***CELEBRITIES FORUM RULES & FAQ*** (REVISED 04-22-09)
SECTION I: RULES ON POSTING PICTURES
The WOW forums are for posting magazine pictures, celebrity photo shoots, wrestling diva shoots, wrestling matches, and sensible discussion. Nudity is prohibited.
Nudity is defined as:
1. Wet t-shirts or see-thru clothing that clearly reveals a bare breast, the butt, etc.
2. Nip slips (bare nipple).
3. Bare butt (she must be wearing some type of undergarment otherwise it’s considered bare).
4. Ass crack (panties or pants pulled down halfway).
5. Sexual intercourse (nude hardcore pictures of male on female, male on male, or female on female).
6. Pictures of people kissing (mouth to mouth).
7. Any material from Playboy* (pictures, magazine covers, etc.).
Other material prohibited:
1. Fake/altered pictures.
2. Drawings and sketches.
3. Links to websites which contain or advertise nudity.
4. Pictures with words inscribed across the middle of the picture.
5. Pictures of underage females (must be 18 years of age and older).
6. Hosting pictures from Usercash is not allowed.
*Representatives from Playboy have probed this website in the past. They threatened to sue the former owner unless we stop posting their pictures. To avoid any potential legal problems Playboy material is not allowed.
SECTION II: HOW TO POST PICTURES
A. Hotlinking Pictures
1. Get the URL (it starts with http://) of the picture you would like to post. You can do this by right-clicking the picture and going to "Properties."
4. Repeat the above with all the pictures you wish to post. If the pictures are in sequence (01.jpg, 02.jpg, 03.jpg etc.) copy/paste the tag and simply change the last number in the sequence.
5. Always preview your pictures. If they generate with no problems click the “submit new thread” button.
B. Posting Pictures Using An Upload Website (Imageshack, Photobucket, etc.)
1. Upload the pictures you want to post.
2. Locate and click the “Get URL codes” option. This will generate the URL’s needed for posting your pictures.
3. Copy/paste the codes (in thumbnail format or full size image format) into your new thread.
4. Always preview your pictures. If they generate with no problems click the “submit new thread” button.
Notes:
1. Not all websites allow hotlinking. Pictures do not always stay up because webmasters have to pay for hosting. If they discover someone is hotlinking pictures they may change the URL or delete the pictures. As a result a red x will appear in place of your pictures.
2. Pic tags (i.e [pic]http://img125.imageshack.us/img125/2540/vssportsyr4.gif[/pic]) no longer work on this website.
3. Do not use any upload websites that advertise nudity.
SECTION III: REPLYING TO THREADS
Ideally we would like to keep threads in order by post date. This is impossible since we have an inordinate amount of members posting new threads as well as commenting on threads. Nonetheless, to bring some organization and consistency to the forum do not reply to threads on the first page then work your way back. This buries new or recently posted threads especially if you reply to three or more pages. Skim through the forum and find which threads you may have missed. Begin commenting at this point then work your way to the front page. Furthermore, do not reply to threads over three months old. They are considered dead or old. Check the original post date before replying to all threads. Lastly, if you come across a post with all red x responding to it will not bring the pictures back. Leave it and move on.
SECTION IV: LIMITS FOR POSTING NEW THREADS
Several measures have been taken to help ease server stress. One of them is reducing the amount of viewable threads on a single page. If you post pictures on a regular basis (5 or more threads per day) you should be aware of the posting guidelines.
1. Create no more than 10 threads per day.
2. You may go over the 10 thread limit (17 maximum on any given day) as long as you skip the following day. You may resume posting two days later. For instance, if you create 11 threads on Tuesday you are not permitted to post again until Thursday.
These guidelines have been established to prevent posters from flooding the forum (nonstop posting). Moreover, it gives members who post occasionally a chance to have their threads viewed. For the most part their posts are buried by posters who create 10 or more threads per day.
Note: All threads which exceed these limits will be dumped without notice.
SECTION V: MISCELLANEOUS
Rating of posts
Replying to pictures in the WOW forums with "10/10" or "nice post" is allowed. This is spam; however your response must be on the topic of the picture or discussion within the thread.
Discussion
Discussion is tolerated in both WOW forums if the thread starter creates a topic with enough rational content for feedback and comments. A topic about a woman’s physical attributes or appearance is uninteresting talk. It’s been done to death and your thread will be closed. Besides, a majority of the responses are spam which can be expressed in any picture post. Also, a thread asking a simple question does not leave much room for discussion. So try to put some thought and effort into the topic you would like to discuss.
Moderators’ rights
WOW moderators supervise the forums as well as help posters. If a moderator closes your thread chances are it has been posted before or the images did not hotlink (pictures appearing as red x). Just because you see the images this does not mean other members will; you probably have it in your cache. If your thread has been edited because an image violated a rule do not repost it. Be aware that if a post has too many pictures that violate the rules, where it would not be worth editing the moderator will dump your thread.
This thread will remain open for questions and general help with posting pictures. Thank you.
