TNA Impact Wrestling Results

- The show starts with highlights of last week. A heavy emphasis is put on AJ Styles winning the number 1 contenders spot in a Triple Threat match. The show launches as we are welcomed to Impact by Mike Tenay, Matt Striker and Taz who hype the X-Division Championship main event before sending it to Jeremy Borash who is standing in the ring with a microphone in hand

Borash thanks Tenay as he says that it's time for what the fans have been waiting a month for. Borash says he won't make us wait any longer and introduces Hulk Hogan. Hulk's music plays and out he comes on a pair of crutches. He gets down to the ring and enters with the help of Borash before cupping his hand to his ear to a big reaction from the Reno faithful. Hogan is handed a microphone by Borash as Hulk says he's happy to be back in Nevada which gets a big cheer. Hulk says he loves it here and that they know how to treat a legend such as himself. Hulk says his injuries have taken awhile to recover and mentions that Aces and Eights is still running wild. Hulk says this isn't acceptable and that only Hulkamania can run wild which gets a cheer from the audience.

Hogan says he's been watching Impact week to week and he notices that Bully Ray has been dominating. Hulk says AJ winning last week was great and that AJ is the future of the business and that he will win the TNA World Heavyweight Title at Bound For Glory. Hogan explains that the odds are against AJ at Bound For Glory because Bully has guys who are willing to help him. Hulk says that at Bound For Glory there will be a special enforcer on the outside to make sure no funny business goes down. Hulk reveals that it will be he who is the special enforcer at Bound For Glory to a big reaction from the audience.

Hogan is about to continue talking but Aces and Eights music plays bringing out a furious Bully Ray who has a microphone in hand. Bully yells from the ramp that Hulk is going to screw him at Bound For Glory and that he won't stand for it. Hulk says he's just evening up the odds but says he wasn't done. Hulk says there is a talented man in the back who Bully cheated out of the World Heavyweight Title and never felt remorse for. Hogan says next week Bully will have a warm up match for Bound For Glory. Bully is fuming and once again yells that he isn't wrestling until Bound For Glory. Hulk says Bully will wrestle CHRIS SABIN next week or that Bully will be stripped of the TNA World Heavyweight Title and FIRED. Bully is going insane on the ramp as Hulk's music plays. Bully storms off to the back as we cut to commercial break.

TNA Singles Match:

Petey Williams Vs Robbie E

We return from commercial to see Robbie E in the ring already warming up. Petey Williams' generic music starts playing and out he comes ready for action. Tenay hypes Petey's match at Bound For Glory which is just 10 days away. Petey slides into the ring and is checked for weapons by referee Brian Hebner. Hebner finds nothing and calls for the bell to start the match.

Petey and Robbie E circle the ring as Robbie E lunges in but Petey backs off. Robbie E is caught off balance as Petey delivers a dropkick to Robbie E knocking him into the corner. Petey runs at Robbie E but Robbie E ducks out of the way and Petey runs right into the corner ring post. Robbie E takes advantage standing on Petey before jumping down and rolling him up for a 2 count. Petey's shoulder is a mess as he clutches at it but Robbie E begins to target it with a number of arm holds and submissions. Petey's arm is clearly getting worked over as Robbie E is relentless and continues to foil any attempt at a comeback by Petey by simply going to the left shoulder.

Petey gets a mini come back going as he gets out of a neckbreaker attempt but Robbie E quickly goes right back to the shoulder with a nerve pinch submission hold causing Petey to desperately attempt to reach the ropes which he does manage to do. Robbie E releases the hold but uses the ropes to stretch Petey's arm out causing Petey to attempt to roll out of the ring. Robbie E lifts Petey up and hits a suplex right in the middle of the ring netting himself a 2 count. Robbie E plays to the crowd a little as they boo him. Robbie E muscle poses but as he turns around he's met with a kick to the stomach. Petey Williams attempts the Canadian Destroyer but Robbie E quickly is out of the position and on the floor. Petey climbs to the top rope and delivers a Moonsault right to the floor which receives a "holy shit" chant from the audience. Petey gets up grabbing at his shoulder and enters the ring.

Robbie E is in the ring as Petey whips him to the ropes and hits a dropkick before going up to the top rope again and hitting a Moonsault right into the middle of the ring and hitting Robbie E. Brian Hebner drops down but Robbie E kicks out at the last minute. Robbie E recovers quickly poking Petey in the eyes and attempting a DDT but Petey reverses it into a Canadian Destroyer. Petey uses all his strength to roll Robbie E over and puts a limp arm over him. Brian Hebner counts to three and awards the former TNA X-Division Champion the victory.

Tenay goes into hype mode about how talented Petey Williams is and hypes the Ultimate X match against Marasciulo and Manik for Bound For Glory. Striker says the Canadian Destroyer is the best finisher he's ever seen and claims nobody ever kicks out of it.

Petey Williams defeated Robbie E

- Magnus is standing backstage with Jeremy Borash who asks him if he's recovered from the triple threat match from last week. Magnus says he feels fine and is pumped up for his match which is coming up. Magnus says he's throwing his name in the hat to team up with Hardy and Joe at Bound For Glory to take on Aces and Eights. Magnus leaves as Borash says a team between Hardy, Joe and Magnus would be "nothing short of amazing"

- Abyss has arrived at the arena. He walks in and is repeating the word "Monster" over and over again. He starts yelling it causing TNA backstage staff to scatter. Abyss turns over a table in his rage before calming down and walking down the hall seemingly to his lockeroom

TNA Singles Match:

Kenny King Vs Magnus

Kenny King is out first as he cockily struts to the ring and poses for a fan at ringside who snaps photos. King walks around the ring before sliding into it and warming up in the ring. Main Event Mafia music brings out Magnus who gets a nice reception from the Nevada faithful. He slaps some high fives at ringside before entering the ring and being checked for weapons. Referee Brian Stiffler recognises that Magnus has no weapons and signals for the opening bell.

King runs at Magnus but Magnus quickly picks him up and delivers a power slam right in the middle of the ring. Magnus gets a quick 2 count but King kicks out and rolls to the floor. Magnus plays to the crowd as King enters again and runs at Magnus a second time. Magnus hits King with another power slam right in the middle of the ring for another 2 count. King rolls out to the floor again as the audience laughs at him. King looks around and starts arguing with a fan as Magnus stands in the ring patiently. King slides in again and runs at Magnus a third time. Magnus is expecting another power slam but King simply enziguri's him in the head and quickly stands up and punches away at the head of Magnus.

King is in control of the match as he chokes Magnus in the corner whilst pointing to his head signalling how smart he is. King continues his cheating ways cheap shotting Magnus when he can and even choking the life out of him on the ropes. Magnus is hit with a bulldog as King taunts the audience and gets good heat from them. Magnus somewhat starts to come back punching away at Kings head but King quickly hits a drop toe hold and locks in a leg lock trying to make Magnus tap out. Magnus quickly gets to the rope as referee Brian Stiffler calls for the break. King attempts a suplex but Magnus reverses it into a suplex of his own causing both men to be down. Stiffler reaches a 5 count before Magnus is on his feet

A fired up Magnus runs at King hitting him with a clothesline. King gets up for another clothesline and is hit with another. King is whipped off the ropes and hit with a back body drop as Magnus starts clapping his hands which the crowd soon follows. Magnus yells "Cloverleaf" as he locks it on King. King manages to hold off on tapping for about 30-40 seconds before quickly submitting right in the middle of the ring giving Magnus yet another submission victory.

Post match Magnus celebrates in the ring as King rolls to the floor and walks up the ramp. All three announcers agree that Magnus is one of those guys who is definitely the future in TNA. Hernandez and Anarquia brawl with Hernandez having a very early advantage and throwing Anarquia all around the ring. Anarquia rolls to the floor and is tended to by Chavo but Homicide rushes around and throws Chavo into the guard rail before throwing Anarquia back into the ring. Hernandez hits a big back body drop right onto Anarquia who crawls into the corner and is met with a running clothesline by Hernandez which knocks him down. As Anarquia sits in the corner Chavo yells instructions but Anarquia is hit with a running face wash straight to the face.

Homicide and Chavo begin brawling on the floor as Hernandez makes his way back into the ring but is met with a number of clubbing blows right to his back. Chavo and Homicide continue to brawl on the floor and referee Stiffler is distracted by both of them which allows Anarquia to get a ring and swing it at Hernandez. Hernandez ducks however and punches the chair right into Anarquia's face.

Homicide and Chavo are seperated by assorted members of security and TNA staff as Stiffler enters the ring just in time to see Hernandez deliver the Border Toss on Anarquia. Sting says if the Aces and Eights have any guts they'll come down to the ring right now.

Aces and Eights music plays and out they come. All except Bully Ray and Mr Anderson walk down to the ring. Devon has a microphone in hand as Sting immediately asks Devon who is behind this. Devon shrugs his shoulders and says Aces and Eights have absolutely zero to do with it before chuckling. Devon says they'll take credit for hurting a legend though. Sting tells Devon that he knows what he saw and that he wants revenge in a match right now. Devon replies that he doesn't think that would work, he talks about how Bound For Glory is just 10 days away and that he doesn't want any of his boys getting hurt. Devon says he could arrange something for Bound For Glory however. Sting asks what the catch is as Devon chuckles again and says if Sting wants a match against one of his men at Bound For Glory he has to put his career on the line. Devon discusses how many people within TNA have tried to end Sting's career and that he wants Aces and Eights to have the honor and privledge of ending it.

Sting takes a moment to think before saying he'll do it. Sting says there's a catch for him also though. Sting says if he wins he wants Aces and Eights to disband forever. This proposition gets a pop from the crowd and a small "Sting" chant breaks out. Devon and the rest of Aces and Eights huddle up before Devon leads the huddle smiling. Devon says sure, at Bound For Glory it'll be Aces and Eights member Mr Anderson taking on Sting. The crowd erupt into cheers as Devon informs Sting that at the end of this years Bound For Glory it will be "bye bye career" Devon sarcastically waves and walks away as Sting and the rest of the Mafia stand confidently in the ring.

Default Re: TNA 2013 - A New Man In Charge

-411mania.com

- Last nights TNA Impact only managed a 1.1 rating which featured the final match of the Chris Sabin series and the return of Hulk Hogan. This is one of the lowest during Eric's reign and he is allegedly very angry about it. One insider states that Eric's "obsession" is competing with the WWE and destroying Ring Of Honor. The insider states that by this time next year Eric wants to be in position to be competing neck and neck with the WWE. Apparently he has the full backing of Bob and Dixie Carter for this.

- In TNA Signing news after the embarassment of missing out on Mick Foley last week due to him feeling TNA isn't for him just now TNA were embarassed once more after speaking with ROH Star Adam Cole. Allegedly TNA were trying to convince Adam Cole to sign a developmental deal with TNA and spend time in OVW. Adam Cole has stated publically he asked TNA for 7500 dollars a month (TNA pays developmental talent 2000 dollars a month) an effort to haggle with Cole wasn't possible. Cole mentioned on his Facebook page he was happy about it as he's happy being in ROH right now.

- TNA has approached a number of other independent talents (Mostly from ROH) with them all deliberately asking for too much money. Matt Taven the current ROH World Television Champion however jumped at the offer and signed a 2000 dollar a month deal. He'll start with Ohio Valley Wrestling later this month. It's currently unknown what ROH will do with the Television Title.

- SHIMMER and TNA have parted ways. The two had an unwritten agreement which would allow SHIMMER to use TNA talent if they wanted. Eric Bischoff has said this will no longer happen and the Knockouts will not be able to appear on any DVD's except TNA ones. This was said to upset some of the Knockouts as they now miss out on the SHIMMER pay day.

- TNA seems to want to improve it's developmental options as many more staff have been hired for the Ohio Valley Wrestling developmental territory today. We've already heard of ROH World Television Champion Matt Taven signing with TNA but TNA has added staff members including former Florida Championship Wrestling Head Trainer Doctor Tom Prichard. Prichard will be second in charge to current OVW Head Trainer Al Snow. Former TNA Wrestler turned referee Mikey Batts will join OVW as a referee in hopes of working the main TNA Shows joining him is former WWE referee Kevin Keenan who worked on the ECW Brand also signed was former TNA Wrestler Christina Von Eerie who wrestled as Toxxin back in 2011.

- Rumors are running rampant about how Eric Bischoff has been able to afford to fill Ohio Valley with some great talents. The main rumor circulating is that Eric Bischoff and Hulk Hogan have sacrificed some of their wages to bring other talent in. Another rumor is that TNA has received a cash injection from Panda Energy the third option which is a bit of a long shot is that TNA has signed a new television deal. Only time will tell which one of these is true but it's definitely exciting to think about

Default Re: TNA 2013 - A New Man In Charge

-411mania.com

- We get the opening of Impact and immediately cut to highlights of the Alex Shelley Vs Chris Sabin match last week. We open to the arena where we are greeted by Tenay, Taz and Striker who hype the show. Tonight we're going to see Bully Ray Vs Chris Sabin and Hulk Hogan has 2 announcements for Bound For Glory. The announcers heavily hype Bound For Glory as we suddenly cut to the back

- A Limousine appears backstage and parks at the door to the arena as Chris Sabin emerges from the back seat with his gear bag in hand. Jeremy Borash is on the scene and asks Sabin about the match in just 3 days at Bound For Glory. Sabin says Bound For Glory is the biggest show of the year and that he and Shelley will steal the show. Sabin says he gave the match type to Hogan earlier in the week and it will be amazing. Borash asks Sabin about the match with Bully tonight, Sabin proclaims that Bully is going down tonight and that Sabin is treating it like a World Title match even though it's Non Title

TNA Television Championship Ravens Rules Match:

Raven (C) W/ James Mitchell Vs Eric Young

Eric Young is out first as he slaps some high fives at ringside. Tenay and Taz question why Eric Young isn't on Impact much anymore. Eric poses on the turnbuckle to some cheers before standing in the ring awaiting his opponent. Raven's music plays as he walks down with pushing a Shopping Cart. James Mitchell is behind him wielding a Kendo Stick as Raven enters the ring, poses and immediately attacks Eric Young with a Trash Can lid.

Raven continues the assault with a Trash Can lid as James Mitchell throws the actual Trash Can in for Raven to use and Raven does not hesitate immediately smashing the Trash Can over the head of Eric Young causing him to fall. Raven grabs him by the back of the head before pulling a chain out of his shorts and choking Eric Young with it. Eric Young manages to get to the ropes but it's Raven's Rules so Raven doesn't release the hold and there is nothing referee Brian Hebner can do about it. Raven continues choking Young until Young is seemingly unconscious. Raven goes for a pin but Eric Young kicks out barely but is quickly hit with a Snap Suplex as Raven continues his assault

Raven leaves the ring searching the Shopping Cart for more weapons but as he does this Eric Young delivers a Baseball Slide on Raven knocking him down on the ramp before searching the shopping cart and pulling out a Frankenstein Dummy. He hits Raven with it multiple times knocking the TNA Television Champion down. EY searches for more weapons and decides on the Kitchen Sink which he throws at the downed Raven before attempting a pin but only getting a two count. Eric Young attempts an Irish Whip into the guard rail but Raven reverses it before collecting a chair from ringside and smashing Young in the head with it.

Raven pulls a table out from under the ring and throws it into the ring. He sets up the table but Eric Young attacks him from behind. Eric attempts a Suplex but is kicked low by Raven before being thrown onto the table. Raven hits a Piledriver through the table causing him and Eric Young to collapse to the mat. Raven pins Eric Young but Young kicks out at two. The audience can't believe it and neither can Raven. Raven quickly picks up Eric Young and delivers the Evenflow DDT right in the middle of the ring. Raven pins Eric Young and Brian Hebner counts to three awarding Raven the match.

Raven defeated Eric Young in a Raven's Rules match to retain the TNA Television Championship

- Post match Raven signals to the back as he continues his beat down on Eric Young. Dr Stevie comes rushing out with a needle in hand. Raven holds Eric Young and just as Stevie is going to inject Eric with some type of substance the lights in the arena go out. When they come back on Abyss is in the ring and the crowd goes nuts. Raven and Mitchell bail out of the ring but Dr Stevie is left. Abyss grabs him before hitting a Black Hole Slam right in the middle of the ring on Dr Stevie. Raven and Mitchell head for the hills as Abyss plays to the audience and yells "Monster" over and over again.

- Sting is standing by backstage with Jeremy Borash. Borash questions Sting about the contract signing later tonight. Sting says he hopes it's just Anderson who comes down to the ring tonight. Sting says he saw the respect from Anderson to AJ and Magnus a couple weeks ago so he knows Anderson is capable of respect towards him no matter how much Aces and Eights have got in his head. Sting says he's looking forward to ending Aces and Eights once and for all at Bound For Glory.

TNA Six Man Tag Team Match:

Jeff Hardy, Magnus and Samoa Joe Vs Kenny King and Bromans

Kenny King and Bromans make their way out first casually taunting the audience before entering the ring. Main Event Mafia music brings out Magnus and Joe who walk down the ramp ready for action. They stop on the ramp as Jeff Hardy's music plays and out he comes. Tenay mentions that Hardy, Magnus and Joe requested this match as a warm up for Bound For Glory and that Eric granted it. Jeff, Magnus and Joe slide into the ring as Brian Hebner signals for the bell

Samoa Joe starts out against Robbie E. Robbie E chops Joe twice as Joe encourages a third. Robbie E chops him a third time as Joe laughs it off and chops Robbie E hard knocking him to the mat. Joe immediately tosses Robbie into the corner before kicking him multiple times in the body. Joe tags out to Magnus who quickly hits a belly to belly suplex on Robbie E. Kenny King blind tags in and runs at Magnus who kicks him in the stomach and delivers a snap suplex right in the middle of the ring. Magnus poses to the crowd and tags in Hardy as King slowly crawls over and tags in Jessie.

Jessie immediately gets one over Jeff Hardy quickly running at the leg and knocking Hardy down. Jessie immediately goes to school on the leg and the team of Bromans continue to work it down through out the middle part of the match. Bromans hold Hardy's leg as King jumps off the top rope and delivers a Missile Dropkick right to the leg of Jeff who is rolling around on the mat in agony. Jeff tries to get a tag but is hit with an elbow drop by Kenny King who quickly drags him into the Bromans corner. King distracts referee Stiffler as both members of Bromans choke Hardy in the corner. Magnus makes a rookie mistake of trying to get over to help Jeff but this allows Bromans more time to choke Hardy. After a few more minutes of dirty tactics Jeff Hardy manages to hit Jessie Godderz with an Enziguri and tag in Magnus

Magnus comes charging in ready for action as he quickly clothesline Jessie and turns his attention to Robbie E. Magnus whips Robbie E to Samoa Joe who kicks him stiff in the face. Kenny King is hit with a Twist Of Fate by a clearly hurt Jeff Hardy as Magnus locks in the Cloverleaf on Jessie. Hardy and Joe make sure nobody is going to enter the ring and Jessie quickly submits right in the middle of the ring.

Post match Joe and Magnus help Hardy with his leg and celebrate their victory in the ring. Tenay hypes the upcoming six man tag team match at Bound For Glory as Taz says Aces and Eights may be the underdog for the six man tag but they'll win at Bound For Glory. Taz says he guarantees it.

Jeff Hardy, Magnus and Samoa Joe defeated Bromans and Kenny King

- We cut to the back where Alex Shelley is standing by with Jeremy Borash. Shelley is in his street clothes with the X-Division Title over his shoulder as Borash questions Shelley about what kind of match he will be having with Sabin at Bound For Glory. Shelley says nobody has told him anything but he hopes it's violent. Shelley casually explains that he wants to tear Sabin to shreds and make sure he doesn't ever wrestle again. Shelley says he's tired of Sabin and that at Bound For Glory it will be his time to shine

- We cut to another part of the arena where Dr Stevie is tied up in what looks to be a basement. He's attached to a chair as we suddenly see Abyss with a mouse in his hand. Abyss strokes the mouse and asks Stevie where Raven is. Stevie says Raven is probably gone already. Abyss says that isn't good enough and hits Stevie with an open palm. Stevie still denies knowing Raven's where abouts as Abyss lets go of the mouse and walks over to a nearby table. He pulls out a pair of pliers and informs Stevie he's going to give him one last chance. Stevie says he has no idea where Raven is. Abyss opens Stevie's mouth, the feed goes black as we hear Stevie's yells of pain and we quickly cut away to commercial.

TNA Singles Match:

Manik Vs Noam Dar

We come back from commercial with young Scottish star Noam Dar in the ring arguing with an audience member at ringside. Striker says he's heard a lot about Noam Dar and mentions Noam managed to go 20 minutes with AJ Styles a couple of years back. Tenay is impressed by this as Manik walks out. Manik high fives some fans at ringside and even hugs a kid before sliding into the ring. Tenay takes a moment to hype the Ultimate X match but as he is doing so Manik offers a hand shake to Dar but Dar rejects it and slaps Manik right in the face starting the match.

Manik quickly delivers right hand blows to the head of Noam Dar before quickly whipping him off the ropes and delivering a picture perfect dropkick. Manik quickly follows this up with a snapmare, he sprints off the ropes and delivers a shining wizard straight to Dar and gets a 2 count. Noam slides out to the floor and argues with a fan at ringside. Taz says that maybe Noam should start focusing on Manik and not the fans. As Taz says this Manik attempts a plancha but Noam moves out of the way and Manik crashes and burns on the outside. Noam quickly starts stomping away at the head of Manik before hitting a Moonsault off the ring steps right onto Manik who is on the floor. The fans are impressed by this as Noam tosses Manik back into the ring but only manages a 2 count.

Noam continues dominating this one using a lot of European Uppercuts on Manik and pulling out some British Wrestling moves. Noam hits a Snapmare of his own and even hits his own Shining Wizard before spitting on Manik. Noam climbs to the top rope and waits as Manik stands up and is hit with a Cross Body off the top rope. Manik reverses it getting his own pin for a 2 count. Manik quickly rises up and hits a Neckbreaker on Noam but Noam once again kicks out at 2. Manik can't believe it and slaps the mat in frustration but quickly hits a snap kick on Noam before hitting a Rana off the top rope on him.

Manik pins Noam but only gets a 2 count. Manik can't believe it as Petey Williams casually walks down to the ring in his street clothes. He smirks at Manik and tries to enter the ring but Marasciulo is out here as well and starts brawling with Petey. Manik is so distracted by this it allows Noam Dar to quickly roll him up. Referee Earl Hebner quickly counts to three as Noam bails out of the ring and leaves through the crowd having won the match. Marasciulo and Petey brawl to the back as Manik is on his knee's in the ring questioning what happened.

Noam Dar defeated Manik

- We cut to the back where a bloody Dr Stevie is still taped to the chair. He is bleeding from his mouth and head as Abyss questions where Raven is. Stevie says he doesn't know as Abyss grabs the pliers again. Stevie yells that he'll talk just no more pliers, Stevie says in his pocket an address is written and that's where Raven has been hiding from Abyss for this week at least. Abyss takes the address from Stevie's pocket before knocking the chair over and leaving the room presumably in pursuit of Raven.

- We see Hulk Hogan leaving his office and walking the halls. We suddenly cut to the Aces and Eights locker room who are watching Hulk leave his office on a monitor. Bully looks at Devon and says to go into Hulk's office and find out about the new wrestler set to debut at Bound For Glory. Bully says he won't let Hogan screw him.

TNA Singles Match:

Gail Kim Vs Velvet Sky

Gail Kim is out first as she walks down to the ring in a cocky manner. She enters the ring and is checked for weapons by referee Earl Hebner. Tenay goes into hype mode for the fatal four way at Bound For Glory which will feature Mickie James defending against Gail Kim, ODB and Velvet Sky. Speaking of Velvet she makes her entrance to a big reaction from the crowd. She is also checked for weapons by Earl Hebner. He finds no weapons and calls for the bell signalling the start of the match.

As Gail and Velvet stand off Mickie James' music plays and out she walks in street gear with the Knockouts Title over one shoulder. She walks around the ring whilst encouraging the two to fight before settling in at the announce table. Gail and Velvet lock up as Gail quickly wrestles Velvet to the mat and locks in a head scissors. Whilst Velvet attempts to get out Mickie talks about how hard she's been training for the match at Bound For Glory and how she's definitely going to win it. As she says this Velvet hits a Russian Legsweep getting herself a nice 2 count. Mickie talks about how impressive these women are as Tenay mentions how complimentary Mickie is being. Mickie says she points out the positives so that she looks better after she wins which gets a scoff from Striker

Velvet and Gail continue wrestling in this back and forth match. Gail pulls at Velvets hair and hits a snapmare using the hair. Gail locks in a cross armbar as Velvet struggles and struggles before eventually finding the ropes. Gail refuses to break the hold until Earl Hebner forces her to break it. Gail quickly stomps away at Velvet but Velvet grabs the leg and takes Gail down ramming her head into the mat multiple times and quickly standing up, bouncing off the ropes and delivering a bulldog on the worn down Gail.

Velvet is really dominating at this point but Gail pokes her in the eye and attempts a Facebreaker but Velvet counters this, kicks Gail in the stomach and delivers the In Yo Face. Gail is out as Velvet pins Gail and wins the match. Velvet immediately begins celebrating as Mickie rises from the announce table and sarcastically claps Velvet. Velvet makes the "Coming for the belt" motion as Mickie laughs it off and we cut to commercial.

Velvet Sky defeated Gail Kim

- We cut to Hulk Hogan's office door where Devon has just broken in and is collecting multiple contracts and putting them in a bag. As he turns around he's met by Hulk Hogan who asks him what he's doing. Devon laughs and says "So predictable, Hulk" as he says this Garrett Bischoff, Knux and Wes Brisco attack Hulk from behind. Devon joins in as they kick away at Hulk. Garrett grabs a nearby pen and repeatedly jabs Hulk in the head with it. Hulk is left a bloody mess in his wallet as Devon and the others leave having done their job on this night

- We're shown video footage of Abyss taking someones truck in the street and leaving. Tenay and Striker inform us that a camera man is following Abyss and that they'll keep us updated on the situation.

TNA Singles Match:

Greg Marasciulo Vs Petey Williams

As Petey makes his entrance we're informed that Hulk booked this match before he was attacked in the backstage area. Petey jumps into the ring and awaits his opponent as Marasciulo sprints down and immediately starts brawling with Petey Williams as referee Brian Stiffler quickly signals for the starting bell.

Petey and Marasciulo trade forearms as Marasciulo eventually gets the advantage and knocks Petey down with a forearm. Marasciulo hits multiple clotheslines on Petey before quickly hitting a stalling suplex which earns him a 2 count. Marasciulo whips Petey into the corner and delivers a clothesline into the corner. As Petey is groggy in the corner Marasciulo delivers multiple chops to assorted parts of Petey's body. Petey quickly gets his bearings and hits Marasciulo with a kick to the head before stomping away at him and performing the "Oh Canada" on Marasciulo. Stiffler is outraged as Petey laughs in his face

Petey continues his dirty tactics revealing the turnbuckle and whipping Marasciulo into it back first. As Marasciulo is hurt in the corner Petey sprints in and delivers a dropkick causing Marasciulo to land in the corner again. Petey continues to use the corner to his advantage and repeatedly smashes Marasciulos head into it until Stiffler forces him to stop. Marasciulo is crawling in the ring as Petey climbs to the top rope and raises his arm to boo's from the audience. Petey hits a leg drop on the back of Marasciulo's head and quickly pins him but only manages a 2 count. Petey quickly picks Marasciulo up and attempts a Canadian Destroyer but Marasciulo counters it into a Samoan Drop.

Marasciulo is valiantly fighting back and hits more clothesline to Petey Williams. Petey is whipped off the ropes but as Marasciulo lifts Petey for a Powerbomb he allows Petey out. Petey kicks Marasciulo in the stomach three times and delivers a Canadian Destroyer right in the middle of the ring. A tired Petey Williams rolls Marasciulo over and pins him for the one, two and three. Brian Stiffler raises Petey Williams arm awarding him the victory here tonight on Impact.

Post match Petey celebrates on the ramp as Marasciulo glares from the ring. Tenay rhetorically questions what will happen at Bound For Glory between these two men and also with Manik.

Petey Williams defeated Greg Marasciulo

- We're now backstage as Sting walks towards the ring. Striker says that it's the Mr Anderson and Sting contract signing coming up on the other end of this commercial break. Before we can cut to commercial break we cut to the parking lot where Eric Bischoff is leaving a Limo. Tenay questions what Eric Bischoff is doing here as we cut away to break.

- As we return from commercial Eric Bischoff is in the ring and a table and 2 chairs is set up. Eric explains usually Hulk Hogan would be out here but Eric had to leave his hotel and come and do things right. Eric says before Aces and Eights think about jumping him he has security. He warns Mr Anderson as well before inviting him out. Anderson walks down to the ring and quickly enters before taking a seat at the table. Bischoff invites Sting out who walks out and plays to the crowd a little before entering the ring and sitting down opposite Anderson.

Eric explains that the contract states that if Sting loses his career is history and that if Anderson loses that Aces and Eights is history. "Other then that" Bischoff says "It's something you'd sign for most matches" both men take a minute to read the contract before Anderson quickly scribbles his signature. Anderson attempts to leave the ring but Aces and Eights music starts up and out comes Devon, Garrett, Knux and Wes they are warned by Bischoff to stay on the ramp and they do. Devon has a microphone and tells Anderson this wasn't part of the plan. Devon says to do what Bully told him to right now. Sting gets up ready to fight as Anderson looks perplexed in the ring. Devon yells "NOW!" as Anderson simply rolls out under the bottom rope and leaves via the crowd.

Devon attempts to call Anderson back but Anderson simply leaves through a crowd exit. Devon, Garrett, Knux and Wes attempt to leave as Eric stops them. Eric says he saw what happened earlier when Devon jumped Hulk and that he didn't like it. Devon shrugs his shoulders and asks what Eric is going to do about it. Eric books Devon against Rob Terry on the Bound For Glory pre show and wishes him luck. Devon is angry at this announcement as Sting quickly signs his contract before handing it to Bischoff. We cut to commercial with Sting playing to the crowd and Tenay hyping the Anderson/Sting match and hints that Eric Bischoff will be announcing vital information later on.

TNA Eight Man Tag Team Match:

Gunner, James Storm and Latin American Xchange Vs Bad Influences and Revolution X

We return from commercial as Mike Tenay informs us that Eric Bischoff will indeed be the man announcing the Bound For Glory match and the Sabin/Shelley situation. As they talk about this Revolution X are walking down to ringside clearly ready for action. They enter the ring and taunt the audience as Bad Influences music plays and out walks the cocky duo. They yell something into the camera about winning the tag titles at Bound For Glory before entering the ring. Next the LAX theme plays and out come Hernandez and Homicide ready for action they stop on the ramp as Gunner and James Storm walk out. The four men storm the ring and begin brawling as referee Brian Hebner calls for the bell.

The 8 men brawl throughout the ringside area with the baby faces dominating early on however Brian Hebner regains control of the match and Chavo Guerrero brawls with Homicide in the ring. Homicide eventually takes over tagging in Hernandez who chops away at Chavo multiple times before tossing him into his own corner. Christopher Daniels blind tags into the ring but Gunner is tagged in by Hernandez. Gunner runs at Daniels immediately spear tackling him and stomping away at him. Kazarian is quickly tagged in as he jumps off the ropes but Gunner catches him and delivers an exploder suplex and beats his chest as the crowd erupts.

Gunner continues working down Kazarian in the corner delivering shoulders to the gut of Kazarian before tagging in James Storm but Storm is kicked low and beat down by Kazarian who snap suplexes him into the middle of the ring. Kazarian tags in Anarquia who kicks away at Storm and clubs at his back multiple times before locking in a one legged crab. Storm quickly reverses it and kicks Anarquia into the corner allowing Daniels to blind tag Anarquia in and continue working down Storm. Daniels hits a drop toe hold into the ropes and stands on Storm's back as referee Hebner forces Daniels off

Mayhem eventually ensues after Storm's tag to Gunner was missed by referee Brian Hebner. Revolution X and Frankie Kazarian attacked LAX and Gunner causing a brawl on the floor. As LAX and Revolution X brawl on the floor Gunner launches Kazarian from the top rope and onto the four men. Gunner launches himself at the 5 men after they recover leaving Daniels and Storm in the ring. Daniels attempts the Angels Wings but Storm gets out of it and Superkicks Daniels right in the head. Storm pins Daniels as referee Brian Hebner counts to three and awards the match to Storm as the other six men continue to brawl to the back.

Gunner, James Storm and Latin American Xchange defeated Bad Influences and Revolution X

- We cut immediately from the ring to Abyss who exits the truck he stole earlier. He is at the alleged address which is a old run down Motel right next to a Graveyard. The camera man follows Abyss as he wanders around in the Graveyard calling out for Raven. Abyss continues looking around until he comes to an open grave that reads "Joseph Parks" Abyss freaks out but before he can do anything he's hit from behind with a shovel which snaps over his back. Abyss falls into the open grave as Raven poses and maniacally laughs. Raven begins using the snapped shovel to bury Abyss in an open grave as we cut away

- Mike Tenay explains to us that the footage on display is way too graphic for Impact. The audience is booing as Tenay says we'll have the Eric Bischoff announcement at the other end of this commercial break. Striker says to say tuned as we cut away.

- We come back as Tenay and Striker explain that we have no idea what Raven has done to Abyss but could have an update at Bound For Glory. Tenay says Jeremy Borash is in the ring as we cut to Borash who thanks Tenay and says he's now bringing out the man who is in charge of TNA who is none other than Eric Bischoff. Bischoff walks out to a mildly positive reaction from the crowd as he enters the ring and is handed the microphone from Jeremy Borash. Bischoff says Bound For Glory is TNA's biggest show of the year and this year he's stacked the card to represent that. Eric says he has 2 announcements here for the big show live on PPV in just 3 days

Bischoff says his first announcement is in regards to a new match. Bischoff says he's been sitting back watching Abyss and Raven hunt eachother week to week. Bischoff says he saw what just happened on video but says that if both Abyss and Raven are at the Pay Per View they will compete in a Monsters Balls match to decide the TNA Television Championship. This gets a nice pop from the audience as Bischoff says he's going to move onto the X-Division Championship match between Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin. Bischoff says Sabin was given the choice of the match type and that the fans won't be disappointed. Eric says that the X-Division Title match will be a Tables, Ladders and Chairs match with the belt hung above the ring. The crowd love this and erupt into cheers.

Eric says he won't take anymore of our time here tonight and tells us to enjoy the main event which is next. Eric says he loves Nevada before bowing to each side of the ring and leaving. We cut to commercial break with Tenay informing us that it's Bully Ray Vs Chris Sabin next.

TNA Singles Match:

Bully Ray Vs Chris Sabin

"Hail Sabin" starts as Chris Sabin jogs out ready for action. He jogs down the ramp slapping high fives with the fans at ringside before sliding in and waiting for his opponent. A clearly angry Bully Ray walks down to the ring with the TNA World Heavyweight Title over his shoulder. He enters the ring and hands the belt off to referee Earl Hebner. Borash gives us the formal ring introduction as Hebner asks both men if they're ready. Once they've confirmed they are he calls for the bell signifying the start of the match.

Bully immediately pushes Sabin but Sabin responds with a slap and immediately punches away at Bully knocking him down. Bully tries to roll out of the ring but Sabin has a hold of his leg and drags him back in continuing his assault. He hits a Rana on Bully as Bully finally gets out of the ring but as he attempts to recover Sabin launches himself through the middle rope and lands on top of Bully. Sabin rises up playing to the crowd as we cut to commercial with Sabin clearly in control.

As we return from commercial Sabin and Bully are now back in the ring. Sabin attempts a kick but Bully grabs his leg and flips him backwards. Sabin lands on his head as Bully stomps away at the neck of Sabin. Bully puts a foot on the back of Sabins neck and raises both arms up as the crowd erupts into boo's. Bully yells at them to shut up as he delivers a a side slam right on Chris Sabin. Sabin struggles for air and struggles for the ropes as Bully hits an elbow drop right onto the back of Sabin's head. Bully slaps Sabin in the head multiple times before picking him up and Powerbombing him right in the middle of the ring. Sabin is almost unconscious but as Bully comes in he's quickly kicked away and Sabin has his second wind hitting Bully with a dropkick.

Sabin is really fighting hard here as Bully is hit with multiple arm drags and clothesline. Bully is clearly rocked as Sabin hits the Hail Sabin out of nowhere. He pins Bully but Bully kicks out at the last second. Sabin climbs to the top rope but as Bully rises up he is pushed from behind by Alex Shelley. Sabin falls to the floor as referee Earl Hebner immediately calls for the bell. Sabin is thrown into the crowd as he and Shelley brawl through the crowd and to the back.

Post match Bully recovers in the ring but the crowd suddenly erupts as AJ Styles is on the ramp with a microphone. AJ says he could run down and just take the TNA World Heavyweight Title now but he wants to wait and end Bully's reign at Bound For Glory. AJ says he's taking the belt and there is nothing Bully can do about it. A clearly fatigued Bully shakes his head no as the crowd chant "AJ, AJ, AJ" this is the final thing we hear as we cut away.

Chris Sabin defeated Bully Ray via disqualification

Default Re: TNA 2013 - A New Man In Charge

-411mania.com

- TNA Impact ratings are in and it's a 1.2 which is 0.1 higher than last week. It's thought that the big lead in show to Bound For Glory is the reason why the ratings improved. The highest rated segment was the main event between Bully Ray and Chris Sabin

- Speaking of Bound For Glory Eric Bischoff has apparently been telling everyone how huge the show is and has dubbed it "WrestleMania esque" to TNA staff. Hulk Hogan has been doing the rounds in California telling people that this show will be better then anything the WWE does this year. Eric has allegedly gone all out for this one and believes it will either "make or break" TNA. This reporter is interested in what Eric can do with Bound For Glory.

- Keiji Mutoh (Known as the Great Muta) announced at a Wrestle 1 Show in Japan that he would be at Bound For Glory in a non wrestling capacity. Mutoh was invited to watch over the TNA talent and in hopes of keeping the current TNA and Wrestle 1 deal active going forward. Mutoh is allegedly excited at the chance of being at the big event and has arrived 2 days early.

- Rumours are circulating that the man to debut at TNA's Bound For Glory will be either Batista or Bobby Lashley. Batista has been very quiet about it in interviews as has Lashley. One has to question if these are the debutants what they can really bring to TNA.

- Dr Stevie has been released from his Pay Per Appearance deal in TNA. His angles with Abyss on Impact were a way to write him out of story lines. Stevie was apparently making 500 dollars a night in TNA.

Now this is a bound for glory line up. So many matches here id love to see and the matches capture the big feel bound for glory should have. I mean roode v aries and shelley v sabin are massive, sting and anderson with so much on the line can only all be on one card at the biggest event of the year. I enjoyed the angle with magnus and the title as well, his so much more believable in your booking than in tna right now.

Keep going love the structure, looking forward to your B4G.

Petey Williams is out first as he walks out quickly and ready for action. He dives into the ring before looking up at the Red X hanging above him and nodding his head. Manik comes out next as he slaps some high fives at ringside and rolls into the ring. He and Petey start arguing as Marasciulo walks out to a small pop from the audience. He slaps high fives also before entering the ring and pointing at Petey Williams and finally pointing at the Red X. Referee Brian Hebner signals for the bell and the match starts

Marasciulo and Petey start with brawling in the middle of the ring. Manik stands in his corner but quickly tries to climb to the top of Ultimate X structure. Marasciulo knocks Petey to the mat before quickly grabbing Manik and tossing him off the top turnbuckle. As Marasciulo turns his attention to Manik it's Petey Williams who quickly tosses Marasciulo to the floor. Petey climbs to the top turnbuckle before climbing onto the Ultimate X ropes and making his way towards the X. Manik has recovered however and is now also on the Ultimate X ropes with Petey. Manik kicks Petey once causing Petey to lose his grip but Petey holds on with his legs. Manik and Petey are both hanging as Marasciulo pulls them both down to the middle of the ring.

Marasciulo hits Petey with a running elbow to the head knocking him to the floor but as he turns around he's met with a Hurricarana from Manik. Manik now has the advantage as he climbs to the top rope and delivers a Moonsault straight on top of Marasciulo who slides to the floor. Petey and Marasciulo brawl on the floor as Manik climbs to the top rope and delivers a Shooting Star Press onto the two on the floor. All three are down as the crowd of about 7000 are going crazy. Manik quickly stands up and makes his way back onto the Ultimate X structure and gets halfway but as he does Marasciulo is up there with him. Manik and Petey brawl in mid ring as Marasciulo delivers a MOONSAULT from the top of the Ultimate X structure onto both men. All three men are down and out in the ring as a "TNA" chant erupts from the fans.

He struggles to the middle but somehow Petey Williams has recovered and is up there with him. Petey kicks Marasciulo twice causing Marasiculo to fall down. Petey grabs the big red X and collapses to the mat.

Greg Marasiculo and Manik struggle to leave the ring as Tenay says that some of the things we saw in this match have to be the craziest things he's ever seen in TNA. Striker and Taz talk about how great the match was and how this is a great start to Bound For Glory.

- We cut backstage where Diamond Dallas Page, Jake Roberts and Scott Hall are in a room doing DDP Yoga together. They do some advanced techniques as suddenly Robbie E is on the scene. Robbie E says that Yoga is for "fruits" and that these three "has beens" need to get out of TNA. Robbie E feels it's an injustice that he isn't on the show and they are. DDP tells Robbie E to hit the bricks and calls him a "monkey" an embarrassed Robbie E vows revenge before power walking from the scene.

TNA San Diego Street Fight:

Latino American Xchange Vs Revolution X

Revolution X are down first with bandanas over their mouths. They walk down to the ring and get into an argument with referee Earl Hebner telling him he better not screw them over. Next comes LAX who are ready for action and both have trash cans in hand. Revolution X meets them on the floor as the two teams continue to brawl.

Tenay explains the rules saying it's a tornado tag match and anything goes but the match must end in the ring. As he says this Hernandez smashes Anarquia in the head with his trash can causing Anarquia to roll down the ramp. Elsewhere Homicide is punching away at Chavo's head with a chain. Homicide delivers a piledriver onto a fans seat as Chavo is clearly knocked out. Homicide drags him through the crowd as we cut back to Hernandez who is being dominated by Anarquia. Anarquia throws a fans drink into the eyes of Hernandez before throwing multiple punches at his head knocking Hernandez down.

Homicide and Chavo are now back in the ring as Homicide threatens Chavo with a Kendo Stick. Chavo begs off but as Homicide questions the crowd he's kicked low by Chavo. Chavo grabs the Kendo Stick and cracks it over Homicides back. Homicide drops to his knees but as he does Hernandez is in the ring. He starts shouldering Chavo but just as Hernandez looks to get the advantage he's hit from behind by Anarquia. Anarquia and Chavo hit a double suplex on Hernandez but as they turn around Homicide is in the ring with a chair. He hits them both in the head with it knocking them down. Anarquia rolls to the floor as Homicide grabs Chavo and tosses him into the corner.

Chavo dives off the top rope and connects with a top rope dropkick on Homicide who rolls to the floor. Chavo is up quickly and charges at Hernandez in the corner but Hernandez smacks Chavo right in the head with a Kendo Stick. Chavo crumbles in the ring as Hernandez picks the limp Chavo up and delivers a Crucifix Powerbomb. Anarquia is knocked down on the outside by Homicide as Hernandez stares at his former partner, gets an angry look on his face and delivers yet another Crucifix Powerbomb. TNA Knockouts Championship Match:

Gail Kim Vs Mickie James (C) Vs ODB Vs Velvet Sky

ODB makes her way out first to a small reaction from the crowd. She jogs down to the ring and rolls in before playing to the audience. Gail Kim is out next who cockily struts to the ring and poses on the ramp. She enters the ring as the music of Velvet Sky hits and out she comes. She high fives fans at ringside before entering the ring. Brian Stiffler maintains order as the music of Mickie James hits and out comes the champion looking rather confident but also nervous. She enters the ring and plays to the audience who boo her.

Stiffler calls for the bell as Gail Kim immediately bails to the floor before arguing with a fan about how she has a game plan. Both Velvet and ODB take advantage of this by attacking Mickie James and punching her in the corner. ODB scoop slams Mickie allowing Velvet to hit a flying elbow off the top rope. Velvet tries to pin Mickie but ODB breaks it up. The two start arguing as ODB throws a punch knocking Velvet down. At this point Gail enters the ring attacking ODB from behind and throwing her to the floor. Gail stomps Velvet once before hitting a snap suplex on Mickie James right in the middle of the ring. This gets Gail a 2 count as the match continues.

Gail is hit from behind by Velvet who quickly hits a bulldog and attempts a pin but it's broken up by ODB. ODB hits a Samoan Drop on Velvet before quickly standing up and hitting a sitout powerbomb on Gail. The pin attempt is broken up by Mickie who tosses ODB to the floor and attacks Velvet. Mickie attempts a suplex but Velvet is having none of it and DDT's Mickie right in the middle. Gail Kim kicks Velvet right in the face and steals the pin but Mickie kicks out at 2. Gail Kim is thrown to the floor by an angry Velvet who quickly turns her attention to Mickie James and kicks her in the stomach. Velvet hits the Mick Kick on Mickie as Taz yells surely this one is over.

Mickie kicks out at two however as a clearly frustrated Velvet hits Gail Kim who is attempting to enter the ring. Gail and ODB brawl on the floor as Velvet hits the In Yo' Face on Mickie. Velvet quickly hooks the leg for the one, two and three. ODB makes it just after the three count but Brian Stiffler calls for the bell. Velvet Sky is now a 3 time TNA Knockouts Champion

Post match all the Knockouts are down in the ring as Velvet celebrates with her belt. Mike Tenay says they have had 1 title match so far and a belt has already changed hands. Striker says he's sure we'll see some more change tonight. Our final image of Velvet is her high fiving her fans at ringside.

- We cut to the back where AJ Styles is doing some very extensive stretching. Tenay, Striker and Taz go into hype mode for tonights main event. Tenay says that AJ goes into the match with a lot of pressure and that everybody is relying on him. Striker suggests AJ has to block all that out and focus on just Bully. Taz says that AJ has no chance and that at the end of Bound For Glory we'll still have Bully Ray as TNA World Heavyweight Champion

- We see a video featuring Abyss and Raven. We see highlights of their feud which consisted of Raven beating Abyss down. Beating him down in a graveyard and Abyss torturing Dr Stevie. We get a few clips of Abyss dominating in the Monsters Ball match in the past as we cut to the ring.

TNA Television Championship Monsters Ball Match:

Abyss Vs Raven (C) W/ James Mitchell

Raven and James Mitchell walk out to the ring. Raven poses on the ramp and tosses the TNA Television Title into the ring before entering the ring and slumping into the corner. Mitchell hands Raven a microphone as Raven says Abyss isn't here tonight and that Raven literally buried Abyss alive back in Nevada. Raven says that he has been abiding to the Monsters Ball match rules and will defend the TNA Television Title against anyone in the back. Of course Abyss' music plays as he comes out covered in dirt and blood. His mask is on and he has a bag full of tacks. He quickly jumps in the ring as Raven attacks him

Abyss isn't selling anything for Raven and immediately throws him into the corner before repeatedly punching him. Referee Stiffler tries to maintain order but is pushed aside by Abyss who pulls a single thumb tack from the bag and pushes it into Ravens forehead. Raven is thrown to the floor as Abyss follows out and boots him in the face. Abyss looks under the ring tossing assorted weapons into the ring before finding a 2X4 wrapped in Barbed Wire. He hits Raven with this and grates it against the forehead of the former ECW Champion. Raven is now bleeding as Abyss lifts the 2X4 over his head and screams which gets a decent reaction from the crowd.

A bloodied and injured Raven is thrown back into the ring and hit in the head with a trash can lid multiple times until he falls into a heap. Raven eventually recovers and kicks Abyss low. Raven tries to escape but Abyss smashes Raven in the back with the 2X4 wrapped in wire. The fans get a sickening visual of the wire being stuck in Ravens skin as Abyss takes it out and throws the 2X4 at James Mitchell on the outside. Mitchell manages to duck it as Abyss once again mauls Raven this time throwing a trash can at him and leaving the ring. Abyss pulls out a table wrapped in Barbed Wire from underneath the ring and throws it into the ring before setting it up right in the middle of the ring.

Abyss turns around and is kicked multiple times by Raven. Raven hits the Evenflow DDT but Abyss kicks out at 2. Raven tries to suplex Abyss through the Barbed Wire Table but Abyss hits him with a side slam. Abyss walks over to his bag of tacks and pours them all over the Barbed Wire Table. He quickly grabs Raven and delivers a Black Hole Slam straight through the table. Both men are wrapped in the Barbed Wire and have Thumbtacks protruding from their skin. Abyss puts one arm over Raven as referee Brian Stiffler finds a way into the wreckage and counts to three awarding Abyss the match.

James Storm starts out against Kazarian as the two lock up. Kazarian gets a nice side head lock locked in but Storm turns this into a back suplex pretty quickly. He picks Kazarian up, yells in his face and punches him directly in the mouth. Kazarian is down and trying to crawl to his corner as Storm stands on Kazarians leg and jumps on it before quickly locking in a leg lock and tagging in Gunner. Storm releases the hold as Gunner tosses Kazarian into the corner and stomps away at him. Kazarian drops into the corner as Gunner gets a run up and kicks him directly in the face. Gunner quickly tags in Storm who rushes over to the corner and picks Kazarian up whipping him off the ropes.

As Storm waits for Kazarian to come back off the ropes he ducks his head and is quickly kicked by Kazarian who bounces off the ropes himself and performs a sunset flip netting himself a 2 count. Kazarian drop kicks Storm and drags him into the corner before tagging in Daniels. Kazarian distracts referee Hebner as Daniels chokes Storm for a rather long time. Kazarian lets Hebner go as Hebner gives Daniels a four count to break it and Daniels does on 4 and argues with referee Hebner which allows Kazarian to of course choke Storm for a few seconds before getting back onto the apron. Daniels picks Storm up and hits him with an Enziguri knocking the former TNA World Champion down. Daniels and Kazarian take turns tagging in and out to work Storm over but a massive mistake occurs late in the match allowing Storm to catch Daniels off a top rope crossbody attempt. Storm hits a Fallaway Slam before collapsing in the ring but slowly crawling for the tag Storm edges his way closer but at the last second Kazarian who has just been tagged in knocks Gunner off the apron.

Gunner isn't having any of that and immediately enters the ring and spears Kazarian before turning his attention to Daniels and hitting him with a Spinebuster right in the middle of the ring. Gunner is going crazy as Kazarian attacks him from behind and throws him out of the ring. Daniels exits the ring to brawl with Gunner as Kazarian hits Storm with the Fade To Black and covers him immediately but Storm kicks out at two! Kazarian can't believe it as he climbs to the top rope and delivers a SHOOTING STAR PRESS off the top rope. He pins Storm and this time gets the three count and the victory.

Post match a rampaging Gunner is back in the ring ready for war but Bad Influence bail out and celebrate on the ramp way. Roode warms up in the corner as Austin Aries emerges from the back. He walks down the ramp and enters the ring posing on the top turnbuckle. He gets a positive reaction from the crowd before jumping down and allowing himself to be checked for weapons by Earl Hebner. Hebner finds nothing as Aries and Roode begin pushing eachother thus starting the match.

Roode gets sick of the shoving and slaps Aries right in the mouth and immediately follows it up with a clothesline knocking Aries down. Aries quickly grabs the leg of Roode though and trips him. Aries then drops an elbow causing Roode to beg off in the corner. Aries continues the assault though kicking away at Roode before picking him up and hitting him with a triple suplex. The crowd are going wild for Aries as he poses in the ring before quickly turning his attention back to Roode but Roode is ready for him and tosses him into the corner post. Aries is close to submitting but edges himself closer and closer to the ropes. Roode puts more pressure on the hold but a very hurt Aries manages to get 1 foot on the bottom rope causing referee Earl Hebner to count. Roode quickly breaks the hold and drags Aries near the post before smashing Aries' left arm right into the post. Earl Hebner warns Roode to bring it back into the ring but Roode does it a second time before entering the ring again and dragging Aries back into the middle. Roode yells abuse at Aries but is kicked straight in the face as Aries desperately tries to fight back.

Aries does his best without the use of his left arm kicking away at Roode and even hitting a drop toe hold. Roode grabs at his face as Aries hits a Running Senton Bomb. Aries grabs at his arm after the move but puts an arm over Roode getting himself a 2 count. Aries yells "BRAINBUSTER" as he gets Roode in position for it. He slides into the ring as he and Sabin immediately begin brawling.

Sabin and Shelley throw wild punches at eachother as Shelley bails out but is quickly chased by Sabin. Sabin tosses Shelley into a ladder as Shelley crumbles on the ramp way. - We see video of Sting and his fight against the Aces and Eights. We see him losing to Bully Ray and then joining forces with Angle, Joe, Magnus and Rampage to fight them off. The video questions whether this is the end of Sting's career tonight.

TNA Career Vs Stable Match:

Mr Anderson Vs Sting

Mr Anderson walks out with a chain in his hand. He walks to the ring kind of looking disinterested in the entire occasion. He quickly slides into the ring and waits in the corner. The lights go out in the arena as we see an image of a crow appear in the entrance way. This illuminates as suddenly pyro explodes from it giving the impression of a flaming bird. The pyro stops as Sting's music plays. It's his old theme from 2006 and here comes Sting. He walks down to the ring with just a spot light on him he stops at the ramp and points the bat at Anderson. Sting enters the ring and is checked for weapons by referee Brian Stiffler.

Stiffler calls for the bell as Sting and Anderson circle around the ring. Anderson stops circling and immediately attempts for a take down on Sting but Sting counters it and drops all his weight onto Anderson before punching away at the back of Andersons head. Anderson rolls out of it and backs into the corner begging off from Sting. Sting lets Anderson get up but quickly works Anderson into the corner and hits a nice scoop slam in the middle of the ring. Sting plays to the audience who erupt into cheers for him. Sting picks Anderson up and whips him into the corner before attempting the Stinger Splash but nobody is at home for Sting as he hits the turnbuckle.

Anderson immediately hits a German Suplex on Sting and quickly attempts a pin but only gets a 2 count. Anderson immediately goes to town on Sting punching away at him, choking him and even biting him. Referee Brian Stiffler warns Anderson but Anderson tells him to shut up and to stay out of his way. Anderson kicks Sting and delivers a Piledriver right in the middle of the ring. Sting isn't moving as Anderson attempts a pin but only gets a 2 count. Anderson delivers yet another Piledriver right in the middle of the ring but Sting kicks out almost at three. We suddenly cut to the backstage area where Eric Bischoff is talking to a hooded man "Go! Go now!" screams Bischoff as the match continues in ring. Anderson delivers a DDT as Tenay, Striker and Taz speculate who that hooded man is.

Anderson attempts a Mic Check in the middle of the ring but Sting pushes him which causes Anderson to accidentally knock Stiffler down. Sting is hit with a Mic Check right in the middle as the Hooded Man walks down to the ring with a stun gun in hand. He twirls it around his finger before entering the ring and staring at Anderson. Anderson yells at him as the Hooded Man uses the Stun Gun on Anderson. Anderson drops as Sting is helped to his feet by the Hooded Man. As Sting asks whats going on he's also stunned with the Stun Gun. The man puts Sting on top of Anderson and wakes up referee Stiffler who counts to three and awards the match to Sting.

The announcers rejoice that Aces and Eights are gone forever but question who had the deciding vote in this match. The hooded man walks back up the ramp and is met by Eric Bischoff. The two men hug as Anderson and Sting recover in the ring.

Sting defeated Mr Anderson

- Bischoff has a microphone as he talks to the two recovering wrestlers in the ring. Bischoff says that they are both disgraceful. He says Anderson is disgraceful for joining Aces and Eights and Sting is disgraceful for almost losing to Anderson and having Aces and Eights still around. Bischoff said he knew this would happen and that he had someone waiting in the wings just incase. Bischoff says the man beside him is from "the competition" and is going to assist him in cleaning TNA up. Bischoff tells the man to reveal himself and the man does so. he slowly removes his hood revealing that he is TED DIBIASE JR! the crowd give a mixed reaction as Bischoff calls out security and tells them to remove both pieces of "human garbage" from "his ring"

Security do what they're told, they handcuff a groggy Sting and Anderson and take them through the crowd and out of the arena. Bischoff says that TNA will be cleaned up whether the fans like it or not and that if they're mad they can kiss his ass. Bischoff tells the fans to enjoy the main event and leaves with Ted Dibiase Jr.

- We cut to the announcers who hype the main event. Tenay and Striker say they are thinking AJ is going to win this one. Taz says nothing he's obviously distraught that Aces and Eights are now no more. We cut to a highlight video of the AJ and Bully feud featuring things like AJ's return to take out Aces and Eights, AJ winning the Triple Threat to earn a title shot and more interactions between him and Bully.

TNA World Heavyweight Championship Match:

AJ Styles Vs Bully Ray (C)

Special Enforcer: Hulk Hogan

Hulk Hogan gets the first entrance as he comes out and gets a massive reaction from the audience. He walks down to the ring and tears his T-Shirt before tossing it into the crowd. He shakes referee Earl Hebners hand and exits the ring taking his designated chair at ringside. "Evil Ways" hits next as AJ Styles walks out looking pumped up. Jeremy Borash gives him a great formal ring introduction as AJ enters the ring immediately posing on the turnbuckle. Some fans chant "Next World Champ at him" as AJ smiles and awaits his opponent. Bully Ray is out next to his old Team 3.D music because Aces and Eights is history. He walks down looking angry and throws the TNA World Title in the ring. AJ and Bully get in eachothers faces as Earl calls for the bell.

The two immediately begin brawling mid ring but AJ has had enough pretty quickly and attempts the Pele on Bully Ray but Bully dodges that and immediately begins striking away at AJ. Bully has a clear size advantage and is using it right now on AJ who can't get out of this position. Referee Hebner makes Bully open up the hands and he does so. Bully locks in a choke on AJ but AJ is near the ropes and gets a foot on the ropes. Bully breaks the hold but quickly picks AJ up and attempts an Electric Chair Drop right in the middle of the ring but AJ turns this into a Tornado DDT earning himself a 2 count. AJ quickly gets to the top rope and hits a top rope rana as Bully flies to the other side of the ring.

AJ attempts the Styles Clash but Bully turns this into an Alabama Slam type manevour right in the middle of the ring. Bully attempts a pin but only gets a 2 count before choking away at AJ. Tenay questions if AJ can come back from being dominated early on as Striker says AJ is versatile and can take a lot in the ring. As Striker finishes his sentence he's hit with a Samoan Drop from the 250+ pound Bully who squashes him but AJ yet again kicks out. Bully climbs to the top rope and attempts his infamous leg drop but misses allowing AJ a chance to get back into the match and he does immediately hitting the Pele kick right to Bully knocking him to his knees. AJ hits a Powerbomb and attempts to turn it into a Styles Clash but Bully counters it.

As AJ and Bully struggle for dominance in the match suddenly Devon rushes down to the ring. Hogan punches Devon a couple of times as the two brawl up the ramp and to the back. Bully attempts the Bully Bomb but AJ turns Bully around and hits the Styles Clash right in the middle of the ring. AJ looks at the crowd who encourage him to do something else as AJ climbs to the top rope and plays to the crowd who cheer him. AJ hits a Spiral Tap right onto Bully Ray and hooks the leg for the one, two and the three. The bell rings as Jeremy Borash announces "Ladies and Gentlemen your winner and NEW TNA World Heavyweight Champion, "The Phenomenal" AJ Styles!"

AJ is handed the belt by Earl Hebner. He looks at it and starts tearing up as the crowd erupts into an "AJ" chant. AJ poses on each corner turnbuckle as confetti drops from the rafters. Pyro explodes from the stage as we fade away with the image of AJ Styles crying in the ring with the TNA World Heavyweight Title held over his head.

- TNA last night managed to make massive strides in their PPV business achieving 25,000 buys in the United States and more worldwide. The 25,000 buys are a big upgrade from TNA Slammiversary earlier this year which was rumoured to have just 13,000 buys. TNA is advertising Turning Point for next month so Bischoff and Co will be looking to continue the success and prove it isn't just because it was TNA's "WrestleMania"

- Both Raven and Knux will join Dr Stevie in the free agency list after being released by TNA today. Raven losing to Abyss ended the Abyss/Raven story line and with Aces and Eights now dead the company had very little use for Knux which is why he was written out of storylines last night.

- TNA management and Spike TV officials were impressed at the quality of TNA Bound For Glory from a production perspective and Bischoff has received much praise. This could lead to Eric being allowed more funds to improve TNA in the future although that is just speculation at this point and hasn't been confirmed.

- Here is the TNA Impact Press Release from their website for this week:

Really enjoyed the show, the chemistry in most the matches was unreal. You brought to an end the aces which allows you a fresh start in a sense. Roode is on another level and glad he won but I also want to see aries come back at him which is good writing. The Joe and AJ match will also be good. Keep up the good work.

TNA Impact Wrestling Results:

- We get a shot of the McCarthey Athletic Center as Mike Tenay welcomes us to Impact Wrestling. We suddenly enter the arena and immediately cut to Tenay, Taz and Striker. Taz is out of his Aces and Eights gear and is back in a suit as Tenay runs down the card. Tonights main event is AJ/Joe for the World Title, Kurt Angle has something to say and will return tonight also as they continue talking the music of Eric Bischoff cuts them off.

Eric walks down to the ring with a big smile on his face as the announcers show us clips last night of Eric having both Mr Anderson and Sting escorted from the building. Eric enters the ring and receives some jeers from the audience as he is handed a microphone from Christy Hemme. The fans boo Bischoff as he smiles and says he loves them as well and they boo him more. Bischoff says he doesn't know why the audience is booing him, Bischoff states that he did what he did at Bound For Glory because of the people. Bischoff states nobody wants to see Sting anymore which receives more boo's from the audience. Bischoff says Sting got rid of Aces and Eights but after that both he and Anderson are now retired. Bischoff talks about how he couldn't of done it alone and calls out his "partner in crime" none other then Ted DiBiase Jr

Ted Jr has some generic snob music play and out he walks. Ted is in a suit and tie as he walks down and enters the ring. Eric says he wanted to publically thank Ted for his contributions last night as a small "Ted sucks" chants can be heard from the crowd. Ted thanks Bischoff and states that he's here to take out trash like Sting. Ted says it was wise of Eric to use Sting to get rid of Aces and Eights but from now on Eric can rely on him. Ted claims he hates older guys standing in the way of younger guys and gives the example of him being in his fathers shadow. Ted states it's time to rid TNA of the guys like Sting and focus on the youth movement.

As he says this Hulk Hogan's music plays and out he comes to a massive pop. He cups his hand to his ear as the crowd cheer him even more. Hulk is handed a microphone from a stage attendant as he begins speaking. "Eric, what happened to YOU brother?" Hogan asks. Hogan says he and Eric were on the same page just a few days ago at Impact and now Eric has gone crazy. Hogan says the TNA fans love guys like Sting. Ted interrupts claiming that Hulk is old and should leave TNA also which gets a negative reaction from the crowd. Eric says that Ted is right and that Hulk should leave right now.

Hulk says he has power and he isn't leaving. Hulk says Eric may have a fancy title but decisions are 50/50 between them. Hulk explains since Eric isn't talking to Hulk privately anymore that Hulk went above his head right to the Carter Family and booked the first match for Turning Point. Eric is shocked and yells "YOU CANT DO THAT!" Hulk claims he did yesterday and at Turning Point Eric's boy Ted DiBiase Jr is going to have a match. Ted DiBiase Jr nods his head excitedly as Eric smiles and says "Against who?" Hulk continues saying that at Turning Point it will be Sting Vs Ted DiBiase Jr.

Eric flips out yelling at Hulk that Sting is gone and is never coming back. Hulk explains Eric is wrong because Hulk is reinstating Sting right now. Hulk claims Sting will be at Impact Wrestling next week which causes Eric and Ted to react in a negative way. Hulk says in addition to the match at Turning Point it will have a stipulation, Hulk explains that Sting is the greatest World Heavyweight Champion ever and it's a shame he can't challenge for the World Heavyweight Title anymore in TNA. Hulk mentions that if Sting beats Ted DiBiase Jr at Turning Point then Sting will be able to challenge for the TNA World Heavyweight Championship in future. Ted grabs the microphone and says that Sting won't beat him so that's fine. Eric is fuming in the ring as Hulk tells the fans to enjoy the show and leaves as we cut to commercial.

TNA Singles Match:

Austin Aries Vs Manik

As we return from commercial we get a quick clip of what just happened as Manik makes his entrance and quickly enters the ring. He climbs onto the top turnbuckle and poses before back flipping off it to a small reaction from the crowd. Austin Aries is out next as he cockily walks down to the ring but makes sure to high five a few fans before he jumps into the ring and allows himself to be checked by Earl Hebner. Earl calls for the bell as the match starts.

Aries and Manik circle the ring as they both lock up in the centre. Aries quickly turns this into a side head lock and snapmares Manik over before hitting a neck snap on him. As Manik recovers Aries bounces off the ropes and dropkicks him right in the head. Manik rolls to the floor as Aries launches himself over the top rope and onto Manik. The crowd erupt into cheers as Aries rises quickly and high fives some fans at ringside before tossing Manik back in the ring. Manik drops a knee on Aries and starts clubbing him in the back. Manik climbs to the top rope and hits a missile dropkick on Aries knocking him down.

Manik attempts a pin but Aries kicks out at 2. Manik quickly picks Aries up before hitting a Tiger Suplex. He attempts another pin but Austin Aries kicks out at 2. Manik locks in an STF as Aries is clearly in pain referee Earl Hebner asks him if he wants to quit as Aries shouts no and attempts to roll out but Manik has got it locked in too tight. Manik attempts a Tornado DDT but this is countered into a Forward Russian Legsweep. Aries picks Manik up off the mat and this time delivers a Brainbuster right in the middle of the ring. Aries pins Manik and gets a three count as he rises to his feet and begins celebrating the victory

Post match Austin Aries celebrates in the ring as Tenay, Striker and Taz talk about how great he is. Aries leaves the ring and bows to the crowd but not before bowing to the crowd.

Austin Aries defeated Manik

TNA Tag Team Match:

Bad Influence Vs Bromans

Bromans are out first as they cockily strut down to the ring and enter the ring. They happily oblige to referee Earl Hebner checking them for weapons. Bad Influence strut out next as Kazarian looks pumped up with his tag title around his waist. Daniels walks down slower sipping a martini before the two enter the ring and are also checked for weapons. Daniels poses on the turnbuckle for the audience who soundly boo him.

Hebner calls for the bell but Robbie E is busy laughing at Daniels for getting no reaction. Robbie E goes to the top turnbuckle and poses as he also gets booed. Daniels and Robbie both pose on opposite turnbuckles as the crowd erupts into boo's. Robbie E and Daniels then get down to business and lock up. Robbie E attempts to poke Daniels in the eyes but Daniels is expecting it and shakes his finger at Robbie E. Robbie E tries to explain himself but is poked in the eyes himself and whipped off the ropes. Daniels hits a back body drop on Robbie E as Robbie crawls to the corner of Jessie and tags him in. Daniels tags in Kazarian as the two face off.

Kazarian isn't in the mood to mess around as he immediately hip tosses Jessie and dropkicks him in the face. Kazarian yells "COME ON!" and kicks him stiff in the back. Kazarian hits a Tiger Bomb right in the middle of the ring earning himself a 2 count. Jessie isn't even managing to fight back as Kazarian delivers yet another Tiger Bomb before quickly locking in a figure four leglock on Jessie. Jessie screams in agony but gets one arm on the bottom rope. Earl Hebner forces Kazarian to break the hold but Kazarian stomps away at Jessie instead as Tenay suggests the Figure Four is probably a better option compared to getting stomped on.

Kazarian hits an exploder suplex on Jessie before quickly climbing to the top rope and hitting a Senton onto Jessie. Kazarian signals for Daniels who sprints to the other side of the ring knocking Robbie E off the apron. Kazarian delivers the Fade To Black and quickly gets a three count on Jessie.

They stop celebrating as the camera shows both Storm and Gunner on the ramp. Storm has a clip board in his hand as he says that Bad Influence shouldn't enjoy those belts for too long. Storm says he and Gunner have a rematch clause and that the two teams will compete at Turning Point for the TNA World Tag Team Titles. Daniels looks afraid in the ring but Frankie Kazarian has a smirk on his face and is nodding as we cut to commercial

He warms up in the corner as Bully Ray is out next accompanied by Devon. They're both in their old Team 3.D attire and have dropped the Aces and Eights attire. Bully slides into the ring and immediately attacks Eric Young. Brian Hebner starts the match and off we go.

Bully beats the crap out of Eric Young punching him and choking him in the corner. Bully argues with referee Brian Hebner as Devon also chokes Eric Young. Bully screams at the fans as they boo him but this doesn't stop Bully from throwing Eric Young into the corner and open hand chopping him right on the chest. Bully puts Eric Young on the top rope and tosses him straight to the mat before hitting a big elbow drop right onto the chest of Eric Young.

Eric Young is struggling to breathe as Bully continues his vicious assault by hitting a Double Powerbomb on Eric Young. Bully isn't satisfied with that as he hits the unconscious Eric Young with another Double Powerbomb. Bully Ray and Devon laugh at the unconscious Eric Young as Bully stands on Eric's head and high fives Devon.

This match was over pretty quick as Bully puts an end to it by hitting the Bully Bomb and pinning Eric Young. Brian Hebner drops to his knee's and counts the three as Bully keeps pinning Eric Young afterwards getting at least a 10 count. Tenay and Striker are disgusted as Bully gets off him and starts celebrating with Devon. We cut to commercial with Tenay saying that Bully is disgraceful

The team leave as Taz questions who would dare get into the ring with Team 3.D especially after what just happened to Eric Young.

- We cut backstage to Petey Williams who is standing by with Jeremy Borash. Petey is asked about the upcoming match with Alex Shelley for the X-Division Title. Petey says the Ultimate X took a lot out of him but he's taken a few days to relax and prepare for the match tonight and he's confident he can take the TNA X-Division Title from Shelley.

TNA X-Division Championship Match:

Alex Shelley (C) Vs Petey Williams

Petey is out first to a mixed reaction from the crowd. He rushes down and slides into the ring as Shelley's music plays next and out walks a clearly injured Shelley. He has a bandage on his head and one around his leg also as he enters the ring and half heartedly poses on the top turnbuckle. He slowly gets down as referee Brian Stiffler calls for the bell.

Shelley and Petey lock up as Petey immediately goes for the injured leg of Shelley but Shelley does a good job blocking it and drops down landing on top of Petey. Shelley slaps Petey a couple times on the back of the head as the two raise to their feet and stand off. Petey leaps at Shelley throwing multiple right hands at the head of Shelley before whipping him off the ropes and hitting a massive clothesline. Petey climbs to the top rope and delivers a top rope clothesline onto Shelley who is knocked down on the mat. Petey gets a 2 count before quickly running the ropes and hitting a somersault leg drop on Shelley for yet another 2 count.

Petey continues working Shelley down but eventually Shelley cuts Petey off and begins working him down however but clearly his leg is bothering him which Striker points out. Shelley hits a nice stalling suplex on Petey but he grabs at his leg immediately after. Petey rises first as Shelley tries to get feeling in his leg and quickly locks in a one legged boston crab focusing on Shelley's bandaged leg. Shelley is close to submitting but rolls out of it quickly and uses his good leg to kick Petey away but Petey lands on his feet and quickly spring boards off the turnbuckle and hits a diving clothesline on Shelley. Petey poses for the fans and is booed as he quickly picks Shelley up.

Petey attempts the Canadian Destroyer but Shelley is having none of that and sandbags Petey. Shelley quickly rolls Petey up as referee Stiffler drops down and counts to two. Petey kicks out and attempts another clothesline but Shelley ducks and rolls Petey up again. This time Shelley has a hold of the tights and puts his feet on the ropes allowing referee Stiffler to count to three and award the match to Alex Shelley

Alex Shelley defeated Petey Williams to retain the TNA X-Division Championship

- We cut backstage where Eric Bischoff and Ted DiBiase Jr are hanging out in an office. The door knocks as Eric invites whoever is outside in. The man is revealed to be none other then former X-Division Champion Kenny King. King shakes the hand of both Eric and Ted before saying he heard what Eric said earlier on and wants to help Bischoff fight the good fight. Eric takes a moment to think before a smile appears on his face. He explains he needs a right hand man and someone to fetch him coffee every morning. Eric says if King is loyal to Eric then Eric will be loyal to King. King takes a seat on a nearby couch as Eric welcomes him to the team.

- We cut to the back where Jeremy Borash is standing by with both Abyss and James Mitchell. Abyss is looking as angry as a masked man can be as James Mitchell talks about how he and Abyss are now reformed again. Mitchell says Raven and Stevie were pawns in getting the old Abyss back. Mitchell explains that now with Abyss by his side he is unbeatable. Mitchell claims that Abyss will prove his dominance next by defending the TNA Television Title. Abyss yells "KILL!" as we cut to commercial.

TNA Television Championship Match:

Abyss (C) W/ James Mitchell Vs Rob Terry

As we come back from commercial Rob Terry is flexing in the ring and warming up for his match. Abyss' music plays and out he comes with James Mitchell. Mitchell seems to be coaching him before pointing into the ring which causes Abyss to drop the TNA Television Title in the aisle way and run into the ring. He and Terry start to brawl as referee Brian Stiffler calls for the opening bell.

Rob Terry gets an early advantage punching away at the back of Abyss' head and even locking in a head scissors on Abyss but Abyss has no time for any of Terry's shenanigans and quickly gets out of the hold before tossing him into the corner. Abyss runs into the corner and clothesline causing Terry to fall down in pain. Abyss chokes away at Terry with his boot as Terry struggles to breathe. Referee Stiffler eventually breaks it as Abyss intimidates referee Stiffler before picking up Terry and hitting him with a Gorilla Press Slam. Terry grabs at his back in pain as Abyss stomps away at Terry.

Abyss stops stomping Terry before picking him up and whipping him off the ropes connecting with a big boot right to the face. Terry grabs at his face as Abyss looks at James Mitchell who encourages more of a beat down. Abyss continues the assault hitting Terry with a Powerbomb from one corner to the other corner of the ring. Terry is almost unconscious but uses his last bit of energy to throw some weak punches at Abyss' torso. Abyss picks Terry up and slams Terry's head into the turnbuckle multiple times before tossing him into the middle of the ring like a rag doll.

James Mitchell tells Abyss to end it. Abyss whips Terry off the ropes and Terry comes flying back off. He's hit with the Black Hole Slam as Abyss looks over at Mitchell. Mitchell encourages the pin as Abyss puts one foot on Terry. Referee Brian Stiffler drops down and counts to three before calling for the bell and awarding the match to Abyss. Post match James Mitchell enters the ring and starts yelling at Abyss.

Abyss defeated Rob Terry to retain the TNA Television Championship

- Post match Mitchell yells at Abyss "DO IT!" over and over. Abyss nods his head as Mitchell pulls out a bag from his pocket and hands it to Abyss. Abyss opens the bag and pours hundreds of thumbtacks into the ring. Mitchell tells Abyss to "do it" as Abyss grabs Terry and is about to throw him into the tacks the light dim and "Vs The World" plays as Magnus runs down to the ring with a chair in hand. Magnus slides in as Mitchell runs out. Abyss is hit point blank in the head with the chair but he just stumbles back and doesn't fall. Magnus picks Abyss up and scoop slams him into the thumbtacks. Abyss rolls around in agony and rolls to the floor as Magnus tends to Rob Terry. We cut away with Tenay, Striker and Taz saying that if it wasn't for Magnus then Terry could be off to hospital.

- We cut to the back where new TNA Knockouts Champion Velvet Sky is standing by with Jeremy Borash. Borash informs Velvet that tonight Eric Bischoff has booked her in a match against a new Knockout. She's asked if she knows who it may be as Velvet says she has no idea but is always up for a new challenge. Velvet says even though the title isn't on the line she'd put the belt on the line in future if this new Knockout can indeed beat her tonight.

TNA Singles Match:

??? Vs Velvet Sky

Velvet walks down to the ring with the Knockouts Title in hand. She high fives some fans at ringside before sliding into the ring and letting referee Brian Hebner check her for weapons. Velvet warms up in the ring as the lights dim and some congo type music plays. Christy Hemme is also shocked reading the stats. "She weighs in at 250 pounds and stands 6 feet 9 inches, Ladies and Gentlemen this is...Isis!" as the lights turn on completely Isis makes her way to the ring in amazon wear and she is indeed very tall. Isis climbs over the top rope before standing over the 5'5 Velvet Sky. Referee Hebner calls for the bell as the match begins.

Velvet Sky is immediately grabbed and irish whipped. Isis big boots her right in the face and does a double bicep pose which the crowd reacts negatively to. Isis then picks up Velvet Sky and delivers a Chokeslam right in the middle of the ring. She covers Velvet Sky for the three count and probably one of the quicker victories in a while here on Impact.

Post match Isis glares down at Velvet before climbing over the top rope and leaving to the backstage area. Velvet is still down but is moving which Tenay says is a good sign. The announcers take the time to discuss what they just witnessed. Taz asks if he just saw a 6'9 woman for real or if he was dreaming. Tenay says that it was very real and questions who could beat Isis in a 1 on 1 match. Velvet leaves to the back grabbing her throat and looking dejected as we cut to commercial.

Isis defeated Velvet Sky

- We come back from commercial to Jeremy Borash rushing down the hall. He stops and looks up as we see 6'9 Isis. Jeremy Borash asks Isis about how she felt wrestling Velvet Sky but Jeremy is grabbed by the throat and pushed up against a wall. Isis mutters something in a different language before letting go and walking away.

- We cut to the back where Magnus and Samoa Joe are having a conversation in a hall way. Joe asks Magnus what the deal with Abyss is, Magnus responds that he hates people who bully others and that he isn't going to let James Mitchell or Abyss bully other wrestlers. Magnus says he'd love to stay and catch up with Joe but he has to go and have his match now. Magnus wishes Joe luck and Joe does the same for Magnus.

TNA Singles Match:

Chavo Guerrero W/ Anarquia Vs Magnus

Chavo Guerrero and Anarquia make their way out first as they taunt some audience members and slide into the ring. Chavo beats his chest and poses on the top turnbuckle and the audience boo's him. Chavo drops down and does the same pose in the middle of the ring and soaks in the boo's. Next the theme song of Magnus plays and out he walks ready for the match. He high fives fans at ringside and even does a muscle pose for a kid wearing a Magnus shirt. Magnus slides in as Chavo bails out. We have Magnus pose on the turnbuckle which gets a good reaction. He jumps off and is checked for weapons by referee Earl Hebner. Old Earl calls for the bell and we are underway.

Magnus tries to get Chavo into the ring but Chavo is staying on the outside. Magnus' leg is grabbed by Anarquia as Chavo runs into the ring. Anarquia has his hand stomped on as the running Chavo is hit with a massive clothesline. Magnus poses as Chavo rolls to the floor and is tended to by Anarquia. Chavo yells at Magnus from the outside trying to get Magnus to jump out for a 2 on 1 situation but Magnus is having none of that and happily lets Earl Hebner count. As Earl reaches a seven count Chavo rolls back into the ring and is quickly grabbed by Magnus who hits him with a Death Valley Driver. Chavo tries to roll out of the ring but is pinned for a 2 count. As Magnus tries to grab at Chavo the veteran pokes Magnus in the eyes taking charge of the match.

Chavo uses some dirty tactics on Magnus and hits him with the triple suplex that his Uncle made famous. This earns Chavo a 2 count as Chavo quickly locks in a sitting face lock. Taz explains that this move is quite basic but can knock a wrestler out very easily and that is what Chavo is trying to do. He holds the hold for a minute or so before referee Earl Hebner edges in. The hand drops once as Chavo is clearly happy about it. The hand drops a second time as Anarquia claims it's all over. Earl picks the hand up a third time but Magnus has life and quickly gets energy back by working his way up and elbowing Chavo in the ribs multiple times. Chavo is whipped off the ropes by Magnus who hits him with a lariat leaving both men down on the mat.

Chavo is to his feet first but Magnus punches him twice in the stomach and hits him with a powerslam. Magnus recovers quickly this time before picking Chavo up and delivering the Mag Daddy Driver right in the middle of the ring. Magnus has the pin but Anarquia has referee Hebner distracted. Magnus and Anarquia argue as Earl is distracted by Chavo. Anarquia takes advantage of this hitting Magnus with a right hand knocking him back. Chavo rolls up Magnus for the one, two and thr-NO! Magnus kicks out at the last second and has a hold of Chavo's leg. Magnus rolls through with it and locks in a Texas Cloverleaf. Chavo is in pain and quickly submits much to the shock of his Revolution X team mate.

Post match Anarquia enters the ring to interrupt Magnus' celebration but is quickly thrown over the top rope and onto the floor. As Magnus turns around he is met with a big boot to the head from none other then Abyss. Mitchell maniacally laughs on the outside as Magnus is thrown off the ropes and hit with a Black Hole Slam right in the middle. The bloody Abyss removes a single tack from his body and tosses it on top of Magnus. Abyss poses in the ring as Tenay questions the attack on Magnus.

Magnus defeated Chavo Guerrero

- We cut away from Abyss as we see Kurt Angle who is dressed in Jeans and a T-Shirt walking in the back presumably towards the ring. Tenay informs us that Kurt Angle will say what he has to say on the other side of this commercial break.

- As we return from commercial break we're welcomed by the announce team as Kurt Angle's theme hits and out he walks looking very withdrawn. He enters the ring and is immediately handed the microphone by Christy Hemme. A small "Angle" chant starts at ringside as Kurt lets it die down and speaks. Kurt says he's been waiting for months to get this off his chest and says he wants to talk to one man. That man is the new TNA World Heavyweight Champion AJ Styles.

Kurt says he want AJ out here right now and that he doesn't care if he's preparing for tonights match with Joe. AJ Styles walks out in his ring gear looking a tad annoyed as a ring attendant hands him a microphone. AJ asks what Angle wants as Angle explains that back in August he was attacked. Angle points to the screen as we footage from the event

Quote:
Mr Anderson, Knux, Garrett Bischoff and Wes Brisco are outside of a locker room labelled "Kurt Angle" they are armed with hammers. Mr Anderson counts to three as the four enter the room. "He's already down" yells Anderson as we hear a lot of crashing and smashing but don't see anything. A minute later Anderson screams into the locker room "SEE YA TONIGHT KURT!" before laughing and leaving with the rest of his Aces and Eights stable mates.
- The footage stops as Kurt says someone took him out before Aces and Eights even got into the room. Kurt says his memory is foggy and after his injuries from the man it makes it hard to remember but Kurt says he thinks it was AJ who took him out. AJ shakes his head signalling "No" as Kurt says he is 90% sure it was AJ and calls AJ a glory hound. AJ explains to Kurt that it wasn't him and that he is on Kurt's side in all of this. AJ says he destroyed the Aces and Eights and they are gone now because of him.

Kurt informs AJ that for tonight he's off the hook. Kurt says he doesn't remember but mentions that he spoke to Hulk Hogan last night and that Hulk Hogan is speaking with the people at the Salem Civic Centre and will acquire a tape of the incident. Kurt says that Hulk will have the tape next week.

Kurt says that if AJ attacked Kurt just to be the one to save TNA then there will be hell to pay. AJ says he had absolutely no involvement in it and that he loves Kurt like a brother. AJ says he'd love to stay and chat but he has a World Title match to prepare for. AJ leaves as Kurt Angle thanks the fans for listening to him and supporting him throughout his time of need. Kurt says he's here to entertain the fans and to snap ankles. Kurt leaves the ring as a much louder "Angle, Angle, Angle" chant can be heard throughout the McCarthey Athletic Centre. We cut away to commercial as we prepare for the main event.

- Upon return from commercial there is an interview with Samoa Joe who is standing by with Jeremy Borash. Borash asks Joe his thoughts on this upcoming match. Joe says his mission in life is to become TNA World Heavyweight Champion. He wakes up in the morning and he thinks about that, he thinks about it before he sleeps and he dreams about it. Joe explains that the belt means everything to him and tonight he's going to take it. He claims he loves and respects AJ but tonight it's all about the prize.

TNA World Heavyweight Championship Match:

AJ Styles (C) Vs Samoa Joe

We cut to the ring where the lights are dimmed and there is a spot light on Jeremy Borash. Borash does the formal ring introduction stating that this match is for the TNA World Heavyweight Championship. As he says this Samoa Joe's music plays and he walks out with a towel over his head and his head down. He powerfully walks to the ring and enters the ring before throwing the towel into the crowd. Joe does some squats in the corner as "Evil Ways" plays and out comes AJ Styles with the TNA World Heavyweight Title around his waist. AJ walks down to the ring and enters before posing on the top turnbuckle to a big reaction from the crowd. He jumps down as Jeremy Borash introduces both men and also introduces referee Brian Hebner.

Hebner calls for the bell as AJ and Joe start the match out with a handshake. AJ then rushes in and tries to grab Joe's leg but Joe is having none of that as he laughs it off and locks up with AJ. Joe out wrestles AJ and tosses him to the mat quickly locking in a headlock. AJ quickly reverses the headlock and attempts a suplex but he can't lift Joe up. Joe hits a sidewalk slam on AJ before quickly picking him up and delivering a Tiger Bomb into the knees. AJ rolls around in agony on the mat as Joe attempts a pin but only gets a 2 count. Joe hits a Basement Dropkick on AJ earning himself another 2 count before throwing AJ into the corner and kicking him multiple times in the legs and the chest. Joe misses a kick however and his foot hits the ring post which AJ quickly takes advantage of hitting a neckbreaker on Joe.

AJ goes to work on the foot kicking it and using a variety of submission holds on it. Tenay, Striker and Taz discuss whether or not Joe's foot is broken as AJ flies off the top rope and double stomps Joe's left foot. Joe rolls around in agony as AJ props the foot on the ropes and kicks it as hard as he can. The crowd start to boo AJ's actions as he picks Samoa Joe up and performs an atomic drop causing all 280 pounds of Joe's weight to land on his feet. Joe can barely walk at this point as AJ continually stomps the foot working it down even more. Referee Brian Hebner asks Joe if he wants to quit as Joe screams "NO!" AJ attempts a double stomp off the top rope but Joe rolls out of the way causing AJ to collapse in the ring for a second. This allows the one legged Joe to fight back against AJ

Joe forearms AJ multiple times before hip tossing him into the middle of the ring. Joe hits a Senton Bomb but grabs his foot after it. Joe throws AJ into the corner and attempts the Muscle Buster but the pain is too much and he lets go. AJ kicks Joe in the face and attempts a Crossbody but Joe holds on and attempts to Powerbomb AJ but AJ quickly slips out. Trips Joe and locks him in an Ankle Lock. AJ is really wrenching it in as Hebner is asking Joe if he wants to quit. Joe keeps saying no until he passes out cold on the mat. Brian Hebner calls for the bell signalling the end of the match as a very tired AJ breaks the hold.

AJ celebrates his victory in the ring as Tenay says we shouldn't fault AJ for the way he won. Taz says AJ did anything he could to retain the TNA World Heavyweight Title and gives kudos saying it was a great match. Joe has regained consciousness now as he hobbles over to AJ and offers his hand. AJ and Joe shake hands and hug as we cut away from the McCarthey Events Centre

Default Re: TNA 2013 - A New Man In Charge

-411mania.com

- TNA Impact managed a 1.2 rating this week which isn't any higher or lower than the rating last week. The highest rated part of the show was the final 30 minutes which saw Kurt Angle return to TNA and a match between AJ Styles and Samoa Joe for the TNA World Heavyweight Championship

- TNA is promoting Turning Point currently on Spike TV and in International Markets. The match currently being advertised is Sting Vs Ted DiBiase Jr although this is expected to change when more main events are announced.

- Rumours are still circulating in regards to a new TNA Television show. Everybody has been quiet about it but an inside source says that we should all expect an announcement soon in regards to it.

- Eric Bischoff's obsession with competing WWE was taken to another level earlier this week as NXT Wrestler Scott Dawson was the victim of a bidding war between WWE and TNA. Dawson who usually loses his NXT matches was allegedly considering re signing with WWE to continue his training but Bischoff swooped in attempting to lure Dawson to TNA. Dawson wasn't that interested and denied TNA but one has to question why Eric was interested in signing a Midcard NXT talent in the first place.

- Here is the TNA Impact press release for next week:
