So yeah, welcome. I've taken some time away, even if it is just a few months, to recharge my batteries whatnot, and I've decided to come back with a thread based on my favourite time period in wrestling history. I have put a fair bit of time in planning this and getting ahead of myself, but other than that, I don't have a clue where this may or may not go. It may last a week, it may last a decade - I'm not even going to try and say.

For those of you that don't know me all that well, I am a huge fan of independent wrestling, Puro and Lucha, so don't be completely surprised if I do bring in outside talent. In fact, I plan on doing so for the sole reason that I want to have fun with this and using characters and wrestlers that I enjoy watching will help me do so. So realism won't exactly be a big thing in this, but hopefully I don't become that unrealistic to the point where it is off-putting for you, the readers.

In terms of "in the thread", the first show will be the Raw following Wrestlemania 20. All the results remain the same other than one. I've said it several times, but as much as I love The Undertaker as a wrestler, as a gimmick and as a performer, I absolutely hate booking him as "The Deadman". In case you don't know the time period, at Survivor Series 2003, Vince McMahon buried The Undertaker (who was then performing under the American Badass gimmick) with the help of Kane. 'Taker would then return at Wrestlemania after months of teases and vignettes as The Deadman, to defeat his brother. I am removing that match from my Wrestlemania card. So as it stands, The Undertaker has not returned and has not been seen since Survivor Series 2003, and Kane has been doing very little as of late in terms of actual feuds, other than winning the traditional Wrestlemania pre-show Battle Royal to win absolutely nothing.

Also, heading in to Wrestlemania, it was well known Brock Lesnar and Goldberg (who faced off at the event) would be making their last appearances in the WWE. In this thread, consider this true. Both men's issues will be addressed in storyline. I shall say no more.

Hate. Appreciate. Do what you want. Raw preview and a few tidbits to be up soon, maybe.

Interesting time to right for. Both brands could have done with a little more firepower at this time, particularly with Lesnar and Goldberg on their way out, so it will be interesting to see how you 'address those issues', as you put it. Good luck, I'll be reading

Very much love this time period as well as your writing, so I've been excited for a while with all the posts you've had in the advertisement thread.

Best of luck in this, will be keeping a close eye on it.

Not much to comment on since things are looking pretty standard thus far, but there should be more to say once your first show is posted. I'm curious to see how you're going to bring Undertaker back "from the dead", but without his Deadman gimmick.

Also, Edge wasn't a Raw superstar until the draft lottery, and he wasn't a tweener, he was a babyface. So, you may have given away that he's going to turn heel upon his return. Anyway, good luck, I'll keep an eye on this. As Stojy has just brought back his 2004 thread, I'll be looking to see if you book things any differently to him.

I don't know how much we've discussed this thing in the past few months, I know you're pumped about this time period! Feel you've got the talent, just make sure you stick with this! Let's hope you're better at booking this period than you are at playing 5 a side...

Good to see you back booking, and booking perhaps my favourite time period. I enjoyed your 2011 thread, so I have no doubts I'll enjoy this too.

Good luck with this BRO!

Good to see ya' back Flux, as I've always been a big fan of your work, and this should be no different.

Interesting to see that you are going on without Lesnar and Da' MAN, which already differs you from a majority of threads in the same time period. However, zero marks for no Deadman...

Anyway, best of luck mate, looking forward to the first show!

Good luck with this new thread of yours. It is indeed a great time for booking, right after WrestleMania 20, and I'll be reading to see what you make of it all. Especially without the Undertaker having returned and the hole filled by Lesnar & Goldberg's departures.

Good luck
