JAM’s Review

Having Cena open the show was a good idea but when he started his promo, I just couldn’t understand what you were setting up. Punk came out and the two said some heated words towards each other only for Austin to break it up? What did you accomplish here? I’m not saying that the promos were bad, they were actually pretty decent, but the opening segment is supposed to achieve something. Like set up the main event or something like that. The promos were good, I can’t even write full shows so I admire you trying out a BTB in this way.

You don’t have to lay out what’s gonna happen in the entire show, seems like a bit of a spoiler. Also, Edge becoming GM was underwhelming. It could’ve been made into a bigger deal but with the way you wrote it, it just seemed like it was a minor deal. The chairman was on the show so usually something big happens, I think this segment just lacked detail but you’re new so you’ll improve on that for sure. The World Title match was alright too, you have decent match writing skills but again, you can improve on that when you progress with this thread.

This was a very short segment as well. You don’t always have to have a commercial break after each segment, I think you could break up the commercials better. However, this Shield/Taker segment confused me a little. Sure you gave The Shield their victory address but Taker came out and cuts his promo? It does create some intrigue, but I’m still confused about it. Looking forward for this one. I love me some Paige! Hope to see the divas division re-invented here and you can definitely do that with Paige on your roster. Other additions would be good too. I like seeing The Shield a lot in the show because they’re pretty good but then that Taker promo still has me thinking what he meant.

Bit of an underwhelming ending to the show. However, it looks like you’re making Cena seem desperate or frustrated so this could lead to a heel turn. Writing Cena’s heel turn would definitely give this thread more interest so go for it if that’s what you’re planning to do.

Overall, the show was pretty decent. You did a good job for a first-timer. There are definitely some things you could’ve done better but that will come later on. The first show is always the hardest to post so now that you’re over that, just take in the feedback you get and see what you can do better. Sorry if this seems like a very negative review, that really wasn’t my intention. You’ll do fine as this thread progresses, onto the next!

Thanks for the informative review. The Cena/Punk promo was done for a reason. I don't want to spoil anything, but if I continue this I have some things in store for the future.

I went over a lot of possible GM's, but I've always been interested in Edge as RAW GM. I won't lay out what's going to happen on the show in the future. I'll announce a few matches ahead of time though, if I want to build hype towards RAW/SmackDown.

I am trying to re-invent the Diva's Division. You can write some good stuff with Paige and Kaitlyn so I'm sticking to that feud at the moment. Will probably debut some more from NXT.

I've got something big planned for The Undertaker if I continue this and I'm keeping my mouth closed on it!

I've got a lot big planned for a lot of guys. You'll be seeing some fresh feuds too.

Sorry if I end up leaving you hooked. Hopefully I'm feeling back in to it next week. SmackDown is shaping up pretty good though! Got some good matches planned for it

It'd be a shame if you do stop after Smackdown as this BtB has loads of potential!

That's the thing you gotta do just ease into it, take your time and just generally just enjoy writing it hopefully you'll carry on! Can't wait to read Smackdown.

Quite a short episode this time, next time it will be much longer.

======================

April 11th, 2014

New Orleans, Louisiana - New Orleans Arena

Quote:
A short recap of RAW is shown before the show. JBL welcomes the viewers to SmackDown and the camera pans over the crowd as they cheer.
'Meat On The Table' blasts in the Arena and Ryback walks to the ring as menacing as ever. He grabs a mic from ringside

RYBACK: At WrestleMania I showed why RYBACK RULES! I defeated one of the most respected men in this business, Chris Jericho. I also defeated him last night at RAW. I was sick and tired of being left down in the dumps at the bottom of the ladder. So I had to make my way back up to the top, which is what I did by defeating Jericho for the Intercontinental Title. I will soon be WWE Champion again and Punk, I'd like to let you know that you need to watch your back.

Before Ryback can say anything else 'Break the Walls Down' hits, as the crowd cheer heavily. Jericho quickly makes his way down to the ring and they both start to brawl. Jericho gets the upperhand and manages to knock Ryback out of the ring. Before Ryback can get back in and retaliate, Booker T comes out to interrupt the brawl.

BOOKER T: Hang on there, one second guys. If you're going to be fighting tonight, then it's going to be in a match dawg. Jericho, you're going up against Ryback tonight in a NO DISQUALIFICATION MATCH. NOW CAN YOU DIG THAT SUCCKAAA?

Ryback and Jericho have a staredown before it cuts to Commercial Break.

~Commercial Break~

Match #1 - Paige vs Kaitlyn - Divas Championship - Singles Match.

Due to the match not getting started at RAW, it was re-scheduled for SmackDown. Kaitlyn comes out to cheers and Paige comes out to a mixed reaction. Paige and Kaitlyn have a staredown in the ring before the match starts. Paige gets the upperhand early on and shoves Kaitlyn out of the ring. Paige begins to repeatedly push Kaitlyn in to the ring barrier and puts her back in to the ring. Paige goes for the three count several times but Kaitlyn keeps kicking out. Frustration begins to build on Paige's face.

Paige becomes distracted by her frustration and Kaitlyn begins to get some offense in and gets Paige down to the ground, Kaitlyn then begins to stomp Paige quite angrily. Paige keeps getting back up, but Katlyn continues to hit her with several shoulder blocks and continues to go for three counts but fails. Kaitlyn throws Paige in to the turnbuckle and starts to beat on her and pull her hair, the referee soon breaks this up.

Paige then begins to fight her way back in to the match delivering a hair pull whip to Kaitlyn who gets knocked to the ground. As Kaitlyn gets back up, Paige shoves her to the turnbuckle delivering multiple stomps. However, Kaitlyn begins to fight her way out and manages to deliver a fireman's carry gut buster, this however doesn't end the match and Paige fights back hitting a Paige Turner to end the match. Paige holds up the Divas Title screaming at the crowd "NO ONE CAN BEAT ME!" as it fades out.

The camera cuts to Matt Striker backstage with a guest.

MATT STRIKER: Ladies and Gentleman, please welcome my guest, Sheamus. Sheamus you've been in a bit of a slump lately, are you going to change that tonight?

SHEAMUS: I've just been waiting for the right time, Matt. I've got a match with Dolph Ziggler tonight and I'm going to make sure I beat him. I want to get my chance at the World Title again.

JOSH MATTHEWS: Thanks Sheamus.

We cut to a backstage segment with Booker T. Team Rhodes Scholars can be seen approaching him.

RHODES: Booker we demand to have a rematch for the Tag Team Championship tonight. Ambrose and Rollins' win on Monday was a fluke.

BOOKER T: Woah, woah. I make the decisions 'round here, not you dawg. You've got to show me why you deserve a rematch and maybe I'll give it you next week. If you or Sandow can defeat Roman Reigns tonight, you will get your rematch.

Rhodes and Sandow can be seen deliberating with eachother about who will face Reigns tonight.

~Commercial Break~

As we return from Commerical Break, we can see that it will be Rhodes that faces Reigns as his music hits. Cody makes his way to the ring, antipaticing Reigns' entrance.

Match #2 - Cody Rhodes vs Roman Reigns w/Ambrose and Rollins - Singles Match

Reigns makes his entrance, with Ambrose and Rollins at his side. Sandow talks trash to them from the other side of the ring. The bell rings and Rhodes starts off strong isolating Reigns at the turnbuckle and delivering several blows. Reigns fights his way out of the turnbuckle and begins to completely dominate Rhodes, going for several pin attempts but failing. Rhodes keeps attempting to make his way back in to the match but keeps getting stopped by Reigns. Sandow can be heard shouting 'Come on Cody!' at ringside.

Rhodes begins to fight out and has Reigns dazed, he then gets down and delivers a uppercut to Reigns and attempts the three count but fails. Rhodes then delivers an inverted suplex slam to Reigns and goes for another pin attempt and fails. Reigns begins to fight out and delivers a massive Powerbomb to Rhodes. Rhodes surprisingly kicks out at two and a half and in a quick turn of events delivers the Cross Rhodes to Reigns, securing the pin. Cody and Sandow smile, as Reigns is surprised he lost so fast.

Suddenly all three members of The Shield make their way in to the ring and surround Cody and Sandow. They deliver a brutal beat down to Rhodes and Sandow ending it with a triple powerbomb. The crowd boo The Shield as they stand over Team Rhodes Scholars.

Cody Rhodes and Damien Sandow will face Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose for the Tag Team Championship next week on SmackDown.

~Commercial Break~

Match #3 - Sheamus vs Dolph Ziggler - Singles Match

'The Celtic Warrior' Sheamus makes his way out to the ring, as does Ziggler. Sheamus starts out strong and Ziggler manages to get little offense in. Ziggler eventually starts to fight back and delivers a perfect dropkick to Sheamus and goes for a failed pin attempt. He begins to deliver several jumping elbow drops to Sheamus and starts showing off. Sheamus begins to make his way back in to the match and gets Ziggler over the ropes. He delivers 10 blows to the chest of Ziggler and brings him back in to the ring.

Sheamus goes for the pin attempt again, but fails. Sheamus then begins to set up for the Brogue Kick but misses as Ziggler fights out again. Ziggler begins to beat away at Sheamus and the two start brawling in the center of the ring. The crowd are reacting to every single punch and the majority of the crowd seem to be in the corner of Sheamus. Sheamus shoves Ziggler in to the Turnbuckle and charges at him from the other side of the ring.

Sheamus goes for ten punches at the turnbuckle, but Ziggler manages to fight out and in a quick succession delivers a Zig Zag to Sheamus but Sheamus kicks out at two and a half. Ziggler then starts to show off again, but shows off a little too much as Sheamus manages to hit him with a Brogue Kick to secure the win.

JBL: IT LOOKS LIKE SHEAMUS IS BACK IN BUSINESS!

~Commercial Break~

MAIN EVENT - Ryback vs Chris Jericho - NO DQ Match for the Intercontinental Championship

It's time for the Main Event! Ryback makes his way out of the ring, looking menacing as ever and awaiting the arrival of Jericho. Jericho enters the ring to a huge ovation from the crowd and the crowd is firmly in the corner of Jericho. Jericho starts off strong and delivers an early Walls of Jericho to Ryback. However, it's not enough to keep the big man down and Ryback begins to work away on Jericho, delivering a spinebuster. Ryback then makes his way out of the ring and grabs a steel chair from under the ring. He attempts to hit Jericho with it, but Jericho fights back and delivers kick to Ryback with the chair in hand.

Jericho goes for the pin but Ryback kicks out at two. Ryback begins to make his way back in to the match knocking Jericho down and he begins to set up the Meat Hook and hits it. Ryback then goes for a ShellShock, but Jericho fights out and delivers another Walls of Jericho. Jericho begins to stomp and punch Ryback as he's down in the Center of the ring. Jericho signals to the crowd that he is going for a lionsault and as Jericho goes for the lionsault, Ryback manages to get out of the way just in time and quickly gets Jericho up for the Shell Shock and hits it. However, Jericho surprisingly kicks out at two and a half and a raged Ryback starts to beat on Jericho in the middle of the ring. He shoves him in to the turnbuckle and continues to beat on him. Ryback then turns his attention to the crowd booing him and yells "RYBACK RULES!" the crowd continue to boo Ryback.

Jericho begins to fight his way out of the corner delivering several blows to Ryback and attempts a Walls of Jericho. Ryback manages to counter it and hits Jericho with a massive powerbomb. He shouts to the crowd "FINISH HIM!" and gets Jericho up for the ShellShock and hits it. Ryback leaves the arena with his Intercontinental Championship and a smile on his face

Hope you enjoy RAW.

--------------

April 14th, 2014

Bridgeport, Connecticut – Webster Bank Arena

Quote:
In a opening video, various highlights from last week's RAW are shown.
Monday Night RAW opens with Michael Cole welcoming the viewers to the show. 'Time To Play The Game' can be heard starting to play in the background and Triple H recieves a huge ovation in his hometown. Triple H does his entrance and grabs a microphone from ringside. Before he can speak, the crowd are chanting 'Triple H'.

TRIPLE H: It feels great to be in my hometown of CONNECTICUT tonight. *The crowd cheer*

TRIPLE H (con't): I've had a lot of battles in my career with the likes of Steve Austin, The Rock and The Undertaker. I've done everything you can possibly do in the WWE and accomplished everything I would want too in this business. At WrestleMania I was defeated by The Shield and I'm not going to lie, it dropped my confidence a bit. I was with two of the greatest stars ever in Batista and Randy Orton and arguably one of the greatest stables in WWE history, Evolution and we still could not get the job done. I guess what I'm trying to say is if The Shield think they're so tough then why don't they come and face me in this ring..RIGHT NOW.

COLE: Has Triple H gone crazy?
JBL: I understand what Triple H is trying to do, but it isn't wise. The Shield aren't the type to sort problems out verbally.

The Shield's music hits and they make their way through the crowd. Triple H can be seen watching them in the middle of the ring like a hawk. As The Shield are making their way down to the ring, Triple H grabs a Sledgehammer which temporarily halts The Shield but they keep making their way towards Triple H. As they are surrounding Triple H in the ring, Randy Orton runs out to aid Triple H. The Shield make their way in to the ring and they all begin to brawl. Orton and Triple H manage to get the upperhand and knock Reigns and Rollins out of the ring, Triple H almost hits Ambrose with the sledgehammer but he quickly makes his way out of the ring. Orton and Triple H watch them like a hawk. The Shield look like they are about to walk off when suddenly Orton hits an RKO on Triple H.

The crowd is in complete shock and go completely silent and then start booing. The Shield are as shocked as the crowd and they make their way out of the arena in confusion. Randy stands over Triple H laughing at the Connecticut crowd. Randy kneels down and looks at Triple H who is unconscious and continues to laugh. Orton makes his way out of the arena to a chorus of boos.

COLE: Guys, what the hell did we just see? I thought they were friends? What does this mean, why did Orton do this?
JBL: There's clearly some unfinished business between them both.
REGAL: I'm in complete shock.

~Commercial Break~

The camera is at the announce table with Cole, Regal and JBL.

COLE: Welcome back, before the commercial break we saw Orton hit Triple H with an RKO. (Highlights are shown of the incident) We thought they were good friends and they even teamed together at WrestleMania, why do you think Orton did this John?
JBL: I know Randy Orton and he wouldn't do this without a reason, I guess we'll get our answer when Orton wants to explain his actions.
REGAL: Explain his actions, John? Triple H is his friend, well was his friend. You don't RKO your friend because you feel like it, you sort your problems out together, not take it in to your own hands. There was no need for what Orton did.
JBL: Quit your whining Regal. Sometimes, some problems can't be solved verbally, for example I will never like Michael Cole.

We cut to a backstage segment with Edge and suddenly Christian walks in to the room. *The crowd cheer heavily at this* the two hug.

CHRISTIAN: It's really good to see you, Edge.
EDGE: It's good to see you're back in good shape.
CHRISTIAN: I'm ready to go and I want a match tonight. I don't care who it's with, I just want a match.
EDGE: Well you're in luck. Tonight we're going to be holding a Battle Royal to determine a number one contender for the Intercontinental Championship. They will face Ryback tonight on RAW, think you're up for that?
CHRISTIAN: I'm more ready than ever.

The camera cuts back to announce table with Cole, Regal and JBL.

COLE: You think Christian will be able to win the Battle Royal tonight John?
JBL: He seems to be in pretty good shape. It's definitely good to see him back, but I'm going to have to wait to see who else is in the Battle Royal first.
COLE: Also tonight, we've got Dolph Ziggler facing Sheamus in a Number One Contender's 2 out of 3 Falls match, the winner will face Daniel Bryan at Extreme Rules.
JBL: These two always work well together.

~Commercial Break~

Paige makes her way out to the ring and grabs a microphone from ringside. Paige issues an open challenge to any Diva out in the back.

PAIGE: As I basically demolished Kaitlyn on both RAW and SmackDown last week, I'm daring anybody to come out here and try to take this from me *No one comes out*..that's what I thought, nobody can take this title from me. I'm the most dominating Diva in WWE History and you all wish you were as good as me. I- (Paige is interrupted)[/i]

Kaitlyn's music hits and she makes her way to the ring with a mic in her hand whilst Paige sighs.

PAIGE: Woah, woah. Kaitlyn you've had your shot, I was issuing this challenge to any of the other Diva's on the roster, not YOU.
Kaitlyn: What's the matter Paige? You worried that you'll lose this time?

Kaitlyn rushes down to the ring and the two start to brawl. The referee rings the bell for the match to start.

Opening Match - Kaitlyn vs Paige - Diva's Championship - Singles Match

Paige starts out strong and manages to turn the tables in her favour. She begins to beat away on Kaitlyn and drags her by her hair to the turnbuckle. She then begins to frantically beat on Kaitlyn and the referee soon has to break it up. Kaitlyn begins to fight her way out and delivers a shoulder block to Paige. Kaitlyn begins to stomp on Paige in the center of the ring and goes to the top rope, which is usually not seen. Kaitlyn attempts to go for a move on Paige from the top rope but Paige quickly makes her way over to the turnbuckle and suplexes Kaitlyn to the ring, she then goes for the three count but fails.

Both women make their way back up and start to brawl in the center of the ring. Kaitlyn pulls Paige's hair and throws her to the ring aggressively. She then goes for the three count but fails. Kaitlyn begins to signal to the crowd that she's going to go for a finisher. Kaitlyn attempts to go for the fireman's carry gutbuster but Paige fights out and delivers a Paige Turner to Kaitlyn and finishes the match. Paige screams "NOBODY CAN BEAT ME!" to Kaitlyn as she is dazed in the center of the ring.

Paige makes her way out of the arena with an evil grin on her face holding up the Divas Championship.

~Commercial Break~

Match #2 - Battle Royal to Determine the Number One Contender for the IC Championship

Ryback makes his way to ringside to observe the Battle Royal. It is a 15 Man Battle Royal and the following people come out: Christian, Evan Bourne, Drew McIntyre, Primetime Players, Team Rhodes Scholars, John Morrison, Justin Gabriel, Tyson Kidd, Sin Cara, Rey Mysterio, Kofi Kingston, R-Truth, Wade Barrett.

The Battle Royal starts out fast-paced. Everyone is brawling. Darren Young is quickly eliminated by Cody Rhodes. Christian and Cody Rhodes begin to brawl in the center of the ring, Sandow comes to break this up and begins to brawl with Christian. Christian attempts to eliminate Sandow but Sandow hangs on and Rhodes attempts to eliminate Christian but fails. Evan Bourne manages to eliminate Drew McIntyre. Justin Gabriel and Tyson Kidd work together at the turnbuckle to eliminate Titus O'Niel. Wade Barrett then comes over strong and manages to eliminate Justin Gabriel. Kidd manages to save himself and starts brawling with Barrett, they both attempt to eliminate each other but fail.

Christian manages to eliminate Wade Barrett after Barrett rushes to him and tries to eliminate him. Damien Sandow attempts to eliminate Sin Cara, but Cara uses his quickness to avoid this and manages to eliminate Sandow. However, Rhodes then quickly eliminates Cara.

Christian, Cody Rhodes, Evan Bourne, John Morrison, Tyson Kidd, Rey Mysterio, Kofi Kingston and R-Truth remain. Christian and Cody continue to brawl in the center of the ring and keep trying to eliminate each other various times. Mysterio eventually breaks this up and sets Rhodes up for the 619 and hits it. However, Mysterio isn't watching his back and John Morrison manages to eliminate him. Morrison then also eliminates R-Truth. Kofi attempts to get Morrison eliminated but Bourne manages to eliminate Kingston.

Christian, Cody Rhodes, Evan Bourne, Tyson Kidd and John Morrison remain. The five men look at each other, Christian and Cody begin to brawl again, Evan also gets involved in this. Christian and Evan bourne try to work together to eliminate Cody but Cody hangs on. Tyson Kidd sneaks up on Evan Bourne and eliminates him but then Kidd ends up being eliminated by Rhodes. John Morrison tries to eliminate Rhodes but fails. Rhodes is attempting to eliminate Morrison when Christian sneaks up on Rhodes and attempts to eliminate him. Christian fails. Cody manages to eliminate Morrison and we are left with Christian and Cody Rhodes. Christian and Rhodes begin to brawl in the center of the ring and after a back and fourth contest Chrstian manages to eliminate Rhodes to win the Battle Royal. Ryback stares at Christian as it fades to Commercial Break.

~Commercial Break~

'Here To Show The World' hits and Dolph Ziggler makes his way out to the ring and grabs a Microphone from ringside.

ZIGGLER: So, tonight as you probably know already I'm facing Sheamus in a 2 Out Of 3 Falls match, the winner will face Daniel Bryan at Extreme Rules. I don't even know why this match is happening tonight. It should be me facing Bryan anyway. Both of his wins at RAW and WrestleMania were just him getting lucky. Bryan is scared to face me again because he knows, I'll get that title back. I mean, tonight I'm facing Sheamus, this is the guy who's been on a losing streak for the past few months and if he did pick up a pin during that time it was just him getting lucky. What the hell did Sheamus do to deserve to be a Contender to the World Heavyweight Championship? Nothing, absolutely nothing. Yeah, he got a win on me on SmackDown but that's one win and what that automatically gives him this match? Well you know what I think that-

Before Ziggler can continue speaking, Daniel Bryan's music hits and he comes out to a huge crowd pop. Bryan stands on the stage with a microphone in hand.

BRYAN: Ziggler, I'd just like to let you know that Sheamus is going to kick your ass tonight whether you like it or not. He did it on SmackDown and he will do it again tonight. If by some miracle you do win that match tonight, then get ready to lose at Extreme Rules. This title is with me now and it's staying with me. If you don't like that then you should probably challenge for a Mid-Card title instead, more your style.

This angers Ziggler and he screams at Bryan to come down to the ring. Bryan runs down to the ring and the two have an intense brawl. Bryan shoves Ziggler in to the turnbuckle and begins to kick him repeatedly shouting 'Yes!" Ziggler fights out but Bryan manages to knock him out of the ring. As Ziggler is making his way up, Bryan dives out of the ring with a flying headbutt to Ziggler. Bryan gets back up and celebrates to the crowd who cheer. Bryan makes his way out of the arena and he picks up the World Title from the stage. Bryan has an intense staredown on the stage with a dazed Ziggler who looks like he's wants to fight with Bryan some more. Bryan walks out and this angers Ziggler.

Match #3 - Ryback vs Christian - Intercontinental Championship - Singles Match

Ryback and Christian both make their way out to the ring. Ryback starts off strong delivering several blows to Christian and knocking him down. Ryback then Irish Whips Christian to the turnbuckle and begins to beat on him some more. Christian begins to fight back against Ryback and manages to get the big man down. However, this doesn't last for long as Ryback gets back in control and delivers a spinebbuster to Christian. As a dazed Christian is making his way back up, Ryback goes for the ShellShock and almost hits it but Christian manages to worm his way out

Christian tries to go for the Killswitch but Ryback fights out of it and suplexes Christian and he then goes for the meathook and hits it. Ryback goes for the three count but Christian kicks out at two. Frustration can be seen building on Ryback's face as he continues to beat on Christian and goes for several failed pin attempts. Christian begins to fight back but Ryback keeps knocking him down and changing it to his favour. The crowd is booing Ryback heavily and he turns his attention to the crowd momentarily and shouts "RYBACK RULES!", Christian can be seen setting up for the spear and the crowd cheer. Christian goes for the spear but Ryback manages to dodge him and Christian goes in to the turnbuckle. Ryback yells "STUPID!" at Christian and shoves him out the ring.

Ryback irish whips Christian in to the barricade and continues to talk trash to the crowd. Christian begins to make his comeback and hits several blows on Ryback. Christian surprisingly irish whips Ryback in to the barricade and the bigman is down. As a dazed Ryback gets back up Christian hits the Killswitch on Ryback and begins to build momentum, the crowd cheer at this. Christian gets back in the ring and Ryback almost gets counted out but makes it back in just before the ten count. Ryback begins to lose it and gets back out of the ring and grabs a steel chair from under the ring. Ryback repeatedly hits Christian with the steel chair and the referee stops the match. Christian wins via DQ but Ryback keeps his title. Ryback walks out of the arena laughing at the crowd who boo him heavily. Christian is hurt in the middle of the ring.

We cut to a backstage segment and Edge approaches Ryback.

EDGE: Hey, what the hell was that out there?
RYBACK: I was handling business.
EDGE: Next week on RAW you will defend your title against Christian and if you're counted out or disqualified you will lose the Championship, got it?

Ryback has an intense staredown with Edge and he looks like he's about to hit him but walks away.

MAIN EVENT - Sheamus vs Dolph Ziggler - Number One Contender's 2 Out of 3 Falls Match

It's time for the huge Main Event, Sheamus and Ziggler both make their entrane. Sheamus starts out strong delivering several blows to Ziggler. Ziggler then starts to fight back and the two go back and fourth for a while. Sheamus shoves Ziggler in to the turnbuckle and then charges at him but misses. Ziggler pushes Sheamus to the turnbuckle and begins to beat on him frantically. Sheamus fights back and throws Ziggler over the ropes and delivers ten blows. Sheamus brings Ziggler back in to the ring and prepares to do the Brogue Kick as a dazed Ziggler is getting back up, Sheamus attempts to go for the Brogue Kick and misses. Ziggler sharply rushes behind Sheamus and delivers a Zig-Zag. The first fall goes to Ziggler.

Ziggler begins to show off to the crowd and begins shouting "I'M JUST TOO GOOD!" to them. Sheamus makes his way back up and the two continue to brawl. Sheamus delivers White Noise to Ziggler and again sets up for the Brogue Kick. Ziggler manages to miss it again and tries to go for another Zig-Zig. However, Sheamus anticpated the move and quickly turns the match in to this favour again. Sheamus hits a High Cross on Ziggler and once again goes for the Brogue Kick and this time hits it. Sheamus gains a fall. The falls stand at 1-1, the next person to get a fall will win the contest.

The crowd is highly in to this match and it is 50/50. Ziggler and Sheamus begin to brawl in the center of the ring. Ziggler gets Sheamus down and hits multiple Elbow Drops to Sheamus. Ziggler goes for the pin attempt but fails. Ziggler can be seen getting a little frustrated with Sheamus and he begins to frantically beat on Sheamus. Sheamus makes his way back in to the match and throws Ziggler out of the ring. Sheamus then irish whips Ziggler in to the barricade. Ziggler and Sheamus are fairly dazed. As the two men get back in to the ring, still brawling, Ziggler manages to hit a Zig-Zig. When it looks like it's about to be over, Sheamus kicks out at two and half. Ziggler begins to argue with the referee over this decision and Sheamus sneakily sets up for the Brogue Kick. However, Ziggler sees it coming and dodges the Brogue Kick. He then goes back to a tactic he used earlier in the match and sneaks behind Sheamus and delivers a Zig-Zig. Ziggler gains the second fall to win the match. Dolph Ziggler will face Daniel Bryan at Extreme Rules.

JBL: What a battle, I can't wait for Extreme Rules.
COLE: It's going to be a memorable night for sure.

Suddenly Bryan sneaks out to the ring and delivers a sneak attack on Ziggler. Bryan stands over Ziggler laughing and signalling to the crowd that he will win at Extreme Rules.

Hartford, Connecticut - XL Center

Quote:
The huge talking point of Randy Orton hitting an RKO on Triple H is shown.
Lawler and JBL welcome the viewers to SmackDown. Randy Orton's music hits and he makes his way to the ring with a sinister look on his face. He enters the ring to a chorus of boos. Orton grabs a microphone from ringside and the crowd is chanting "You suck!"

RANDY ORTON: Well, it's not like I didn't expect this kind of reaction. I mean we are in the terrible place that is Connecticut tonight. Don't be upset because I laid out your hero Triple H on Monday. He got given what had been coming to him for a while. Just like everyone in this arena tonight, Triple H is too much of a wuss to come out here tonight. He's probably at home, whining in Stephanie's arms still in pain from that shattering RKO I delivered. YOU really thought I was a good guy? I've never been a good guy and I never will be a good guy. There's just certain things you've got to do in life. All I've had is people coming up to me asking me "Why Randy, why did you do it?" and you know what I told them? Nothing. It's none of their business and it's none of your business either. So Triple H, are you going to continue to sit out in the back being a wuss or are you actually going to come out here and face me?

Triple H does not come out but before Randy can can continue speaking, he is sneak attacked by Triple H. Triple H stands over Randy laughing at him as the Connecticut crowd cheer. Triple H grabs the microphone from the floor.

TRIPLE H: YOU BETTER WATCH YOUR BACK.

Triple H makes his way out of the arena in a raged state and he looks over to Randy from the top of the stage and is tempted to beat on him some more.

LAWLER: I can't believe all of this has happened, they were friends a few weeks ago.
JBL: They were never friends, King. Orton has always had a grudge against Triple H. He might have not shown it, but deep down, he never liked him. The two have always been bitter rivals and they've only just realized it.

Team Rhodes Scholars' music hits and they make their way to the ring, as do The Shield

Match #1 - Team Rhodes Scholars vs Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins w/Roman Reigns

Roman Reigns can be heard telling Ambrose and Rollins to focus. Ambrose decides to start and Rhodes decides to start. Rhodes dodges several blows from Ambrose and hits a disaster kick early on. Rhodes goes for the pin but Ambrose kicks out at two and a half. Rhodes continues to beat on Ambrose and keeps pulling him away and preventing him tagging in Rollins. Rhodes drags Ambrose to the turnbuckle and tags in Sandow. The crowd can be heard cheering for Team Rhodes Scholars and they are showing slight signs of being faces. Sandow begins to beat away on Ambrose on the turnbuckle. Rhodes and Sandow continue to tag eachother in and out of the match and copy the Shield's strategy.

Ambrose begins to fight his way out of the turnbuckle and manages to get Sandow down. Ambrose begins to frantically beat away on Sandow and yells to the crowd "THIS IS OUR YARD." Ambrose tags in Rollins and Rollins attempts to isolate Sandow but Sandow fights out and manages to quickly tag in Rhodes. Rhodes and Rollins begin to brawl in the center of the ring. Rollins Irish Whips Rhodes out of the ring. Reigns can be seen patrolling the ring outside. He looks like he's about to beat on Rhodes but the referee is watching. Rollins gets out of the ring and two begin to brawl. Sandow can be seen watching Ambrose and Reigns like a hawk. Rhodes shoves Rollins in to the barrier and gets back in to the ring to tag Sandow in.

Rollins makes his way back in the ring and Sandow Irish Whips Rollins to the turnbuckle. Sandow begins to methodically beat away on Rollins and manages to isolate him in the corner. Rhodes and Sandow once again begin to exchange tags and continue to beat away on Rollins. Sandow eventually goes for a pin attempt but Rollins kicks out at two and a half. Sandow goes for the Elbow of Disdain but Rollins reverses it and manages to counter it in his favour. Rollins makes his way to Ambrose whilst Sandow makes his way to Rhodes. They both tag at roughly the same time and Rhodes and Ambrose begin to brawl in the center of the ring.

After a long back and fourth brawl, Rhodes manages to hit Cross Rhodes on Ambrose. It looks like it's the end of the match but Ambrose kicks out at two and half. Rhodes begins to become frustrated and this leads to his downfall as Ambrose hits a Headlock Driver to secure the pin. The Shield make their way out of the arena with evil grins on their faces.

~Commercial Break~

Booker T can be seen approaching Randy backstage.

BOOKER T: Randy, hold on dawg, where do you think you're going?
ORTON: Home.
BOOKER T: Not yet, you're not. You have a match against Sheamus tonight dawg.

Orton looks like he wants to hit Booker but goes and prepares for his match against Sheamus. The camera returns to the announce table.

LAWLER: Randy Orton vs Sheamus tonight, oh man. What a match!
JBL: I can't wait for that! What a collision!

A number one contenders Diva's Battle Royal is announced. The Bella Twins, Tamina, Kaitlyn, AJ Lee, Layla, Natalya, Aksana, Alicia Fox all make their way out to the ring. Paige makes her way out to observe the Battle Royal.

Brie Bella tries to get revenge on Kaitlyn and get her out, but Kaitlyn manages to get Brie out. Tamnia then begins to dominate the rest of the Diva's and almost eliminates Kaitlyn. Natalya attempts to sneak up on Tamina and eliminate her but Tamina counters and almost eliminates Natalya but Natalya holds on. AJ Lee tries to keep away from combat as much as possible and let's all the other Diva's do the work. However, Kaitlyn attempts to eliminate AJ. Natalya and Tamina begin to brawl with eachother which ends with Natalya eliminating Tamina with the help of Layla. However, Natalya also eliminates Layla.

AJ, Natalya and Kaitlyn are left. Kaitlyn proves too much for AJ and as a result AJ is eliminated. It is down to the friends Kaitlyn and Natalya. Kaitlyn and Natalya attempt to eliminate eachother various times but fail. It is nearing the end of the Battle Royal. Kaitlyn gets Natalya over the ropes and Natalya is just holding on. In a shocking turn of events, Kaitlyn attempts to charge at Natalya but misses thus eliminating herself. Natalya is the shock number one contender.

As Natalya is celebrating Paige gets in to the ring and does a sneak attack on Natalya. Paige walks out with an evil grin on her face holding the Diva's Championship.

~Commercial Break~

Wade Barret's music hits and he makes his way down to the ring with a Microphone in hand.

BARRETT: So, I don't have a match tonight, again. What a disgrace. The greatest wrestler in WWE currently does not have a match? I know and everyone else knows that I should be still the Intercontinental Champion. I was cheated. What I'm proposing is Ryback comes out here right now and faces me. Or, is he too scared to face the great BARRETT BARRAGE?

Ryback makes his way down to the ring looking menacing as ever. He rushes to the ring and this match is officially underway.

Match #3 - Wade Barrett vs Ryback - Singles Match

Ryback starts off strong and shoves Barrett in to the turnbuckle. Ryback begins to deliver several blows to Barrett and several shoulder blows. Barrett is down at the turnbuckle and Ryback continues to beat away on him. Ryback begins to focus on the crowd a little too much and Barrett begins to fight back against Ryback. Barrett delivers several blows to Ryback and gets the big man down. Barrett continues to beat away on Ryback and goes for several pin attempts but Ryback continues to kick out with authority. Barrett becomes frustrated with Ryback and this leads to his downfall as Ryback begins to make his way back in to the match and continues to beat away on Barrett. He then irish whips him to the outside of the ring.

Once outside Ryback shoves Barrett in to the barricade. He starts to talk trash to the crowd and saying RYBACK RULES. Barrett begins to fight out and then shoves Ryback in to the barricade and gives him a taste of his own medicine. Barrett makes his way back in to the ring and Ryback makes it back in before the ten count. Ryback and Barrett begin to brawl in the center of the ring, Barrett eventually gets the upperhand and delivers the Bull Hamer to Ryback. Ryback manages to kick out at two and half much to the shock of Barrett. Barrett continues to get frustrated with Ryback and continues to frantically beat away on him. Ryback makes his way back in to the match and dodges several of Barrett's moves. Barrett attempts to hit the Winds of Change on Ryback but Ryback counters it and delivers a shattering powerbomb. Ryback begins to set up for the meathook and hits it and then follows this with a ShellShock, Ryback gets the three count on Barrett.

Ryback begins to exit the arena with his Intercontinental Title shouting "DONE!". As Ryback is facing the crowd, Christian sneak attacks Ryback. Christian holds up the Intercontinental Championship and the crowd cheer heavily at this.

~Commercial Break~

Sheamus manages to counter the RKO and hits White Noise on Orton. Sheamus sets up for the Brogue Kick and attempts to hit it. Default Re: WWE: 2014 - Rise & Fall

Okay, so this is the first time I’ve taken a look at your BTB and I find it interesting, so I’ve decided to read it through and comment on it. So I’m commenting as I’m reading

First off, I like your setup in the opening thread. Nice and readable. Your roster section and champions section looks good. I don’t get what you’ve done with the MITB 2013 results… Cesaro and Ryback winning, cashing in successfully, but only to have them both lose their rematch? Well, maybe you had your reasons. Onto your WrestleMania 30 results… Ziggler vs. Bryan in a 2-out-of-3 Falls match sounds awesome in itself, but would’ve loved a better/more detailed backstory to really understand how Bryan has been build up to a realistic Rumble winner and WrestleMania headliner. Bryan winning is interesting, but again I would have loved a more detailed backstory here. Punk defeating Austin, and good that you mentioned when Punk won the title in the backstory. Undertaker vs. Cena is the obvious choice and of course with Taker winning it, but I don’t like at all that you made a face Cena tap. Don’t think he’s EVER done that… At least not after becoming a main eventer. Lesnar vs. Rock is again the obvious choice and a fine one, but if it was Rock’s last match I think I would prefer him to win. But then again, you might have plans for Lesnar. Shield defeating one-night-reunited Evolution is a huge statement as to what they can do and maybe also as to what you’re planning for them. But I can’t help thinking that you just had three new midcarder guys beat three main eventersand former World Champions. Paige defeating Kaitlyn for the Divas Championship was okay in my book I guess, but I don’t get what you meant with “Paige appeared to be too much for Kaitlyn”. Too much in what way, because Kaitlyn is bigger and stronger than Paige. Ryback vs. Jericho has been done before irl, but I don’t get why you would put the Intercontinental Championship on Ryback. Will have to wait and see where you take this. Overall I’m a bit concerned to see a lot of frequent championship changes. Ryback and Cesaro only had their titles for about a month. Kaitlyn had a short run, and Jericho only had the Intercontinental Championship for a couple of weeks.

RAW – April 7th

Opening segment: A good way to open the show here. You seem to manage to capture their characters good, even though I can’t help thinking that Punk couldn’t care less about Cena wishing him good luck :P And Cena calling Punk a cheater without covering it up somehow isn’t like Cena. That just made him sound very bitter. The ending did absolutely nothing for me though… That ruined the whole segment. Why have Cena come out and leave without doing or saying anything regarding his past or future? Why have Punk fleeing from Stone Cold before he even reached the ring?? That made the WWE Champion look weak. And why have Stone Cold come out there just to say one line and then stun two commentators? And last, an opening segment is supposed to somehow be the base of the entire show… This gave nothing away. A match wasn’t booked or anything like that.

Announcements: First of all, I don’t think Cole and JBL would be back as commentators 3-4 minutes after receiving Stunners. Definitely not Cole. Regal as a commentator I like though The three rematches from WrestleMania sounds good, and I’m especially looking forward to Bryan vs. Ziggler. Shield statement will be interesting, and I’m excited to see who you’ll have as RAW GM.

GM Announcement: Surprised to hear that Vickie has been fired, as she is a huge draw. Vince didn’t really say anything at all which doesn’t seem like him, but Edge becoming the GM is surprising and interesting if done right. Edge not really saying anything either even though he has just been announced as the new GM is again out of character.

Bryan vs. Ziggler: First, if this was for the World title, does that mean that Ziggler used his rematch clause?? If so, I think Ziggler would’ve waited to do so to the next PPV. Anyway… This match was WAY too short for a full written match. Actually I think it would have been too short even for a recapped match. And why would Bryan start off aggressive?? He’s face and has just won the World title last night? If you’re gonna write the matches in full, that would be move by move and describing everything that happens which is great to do, it should be a whole lot longer and more detailed. And then in the end… “Ziggler goes for the neckbreaker but misses it”?? The neckbreaker?? Do you mean his Zig Zag?? But on the good side, Bryan winning and making Ziggler tap was good.

Shield segment: Sounded okay, but couldn’t help laughing a bit about the fact that Ambrose just called the fans idiots and then Reigns goes on and answers his own rhetorical question like a complete moron :P Undertaker coming out is confusing… You describing that he came to the ring quickly is even more confusing and unbelievable, as Undertaker’s entrance always takes like forever. And why would Shield, a group that thrives on number advantage, flee from a 3-on-1 situation with Undertaker? And last, why would Undertaker come out and interrupt Shield when what he had to say had nothing at all to do with Shield?? But… Undertaker announcing that he’s not done yet is okay, but I’m interesting to see who you end up having him face at WM 31 since he has faced EVERYONE who’s worthy of a streak match.

Paige vs. Kaitlyn: Again I think it’s way too early to cash in the rematch clause. Again way too short… Kaitlyn just used her rematch clause for a match that lasted one minute and ended up with a DQ?! And again you describe Paige as being too much for Kaitlyn and she’s even throwing her around, even though Kaitlyn is way bigger than Paige :P

Jericho interview: Nice little interview here… Good job.

Ryback vs. Jericho: AGAIN I have to say that it’s too early for a rematch clause to be used. Okay, what was good for you here was that it was a bit longer. But again I have to say that you’re not detailed enough… The way you described it here, the Lionsault was like the third move in the match, the Meat Hook the fifth move and the attempt for Shell Shock as the sixth move. And how can Jericho lock in the Walls of Jericho and then hit the Lionsault?? It sounds a lot to me like you don’t even know the moves?? How can Jericho have Ryback in a submission move and then suddenly jump from the ropes to hit the Lionsault?? Makes no sense at all. Ryback winning was good and the right choice.

Reigns vs. Kofi: Okay now I’m confused… I thought that Reigns was Tag Team Champions with Rollins, and Ambrose was United States Champion like in real life. And also, in your championship section it says that Reigns won the United States Championship at WM 30, but the match wasn’t on the WM 30 card?? Anyway… Again this match was better than the other. Decent written, good ending, but again I could use some more detailed description.

Ambrose/Rollins vs. Rhodes Scholars: First of all, heel vs. heel is never good in my book. And again a championship match?? Again descent written, not bad. Even though I didn’t like how it ended with a win directly after a tag, Sandow being pinned was the right call.

Cena vs. Punk: Now this match was way better written. Still not detailed enough and not near long enough, but it was way better. Than the first ones. I don’t like the finish as you describe it with no emotions at all. Just very plane like “He goes for his finisher but it was reversed and now the other guy hits his finisher and wins”. Punk winning was obvious, but I thought for sure that Stone Cold would come out at some point and mess with Punk.

Overall: Well… Overall I think you have A LOT of work in front of you. If you wanna write in full format and write the matches from start to finish move from move, you really have to improve a lot. Your matches has as little details as possible, there is no emotions what so ever in your descriptions which causes absolutely no excitement while I read, and your matches is WAAAAAAY to short. As far as the booking goes, there was six matches where FIVE of them were title matches, which would’ve been okay on a PPV but not for a normal RAW show. You had ONE interview which was as short as possible. And you had two segments, both in-ring and none of them made any sense what so ever. My advice for you would be: Take your time on writing shows, don’t rush it. Plan ahead so your storylines makes sense. And possibly read other BTBs for inspiration.

This was only a review for your first show. I’ll keep reading and reviewing, and will of course read the other three shows that you’ve posted so far and leave comments, and would of course love if you visited my BTB as well and commented/reviewed
