12/17 iMPACT! Preview

Turning Point has come and gone, and we are now on the road to Final Resolution!

The wrestling world is still reeling from last Sunday's revelation that STING is coming to TNA! Will we get any more information on Sting's impending arrival this week on iMPACT!?

Christian Cage defeated Monty Brown at Turning Point to become the #1 contender to the NWA World Heavyweight Championship. This week, 'Captain Charisma' goes one on one with one half of the NWA World Tag Team Champions America's Most Wanted, 'The Cowboy' James Storm!

Speaking of championships, a new X Division Champion was crowned last Sunday, as Samoa Joe kept his undefeated streak alive to win the title for the first time from AJ Styles. 'The Samoan Submission Machine' will be in action this week on iMPACT! against the debuting Jay Lethal!

The 4 Live Kru was left in disarray at Turning Point, as Konnan cost them their match against Team Canada by attacking Kip James, before assaulting BG James as well after the match. This week on iMPACT!, the man stuck in the middle of the mess, Ron 'The Truth' Killings, will face 'The Prince of Punk' Shannon Moore!

Tune in THIS SATURDAY at 11/10c on SPIKE TV!

Show has been completed, so should be up soon.

Default Re: 1WhoKnocks Presents Total Nonstop Action Wrestling

Here's my first show. I used the format from Legend's thread, which I thought looked cool. Hope it's OK that I used it.

***

TNA iMPACT! - December 17th, 2005; Orlando, Florida

THIS IS TNA, THE NEW FACE OF PROFESSIONAL WRESTLING...

The show begins with a video package containing highlights of Turning Point last Sunday, showing Sabu defeating Abyss in a Barbed Wire Massacre, Konnan turning on BG James and Kip James and costing the 4 Live Kru their match against Team Canada, Christian Cage defeating Monty Brown to become the #1 contender to the NWA World Heavyweight Championship, Samoa Joe defeating AJ Styles to win the TNA X Division Championship before Christopher Daniels returned and saved Styles from a post-match attack, Team 3D defeating America's Most Wanted in a tables match and Jeff Jarrett retaining the NWA World Heavyweight Championship against Rhino, ending with Sting's scorpion logo appearing.

The opening video plays and the camera then cuts to the iMPACT! Zone. The pyro goes off and the camera pans the crowd who are chanting "TNA!", but before heading over to Mike Tenay and Don West at the announce table...

***TAKE OVER***

The countdown concludes and Christian Cage walks out, getting a big pop from the crowd. Wearing casual clothes, Cage plays to the crowd as he makes his way down the ramp.

Mike Tenay: And here comes the man who will challenge Jeff Jarrett for the NWA World Heavyweight Championship on January 15th at Final Resolution, and the man who we will see in action later on tonight, Christian Cage.

Don West: I think we're looking at the next World Champion, Mike, right there, 'Captain Charisma'.

With an ear-to-ear grin on his face, Cage enters the ring and acknowledges the crowd, before taking a microphone.

Christian Cage: You might be able to tell... that I'm in a pretty good mood tonight.

~ Cheers from the crowd.

Christian Cage: That's because last Sunday at Turning Point, I beat Monty Brown, and now in just under a month at Final Resolution, I am going to become your new NWA World Heavyweight Champion.

~ Huge pop from the crowd.

Christian Cage: The TNA fans have had to withstand Jeff Jarrett...

~ Heavy heat when Jarrett is mentioned, as Cage smirks.

Christian Cage: You've had to withstand Jeff Jarrett for three-and-a-half years. Three-and-a-half years of the same crap. Well I can assure you that Final Resolution, January 15th, is the last time that Jeff Jarrett walks to this ring with that title around his waist.

~ Cheers from the crowd.

Christian Cage: Now I know that on January 15th, there's gonna be a lot of pressure on me, there's gonna be one hell of a burden on my shoulders. A lot of people are gonna be counting on me, a lot of guys in the back, but above all, you, the peeps, are gonna be counting on me.

~ Cheers from the crowd, who begin to chant "Christian Cage!"

Christian Cage: And I can guarantee... that I will not let you down.

~ Big cheers from the crowd.

Christian Cage: At Final Resolution, I'm gonna accomplish two things. Number one... I'm gonna accomplish the one goal that I set for myself when I came to TNA, the one goal that I've had my entire career... to become a World Champion.

~ The crowd start to chant "Next World Champ!"

Christian Cage: And number two... I kill Planet Jarrett.

~ Big pop from the crowd, as Cage nods his head.

Christian Cage: For too long, Jeff Jarrett has walked around here, with America's Most Wanted, and Monty Brown, saying he's the king of the mountain, saying he's the founder of TNA.

~ Boos from the crowd, who obviously don't respect the fact that Jarrett founded the company.

Christian Cage: That's all well and good, but y'see, Jeff Jarrett uses that NWA World Heavyweight Championship as a symbol of power, he doesn't give a damn about what being the World Champion stands for. Well I do.

~ Cheers from the crowd.

Christian Cage: Being the NWA World Heavyweight Champion means that you've worked your ass off, that you've made sacrifices... that you're the best. And newsflash, Jeff: you're not the best.

~ More cheers.

Christian Cage: You've taken the easy way out every single time you've defended that title, well Jeff, it's like this. On January 15th, bring AMW, bring Monty Brown, bring whoever the hell you want, because the end result will be the same... and that's Christian Cage becoming the new NWA World Heavyweight Champion.

~ Big pop from the crowd.

Christian Cage: ... BECAUSE THAT'S...

~ The crowd responds with "How I roll!" and Cage smirks, before dropping the microphone and leaving the ring as his music hits.

Mike Tenay: Christian Cage seems ready to go for Final Resolution already, but he's got a roadblock tonight in the form of 'The Cowboy' James Storm.

Don West: He got one thing right, Mike, we're all gonna be rooting for Christian Cage on January 15th!

Cage reaches the top of the ramp and motions around his waist that he is the next NWA World Heavyweight Champion, before disappearing behind the curtain.

***CRUSH U UP***

The new X Division Champion Samoa Joe walks out, getting a mixed reaction from the crowd. With his title draped over one shoulder and his bloodied towel over both, Joe walks down the ramp with a scowl on his face and enters the ring, posing with a stern look on his face. Meanwhile, the debuting Jay Lethal stands in the corner, looking slightly worried at the challenge that faces him.

1 - Jay Lethal vs. Samoa Joe

Joe and Lethal lock up. Joe overpowers Lethal, forcing him backwards into the corner of the ring. The referee breaks them up, and when he does, Lethal hits Joe with a stiff kick to the leg! This angers Joe, who tries to clothesline Lethal, but he ducks out of the way, and Joe goes into the corner.

Lethal hits Joe with some right hands, before climbing to the second rope. Lethal hits Joe with more blows to the head as the crowd count along, but are forced to stop at eight as Joe lifts Lethal up. Joe walks into the middle of the ring, looking ready to plant Lethal with a powerbomb, but Lethal slips out of it. Lethal lands on his feet behind Joe, and when Joe turns around, Lethal hits him with a dropkick.

Joe backpedals into the ropes. Lethal walks towards Joe and attempts an Irish whip, but Joe counters it into one of his own. Lethal comes back off the ropes, ducking a clothesline attempt from Joe. Lethal runs off the ropes again, and when Joe turns around to face him, Lethal takes Joe down with a crossbody! Lethal makes the cover: 1... Joe throws Lethal off of him! Both men get back to their feet and come to a standstill, the crowd applauding Lethal's efforts thus far.

Lethal runs towards Joe, but is met with a knee to the gut. Joe Irish whips Lethal into the corner. Joe runs at Lethal, but Lethal moves out of the way! Lethal hits Joe with some chops to the chest, before taking a few steps back. Lethal then runs towards Joe, BUT JOE LIFTS LETHAL HIGH INTO THE AIR, AND PLANTS HIM ON HIS HEAD WITH A SIDE SLAM!!

Joe runs off the ropes, AND FOLLOWS UP WITH A RUNNING SENTON, PLANTING ALL OF HIS WEIGHT ONTO LETHAL'S CHEST!!

Joe is feeling it now, and he gets Lethal right back up. Joe positions Lethal in the corner, and bombards him with rapid blows to the head and chest, BEFORE HITTING LETHAL WITH A CCS ENZUIGIRI! Joe lifts Lethal up to the top rope and gets him in position, lifting him up onto his shoulder and walking into the middle of the ring.

Joe stands still for a few seconds with a folded Lethal on his shoulder, BEFORE NAILING LETHAL WITH THE MUSCLE BUSTER!! Immediately after, Joe goes onto his back, AND APPLIES THE COQUINA CLUTCH!! Lethal taps out straight away, and it's all over.

Winner - Samoa Joe @ 3:17.

The referee tries to raise Joe's hand, but backs away after a glare from the X Division Champion. Joe picks up his belt and towel and leaves.

Mike Tenay: Jay Lethal sure didn't disgrace himself, but he picked a bad night to make his TNA debut.

Joe stands at the top of the ramp and shows a slight smirk, before leaving.

*Backstage - Interview Area*

Backstage, Shane Douglas is stood with Christopher Daniels.

Shane Douglas: Ladies and gentlemen, I'm here with 'The Fallen Angel' Christopher Daniels, who made his return to TNA this past Sunday at Turning Point when he attacked the man we just saw in action, Samoa Joe. Is it fair to say that you're back for revenge?

Christopher Daniels: Yeah, that's 'fair to say', Shane Douglas. But more importantly, it's fair to say that Samoa Joe is walking around with my X Division Championship, the title that I put on the map, that I made famous!

~ Mixed reaction from the crowd.

Christopher Daniels: Samoa Joe, you've been walking around for the last month with that little towel, trying to convince yourself that you're better than me, coasting along while I've been gone. I mean, the fact that your biggest challenge while I've been on the sidelines is AJ Styles speaks for itself.

~ Boos from the crowd.

Christopher Daniels: Thanks for keeping the throne warm, Joe... but now I'm back, so it's time for you to step aside. And that's the gospel... according to 'The Fallen Angel'.

~ Daniels walks out of the shot to a mixed reaction from the crowd.

{Commercials}

Back from the break, Shannon Moore is in the ring.

***WHAT’S UP?*** The crowd cheer as Ron Killings walks out. As he walks to the ring, we are treated to a replay of last Sunday at Turning Point, when Konnan turned on The James Gang during The 4 Live Kru's match against Team Canada.

2 - Ron Killings vs. Shannon Moore

The bell rings as Killings is stood on the second rope in the corner of the ring, and Moore takes advantage, ambushing Killings from behind! Moore bombards Killings with stomps, until the referee orders him to take a step back, which Moore reluctantly does.

Killings gets back to his feet, and Moore tries to pick up where he left off, running at Killings and going for a clothesline, but Killings ducks it. Moore turns around, and is met by a dropkick from Killings! The cover is made: 1... Moore kicks out with ease. Both men get back to their feet and Moore is taken down by an arm drag from Killings. Moore gets right back up and runs off the ropes, jumping over Killings who lies on the mat.

Moore comes back off the ropes again, and Killings does the splits, as Moore jumps over him. Moore runs off the ropes yet again, and Killings takes Moore down with an elbow to the face! Killings covers again: 1... 2.. Moore gets the shoulder up.

Killings sits Moore up and runs off the ropes, but Moore slides through Killings' legs and rolls out of the ring, taking a moment to regroup as the crowd boo him. Killings looks around the crowd in the iMPACT! Zone, who begin to cheer, before running across the ring and hitting Moore with a baseball slide!

Moore is sent into the guardrail, and Killings leaves the ring. Killings hits Moore with a few chops to the chest right in front of the fans, before trying to Irish whip Moore into the steel ringpost. However, Moore reverses it with an Irish whip of his own, and Killings is sent shoulder-first into the ringpost!

Killings falls to the floor and clutches his right shoulder in pain, prompting Moore to target it with a flurry of stomps. The referee's count is at six, and Moore rolls back into the ring, looking to go for a countout victory. Moore urges the referee to count faster, but when he reaches nine, Killings makes it back into the ring!

An angry Moore goes back after Killings' shoulder again, hitting it with more stomps before attempting an elbow drop, but Killings moves out of the way! Moore goes down as Killings gets back up, and he takes advantage, performing some theatrics before hitting Moore with a leg drop!

Killings gets back up, and eagerly waits for Moore to get to his feet. Moore gets back to his feet, and when he does, Killings kicks him in the mid-section. Killings runs off the ropes, and goes for the Corkscrew Scissors Kick, but Moore moves out of the way, and Killings crashes to the mat! Killings gets back up, but is immediately grabbed by Moore, who hits Killings with an Exploder Suplex!

Moore gets back up and climbs to the top rope, waiting for Killings to get back up. When Killings eventually does, Moore goes for the Mooregasm, somersaulting through the air, but can't grab hold of Killings' neck, as he sidesteps it, and Moore manages to land on his feet.

However, as soon as he lands on his feet, Killings runs off the ropes, and hits Moore with a corkscrew flying forearm smash! Killings gets up, gets Moore right back up, runs off the ropes, and hits Moore with the corkscrew scissors kick!! Killings covers: 1... 2... 3!!

Winner – Ron Killings @ 4:46.

Killings gets to his feet, and has his hand raised by the referee to cheers from the crowd.

Mike Tenay: There must be a lot on the mind of Ron ‘The Truth’ Killings right now, but he gets the victory over Shannon Moore tonight.

The cheers for Killings suddenly turn to boos as KONNAN walks out with no music, getting heat from the crowd. Konnan makes his way down the ramp and enters the ring, taking a microphone.

Konnan: Shut my music off! Ron, my man, congrats and all that, but I gotta talk to you.

~ Killings audibles for Konnan to continue.

Konnan: Last Sunday at Turning Point... I had to take care of business. I did what had to be done, brother.

~ The crowd boo Konnan, who ignores their reaction to his statement.

Konnan: Kip James... Kip was driving a wedge between the 3 Live Kru, man. And BG is on his side, not ours. You gotta know that I would never do that to you, homes, right hand to God.

~ Killings continues to cut an impressed figure.

Konnan: But Ron... I gotta know. Which side are you on?

~ Killings doesn't answer...

***IN OUR HOUSE***

... and he won't get a chance to, as THE JAMES GANG emerge, wasting no time as they run to the ring, sliding in and exciting the crowd...

Don West: Oh boy, Konnan should have known this was coming, Mike!!

... AND KIP JAMES TAKES DOWN KONNAN!!

Mike Tenay: KIP JAMES ISN'T WASTING ANY TIME TO GET REVENGE!!

The crowd pop as Kip showers Konnan with punches, as BG cheers him on. However, Konnan manages to escape Kip's onslaught and slither out of the ring, drawing boos from the crowd.

Don West: Dammit!! He got away!!

Konnan retreats up the ramp to the back as he shouts at Killings, "This is war! Pick a side!".

Mike Tenay: Something tells me we haven't seen the last of this 'war' between The James Gang and Konnan, Don.

Killings is now left in the ring with The James Gang. Killings awkwardly exchanges looks with BJ and Kip, before leaving the ring as his music hits again.

Don West: Ron Killings doesn't look so sure about which side he's on by the looks of things.

Killings declines to look back at BG and Kip, heading straight backstage.

*Backstage - Interview Area*

Backstage, Jeremy Borash is stood with the NWA World Heavyweight Champion, Jeff Jarrett, who is with the NWA World Tag Team Champions, America's Most Wanted, and Gail Kim.

Jeremy Borash: Jeff Jarrett, at Turning Point you retained your NWA World Heavyweight Champion against Rhino, but also last Sunday night, Christian Cage defeated Monty Brown to become the #1 contender to your title, and will face you with the gold on the line on January 15th at Final Resolution. What are your thoughts?

Jeff Jarrett: My thoughts? I ain't got no thoughts, JB! I'm the NWA World Heavyweight Champion, the king of the mountain, the founder of this company!

~ Boos from the crowd.

Jeff Jarrett: And quite frankly, I couldn't give less of a crap about Christian Cage being the #1 contender to my title! I don't care about what he's done anywhere else, or what he's done since he came to TNA. The fact of the matter is, Christian Cage has never faced Jeff Jarrett, he's never beat Jeff Jarrett, and he never will beat Jeff Jarrett.

~ More heat for Jarrett.

Jeremy Borash: Alright, Jeff, but one last question… Sting. He’s coming to TNA. What are your thoughts?

~ Jarrett stares a hole through Borash for several moments, breathing heavily, before storming off.

Jeremy Borash: Uh, apologies, I must have struck a nerve. Well, America's Most Wanted, you've got your hands full tonight, as James Storm, you go one on one with Jeff's Final Resolution opponent, Christian Cage, in our main event tonight. How are you feeling about it?

James Storm: Well I'm feelin' a little drunk right now, JB.

~ Laughter from the crowd, as Storm looks at his beer bottle.

James Storm: But believe me, Christian Cage is gonna be havin' a lot to drink too after tonight, when I whoop his sorry ass!

~ The laughter turns to boos, as Harris pats Storm on the back.

James Storm: We've been here from day one, and we don't like Christian just walkin' into the house that WE helped build, and havin' these big, fancy opportunities. It's about time that somebody showed his ass how we roll in TNA, and I'm just the man to do it!

~ Harris and Kim both nod in agreement.

James Storm: So Christian Cage... SORRY... 'BOUT YOUR DAMN LUCK!

~ AMW and Kim walk away, as we go to a commercial break.

{Commercials}

*Cut to Video*

Numerous wrestlers and personalities are being questioned about Sting coming to TNA.

Chris Sabin: I'm incredibly excited about Sting coming to TNA, a lot of guys in that locker room, like myself, grew up watching Sting, so it's a big deal.

Monty Brown: Sting's not gonna be around for long, 'cause 'The Alpha Male' Monty Brown is gonna send the Stinger right back through that door with the POOOOUUUUNCE! Period!

Mike Tenay: I think you're gonna see a lot of the wrestlers in TNA raising their game now, because you've got a living legend in Sting coming into that locker room, and you just know that the great young athletes we've got here will want to earn Sting's respect.

Jeff Jarrett: Sting can kiss my ass.

AJ Styles: Everybody knows that Sting is one of the greatest wrestlers of all time, and he's gonna do great things for TNA, no doubt about it.

Rhino: 2006 is gonna be a big year for this company.

Christian Cage: Two words: it's showtime.

*Video Ends*

*Backstage - Interview Area*

Shane Douglas is backstage with Team 3D.

Shane Douglas: I'm here with Team 3D. Brother Ray, Brother Devon, last Sunday at Turning Point you defeated the NWA World Tag Team Champions America's Most Wanted in a tag team tables match, and next month at Final Resolution, you will meet AMW with the titles on the line.

Brother Ray: Damn straight we will, JB. People are talkin' about 2006 bein' the year of Sting, and sure, Sting's a livin' legend, no doubt about it, but I'm makin' a guarantee right now, when the clock strikes midnight, and it's 2007, the TNA fans are gonna remember 2006 as the death of Planet Jarrett!

~ Big cheers from the crowd.

Brother Ray: At Final Resolution, our boy Christian Cage is gonna take that NWA World Heavyweight Championship from Jeff Jarrett...

~ Loud cheers for Cage.

Brother Ray: ... and Team 3D are gonna become the new NWA World Tag Team Champions!

~ More cheers for Team 3D.

Brother Devon: Oh my brother, TESTIFY!

~ The crowd cheer one last time, as Team 3D walk away.

*Backstage - Larry Zbyszko's Office*

Elsewhere, the Director of Authority, Larry Zbyszko, is in his office on the phone, when Raven walks in, with a smirk on his face.

Larry Zbyszko: I'll call you back. What the hell do you want, Raven?

Raven: I don't know, Zbyszko, congratulations perhaps? I put down another one of your boys at Turning Point. By the way, Chris K, wonderful choice.

Larry Zbyszko: Yeah, I know you did. You must be feeling pretty good about yourself right now, huh?

Raven: That wouldn't be too far from the truth.

Larry Zbyszko: Well good, because you've got yourself another match, and it's gonna be at Final Resolution.

~ Cheers from the crowd.

Raven: Wow, you're really enjoying this, aren't you, Zbyszko? Who's it gonna be this time? Tommy Dreamer? Sandman?

Larry Zbyszko: That was my first thought, but y'know what, I'm done looking to the past. All I can say is you're gonna be in for a rough night at Final Resolution, Raven.

~ Raven laughs to himself, before leaving Zbyszko's office.

*Backstage*

Elsewhere, Christian Cage is shown walking to the ring, followed by James Storm in another location, with Chris Harris and Gail Kim at his side, ready for tonight's main event.

Mike Tenay: You see the #1 contender to the NWA World Heavyweight Championship, Christian Cage, you see one half of the NWA World Tag Team Champions America's Most Wanted, 'The Cowboy' James Storm. That can only mean one thing... your iMPACT! main event is coming up, NEXT!!

{Commercials}

"WE FIND THE DEFENDANT, GUILTY!!!"

Boos meet James Storm, as he walks out with Chris Harris and Gail Kim. The trio pose on the stage as their pyro goes off before making their way down the ramp, Storm entering the ring and Harris and Kim stay outside.

***TAKE OVER***

Christian Cage walks out, getting a big pop from the crowd. Wearing a silver and red jumpsuit, Cage makes his way down the ramp and enters the ring, removing his entrance attire and climbing to the second rope in the corner to pose for the crowd. Cage then climbs down and stands in the corner opposite Storm as they stare each other down.

3 - Main Event
Christian Cage
vs. James Storm

Cage and Storm lock up. Storm applies a standing headlock to Cage, until Cage pushes Storm away into the ropes. Storm comes back off the ropes, and Cage takes Storm down with a shoulder block. Cage gets Storm back up, and goes for an Irish whip, but Storm reverses it into one of his own. Cage comes back off the ropes, and Storm takes Cage down with a shoulder block, giving Christian a taste of his own medicine.

Cage gets back up and the two competitors come to a standstill, as the crowd cheer. They lock up again, and Storm moves behind Cage, wrapping his arms around his waist. Cage breaks out of it with an elbow, which sends Storm backpedalling.

Storm comes running back towards Cage, but gets knocked down by an uppercut! Cage makes the first pin attempt of the match: 1... Storm kicks out with ease.

Cage gets Storm back up, but gets an eyerake, which gets boos from the crowd and a talking-to from the referee. Storm hits Cage with some right hands, getting him into the corner of the ring.

Storm hits Cage with some stomps to the mid-section, which cause Christian to sink down to a seated position in the corner. Storm presses his boot against Cage's throat, until the referee reaches the count of four and he reluctantly lets go.

Storm gets Cage up to his feet, hitting him with some shoulder thrusts to the mid-section. Storm takes a few steps back, before running towards Cage, but Christian dodges him, quickly moving out to the ring apron.

Storm manages to stop himself from running into the turnbuckles, but when he turns to face Cage, he gets sent backwards by a thunderous slap from Christian!!

Cage makes his way to the top rope, but as soon as he does, Storm runs towards the ropes and shakes them, causing Christian to lose his balance and fall to the mat. Storm makes the cover: 1... 2.. Cage kicks out.

Storm gets Cage up, and Irish whips him into the ropes. However, instead of rebounding off them, Cage holds onto the ropes to stop himself. Storm subsequently runs towards Cage, but Christian holds the top rope down, and Storm goes tumbling out of the ring!! Storm lands right in front of Chris Harris and Gail Kim.

Harris and Kim help Storm to his feet, telling him to regroup. However, before they can get Storm back in the ring, Cage climbs to the top rope, prompting Kim to frantically move out of the way, AND CHRISTIAN FLIES THROUGH THE AIR, TAKING OUT STORM AND HARRIS WITH A CROSSBODY TO THE OUTSIDE!!

The crowd go wild, chanting "TNA!" as Cage, Harris and Storm lie in a pile on the outside of the ring. Cage is the first one to get up, and when he does he slaps his chest multiple times, drawing more cheers from the crowd. Cage gets Storm up to his feet and lifts him back into the ring.

Before Christian can get back into the ring, though, Harris grabs hold of his foot, stalling him. Harris uses Cage as leverage to get back up, but as soon as he does, Christian knocks him back down with a right hand!

Cage then re-enters the ring, but is greeted by a drop toe hold from Storm. The Cowboy quickly traps Christian's arm in between his legs, performing applying a crossface!!

Cage writhes in pain, waving his arms around in desperation, which brings a smile to the face of Storm. The crowd try to spur Christian on, chanting his name, and after almost thirty seconds of being trapped in the hold, Cage manages to get a foot on the ropes!!

The iMPACT! Zone faithful breathe a collective sigh of relief, as Storm releases the hold after the referee's count of three. Storm gets Cage up and applies a front facelock.

Storm lifts Cage into the air for a suplex, but Christian manages to slip out of it, landing on his feet behind Storm, and immediately rolling The Cowboy up with a schoolboy!

1...

2...

NO!!

Storm kicks out, but that was a close one. Both men get back to their feet and appear to have the same idea, simultaneously going for a clothesline, and knocking each other out!! Cage and Storm lie in the ring as the majority of the crowd get behind Christian, with a minority supporting Storm.

Cage and Storm eventually get back up, and begin to exchange right hands. Cage gains the upper hand, stringing together some consecutive shots. Christian then runs off the ropes, but has his foot grabbed by Harris!!

Cage turns to look at The Wildcat, threatening him, but when he turns back around, Storm nails him with a double-knee facebreaker!! Harris and Kim celebrate, thinking the match is in the bag, as Storm hooks the leg.

1...

2...

3- NO!!

Christian gets the shoulder up!! Storm can't believe it, and protests at the referee, before turning his attention back to the match. Storm gets to his feet and stands in the corner, waiting for Cage to get up. Captain Charisma makes it back to his feet, and Storm goes for the Last Call, but Christian ducks it, kicks Storm in the mid-section, AND PLANTS STORM WITH A DDT!!

Cage makes the cover:

1...

2...

3- NO!!

Another near fall!! This time it's Storm who narrowly stays in the match. Cage, on his knees, claps his hands together, getting the crowd clapping along with him. Christian gets up and gets Storm up, twisting him around to go for the Unprettier, but Storm pushes him away into the corner.

When Cage reaches the corner, he jumps to the second rope. This draws Storm in, who stumbles towards the corner. The Cowboy is met with a boot to the face from Christian, who then applies a front facelock, before going for a Tornado DDT, but Storm pushes Cage away in mid-air!! Cage goes crashing down to the mat, and Storm senses another opening here.

When Christian gets back up, Storm goes for the Last Call once again, but this time Cage catches his boot. Christian spins Storm around one-eighty degrees, grabs his arms, twists him around, AND NAILS STORM WITH THE UNPRETTIER!! Christian makes the cover:

1...

2...

3!!!

Winner - Christian Cage @ 9:42.

Cage slowly gets to his feet and has his hand raised by the referee to a big pop from the crowd. Cage climbs to the second rope in the corner and raises his hands in the air, but the cheers turn to boos...

...AS CHRIS HARRIS ATTACKS CAGE FROM BEHIND!!

Mike Tenay: Oh give me a break!! Your partner lost, Chris Harris, get over it!!

The boos intensify as Harris beats Cage down, and Storm eventually recovers and joins in. They take turns in pummeling Christian with stomps...

***WATCH OUT, WATCH OUT***

TEAM 3D MAKE THEIR WAY OUT AND RUN TO THE RING, ATTACKING AMW!!

Don West: AND HERE COME THE CAVALRY!!

The iMPACT! Zone erupts with cheers as Brother Ray and Brother Devon exchange blows with Harris and Storm...

BUT GAIL KIM ENTERS THE RING, AND LOW BLOWS BROTHER RAY!!

Mike Tenay: DAMMIT!!

The boos return as Ray drops to his knees, AND STORM KNOCKS RAY DOWN WITH A LAST CALL SUPERKICK!!

AMW then begin to double-team Devon, knocking him down to the floor courtesy of a ferocious right hand from Harris. However, Cage gets involved again, picking a fight with Storm...

***STAMPEDE***

Mike Tenay: Here we go!! Here comes 'The War Machine'!!

RHINO emerges and sprints down the ramp, sliding into the ring...

...AND HITTING CHRIS HARRIS WITH A GORE!!

Don West: GORE!! GORE!! GOOOOOORE!!

The deck is momentarily stacked against James Storm, who is alone in the ring as Gail Kim quickly flees. The crowd react with cheers, but they begin to boo...

...WHEN MONTY BROWN RACES OUT TO THE RING, AND NAILS BROTHER DEVON WITH THE POUNCE!!

Mike Tenay: Well so much for strength in numbers, Monty Brown 'saving the day' for Planet Jarrett!!

Cage and Rhino stand opposite Brown and Storm, and they begin to fight, as all hell breaks loose again!! Rhino and Brown fight in the corner, as Cage and Storm slug it out in the middle of the ring, picking up where they left off. Storm goes for a clothesline, but Cage ducks it, kicks Storm in the gut, and plants him with a DDT!!

The crowd cheer, and meanwhile, Rhino clotheslines Brown over the top rope, taking BOTH MEN out of the ring!!

Don West: Monty Brown and Rhino are out of the ring, could we see ANOTHER Unprettier to James Storm?!!

Mike Tenay: I sure hope so, Don!!

Cage eagerly waits for Storm to get back to his feet, as the crowd begin to clap their hands, but they stop, and begin to boo...

...WHEN JEFF JARRETT SLITHERS INTO THE RING WITH A GUITAR IN HAND!!

Mike Tenay: OH NO!! JARRETT WITH THE GUITAR!! DON'T TURN AROUND, CHRISTIAN!!

Cage does not heed Tenay's advice. Sensing something is up, Cage turns around, and when he does... WHAM!!!

JARRETT SMASHES THE GUITAR OVER CHRISTIAN CAGE'S SKULL!!!!!

Don West: OHHHHH JARRETT WITH THE GUITAR!!!!

Mike Tenay: SON OF A BITCH!!

Cage falls lifelessly to the floor, as Brown re-enters the ring, followed in by Rhino, but as soon as Rhino is back in, JARRETT NAILS RHINO WITH A LOW BLOW KICK!!

Monty Brown can taste blood, and he runs off the ropes...

...HITTING RHINO WITH THE POUNCE!!

Mike Tenay: AND A POUNCE FOR RHINO FROM THE ALPHA MALE!!

Rhino joins Cage on the floor, and Harris and Storm re-emerge, Harris holding his mid-section and Storm his head. Harris and Storm call urgently for their NWA World Tag Team Championship belts, receiving them from a startled David Penzer. AMW wait for Team 3D to re-emerge, which they eventually do, crawling back into the ring. As soon as they get back to their feet...

...HARRIS AND STORM RACE FORWARD, SIMULTANEOUSLY WIPING OUT RAY AND DEVON WITH THE TITLE BELTS!!!!!

Mike Tenay: Enough is enough already!!

Heat pours into the ring as Planet Jarrett stand tall. Gail Kim enters the ring and hands Jarrett the NWA World Heavyweight Championship belt which he gave to her before entering the ring to attack Cage. Cage, Rhino and Team 3D lie motionlessly on the mat as Jarrett, Brown, Harris, Storm and Kim raise each other's hands in the air to provide the closing image of the show.

Mike Tenay: Well, it's not the way we wanted to close tonight's broadcast... but there you have it, folks. Planet Jarrett standing tall. Goodnight, everybody.

12/24 iMPACT! Preview

The road to Final Resolution continues this Thursday on iMPACT!

In this week's main event, the #1 contenders to the NWA World Tag Team Championships, Team 3D, face Bobby Roode and Eric Young of Team Canada! With their title shot against America's Most Wanted at Final Resolution looming, can Team 3D pick up a big victory and gather some momentum?

We will hear from the NWA World Heavyweight Champion Jeff Jarrett, who will undoubtedly have a lot on his mind with his title defence against Christian Cage at Final Resolution on January 15th and the news that Sting is coming to TNA!

'The Fallen Angel' Christopher Daniels will compete in his first match since Genesis, as he faces the debuting Kenny King! Can Daniels send a message to the man who put him on the shelf for a month, the undefeated 'Samoan Submission Machine' and X Division Champion, Samoa Joe?

The war between Director of Authority Larry Zbyszko and Raven is far from over, and as we learned last week, Raven will face another opponent of Zbyszko's choosing at Final Resolution, but Zbyszko has stated that it will NOT be someone from Raven's past! This week on iMPACT!, Raven goes one on one with 'The Prince of Punk' Shannon Moore!

Tune in THIS SATURDAY at 11/10c on SPIKE TV!

Show has been completed, expect it up very soon.

TNA iMPACT! - December 24th, 2005; Orlando, Florida

THIS IS TNA, THE NEW FACE OF PROFESSIONAL WRESTLING...

The show begins with a recap of last week's main event between Christian Cage and James Storm, with Cage coming out on top, followed by Jeff Jarrett smashing a guitar over Cage's head, which led to chaos in the ring with Planet Jarrett standing tall at the end of the show.

Afterwards, the opening video plays and the camera cuts into the iMPACT! Zone as the pyro goes off and the crowd cheer. We then head to the announce table with Mike Tenay and Don West.

Mike Tenay: Tonight, Team 3D face Bobby Roode and Eric Young of Team Canada! Plus, 'The Fallen Angel' Christopher Daniels and Raven are in action! Welcome to TNA iMPACT! on Spike TV, Mike Tenay and Don West here as always, and Don, to say last week's show was chaotic would be an understatement.

Don West: That's right, Mike, it started with the altercation between The James Gang and Konnan, with Ron 'The Truth' Killings stuck in the middle, and then all hell broke loose at the end of the show between Planet Jarrett and Christian Cage, Rhino and Team 3D.

***SCREAM*** Raven walks out, to a good reaction from the crowd. Raven strikes his signature pose before walking down the ramp and entering the ring. Raven poses again, and then stands in the corner opposite Shannon Moore, who is already in the ring.

1 - Raven vs. Shannon Moore

Raven and Moore lock up. Moore applies a side headlock to Raven and follows up with a takedown. A few seconds later, Raven gets back to his feet and attempts a back suplex, but Moore flips back and lands on his feet behind Raven.

Moore then runs off the ropes, but is floored by a clothesline from Raven. Raven makes the cover: 1... Moore kicks out. Raven gets Moore back up and wrenches his arm around. Moore rolls forward and reverses it into an armdrag. Raven gets back up, only to be hit with a dropkick.

Moore then raises his hands in the air looking very pleased with himself, as the crowd boo him. Moore runs off the ropes, and goes for a somersault leg drop, but Raven rolls out of the way. When both men are back up, Raven kicks Moore in the mid-section. Raven hits Moore with some right hands, before Irish whipping him into the ropes.

Moore comes back off the ropes, and slides through Raven's legs. Moore gets back up, and when Raven turns around, Moore jumps up, wraps his legs around Raven's head and takes him down with a hurricanrana! Moore holds onto Raven's legs, covering him: 1... 2.. Raven kicks out.

Moore gets Raven back up, taking him over to the corner of the ring. Moore hits Raven with some stomps to the mid-section, before climbing to the second rope. Moore hits Raven with some right hands, with a handful of fans counting along. After eight, Moore takes an opportunity to gloat again, posing for the crowd.

That proves to be an error, as Raven lifts Moore up, but instead of hitting a powerbomb, drops Moore backwards, face-first into the top turnbuckle!! Raven drags Moore into the middle of the ring and covers him:

1...

2...

Moore kicks out!

Raven gets back to his feet, and when he does, the crowd begin to boo, as the Director of Authority, LARRY ZBYSZKO, walks out onto the stage. Raven smirks when he sees Zbyzko, trading words with him, but while he is preoccupied, Moore gets back to his feet, and hits Raven with a neckbreaker!!

Moore makes the cover, as Zbyszko hopes for this to be the end of the match:

1...

2...

NO!! Raven gets the shoulder up!!

Zbyzko shakes his head in disappointment, and Moore then sets his sights high. Moore climbs to the top rope, and goes for the Halo... but Raven moves out of the way! Moore writhes in pain, clutching his back after hitting the mat.

Raven is the first back up, and as soon as Moore gets back up, Raven kicks him in the mid-section. Raven applies a front facelock, and points to Zbyszko, before hitting Moore with the Raven Effect!! Raven makes the cover:

1...

2...

3!!

Winner - Raven @ 4:22.

Raven gets to his feet and has his hand raised by the referee to cheers from the crowd, as Zbyszko continues to watch from the stage.

Mike Tenay: Raven picks up the victory over Shannon Moore, and it's a sweet one too, with Raven's arch-nemesis, Larry Zbyszko, watching from the stage!

Raven poses whilst staring directly at Zbyszko, who tells Raven that it won't be as easy at Final Resolution before leaving.

*Backstage - Parking Lot*

The camera is situated in the parking lot, just as a black Hummer pulls up. Moments later, PLANET JARRETT emerge from the vehicle, getting a lot of heat from the crowd. AMW, Brown and Kim seem in high spirits, whereas Jarrett does not.

***MY WORLD***

The crowd boo as Jeff Jarrett walks out, followed by America's Most Wanted, Gail Kim and Monty Brown. Holding his NWA World Havyweight Championship over his shoulder, Jarrett walks down the ramp with AMW, who also have their titles, Brown and Kim in tow. They enter the ring, and Jarrett snatches a microphone.

Jeff Jarrett: I know that it's Christmas Eve... but I'm not in a very festive mood tonight.

~ The crowd cheer, as Monty Brown shakes his head.

Jeff Jarrett: Now I know what you're thinkin'. I should be in a festive mood. After all, I'm the founder of this company, and the NWA World Heavyweight Champion.

~ The rest of Planet Jarrett nod their heads.

Jeff Jarrett: But I'm not. And d'you wanna know why? It's 'cause ever since Turning Point, all I've been hearin' around here is one name, and one name only.

~ The crowd cheer, knowing who Jarrett is referring to.

Jeff Jarrett: And that man... is Sting.

~ Big pop from the crowd when Sting is mentioned.

Jeff Jarrett: That's right, give it up for Sting! The man who has done so much for this company!

~ The crowd continue to cheer, chanting "Sting!" as Jarrett shakes his head in disgust.

Jeff Jarrett: It's not like I'm the reason you have a show to watch tonight!

~ Brown takes a microphone.

Monty Brown: I'm sorry to cut you off, Jeff, but I've got something to say to these people... as we all know, Christmas is the season of giving. So how about each and every one of you get up on your feet and GIVE your NWA World Heavyweight Champion, Jeff Jarrett, a round of applause!

~ Barely anybody does, booing Jarrett, while the rest of Planet Jarrett applauds. Brown steps back behind Jarrett.

Jeff Jarrett: Thank you, Monty, but these people don't listen. They'd rather get down on their knees and worship a guy who hasn't done a damn thing in five years than show the founder of this company and the best in this business the respect he deserves!

~ More heat for Jarrett.

Jeff Jarrett: Everybody's gettin' all excited about Sting comin' to TNA, but it's been nearly two weeks since Turning Point, and nobody's heard a damn thing from him since! D'you know what that means? Well I do. 'The Alpha Male' Monty Brown knows.

~ Heat for Brown, who grins.

Jeff Jarrett: The NWA World Tag Team Champions, America's Most Wanted, Chris Harris and James Storm know too.

~ Heat for AMW, who nod their heads in unison.

Jeff Jarrett: Gail Kim knows.

~ More heat for Kim.

Jeff Jarrett: And it's about time that all of you people knew too. 'Cause y'see, the fact of the matter is... Sting ain't comin' to TNA.

~ Boos from the crowd, who chant "We want Sting!"

Jeff Jarrett: Well if ya' want Sting, I can tell ya' that's one thing you won't be gettin' from Santa Claus tomorrow morning!

~ More heat for Jarrett, as he and the rest of the group laugh.

Jeff Jarrett: And speaking of things people won't be gettin'... Christian Cage.

~ Big pop when Cage is mentioned.

Jeff Jarrett: Christian, Christian, Christian... loved your little speech last week. Lifelong dream, killin' Planet Jarrett, bein' the best. You've got these people pretty excited, ain't ya'?

~ Cheers from the crowd.

Jeff Jarrett: Well y'know what, Christian Cage, you said you had a 'newsflash' for me, well guess what, I've got a newsflash of my own for you too; you've got one hell of a mouth on ya', but when it comes to bein' in between these ropes, NOBODY measures up to the king of the mountain!

~ Heat from the crowd.

Jeff Jarrett: I'm gonna be bringin' this NWA World Heavyweight Championship into Final Resolution, and I'm gonna be walkin' out with it too. But as far as you're concerned, Christian... you'll be walkin' out with a one-way ticket back to Stamford.

~ Jarrett laughs to himself and drops the microphone, as Planet Jarrett leave the ring.

Mike Tenay: Well, Christian Cage and Jeff Jarrett both believe that it's a guarantee that they'll emerge as the winner at Final Resolution.

Don West: Something's gotta give on January 15th!

~ Jarrett and AMW hold their titles in the air as Brown and Kim watch on approvingly, before the group disappear.

***MANSON***

Christopher Daniels
walks out, getting a mixed reaction from the crowd. Daniels makes his way down the ramp and poses on the ring apron, before entering the ring and removing his entrance attire. The debuting Kenny King is already in the ring.

2 - Christopher Daniels vs. Kenny King

Daniels and King lock up. King floats over behind Daniels and grabs his waist. King lifts Daniels off his feet, rotates around and plants him on the ground. King applies a headlock, until Daniels gets back to his feet and pushes King away into the ropes. King comes back, and Daniels attempts a hip toss, but King floats over and hits Daniels with a hip toss of his own.

Daniels gets back up with a smirk on his face, impressed by King's start to the match. Daniels stretches his arms out, looking like he wants to lock up again, but catches King off guard with a kick to the mid-section. Daniels gets King in the corner and hits him with some forearms, followed by a flurry of chops.

Daniels takes a few steps back before running towards King, going for a knee to the face, but King steps out of the way. Daniels lands on the second rope, and goes for a moonsault press, but King again dodges it. Daniels lands on his feet and is getting visibly irritated with King's evasiveness.

A flustered Daniels runs at King, going for a clothesline, but King ducks it, and hits Daniels with a spinning wheel kick! King makes the first pin attempt of the match: 1... 2.. Daniels kicks out. King gets Daniels up, and applies a front facelock.

King tries to lift Daniels up for a suplex, but Daniels keeps himself grounded by wrapping his right leg around King's. Daniels hits King with a handful of blows to the mid-section, breaking out of the front facelock.

King tries to regain control, running off the ropes and towards Daniels, but Daniels hits King with a STO! Daniels pins King: 1... 2... King kicks out!

Daniels gets King up, and places his head in between his legs. Daniels hooks his arms, looking to go for the Angel's Wings, but King reverses it with a back body slam! Daniels gets back up, but walks into a small package from King: 1... 2.. Daniels kicks out.

Both men get back up, and Daniels goes for a clothesline, but King ducks it and rolls up The Fallen Angel with a schoolboy this time: 1... 2... Daniels kicks out again!

They get to their feet once again and Daniels goes for a boot to the mid-section, but King catches his boot. King pushes Daniels' boot away, turning him 180 degrees, and grabs his arms back-to-back, pinning him again with a backslide! 1... 2... Daniels kicks out once again!

Daniels and King get back up again and come to a standstill and the crowd cheer, trading chants of "Let's go, Daniels!" and "Let's go, King!" Daniels motions for the audience to keep cheering for King, but when Kenny gets distracted by the ovation, Daniels races forward and knocks him down with a clothesline!

Daniels bombards King with stomps, before going to ground and hitting him with repeated blows to the head. Daniels gets King to his feet and lifts him onto his shoulders. However, King slips out of it, lands behind Daniels, and immediately hits Daniels with a Russian leg sweep!

King makes the cover:

1...

2...

3- NO!! Daniels gets the shoulder up!!

King came close there. The youngster gets to his feet, rallying the crowd who begin to cheer. King climbs to the top rope, but when he gets up there, Daniels gets up, runs forward and clocks King with a rope-assisted enzuigiri!!

King falls down, flipping through the air and landing on his back. Daniels seizes the opportunity, jumping to the second rope, then to the top rope, AND HITTING KING WITH THE BEST MOONSAULT EVER!!

Daniels hooks the legs:

1...

2...

3!!

Winner - Christopher Daniels @ 5:35.

Daniels has his hand raised by the referee, to a mixed reaction from the crowd.

Mike Tenay: Christopher Daniels gets the win, but what an impressive debut from Kenny King.

Don West: No doubt about it, Mike, he gave one of the greatest X Division wrestlers in TNA history a run for his money here tonight.

Daniels then races over to King, and gets him to his feet. The crowd begin to boo, thinking that he is going to do further damage... but instead, Daniels extends his hand to King! The boos turn to cheers, and King accepts the handshake. Daniels then raises King's hand in the air, before the youngster leaves the ring.

Mike Tenay: 'The Fallen Angel' Christopher Daniels showing some class, he must really be in a festive mood tonight!

Daniels picks up a microphone.

Christopher Daniels: It's now time for the gospel, according to 'The Fallen Angel'. Samoa Joe, we all know that you're keeping that X Division Championship warm for Christopher Daniels. And Joe, I'm putting you on notice that I intend on taking it back at-

***I AM***

Daniels is cut off when AJ Styles walks out, getting a great reaction from the crowd. Styles walks to the ring, and grabs a microphone.

AJ Styles: Whoa, hold on a second, Daniels. If anybody is gonna end Samoa Joe's streak and win that X Division Championship, it's AJ Styles!

~ Cheers from the crowd.

Christopher Daniels: Oh yeah? That right?

~ Styles nods his head.

Christopher Daniels: Well too little too late, AJ! You had your chance to beat him at Turning Point, and you proved you couldn't get the job done! If it wasn't for me saving your ass from Samoa Joe, you wouldn't be here tonight!

~ Styles appears to be on the verge of attacking Daniels, but restrains himself.

AJ Styles: Y'know know what? You're right. I didn't. But I know that I can beat Samoa Joe, and I know that's exactly how you feel too, Chris, so here's a solution for ya'.

Christopher Daniels: I'm listening.

AJ Styles: Next week, right here on iMPACT!, we close 2005 with a bang. You and me, Daniels, one on one...

~ Cheers from the crowd.

AJ Styles: ... and the winner faces Samoa Joe for the X Division Championship at Final Resolution.

~ HUGE pop from the crowd.

AJ Styles: Then we'll see who gets the job done.

~ Styles drops the microphone and leaves the ring as his music hits again.

Mike Tenay: Did you hear that, Don?! AJ Styles versus Christopher Daniels, right here on iMPACT! next week, winner challenges Samoa Joe for the X Division Championship at Final Resolution!

Don West: These two men have had classic matches in the past, Mike, and we're gonna get another one next week! I can't wait!

~ Styles poses on the stage, drawing cheers from the crowd. AJ then has a long-distance staredown with Daniels, who is still in the ring, before leaving.

*Backstage - Interview Area*

Shane Douglas is stood with Team Canada.

Shane Douglas: I'm here with Team Canada. Scott D'Amore, tonight Bobby Roode and Eric Young take on Team 3D. How are you feeling going into this match?

Scott D'Amore: I, or should I say we, have a lot to get off our chests, Shane Douglas. Team 3D! Ever since you walked into TNA you've had the proverbial red carpet laid down for you. And now at Final Resolution, Larry Zbyszko, has given you two a shot at the NWA World Tag Team Championships. But here's how it's gonna go tonight, gentlemen; Bobby Roode and Eric Young, two of the finest athletes in the world, let alone Canada...

~ Roode and Young both smirk.

Scott D'Amore: ... are gonna kick your fat, overrated, overpaid asses to every corner of the iMPACT! Zone and back, and when they're done, Larry Zbyszko will have a lot to think about. Bobby, Eric, let's go.

~ D'Amore leads Roode and Young out of the picture, A-1 and Williams heading in the opposite direction, as the screen fades.

{Commercials}

***OH CANADA***

Team Canada
walk out, getting boos from the crowd. Scott D'Amore, carrying a Canadian flag, leads Bobby Roode and Eric Young down the ramp and gives Roode and Young one final pep talk before the duo enter the ring.

Mike Tenay: It's now time for our iMPACT! main event of the evening, and Scott D'Amore sounded very confident that Bobby Roode and Eric Young of Team Canada would emerge victorious from this match before the break.

***WATCH OUT, WATCH OUT***

Team 3D
walk out to a big ovation from the crowd. Brother Devon and Brother Ray pose on the stage as their pyro goes off before making their way down the ramp and into the ring, both of them posing on the second rope in opposite corners of the ring.

Before the match can get underway...

"WE FIND THE DEFENDANT, GUILTY!!!"

The NWA World Tag Team Champions, AMERICA'S MOST WANTED, make their way out, to boos from the crowd. Chris Harris and James Storm, accompanied by Gail Kim, make their way to their announce table.

Mike Tenay: Well we're getting set for our iMPACT! main event here, but... America's Most Wanted, the NWA World Tag Team Champions, have decided to join us.

James Storm: We ain't joinin' you, we're takin' your places.

Chris Harris: Move.

~ Tenay and West remain in their positions.

Chris Harris: MOVE!!

~ The startled commentators get up and stand a few feet away, as Harris and Storm take their places at the announce table. Team 3D look over, tempted to leave the ring and attack AMW.

James Storm: The hell you lookin' at?!

Chris Harris: They got a lot more to worry about tonight than us.

James Storm: Damn straight, them Team Canada boys got talent.

3 - Main Event
Team 3D
vs. Team Canada

Brother Devon and Eric Young start off the match. Devon and Young lock up, and Devon immediately overpowers Young, pushing him to the ground. A startled Young retreats into his corner of the ring and slaps Roode on the shoulder, tagging him in.

An unimpressed Roode enters the ring and locks up with Devon himself. This time, Devon does not overpower his opponent, and Roode breaks the lock-up with a kick to the mid-section. Roode hits Devon with some right hands, getting him in the corner of the ring. Roode goes for a kick to the gut, but Devon catches his leg.

Devon walks into the middle of the ring holding onto Roode's leg, as he jumps up and down on one leg. Devon pulls Roode in, and flattens him with a clothesline! Devon covers: 1... Roode kicks out.

Devon gets Roode to his feet and takes him over to the corner where Ray is stood. Devon tags Ray in, and they take turns at stomping Roode in the corner. Devon exits to the ring apron, leaving Ray with Roode who is in a seated position.

Ray gets Roode to his feet and hits him with a European uppercut, sending Roode backpedalling into the ropes. Ray runs towards Roode, but The Canadian Enforcer holds down the top rope and sends Ray out of the ring!

Roode climbs out onto the ring apron, and waits for Ray to get up. When he gets back to his feet, Roode jumps off the ring apron, hitting Ray with a double axehandle smash to the head and knocking him back down!

Scott D'Amore, stood a few feet away, cheers Roode on. Roode re-enters the ring, immediately grabbing the referee's attention. While Roode has the referee distracted, D'AMORE REACHES UNDER THE RING AND WIELDS A STEEL CHAIR!!

D'Amore holds the chair in the air, about to hit Ray... but D'Amore is stopped by Devon, who tears the chair away from him!! Devon looks around the iMPACT! Zone as the crowd cheer him on, telling him to hit D'Amore with the chair. However, before he can, Young races over and stands in between Devon and D'Amore!!

The crowd boo, wanting to see D'Amore get hit. Ray re-enters the ring as the referee goes in the opposite direction, taking the chair from Devon and putting it back under the ring. However, meanwhile in the ring, Ray gets to his feet, AND IS LOW BLOWED BY ROODE!!

Roode runs off the ropes, as the referee re-enters the ring. Roode comes back off the ropes, charging towards Ray, and hits him with a running neckbreaker!! Roode makes the cover:

1...

2...

NO!! Ray kicks out!!

Roode gets up and goes to his corner, tagging in Young. Young enters the ring and immediately hits Ray with an elbow drop to the chest. Young gets back up, and hits another elbow drop, before doing the same for a third time. Young covers:

1...

2...

NO!! Ray kicks out again!!

Young sits Ray up, and applies a headlock. The crowd begin to clap and chant "Let's go, Ray!", spurring Ray on. Ray manages to get back to his feet, hitting Young with some elbows to the mid-section. Young releases the hold as a result, and when he goes for a kick to the gut, Ray catches his leg.

Ray pushes Young's leg aside and grabs him by the head, hitting with a bionic elbow, performing some theatrics before performing a final elbow which knocks Young down! Ray goes over to the corner, tagging in Devon which is greeted with cheers from the crowd.

Devon enters the ring, and Ray runs over to the opposite corner, knocking Roode off the apron! When Ray returns, Young is on his feet, but not for long, as Ray lifts him up and plants him back down with a scoop slam.

Ray stays in the ring, holding Young's legs open as Devon climbs to the top rope. Ray and Devon exclaim "WAZUUUUUUP!" and Devon flies from the top rope, hitting Young with a headbutt in between the legs!!

The referee orders Ray out to the ring apron, as Devon gets Young up. Devon Irish whips Young into the ropes, as Roode gets back onto the ring apron just in time to tag himself in by slapping Young's back. Ray re-enters the ring, AND TEAM 3D NAIL YOUNG WITH THE 3D!!

Devon makes the cover... but the referee doesn't count!! Roode slithers into the ring as the ref informs Devon that Young isn't the legal man, and as soon as Devon turns around, ROODE NAILS HIM WITH A DOUBLE R SPINEBUSTER!!

Young quietly rolls out of the ring as Roode makes the cover, D'Amore jumping up and down with excitement thinking this is it:

1...

2...

3- NO!! DEVON GETS THE SHOULDER UP!!

Roode sits up with a look of disbelief on his face, protesting with the referee as D'Amore fumes outside the ring. Roode gets to his feet, waiting for Devon to get up. When Devon eventually gets back up, Roode runs off the ropes, going for the Northern Lariat, but Devon turns around in time, AND NAILS ROODE WITH A SPINEBUSTER OF HIS OWN!!

D'Amore races towards Young, lifting him to his feet, as Devon gets Roode up and Ray re-enters the ring. Devon Irish whips Roode into the ropes, and when he comes back, TEAM 3D HIT THE 3D FOR A SECOND TIME, THIS TIME ON ROODE!!

Young ever-so slowly crawls into the ring, as Devon covers Roode:

1...

2...

3!!

Winners - Team 3D @ 8:37

Young is too late! Team 3D get to their feet and have their hands raised by the referee, but meanwhile...

AMERICA'S MOST WANTED LEAVE THE ANNOUNCE TABLE, HIT THE RING, AND ATTACK BROTHER RAY AND BROTHER DEVON!!

Mike Tenay: They took our positions at the announce table just so they could do that after the match!!

Harris and Storm bombard 3D with stomps as Gail Kim cheers them on, but then...

***STAMPEDE***

RHINO COMES OUT AND RUNS TO THE RING!!

Don West: 'THE WAR MACHINE' IS READY TO GO!!

Mike Tenay: All hell is breaking loose, just like last week!!

Rhino enters the ring and fights AMW by himself, taking them both down right hands. Rhino continues the onslaught, until... BAM!!

RHINO IS ATTACKED FROM BEHIND BY MONTY BROWN!!

Mike Tenay: Just as Rhino was getting the better of AMW, that stooge Monty Brown intervenes!!

Brown fights Rhino and AMW continue to battle Team 3D...

***TAKE OVER***

CHRISTIAN CAGE COMES RUNNING OUT AND HITS THE RING, TAKING DOWN MONTY BROWN!!

Don West: YES!!

Mike Tenay: IT'S THE #1 CONTENDER TO THE NWA WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP, PLANET JARRETT'S ENEMY NUMBER ONE, CHRISTIAN CAGE!!

Cage brawls with Brown as Rhino lends a hand to Team 3D, attacking AMW...

...BUT THEN JEFF JARRETT COMES OUT AND SPRINTS TO THE RING!!

Mike Tenay: It was only a matter of time before Jeff Jarrett showed up!!

Jarrett tears Cage away from Brown, and gets him in the corner, as they double-team him until Rhino comes to his aid. The pandemonium continues in the ring...

...AND THE LIGHTS GO OUT IN THE iMPACT! ZONE!!!!

Mike Tenay: THE LIGHTS ARE OUT IN THE iMPACT! ZONE!!!! COULD IT BE??!!

THE CROWD GO NUTS!! Several moments pass with no follow-up, until...

???: WOOOOOOOO!!

Don West: THAT- THAT'S GOTTA BE STING!!!!

Mike Tenay: LISTEN TO THIS CROWD!!

The crowd cheer wildly again, waiting to see Sting, and the lights come back on, but there is no sign of Sting, and the fighting has stopped, as Jarrett, AMW and Brown look around frantically for him.

Sting: Sorry fellas, but you're never gonna find me.

~ Boos from the crowd, who want to see Sting.

Sting: But I'll tell you what... just wait until January 15th!!

~ The boos swiftly turn to cheers.

Sting: Then, I won't be so hard to find. So get ready, 'cause at Final Resolution... IT'S SHOWTIME!!

~ HUGE pop from the crowd.

Sting: But until then... how about you stop worrying about me... and start worrying about those other guys in the ring with ya'.

As soon as Sting says that, CHRISTIAN CAGE, RHINO AND TEAM 3D ATTACK PLANET JARRETT!!

Mike Tenay: HERE WE GO AGAIN!!

The chaos resumes, with the eight of them brawling in the ring, AND RHINO THROWS MONTY BROWN OVER THE TOP ROPE AND OUT OF THE RING!!

Don West: THERE GOES MONTY BROWN!!

After Brown is out of the ring Planet Jarrett are outnumbered, and Rhino assists Brother Ray in fighting Chris Harris, THE TWO OF THEM THROWING HARRIS OUT OF THE RING TOO!!

James Storm now looks petrified, and runs at Brother Devon, but Devon simply greets him with a smile...

...AND CHRISTIAN CAGE GRABS STORM, TWISTS HIM AROUND AND NAILS HIM WITH AN UNPRETTIER!!!!

Mike Tenay:
UNPRETTIER TO JAMES STORM!!

The crowd then explode with cheers... BECAUSE NOW JEFF JARRETT IS ALL ALONE IN THE RING!! Jarrett looks around at Cage, Rhino and Team 3D, thinking of a plan...

...BUT MONTY BROWN SAVES THE DAY, TRIPPING JARRETT UP AND PULLING HIM OUT OF THE RING!!

The crowd boo, wanting to see a beatdown on Jarrett. Jarrett, Brown, Harris and Kim collect Storm, who is clutching his mid-section, and they retreat up the ramp. Meanwhile, Cage, Rhino and Team 3D stand tall in the ring, raising each other's hands in the air, a mirror image of Planet Jarrett last week.

Mike Tenay: Now THAT'S how you end iMPACT!! Christian Cage, Rhino and Team 3D get the better of Planet Jarrett tonight, but it's far from over! Goodnight, everybody!

END OF SHOW

Fantastic, 2 Impacts so far man! I like how the build is going towards Final Resolution. Christian Cage vs Jeff Jarrett? Great way to begin 2006, AMW vs Team 3D was a feud that we really did not see a lot of during this time so i am interested to see with how this goes. Plus i love the dominate and just brutal Samoa Joe and we will find out who could be his next victim possibly for FInal Resolution could it be AJ Styles OR The Fallen Angel Christopher Daniels? Either or we are going to get a awesome match. Raven's going through The Director Of Authority Larry Zbyszko was something that i feel real TNA screwed up completely, they fired him on TV and than it went all downhill from here. Plus how can we forget about the RETURN OF STING! The Icon is back and i got a feeling he will either be the Guest Enforcer for Jarrett/Cage or he could be facing Monty Brown, either way i am excited to see where that goes.I was a diehard TNA fan during this time and i am loving how this is going thus far! Good job man!

Its a good time period. One as a fan I was really into. I'm glad you're pulling the trigger right away with Jarrett vs. Cage. The Cage vs. Brown "feud" wasn't anything worth watching IMO. AMW vs. Team 3D feud is another one they should have played with more. I hope you push Raven, cause he was super over in 2005/2006 and they just sort of forgot about him. I'm calling Sting to get involved with Jarrett/Cage, then a feud with Abyss. Just calling that now.

I also like they way you structure your BTB posts. Very easy to read man.

I'd like to compliment the BTB you have here.

I feel it's really well written and interesting. Some feedback on your writing it seems you've found the perfect medium between having matches that come off as too long or too short. The matches written so far flow very nicely and they're not a chore to read. I've read a lot of BTB's (Or Diaries) in the past where a match can take you 5 minutes to read and I dislike that.

To compliment your booking. I like the idea behind Christian/Jarrett and think they should of gone with that in real life but they didn't. You also have the addition of what Sting will do on Pay Per View which is interesting. You used the tease well and it came off as very realistic.

It's very hard to book something that only has a 1 hour time slot so kudos to you for doing well with it. I hope you keep on writing. You have a reader in me.

BREAKING NEWS - NEW MATCH MADE FOR FINAL RESOLUTION

For the last two weeks, iMPACT! has closed with mass brawls between Planet Jarrett and the fan-anointed 'Christian's Coalition'.

Jeff Jarrett will defend his NWA World Heavyweight Championship at Final Resolution against Cage, and America's Most Wanted will put their NWA World Tag Team Championships on the line on the same night against Team 3D. Following last night's iMPACT!, Director of Authority Larry Zbyszko has made a new match involving both groups: 'The Alpha Male' Monty Brown versus 'The War Machine' Rhino!

See this and more, including the debut of STING, on January 15th.
Thanks for the kind comments, the next show is done so expect a preview up soon.

Rhino vs. Monty Brown is a great addition as they have similar styles and would compliment each other well in the ring. I hope Monty gets a fair shake in this BTB although Rhino is better...
