WWE Programming

Isn't my track record just awesome? For this, I'll be using the same format as New Blood, New Ventures. For those who don't know that format, it's recap/extended recap. HOPEFULLY, I can keep the motivation for this one up but, who knows. The rosters haven't been separated into the normal Raw/Smackdown because quite honestly, the brand extension is dead and has been for years.

Re: World Wrestling Entertainment - The New Blood

>WrestleMania Fallout - The Rock Injured? The Undertaker Not Taking Time Off? More.!<

In a rather serious turn of events, The Rock may have suffered an injury during the WWE Championship match with John Cena. Rock took to twitter to congratulate John Cena as WrestleMania went off the air and also noted that he was seeing WWE Doctors to see if what he thinks is an injury, is in fact such a feat. The Rock tweeted:

@TheRock: Congrats to John, much deserved. Feeling banged up though, going to see WWE Doctors to find out if I suffered an injury. #FightStrong!

In addition to Rock's possible injury, CM Punk is said to be severely banged up following the table spot during his match with the Undertaker at WrestleMania. Punk landed on his knee as he connected with the table and he was sported favouring it for the remainder of the match. CM Punk had been rumoured to taking time off post-WrestleMania and this could give the former WWE Champion more reason to do so.

It has become somewhat of a tradition for the Undertaker to compete at WrestleMania and fade away until the next years big event however, this year Undertaker is expected to feature on WWE Television on a more regular basis. Undertaker is currently advertised to appear on Raw until Extreme Rules where he is also being advertised, with this in mind, it is fully expected Undertaker will be competing in some capacity at Extreme Rules.

Despite Triple H successfully winning against Brock Lesnar in a match that seen 'The Game' put his career on the line, the WWE COO is likely to take an extended absence from in ring action. Triple H has been slowly gaining a lot of power internally and is currently the head of WWE's development system. Triple H is believed to want to give his full attention to continuing to restructure the system and hope to bring NXT to American television in the near future.

Brock Lesnar on the other hand, has in fact signed a one year extension with the WWE so do not expect to see him disappear from screens any time soon. Brock had been rumoured to be facing The Rock next year at WrestleMania 30 if reports of him signing an extension turned out to be true however, The Rock is now not expected to be appearing, much less competing at next years event. The feeling is that whilst Vince may be high on using The Rock whenever possible, morale backstage will be strained due to The Rock ending up having another main event spot at WrestleMania, a feat that would be the forth time in four years.

Vince McMahon is said to be extremely pleased with how the younger talent did at WrestleMania, The Shield were well received backstage as was Fandango despite the ending to the match with Chris Jericho. The Shield are to continue dominating on screen for the foreseeable future whilst Fandango is expected to continue a feud with Chris Jericho until Jericho goes off on tour with his band Fozzy.

Whilst Dolph Ziggler was competing in a tag team match for the championships at WrestleMania, he is not staying in that division for long. Vince McMahon wants Dolph Ziggler to cash in the briefcase sooner rather than later and it would come as no surprise if Dolph Ziggler were to cash in the briefcase before the end of May. Big E. Langston will not be going back to development as officials are more than happy with how fans have reacted to him.

New WWE Hall of Famer, Bruno Sammartino is scheduled to take part in a WWE DVD Feature on his career, Sammartino agreed to this deal when he signed up for the WWE Hall of Fame however, do not expect to see Sammartino on regular or semi-regular WWE Television any time soon.

Advertised for Raw tomorrow night is the Tonnes of Funk versus. Rhodes Scholars & The Bella Twins, the match never took place at WrestleMania due to time constraints.

Bog standard stuff here, Raw preview to come in a few days and then it's showtime.

Re: World Wrestling Entertainment - The New Blood

IZOD Center - East Rutherford, New Jersey
April 8th, 2013

Coming off of one of the biggest WrestleMania's of all time, WWE remains in New Jersey for Monday Night Raw and it's hosted just a few minutes away from METLife Stadium. Monday Night Raw will bare witness to the WrestleMania fallout.

The big story coming out of WrestleMania Twenty-Nine was that of John Cena becoming a thirteen time WWE Champion after he finally put an end to his twelve month nightmare and defeated The Rock in the main event. The match between the two icons of different generations was back and forth with no clear winner in sight until the very last Attitude Adjustment was delivered to "The Great One" and forcing him down for the emphatic three count, sending New Jersey into a frenzy. WWE's most controversial Superstar ever is indeed in attendance tonight to address the WWE Universe but, with recent news about The Rock possibly suffering an injury, will he even be in the New Jersey region for tonight's broadcast?

The Chief Operating Officer, Triple H overcame the monster that is Brock Lesnar after a hellacious No Holds Barred Match which also had the formers in-ring WWE career on the line. The two heated Superstars engaged in the ultimate battle and pulled out all the stops, "The Game" even locked Brock Lesnar in his own finishing move. Tonight, the WWE Universe sees the fallout of this encounter with Triple H addressing the crowd. Brock Lesnar had hoped that tonight would see Triple H deliver a retirement speech, not Triple H addressing his victory. Nonetheless, whatever Triple H has to say, Brock Lesnar will surely be listening carefully.

A trend for Paul Heyman at WrestleMania was that both Superstars he led to the ring... lost. Not only did Brock Lesnar fall to "The Game" but CM Punk failed to beat The Streak. The moniker 'the match of the night' between the longest reigning WWE Champion of the modern era and The Undertaker most certainly wont sit as well with CM Punk as many would think. The Undertaker however, extended his impressive streak to 21 - 0 at WrestleMania and on Raw tonight, The Undertaker will make an in-ring appearance. CM Punk however, has not been heard from since his loss to "The Deadman" What does The Undertaker have in store for the WWE Universe as he walks into Raw?

Jack Swagger was unsuccessful in capturing the World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania and in order to prove he is still the top contender for the championship, Swagger must defeat an opponent of Booker T's choosing on tonights broadcast. Who will Swagger end up competing against and what part will Alberto Del Rio play?

On the in-ring sides of things, Monday Night Raw see's Wade Barrett cash in his rematch against The Miz as he looks to take back the Intercontinental Championship he lost at the WrestleMania pre-show. Tonnes of Funk take on Rhodes Scholars in a match that was originally intended for WrestleMania but was moved to Raw instead, Fandango will be in action and Kane will take on Dolph Ziggler.

Confirmed For Raw

The New WWE Champion, John Cena addresses his WrestleMania victory
Triple H speaks on keeping his in-ring career alive
The Undertaker in attendance
Jack Swagger vs. A Mystery Opponent
Kane vs. Dolph Ziggler
The Miz defends the Intercontinental Championship against Wade Barrett

Re: World Wrestling Entertainment - The New Blood

I've been waiting for someone that I enjoy reading their writing to have a crack at WWE 2013 so I'm thrilled that you've chosen this time period. The news and the preview look good, looking forward to it.

Fandango for WWE Champion, imo.
