@The Cowboy

Thanks for the review. I'm glad you enjoyed the show and yes Reigns is still part of the group. He still comes out with them for promos, matches etc most of the time. But Reigns is the only one with a Singles Title so it makes sense that sometimes he isn't with the group.

@C3K

Thank you for the very informative review, good luck with writing Bash PPV. I'm sure it will turn out fine in the end. You've got some really good advice here, thankyou. I really appreciate when people take time out of their day to give me comments like this on my Be The Booker, really helps me improve, I do this as a hobby but I'm slowly getting better at it. Really going to go all out with the PPV.

Yeah the Cena/Punk promo was a bit strange. However, Punk makes excuses a lot in his Promos and sometimes lies. Punk saying Cena can't get over the past is Punk trying to rile Cena up and get him angry, much like his usual promos. He may not always be right but he can get in the mind of the other person. I wanted to make Punk remind about his losing streak again which would lower his confidence once again when he'd just said he was over it a short while ago. Punk is playing Mind Games with Cena basically heading towards Extreme Rules.

Yeah, that probably would have worked better as a Backstage Promo you're right. I have some plans for Edge in the future but just trying to establish him as GM at the moment. I don't want to rush anything.

Yeah, Sandow is hard to write sometimes. Need to watch a few of his promos I think again.

I'm going to try and put a bit more emotion in to everything. I understand it's a little blunt at the moment, but that's just my style of writing. I may need to adjust it so you can get in to the action. I'll try and explain the entrances a little more. Also, I'll put the Winner at the end of each match as I realize some people don't have the time to read through entire shows and like to scan through results and so on.

Yeah, having Sandow and Cody come out again was probably a bad decision. Won't be making that mistake again! Also regarding Reigns I'm trying to establish himself as a Singles Guy too and showing he can get the job done without The Shield by his side. Makes the group look stronger IMO. Reigns is still with The Shield but he's got the singles title within the group.

I would have saved Punk vs Rio and Orton vs Cena but I wanted this show to go out with a bang. Also, I think it makes the Go Home RAW a bit more interesting. I personally feel I've made this match quite unpredictable.

Thanks, I am trying to improve and I'm proud of myself for doing the BTB for this long. I was having doubts at the beginning but I'm enjoying doing it now as I now know a few enjoy reading. At first I thought it wasn't good enough and I wasn't a good enough writer but I've been improving at it. Yeah, Paige and Natalya aren't just on SmackDown but I didn't want it to just feel like filler or something. I've got something planned for SmackDown which will continue the build. Same for Ziggler vs Bryan, I didn't just want to throw in a filler match or something. Rather wait until SmackDown and give that show some recognition for building feuds too. Also, thanks, hope you enjoy SmackDown when it's out!

SmackDown – April 25th, 2014

The opening segment was okay, but I was hoping that it would set something up for tonight. My advice would’ve been to maybe have an opening for the show that set something up for tonight, and then have the stipulation revealed with this segment during the show. Also, I don’t feel like it fits into a Daniel Bryan face character to say that Ziggler got lucky when he won his MITB match. Don’t know why, it just sounded more like what a heel character would say. Moving on… The booking of the Triple Threat Tag Team match was good, and the match itself sounded good. Rhodes Scholars winning were okay I guess, but personally I don’t like heel vs. heel and especially not for titles. A nice little segment backstage with Booker and Reigns, but again something nags me… In my opinion it just doesn’t fit a Shield member to be backstage and do segments. They handle that in the ring. Again, good booking for the Fatal Four Way match and the match itself was actually great. But again I have a small problem, you know me Morrison isn’t on your roster list so I don’t know if he’s heel or face, but reading the match he seemed like a face and if that’s so then it was one heel and three faces. Mysterio winning the match was interesting. Booker announcing to Ryback that he’ll be facing Christian at Extreme Rules as per order of Edge was a good segment. The main event was a bit disappointing for me. Not the match itself, but the booking. First of all, it’s heel vs. heel. Second, Barrett gets a second consecutive match and even after just getting pinned in a Fatal Four Way match. And third and last, the ending of the match was poor. How can Barrett roll Ryback up from behind, when Ryback had Barrett up for the Shell Shocked? And it would make a lot more sense for Christian to cause Ryback a match, if Ryback was facing a face superstar. And lastly it made sense for Punk to come out there and throw a promo about his opponents, so that was good. Sadly I don’t feel like Punk was in character. He shouldn’t call himself The Best In The World three-four-five times in the same two-minute promo. And, and I’ve said this before, NEVER use the words heel and face in an actual promo. Cena attacking Punk before the show ends was okay for the feud, but I have to say that I’m getting a little warned out with sneak attacks in your BTB already.

RAW – April 28th, 2014

I decent segment here. I liked the length on it and the purpose for it. I don’t feel like they were that much in character, but it was better this time. Again a brawl or an attack in the end, but this one was okay and fitted right in. BUT… Again you have an opening segment that doesn’t set anything up for the rest of the show. The next segment was awful… Sorry man, but I’m dead honest in my reviews Mysterio and Reigns comes out and gets microphones, but none of them gets to say even one word. Edge comes out and gives a one-liner, which is just like stating that this segment and the match itself is a waste of time. And lastly, a Last Man Standing match for a midcard title?? Not good booking in my opinion mate. And that’s not just because it’s a midcard title. It’s because if Mysterio loses it ruins his comeback, and if Reigns loses it hurts both his and The Shield’s credibility. The segment with the Rhodes Scholars wasn’t bad, but I would like it if you made Sandow sound wiser like in real life. Also, it sounds like there’s some bad energy between Rhodes and Sandow, which makes me wonder if they’ll break up soon… Interesting. The match itself was good, but I don’t get the booking. Don’t get me wrong, because Rhodes winning keeps it interesting on their behalf. But I don’t get why you chose to have Barrett pinned by Mysterio in the Fatal Fur Way on SmackDown, then have Barrett pin Ryback like five minutes later on the same show, and then have Barrett lose to Rhodes in another heel vs. heel match on the next RAW. But yeah, the match itself was good reading. What I just wrote about the first match, I could almost write the exact same thing about the next. I liked the match a lot, but I didn’t like the booking. You have Damien Sandow, whom I believe to be the lowest ranked member of Rhodes Scholars in real life, getting a clean win against a main eventer/upper midcarder who’s going to participate in a Championship Scramble match for the WWE Championship at the next Pay-Per View. In my opinion you need to be VERY careful about your booking, and maybe just maybe you’re lucky enough to not corner yourself into a position where everything you do hurts the credibility of something important. Just look at this situation… You have Rhodes beating Barrett who has just beaten the monster Ryback, who is Intercontinental Champion. You have Sandow beating Sheamus who’s in the WWE Championship Scramble match at Extreme Rules, which ruins any possible momentum Sheamus might’ve had and building Rhodes Scholars into the sky. So no matter what you do at Extreme Rules you ruin something. If you have Rhodes Scholars lose you make Shield look bad and you take away a lot of, if not all of, the momentum they’ve build up since arriving, but if you make Rhodes Scholars lose you just made Barrett, Ryback, Christian and Sheamus look bad for no reason. Anyway, on with the show… Morrison vs. Reigns was okay, and Reigns getting the win was good for him going into Extreme Rules. Christian’s promo was good… I just I just barely managed to think that, until that thought was ruined by yet another attack and brawl. Ryback annihilating Christian gives him some momentum back though, which was okay. Punk vs. Del Rio was great. See, I’m honest both in good and bad I liked the booking, I liked the match, I liked the action being described, and Punk going over was the right decision. The main event was great too, and I was surprised by Orton pinning Cena clean. I don’t know if I would’ve personally had that match end with some sort of a No Decision or something like that, but Orton getting the win was interesting.

Overall: Well, you’re still improving on length and quality, but I also saw these two shows as kind of a setback in regards to booking. In my opinion your booking needs A LOT of work… It’s not that the matches themselves is bad, but you have way too many heel vs. heel, way too many attacks or brawls, people gaining momentum just to lose it and then gain it again, etc. This way you’ll end up with a bunch of superstars and titles who have lost credibility, and then you have to build that credibility up again. Also, three matches on SmackDown was not enough. This may sound like a bashing of your BTB, but I’m in all honesty just trying to help… Think of it this way, if it wasn’t interesting and didn’t have potential, I definitely wouldn’t even waste my time reading and reviewing

@JuulDK Thanks for the informative review! I'll try and answer all your questions!

SmackDown - April 25th, 2014

At the moment I wouldn't class Team Rhodes Scholars as heels personally. I feel they are sort of Tweeners at the moment, I've teased that they've been getting good reactions against Ambrose and Rollins. Morrison is in the roster list? It lists him as a face? Ryback dropped Barrett from the ShellShock postistion when Christian's music hit which let him do a roll up pin. Yeah, I think I'm having a little too many sneak attacks, will cut down on them.

RAW – April 28th, 2014

Yeah, the Reigns/Edge/Mysterio segment should have been a backstage segment. I wouldn't say it would hurt Mysterio if he lost, especially if he manages to last a while and puts up a good fight against Reigns.

Yeah, I'm trying to improve the way Sandow speaks in my BTB. I can never get it right! Make sure to keep an eye on Team Rhodes Scholars! Barrett beating Ryback was a cheap win though, it's not like he actually laid Ryback out and got the clean pin. Also, I've still got time to give Sheamus some momentum, Sandow needed that win IMO. I wanted Rhodes Scholars to look tough heading towards Extreme Rules. I wouldn't say I made them look bad for no reason, It's making the Tag Match unpredictable heading in to Extreme Rules. I get what you're saying about the booking issue though. Sorry about all the attacks/sneak attacks.

I'm glad you enjoyed the last two matches. I really enjoyed writing them and I personally was very happy with the way they turned out.

Overall

I'll try and improve my booking but I've never liked the idea of 'Heel and Heel' stopping a feud from happening. I shouldn't see why that should be the reason if both men have actual heat between eachother regardless of their character. I'll cut down on the attacks and brawls.

Thanks for the feedback!

MYSTERIO: I don't think I can prepare for the match. You've seen Reigns, he's a force to be reckoned with. All I can do is just fight with all my heart and passion at Extreme Rules. That's what I've done throughout my entire career and it's helped me pick up titles such as the WWE Championship. I'm confident that I can beat him at Extreme Rules and I'll do whatever it takes to do so. There's no rules and anything goes in our Last Man Standing Match.

STRIKER: Thanks Rey for your time, good luck!

~Commercial Break~

Christian comes out to a positive reaction. He makes his way to the ring with a microphone in hand.

CHRISTIAN: You all know the score now and the problem I have with Ryback. The main problem is that he's holding a Championship that I should have around my waist. I won't stop at nothing until I get it. It was hard being injured and watching on the sidelines whilst Ryback worked his way through several men to pick up the Championship. I'm not like other men though, I'm passionate and I'll do whatever it takes to make sure that the Championship comes home at Extreme Rules *The crowd cheer at this*

Ryback makes his entrance and stands on the stage with a Microphone.

RYBACK: Christian, you can stand there and try to make yourself believe that you'll win at Extreme Rules but we all know the real story and who really is going to win and that's going to me. The Intercontinental Championship doesn't belong to you Christian and it never has. It belongs to me now and it's been waiting to be around my waist for it's entire existence. I bring legitimacy to this Championship that you could only dream of bringing to it. I'd come down to the ring now but I just don't want to embarrass you again and put you though ANOTHER table. Don't worry, I won't do it this week, I cannot be bothered wasting my energy on someone like you.

CHRISTIAN: You think you're so tough Ryback? Come down to this ring right now and prove it. We'll really see who's tough this time! COME ON, WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR*The crowd cheer at this*

Ryback laughs at Christian and walks out of the arena whilst the crowd boo him. Christian watches on in a rage.

~Commercial Break~

Langston makes his entrance looking as aggressive as ever and is determined to win this match. Bryan makes his entrance chanting 'YES!' as the crowd join in. Langston can be seen getting very frustrated with Bryan and brings him to the outside of the ring. Langston throws Bryan in to the barricade close to the commentary table. Bryan goes flying in to the barricade and you can hear his entire body smash against it. Langston looks over to Ziggler with an evil grin on his face as Ziggler grins back. Langston picks Bryan back up and puts him back in the the ring. Langston goes for the three count once again, 1...2...BRYAN JUST KICKS OUT! Langston cannot believe it. Langston picks Bryan up and attempts to perform Big Ending and ALMOST hits it but Bryan fights his way out and gets Langston in to the YES LOCK.

Langston is scratching and crawling in the ring trying to make his way to the ropes. Langston ALMOST taps out but manages to make it to the ropes breaking the hold. Bryan doesn't stop there and continues to keep the big man down with several kicks. Langston is on his knees and Bryan performs several kicks to Langston chanting 'YES!". Bryan signals to the crowd that he's going to the top rope and he goes for the Diving Headbutt but Langston manages to dodge the move. Both men are still pretty dazed in the center of the ring. Langston manages to make it to his feet first and looks like he's about to go for 'Big Ending' again but before he can get Bryan up for the move Bryan fights out again and once again gets Langston down. Bryan makes his way to the turnbuckle once again for the diving headbutt and THIS TIME HITS IT. Bryan goes for the three count on Langston 1...2...3 AND PICKS UP THE WIN!

Bryan celebrates his win and leaves the arena. Before he does though he has a staredown with Ziggler and they look like they are about to brawl again but don't.

Florida; Miami – American Airlines Arena

Quote:
TONIGHT ON RAW: In the last RAW towards Extreme Rules who will build momentum heading towards the huge Pay-Per-View?!
The Shield's music hits and they make their way down to the ring through the crowd they all grab microphones from ringside.

AMBROSE: So guys, we are in Florida tonight, unfortunately. Anyway, this isn't about you, this is about Team Rhodes Scholars and Rey Mysterio. The three people that think they have a chance in hell at defeating either of us. Me and Rollins here are going to decimate Team Rhodes Scholars on Sunday night and I'll do whatever it takes to make sure that they never challenge for this title ever again.

ROLLINS: That's right and when we do defeat Team Rhodes Scholars you can get back under that rock you crawled out of. Just admit that nobody has a chance in hell of taking us out. We're here to stay and if you don't like that then you might as well leave this arena right now because nothing is changing.

REIGNS: On Sunday I will be going up against a man that got lucky in a Battle Royal. Despicable, but no worries, it won't take long for me to take him apart piece by piece until there is nothing left of him but an empty shell of a man, BELIEVE IN THE SHIELD.

AMBROSE: It's funny that some of you still do not believe in The Shield, what more is there for us prove? We've taken out all of your heroes. Just accept the fact that The Shield is WWE.

Suddenly Team Rhodes Scholars and Rey Mysterio start running down to the ring but The Shield see it coming and flee the arena. Team Rhodes Scholars and Mysterio watch Shield as a hawk as they leave the arena through the crowd.

We cut a backstage segment with Josh Matthews and Dolph Ziggler.

MATTHEWS: Please welcome my guest at this time, Dolph Ziggler. So, Ziggler you have a match against Daniel Bryan on Sunday at Extreme Rules, how are you going to prepare for that tonight?

ZIGGLER: Well, I'm facing John Morison tonight Josh and I'm going to make sure that I get the job done. I want to send a message to Bryan tonight and let him know that The Showoff is finally bringing the title back home. If you will excuse me, I've got a match to prepare for.

MATTHEWS: Thanks for your time.

We cut back to the ring and It is announced that Team Rhodes Scholars and Rey Mysterio will face The Shield tonight. Paige makes her entrance to the ring, as does AJ Lee. Back from Commercial Break CM Punk makes his way to the ring with a microphone in hand and Heyman by his side.

CM PUNK: This Sunday at Extreme Rules I will have to go against four other men to be able to retain this Championship. By the way, it's good to have you back Paul.

[b]HEYMAN[b]: Thankyou. Ladies and Gentleman, my name is PAUL HEYMAN and I will be accompanying my client CM Punk to the ring Sunday night and I will be watching over the match at Commentary. The 'BEST IN THE WORLD' will retain his championship and continue to cement himself as the Greatest WWE Champion of ALL TIME.

CM PUNK: I've defeated all of your heroes and I've shown why I'm the WWE Champion. You all wish you were as good as me, I'm the only reason you showed up tonight and guess what, I don't have a match. So, I guess that's a waste of money for you as you won't be seeing the Best in the World in action tonight. I thin--

Before he can continue to speak, John Cena makes his entrance to the ring with a Microphone in hand.

CENA: Hold on, Punk. I've not come out here to fight tonight. I'm above that, I've just come out here to discuss our match at Extreme Rules on Sunday.

CM PUNK: What's too discuss? You know what's going to happen on Sunday whether you want to believe it or not.

CENA: I think you're forgetting what the match is Punk. It's a Championship Scramble match and you're against four other former World Champions. If you think you're just going to walk in on Sunday and retain your Championship with a breeze then you're wrong. I'm going to give everything I have Sunday to make sure that I win that match.

CM PUNK: There's one important thing you mentioned there and that is the fact you're all 'FORMER' World Champions. You are not the 'CURRENT' World Champion. That's me and Daniel Bryan. But your ego probably can't handle me saying that John, your ego can't stand the fact that you will never be the WWE Champion or World Heavyweight Championship ever again. You're a failure John, last week on RAW you lost to Randy Orton, I told you that you win against Henry two weeks ago on RAW was a fluke, but you didn't listen to me. You continued to live in that bubble of yours believing your the greatest. That's the difference between you and me John, you THINK you are the greatest and I KNOW I am the greatest.

Before Cena can speak, Orton makes his entrance to the ring with a Microphone in hand.

RANDY ORTON: For a matter of fact, you're both wrong. My name, is Randy Orton and I will walk out of Extreme Rules on Sunday with the WWE Championship around my waist once again. That's where it belongs, with me, not you and not you, me. It's been a long time coming for me, finally getting a shot at the WWE Championship. I had to make a message which is why I took Triple H out with an RKO. I don't regret it and as you may have noticed, he's not shown up for a few weeks now. He's scared of what I could do if he shows his face around here. I'm not the type to forgive and forget if I see Triple H anywhere near this ring again he will be getting another RKO from me.

Before Punk or Cena can respond, Alberto Del Rio makes his entrance, all three men in the ring shake their heads. Del Rio makes his way to the ring with a microphone in hand. But, before Del Rio can ever speak he's interrupted by the entrance of Sheamus. Sheamus makes his way down to the ring. All men look at eachother in the ring. Punk and Orton look at eachother and for a moment are on the same page and they start to attack the other three men (Sheamus, Cena and Del Rio). Cena ends up knocking Punk out of the ring, whilst Sheamus knocks Orton out of the ring. All three men celebrate to the crowd and they all shake hands.

JBL: This is going to be a huge match!

COLE: You've got that right John, I've got no idea who will walk out the Champion on Sunday. What about you Regal?

REGAL: I've got a feeling that Cena may finally do this and reclaim that Championship once again.

~Commercial Break~

Red face Re: WWE: 2014 - Rise & Fall

Hey, I thought i'd give Raw a review also for Kane!

Raw Review:

Good little opening segment for the shield gives them some air time & makes them looked strong loved Rollins little send off line, Paige vs Aj one thing before I review the match .... lol.

Good match, With Paige getting the win I'll happily take a paige win any day I just want to say quickly you have improved loads on your match lengths well done my friend. Barrett vs Christian was a nice little filler match to the show, Captain Charisma winning was a good move there putting Christian over is the right thing to do every show.

You are really putting some substance and interest into the divas division, Vinny mac wouldn't dream of having 2 divas matches on his show, Good short match with Bellas getting disqualified.

Time for Raw is punk, good opening promo damn Cena for interrupting #3 goat. Cena doing his usual corny act very well done in character, Orton interrupting Punk was ok and was a big promo from Orton must mean he has to be one of the favourites. Del Rio & Sheamus are out lets have a fight.. Ohhh man faces prevail I was hoping for a Punk whitewash standing supreme with his title! good one nonetheless.

Ziggler, Morrison sounds like a good choice of match with Ziggler getting an "easy" win!

Are Rhodes Scholars face now? or just teaming up with Rey for storyline purposes? Anywho this match was great it really was with The Shield getting a nice little win in build up to their title defenses at ER. And I saw earlier you were having trouble writing Sandow promos.. simple solution look up smart words for simple things on Google

Overall: Good Raw, your definitely improving at a quick pace, keep it up!

@TheCowboy

Thanks for the RAW review. Not long until Extreme Rules now. In the process of writing it up now and I'm halfway though it. Some matches have come out awesome I think..

Yeah, I'm trying to improve the Diva's Division. Doing it in stages but I'm glad I introduced Paige in to the Division. As it's helped a ton. Expect some more Diva's to debut soon. Yeah, I tried to keep Barrett losing strong in defeat but also give Barrett a nice little win heading towards his match at Extreme Rules. Barrett may seem like a jobber right now, but I have some things lined up for him.

I'm not going to comment on who the favourites are for obvious reasons. All I'm saying is that this is the most unpredictable match on the card and I've changed the result countless times in my head. Once I write it up then I'll have a clear winner.

Rhodes Scholars are tweeners right now. They do some heelish things but they are showing more of a Face side lately.

Glad you enjoyed the show. SmackDown and Extreme Rules might be a bit late this week considering I've got two shows to write up!
