Yes, but everything has a context. Something might be relevant to something someone else has said (like Nitemare's Breasts/Penis thread, which some people seem unaware was a pastiche of something someone else had said). Also, people who have been here longer are known better, people know their posting style, whether they're serious or joking, things like that.
Acceptance to be able to join in with such things can only come with time and some amount of dedication (although that's not quite the right word, perhaps "persistance" would be more appropriate). For example, when I first came here it was weeks before I started posting outside the wrestling forums, for the simple reason that it was clear everyone knew each other and I didn't want to leap in announcing myself as some kind of hero like so many people seem to do now. People should be easing themselves in, drawing attention from the quality of their posts, not by the volume, timing or any "attention-grabbing" content.
I agree wholly that longer-term members should be setting some kind of example and Staff, certainly, shouldn't be spamming. However, it's unfair to say that people with 100 posts deserve equal treatment because, in a lot of cases, they don't.
