're serious or joking, things like that.

Acceptance to be able to join in with such things can only come with time and some amount of dedication (although that's not quite the right word, perhaps "persistance" would be more appropriate). For example, when I first came here it was weeks before I started posting outside the wrestling forums, for the simple reason that it was clear everyone knew each other and I didn't want to leap in announcing myself as some kind of hero like so many people seem to do now. People should be easing themselves in, drawing attention from the quality of their posts, not by the volume, timing or any "attention-grabbing" content.

I agree wholly that longer-term members should be setting some kind of example and Staff, certainly, shouldn't be spamming. However, it's unfair to say that people with 100 posts deserve equal treatment because, in a lot of cases, they don't.

Re: Fuck you mods

To be honest long term members don't spam and it is mainly the new guys. Maybe LK and Bibby but meh they just do it to annoy people

The trouble is, W-E has grown almost ten-fold since then. I remember when i first joined, i'd reckognize almost every poster in a thread. Now things are so much more diluted that it must be impossible for a new member to make any sort of mark. I found it a lot easier to settle in to the forum (since it was my first <3) when it was small enough to actually make an impression without resorting to sexual blitzing of the Anything forum. I guess that's just one of the negatives from having a larger board.
