Re: hay wtf h8 u nightmare
[cc], you'll likely ask "Why was my signature removed?" Well, if you read the rules (keep checking on the forum at the top of the index; it'll say if the rules are updated in the description), you'll know that you can't advertise nudity or adult content in a banner. Babes / Adult won't fly.
Anyway, sadly, Cody, that's not it for Internet fans. You don't post in the wrestling sections, but if you did, you'd know the current target right now is John Cena -- the biggest face in the company, the most successful in a long time, and WWE's top merchandise seller. It seems that Internet fans usually bag on people who are successful. Funny thing is people rag on John Cena's in-ring skills (which aren't bad at all). Same with Triple H. When Randy turned face, he was destroyed online...but there was reason behind that; just pointing out that it's not face or heel.
But yeah, people mindlessly follow what others say. Since many know he's married to Stephanie, people automatically assume that's the cause for him being champion. Some believe it's the cause that he has long reigns and regains the title so much. Perhaps the long reigns may have something to do with it, I don't know or care. I'm not going to go around saying Triple H doesn't abuse his marriage, just like those who say he do shouldn't. We're not there. We can't say what's going on and what isn't.
What we can say, however, is what's on television, and the past few years, Triple H has gotten somewhat kind in losing and the way he wins. Sure, being a heel means cheap wins, but how many times did Evolution help him?
That's a huge aspect people don't bring up. Evolution. He was the leader of a dominant stable. He cheated victory for the title many times. It's only fitting that the leader be a champion, and with Ric Flair at his side claiming he's the best wrestler, it's only natural that he'd be champion often. Now that Evolution has broken up, Orton has taken the World title (er...that lead to his demise, but yeah) and Batista has taken the title from Triple H...losing to him two times consecutively. Without Evolution, perhaps this is what will become of Triple H: a champion no more. It's a storyline WWE could consider...Triple H struggling with not being able to be champion, having consecutive losses to opponents, and going on a losing streak...enough to piss him off to leave the WWE for a while.
I really don't know. All I really know is people shouldn't diss the man. He's put several wrestlers over recently. Look at Orton, Batista, Shelton Benjamin, Benoit (Yeah, he's great and all, but greatness doesn't always mean the attention of the crowd...and to tap out to Benoit a few times? Ya...)...others he wrestled were established (Goldberg, HBK, etc.), but I could be missing some.

I had never noticed the rules had been revised. Sorry for that. Once you removed my sig I checked the rules and saw the new regulations.

Ya, I haven't been in the WWE section in a while. The topics go on for pages, and by the time I read all the replies, I'm too bored or turned off by the n00bs to comment. My post was decent though, am I right? <3 HHH rit! ADD REP

See, you're all capable of intelligent wrestling discussion. Hot foot it over to the wrestling forums instead of doing it here.

The saddest thing about opinions, is that even idiots can have one...
So the DX clique (ya Kliq, had to throw that in for the UK connection) wasn't a sucess, or do you believe Joanie Laurer (sp?) is also Vinces' daughter?

Re: hay wtf h8 u nightmare
*Sigh* Triple H was on booking staff before he dated Steph, he was also world champ before he married Steph. Vince protested their relationship because he didn't want nerds coming out with this shit.
His matches in 1999, 2000 and 2001 were phenomenal. I don't find it hard to see why people say Triple H sucks after he had such a golden era. He is very good, just not as good as he used to be. With Foley, Austin and Rock all leaving one established main eventer on raw; What do you expect? Would they put all their money behind an unproven talent? Or go with the established performer that's shown they can carry the show?
Oh. It can't be that, it's because he's ****ing steph :-\

Re: hay wtf h8 u nightmare
I liked HHH in DX, I liked him also around 2002. But now, I hate him. There is no one else in the WWE who can, after losing the belt, have rematch after rematch until eventually winning it back. Usually, when a champion loses the belt, he gets one rematch, then gets relegated to Tag Team divisions etc., but HHH never leaves main event status, now yes, HHH has been around a long time, and yes he is a good heel, and yes he is an above average wrestler, but there are a number of wrestlers who deserve to be main eventing every single god damn PPV much more than Trips.
I mean, he had his rematch at Backlash, he lost. He was in the Gold Rush toruney, he lost. I think he should let the title go. Fued with Steven Richards for a while, become IC champ, whatever. But you can guarantee every RAW PPV this year will have HHH in the Main Event. Now some people, with not alot of brain cells may enjoy this repetetive garbage, but I find it boring. I feel the only reason he agrees to lose the belt in the first place is so his stats can increase and so he can overtake Flair with the 16 time thing. It also means alot of talent on RAW is being stopped from getting pushed.. If every PPV it's HHH vs. The Champ, where is the real talent? No where, that's where.
So yeah.

I don't know how you, or anyone else, can say that when:
1. Christian versus Flair was nothing special. Quick match. Christian lost, once again taking away from his 'roll.'
2. Chris Benoit versus Tajiri ended really quickly, with nothing special happening.
3. Lingerie pillow fight.
4. Viscera wasted a good 15 minutes. "BORING BORING BORING" chants began.
Overall, RAW was week this weak (oshat...). It had a good match (Jericho and Shelton versus Hassan and Davari) and a 'decent' match (Edge versus Kane). I guess the tag team championship match wasn't THAT bad.
There wasn't much at all to look up to on RAW. Anyone who says it was great because Triple H wasn't there needs to stop being so biased.
