Re: WWE: Cementing your Legacy, Boxing with God.

The rumor mill.

  • Sources within the WWE are reporting that Mark Henry, Daniel Bryan, and John Cena were the 3 main choices to win the Royal Rumble match, however plans were changed in order to convey the unpredictability of The Shield to the casual audience watching for the first time. Even though it appears Zack Ryder will be awarded with the Royal Rumble victory, it is highly unlikely he'll be in a World championship match at Wrestlemania.

  • In addition to this the original plan for the Rock vs Punk finish was for a planted fan wearing an El Generico mask to run in and distract the Rock. The plan was to reveal the fan to be Brad Maddox.

  • Reports have surfaced claiming WWE is looking at bringing back 'Bash at the Beach' as either a theme for Summerslam, or as the PPV for July.

  • The WWE are reportedly trying to broker a deal that would see the Wrestlemania run time increased to five hours for the first time in 9 years.
