- In major news the TNA buy rate massively tanked last night managing just over 12,000 buys for a main event featuring AJ Styles Vs Kurt Angle. TNA Bound For Glory managed just over half earning 25,000 buys. 12,000 buys is around what TNA was getting pre Bischoff.

- In another major story Eric Young tweeted "They won't release me so #sittingoutmydeal" a fan tweeted asking if Eric was done with TNA and he replied "Yes" this story is interesting because Eric had said on a local wrestling podcast a few weeks ago that he was tired of jobbing. TNA officials will probably talk to Eric Young after this weeks Impact taping and try to have him come back to work but right now it's looking doubtful that Eric will return to TNA.

- TNA has promised a major announcement for this weeks TNA Impact with many fans and insiders speculating that it could be the announcement of a wrestler. Rumors have been circulating that TNA has been in contact with former WWE Champion Alberto Del Rio. Bischoff allegedly received word that Alberto's contract was up and offered a lot more money then WWE offered (We're hearing 1.2 million a year plus bonuses) it's rumored Del Rio is unhappy in the WWE so this major announcement could see the WWE star join TNA.

- Here is the upcoming Press Release for TNA Impact Wrestling:

Quote:

-impactwrestling.com

TNA Impact Wrestling will come to you live from the Genesis Convention Center in Gary Indiana this week for 2 hours of LIVE Total Nonstop Action Wrestling featuring all your favourite stars including Hulk Hogan, AJ Styles, Kurt Angle, Jeff Hardy and many more.

Earlier today we announced on impactwrestling.com that this edition of Impact Wrestling would feature a major announcement that will rock Total Nonstop Action to it's very core. This announcement is top secret and will feature TNA President Dixie Carter, Eric Bischoff and "The Immortal" Hulk Hogan. It's always time for a major announcement when Dixie Carter is around so one has to question what this could be. One thing is for sure though, it will be announced this week and you will have to tune in to find out!

In a major match announced earlier this week we'll see TNA Tag Team action on this weeks edition of Impact Wrestling as Bully Ray and Devon (Team 3.D) team together to take on Gunner and James Storm. Team 3.D have said they were angry that Gunner and Storm received a shot at the TNA World Tag Titles before them and they want to take this injustice out on them. This is a massive match for Impact and fans won't want to miss it.

In other wrestling related news we'll see Chris Sabin team with Petey Williams to take on Kenny King and Noam Dar. We'll witness Homicide collide with Jeff Hardy and new TNA Knockouts Champion Isis will collide with Gail Kim in her first title defense.

This edition of Impact promises to be huge with a huge announcement and a great card of wrestling action. Make sure you tune in live and if you can't tune in live don't forget to DVR us at 9/8c
- TNA Final Resolution card information is also here as posted on impactwrestling.com

- We get a shot of the Genesis Convention Center in Indiana we're greeted by Tenay, Taz and Striker who show clips from Abyss/Magnus last night and talk about how Magnus made a major stride in becoming TNA World Heavyweight Champion again by beating Abyss for the TNA Television Title. As the announcers finish putting over Magnus we go to Jeremy Borash who is in the ring. Borash welcomes us to Impact and says right now he'd like to introduce to us the new TNA Television Champion MAGNUS! The crowd erupt into cheers as the music of Magnus plays and out he walks wearing a suit and tie. He has a bandage around his head and the TNA Television Championship on his shoulder as he walks down to the ring and enters, shaking the hand of Jeremy Borash and posing in the ring to a nice reaction from the audience.

Borash attempts to ask Magnus a question but is drowned out with "Next World Champ" chants directed at Magnus who smiles, adjusts the TNA Television Title and encourages JB to ask his question. Borash says it was a hell of a night last night and that it must of felt good for Magnus to win his first singles title officially in TNA. Magnus says it was the single greatest night of his career and that winning such a prestigious title was fantastic for him. Magnus is asked who his first challenger will be but before he can answer the music of Abyss hits and out he walks with James Mitchell in tow. They stand on the ramp and are booed by the audience as Mitchell laughs.

Mitchell says that Magnus shouldn't answer that question because Mitchell already knows the answer. Magnus looks on intently as Mitchell informs Magnus that tonight it's going to be Abyss Vs Magnus in a Falls Count Anywhere Match. Magnus raises the title above his head and is clearly focused as Abyss and Mitchell walk to the back. Borash says that is a massive match and it'll be later tonight right here on Impact. Magnus plays to the crowd as we cut to commercial break

TNA Tag Team Match:

Chris Sabin and Petey Williams Vs Kenny King and Noam Dar

As we come back from commercial Tenay and the other announcers take the time to discuss Dixie Carters announcement tonight during Kenny King and Noam Dars entrance. Noam and King enter the ring to a negative reaction as they yell at fans from the ring. Next the music of Petey Williams hits as the X-Division Star walks down high fiving the fans at ringside before standing on the ramp waiting for his partner. "HAIL SABIN" hits as Chris Sabin walks out to a nice pop from the Indiana faithful. He and Petey enter the ring and charge in immediately starting the match with King and Noam Dar.

The four men brawl in the ring as referee Brian Hebner calls for the opening bell. Petey Williams tosses Kenny King to the floor before hitting a springboard moonsault onto King on the floor. The two rise to their feet as Noam Dar climbs to the top rope and hits a top rope shooting star press onto the other 2 men on the outside. As all three recover on the floor Sabin looks into the crowd who pop for him. Sabin shrugs his shoulders and bounces off the ropes hitting a tope con hilo onto the three men on the floor. The audience are going crazy for Sabin as a massive "Sabin" chant erupts from them. Sabin is up first and tosses Noam Dar into the ring as the match rages on.

Sabin attempts a suplex but Noam is having none of that and fights Sabin off before drop toe holding him. Noam holds Sabin down as Kenny King hits a top rope legdrop illegally. Referee Hebner drops down as Noam pins Sabin but only manages a 2 count before Sabin gets a foot on the rope. The beatdown continues as King and Noam take turns beating down on Sabin as Taz talks about how great King and Noam are clicking for a new team. King and Noam attempt a double suplex but Sabin this time reverses the suplex attempt and hits a dropkick on Noam. King attacks Sabin from behind but Sabin quickly tags in Petey Williams.

Petey Williams rushes in and is as fresh as a daisy. He hits Noam Dar and tosses him to the floor before kicking King in the stomach and delivering the Canadian Destroyer. Sabin begs for a tag as Petey complies and tags in Sabin who immediately climbs to the top rope. As he waits Petey charges at Noam who lowers the rope causing Petey to fall. Noam Dar shakes the ropes causing Sabin to be crotched onto the turnbuckle before blind tagging King. Noam Dar charges towards Sabin, jumps onto the second rope and then hits a top rope belly to belly suplex on Sabin. Sabin is down and out as Noam quickly pins Sabin for the one two and the three.

Post match Noam celebrates in the ring by posing over Sabin. Tenay makes note that Noam lost to Sabin last night but he's had the last laugh with a win here tonight. Taz talks about how Noam is a future star as we cut to the back.

Kenny King and Noam Dar defeated Chris Sabin and Petey Williams

- We are now in the parking lot as a limousine arrives and of course, Hulk Hogan emerges from the back seat to a nice reaction from the audience. Borash is on the scene as he asks if Hogan knows anything about the announcement tonight. Hogan says he knows nothing that hasn't been announced publically. Hogan does mention that Dixie told him on the phone that this would change the landscape of TNA forever. Hogan says he can't wait as we cut away.

- We are now in the lockeroom of Magnus who is sitting at a table with the TNA Television Title infront of him. A knock on the door is heard as Magnus says "Come in" and Samoa Joe emerges in casual street wear. Joe says Magnus should have second thoughts about fighting Abyss last night. Joe says last Sunday was really intense and Magnus should rest for a week. Magnus says he appreciates Joe's concern but he's got this one. Joe nods and says that he has Magnus' back tonight. The two shake hands as we cut away.

TNA Knockouts Championship Match:

Gail Kim Vs Isis (C)

Gail Kim comes out first as the announcers show us clips of Isis beating Velvet Sky last night. Taz talks about he has never seen a woman the size of Isis as Gail Kim enters the ring and poses to a mixed reaction. The amazon music plays next and out walks Isis with the Knockouts Title over her shoulder. She walks down to the ring, climbs over the top rope and poses with the title over her head as the crowd boo her. Referee Brian Hebner calls for the opening bell and we're underway.

Gail storms Isis but Isis immediately big boots her directly in the face knocking Gail to the floor. Isis follows Gail to the floor hitting her with a press slam to the guard rail. Gail lands throat first on the guard rail as Isis tosses her back into the ring and pins her but Gail kicks out just at two. This angers Isis who hits a snake eyes on Gail Kim and as Kim propells backwards she's hit with another big boot to the back of the head.

Gail tries to fight back midway through the match but her forearms and punches have no effect on Isis who again big boots Gail in the face. Isis looks around and grabs Gail by the throat delivering a Chokeslam on Gail. The crowd boo Isis as Isis picks Gail up and delivers another Chokeslam. Brian Hebner is encouraging Isis to pin Gail but Isis picks her up a third time and hits a massive Chokeslam on her.

Isis stares down at Gail satisfied with her work as Isis puts one foot on the chest of Gail Kim as referee Brian Hebner immediately counts to three and awards the match to Isis who isn't done and grabs Gail and puts her in a Powerbomb position. As Isis is about to Powerbomb Gail we have Mickie James running out.

Mickie slides into the ring and climbs the top turnbuckle hitting a missile dropkick which stumbles the gigantic Isis. Isis climbs over the top rope and bails as Mickie tends to Gail Kim in the ring. Isis walks to the back with her Knockouts Championship as Mickie seems relieved that her plan worked as we cut to commercial.

Isis defeated Gail Kim to retain the TNA Knockouts Championship

- We return from commercial as Hulk Hogan is walking the hall. He exchanges pleasantries with some workers backstage before entering his office. He opens the door and is greeted by a very serious looking Kurt Angle. The two men shake hands as Hulk asks what he can do for Kurt. Kurt says at Turning Point he got screwed as Hulk nods and says he knows. Kurt says he want a rematch at Final Resolution in a Last Man Standing match. Hulk takes a moment to think before saying he can't do that and that Kurt is going to have to earn it. Kurt asks how as Hulk says tonights main event will be a 10 man battle royale with the winner getting a title match with AJ Styles at Final Resolution. Kurt smirks and says he will win that match and walks away.

TNA Singles Match:

Jeff Hardy Vs Homicide

Homicide makes his way out first to a nice reaction from the audience. He enters the ring and poses on the turnbuckle before jumping down allowing himself to be checked by referee Brian Stiffler. Jeff Hardy is out next as he gets a massive response from the audience and makes his way to the ring. He high fives fans on the way down to ringside and jumps into the ring before posing on the turnbuckles getting massive reactions each time. He is also checked for weapons by Brian Stiffler as Stiffler calls for the bell.

Hardy and Homicide both slap hands before the match as Mike Tenay gives them kudos for having sportsmanship. Hardy and Homicide lock up as Homicide quickly hits a Japanese Armdrag on Hardy. This seems to surprise Hardy who rises up quickly but is quickly kicked by Homicide who tosses him into the corner and chops away at him. The crowd start a Hardy chant as Hardy starts fighting back hitting multiple shots to the abdomen of Homicide. Hardys kick is blocked by Homicide but Hardy kicks Homicide with the other leg knocking him down. Hardy quickly climbs to the top rope and signals for the Swanton Bomb.

Hardy dives and hits the Swanton Bomb but unfortunately for him Homicide was nowhere to be found and Hardy hit the mat hard. Homicide begins stomping away at Hardy after this and even knee's him in the head multiple times before getting to his feet and playing to the crowd who now boo him for beating down on Hardy. Homicide attempts a whip into the corner on Hardy but Hardy jumps up onto the top rope and hits the Whisper In The Wind on Homicide. Homicide is down as Hardy gets to his feet and waits for Homicide to stand up. Homicide does as Hardy quickly kicks him in the mid section.

Hardy grabs the head of Homicide and signals for the Twist Of Fate. Hardy nails it right in the middle of the ring as he climbs up to the top rope and signals for the Swanton Bomb to a strong reaction from the audience. This time Homicide couldn't get out of the way and Jeff Hardy hits the Swanton Bomb right on Homicide. Hardy hooks Homicides leg as referee Brian Stiffler drops down and counts the one two and three awarding the match to Jeff Hardy.

Post match the announcers put over Jeff Hardy saying that for such a young man he's achieved so much. Hardy stops celebrating and helps Homicide to his feet and raises his hand as the crowd cheer for the duo big time. We cut to commercial as Hardy and Homicide share a hug.

Jeff Hardy defeated Homicide

- As we return from commercial we're in the office of Eric Bischoff who is talking to Ted DiBiase Jr. Eric asks who gave Hulk all the power around here. Ted Jr angrily shakes his head as Eric informs Ted that he's going to be in that big main event battle royale tonight. Bischoff says Hulk might be against them but the Final Resolution 2013 main event will be AJ Styles Vs Ted DiBiase Jr for the TNA World Heavyweight Title. DiBiase Jr says he likes the sound of that as we cut away

- We cut to Jeff Hardy who is walking down the hall with a towel soaking up the sweat. Hardy turns a corner and is stopped by Christopher Daniels and Frankie Kazarian of Bad Influences. The two adjust their tag team titles and congratulate Jeff on his win. Daniels says beating a chump like Homicide doesn't mean anything and informs Hardy that he should be aiming at beating Bad Influences. Hardy says he will and immediately challenges Christopher Daniels to a match next week. Daniels says he doesn't fight without Kazarian and says next week it can be Bad Influences Vs Jeff Hardy and a partner of his choosing in a non title tag match. Hardy agrees and leaves as Bad Influences seem excited by the idea of wrestling Hardy next week.

TNA Television Championship Falls Count Anywhere Match:

Abyss W/ James Mitchell Vs Magnus (C)

Abyss and James Mitchell are out first both looking very focused. Mitchell is pep talking Abyss as Abyss enters the ring and scares referee Brian Stiffler. Abyss does a power stance in the ring to a negative reaction from the audience as suddenly the music of Magnus hits and out he comes with the TNA Television Title around his waist a bandage around his head. Magnus charges the ring and immediately starts brawling with Abyss as referee Stiffler calls for the bell.

Magnus and Abyss brawl with Abyss getting the advantage and clubbing away at Magnus' back and tossing him to the outside. Tenay makes sure to remind us that this is falls count anywhere as Abyss tosses Magnus into a row of chairs in the crowd. Abyss tackles the seated Magnus knocking all the chairs over as James Mitchell hands Abyss a nearby Kendo Stick with Abyss uses to hit Magnus on the back with. Magnus crawls away as Abyss follows him with the Kendo Stick in hand. Magnus finally gets to his feet and grabs the Kendo Stick from Abyss hitting him in the head with it. The first shot to the head doesn't seem to do much but the second shot knocks Abyss down to 1 knee and the third shot knocks Abyss out.

Magnus attempts a pin in the audience but Abyss kicks out at two which causes the match to continue. Magnus finds a trash can that he places over the head of Abyss and clotheslines knocking Abyss down. Eventually Abyss got his comeback going though and dragged Magnus backstage where the two continued to brawl. Eventually they get sick of tearing the backstage area up and work their way down to the ring again. Abyss rips the bandage off Magnus' head and attacks the closed wound tearing it open again as the crowd boo him. Abyss exits the ring and reveals a BARBED WIRE TABLE. The announcers can't believe this as they beg someone to stop the match. Abyss pushes it into the ring and enters himself before setting it up.

Abyss hits Magnus with a trash can lid and tosses him into the corner as Abyss raises Magnus to the corner obviously planning a big move into the barbed wire table. Magnus slips out and lands on the mat but as he charges Abyss the seated Abyss kicks him in the face knocking him down. At this point the crowd erupt into cheers as Samoa Joe sprints down with a chair in hand. He climbs the ringside steps and smashes the steel chair into the head of Abyss who falls backwards and right into the barbed wire table. The downed Magnus crawls over and covers Abyss for the three count as the crowd erupt into cheers.

Post match Joe helps Magnus to his feet as James Mitchell enters the ring and starts yelling at Joe. Joe pushes Mitchell into the corner and raises the chair but at the last second Joe turns and HITS MAGNUS WITH THE CHAIR! Magnus goes down in a heap as Mitchell bails to the floor and drags the torn up Abyss to the floor. Joe punches away at the head of Magnus opening up the wound even more as Tenay has no idea why this is happening. Joe dips his hand in the blood of Magnus and wipes it all over his chest as we cut to commercial pretty quickly

Magnus defeated Abyss to retain the TNA Television Championship

- We return from commercial as a very angry Samoa Joe is walking through the backstage area with Jeremy Borash chasing behind him trying to get a comment on what just happened. Borash follows Joe to the parking lot trying to find out why Joe attacked his friend. Joe enters his car and speeds out of the car park leaving Tenay, Striker and Taz to speculate on why Joe attacked his former friend and Main Event Mafia stable mate.

- We cut to the back where Team 3.D begin cutting a promo. Bully states that tonight Team 3.D are going to prove to Gunner and Storm why they should of been number 1 contenders for the TNA World Tag Team Titles. Team 3.D say they are sick and tired of being disrespected here in TNA and that tonight is all about respect.

TNA Tag Team Match:

Gunner and James Storm Vs Team 3.D

Team 3.D are out first as they make their way down to the ring. Bully stops to bully a child at ringside as Devon laughs. The two slide into the ring and taunt the audience from opposite turnbuckles to a negative reaction from the fans at the arena tonight. Next Gunner and James Storm come out looking focused and pumped up especially after losing their match on Sunday at Turning Point. The four men stand off as Devon will start out against Gunner for this one. Referee Earl Hebner calls for the bell and we're underway in this one.

Devon and Gunner lock up but Gunner isn't going to play with Devon and immediately drives him into the corner turnbuckle shouldering away at the torso of Devon. Gunner gets a big run up and hits a final shoulder into the corner on Devon before quickly hitting a belly to belly suplex on Devon. Devon tags out to Bully who takes his time entering the ring as Gunner tags in Storm who charges in forcing Bully to keep up the pace. Storm hip tosses Bully a couple of times and attempts a suplex but Bully pokes him in the eyes and takes the advantage for himself.

Bully clubs away at Storm before quickly tagging in Devon. Team 3.D stomp away at Storm in their own corner as referee Earl Hebner eventually gets Bully onto the apron as Devon punches away at Storm and chokes him in the corner. Team 3.D took turns tagging in and out continuing to work Storm over until Storm hit Bully Ray with an Enziguri and began crawling over to his partner Gunner. Bully tags in Devon but straight after Storm tags in Gunner. Gunner charges in hitting anything that moves with right hands. He hits a stalling suplex on Devon right in the middle of the ring but is jumped from behind by Bully Ray as he got up to celebrate the suplex.

Bully clubs away at Gunner before whipping him off the ropes and lifting him up for the 3.D. Devon recovers just in time as the two deliver the 3.D on Gunner right in the middle of the ring. Bully pins Gunner as Devon drops a knee on Storm and holds it on the back of his head. Referee Earl Hebner drops down and counts to three awarding the match to Team 3.D

Post match Team 3.D yell at Gunner and James Storm calling them punks. Bully pulls some handcuffs out of his shorts and cuffs Gunner to the ropes. What follows is a savage beating on James Storm thanks to multiple chair shots from Team 3.D. Gunner can do nothing but watch as Bully and Devon take turns hitting Storm in the head with the chair. Gunner eventually uses his sheer strength to break the handcuffs which causes Team 3.D to scurry out of the ring and retreat up the ramp. Gunner tends to Storm as Mike Tenay informs us we have to go commercial but up next we'll get Dixie Carters announcement AND the Battle Royale to crown a new number 1 contender.

Team 3.D defeated Gunner and James Storm

- We return from commercial as the music of Dixie Carter plays and she walks out to a nice reaction from the audience and enters the ring before being handed the microphone by Christy Hemme. Dixie says hello to the Indiana fans as they cheer her. Dixie says she has some exciting news that will shake TNA to it's very core tonight. Dixie says she isn't going to drag the announcement out but says she needs two men in the ring before she can make the announcement. Dixie invites Hulk Hogan out as Hulk's music plays and Hulk walks out.

Hulk is dressed in casual wear as he stands on the ramp and cups his hand to his ear to a nice reaction from the crowd here tonight. Hogan enters the ring and cups his hand to all four corners getting a HUGE reaction from the fans. Hulk shakes Dixie's hand as Dixie asks Hulk if it's okay to bring Eric Bischoff out. The crowd boo at the mention of Eric as Hulk shrugs his shoulders and says "Do what you gotta do, Dixie" this leads to the music of Eric Bischoff playing and out he walks with Kenny King behind him. Bischoff and King enter the ring as Bischoff hugs Dixie and gets booed from the audience.

Dixie says that this announcement involves both men and the entire TNA roster. Dixie asks Eric, Hulk and the audience to direct their attention to the screen as a video begins playing.

The video shows highlights of the 11 years of TNA action. We see stars like Kurt Angle, Jeff Hardy, Hulk Hogan, Sting etc etc as a voice over proclaims "This is a new beginning, a new start!" after that we get a quick shot of Sting who shouts "It's SHOWTIME folks" after that we get an image saying "TNA Showtime debuts Friday December 6th 8/9c LIVE on Spike TV"

Dixie has a big smile on her face as she says that TNA will be debuting their new one hour a week show on December 6th live on Spike TV. Dixie makes note of being up against "New York" and then mentions that she knows how much Eric and Hulk love competition. Dixie informs the duo that she expects this show to work so Eric and Hulk have to start getting along and make the show on December 6th something that can "compete" Eric and Hulk both nod as Dixie tells the audience that more information about "TNA Showtime" will be posted on impactwrestling.com tonight. She thanks both men for their time and tells everyone to enjoy the main event tonight.

Dixie, Eric and Hulk all leave seperately as Mike Tenay talks about what a massive announcement that is. Taz is excited about it and says more Impact Wrestling is definitely a good thing. We cut to commercial break as Tenay hypes the main event which is next.

- We come back from commercial as Kurt Angle is standing by with Jeremy Borash in the back. Borash asks Angle on what he thinks his chances are here tonight as Angle says he's 100% walking out as number 1 contender tonight. He says that he knows he's up against 9 other great wrestlers but claims he is so focused that the match is his for the taking tonight.

TNA 10 Man Number 1 Contenders Battle Royale:

Alex Shelley Vs Austin Aries Vs Bobby Roode Vs Chavo Guerrero Vs Christopher Daniels Vs Hernandez Vs Jeff Hardy Vs Kurt Angle Vs Magnus Vs Ted DiBiase Jr

All 10 men make their regular entrances but Magnus was still hurt from the prior attack from Joe and was more bandaged up then earlier. All the men entered the ring as Christy Hemme went over the rules for the fans in the arena or the fans at home. Once referee Brian Hebner called for the bell it was mayhem right away with Mike Tenay introducing AJ Styles to us who is at ringside as an announcer. AJ is asked who he wants to see win this one and AJ replies "Anyone but Angle"

All the men start to brawl except for Christopher Daniels who simply lays down and hugs the bottom rope. Taz discusses how this is a smart tactic but as he says this Hernandez has already tossed Chavo over the top rope. Chavo argues with Hernandez but the clearly hurt Magnus dumps Hernandez out also. We're now down to 8 as Magnus quickly tosses Bobby Roode out also to the shock of the announcers. Taz says Roode was his pick for this one but he's now changing his pick to Magnus.

Magnus attempts to eliminate Christopher Daniels but Daniels refuses to let go of the middle rope. Ted DiBiase Jr attacks Magnus from behind and attempts to dump him out. With the help of Daniels, Magnus is quickly dumped out of the ring. Kurt Angle is in the corner getting chopped multiple times by Shelley but eventually Angle gets sick of it and belly to belly suplexes Shelley over the top rope. Angle isn't done however as he tosses Austin Aries out leaving four men left in the ring. Angle and Hardy beat down on Ted DiBiase Jr but after Ted is knocked down they turn their attention to Daniels and start stomping him. Daniels releases from the ropes and is picked up by Angle and belly to belly suplexed over the top rope and onto the floor. Ted DiBiase Jr catches Jeff Hardy by surprise and tosses him over the top as we're left with Angle and Ted DiBiase Jr.

Angle and Ted Jr brawl around the ring as Angle hits a belly to belly suplex on Ted Jr and locks in the Ankle Lock. Ted Jr taps out but it doesn't count according to Mike Tenay as Angle eventually releases the hold and hits an Angle Slam over the top rope on Ted DiBiase Jr. Both of Ted Jr's feet hit the floor as the bell rings and Kurt Angle is awarded the match.

Post match Kurt celebrates his victory in the ring as a very disappointed Ted DiBiase Jr walks to the back. AJ Styles who was sitting at ringside announcing makes eye contact with Kurt. Kurt glares at AJ as AJ picks up the World Heavyweight Title and raises it up. The two stare down as the show ends with Tenay wondering what will happen at Final Resolution.

Kurt Angle defeated 9 other men to become the number 1 contender for the TNA World Heavyweight Championship

---End Show---

Default Re: TNA 2013 - A New Man In Charge

I like what I've read so far. The format to your shows is good, which I find to be the most important part. I can look past grammatical and spelling errors, but an unappealing format is too much. I didn't care for Ted Jr. when he was in the WWE, but you've booked him fairly good so far. I'm wondering just who, if anyone, joins there feud against the Old School. Your tag team scene looks good, probably building to BI vs. 3D, which should be interesting when or if it happens. Of course Hardy and his mystery partner could mock up things. I like the Joe heel turn, its logical since Joe has been on the losing side lately, whereas his friend, Magnus, is soaring to new heights. That match up should be a fun one. Speaking about fun ones, the upcoming Styles/Angle match should be a blood bath, can't wait. Lastly, I really like what you are doing with Isis. Reminds me of the time Awesome Kong ruled the Knock Outs division.

Default Re: TNA 2013 - A New Man In Charge

-411mania.com

- TNA Impact Wrestling earned itself a 1.2 rating last night which is down from the 1.4 of last week. It's a worrying sign for TNA who promised a major announcement on this show and delivered announcing that they had signed a deal with Spike TV to debut "TNA Showtime" starting December 6th.

- Last week we reported that Alberto Del Rio was in discussions with TNA and we can confirm this was true. In terms of money Del Rio was offered a contract worth 2.8 million dollars over 2 years. Del Rio apparently considered the offer but then re-signed with WWE on a 4 year deal.

- In other wrestler contract news Eric Young who we reported had returned home and was going to sit out his contract. TNA confirmed on their website today that Eric has been released effective immediately

- Jeff Jarrett made his return from hiatus this week at Impact. He and Karen Jarrett watched the show from a private area and were catching up with friends backstage. Currently it's unknown whether Jeff is gearing up for a return or not.

- TNA Showtime the new 1 hour show set to compete with WWE Smackdown was announced at last nights Impact show. Eric Bischoff did an interview talking about it last night (Posted below) but as it stands this is seen as something that will make or break TNA.

- More on TNA Showtime, rumors are that Spike TV has paid a lot of money for TNA Showtime and is backing the shows battle with WWE financially. Spike is also helping out massively with advertising costs with a billboard of Hulk Hogan going up at Universal Studio's in Orlando Florida advertising the show. TNA has also received many advertisements on Spike TV during prime time.

- Eric Bischoff answered questions from reporters last night after the show. Although Dixie made the announcement the TNA Showtime idea was Eric's idea and he of course, will be booking it:

Quote:
-impactwrestling.com

Q1: "Eric, First question I guess is why try and compete with Vince? TNA tried this in 2010 and it failed. Why try again?"

Eric: "Monday Night RAW is a massive brand and don't get me wrong, so is Smackdown but Smackdown rates around a 2.1 most of the time un opposed. I think TNA Showtime can take away at least some of that audience and we can make a contest out of it all. As for why? I like competition and there is no better competitor than Vince McMahon.

Q2: "Eric, Do you think this show will cause there to be too much exposure of the TNA product on National TV?"

Eric: "Not at all, It's a one hour show which is about 42 minutes without commercials. We're not like the WWE who has like 8 hours a week this will be our third hour a week and we'll do a lot to make it different to Impact.

Q3: "Different? How is Showtime going to be different to Impact or even Friday Night Smackdown?"

Eric: "Honestly, we have so many ideas right now. A return of Gut Check is being discussed. There will be a lot more emphasis on the younger talent with only 1 or 2 of our star performers performing on the show a week. Apart from that we have deals with AAA and Wrestle-1 who are happy to send talent out for these events as well.

Q4: "Where are you filming this? Will it be on the road like Impact?"

Eric: "No, TNA Showtime will be filmed live every week from Universal Studio's in Orlando Florida. Soundstage 21 the former Impact Zone. Xplosion will be moved to be taped before the Showtime tapings also.

Q5: "How much is Spike supporting this deal?"

Eric: "Very much so, we love Spike and the hard work they've done with this deal. They paid for advertising space at Universal to advertise the show. They paid the lease on the Impact Zone and also paid us to run the show. Spike have been amazing and they really are happy with our recently increased ratings."

Q6: "What about Panda? Have they assisted financially?"

Eric: "Of course, Panda dropped a lot of money that we're going to use for a lot of stuff on show day. Things such as pyro, stage set up will all be paid for by Panda"

Q7: "In terms of talent will we see anyone else come into the company now that you have another hour of television?"

Eric: "Honestly I can say right now that we've been talking to some big name stars and we'd love to bring them to TNA. We recently were in discussions with WWE Superstar Alberto Del Rio but negotiations broke down. These are the types of names we want to bring to TNA"

Q8: "Eric, You're known for being ruthless back in the day when you were in charge of WCW and competing with WWE. Will it be the same this time around?"

Eric: "Moreso. You have to understand that I don't really like Vince McMahon. I respect him but I want to be the guy who took Vince's empire down. I will use every single dirty tactic to beat him. There is no other shot for me, I'm never going back to WWE and if TNA falls I'm never working in wrestling again. This is my final shot at ending Vince's empire and I plan to take every opportunity to end it.

Hulk enters the ring and grabs Eric's microphone before asking what Eric is doing. Hulk says Bischoff is an idiot and is ruining the show with this "B.S"

Bischoff interrupts and starts yelling at Hulk to leave because nobody wants to see him. Bischoff says if Hulk doesn't leave right now then he'll have Ted Jr bury Hulk as well. Eric slaps Hulk in the face as Hulk grabs Eric by the hair as the crowd erupt. Hogan winds up a punch on Eric but before he can nail it Hogan is hit from behind by a chair. Ted DiBiase Jr is the man who has knocked Hulk down and Ted Jr is quickly joined by Kenny King who has a chair of his own. Kenny King and Ted DiBiase Jr stomp away at Hulk much to the delight of Eric Bischoff as the crowd begin the "Bischoff sucks" chant again.

The two chairs are stacked in the middle of the ring as Ted DiBiase Jr has Hulk Hogan in a Piledriver position. At this time we hear a vehicle engine. The music of MR ANDERSON hits as a Pickup Truck drives out from the backstage area and down the ramp. Anderson stops the truck at ringside and exits it before entering the ring and nailing Kenny King with a right hand. Ted Jr leaves Hulk and is also hit with a right hand. The crowd are going crazy here as Anderson grabs Bischoff and delivers the Mic Check right in the middle of the ring. Hogan rises and stomps Bischoff out of the ring as DiBiase Jr and Kenny King help Bischoff to the back.

The show ends with Anderson celebrating on his Pickup Truck as Hulk looks on seemingly pleased that Anderson has returned. Tenay thanks us for tuning in and tells us to tune in next week for another edition of Impact.

Default Re: TNA 2013 - A New Man In Charge

-411mania.com

- Last night TNA managed a 1.3 rating which is up from the 1.2 last week. This edition featured 2 TNA homegrown stars colliding so this has to be seen as a victory for the TNA stars that they still managed this rating without Jeff Hardy, Kurt Angle or Sting in the main event. Workers within TNA think that the upcoming TNA Showtime show is why Impact ratings have improved which could very well be true. TNA has a lot of bandwagon fans currently and with more quality programming this bandwagon could build.

- For all the Chavo Guerrero fans out there, Chavo has signed a new 3 year deal with TNA. Chavo is expected to do another couple years of wrestling in TNA before moving down to Ohio Valley and assisting with the training of TNA's developmental talents.

- Eric Bischoff spoke on local TV this weekend and was asked about TNA Showdown. Eric was tight lipped about specifics but said he was confident that this show could compete with the competition which is of course WWE Smackdown. Bischoff said on this weeks edition of Impact a lot more would be revealed before saying that TNA is the best product in the world and that people need to check it out.

- Here is the TNA Impact Press Release for this week:

Quote:
TNA Impact comes to you live this week from the Fitzgerald Field House in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania for 2 hours of hard hitting wrestling action featuring your favourite stars such as AJ Styles, Hulk Hogan, Magnus, Sting and many more

In the nights main event we will see 1996 Olympian Kurt Angle return to his home city of Pittsburgh to team with former World Tag Team Champions Gunner and James Storm to collide with AJ Styles and Team 3.D in a six man tag team match. AJ Styles and Kurt Angle have been at war for weeks now as have Team 3.D and Gunner/Storm. This match promises to be something special and can't be missed so make sure you tune in.

In other news, Magnus will be on hand for an interview with a new mystery TNA signing. Hulk Hogan informed impactwrestling.com that this signing will "change the face of TNA forever". What will Magnus have to say about Samoa Joe's challenge? Who will this new TNA signing be? You better not miss this announcement!

In other action, Jeff Hardy and Manik will team up to collide with the Bromans in tag team action. Chris Sabin will go one on one with Garrett Bischoff and we'll also see Ted DiBiase Jr compete against Greg Marasciulo in a singles match.

This edition of Impact promises to be an eventful show and one not to be missed. You can't miss this one so we encourage all fans to tune in at 8/9c live on Spike TV

Default Re: TNA 2013 - A New Man In Charge

-411mania.com

TNA Impact Results:

- We get the normal opening intro and after that we cut to the Fitzgerald Field House in Pittsburgh as Mike Tenay, Taz and Matt Striker welcome us to tonights show. Tenay hypes tonights main event which will see AJ Styles team with Team 3.D to take on Kurt Angle, Gunner and James Storm. Matt Striker takes the time to hype the Magnus interview saying that a special guest will interview Magnus about the Samoa Joe situation as we cut to the parking lot

- In the parking lot a limousine has appeared as Eric Bischoff, Kenny King, RHETT TITUS and Ted DiBiase Jr emerge from the back of it. All four men are dressed nicely in suit and tie as Jeremy Borash is on the scene and approaches Eric. Eric is asked about the special guest tonight and Eric says that Hulk is the one involved in that and he has no idea. Eric says his surprise is none other than Rhett Titus though. Borash questions Eric as to who Rhett Titus is. Bischoff informs Borash that Rhett is a former tag team partner of Kenny King and was signed to help Eric out. Eric says he has no more time for Borash as he and his team walk away.

- After that we cut to the arena as the announcers talk about how Hulk Hogan went to Pittsburgh Airport to pick the special guest up. We cut to footage of a yellow limousine driving back from the airport with a Police escort. Taz makes note that the last time we saw a Police escort on TNA television it was Hulk Hogan coming to TNA. Tenay, Striker and Taz speculate on who it could be as the music of the Bromans hits

TNA Tag Team Match:

Bromans Vs Jeff Hardy and Manik

Bromans walk out to the ring as they enter the ring and pose in the ring. Robbie E and Brian Stiffler argue as the music of Manik hits next and he makes his entrance. He walks down the ramp and waits on it as the music of Jeff Hardy hits and out he comes dancing and crawling on the ramp. Manik and Hardy high five some fans and charge into the ring as referee Brian Stiffler calls for the bell.

The four men immediately start brawling but Manik tosses Jessie to the floor. Jeff Hardy works Robbie E down with stomps in the corner before hitting a corner dropkick on Robbie E. Robbie is down as Hardy plays to the crowd to a big reaction here in Pittsburgh. Hardy mule kicks Robbie and tags in Manik who jumps off the top rope and double stomps Robbie E right in the arm. Manik quickly hits an arm wringer and elbows Robbie multiple times in the arm but Robbie E pulls away and tags in Jessie who charges in and knocks Manik down with a clothesline right in the middle of the ring.

Manik is breathing heavy as Jessie continually stomps away at Manik before picking him up and delivering a DDT right in the middle of the ring. Jessie taunts Jeff Hardy who tries to enter the ring but Brian Stiffler stops him. As referee Stiffler is distracted Jessie and Robbie E both whip Manik off the ropes but as Manik comes back off the ropes he hits both Jessie and Robbie E with a double clothesline. The crowd are begging for a tag here as Manik crawls over quickly and tags in Jeff Hardy who is more then ready for the job. He charges at Robbie E in the corner and nails him with a clothesline before quickly scaling the turnbuckle and hitting a Whisper In The Wind on Jessie.

Hardy grabs Robbie E and whips at Manik who hits a rana on Robbie E and climbs to the top rope. Manik is perched on the top rope as Jeff Hardy nails the Twist Of Fate on Jessie. Hardy gets on the opposite turnbuckle as both he and Manik pose. Hardy hits the Swanton Bomb on Jessie as Manik delivers a frog splash on Robbie E. Referee Stiffler drops down and does a double count for the one, two and the three. Referee Stiffler calls for the bell and awards the match to Manik and Hardy.

Post match Manik and Jeff Hardy celebrate in the ring as Tenay talks about what a great team they are and how well they're doing. Taz mentions that the team has been endorsed by Hulk Hogan as the music of Bad Influence hits

Jeff Hardy and Manik defeated Bromans

- Bad Influence step out onto the stage with the TNA World Tag Team Titles over their shoulders and a microphone in their hands. Hardy and Manik stand tall in the ring as Daniels begins speaking. Daniels says last week both Jeff Hardy and Manik got lucky when they beat Bad Influence. Daniels says he can respect any team that beats Bad Influence but informs Manik and Hardy that they shouldn't get their hopes up because Bad Influence never lose to the same team twice. Kazarian informs the duo of Jeff Hardy and Manik that the tag team titles are not leaving the waists of Bad Influence. Kazarian encourages them to try their best at the PPV as we cut to commercial.

- We return from commercial as the announcers take the time to hype the Magnus interview which is coming at the top of the hour according to Tenay. We cut to the yellow Hulkamania Limousine that is still driving and still has a Police escort. More speculation from the announcers with Taz suggesting that it could be Mike Tenay's old broadcast partner Don West. Tenay doesn't seem impressed by Taz's guess as we cut to the back.

- In the back Samoa Joe is standing by with Jeremy Borash. Joe talks about how Magnus is all about the attention and always has been. Joe says nobody cares about what Magnus has to say tonight in his interview. Joe calls Magnus a bitch and says Magnus better accept Joe's challenge for Final Resolution or there will be "hell to pay"

TNA Singles Match:

Petey Williams Vs Samoa Joe

Petey Williams comes out and walks down to the ring. He slides into the ring and poses on the turnbuckle to a small reaction from the audience. Next, the music of Samoa Joe hits and out he walks with a towel over his head. He walks down to the ring and slides in before warming up in the corner. Referee Brian Stiffler checks both men are ready and calls for the opening bell signalling the start of the match.

Joe immediately charges at Petey in the corner but Petey moves out of the way. Joe turns and rushes at Petey again but gets dropkicked in the face by Petey Williams. Petey tosses Joe into the corner and kicks him multiple times but they have no effect on Joe. Petey bounces off the ropes but gets grabbed by Joe and is hit with an exploder suplex right in the middle of the ring. Joe sits Petey up and bounces off the ropes hitting him with a massive basement dropkick. Joe looks into the crowd who give him a mixed reaction as Joe stomps away at Petey and attempts an STF but Petey reaches out to the ropes.

Petey Williams jumps off the ropes attempting a Missile Dropkick but Joe moves out of the way and Petey crashes and burns. Joe grabs Petey and tosses him into the corner before spearing him in the corner. Petey is hurt in the ring as Joe delivers a splash in the middle of the ring. Joe rises to his feet and delivers a curb stomp in the middle of the ring on Petey Williams. Joe attempts a pin but Petey kicks out at two. Joe can't believe it and grabs Stiffler by the throat. Petey delivers an Enziguri to the back of Joe's head as Joe squashes referee Stiffler. Petey Williams pulls Joe into the middle of the ring and delivers the Canadian Destroyer right in the middle of the ring. Petey pins Samoa Joe right in the middle of the ring but referee Stiffler is down.

Stiffler eventually recovers and starts counting but Joe kicks out at two. Joe obviously had been recovering whilst being pinned though so when Petey Williams bounced off the ropes attempting a rana Joe powerbombed him right in the middle of the ring. Joe quickly picks Petey up and tosses him into the corner. Joe delivers the Muscle Buster and then quickly locks in the Rear Naked Choke as Stiffler proclaims Petey unconscious and calls for the bell awarding Joe the match.

Post match Joe refuses to break the hold as Brian Stiffler tries to convince Joe to break the hold. Eventually Joe does break the hold tossing the lifeless Petey Williams into a heap and leaving the ring as focused as before. Tenay says that Joe is a very dangerous man and it's unknown what his intentions are as we cut to commercial.

Samoa Joe defeated Petey Williams

- We come back from commercial as the music of Eric Bischoff hits and out he comes with Ted DiBiase Jr, Kenny King and Rhett Titus in tow. The four walk down and enter the ring as Eric Bischoff grabs the microphone off of Christy Hemme and sarcastically says he loves the audience as they all boo him. Eric says first and foremost he'd like to welcome Rhett Titus to the group. Rhett poses on a turnbuckle as the crowd boo him. Rhett and King high five eachother as Eric asks the fans how they enjoyed Sting's funeral last week. The crowd boo this as Eric smirks and asks what they thought about Mr Anderson and the crowd cheers for Anderson.

Eric says it's good they all like Anderson because at Final Resolution 2013 Ted DiBiase Jr is going to do what he did to Sting at Turning Point. The crowd boo this as Ted Jr smirks and allows Eric to continue. Eric says he has all the stroke around here and says in preparation for the PPV match against Ted DiBiase Jr that tonight we will see Abyss Vs Mr Anderson tonight in this very ring. The crowd boo this as the music of Anderson hits and out he comes with a microphone in hand. He stands on the ramp as the crowd cheer him and start an Anderson chant. The chant dies down as Anderson begins to speak.

Anderson says Eric is a funny guy and that it's funny that Eric thinks he cares about having to wrestle either Abyss or DiBiase Jr on upcoming shows. Anderson says Eric's plan won't work and that Anderson is going to beat both Abyss and DiBiase Jr and then he's coming after Bischoff. Bischoff yells that Anderson has no chance as the music of Anderson hits. As Anderson turns around on the ramp to leave none other then ABYSS emerges from the back with a chair in hand. He hits Anderson in the head with the chair and stomps away at him. Abyss poses on the ramp and leaves as we cut to commercial break.

- We return from commercial to the announcers who show footage of the Limousine which has arrived in the back. The Police have surrounded the Limousine and shoo the camera man away as we cut back to the ring where Ted DiBiase Jr is waiting and warming up in the ring

TNA Singles Match:

Greg Marasciulo Vs Ted DiBiase Jr

Ted continues to warm up as the music of Greg Marasciulo hits and he rushes down ready for action. He rolls into the ring as Ted DiBiase Jr begins stomping away at Marasciulo as referee Earl Hebner immediately calls for the bell.

DiBiase stomps away at Marasciulo but Marasciulo eventually recovers and hits a massive clothesline knocking DiBiase down. As DiBiase rises Marasciulo hits a springboard clothesline on DiBiase and attempts a pin earning himself a 2 count. Marasciulo hits a snap suplex on DiBiase and hits a legdrop off the top rope onto DiBiase. Marasciulo has the crowd solidly behind him as DiBiase is hit with a running forearm straight to the head. Marasciulo poses on the top turnbuckle before attempting a Moonsault but at the last second DiBiase Jr rolls out of the way and Marasciulo lands hard on the mat which gives DiBiase Jr the advantage.

Ted Jr locks in a front head lock as Marasciulo tries to reach the ropes but can't. DiBiase continued dominating Marasciulo even after the submission hold was broken. Ted Jr works Marasciulos leg over hitting a variety of atomic drops and leg breakers before locking in a one legged boston crab. Marasciulo is in agony as referee Earl Hebner asks him if he wants to quit. Marasciulo shakes his head "No" as Marasciulo gets to the bottom rope. DiBiase Jr releases the hold and works over the leg again. Eventually Marasciulo makes his come back hitting multiple right hands knocking Ted Jr down. Marasciulo struggles to climb to the top rope but gets there.

Greg Marasciulo waits for Ted DiBiase Jr to stand up but as he does Marasciulo falls off the top rope due to his bad leg. Ted Jr grabs Marasciulo and nails the Dream Crusher right in the middle of the ring. DiBiase Jr hooks the leg as referee Earl Hebner drops down and counts the one, two and three. He awards the match to Ted DiBiase Jr who rises to his feet and starts celebrating.

The announcers put DiBiase Jr over talking about how Eric Bischoff has a great future star on his hands here. Taz questions whether Anderson can beat DiBiase Jr at the PPV as Striker makes note that Anderson has to get through Abyss tonight first

Ted DiBiase Jr defeated Greg Marasciulo

- We get a hype video for tonights TNA Showtime with Hulk Hogan at a press conference. A graphic appears saying "Earlier this week" as Hulk Hogan stands on a stage in front of a few camera men and reporters and announces that the main event for TNA Showtime will be AJ Styles Vs Jeff Hardy Vs Samoa Joe for the TNA World Heavyweight Championship. Hulk Hogan also takes time to mention that wrestlers from America, Japan and Mexico will compete in a special three way tag team match.

- We cut to the back where Chris Sabin stands backstage with Jeremy Borash. Borash asks Sabin about his upcoming match with Garrett Bischoff as Sabin says it'll be a nice warm up but he's really focused on the upcoming match at Final Resolution. Sabin says Alex Shelley better watch himself because Sabin is taking the TNA X-Division Title at Final Resolution for the 7th time.

TNA Singles Match:

Chris Sabin Vs Garrett Bischoff

Garrett Bischoff is already in the ring warming up as we return from commercial. "HAIL SABIN" hits and out comes Sabin looking pumped up and ready for action. He charges the ring and immediately starts brawling with Garrett as referee Earl Hebner calls for the opening bell.

Sabin seemed to be rushing through this match immediately whipping Garrett off the ropes and nailing a dropkick. Sabin yells "C'mon" at the crowd as they react. Sabin hits a basement dropkick on Garrett before picking him up and nailing the Hail Sabin. Sabin pins Garrett and gets the three count after about a minute and a half of in ring action.

Sabin begins celebrating after his match as Tenay quickly says that coming up next is the Magnus interview. We cut to commercial immediately after this. I think this match may have been so short due to timing issue on the show.

Chris Sabin defeated Garrett Bischoff

- We return from commercial as the chaffeur opens the Hulkamania Limousine door. Hulk Hogan emerges from it but behind him is JIM ROSS the announcers at the booth can't believe it. "That's good ol' JR!" yells Striker as JR shakes the hands of a few TNA crew members in the parking lot and walks into the building.

- We get video of Magnus who is waiting in the interview room for Jim Ross. Tenay says that the interview between Jim Ross and Magnus will be right after this commercial break

- We return from commercial and see JR and Magnus shake hands as JR takes a seat. Magnus says it's great to see Jim Ross in TNA and the crowd cheer for this. Ross thanks Magnus and says he has questions for Magnus. Ross immediately cuts to the chase and asks Magnus about the injury he suffered 2 weeks ago at the hands of Samoa Joe. Magnus says he and Joe used to be friends and he didn't even know there was an issue until the attack. Magnus calls Joe a cheap shotting coward and says he accepts Joe's challenge for a match at Final Resolution. Magnus says he's about a week away from being 100% and that Joe better get ready because Magnus is coming for him.

JR is about to Magnus another question but suddenly Magnus is hit from behind. JR runs into a corner as the camera pans up to reveal Samoa Joe who stomps away at the head of Magnus and hits him in the face with the chair he was seated on. Magnus is bleeding now as Joe locks in the rear naked choke on Magnus. JR calls for assistance as the camera feed dies and we cut back to the arena.

TNA Singles Match:

Gail Kim Vs Mickie James

As Gail makes her entrance it's announced in passing that the winner of this match will earn themselves a title match on Pay Per View against Isis for the Knockouts Championship. Gail enters and waits in the ring as the music of Mickie James hits and out she comes. She walks down to the ring and jumps in as referee Brian Hebner calls for the opening bell and we're underway.

The two shove eachother as Gail takes Mickie down with an amateur takedown but Mickie rolls out of that and kicks Gail in the stomach. Mickie attempts a snap suplex but Gail is having none of that and DDT's her right in the middle of the ring. Gail pins Mickie but Mickie kicks out at two. The announcers take this time to inform us that Magnus and Samoa Joe were broken up backstage by security and that Magnus is unconscious due to blood loss and is going to a local health clinic. After that Mickie punches away at Gail and smashes her head into the top turnbuckle

Mickie is dominating here as she hits a Tornado DDT out of the corner which earns her another 2 count on Gail. Mickie climbs to the top rope and signals for a missile dropkick but misses it. Mickie is down and out as Gail pins Mickie with the inside cradle earning herself a 2 count. Gail lines Mickie up looking for a superkick but Mickie moves out of the way. Gail turns around and is hit with a rana into the middle of the ring. Mickie is lining Gail up for a Mick Kick as the match continues.

Gail rises to her feet as Mickie nails her with the Mick Kick right in the middle of the ring. Mickie falls down on top of Gail Kim as referee Brian Hebner counts to three and awards the match to Mickie James.

Mickie James defeated Gail Kim to become number 1 contender for the TNA Knockouts Championship

- We cut to the back where Team 3.D are standing by with Jeremy Borash. Borash questions Team 3.D about the main event match tonight which will see Team 3.D team with AJ Styles to take on Kurt Angle and Storm/Gunner. Bully says he hates AJ and hates having to team with him tonight. Bully says he hates AJ almost as much as Storm and Gunner. Bully says that Gunner and Storm better get used to losing to Team 3.D tonight because at the PPV it's going to be Team 3.D Vs Gunner and Storm in a straight tag team match. Devon finishes with "Oh my brother! Testify!" as the duo walk off.

- We cut to the back where Abyss and James Mitchell are walking towards the ring. Tenay informs us that it's Mr Anderson Vs Abyss on the other end of this commercial break.

TNA Singles Match:

Abyss W/ James Mitchell Vs Mr Anderson

Abyss is out first as he and James Mitchell walk out to a big negative reaction from the audience. Abyss poses in the middle of the ring and waits as Andersons music hits. Anderson doesn't come out from the ramp however as Abyss is hit from behind by Anderson who came through the crowd. Referee Earl Hebner calls for the bell as the two men brawl.

Anderson and Abyss trade punches back and forth as Anderson pokes Abyss in the eyes and bodyslams him right in the middle of the ring. Anderson bounces off the ropes and nails a knee drop to the head of Abyss before stomping him to the floor. On the floor Abyss gets the advantage tossing Anderson over the guard rail and onto the ringside seats. Abyss kicks the seats over causing them all to land on Anderson as referee Earl Hebner tries to get them back into the ring. At this point Abyss tosses a beverage at Anderson and big boots Anderson over the guardrail causing Anderson to fall onto the floor. The crowd start an Anderson chant as Abyss tosses him into the ring.

Anderson is stomped more and more as the crowd stay behind Anderson starting an "Asshole" chant. Anderson is whipped off the ropes and nailed with yet another big boot as Abyss poses and gets heavily booed by the audience. Abyss whips Anderson off looking for a Black Hole Slam but Anderson kicks Abyss and nails the Mic Check right in the middle of the ring. Both men are down but Anderson crawls over and gets a hand over Abyss. Referee Earl Hebner drops down and counts one two thr-NO! Abyss kicks out at the last minute as Anderson is in shock that Abyss kicked out.

Abyss is picked up by Anderson who signals to the audience that another Mic Check is about to be performed but as he's about to deliver Rhett Titus runs down and jumps on the apron. Anderson rushes over and knocks him down. Kenny King is on the other side but Anderson tosses him into the ring and hits a Mic Check. Anderson is clearing house as he tosses Abyss over the top rope. Ted DiBiase Jr sprints down next with a stun gun in hand and uses it on Anderson. Referee Hebner calls for the disqualification as Anderson repeatedly gets stunned by DiBiase Jr.

Rhett Titus and Kenny King begin stomping Anderson in between stun gun shots. The crowd boo this as DiBiase picks Anderson up and locks in the Million Dollar Sleeper Hold on Anderson. Borash asks them about the main event tonight as Kurt says he cannot wait to get his hands on AJ and weaken him up for tomorrow nights main event. Default Re: TNA 2013 - A New Man In Charge

-411mania.com

- TNA last night managed a 1.4 rating. A lot of insiders are feeling that TNA is on a roll currently and that ratings should improve after the introduction of TNA Showtime. Eric Bischoff is being hyped up by TNA officials as the second coming.

- Speaking of TNA Showtime, insiders say that TNA are expecting a small but decent rating for this debut episode. Anything above a 0.8 would be a win for them and a good way to build up. One thing is for sure though, the introduction of the new Friday Night Wars is an exciting time for the wrestling fans and one has to question if Bischoff will go all out on this one.

- Jim Ross debuted last night in TNA after being "retiring" from the WWE. JR is apparently quite bitter about being forced into retirement and when contacted by Bischoff he immediately joined. TNA is being praised at keeping this a surprise until the very moment that JR appeared on television.

- Here is the press release for the very first episode of TNA Showtime

Next, the music of The Great Muta hits as he makes his entrance with KAI behind him. Muta and Kai both enter the ring and are held back by referee Brian Stiffler. Bad Influence have their music hit next as they rush out. Striker goes into hype mode for them saying if they can pull a victory out tonight they surely will go down as the greatest of all time. We return from commercial to see Noam Dar already in the ring warming up. Bobby Roode makes his entrance and as he does Jeremy Borash informs us that we shouldn't change the channel because the competition is taped and that Dean Ambrose is about to defeat Jinder Mahal. Borash says we should stay here and watch a live show. As he says this Roode poses on the turnbuckle and jumps down. He allows himself to be checked for weapons by Brian Stiffler who calls for the bell soon after.

Roode and Noam lock up with Roode using his experience to take Noam down and work him over in the middle of the ring. Noam tries to get out of a headlock but can't work his way out. AJ smugly smirks and says he's beaten both of these men before and that tonight he'll beat them both at the same time. AJ tells the fans at home to bet the house on him because he isn't letting anyone take his title away from him.

- We are with Jeff Jarrett once more but he is now at the door of Eric Bischoff's office. The security guard who seems to have a mutual respect with Jarrett won't let him in. After that, Rey Jr is going to beat Dolph Ziggler" as he finishes his sentence Shelley attempts a DDT but Homicide isn't going for it and hits him with a Northern Lights Suplex earning himself a 2 count. Shelley sits up after the suplex as Homicide bounces off the ropes and delivers a lariat to the seated Shelley. This earns Homicide yet another 2 count.
