Default WWE 2002 Re-Written

2002 was not only a good year for professional wrestling but it was a good year for the WWE and for a number of reasons. Firstly it was the year that marked the end of the Attitude Era and the dawn of the Ruthless Aggression era. Secondly the brand extension was something fresh and new and at the time it was exciting. The nWo making there presence felt in the WWE 2002 was the year future WWE Champions made their debut it was also the year Shawn Michaels made his return and shockingly it was the year we saw Vince McMahon hire Eric Bischoff as the Raw General Manager. The World Heavyweight Championship was reincarnated and along with the brand extension all the titles became exclusive to a brand.

Those are my reasons why I loved 2002 with this thread I am going to re write the year that was 2002 a lot of it was good there are only certain things about the year 2002 I will change. I am going to start from the Royal Rumble pay per view and then work my way to the end of the year. I will post the roster and Champions list soon.

Default Monday Night Raw Preview

What a night last night at the Royal Rumble kicking off the road to Wrestlemania X8 tonight Raw is live from the American Airlines Arena in Miami Florida.

What will the fallout from the Royal Rumble last night have in store? What will Stone Cold Steve Austin, Kurt Angle and Undtertaker do now that they did not win the Royal Rumble match. What condition is the young rookie who won the first ever Tough Enough competition Maven in after the hellacious attack he suffered at the hands of Undertaker last night.

We now know that Triple H will face the WWF Champion at Wrestlemania X8 after he eliminated Kurt Angle to win the Royal Rumble Match. What will tonight bring as we get set to take the final home stretch on the road to Wrestlemania X8.

Default Monday Night Raw Preview

WWF MONDAY NIGHT RAW PREVIEW - January 21 2002
BI-LO Center

Greenville, South Carolina

TIME TO PLAY THE GAME
Last night The Game Triple H entered the Royal Rumble Match and survived 23 minutes and 14 seconds to win the Royal Rumble. Triple H will now face the WWF Champion at Wrestlemania X8 at Wrestlemania X8 it will be time to play the game for the WWF Champion. The Game last night delivered good on his promise to win the Royal Rumble Match and only time will tell if he delivers good on his promise to win the WWF Championship at Wrestlemania X8.

WHAT NEXT FOR THE ROCK?
Last night The Rock lost again to Chris Jericho in a WWF Title match last month Jericho beat both Stone Cold Steve Austin and The Rock in the same night to become the first ever Undisputed WWF Champion even though he may have taken shortcuts to get the Title. Last night was no different Jericho had help from Lance Storm and Christian who distracted the referee as Jericho was tapping out to The Rock's sharpshooter. He even had help from crooked official Nick Patrick he also used an exposed turnbuckle and he even used the Championship Title Belt as a weapon.

The question is what is next on the card for The Rock? Another WWF Title match is doubtful now that he has had 2 shots in a row at the title and has come up short. Although he was unjustly beaten which may give him right to another shot at the title. There are a number of guys who are in the running for a title match such as Stone Cold Steve Austin and Kurt Angle and with No Way Out the last stop on the road to Wrestlemania on the horizon there is one more opportunity for someone to win the WWF Title and headline the main event of Wrestlemania.

We know one thing is for sure and that is that The Rock is llivid and wants to get his hands on Y2J Chris Jericho.

WE HAVE A NEW INTERCONTINENTAL CHAMPION
Last night WIlliam Regal defeated Edge to become the new WWF Intercontinental Champion after using the illegal brass knuckles while the referee was inadvertently knocked out to pick up the win. Tonight on Raw Edge has demanded his rematch for the title.

WHAT'S NEXT FOR VINCE MCMAHON?
Since Flair revealed himself as the co-owner of the WWF and Vince McMahon's business partner Vince McMahon has not been happy and the tension and power struggle between the two lead to a brutal street fight last night. Ric Flair picked up the win with his signature move the figure four leg lock but what everybody wants to know is what does Vince McMahon have in store? What is the fallout from the street fight last night going to be?

WHAT YOU'LL SEE ON RAW TONIGHT
TAG TEAM MAIN EVENT
The Rock & Triple H vs Kurt Angle & Chris Jericho

INTERCONTINENTAL TITLE MATCH
William Regal (c) vs Edge

APA AT WWF NEW YORK
The APA are in New York City and will be partying and drinking some cold ones at WWF New York tonight and on RAW tonight we will cross live to the APA and they will talk about the Royal Rumble was last night.

PLUS

THE RETURN OF THE GODFATHER
Tonight on RAW The Godfather is back to his old pimpin' ways pimpin' hoes and riding the ho train and tonight he will be making his return to Monday Night RAW.

I loved WWF during this time too. You also forgot the most iconic match in Wrestlemania History; Hogan vs. the Rock. Looking forward to seeing what you do with this.

Great time period. A bit clumsy on the spelling mate but, I love the premise and I'll try and keep an eye out on this here thread.

Good luck.

Looks very good, I miss 2002 so much, so I'll definitely be reading this.

By the way, for some reason, I can't see any of the pictures you put up.
