Default Re: TNA 2013 - A New Man In Charge

-411mania.com

- We open up to a shot of the McCarthey Athletics Centre as we enter the building and are welcomed by Mike Tenay, Taz and Matt Striker who all go into hype mode about tonights show. We get a quick clip from last week of Kurt Angle accusing AJ Styles of attacking him 2 months ago before a big match. We get footage of AJ denying it. We cut away from that as Tenay hypes the return of Sting and says he will talk to us later on. Music plays as Tenay says we're starting with a match.

TNA Singles Match:

Noam Dar Vs Rich Swann

The music that is playing is the generic theme of Rich Swann who makes his way out to the ring and high fives a number of fans at ringside before sliding in and waiting. The theme song of Noam Dar plays next and out he struts cockily looking into the crowd and walking down the ramp. He enters the ring and poses on the turnbuckle to a small amount of booing from the audience. Noam allows himself to be checked for weapons by Brian Hebner who calls for the bell to start this one out.

Tenay tries to hype these two men as being future big stars in TNA as they both lock up. Noam hits an arm drag on Swann but Swann hits Noam with one. Tenay, Striker and Taz discuss Sting, Hogan and Angle as Swann and Noam trade chops in the middle of the ring. Swann attempts a forearm but Noam hits him with a tornado DDT and climbs up top hitting a flipping leg drop earning himself a 2 count. Dar continues the assault whipping Swann off the ropes and dropkicking him right in the face. Dar climbs to the top rope and this time delivers a twisting splash from the top rope but still only manages a 2 count.

Swann fights back hitting multiple right hands and hitting a reverse suplex. As Dar tries to stand up an attempt at a shining wizard is made but Dar is ready for it and moves out of the way. He hurricarana's Swann as the crowd erupt into cheers. KURT ANGLE has run down the ramp and is now in the ring. He shoves Noam off the top rope and onto the floor as referee Hebner calls for the bell. Swann is thrown out of the ring as Kurt Angle calls for a microphone

Noam Dar defeated Rich Swann via disqualification

- Kurt Angle is handed a microphone and he doesn't look very happy at all as he says he didn't mean to end the great match in the ring but he wants to know who attacked him and doesn't want to wait until later. Kurt says he wants to know who injured him for 2 months before calling out Hulk Hogan.

Hulk's music plays and he walks out playing to the crowd. He poses on the ramp as the audience erupt for him and a chant of "Hulk" starts up. Hulk walks down to the ring and enters the ring before shaking the hand of Kurt and cupping his hand to his ear on all 4 sides soaking the cheers in. Hulk grabs a microphone and says he LOVES Washington which gets a nice cheer. Kurt Angle tries to get Hulk to get to the point and Hulk tells Kurt that he knows he's been waiting all week and that he does indeed have the tape. Hulk says he's seen it and that Kurt isn't going to like it. Hulk says before he shows the tape he wants AJ Styles to come out and watch the tape live and in person with him and Kurt. Hulk invites AJ out as AJ's music plays.

AJ walks out in Jeans and a T-Shirt with the TNA World Heavyweight Title over his shoulder. AJ stays on the ramp as Hulk says he wants to see AJ's reaction to this video. Hulk tells the "guys in the back" to play the tape as the video begins to play from August. We don't see Kurt Angle but we do see AJ who is seemingly in Kurt's lockeroom waiting. AJ turns the corner and we hear a beatdown on Kurt but never see Kurt. AJ emerges back into the camera's view with a steel pipe in hand which he tosses to the side. He quickly leaves the lockeroom as the video cuts out after that.

Hulk states the obvious by informing Kurt that AJ is the one who took him out. Kurt is angry in the ring as he tells AJ that he is going to snap his ankle as soon as he gets his hands on him. AJ interrupts Kurt and says he admits that he attacked Kurt. AJ says he was sick of playing second fiddle to guys like Sting, Kurt, Hulk and Hardy. AJ claims that he is the true hero of TNA and that he wanted the fans to love him as much as they love Hardy and Kurt. AJ says the fans suck and that they don't care about you unless you come from "New York" the crowd erupts into boo's as AJ tells them to "blow it out their ass" as they once again boo him. AJ says he no longer cares about the TNA audience or the TNA family because he is the TNA World Heavyweight Champion and that is all that matters to him.

AJ states that Angle can try and break his ankle but he has to catch him first. AJ says he has no obligation to fight Kurt ever and that Kurt will never receive a shot at the TNA World Heavyweight Championship whilst AJ holds it. The crowd boo as Kurt yells "ENOUGH TALK" and drops his microphone before rolling out of the ring and sprinting up the ramp. AJ flee's from Kurt as we quickly cut to commercial break.

- We return from commercial and Team 3.D are standing backstage with Jeremy Borash who mentions that coming up next we'll see Team 3.D in action against Bromans. Bully cuts Borash off and says that last week they called any team out and no team took their challenge. No team had the guts to challenge Team 3.D so Team 3.D went to TNA management and got themselves a match tonight against Bromans. Bully says they'll be "kicking it old school" because the match will be a Tables match. Bully says that he and Devon are going to kill those two clowns and says it'll be like a car crash. Bully walks off as Devon says "OH MY BROTHER! TESTIFY!" and follows him.

TNA Tables Match:

Bromans Vs Team 3.D

Bromans are out first as they cockily strut to the ring. Tenay mentions that these two shouldn't be overly confident because Team 3.D are probably going to maul them since it's their speciality match. Bromans pose on the turnbuckles as Team 3.D's music plays and out comes Team 3.D to heat from the audience. They yell at the audience and quickly run down to the ring before sliding in and brawling with Bromans. Referee Stiffler calls for a bell and we're underway.

Bully brawls with Robbie and is easily dominating him as Devon and Jessie have more of a back and forth brawl. Robbie E hits Bully in the head with a chair but Bully doesn't sell it and throws Robbie head first into the announce table before hitting him in the face with a chair. Devon throws Jessie into the ring post and whips him with a chain before tossing him into the ring and tossing a table in after him. Devon stomps away at Jessie and tosses him into the corner as we cut to Bully Ray who is clubbing away at the back of Jessie.

The brawling continues as Bully and Devon are dominating Bromans. Bully eventually starts brawling with Jessie as Devon brawls with Robbie E and it's much of the same result. Team 3.D dominate the young Bromans team as Bully Ray hits a massive powerbomb on Jessie on the outside. Bully slides into the ring as it's now 2 on 1 on Robbie E as Team 3.D absolutely destroy him whilst keeping Jessie on the floor. Bully swings a chair as hard as he can and "cleans the clock" of Robbie E who is now unconscious in the ring

Jessie is grabbed as Bully sits on the top rope. Devon places Jessie on Bully's shoulders and pulls the table in close to the corner. Devon stomps away at Robbie E as Bully Ray hits a sitdown powerbomb through the table on Jessie. Brian Stiffler calls for the bell as Jessie is unconscious on the mat. Bully is pulled out of the wreckage by Devon as the two brothers hug and celebrate in the ring.

Team 3.D defeated Bromans

- Post match as Team 3.D recover in the ring Bully is handed a microphone. He pants and says Team 3.D is the greatest tag team ever and that the challenge is still on the table. Any team with the guts to challenge Team 3.D should come and do it. Devon mentions teams like Gunner and Storm and LAX who think they're all so tough but they've never beat Team 3.D as they are right now.

Suddenly the music of LAX hits and out walks both Hernandez and Homicide with bandanas around their mouths. Instead of removing the bandanas to talk the two charge into the ring and start brawling with Team 3.D who are ready and start brawling back. Team 3.D are tired though and LAX are fresh so LAX has the upper hand and knock both men down. Hernandez and Homicide both leave the ring and toss tables into the ring. The two tables are set up as Hernandez grabs Devon and suplexes him through a table. Homicide hits a Cop Killa from the second turnbuckle through a table on Bully as LAX stand tall in the ring yelling in Spanish.

- We cut backstage where Eric Bischoff, Kenny King and Ted DiBiase Jr are all hanging out in Eric's office. Suddenly Austin Aries walks in as Eric accuses him of being rude. Aries says he doesn't care and that he was a pioneer of the X-Division. Aries says he wants an X-Division Title match at Turning Point against Alex Shelley. Eric takes a moment to think about it before saying that would be a great match. Eric books the match as Aries thanks Eric and leaves. Eric hands Kenny King a note and tells King to deliver it to Hulk. King leaves as we cut away to commercial.

TNA Television Championship Match:

Abyss (C) W/ James Mitchell Vs Ricochet

As we come back from commercial Ricochet is warming up in the ring as Tenay questions Striker as to who this man is and who he's wrestling. Striker says he has nothing on his format sheet about this as the music of Abyss plays. Tenay, Striker and Taz all say in unison "Oh lord" as Abyss walks down to the ring with James Mitchell behind him. Abyss stomps on the ramp before throwing the TNA Television Title to one side and storming the ring.

Abyss enters the ring as Ricochet immediately starts attacking Abyss. Tenay speculates that this Ricochet kid has been studying Abyss matches and says that attacking him from the start of the match probably isn't wise. Taz suggests throwing Abyss into fire or something as Ricochet goes flying over the top rope and lands head first on the mat on the outside. Abyss poses and leaves the ring before lifting Ricochet up and gullotining him on the guard rail. Abyss tosses Ricochet like a guard rail back first into the ring apron as Tenay questions why this match is continuing. Taz says that referee Earl Hebner should call for the bell but Abyss continues assaulting Ricochet.

Abyss hits a Gorilla Press Slam in the middle of the ring and bounces off the ropes hitting Ricochet with a big splash. Abyss pins Ricochet but breaks the count himself at 2. James Mitchell laughs on the outside as Abyss grabs the top turnbuckle pad and throws it out of the ring. As Abyss turns around he's hit with a dropkick from Ricochet which causes Abyss to land chest first in the exposed turnbuckle. Ricochet rolls Abyss up but Abyss kicks out at just 1 and quickly stomps Ricochet ending his small glimmer of hope.

Abyss then whipped Ricochet off the ropes and delivered a massive big boot right in the face of Ricochet. Abyss then picked up a groggy Ricochet and delivered the Black Hole Slam right in the middle of the ring. Abyss puts his boot on the chest of Ricochet as referee Earl Hebner counts to three and awards the match to Abyss.

Post match Abyss poses with his belt in the ring as James Mitchell shouts instructions at him. Abyss puts the belt over his shoulder and leaves as referees and other staff check to make sure rookie Ricochet is okay.

Abyss defeated Ricochet to retain the TNA Television Championship

- We cut to the backstage area where Kenny King is outside a door marked "Hulk Hogan" he sighs to himself and quickly knocks on the door. Hogan yells come in as the suited Kenny King enters the office and tells Hulk not to be alarmed he's just delivering a note. Hulk tells King to inform Eric Bischoff that there is a thing called the telephone and that he should use that. Hulk reads the note and says "Tell Eric that it's fine" King nods his head and leaves as Hulk goes back to typing on his computer as we cut to commercial break

- We come back from commercial as Jeff Hardy is backstage standing by with Jeremy Borash. Borash asks how Hardy feels about helping end Aces and Eights forever. Hardy said it felt great watching it all go down and that he was happy to have his part in it. Jeff says that Garrett and Wes haven't stopped hounding him for a rematch though so Jeff went and found a partner in Manik and he'll wrestle them once again tonight.

TNA Tag Team Match:

Jeff Hardy and Manik Vs Garrett Bischoff and Wes Brisco

Garrett and Wes are out first in generic ring gear to generic music. They cockily pose on the top turnbuckles before jumping off just in time to see the entrance of Manik. Manik walks down and enters the ring as referee Stiffler keeps them seperated. At this time Tenay quickly mentions directly after this match Hulk Hogan will have an announcement about tonights main event. Jeff Hardy's music plays and out he comes dancing to the ring and slapping high fives. He enters the ring as Garrett and Wes bail out and wait on the floor. Garrett eventually enters the ring and he's going to start off against Manik as referee Stiffler calls for the opening bell.

Garrett and Manik lock up as Manik gets an early advantage by hitting a drop toe hold on Garrett and delivering a leg drop on the back of Garrett's head. Garrett rolls over to Wes and tags him in to a small amount of heat from the audience. Wes slaps Manik but Manik follows up with lots of right hands before irish whipping Wes off the ropes and delivering a dropsault onto Wes. Wes is down and out as Manik tags in Jeff Hardy who punches Wes multiple times and hits a suplex right in the middle of the ring. Jeff poses on the turnbuckle as the crowd erupt for him this of course means Jeff tags Manik back in.

Manik hits Wes with a number of hip tosses but Manik makes a rookie mistake. He stands too close to Garrett and Garrett cheap shots him which allowed Wes to quickly hit him with a belly to back suplex and work him over. Garrett and Wes tag in and out taking turns on working over the former X-Division star. Garrett and Wes hit a nice double flapjack which earns Garrett a 2 count. Garrett cockily attempts a flapjack by himself but Manik gets out of it and hits him with an Enziguri. Manik is grabbed by Wes but Manik quickly dropkicks him and starts crawling towards Hardy who has his arm outstretched. Manik tags in Hardy who comes running in off the hot tag.

Hardy strikes Garrett before whipping him off the ropes and kicking him in the stomach. Hardy attempts the Twist Of Fate but Wes hits Jeff from behind. It's 2 on 1 as they attempt a double suplex but Manik quickly grabs Wes and brawls with him. Jeff takes advantage of this kicking Garrett multiple times and delivering the Twist Of Fate right in the middle of the ring. As he does this Manik tosses Wes over the top rope and follows him over with a tope con hilo. Hardy quickly climbs to the top rope, signals to the crowd and hits a Swanton Bomb for the three count and the victory.

Post match Hardy and Manik hug as the dejected duo of Garrett and Wes walk up the ramp and to the back. Hardy celebrates some more as Tenay says that Manik could learn a lot from Jeff Hardy. Striker says we're going to hear from Hogan next as we cut away

Jeff Hardy and Manik defeated Garrett Bischoff and Wes Brisco

- Hulk Hogan is in his office with a camera in front of him as he speaks about the note he received about 10 minutes ago. Hulk says he and Eric came to an agreement that the main event tonight would be between Kurt Angle and Sting. This gets a big reaction from the crowd as Hulk continues on and says that something he didn't clear with Bischoff is that if Kurt Angle wins tonight he'll get a match with AJ Styles at Turning Point for the TNA World Heavyweight Championship. Hulk wishes Kurt luck and says he hopes the fans enjoy the rest of the show

- ODB and Velvet Sky are standing by with Jeremy Borash as Borash asks why they are taking this interview together. ODB and Velvet say that tonight they got the original triple threat match changed to a handicap match. ODB and Velvet are confident that 2 on 1 they could take down Isis. Velvet admits she's afraid of Isis and about having to face her 1 on 1 in future. ODB says she'll slay the giant tonight as the two walk away. We cut to commercial as Tenay says Isis will be in action next.

TNA Handicap Match:

Isis Vs ODB and Velvet Sky

ODB and Velvet Sky are out first looking very nervous. They casually slap some high fives at ringside with the fans before entering the ring. Next the 6'9 240 pound Isis walks down to the ring with an intense look on her face. She climbs up onto the apron before climbing over the top rope. ODB and Velvet look at eachother and charge Isis as referee Earl Hebner calls for the bell.

ODB and Velvet repeatedly punch away at Isis but they can't even drop Isis down to 1 knee. Isis punches Velvet in the face before turning her attention to ODB and tossing her to the floor. Isis does a power pose in the ring as Velvet backs away from her. Isis whips Velvet off the ropes and big boots her right in the face. Isis picks Velvet up and Powerbombs her right in the middle of the ring.

Isis attempts a pin but ODB is in the ring and punches Isis twice on her back but Isis turns around and Chokeslams ODB right in the middle of the ring. Isis hooks the leg of ODB as referee Earl Hebner drops down and counts for the one two and three.

Post match ODB and Velvet are down and out as Isis leaves the ring. The announcers speculate on who in the Knockouts divison could beat someone this big and powerful. Striker says that he thinks a lot of men would struggle against someone as big as Isis. Taz mentions back in the day Chyna dominated and was "Half the size of Isis" ODB and Velvet leave the ring under their own strength as Velvet grips her TNA Knockouts Championship worringly.

Isis defeated ODB and Velvet Sky

- We cut backstage where Ted DiBiase in his casual wear is sitting backstage eating a meal. We see Hulk Hogan walk in and start serving himself up some food. Ted finishes and walks over to Hulk informing him that Eric runs wrestling and that Hulk is just an old washed up has been. Hulk chuckles and says last week Ted said he could beat any experienced wrestler. Ted nods and says he could and he's going to destroy Sting at Turning Point. Hulk replies that he has booked Ted in a match and it's up next. Hulk says Ted will get a real chance to test himself tonight against a mystery opponent. Ted angrily says he doesn't want to wrestle but Hulk threatens to fire him if he doesn't. Ted walks off in a huff as Hulk continues serving up food onto his plate.

- We cut to another part of the arena where James Mitchell is standing next to Borash. Borash asks why Mitchell has requested interview time as Mitchell says Abyss wants to feed on someone. Mitchell says Abyss enjoyed being thrown into the thumbtacks very much last week, So much that Mitchell has been sent here to challenge Magnus on behalf of Abyss. "TNA Television Championship Match at Turning Point between Abyss and Magnus?" asks Borash as Mitchell says "That's 100% correct" Mitchell walks away as we cut to commercial break.

TNA Singles Match:

?? Vs Ted DiBiase Jr

We come back from commercial as Ted DiBiase Jr is in the ring in a pair of jeans and sneakers he has a microphone in hand and says he wasn't expecting a match tonight but he'll beat whatever washed up legend that Hulk has booked him against. DiBiase goes to continue but KEN SHAMROCK walks out to some applause from the audience. Tenay is going nuts claiming Shamrock is the first TNA champion. Shamrock is in full ring gear as he enters the ring and allows himself to be checked for weapons by referee Brian Hebner. Hebner clears Shamrock and calls for the opening bell.

Shamrock immediately takes down Ted Jr who wasn't expecting Shamrock to use his shoot skills and attempts to punch away at his face. Ted blocks the punches as Shamrock quickly locks in an Armlock but DiBiase is too close to the ropes and simply puts his good arm on the ropes therefore breaking the hold. Shamrock allows DiBiase to stand up but as he does Shamrock punches away at the head of DiBiase. DiBiase ducks a punch as Shamrock nails referee Brian Hebner right in the head with a punch. This allows Ted DiBiase Jr to attempt a kick on Shamrock but Shamrock ducks it and hits a belly to belly suplex. He pins Ted Jr but there is no referee.

Shamrock attempts to wake Brian Hebner up as Ted Jr lowblows Shamrock from behind and tosses him to the floor. Ted cautiously beats Shamrock down before grabbing a chair. He swings the chair at Shamrock as hard as he can but Shamrock ducks. As Ted Jr turns around he smacks a running Shamrock directly in the face with the chair. Ted Jr raises the chair in his hands as we cut to Ken Shamrock who is bleeding out of his forehead. Taz says that the chairshot was brutal and that Shamrock definitely isn't leaving Washington without a concussion. Ted Jr rolls Shamrock into the ring and pins him. Referee Brian Hebner is exhausted and clearly in pain but this pin attempt only earns Ted Jr a 2 count.

Ted can't believe it as he argues with Brian Hebner who can't even get to his feet. Ted Jr is grabbed from behind by a bloody Shamrock who locks him in the Ankle Lock. Shamrock hasn't got a lot of strength to really lock it in but Ted Jr is still in pain. Ted gets out of it repeatedly kicking Shamrock in the head before picking him up and hitting the Dream Street on Shamrock. Ted locks in the Million Dollar Dream as referee Hebner lifts the arm up three times. He declares Shamrock as unconscious and awards the match to Ted DiBiase Jr.

Post match Ted DiBiase Jr celebrates in the ring posing on all 4 turnbuckles. He leaves the ring and walks up the ramp as referees and other TNA staff tend to both Brian Hebner and Ken Shamrock. We cut to commercial break with the announcers questioning if we'll see the same happen to Sting at Turning Point.

Ted DiBiase Jr defeated Ken Shamrock

- We return from a commercial where a sweating Ted DiBiase Jr has entered the office of Eric Bischoff. He's greeted by both Eric Bischoff and Kenny King. Ted sips a water as Eric says THAT was the reason he brought Ted to TNA. Eric proclaims Ted DiBiase Jr as "the chosen man to take TNA forward" a very proud Ted Jr sits back on the couch as we cut away.

- The music of Bobby Roode plays as he walks down to the ring and enters. He takes the time to soak in the audience who are booing him as he is handed a microphone. He says tonight he has a match but before the match he wanted to talk to the people. He says everywhere he goes all the cretins in the audience are asking if he'll ever wrestle Austin Aries again. "Not likely" says Roode. "I'm better than him and I've proven it time and time again. Nobody can beat m..." before Roode can finish his sentence the music of Samoa Joe has started playing through the arena

TNA Singles Match:

Bobby Roode Vs Samoa Joe

Joe walks down as the crowd are chanting "Joe" at him. Joe enters the ring and grabs the microphone of Roode. Joe asks the audience if they care about what Bobby Roode has to say tonight and the crowd all yell "no" this results in an embarrassed Bobby Roode punching Joe in the face starting the match.

Roode immediately starts dominating Joe clubbing him down and stomping away at him but the crowd gets behind Joe and Joe now has the advantage. He chops Roode on the chest as Roode takes another one. Joe suddenly goes crazy chopping Roode 9 or 10 times on the chest. Tenay points out the blood coming from Roode's chest as Joe stomps him multiple times and performs the facewash on Roode. Roode is down in the corner as Joe poses in the middle of the ring and soaks in the applause and the chants of "Joe"

Joe turns around and continues to work down on Roode but Roode quickly attempts to get the advantage and manages to do so. He charges at Joe's bad leg and knocks him over whilst working down Joe's foot from last week. Joe isn't having any of that however as he kicks Roode into the corner and charges in but nobody is there. Roode rolls Joe up with his feet on the ropes but Joe has the strength to kick out at 2 which comes as a shock to Striker who says he doesn't think he's ever seen anyone kick out whilst feet were on the ropes. Joe starts his come back hitting multiple kicks (With his good leg) on Roode. Roode is in the corner as Joe charges in and this time he nails it.

Joe sets Roode up on the top turnbuckle and now has him in the Musclebuster position. Joe delivers the Musclebuster right in the middle of the ring before playing to the crowd a little. Joe locks in the rear naked choke as Roode quickly fades and submits right in the middle of the ring. Referee Brian Stiffler awards Joe the match as Joe kind of hobbles around the ring.

Roode rolls out to the floor as the announcers say that it's a shame Roode lost here tonight after such a good showing at Bound For Glory. They go into hype mode for Joe saying him managing to beat someone as talented as Roode with an injured foot is a really good effort.

Samoa Joe defeated Bobby Roode

- We cut to a hype video package which is hyping tonights main event between Kurt Angle and Sting. We get highlights of their past matches from shows such as Bound For Glory 2007 and Hardcore Justice 2011. We cut back to the announcers who say this match is next. Tenay thinks Angle will win but Striker disagrees saying he believes Sting will win. Taz proclaims he doesn't care who wins because it's going to be a great match anyway

- AJ Styles is backstage in a suit and tie as Borash is standing by with him. AJ is asked the question of why he took out Angle and AJ questions JB asking if it really isn't obvious to him. AJ said he was sick of being at the back of the line behind guys like Angle, Bully, Hardy and Sting. AJ says he made TNA and that Angle just capitalized on his good work. Borash asks if AJ cares about the fans anymore and AJ replies with "I care when the fans feed my ego, that's it. I don't care about them in general though, no" AJ walks away as we cut to commercial

TNA Singles Match:

Kurt Angle Vs Sting

We return from commercial and AJ is seated at ringside with the TNA World Heavyweight Title placed infront of him on the announcers table. AJ says he's here to watch Kurt tonight as the music of Kurt Angle plays and out he comes. Kurt looks focused on the task at hand as Tenay and Striker speculate if Kurt will have ring rust or any nagging injuries. Kurt poses on the turnbuckle whilst glaring at AJ who glares back. Kurt warms up in the corner as the music of Sting plays and out walks Sting from the backstage area. He receives much applause also as he enters the ring and poses on the turnbuckle. Sting enters his own corner as referee Earl Hebner calls for the opening bell.

Kurt and Sting circle the ring as the two shake hands and quickly lock up. Kurt takes Sting down with a double leg takedown and outwrestles him. Sting is quickly put in a pinning position but Sting kicks out at 1. Kurt keeps a hold of Sting and attempts a German Suplex but Sting holds onto the ropes causing Kurt to roll back. Kurt runs at Sting but Sting kicks him in the stomach twice and delivers a suplex right in the middle of the ring. Sting attempts a pin but Kurt quickly kicks out at 2. Sting whips Kurt off the ropes and hits him with a back body drop. Sting quickly leaps off the ropes and hits a knee drop on Kurt causing him to roll around in agony on the mat.

Kurt Angle eventually starts fighting back hitting Sting with multiple right hands and delivering a belly to belly suplex on Sting. Kurt doesn't give Sting a chance to recover and tosses him into the corner before lifting him to the top rope. Angle takes his time but eventually hits a top rope suplex off the top rope right into the middle of the ring. Both Angle and Sting are down as referee Earl Hebner begins counting them out. Both Angle and Sting are up at a 4 count as they trade blows in the middle of the ring. Angle bounces off the ropes and hitting Sting with a running forearm which knocks Sting down. Angle attempts a pin but only gets a 2 count. Angle locks in the Ankle Lock as Sting is right in the middle of the ring and can't reach the ropes.

Sting turns around and kicks Angle into the corner. Sting quickly rises up and runs in attempting the Stinger Splash but Angle was playing possum. Angle hits the Angle Slam on Sting before slowly crawling over and pinning Sting. Angle hooks the leg as referee Earl Hebner drops down and counts. One...Two...Thr...NO! Sting kicks out as Tenay says it's because Angle took so long to pin him. Angle pulls the straps down and locks in the Ankle Lock right in the middle of the ring again. Sting can't turn over as Angle wrenches it in. AJ begs Sting not to submit on commentary as Sting once again rolls out and kicks Angle into the corner. Sting hits the Stinger Splash on Angle and attempts the Scorpion Deathdrop but Angle gets out of that and hits another Angle Slam right in the middle of the ring. Kurt rushes the pin this time as referee Earl Hebner drops down for the one, two and the three.

Kurt Angle defeated Sting

- Post match a tired Angle celebrates in the ring but as he rises to his feet he's met by AJ Styles who has the TNA World Heavyweight Title over his shoulder. Angle pushes AJ's face as AJ swings the World Title at Kurt. Kurt ducks as Angle takes him down. The two begin brawling in the ring as security rush down but they can't stop the two. Kurt takes AJ down again and starts hitting him but Security break them up. Kurt breaks free again as he and AJ trade more punches in a sea of security. "THIS IS MAYHEM! SEE YOU ALL NEXT WEEK!" shouts Tenay as we cut away from the show.

Default Re: TNA 2013 - A New Man In Charge

-411mania.com

- TNA managed a massive 1.4 rating last night a much better improvement over the 1.2 they received last week. TNA and Dixie Carter are now confident that Eric Bischoff is the man to take them forward. The highest rated segments were the Kurt Angle/Sting main event and the segment between AJ Styles, Hulk Hogan and Kurt Angle. Eric Bischoff was said to be beaming with pride at the 1.4 and now wants to maintain it.

- TNA attempted to take shots at the WWE on impactwrestling.com earlier this week. The general consensus within the internet wrestling community is that TNA did something stupid and have made fun of TNA for trying such a tactic. Eric Bischoff allegedly has shook this off and is only more motivated to work against WWE now. Rumour says Eric feels this is all or nothing for his wrestling career because he surely won't be welcome back in WWE

- An amusing story out of the WWE camp which will surely enrage Bischoff is earlier this week Randy Orton was apart of a local radio show advertising an upcoming House Show. He was asked about TNA and if Vince McMahon was worried about Eric Bischoff controlling this new promotion. Randy's reply was simple "I don't think Vince even knows TNA exists. I doubt he see's TNA in the same league as us and quite frankly, I feel the same"

- Brooke Hogan was recently released from her TNA deal. Brooke had randomly stopped appearing on TV a couple of months back and was finally released from her deal to focus on her fiance and life with him.

- Here is the upcoming press release for this weeks edition of TNA Impact

Default Re: TNA 2013 - A New Man In Charge

-411mania.com

TNA Impact Results:

- The show opens as we get a view of the Ryan Center before cutting inside to the arena where we pan the audience. Mike Tenay, Matt Striker and Taz welcome us to the show before going into hype mode for tonights show. Abyss and AJ Styles are going to team up to take on Kurt Angle and Magnus. We'll also witness Bobby Roode taking on Samoa Joe tonight.

- As Tenay goes into some hype for Hulk Hogan the music of Ted DiBiase hits as he begins walking down to the ring. Behind him are Eric Bischoff and Kenny King who look very happy to be here tonight. The three heels get booed as DiBiase smirks and is handed a microphone. King and Bischoff enter also as DiBiase begins to speak into the microphone.

DiBiase first of all notes that he hates Rhode Island and all the people here. DiBiase asks Bischoff is Rhode Island is even an island as the crowd boo's DiBiase for his bad joke. DiBiase gets down to business saying last week he destroyed Ken Shamrock and that he and Bischoff got one over on Hulk. DiBiase says that Sting has just 9 days before the EXACT same thing happens to him. DiBiase proclaims that he is younger, better and stronger then Sting before handing the microphone off to Eric.

Eric sarcastically says he loves Rhode Island because they love him. He gets booed as Bischoff sends Kenny King outside the ring to "contain" a ringside fan. King and the fan argue as Eric continues on saying that he was just kidding and that Rhode Island sucks. "Speaking of sucks" says Bischoff "Hulk Hogan, I'd like to talk to you. Come on out!" Hulk's music doesn't play right away but as Eric invites Hulk out a second time the music of the legend plays and out comes Hulk who cups his hand to his ear before talking into the mic.

Hulk asks why Eric is complaining about Rhode Island. Hulk says he has great memories here which gets a nice pop from the audience. Hulk asks Eric what he wants as Eric explains that he reads impactwrestling.com and that he heard Hulk had a "surprise" for him. Eric says he wants to know what it is as Hulk contemplates telling him. A smile appears on Hulk's face as he explains he was going to wait until later but he'll do it now. Hulk says Ted DiBiase Jr has a match at PPV but Eric's other "stooge" doesn't. Both Eric and Ted look at Kenny King as Hulk says that's right, Kenny King. Hulk says that he would love to see Eric's little group all lose at Turning Point so Hulk booked a match without Eric's clearance.

Eric attempts to protest this decision as Hulk questions Eric as to whether or not he wants to know who the opponent is. Eric sighs and says "Sure, why the hell not?" as Hulk says "Come on out!" the lights dim a little as "Similar Creatures" plays and out comes Jeff Hardy with his facepaint on. He and Hulk shake hands as Jeff is given a microphone. Eric, King and Ted aren't looking happy as Jeff says that they should be upset because Hardy will kick King's ass at Turning Point for Hulk.

Jeff's music plays as he and Hulk walk to the back together. Eric, King and Ted have a very animated discussion in the ring before walking up the ramp and leaving. We cut to the announcers who hype King Vs Hardy at the PPV and give us more main event hype for tonight as we cut to commercial break.

TNA Singles Match:

Austin Aries Vs Greg Marasciulo

As we return from commercial Greg Marasciulo who hasn't been seen in TNA since Bound For Glory is warming up in the ring. Christy Hemme quickly announces him as the music of Austin Aries plays and out he comes to a nice positive reaction from the audience. He walks down to the ring quickly before jumping into the ring and posing on the turnbuckle. He jumps down and allows referee Brian Stiffler to check him. Once Stiffler finds nothing he calls for the bell to start the match.

Aries and Marasciulo lock up with the much more experienced Aries easily taking the early advantage. He hits a big suplex on Marasciulo before climbing to the top rope and hitting a missile dropkick on Greg. Aries attempts the brainbuster early but Marasciulo is having none of that and hits a suplex of his own. Marasciulo hits a belly to belly suplex on Aries causing him to roll to the floor. Marasciulo gets a little run up and leaps over the top rope hitting Aries with a clothesline on the floor. Aries is down and grabbing at his throat as Marasiculo gets up, high fives a ringside fan and tosses Aries back in.

Marasciulo climbs to the top rope and hits a flying headbutt but Aries kicks out at 2. Marasciulo whips Aries to the corner and runs in after him but Aries gets himself up and hits a Hurricarana on Marasciulo from the middle rope. Aries follows this up with a running neck snap and climbs to the top rope delivering an elbow drop which earns him a 2 count. Aries follows this up with a number of kicks to the chest of Marasciulo before once again picking him up but this time he delivers a belly to back suplex right in the middle of the ring. Aries climbs to the top rope as the crowd erupt into cheers.

Aries hits a 450 Splash from the top rope as he rolls out of the pinning attempt and grabs at his ribs. Adrenaline sets in as Aries quickly picks Marasciulo up and has him in position for the Brainbuster. Marasciulo tries to fight it but Aries delivers it perfectly before slowly crawling over to Marasciulo and putting an arm over him for the one, two and three. Austin Aries wins a very hot opener on this edition of TNA Impact.

Austin Aries defeated Greg Marasciulo

- Austin Aries walks up the ramp high fiving fans and celebrating his victory. He gets to the top of the ramp and poses but he's quickly hit with the X-Division Title from behind by Alex Shelley. Shelley hits the downed Aries with the title again before picking him up and LAUNCHING HIM off the stage and onto the concrete. EMT's and other staff rush to the scene as Alex Shelley evily smiles and raises the X-Division Title over his head as the crowd boo him

- Samoa Joe is standing backstage with Jeremy Borash who hypes their match tonight. Joe interrupts and says last week he beat Roode clean in the middle of the ring and now Roode wants a rematch. Joe says he usually wouldn't grant such requests but says Roode is a former World Champion and deserves a shot. Joe tells Roode to adequately prepare for this one because it's going to be a war.

TNA Singles Match:

Isis Vs ODB

ODB rushes out first as she high fives the fans at ringside and takes a swig from her flask. She enters the ring and stands in the corner as the music of the 6'9 Isis hits and out walks Isis looking focused on the task at hand. She poses on the ramp before climbing over the top rope and immediately attacking ODB.

Isis is dominating ODB early as she whips her off the ropes and big boots her right in the face. ODB is grabbing at her face as Isis quickly picks ODB up and delivers a pumphandle drop right in the middle of the ring. Isis does a power stance in the ring as the crowd boo her. Isis doesn't care and continues the beatdown

Isis stomps away at ODB before throwing her into the corner and choking her with her boot. ODB gets out of this position and hits Isis twice before bouncing off the ropes and attempting a clothesline but Isis is having none of it and clubs ODB in the back of the head knocking her down.

Isis grabs ODB by the throat before signalling with her other hand that it's time for a Chokeslam. ODB tries to fight it off but Isis lifts her up and hits a Chokeslam right in the middle of the ring. Isis puts her foot on the chest of ODB as referee Brian Hebner counts to three and awards the match to Isis who leaves the ring and walks up the ramp quickly as the announcers question what is next for Isis

Kenny King and Ted DiBiase Jr are also in the room as Eric Bischoff tells Kenny King to go and inform Velvet Sky that Isis will be challenging for the Knockouts Title at Turning Point. Kenny King nods his head and leaves as Eric informs Ted DiBiase Jr that Ted is going to have a match tonight also. The two begin discussing how it will be a great warm up match as we cut away to commercial

- We return from commercial as Bad Influence are standing backstage with Jeremy Borash. The duo talk about Gunner and James Storm saying that they lost at Bound For Glory and they shouldn't even have a rematch. Borash asks about LAX tonight saying that Bad Influence may not even wrestle Gunner and Storm at Turning Point. Daniels says that they're beating LAX tonight and he hates how TNA is against Bad Influence. Daniels claims LAX shouldn't have a title shot tonight either.

TNA World Tag Team Championship Match:

Bad Influence (C) Vs Latin American Xchange

LAX are out first as they walk down to the ring with their bandana's over their faces. They enter the ring and pose on the turnbuckles to a nice reaction from the audience. Bad Influence are out next with the TNA World Tag Team Titles around their waists. They walk down to the ring and also pose on both turnbuckles but receive a negative reaction from the audience. Daniels and Kazarian yell at the audience for not cheering them before jumping off the turnbuckles and allowing themselves to be checked for weapons by Brian Hebner

LAX weren't messing around early on as Homicide and Hernandez took turns dominating Christopher Daniels and working him over in the ring. Homicide brawled with Daniels on the outside of the ring early on and it was all Homicide in the early going on. This was displayed best when Daniels was slammed on the ramp and Homicide followed it up with an elbow drop right on the ramp. Daniels was thrown back in the ring as he rolled around in agony. He was quickly grabbed by Homicide who tossed him into the corner and kicked away at his torso. Hernandez was tagged in as he began a big run up and attempted a clothesline in the corner but Daniels got the boot up and Hernandez ran into the boot.

The hurt Daniels tags in Kazarian who quickly rushes in and continues the beatdown on Hernandez with multiple stomps and kicks to the leg and torso. Kazarian hits a nice suplex on Hernandez before climbing to the top rope and delivering a top rope knee drop. Kazarian mocks Homicide who tries to enter the ring but is stopped by referee Brian Hebner. Kazarian chokes the life out of Hernandez for a good 10-15 seconds until referee Hebner turns around just in time to see Kazarian tag in Daniels. Daniels rushes into the ring but is met by two strong right hands from Hernandez who springs off the ropes and hits a shoulder block on Daniels.

Kazarian rushes into the ring as it's mayhem in the ring. Homicide tackles Kazarian as the two brawl in the ring and roll to the floor. Hernandez grabs Daniels but Daniels pushes him into referee Brian Hebner causing Hebner to collapse in the corner. Hernandez hits the Border Toss right in the middle of the ring and attempts a pin but Hebner is out. TEAM 3.D rush out at this point and wait behind Hernandez. Hernandez turns around and is hit with the 3.D right in the middle of the ring. Homicide gets free of Kazarian and is also hit with a 3.D right in the middle of the ring. Devon throws Daniels on top of Hernandez as referee Brian Hebner is woken up by Bully Ray. A clearly hurt Brian Hebner counts to three and awards the match to Bad Influence.

Post match Team 3.D walk up the ramp pleased with their efforts. Bad Influence celebrate their first title defense in the ring as Tenay questions how they can celebrate this win when Team 3.D are the ones who won them the match. We cut to commercial as LAX recover in the ring and they look quite angry.

Bad Influence defeated LAX to retain the TNA World Tag Team Titles

- We return from commercial as LAX are in Hulk Hogan's office. Hulk is trying to calm them down as LAX demand a match with Team 3.D tonight. Hulk says he can't do that but says he'll book LAX against Team 3.D at Turning Point in a Tables Match.

- We receive a video package hyping the return of Chris Sabin. We see his career highlights but about midway through the music of Revolution X plays and Anarquia and Chavo interrupt. Chavo walks down to the ring with Anarquia and says nobody cares about the return of Chris Sabin tonight. Chavo says he's going to hurt Sabin again and calls him out. "Hail Sabin" plays as Sabin walks out

TNA Singles Match:

Chavo Guerrero W/ Anarquia Vs Chris Sabin

Chris Sabin walks out geared up and ready to go. He looks quite unhappy that his video package was interrupted but he still high fives some fans and enters the ring. He poses in the middle of the ring to a nice reaction from the audience and a small "Sabin" chant. Referee Stiffler gets Chavo into the ring and calls for the bell.

Sabin and Chavo lock up in the middle of the ring as Sabin is outwrestled early on by Chavo. Chavo snapmares Sabin over and locks in a chinlock on Sabin. Sabin struggles but eventually finds his way out of it and whips Chavo off the ropes nailing him with a dropkick. Sabin baseball slides Chavo to the floor as Anarquia tends to him and helps him up. Sabin bounces off the ropes and hits a suicide dive onto both Anarquia and Chavo as the crowd erupts into cheers for the death defying stunt. Striker says you won't see this type of action anywhere else as a "Sabin" chant breaks out in the arena. Sabin throws Chavo into the ring and delivers an Enziguri to the seated Chavo which earns him a 2 count.

Sabin continues dominating for a little bit until Anarquia grabs the foot of Sabin distracting him and allowing Chavo to hit Sabin in the back of the head and work him over in the corner. Chavo distracts referee Stiffler as Anarquia chokes Sabin in the corner for a short while. Chavo runs into the corner and knees Sabin before posing on the turnbuckle and earning himself yet another negative reaction. Chavo picks Sabin up and hits the triple suplex in tribute to his Uncle Eddie Guerrero. Chavo goes up top presumably for the frog splash but Sabin is up there with him and quickly hits a Superplex into the middle of the ring. Sabin gets his arm over the chest of Chavo but only earns himself a 2 count.

Anarquia has the referee distracted as Chavo has a chain in the ring. Chavo swings the chain but Sabin ducks and picks Chavo up. Magnus says he agrees to the match and informs Borash that he'll warm up his fist on Abyss' face tonight.

- We cut backstage where Ted DiBiase Jr is walking towards the ring. Tenay informs us that Ted DiBiase Jr will be in action on the other side of this commercial break.

TNA Tag Team Match:

Jeff Hardy and Manik Vs Kenny King and Ted DiBiase Jr

As we return from commercial break the music of Ted DiBiase Jr hits as he walks out with Kenny King. The two walk down to the ring and enter bullying referee Earl Hebner. Earl yells back at them as the music of Jeff Hardy plays and out he walks with Manik. The two walk down to the ring and pose on the turnbuckles to a big pop from the audience. Hardy jumps down off the top turnbuckle and takes a spot on the apron as referee Hebner calls for the bell.

Ted DiBiase Jr starts out against Manik as Manik goes in for a lock up but DiBiase knows it's coming and kicks him hard in the torso. DiBiase attempts a neckbreaker on Manik but Manik gets out of it and hits a beautiful rana on DiBiase. Manik tags in Hardy who climbs to the top rope and hits a missile dropkick on DiBiase for a two count. Hardy whips DiBiase off the ropes and hits a dropkick in the middle of the ring. Hardy tags in Manik who immediately bounces off the ropes and hits Ted with a Shining Wizard causing Ted to roll out of the ring and to the floor. Manik and DiBiase talk on the floor as Manik and Hardy both rush out and throw them back into the ring.

This is where DiBiase got the better of Manik as King and DiBiase knock Manik down and work him down. Hebner gets King back into the corner but DiBiase hits a neckbreaker earning himself a 2 count. DiBiase picks Manik up and hits a backbreaker on him earning himself yet another 2 count. Manik attempts to struggle to the corner to tag Jeff in but can't reach and is hit with an elbow drop by Kenny King who has ran into the ring. As referee Hebner attempts to get King back into the corner DiBiase low blows Manik and attempts to hit him with a stalling suplex right in the middle of the ring. As DiBiase attempts to deliver the suplex Manik turns it into a crossbody earning himself a 2 count.

Manik quickly crawls over to his own corner and tags in Jeff Hardy who is more then ready for action. Kenny King quickly blind tags in DiBiase and attempts to cut Hardy off but Hardy hits a big clothesline on King. DiBiase is whipped into the corner as Manik gets down on his hands and knees allowing Hardy to leap at DiBiase in the corner. DiBiase falls in the corner as Hardy hits the Twist Of Fate on Manik. Roode walks out and starts yelling at the audience for them chanting about Joe. He enters the ring and immediately begins fighting with Joe. Referee Brian Stiffler calls for the bell and this one is underway.

The two trade chops with eachother with Joe having the clear advantage. Roodes chest is bleeding as Joe forearms him multiple times and comes off the ropes hitting Roode with a massive lariat. Joe runs off the ropes and hits a running senton on Roode for a two count. Roode wants none of Joe and attempts to leave the ring but Joe grabs a hold of Roode and hits him with a belly to back suplex right in the middle of the ring. Joe locks in an STF as Roode tries to reach for the ropes but can't. The two struggle for position as Roode manages to put one arm on the ropes causing Joe to break the hold.

Joe continues dominating a little more hitting an exploder suplex on Roode earning himself a 2 count but eventually Roode manages to get something going for him working Joe down with multiple kicks. Roode locks in a front face lock which causes Joe to fade fast. Referee Stiffler drops the arm twice but Joe is still alive in the match and holds on during the third drop. He elbows Roode twice in the stomach and comes off the ropes attempting another Lariat but Roode is having none of that and attempts the Spinebuster on Joe but he can't get Joe up for it. Joe headbutts Roode multiple times and hits another LARIAT right in the middle of the ring. Joe pins Roode but Roode kicks out at two to the shock of the audience.

Joe whips Roode into the corner and places Roode on the top turnbuckle. He gets Roode in the Muscle Buster position but Roode drops out from the back and quickly rolls Joe up. Roode has the tights hooked as referee Stiffler counts to two but Joe kicks out. Roode whips Joe off the ropes and attempts another Spinebuster but Joe counters out of it. Default Re: TNA 2013 - A New Man In Charge

-411mania.com

- TNA ratings dropped significantly last night receiving just a 1.2 after receiving a 1.4 the week prior. It's suggested that TNA ratings go up and down each week due to sports on other channels. If an interesting game is on obviously TNA ratings will take a hit but Eric Bischoff is said to be happy to still be getting 1.2's despite this.

- Hulk Hogan appeared on local Rhode Island news this week and did a 10 minute interview talking about TNA and the new changes. Hulk said that Panda were smart and gave Eric some money to work with and this has moved the needle positively. Hogan stated that there is a big announcement coming up and that TNA has every intention in competing with WWE in the near future.

- impactwrestling.com announced a new match for TNA's Turning Point. The match announced is going to be a singles match between Bobby Roode and Samoa Joe.

- Noam Dar is receiving his current push in TNA because Eric Bischoff is allegedly very high on him. Noam impressed Eric at House Shows and on Xplosion tapings before moving to the main roster. Insiders say that Noam wants to have good matches and be a good character which is a refreshing view in TNA.

TNA Impact Wrestling Results:

- The show opens up as Mike Tenay, Taz and Matt Striker greet us and welcome us to Impact. We get highlights of last weeks main event tag team match. After that we cut to Jeremy Borash who says it's time for an interview and tonight he's going to interview a man who is in the TNA Turning Point main event. Borash introduces TNA World Heavyweight Champion AJ Styles to the audience as the lights dim and "Evil Ways" plays and out walks AJ Styles in a suit and tie with the TNA World Heavyweight Championship over his shoulder. He struts down to the ring and enters before putting his arm around Borash and being handed the microphone.

AJ says to Borash that he knows what he's going to ask. "Yes" replies AJ, "I will kick Kurt Angles ass at PPV and retire him for the TNA fans who are sick of seeing him!" this gets a negative reaction as AJ smugly smiles and raises the TNA World Title above his head. Borash cuts AJ off and says he wants to know why AJ took out Magnus last week if AJ was confident in his own ability. AJ shrugs his shoulders and says he had nothing to do with that and that it was Abyss' move. AJ claims it was sweet beating down Kurt Angle though and says that Kurt can expect another beating this Sunday at Turning Point. "KURT ANGLE SUCKS" yells AJ as the music of Kurt Angle plays.

The Olympic Gold Medalist walks out in his wrestling gear with a microphone in hand. He stands on the stage and tells AJ he talks too much and should leave. AJ says he isn't leaving and that if Kurt wants him out of the ring so badly then Kurt should get AJ out of the ring. Kurt smirks and rushes down to the ring as Borash leaves the ring. Kurt enters the ring as AJ swings the World Title at him but Kurt ducks it and hits AJ with a right hand. Kurt punches away at AJ but AJ fights back and it's now a more even fight. TNA Security rush down to the ring and break the pair up as Kurt Angle gets ahold of a microphone and says on Sunday he's walking out as World Champion. We cut to commercial with a recovering AJ Styles being held down by two security guards.

TNA Singles Match:

Chris Sabin Vs Petey Williams

As we come back from commercial the music of Petey Williams hits as Mike Tenay says that tonight is starting out with some X-Division action. Petey flexes his muscles on the top rope and jumps down as "HAIL SABIN" hits and out walks the former TNA World Heavyweight Champion. He high fives multiple fans at ringside before sliding into the ring and posing in the middle of it. He nods his head at referee Earl Hebner who calls for the bell to start the match.

Sabin and Petey lock up in the middle of the ring with Sabin hitting a side headlock takedown but Petey quickly gets out of this and head scissors Sabin. Sabin turns this into a quick roll up earning himself a 2 count. Petey attempts a kick on Sabin but Sabin grabs it, spins Petey around and dropkicks him in the back of the head. Petey is on the mat as Sabin climbs to the top rope and plays to the crowd obviously setting Petey up for a big move. Petey slowly gets to his feet and turns around but as Sabin leaps Petey jumps out of the way causing Chris Sabin to crash and burn on the mat.

Petey stomps Sabin a few times and chokes him which referee Earl Hebner quickly counts for. Petey breaks the hold at 3 and picks Sabin up hitting him with a scoop slam. At this point Noam Dar walks out and starts watching from the stage. Petey hits a Brainbuster DDT before climbing to the top rope and hitting a flipping legdrop on Sabin. Chris Sabin has won the opening match of Impact.

Post match Sabin celebrates and points at Noam Dar who simply claps his hands and leaves, walking to the back. Tenay questions whether it's mutual respect or if Noam is scouting Sabin for Turning Point. Striker suggests it could be both as we cut to the back

Chris Sabin defeated Petey Williams

- We cut to the office of Eric Bischoff who is addressing both Kenny King and Ted DiBiase Jr. Bischoff says last week they both lost. Eric focuses on Kenny King saying King took the fall last week and that tonight it's going to be Kenny King Vs Manik. Eric informs Ted that he has the night off to prepare for Turning Point.

- Alex Shelley is backstage with Jeremy Borash who questions him about the incident last week in which Shelley threw Aries off the stage. Shelley says he's not in TNA to make any friends and that he wants to win at any cost. If that means throwing someone off a stage he's all for it. Shelley is informed that Aries isn't here this week but will be at Turning Point. Shelley says this is good and that he'll beat Aries at Turning Point and look towards his next challenger.

TNA Singles Match:

Devon is out first alone as Matt Striker makes note that Hulk Hogan banned interference in this match. Devon enters and raises both arms in the air on the turnbuckle as the crowd boo him. Next LAX's theme plays and out walks Hernandez. He walks down to the ring, enters and the two immediately begin brawling. Referee Brian Hebner calls for the bell and the match begins

The domination from Devon continued as he beats Hernandez up and throws him to the floor. Devon smashes Hernandez into the announce table before throwing him into the guardrail and chopping away at him. Devon tosses him into the ring post and attempts a piledriver on the floor. Hernandez flips Devon over though and Devon lands back first on the floor. Hernandez picks Devon up on his shoulders and rolls him back into the ring. Devon begs off and begs for time out as Hernandez puts the boots to him and drags him out of the corner before whipping him off the ropes and hitting a massive clothesline.

- TNA officials are singing the praises of Eric Bischoff once again after this weeks Impact managed a 1.4 rating. TNA officials are excited about the small growth that Eric has given TNA. TNA are looking for these numbers to result in Pay Per View buys though which will be tested at TNA Turning Point this Sunday.

- Apparently the end segment of Impact last night which featured Sting lighting a fire in the shape of a crow cost the company 50,000 dollars for safety experts and other crew. It looked great on television but many insiders are questioning whether or not it was money well spent.

- TNA announced on impactwrestling.com today that they have re signed with Spike TV on a 2 year deal. This will see TNA air on Spike TV until the year 2015. Dixie Carter was quoted as saying "I love Spike TV and I'm happy that TNA can remain there" one has to question whether or not TNA could of moved to a bigger network.

Kurt rushes at AJ who kicks Kurt low again and delivers a Styles Clash right in the middle of the ring. AJ pins Kurt as referee Earl Hebner manages to count to three and award the match to AJ Styles this time.

Post match the announcers talk about how disgraceful it is that AJ has stolen this match from Angle by cheating. Taz is pro cheating and discusses how AJ did what he had to do to get the win tonight. Striker says he expects better from Taz as AJ celebrates over the downed Angle in the ring. We fade away with Tenay telling us to tune into Impact this week.

Default Re: TNA 2013 - A New Man In Charge

I've just read every single show you've posted in this thread and all I can say is wow. I'm really enjoying this show and hoping you'll come back and continue where you left off. James Mitchell was by far my favorite manager of the recent era, so having him back with Abyss is very cool, especially incorporating Raven and Dr. Stevie in the initial storyline. I'm interested to see how the women's division would go if you continue as Isis seems to be a complete monster. I do wish Abyss would have retained the title for a bit longer to continue the fued and the reign of Abyss, just seems to soon for the monster to lose it.

Most people don't, but I enjoy the heel AJ. The dark lone wolf AJ Styles we got to see in TNA before they made him "good" again and made him team with the MEM was wonderful, hope to see the reign continue.

Also definitely cool to see Ted Dibiase, definitely an underutilized talent in the WWE.

Its been awhile since you've updated, but I'm sure hoping you'll return and keep working on this!

This is an amazing thread. You're really doing a great job on this. I believe that Eric and Hogan needed to be handed to keys to TNA along with their allowance to just go out and make the company better, and at least I'm getting that with this thread. Great Job.
