Re: Pinnacle Combat :The Dark Horse Of Revolution
The scene fades to Tazz in the center of a ring in front of an empty arena. He is wearing a black tuxedo, standing dead center in the ring, looking into the camera. Three shadows lie on either side of him.
Tazz : Ever since my departure from the higher-up companies, I realized that I've earned an ample amount of respect and reputation, not only as a wrestler but as a worker in this industry alone. With that being said, I've decided to wind down and create my own promotion to go up against the Big 2 of America. Why? No, it wasn't over the money I was getting. Actually, it was because not only to stay in the sport but because I want to be the one to fit his way into the top promoters in the world. I didn't reveal the rosters because they are a surprise, but I will tell you that they will all be making an appearance whether its backstage cutting a promo, brawling backstage or competing in this very ring. This isn't your average promotion where its about cutting the sports entertainment with gritty, rebellious, alternative wrestling. This isn't your hardcore promotion. This is your “anything and everything can happen” promotion. This is your “be prepared for anything” federation and trust me after this show, you won't want to miss another. This is where wrestling is about the performance equally as much as the crowd reaction. But enough of my yappin'! I'm Tazz, alongside Amy Dumas and Todd Grisham! Welcome to Pin-
Just as he was going to give the pop-filled line, Amy Dumas covers his mouth and Tazz immediately looks at her.
Dumas : No, this isn't the right time to say something as monumental as that. I think it would be best if you wait.
Tazz : Alright, then on with the two-hour pilot special ppv of Pinnacle Wrestling!
The scene fades from the three, to a less than moderate pyro performance. After ending, it leads to a hip-hop tune. As the camera zooms out, it is panned to a moderately large audience.
We start off our first hour of our first show with an alumni of the
Todd Grisham : ...and welcome to the first show of Pinnacle Combat : Apex Road. I am your co-commentator Todd Grisham alongside this lovely lady, former champion, Amy Dumas.
Amy Dumas : Thanks Todd, now we have this dude right here that goes by JTG. He's a former tag team championship but now he has a chance to rise up the ranks.
Todd Grisham : I believe you had the chance to meet him some time back.
Amy Dumas : I did, he's a great wrestler and can get the crowd off its feet.
JTG slides into the ring after getting microphone off camera. As his entrance music fades away, he looks at the crowd with a more serious attitude.
JTG : Yeah, yeah it's ya boy. JTG aka the former tag team champions aka the better half of the tag team I won half of the championships with and aka the man who has a brighter future.
The crowd gives little reaction but heat is noticeable at the shot towards former tag partner, Shad Gaspard.
JTG : You see, in the last promotion I was in, I didn't like how my future was being turned to. When I was called by the legendary Tazz, I could almost see the rest of my career skyrocketing. Not only will I carry this company solo but I will be the inaugural world champion, and ain't no body gonna keep that from me because now that I can control my own damn career, and after getting Tazz's permission, I issue an open challenge to any of the other 39 wrestlers back there.
He stands there and waits as he takes off his glasses. A Caribbean-like theme song plays that the crowd goes nuts for. A 5'10 male walks out of the curtain.
Grisham : For those of you who do not know this guy, he's former champion, Carlito.
Dumas : I think his Afro has gotten bigger!
Carlito runs down the ramp while a referee is with him and they slide into the ring, the referee doesn't waste any time and rings the bell.
JTG vs Carlito
This match is now underway as JTG rushes at Carlito and kicks him dead in the gut and as Carlito stumbles into the corner, JTG doesn't hesitate to unload a brutal series of punches and gut kicks to the cornered Caribbean. The referee gets in the middle and splits it up as JTG screams at the ref, telling him he can do what he wants. Carlito then spears JTG to the canvas and unloads a series of punches to the grounded JTG. As he gets off him, Carlito picks up the stalled JTG and whips him towards the ropes. Running back, JTG ducks a running clothesline and keeps running then flattens Carlito with a running body block which leaves them both on the ground for a second before JTG gets up and goes to the corner. JTG is at the top of the corner and he waits for Carlito to get up. Carlito gets to a vertical base facing away from JTG and JTG then dives off for a far missile dropkick, connecting to his lower back causing Carlito to fling towards the ropes like a rag doll. JTG then stumbles back to his feet seeing Carlito leaning on the ropes, arms wrapped around the top rope, vulnerable for attack. JTG then goes for a spear but Carlito hits a nasty flapjack and JTG lands on the ropes on his neck. Oxygen being cut off for a split second and his atoms apple almost being pushed deeper into the depth of his throat, JTG grabs his throat and walks backwards until he is at the turnbuckle farthest from Carlito who is on one knee trying to recover. The referee checks on JTG and Carlito then tries to speed up the pace of the match he rushes towards JTG as the referee moves away. Carlito then hops to the second rope and hits two punches to the temple of JTG and connects with a monkey flip which sends JTG into the center of the canvas. Carlito then goes to the ring apron and gets into position, almost adjacent to JTG and hops onto the topmost rope and lands a picture-perfect springboard senton. He pins JTG. The ref counts “1...2...” No! JTG gets an elbow up.
Carlito then looks at the referee and holds up three fingers, but with the crowd's motivation Carlito picks up and gets a disrespectful open hand slap following an eye gouge, completely legal due to the referee's obstructed vision. JTG then kicks Carlito, targeting the abdomen, then runs to the ropes. The crowd is on their feet as he hits his signature running leapfrog transitioned into a leg drop bulldog which creates pop with the fans. Carlito then hits the ground with a huge thud and holds his head, obviously having a sharp pain in his head. JTG then looks at the crowd and shouts some abuse to the front row, giving Carlito ample time to get up and he sneaks behind JTG and goes for a surprise backstabber but JTG holds on for dear life on the ropes and Carlito falls to the ground neck-first. Carlito tries to get up to his feet, but its too late as JTG lands a successful (Da) Shout Out then pins her successfully.
Winner By Pinfall : JTG
JTG doesn't celebrate, rather he slides out of the ring and grabs a microphone then slides back in and leans over the grounded Carlito beside he referee.
JTG : Should've stayed in the back with the rest of the losers. JTG is going to the top and ain't nothing y'all gonna do. Chy'eah!
JTG drops the microphone on the chest of Carlito and exits the ring, as the camera follows JTG until he reaches up the ramp. The announcer's table, located to the left of the bottom ramp. The camera than focuses on Todd and Amy.
Amy : Wow, JTG is really making a statement. He wants to the the inaugural world champion.
Todd : If he can string victories like that then he will most likely be the first world champion. I just got word that three important events will be happening, five championships will be presented, our two divisions will be showcased and there will be a tag team between two big prospects.
Amy : But for now, I'm told that we will be going backstage with our rookie interviewer, Susan Brooke.
The camera cuts backstage to an African-American female, standing upright in a slim, grey dress and black high heels.
Brooke : Hello Pinnacle Combat, this is your head interviewer Ms. Brooke here with former champion, Jack Swagger!
Swagger puts his hand around her shoulder.
Swagger : Hey there, "doll", but um, this isn't just your former champion Jack Swagger. This is your all-American, former world champion, former
Jack Swagger laughs with an undeserved aura of over-confidence as Susan scoots away.
Brooke : Hold your horses sir. Now, you say you are going to be the inaugural champion ("Yeah" can be heard from Swagger) but what makes you better than JTG or Carlito?
Swagger : [laughs] JTG and Carlito don't have nothing over this all-American. First of all, Carlito lost to a loser like JTG. Second of all, JTG thinks he should have pride over beating someone like Carlito? BS
Brooke : Ok, then why didn't you answer the open challenge by the winner of the match JTG?
Swagger : Listen Brooke, if I went out there and won, it wouldn't help me anymore than this interview is.
Brooke : Oh, so you are saying that JTG is still not above you after he won?
Swagger : That is exactly what I am saying.
Brooke : Well thank you for your time, I hope to see you in a match.
Jack Swagger blows a kiss and leaves, Brooke obviously rejecting his vibes as the camera fades to Dumas and Grisham while a Japanese male wearing wrestling attire is seen walking out of the crowd then jumping over the barricade and running up the steel steps.
Amy Dumas : Well, we are about to experience our second match. The guy in the ring currently is KENTA, a tough wrestler.
Another wrestler is coming through the curtain, running down the ramp and sliding into the ring. Hoping onto the second turnbuckle, London poses as KENTA warms up for the match.
KENTA vs Paul London
KENTA goes for a slow-paced strategic method and locks up with Paul London. Slapping on an arm bar, he lands a couple of stiff middle kicks, to the abdomen of London. London screams louder after every kick and breaks out of the hold but it is futile as KENTA then hits a drop toe hold and wastes no time with a single-legged Boston crab. London wrenches and screams in pain but KENTA isn't giving mercy on his debut match for PC: Apex Road! London refuses to give and begins to crawl towards the ropes. London then manages to turn KENTA around and kicks KENTA off of him. KENTA stumbles back but then comes back to grab his leg and drive his knee into it. London then curls up and grabs his leg, grimacing in pain. KENTA then goes to pin London. The referee counts. 1...2! Kick out! KENTA then locks in a STF. London tries to reach the ropes but its inches away and London looks like he can't take it anymore. London begins his long crawl towards the ropes, the only way to break out of this hold. KENTA wrenches the hold even tighter, trying to break his neck. London screams his head off, as his previously pale head, would soon turn red as he inches his way towards the ropes. Eventually, London finally gets a hand on the ropes. The referee wastes no time and breaks KENTA's deadly hold. KENTA gets up and goes to the second rope. As London gets up, he goes even higher and connects with a missile dropkick. London grabs his chest and flies backward. KENTA then shouts in Japanese for him to get up. KENTA waits all of 5 seconds before picking him up and sending him across the canvas with a brutal double underhook suplex. KENTA then gets back up and puts London in seating position and starts kicking the wind out of him, connecting a seated kick then a seated back kick, then a seated kick, then a seated back kick, and on and on until he screams in the air then goes to the opposite corner and stalks the grounded Paul London. Paul London then gets lifted onto KENTA's shoulders. The “strictly business”-like serious face of KENTA turns into a ego-like smirk as he lifts him over his head and raises his knee performing a Go 2 Sleep. Paul London is still surprisingly standing and extremely groggy. He lands multiple slaps followed by a spinning chop followed by a roundhouse kick to the side of the head and finished with the Busaiku Knee Kick. London goes flying back as he is busted open. KENTA then locks in an Omplata Crossface. Paul London then tries to escape like he did on the last two holds but he is dead center in the ring and is less likely to escape so he tries to break free but all have their limits and consequently London screams and taps out as the blood drips onto KENTA's hands. The referee rings the bell.
Winner By Submission : KENTA
KENTA doesn't look like he's giving any mercy even after the bell rings. KENTA then uses his menace to “persuade” the referee to exit the ring. Out of nowhere, another Asian male runs down the ramp and approaches KENTA, they have a staredown before another Asian male runs down the ramp and each of those three pick up the bloodied London. The two males hold him still as KENTA hits a single-leg high knee. London goes down like a rag doll as they pick him up a second time. One of the Japanese males hits a nasty roundhouse kick. Paul London goes back down lifeless. The other Asian guy picks up Paul London and hits a wrist-clutch Olympic slam (Go To Heaven). London just gets manhandled for a third time and finally enough referees and several officials get in the ring and pulls Paul London out of the ring. The three guys stand in the middle of the ring and shout.
KENTA : KENTA!
??? : Tatsu!
??? : Goto!
KENTA, Goto and Tatsu : No remorse! No empathy! No mercy!
They each leave in unison hoping over the crowd barrier and out of the arena.
Amy : Wow, Yoshi Tatsu, KENTA and Goto are their names and they seemed to have formed a group. Remember folks no one in this arena other than backstage and the general manager. We don't even know!
Todd : One of our divisions will be showcased. It's called the “Television” division.
Todd : This 18 year old's name is Joey LeBell. He was trained in a professional wrestling camp just outside of Tampa.
LeBell : My name is Joey LeBell.
The crowd pays little attention as he smirks.
LeBell : Ladies...ladies...calm down.
He poses a bit as he gets no attention from the female fanbase as he laughs to himself as if any woman in this arena was screaming for his attention. He then throws his snapback into the crowd but they throw it back. The crowd gets a medium buzz and LeBell smiles.
LeBell : Sorry ladies, I would sign it but I don't have a pen. You understand, don't ya ladies? But as I was going to say, my name is Joey LeBell and I'm apart of the television division because I am a face for television. I can [sings moderately] sing. I can dance.
He puts the mic down and dances for the crowd. The crowd only gives a negative reaction. Joey then picks the microphone back up.
LeBell : I can do it all and when I beat the guy in the back, trust me, this 18 year old will be put next to wrestling greats!
“I Am Super. I Am Crazy. I am Super Crazy!”
Super Crazy comes out with the Mexican flag on a lawn mower. Tazz doesn't follow too far from him.
Grisham : For those who do not know, this is Super Crazy. He is a former champion and he used to be working for the same promotion I was.
After setting the flag standing upright on a specially made stand, Super Crazy then slides into the ring and gets up with one hop. Tazz walks up the steel steps, with a microphone and enters the ring. Super Crazy locks eye with his future opponent.
Tazz : Now here is how a television division works, I pick someone out of the crowd and I give them a card, then they get to pick your match and also when it is a title match, this entire arena gets to decide your fate but since its not, Joey since you are the challenger pick a random letter and a random single-digit number.
LeBell : T9.
Tazz : Do I have a T9 in the building?
After a suspenseful wait, a larger than average, hispanic, dark brown-haired male comes to the front row and Tazz hands him a card.
Tazz : You sir, will get to pick between those three.
Male : They all look so good.
Tazz : Well just tell me the letter and I will tell those two over there.
Male : [cutting off Tazz a bit] Bro, I'm going with C, bro!
Tazz : Alright, thank you for your time.
Tazz then slides into the ring with the card in his hand.
Tazz : That gentleman over there decided to pick choice C. Which is...[drum role sound effect played] a...
Tables, Ladders and Chairs Last Man Standing match!
The crowd pops.
Tazz : Rules are pretty simple, use tables, ladders and chairs to knock ya' opponent out cold for 10 seconds. Good luck there rookie.
Although with moderate force, he pats LeBell on the back and LeBell either oversells or flings himself forward a couple steps or six.
Joey LeBell vs. Super Crazy
Last Man Standing TLC Match
[justify]As soon as the bell rings, TWACK! You can hear the sound of cracking nuts as LeBell hits a field goal low blow to Super Crazy then he rolls out the ring. Joey grabs a ladder and places it in the ring. He then observes his surroundings as Super Crazy rolls around in uttermost agony after having his pair almost shattered. Joey LeBell grabs a table and manages to get it above the second rope and then he picks up two chairs. As Crazy makes it towards the apron, the side of his face gets a faceful of chair as LeBell doesn't hesitate to swing the metal against his ear and skull. Super Crazy is then stunned as he lies there, head hanging off a ring apron. LeBell then strategically places a chair a good distance away from Crazy. LeBell then takes a few steps back and then has a head start before running up the steel chair and hitting a dropkick to Super Crazy's head as it was hanging off the apron. Super Crazy then goes skidding across the ring apron and then on the floor. Not even the die-hard extreme fans could honestly say they condone this! LeBell then slides Crazy back into the ring and then LeBell goes to the second rope and hits a decent second-rope fist drop. He then shouts disrespectfully at the referee to count. 1.
Super Crazy then uses the ropes to get up and shouts “Viva La Mexico” Joey runs for a clothesline but Crazy trips LeBell and he goes for a trip over the top rope and onto the floor. Super Crazy bangs his chest three times still shouting “Viva La Mexico” then begins a sprint which results in a unsuccessful corkscrew plancha. The crowd (especially the front row that experienced the dodge) shout “Oooh!” as Joey starts cracking up histerically as he shouts “I'm Joey LeBell! Too smart for that bull!” The crowd then begins to give a lot more pop for the kid. Joey then picks up Crazy who still has a spark of fighting spirit inside him to headbutt him to the floor then slide into the ring. As Super Crazy sets up a table into the corner, he stops to praise the crowd for believing in him. “Super Crazy” chants start to emerge from the back of the arena and migrate to the opposite side of the arena. Joey LeBell then gets up and slides into the ring furiously and goes for a spear only for Crazy to move out of the way and LeBell to go crashing through the wooden table. Crazy then leans on the ropes and looks at LeBell smiling that he can't taunt now. The referee counts.
9. No! LeBell manages to shake the cobwebs off and get to a veritical base. Super Crazy can't believe his eyes as LeBell gets to an attacking stance, smirking. Crazy then approaches the kid and they lock up. Crazy gets the advantage and connects with a front facelock. Crazy then hits an explosive brainbuster out of the blue! The crowd cheers loud as Super Crazy, then gets to his feet again and sets up the ladder. Super Crazy then shouts “Trifecta!” Super Crazy, goes to a turnbuckle and gets to the top rope and easily connects a moonsault. Some parts of the crowd shouts “Uno!”. Super Crazy goes to a farther turnbuckle and hits another picture-perfect moonsault as if it was nothing. Some parts of the crowd catch on and a noticeably louder “Dos!” catches on. Super Crazy then sets up a ladder and shouts “Tres!” Super Crazy goes to the top of the ladder and stands on top of it, facing away from LeBell. Crazy, with a “do or die” look in his eyes, jumps off the ladder, risking life and limb with a moonsault but LeBell rolls out of the ring and Crazy hits the canvas hard. The referee and the rest of the crowd can't believe their eyes. The black and white striped official has no choice but to count. 1!
10! The referee rings the bell then checks on Super Crazy.[justify]
Winner By Ten Count : Joey LeBell
He then picks up his hat and stumbles into the back, smirking at the crowd.
Dumas : This guy is going to make an impact whether the crowd likes it or not but nonetheless, good work on the television division.
Grisham : I know this guy is totally carrying a death wish on his back, acting like he is the reason this show is amazing.
Dumas : He's a bright prospect who just feels confident.
Grisham : Confident? The man is an egomaniac!
Dumas : Well with that being said, there is still more to be coming your way as Jack Swagger will be competing, the Motor City Machine Guns will be competing, there is still one division that will be showcased and the official presentation of the five championships will be all tonight on this two hour pilot episode of Pinnacle Combat : Apex Road!
As the ring gets cleared for its next match, the camera cuts backstage to Tazz seeing Super Crazy being stretchered a local ambulance. Behind him is a younger man, who doesn't seem too happy.
Tazz : Yes, Dustin Hart, chairman of PC?
Dustin : I have a serious problem. This company isn't running on billions of dollars, and there goes another wrestler being put into the hospital. Are you kidding me?
Tazz stays silent.
Dustin : When I appointed you as general manager, I did it because I thought you would run this company efficiently. I just got off the phone with London's agent and he wants 3,000 in cash or they're walking.
Dustin paces back and forth angrily before cutting off what was going to be Tazz's turn to talk.
Dustin : Are you
Tazz : Minor concussion.
Dustin : Great. A last man standing tables, ladders and chairs match. That's just great you know. Awesome because now, I have to be up your *ss because you can't run your department? Listen Tazz, all I'm saying is this is strictly business. If anyone else gets injured, I'm taking it out of your salary.
Tazz : What the hell?! It's not in the contract that you can do that!
Dustin : [while walking away backwards] Sue me! Sue me then bitch!
Tazz : [holds up middle finger] Have a nice day boss.
You can hear a snicker from behind Tazz.
Tazz : What the hell you guys laughin' at?
The camera pans over to two Samoans hiding their laughs.
Tazz : That's it. Get your asses to the ring now.
The laughing duo would soon turn quiet and run towards the ring. The camera then pans away to a view of the top of the ramp. The duo would walk down the ramp and slide into the ring. They stand there confused and eventually a gothic-like bulky male walks down the ramp along with a vamparic male and two black muscular males.
Tazz : Jimmy and Jey Uso. Meet Gangrel, Kevin Thorn, Titus O'Neil and David Otunga.
These guys walk down the ring with Tazz in the center, each of these wrestler's then stand on a side of the squared-circle. Tazz then walks up the steel steps and enters the ring and the 4 men follow behind him.
Tazz : Fellas. You thought my boss reprimanding me was funny? Guess what? By policy, if one person from the television division is fighting, there must be a crowd picking the stipulation based off this card. [while taking out a pink card similar to the one used to determine the match for the television division then writes on it] Pick a letter and a single-digit number.
They look at each other and discuss things to quiet to be picked up by the microphone.
Jey Uso : Y.
Jimmy Uso : 0
Tazz : As you wish, who has Y0?!
Tazz gives the card to Otunga as he exits the ring. Eventually, they find a 30 year old looking red-headed pale woman with perky breasts and a tight tank top and a butterfly/tribal tattoo on her right sleeve with the identification “Y0”. After she examines the card, she has a decision.
Female : Well these are some [she coughs] tough choices but I pick A.
Tazz : Well let me see my card to see what punishment I will give these two.
Otunga hands him the card then slides into the ring. The duo look confused and anxious. Tazz seems to be neutral about the one picked.
Tazz : A 4 vs 2 elimination tornado escape challenge. Rules? Simple. These four guys are going to try to throw you both out the ring, if you are out of the ring, meaning both feet hit the floor, you are eliminated and vice versa. But I think we should add a stipulation to this.
Tazz pulls out a light blue card then exits the ring.
Tazz : M'am if you can pick A, B or C for me again that would be great.
Woman : Hmm. A again! [while laughing]
Tazz : Thank you for your time and thank you for picking High-Incident, which means tables will be placed all around the ring. Get thrown out? Get put through a table. Ring the bell and place the tables.
The Usos (Jimmy and Jey Uso) vs. Gangrel, Kevin Thorn, David Otunga and Titus O'Neil
Handicap 2 v 4 High-Incident Elimination Escape Challenge
The Usos waste no time and try to focus on taking out one at the same time. Jimmy superkicks Gangrel who goes down. Jey superkicks Titus who falls down. They grab wrists and clotheslines Otunga and Thorn. They then try to keep them all down with stomps and kicks but Otunga hits a double spear. Jimmy holds his sides as Jey gets picked up by Kevin Thorn who lands an impressive pumphandle slam. Jimmy gets up and ducks a running boot from Otunga who boots the turnbuckle and nearly twists an ankle at the speed he was running. Kevin Thorn then picks up Jey and tries to throw him over the top rope but Jey hits a spinning forearm smash and Gangrel comes to the rescue but Jey rolls out of the way and clotheslines Thorn over the top rope and both land on a table. Jey smirks a little as the crowd cheers, seeing hope now that it is a fair match. Jimmy locks up with Titus but O'Neil gets the advantage and nearly splits the Uso in half with a backbreaker. Jey has his hands full with Otunga who whips him into the corner and hits a few gut punches, then a kick to the knee of Jey. Titus shouts some abuse at the crowd the places the Uso on the top rope, Titus goes to the second-rope and the Uso takes a few blows to the sides. While Titus may be setting up for a superplex, Jey tries to fight back by headbutting Otunga and slamming him furiously into the corner then unloads with lightning fast jabs to the head. Jey then takes a few steps back and connects a corner splash. Titus O'Neil gets a nasty elbow to the head and responds with an eye rake and an uppercut before locking in a superplex but Jimmy is fighting out of it and pushes O'Neil to the canvas. Feeling a sense of adrenaline, Jimmy rams his shoulder into the incoming Otunga and tries to bring him over the ropes.
Titus gets up and Jey turns him around and superkicks him in the gut then connects with an awesome uppercut. Jey tries to help Jimmy but during the midst of the ordeal Gangrel grabs Jimmy's arm and pulls on it until he falls to the floor but accidentally gets Otunga in the process. They start to nail the Usos until the Motor City Machine Guns run down the ramp and jump Gangrel and Thorn. As the 3 v 3 goes underway, Jey and Titus stare each other down. Titus and Jey lock up, Titus whips him to the ropes and connects a back body drop. O'Neil then looks at the 6 man brawl and takes his mind off of Jey. Chris Sabin hits a nasty super kick to Thorn and then distracts O'Neil by intimidating him. After turning his attention back to Jey who eventually gets to a vertical base, he superkicks Titus off of top ropes and out of the ring too.
Winner By Ring Out : Jimmy and Jey Usos (The Usos)
The Usos and the Motor City Machine Guns fight Gangrel, Titus, David and Thorn until Dustin comes out.
Dustin : Woah, woah, guys, guys, guys! I have a solution that you and I would walk away happy with. Alex and Chris Sabin will face Otunga and Titus next week along with the Usos facing Gangrel and Kevin Thorn.
The crowd buzzes at that idea.
Dustin : Everyone's happy now? Even though I have to do Tazz's job, it is fine. See you six next week.
The camera pans away to see the commentators.
Dumas : Up next, the other division in action!
Grisham : And after that we still have the official championship showcase, Swagger and MCMG in competition and the other division as we enter our second hour of PC Apex Road!
As the ring gets cleaned up, you can see the camera fading to two small men talking to Ms. Brooke.
Brooke : Hello PC watches, I hope you are having a great time experiencing the pilot two hour special and its time to speed things up by inviting these two to interview. These exciting prospects are Pac and Ricochet.
Pac and Ricochet high-five before speaking.
Pac : Jolly good the both of us are, but your timing is off.
Brooke : I'm sorry what?
Ricochet : Chick at 5:00.
Ricochet and Pac look at a female.
Brooke : [mumbles and walks away] Men.
Ricochet : Pac, you can have this one.
Pac : Ok, how do I look?
Ricochet : Like a douchebag but instead of wearing a tank top and shorts, you are shirtless and in wrestling gear.
Pac and Ricochet laugh as Pac goes up to the bombshell.
Pac : Well, look at you all pretty this fine Thorsda!
??? : This fine what?
Pac : This is thorsda reet?
??? : What? Do you mean to say thursday?
Pac : Aye, and I would like to take you on a date.
??? : [laughs] Who are you?
Pac : Name's Pac.
??? : Well “Pac” I'm Melina and I'm not dating nobodies. Cya.
As Melina walks away, Pac walks back over to Ricochet and they start laughing.
Ricochet : Thorsda? That's worse than Swagga's attempt.
As they laugh and walk away they bump into two more divas. One's book fell down and Pac picks it up.
Pac : Sorry ladies, who are you?
??? : I'm Zexuis and this is Pandora.
Pandora squeals hides shyly directly behind Zexuis who sighs.
Zexuis : No time to talk, I got a match up next.
Ricochet : Good luck out there.
As they walk away, the scene fades from Pac and Ricochet laughing again to Melina doing her trademark split into the ring as she gets ready for a tag team match-up.
“My Name Is Miss Goregeous”
An African, black-haired, stunningly gorgeous female appears on stage with her own paparazzi and poses for them as she struts down the ring with a microphone.
Miss Gorgeous : My name is Miss Gorgeous and they don't call me that for nothing.
She walks up the steel steps and enters the ring then poses on the ropes by putting one leg halfway on it and the other on the lower ropes as support while she fixes her hair and smiles for the camera. You can hear faint sounds of whistling.
Miss Gorgeous : Now, bring out the peasants.
“Faint By Linkin Park”
Grisham : Miss Gorgeous used to work for AWA, an African wrestling promotion, Pandora and Zexuis are rookie divas used to fight in a promotion called “ChickFight”.
Two young females who appear to be Pandora and Zexuis appear on stage. Pandora stands shyly and awkwardly as Zexuis grabs her hand and they walk down the ramp. Zexuis places her glasses on the announcer's desk and slides into the ring with Melina and Miss Gorgeous. The referee rings the bell and this match is underway.
Zexuis and Pandora vs Melina and Miss Gorgeous
[justify]Zexuis and Miss Gorgeous start out first. Zexuis and Miss Gorgeous lock up until Miss Gorgeous gets a wrist lock which quickly transforms into a fireman's carry takedown. Gorgeous then runs to the ropes then executes an average senton. She picks up Zexuis and Irish whips her to the corner. Miss Gorgeous goes for a corner spear but Zexuis jumps to the top rope. While Gorgeous is bent over, Zexuis dives over her and connects a Sunset Flip for a quick pin. 1...2...No! Gorgeous kicks out and exits the ring. Zexuis crawls over to Pandora and tags her in. Pandora takes a few steps back and looks at the crowd. As Miss Gorgeous recovers on the crowd barrier, she looks at Pandora who is way more scared of Miss Gorgeous than Gorgeous is of her. She slides into the ring and stares at Pandora. Pandora stares up at her, knees shaking and overreacting to her debut match. Gorgeous raises her hand and backhands Pandora. Pandora stumbles back as Miss Gorgeous tags in Melina. Melina goes for a devastating Lou Thesz Press. She unloads punches on Pandora. Melina then gets up and picks her up too. The Paparazzi Princess whips Pandora in the corner and smirks. She poses for the crowd as they give heat. She then sets Pandora up for a rope-hung Boston crab but Pandora squirms out and kicks Melina's knee. As she goes down to hold her knee, Pandora sends Melina down to the canvas with a bulldog towards Zexuis. As Melina looks up in the air, Pandora tags Zexuis and she picks up Melina who is stunned and hits a cutter then rushes over to Miss Gorgeous and spears her off the mat. Zexuis goes to the top rope and performs a somersault leg drop. Zexuis pins Melina. 1...2...3![justify]
Winner By Pinfall : Zexuis and Pandora
Todd Grisham : Great win for Zexuis and Pandora but it's going to get better because they will be meeting alumni Natalya.
As soon as they win, they are confronted by Natalya. Seeing another WWE alumni and former champion, they see her as a privilege to see her and outstretch their hands. Natalya then kicks Zexuis and Pandora in the gut then sends Zexuis flying over the ropes and onto the floor. Pandora holds her gut and walks backwards, not wanting to deal with Natalya until a dark-skinned female slides into the ring and superkicks Natalya. As she is stunned, the bombshell tells Pandora to attack. Pandora lands another cutter! Zexuis is trading fists with Melina and Miss Gorgeous until Pandora goes for a plancha on Melina and the dark-skinned female dives through the ropes and collides with Miss Gorgeous. As the three get up, they absorb pop until it fades to another package.
??? : John, I'm better looking.
??? : Cole, your wrong, I'm better looking.
Cole : John Morrision, you aren't better looking than me. I'm Adam Cole. I'm better looking, more athletic and the crowd loves me. Not you.
John Morrsion : That's where you are wrong. You aren't as athletic as me. Actually, wait.
Morrision gets up and walks over to another bombshell then they come back.
John Morrison : Britani Knight right?
The camera turns towards her.
Knight : Yeah?
Adam : Who's better looking? Me or gramps over here?
John : Gramps? I'm 33.
Adam : Yeah, ten years older than me.
Morrison : Who's better looking to you?
Britani : Ummm, Morrison?
Britani walks away, confused and not wanting to deal with the bickering between the two. As soon as Morrison smirks and looks back at Adam, he gets a super kick to the face and Morrison flies back on the bench like a ragdoll.
Cole : Congratulations.
Cole laughs and walks away as Tazz is in the middle of the ring with 10 guys including the Motor City Machine Guns. Not as happy as before, he has a microphone in his hand and begins to speak.
Tazz : I hope you all are enjoying the show.
The crowd cheers loudly.
Tazz : This next match will be a 10-Man battle royal and will determine the number one contender for the North American championship. This match will include Alex Shelley
Dragon Rojo Jr.
and BLK Jeez!
Pop as the referee rings the bell.
Alex Shelley vs BLK Jeez vs Brad Maddox vs Chris Sabin vs Dragon Rojo Jr vs Jinder Mahal vs Jushin Liger vs Kenny King vs Rhett Titus vs Sin Cara

Number One Contendership
Anarchy is unleashed. Shelley and Sabin fight off Rhett Titus and Kenny King, Jinder Mahal fights off Dragon Rojo Jr, Jushin Liger fights off Brad Maddox and Sin Cara fights off BLK Jeez. Brad Maddox kicks Liger on the thigh and Irish whips him into the corner. Sabin counters a punch by grabbing his wrist and connecting with an arm drag. Alex helps Sabin as they both send Kenny flying over the apron but he grabs onto the ropes for dear life. Sin Cara his punching BLK Jeez repeatedly then connects with a triple kick combo. Jinder Mahal connects a reverse STO to Dragon Rojo Jr. The camera cuts to Brad Maddox and Liger. Jushin executes a rana over the top rope to Maddox while he holds on and hangs onto the turnbuckle. Brad hits the ground with a thud.
Brad Maddox Eliminated #1
Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin are trading fists with Kenny King and Rhett Titus. Dragon Rojo Jr clotheslines Sabin by behind. Jinder Mahal uppercuts BLK Jeez while Jushin Liger is resting in the corner. Sin Cara sees him and lands one of the most stiff turnbuckle dropkick. Rhett Titus throws Shelley over the top rope and struggles to throw him to the ground. Sin Cara picks up Liger and throws him back into the corner for a ten punch combo. Jinder connects a few more blows to the head and then throws BLK over the top rope but he holds onto the top rope as Jinder tries to push him off. Dragon Rojo Jr gets a suprize enzuigiri from Sabin. As Shelley is helped by his partner, Kenny King tries to throw Sabin out of the ring with a clothesline but King ducks and hits Jinder Mahal and BLK Jeez flies out of the ring and at the same time Sin Cara dropkicks Jushin Liger, who was on the ring apron to the ring floor.
BLK Jeez Eliminated #2
Jushin Liger Eliminated #3
Jinder turns around at Sabin and pushes him to the floor and promptly after gets superkicked in the head. Dragon Rojo Jr. recovers from the huge enzuigiri and goes after Cara along with Mahal but Cara ducks and Rojo Jr. goes over the ropes with no say but takes Mahal with him as he grabs his wrist with Sin Cara's aid.
Dragon Rojo Jr. Eliminated #4
Jinder Mahal Eliminated #5
Sin Cara gets up and looks over at the Motor City Machine Guns. They look over at Kenny King and Rhett Titus who looks at Sin Cara. The final five. The MCMG directly goes for Rhett Titus who was off-guard.
Rhett Titus Eliminated #6
Alex goes after Sin Cara, Sabin goes after Kenny who he already has heat with. Shelley gut punches Cara and tries to keep him grounded with punches and holds. Kenny and Sabin trade punches. Although the MCMG are still in this together, only one would win. Sin Cara gets thrown into the corner Chris Sabin and Kenny King are fighting in and bumps into Kenny making him fall. Sabin takes a few steps back and hits a running arched boot at Cara while Shelley hits Cara with an enzuigiri. While Cara slumps down in the corner, Kenny tries to sneak up and throw Shelley out but Sabin turns around and sees and consequently Sabin blocks Kenny with a super kick. While stunned Sabin throws Kenny out and after that Shelley throws Sabin out! Sabin looks shocked at Shelley who is telling him it was either “me or you”. In the commotion, Sin Cara gets up and lifts Shelley off the ground and over the ropes and he hits the floor.
Kenny King Eliminated #7
Chris Sabin Eliminated #8
Alex Shelley Eliminated #9
Winner By Elimination : Sin Cara
Amy Dumas : Welcome to Apex Road Sin Cara where anything can happen.
Todd Grisham : New number one contender. I wonder who he will face at All Out Assault.
Amy Dumas : Don't blink because the next match will be going on and one of the opponents will be Swagger. Our Main Event!
Todd Grisham : Plus the showcase of all five championships.
Amy Dumas : All on the 2 hour pilot show of Apex Road!
Brooke : Hello! Hello! Hello Pinnacle Combat. I'm here with the three-man wrecking machine, Yoshi Tatsu, Goto and KENTA.
They each nod at her.
Brooke : Is there any spokesmen or-
KENTA : I.
Brooke : ...okay...well...Would you like to shed some light on the barbarous 3 on 1 ambush on London?
KENTA : Simple. Nothing against London. He was the example. If it was Swagger, Swagger would be in the hospital. If it was Carlito, Carlito would be bloodied in the hospital. If it was Tazz himself, he'd be in London's shoes but they weren't. It was London who was the example and he knew what he signed up for. This isn't your baby wrestling. This is the era of Shinjiketo! This is the end of your interview time with us.
Tatsu : Have a decent day.
As they nod and leave, the scene fades to Tazz in the ring with five columns each hidden with a black blanket.
Tazz : Today, you've seen 39 of our 40 wrestlers and this is for a reason. The last wrestler called me as soon as I opened this business. He isn't as fast as Sin Cara, or as powerful as David Otunga, or as technically-gifted as KENTA but the man takes risks. The man has heart. The man is-
“Check 1, 2!”
Swagger is seen bursting through the curtain cutting the General Manager off. Knowing he isn't the 40th superstar. Jack marches down the ramp then slides into the ring. As he does push-ups, Tazz begins the speak.
Tazz : You done?
He gets up and is handed a microphone.
Swagger : I want a Pinnacle Championship match.
Tazz : And I want a more lenient boss. So what?
Swagger : In my contract, I was guaranteed a title shot.
Tazz : So? I have your ass for 5 years.
The crowd pops sensing the heat.
Tazz : As I was saying, now that I was interrupted, change of plans. You see, under these five blankets hold physical evidence that out of the other 39 superstars, you are considered the best in your category.
He walks a while before reaching the first pillar.
Tazz : Ladies, if you think your good, this will make you great.
He takes off the first blanket and they see the Bombshell Championship: A silver and pink plate with two purple abstract diva outlines and a huge “BOMBSHELL” letters in gold with “champion of the world” letters in gold but smaller and under the “Bombshell” lettering alongside two smaller plates. Tazz then walks to the next column.
Tazz : David Otunga, Joey LeBell, Super Crazy, Titus O'Neal, Adam Cole, John Morrision and Brodus Clay. You seven signed up for the Television division but only one of you will be putting this championship around your shoulder or waist.
He takes off the blanket to reveal the Television Championship: A blue belt with a black gold plate of abstract designs with gold lettering, “Television” and “Champion” under it in smaller letters. The side plates have television graphics on top in gold plating. Tazz walks towards the largest column in the middle.
Tazz : Of all the tag teams, only one will need this to prove that they are the best.
He takes off the blanket and reveals two identical Tag Team Championships: A white plate with a gold plating, under the plating is a graphic of the world and gold lettering over the graphic which reads “Tag Team Championship” and there is twin side plates on either sides. Tazz walks towards the next column.
Tazz : This is up for grabs for anyone...but they have to defeat Sin Cara!
Tazz then reveals the North American title: A black belt with silver plating with a gold border and in the middle is a spinning American flag design. In front of the design says “North American” and in smaller letters “champion of the world”, all in gold lettering with a side plate on either side. Tazz then walks to the final column.
Swagger : Those championships are good. I know I will be getting them all except the Diva's of course.
Tazz : This championship lives up to its name. It is the most prestigious. It is the highest in honor. If you have this belt, you live up to its name. Ladies and gentleman, give it up for the Pinnacle Championship!
As the blanket glides over the column, a slick-black belt with silver and gold plating, the words “PC” on top, “Pinnacle” in the middle, overlapping the design to the point where its length reaches the horizontal boundaries of the main plate and “Championship” on the bottom. It sparkles with the spotlight, as the twin side plates gleam one set gold and the outside secondary plates are silver. Swagger can't believe his eyes as he has his eyes glued on the championship. The columns and championships are promptly taken out.
Tazz : You're main event match is for the number one contendership. Jack Swagger versus...
A familiar North Carolina-native runs down the ramp with a referee as he orders the match to start before the wrestler is in the ring.
Tazz : Matt Hardy! In a No-Disqualification match!
Tazz exits the ring as the main event commences.
Main Event/Match #7
Jack Swagger vs Matt Hardy
No Disqualification Match
Number One Contendership Match
Matt Hardy spears Swagger to the ground and unloads surprise punches to the vulnerable Swagger to turns it around on Hardy and hits a few strong jabs to the head of Hardy then gets up. As Hardy scrambles himself up, he walks into a stiff haymaker followed by a belly to belly suplex. Knowing Hardy can take punishment, Matt gets up again, slower but successfully, leaning in the corner. Swagger connects a corner clothesline which damages Hardy further. Jack then Irish whips Matt Hardy into the other corner and goes for a splash but Hardy lands a massive dropkick. Swagger goes to the ground as Hardy tries to take it to the skies by going to the second rope. He poses for the crowd while screaming through the adrenaline and lands an awe-inspiring leg drop. Matt then leaves the ring and grabs a microphone and then slides into the ring, Swagger grabs Hardy's leg only to get a face-full of microphone which almost busts open Swagger. Hardy then rolls Swagger on his back and sits on him and jabs the back of his neck with the microphone then throws the microphone away. Taking out his pure insanely aggressive and bold energy, he picks up Swagger and throws him onto the apron. Hardy then slides out of the ring and takes apart the ring steps then places them side by side Swagger. Matt then gets on the apron and Swagger decides to show life and lands some weak jabs to the face. Hardy then knees Swagger in the gut then elbow Swagger in the face. The crowd is on their feet as Hardy kicks Swagger in the gut and locks in a facelock then flies off the apron with a Twist Of Fate onto the steel steps!
Both of these guys are out of it and a bloodied mess. The crowd is on their feet with a massive pop as they chant Hardy. The referees, the commentators, and even Tazz did not expect this and the ref checks both of these guys. 1! Hardy shows signs of live even if the blow to the back of the head could have not only ended his career but his life. 2! The referee wants to see someone on their feet. 3! Swagger shows life as Hardy uses the ring apron to pull himself up. 4! Hardy is leaning on the apron as Jack Swagger spits out blood and begins to get up.
5! You can hear him saying “Future Champion”. 6! Matt Hardy is on one knee and across the steel steps is Swagger just getting to one knee. 7! They stare at each other, knowing that this could be the beginning of the match of the evening. 8! Hardy tries to get to a full vertical base and Swagger uses the steps to pull himself up. 9!
Hardy is trying to get up and Swagger is barely getting to a full upright position! Te-no! The referee does not call for the bell as Hardy is on his feet and Swagger is on his feet. Swagger flips the steel steps onto Hardy but Matt brushes it off and tackles Swagger into the ring post. Hardy hits gut punches, leaving his back exposed to Swagger's punches. Jack then gets out of his cornered position by finally prying the wildly swinging Matt Hardy off of him. He then sends the skull of Hardy into the ringpost. Hardy goes to the ground like a ragdoll as Swagger screams at the commentators to move. Swagger wants to win this by beating Hardy within an inch of his life and not only did the crowd know it but Tazz knew it. Amy and Todd move out the way as the crimson-masked Swagger clears off the announcer's table and Hardy is still on the ground. Swagger scrapes Hardy off of the ground and drags him near the announcer's table. He clutches Swagger in gutwrench powerbomb position. Hardy grabs Swagger's leg and Swagger then goes to pound the back of Hardy again but due to the announcer's table being on the left side of the bottom of the ramp the steel steps are behind Swagger and are used after Hardy trips Swagger onto the bottom of the steel steps and begins punching him. Out of nowhere, Goto, Tatsu and KENTA jump over the ramp and pry Hardy off of Swagger and they all, in unison, wear down Matt Hardy with punches and kicks. KENTA then tells Tastu and Goto to hold the bloody Hardy. KENTA then goes for a high single-knee strike to the head but Hardy moves out the way and Swagger gets nailed with the dangerous knee. The camera swings over to the ramp and Paul London and The Usos are running down the ramp. Paul London tackles KENTA down while Jey and Jimmy deal with Tatsu and Goto. Matt Hardy then throws Swagger on top of the table and looks at Swagger and gets on the table too. Paul London gets up and grabs a chair from under the ring. He then jabs KENTA in the gut while Jimmy and Jey are trading punches up the ramp with Tatsu and Goto. Hardy has Swagger where he wants him and lands a Twist Of Fate off the announcer's table! Hardy then pins Swagger. The referee counts. 1! 2! 3!
Winner By Pinfall : Matt Hardy
Tazz : Restrain them all! Restrain them all!
Enough officials get Tatsu, Goto, The Usos, London and KENTA while the medical staff stretcher Hardy and Swagger up the ramp.
Tazz : That's enough! Next week, a main event rematch between KENTA and London and these little groups you guys are forming are banned from ringside!
The crowd pops huge.
Tazz : Hardy you are number one contender. Swagger you didn't live to your word. Back of the line!
Dustin is then seen at the top of the ramp.
Dustin : Woah Tazz, the Board Of Directors do not like your decision. Now, a better idea is since all out assault is coming up, have a six-man tag team elimination and next week instead of Swagger being at the back of the line and KENTA and Paul London, lets have another number one contendership match. KENTA vs JTG vs London vs Swagger! Now who likes this?!
The crowd pops loud as the wrestlers are dragged backstage and Dustin and Tazz eye each other.
Dustin : Welcome to Pinnacle Combat!
The scene fades to black.
Re: Pinnacle Combat :The Dark Horse Of Revolution
Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
The scene eases into a video recap of last night's main event.
Matt Hardy : Last night, I wasn't in a fight. I was in a brawl.
The crowd cheers, thinking the exact same thing.
Matt Hardy : Swagger, wasn't my only competitor. I thought this was a one on one. Until three Asians come out and having their own little fight with me, ignoring Swagger overall until Paul London and the Motor City Machine Guns came to my “aid”.
The crowd gives a medium mixed reaction.
Hardy : I was doing fine. As you can see, I can take on four people unlike London, who can't take on three.
The crowd gives a bigger mixed reaction.
Hardy : Not saying I'm not grateful for the help, I'm just saying Swagger couldn't beat me in a fight. If I recall, KENTA hit Jack Swagger with a high knee. Right?
The crowd cheers loud as Swagger walks down the ramp with Tazz. They slide into the ring, Swagger behind Tazz.
Tazz : Matt Hardy, you put Jack Swagger's life on the line. He could have had a concussion in that match.
The crowd boos loud.
Swagger : As you can see Tazz, I kept my action in the ring. I did not go too far with any weapons. No wait, I didn't even use any.
The crowd gives huge heat to Swagger hiding behind Tazz.
Tazz : Twist Of Fate off the table? Twist Of Fate off the steel steps?
Matt Hardy eyes both of them, not saying a word.
Tazz : Not only did you bloody yourself but Swagger too? I regret to say this but the Twist Of Fate is banned!
The crowd cheers loud as Hardy's eyes go wide.
Matt Hardy : No, no, no. It was a no disqualification match and I did no wrong so why are you banning me for giving this crowd a good match?!
Swagger : He is the general manager and what he says go so don't question him. It's not your job.
Matt Hardy : My job is to kick people's asses and why don't I do that now?
Hardy steps into Swagger's face as Dustin appears on stage.
Dustin : Wait. Wait. Tazz, you're banning Hardy for his moves? Are you entirely ignoring the fact that KENTA, Paul London, Alex Shelley, Chris Sabin, Goto and Yoshi Tastu interfered in the match?
The crowd gives a mixed crowd as a chant “Tazz screwed Hardy” chant starts.
Tazz : I didn't screw Hardy. Dustin, sir, you must lead by example. I'll deal with everyone differently, if it was two other guys and other guys interfered then I would do the exact thing! Dustin, when are you let me walk on my own two?
Dustin : I'll let you walk on your two when you can walk on your fours. Right now, your thinking with an Iron Fist's bias. I have a better idea.
Swagger : Sir, no disrespect, but the General Manager made an opinion.
Matt : No offense but shut the hell up.
The crowd cheers loud as they eye each other and Tazz tries to seperate them.
Dustin : My idea is that you Tazz can pick anyone backstage, I'll pick my person. Can't be Hardy nor Swagger for obvious reasons and they compete in a match. Tonight. You win, Twist Of Fate is banned and I am out of your hair. I win, Twist Of Fate isn't banned. 'Tis all I want too, I'm not looking to undermine you.
The crowd gives a huge pop and heat to these two sides.
Tazz : Deal and I can make you stop looking over me!
Dustin : Deal.
Dustin walks away, then Swagger, then a staredown with Hardy and Tazz as Tazz exits the ring. Hardy then poses for the crowd as the camera swings over to the commentators, Dumas.
Todd : Welcome to Pinnacle Combat : Apex Road! I'm Todd Grisham and this is Amy Dumas!
Dumas : Last week's show was on fire! We even have three matches scheduled tonight. Our first, the Usos will fight Gangrel and Thorn.
Todd : Yes, and Gangrel and Kevin Thorn have really had a few bones to pick with Jimmy and Jey. Also we have, MCMG will face David Otunga and Titus O'Neil.
Dumas : Our main event will be a fatal-four way between these four dangerous competitors. JTG, Jack Swagger, Paul London and KENTA.
Todd : But for now we have our second rookie coming to showcase his skills his name is Chris Rayne and good lord does he have a finisher or what? Have you seen it Amy?
Amy : No I have not but I will see it tonight.
Chris Rayne is in the ring, ready to fight. The lights turn blue, and Sin Cara rushes down the ramp and slides into the ring. He makes sure Rayne is a good distance before posing for the crowd. He stretches out his hand but Rayne only puts his fists up, ready to brawl.
Chris Rayne vs Sin Cara
Rayne starts out by tackling Cara to the ground and punching him savagely until the referee separates them. Sin Cara looks at Rayne who has his eyes locked on Sin Cara. They walk near each other and lock up. Sin Cara knees his gut and Chris is on a knee. Sin Cara runs to the ropes only to get countered with a sidewalk slam! Chris Rayne then goes to the top rope all the way on the other side of the ring and goes to the top rope. He takes a good measure of the incredibly long length he's jumping and dives for a long fist drop! Chris then gets up and picks up Sin Cara who hits a few elbows and connects with a springboard back elbow. Chris Rayne falls back and Sin Cara goes for a legdrop but misses. Rayne gets up and smirks then pushes Sin Cara so rough that Cara hits the turnbuckle. Rayne goes for a splash but Cara hits a drop toe hold and Chris Rayne hits his mouth on the second turnbuckle. Rayne sits, leaning on the turnbuckle and Sin Cara hits a turnbuckle dropkick where the sun doesn't shine... Chris Rayne falls down, crumpled up. The crowd says “Ooh”. Rayne exits the ring to help himself and Cara follows him. The referee counts. 1! Sin Cara hits Rayne's head on the steel steps. 2! Rayne sits down, leaning on the steel steps as Cara picks him up and sends him back into the ring. Cara then goes to the top rope. He waits for Rayne to get up and dives off only to get hit with a spear! Rayne then stalks Cara. He waits for Cara to get up before running to the ropes. Cara ducks a running clothesline and Rayne bounces off the ropes again only to get sent across the canvas with a frankensteiner! Cara then places Rayne's head on the second ropes and steps back. After posing Cara goes for a Tiger Feint Kick (619 equivalent). Rayne flies back and exits the ring again, holding his head for hitting the canvas hard. Sin Cara then flies from the canvas to the ring floor with a corkscrew plancha. Sin Cara then slides Rayne back into the ring for a second time and stalks him, waiting for Rayne to get to a vertical base so he can connect with a tilt-a-whirl armbar. Rayne gets up and Sin Cara rushes into him only to get a haymaker followed by a left hook then finishing with a huge uppercut which leaves Sin Cara reeling. Rayne grabs Sin Cara by the throat and connects with a devastating two-handed chokeslam! He pins Cara for a 1...2...3!
Winner By Pinfall : Chris Rayne
Chris Rayne then looks at his fallen enemy and exits the ring promptly after beating his opponent aggressively.
Todd : Wow. I told you, those punches into a two-handed chokeslam, was brutal.
Dumas : I'm really surprised that the referee didn't stop the match.
Todd : I hope Sin Cara is ok.
As the commentators, look over at the battered Sin Cara who gave his all in the match. The scene fades to Joey LeBell begging Dustin to give him a television title shot.
Dustin : Look, I know your eager into getting into Pinnacle Combat but you are not ready to get into the stuff that's already happening.
LeBell : Come on Dustin, give me a title shot, number one contendership, anything!
Dustin gets frustrated almost like hearing a little kid whine in his ear and snaps.
Dustin : Okay! Shut the hell up! Follow me. [mumbles] Damn.
Dustin walks through the backstage area and finds the other rookie, Kytakauki eating noodles and sitting by himself on some equipment.
Dustin : Kytakauki-san.
Kytakauki : (translation) Yes?
Dustin : (translation) I need you to participate in a match next week.
Kytakauki : (translation) Sure, against this chump?
LeBell looks confused.
Joey LeBell : Is this my opponent or not?
Dustin and Kytakauki laugh and Dustin looks at LeBell nodding.
Kytakauki : Deal.
Dustin Hart : Next week, Joey LeBell will face Kytakauki for a spot in the number one contendership match for All Out Assault.
Hart walks away as LeBell looks at Kytakauki who resumes to eat his noodles. The scene fades away to Amy Dumas and Todd Grisham who are getting ready for their next match.
Amy Dumas : Now we have a match for next week Kytakauki will face Joey LeBell, but for now, a major grude match between the team of Gangrel and Kevin Thorn versus the team of Jimmy and Jey Uso.
Todd Grisham : Last week, Tazz was getting reprimanded for his “recklessness” and the Usos were in the wrong place at the wrong time, snickering at Tazz for getting laughed at. Then Tazz books a Handicap High-Incident Elimination Escape Challenge between the Usos and the team of Gangrel, Kevin Thorn, David Otunga and Titus O'Neil. After the Usos won in an upset as some would say, Dustin books two separate grudge matches. We will see why the Motor City Machine Guns are facing David Otunga later.
The Usos (Jimmy Uso and Jey Uso) vs Gangrel and Kevin Thorn
Tag Team Match
The match starts out with Jimmy Uso and Kevin Thorn. The Uso goes for a punch but Kevin catches it and tilts his head looking at Jimmy then connects with a throat thrust. The Uso stumbles back into the corner and tags his brother. As Jey enters the ring, he runs towards Kevin and connects with a clothesline. The towering monster goes down with a thud. Jey tries to pin Thorn but Kevin pushes Jey off before the referee counts one. Jey then stumbles into the corner as Kevin Thorn scrambles to his feet in a hurry and attempts to clothesline Jey Uso but he dropkicks Kevin Thorn. Going up to the second rope as Kevin Thorn staggers back, he attempts to ground Thorn with a flying shoulder tackle but Thorn stands there as if Jey Uso tried to tackle a brick wall. Jey goes down with a thud as Kevin runs to the ropes and bounces back. He connects the biggest splash the crowd has probably ever since the crowd gives a huge negative reaction. Jey slides out of the ring and Kevin follows not too far from him. Kevin catches up with Jey but Jimmy flies off the apron with a clothesline. This promptly makes Gangrel drop off the ring apron and walk towards the Usos. 1! As they weaken Kevin Thorn with punches, they take no notice to see that his tag team partner was coming. 2! 3! Gangrel spins around Jimmy and connects with a double arm trap suplex! 4! Jimmy flies across the concrete floor and squirms on his back. 5! Jey notices and superkicks Gangrel. He then turns to Kevin Thorn who hits a low blow, with the advantage of the referee's obstructed vision. 7! 8! The crowd boos loud but Thorn just absorbs it and slides Jey into the ring. Gangrel then hops onto the apron and intentionally distracts the referee. Kevin Thorn then looks under the ring and finds a steel chair. He slides into the ring and Jey Uso gets up and ducks a chair shot! Kevin Thorn then turns around and gets superkicked in the head with a chair! Kevin flings the chair out of his hand and it lands strategically out of the ring. Jimmy pulls Gangrel off the apron then trades punches with him. Jey then places Kevin Thorn seated in the corner and walks to the opposite corner and shouts his name. The crowd responds and he rushes towards Kevin Thorn with an insanely stiff butt bump which stuns Kevin Thorn. Jey then pins Kevin. 1! 2! Kick out at the last second!
Jey Uso then tags in Jimmy Uso and Jimmy goes to the top rope and misses a diving elbow. Kevin then goes to tag in Gangrel. He's successful! Gangrel enters the ring and hits a clothesline to Jimmy Uso. Gangrel then hits another clothesline. He then locks in the Impaler DDT but Jimmy hooks his leg. Gangrel tries to weaken Jimmy but instead Jimmy blocks the Impaler DDT and surprises the crowd with an STO. Jimmy then looks at Jey who wants him to tag him in. Kevin rushes into the ring and tries to attack Jey but Jey shoulder bumps Kevin once he's close then connects with a hotshot which makes Kevin Thorn roll out of the ring. Jimmy then tags Jey who goes to the top rope and flies in the air with a Samoan splash! He pins Gangrel! 1...2...3!
Winner by Pinfall : The Usos
The Usos celebrate and kick Gangrel and Kevin Thorn out of the ring as the scene fades to Adam Cole who is talking to Natalya.
Adam Cole : That's awesome! Good luck in your match tonight.
Natalya : Thanks. Look out.
John Morrison turns Adam Cole around and looks at him intensely. They stare each other down and Natalya leaves before Morrison decides to speak.
John Morrison : Congratulations? You think your funny?
Adam Cole : Actually, I did.
John Morrison : Want to know what I find funny? Nothing. This is business and what you did last week may have flew in those smaller companies but your running with the big dogs so instead of easily bashing your head into everything when I had the chance, I placed you into a match. Next week against me.
The crowd cheers as Morrison isn't all flash right now.
Adam : Yeah. Place yourself in a match with me, Adam Cole. Not only will I defeat you looking good, but I will repeat what I did last week. That. Was funny.
John Morrison looks at Adam Cole then walks away. Cole turns around and bumps into Goto of the fatal three-man stable : Shinjiketo. Goto then turns around and pushes Cole into a soda machine. KENTA and Tatsu then hold him to the machine while he orders a soda, opens it and pours it onto Cole then smashes the can into Cole's head. Morrison then comes back and superkicks Adam in the face. As the group leaves...
John Morrison : That. Was funny.
The crowd goes “Ooh” and the scene quickly fades to Britani Knight walking down the ramp and walking up the ramp quickly then sliding into the ring.
Amy Dumas : Well that...was interesting to say the most. But now we have our women's division in action. We have the young and talented Britani Knight in the ring now.
Britani Knight poses on the top rope. The crowd cheers for her as he motions her arms for the crowd to cheer louder and louder. Only moments later, Natalya would appear, bursting through the curtains aggressively.
Todd Grisham : This is the also young and talented Natalya. I remember last week when Zexuis and Pandora won their match, Natalya came out here and from what we thought was going to shake their hands for beating established superstars but instead, surprise attacked them.
Amy Dumas : No, no, no. Natalya did not congratulate the two. Natalya is totally off the hook.
Todd : For beating up rookies Amy? Lets take a look.
Britani Knight vs Natalya
Britani spears Natalya into the canvas and bashes her head into the mat. After a few moments, the referee breaks up the two and Natalya gets up to her feet. They lock up. Natalya gets the advantage and executes a quick judo flip to the ground to set up a surfboard stretch. She wrenches Knight's back and enjoys every second of it as she wrenches with more and more strain in her back. Britani Knight tries to break through but she isn't going to break out anytime soon and Natalya decides to come back to that move after weakening her some more. Natalya goes to pick up Britani Knight who then kicks her in the head while she is still grounded. Knight then gets up and staggers back in the corner, stalking Natalya. Natalya gets to one knee and she rushes towards her but Natalya punches Knight in the gut then lifts up Britani Knight in a vertical suplex maneuver. She holds the suplex for many seconds as the blood rushes to Knight's head but eventually Knight breaks out and lands on her feet. Natalya turns around into a DDT. Britani screams in adrenaline and the crowd follows her momentum. She then picks up Natalya and drags her into the corner before locking in a rope hung Boston Crab. As Britani Knight wrenches her back into the ropes, Alicia Fox jumps over the top rope! She looks at Natalya and shouts insults at her over and over. As Britani lets go of the hold, Alicia goes to the top rope. The referee tries to stop Fox and Natalya pokes Knight's eye. Knight holds her eye in agony and Natalya locks in a sharpshooter out of the blue! The referee sees it and Alicia Fox then kicks Natalya in the mouth. The referee has no choice but to ring the bell in disqualification.
Winner by Disqualification : Natalya
Alicia Fox then beats down on Natalya before Britani Knight pulls Fox off of Natalya and argues with her. Fox then kicks Knight in the gut then bounces off the ropes and connects with a scissor kick! She leaves the crowd in legitimate confusion as the cameras pan to the commentators.
Todd : Well, this is a dark Fox.
Amy : Oh, ha-ha. But anyway, we still have Motor City Machine Guns facing David Otunga and Titus O'Neil.
Grisham : Also, Brodus Clay will be in action tonight and wow did we see a video for this behemouth.
Amy : It doesn't even stop there. There is an explosive main event coming up. A fatal-four way between JTG, Jack Swagger, Paul London and KENTA.
Todd Grisham : All of this and more on Pinnacle Combat : Apex Road 2!
The scene fades to a video of the rookies.
Pac : Did you see Cole get drenched in soda?
Ricochet : That's going to be as close as he is going to see a blonde wet!
They start laughing hysterically as Pac stops abruptly.
Pac : Is that Zexuis? She is cornered by Melina and that other chick!
Ricochet : Hold on Pac. I'll be back.
The two close in on Zexuis and Ricochet squeezes in between them and blocks Zexuis. They look at him as he restrains them. Zexuis runs away as referees restrain the woman from sooner or later, consequently beating on Pac. As Melina and Miss Gorgeous scream and shout and accuse that they didn't do anything Pandora and Zexuis comes back.
Pandora : [shyly] Thank you.
Ricochet : Oh, its no problem. Anything to help ya know?
Pandora : Well...[moment of silence] See you around.
Ricochet gets caught in a hug from both of them before they walk off talking amongst each other. The scene then fades over to Susan Brooke.
Susan Brooke : Hello! Hello! Hello Pinnacle Combat! I'm here with Carlito.
The scene fades over to the 5'10 male.
Brooke : Carlito, despite having the first televised loss in Pinnacle Combat history, do you think that you can get into a championship title chase?
Carlito : Of course. Last week was last week. Next week is next week. I may have lost but I'm still the most dangerous in this company.
Brooke : What championship are you going after?
As the camera turns, Brad Maddox and Carlito are having a staredown.
Maddox : I can answer that. Carlito here is going after no championship. Maybe the woman's championship.
Carlito : Cute. What do you want?
Maddox : I just wanted to remind you that you aren't the most dangerous because you had the first loss.
Carlito : Is that right?
Maddox : Unless you want to prove it. Next week me and you.
Carlito : [smirks] Rookies. Whatever kid. I accept.
Maddox : That's all I wanted.
Brad Maddox walks away from Carlito, feeling accomplished. Brooke has already left by this time and Carlito looks at Maddox, unaffected. The scene fades away to the Motor City Machine Guns bursting through the curtain. They do their traditional pose for the crowd and receive pop.
Amy Dumas : Most dangerous man in the world?
Todd Grisham : I don't know seeing how they both lost last week.
Dumas : Well here we have the Motor City Machine Guns who made an impact by being a tag team enforcer for not only Paul London and Matt Hardy but for the Usos earlier.
Todd Grisham : They said they were going to make an impact in PC and despite their loss, they have made a gigantic impact.
Shelley slides into the ring while Sabin runs up the steps and jumps over the ropes to enter the ring. They look towards the ramp for their opponents but surprisingly Dustin Hart walks down the ramp with the same cards Tazz had and stands on the bottom of the ramp, shaking hands with Amy Dumas and Todd Grisham.
Todd : The boss is here to conduct the first television match of the night because David Otunga and Titus O'Neil are included in the television division.
Titus O'Neil and David Otunga appear walking down the ramp respectively and stop by the chairman, Dustin Hart.
Hart : Welcome to the television division if you had not seen it before. Someone in this crowd will be deciding the match type in this tag team match so lets see. David Otunga pick a letter and Chris Sabin pick a number.
Otunga : R.
Sabin : 4.
Hart : Do we have a R4 in the house? Anywhere? [waits] Yes? No?
A skinny male wearing a Pinnacle Combat T-Shirt shows he has the letters R4.
Hart : Great shirt you have there, now out of these 3 choices which would you pick?
Male : Hmm...B.
Hart : You all heard it folks. This will be a No Disqualification Tornado Tag Team match! Now get in the ring you two and ring the bell referee.
Motor City Machine Guns (Chris Sabin and Alex Shelley) vs David Otunga and Titus O'Neil
No DQ Tornado Tag Match
The match starts out with each team looking at each other. Alex Shelley kicks Titus O'Neil in the gut and as he doubles over, Shelley hits his back repeatedly. Sabin and Otunga lock up but Sabin ends up getting hit with a belly to belly suplex. Shelley knees Titus in the gut and throws him between the top and second rope and Titus hits the ground hard. Sabin staggers back and Otunga connects his combo with some forearms to the side of the head. Shelley dives over the top of the rope and connects a plancha to the groggy Titus O'Neil. Chris Sabin reverses a corner splash from Otunga and hits a nasty enzuigiri which sends Otunga leaning on the ropes. Sabin then clotheslines Otunga over the ropes. Shelley then searches under the ring for a weapon and finds a steel chair. Titus literally pushes Alex across the concrete floor with a big boot to the chest of Shelley who was holding a steel chair to it which adds an extra snap to the kick. Chris Sabin uses the ropes to kick David Otunga to the floor but Otunga grabs his leg but Sabin rebuttals his kick with an enzuigiri and David falls to the floor but lands on his feet. Sabin tries for a corkscrew plancha but Otunga grabs Sabin and slams him on his back. Titus grabs the chair and swings it wildly on Alex Shelley multiple times. The crowd responds with a mixed reaction because of the hardcore aspect of the match. David pins Sabin. 1...2...Kick out! David then picks up Chris Sabin and rolls him into the ring. As David rolls into the ring, he poses for the crowd then runs to the ropes and...misses the elbow drop! Sabin rolls out of the way and pulls himself to a vertical base using aid via the ropes. Titus picks up Shelley and throws him into the steel steps but Shelley just jumps to the top of the steel steps and as Titus rushes towards Alex Shelley, Alex dives off the steps and connects with a hurricanrana! The crowd pops with the environment use of Shelley. Alex then slides into the ring and aids Sabin. He turns David Otunga around amazes the crowd with his strength by executing a backpack stunner. Shelley pins Otunga. 1...2...Broken by Titus O'Neil!
Sabin rushes towards Titus only to get hit with the Clash of the Titus! The crowd pops loud as Shelley tries to avenge Titus with a Shellshock (Swinging reverse STO)! They are all laid out! The crowd pops huge as KENTA, Yoshi Tatsu and Goto hops over the ropes and slides into the ring then beats up Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin! Goto and Tatsu punch and kick Chris Sabin who is in the corner and KENTA puts Shelley over the shoulders and drops Shelley with a Go To Sleep! Shelley flies away from his knee like a ragdoll. Goto grabs Sabin by his wrists but Sabin tries to break free and the crowd cheers as he is successful. KENTA rushes over and Chris Sabin is delivering punches to all three of these invaders. Sabin, either stupid or genius, clotheslines Tatsu then spin kicks Goto and dropkicks KENTA but they each get up after falling down and the numbers gain is too much as KENTA and Yoshi Tatsu hold Chris Sabin. Goto then sprays a red mist into Chris Sabin's eyes and they let go. Sabin's eyes burn and he rolls on the floor, squirming and Goto picks him up and connects with a Go To Heaven(Olympic slam)! They each leave the ring in unison and exit through the crowd! The crowd pops huge as David Otunga crawls over to Chris Sabin and pins him. The referee must count. 1...2...3!
Winner by Pinfall : David Otunga and Titus O'Neil
The crowd boos loud as the victorious duo roll out of the ring.
Todd : A very controversial ending.
Amy : The Motor Machine Guns received karma.
Todd : What are you talking about this was unethical?
Amy : Look Todd, KENTA, Yoshi Tatsu and Goto are facing Paul London and the Motor City Machine Guns at All Out Assault right?
Todd : Right.
Amy : They stuck their heads in Paul and the three men's business. There must be consequences.
Todd : Riiiight...But anyway, Brodus Clay will be in action later tonight and the monumental main event will be coming soon! JTG vs KENTA vs Jack Swagger vs Paul London.
The scene fades to Paul London bursting through KENTA's locker room and staring each of the three in the eye.
Paul London : You think you're real cool don't you?
The crowd pops.
Paul London : You guys pick on people when you know you have the advantage. You had a huge line of weakness when it was an even encounter but now you want to sabotage my partners before All Out Assault? Bullcrap because what goes around comes around KENTA.
Tatsu : You and what army?
Paul London : Don't worry about that. It isn't about me getting revenge. Its about bring you to justice before something bad happens. You three have and will sabotage many people in the locker room individually. Adam Cole, me, Matt Hardy and I personally don't care about Cole but when it gets into my business I will make sure that each of you guys know who I am. I'm not your average cruiserweight. I'm better than you Goto, I am better than you Tatsu and I know I'm way better than you KENTA.
KENTA : Is that right?
Paul London : 100% and when we both are fighting out there, you won't make it to All Out Assa-
Tazz enters the room.
Tazz : London, exit, now.
London looks at the four then exits, slamming the door behind him. The scene fades to Dustin Hart in the center of the ring with a microphone.
Dustin : You know...no one likes a mean, strict boss. I don't. You don't. We all don't. It's not my job to be on Tazz's ass. It's my job to supervise the business of the Pinnacle Combat and the more entertaining, action side. Hiring, firing, making matches...is not necessarily my objective. That is what I want Tazz to do but this job has to be harder than it seems.
The crowd senses the heat.
Dustin : The mind of a businessman and the mind of a wrestler has different disciplinary actions. For example, as a businessman if I see someone legitimately injuring wrestlers with his or her finisher then yes I will ban it. But if Tazz wants to listen to one wrestler rather than thinking like a businessman then is it possible for Tazz to be a good General Manager? Can I compare to you people?
The crowd stays silent.
Dustin : You know what? I don't care. I have my wrestler and he better have his so bring out your wrestl-
Goto, Tazz, Yoshi Tatsu and KENTA are then seen at the top of the ramp. Tazz smirks and Dustin nods laughing to himself.
Dustin : Do I have to teach you the number one?
Tazz : I know it quite fine and I also know about these guys. So I decided to be a “businessman” and let you pick your poison.
Dustin : Well I pick the skimpy-ish one in the middle.
Dustin points at Yoshi Tatsu as he takes off his traditional Shinjiketo mask and walks down to the ring himself. The crowd pops awaiting Dustin Hart's selection.
Tazz : Where is your selection boss?;
Dustin laughs as the lights go dark. The crowd cheers and you can sense that someone is coming or something is going to happen. As the lights come back Brodus Clay is behind Yoshi Tatsu. The crowd cheers loudly.
Dustin : Since I was the challenger, Tazz pick a letter and number.
Tazz : I9.
A man promptly hops up, signaling Hart.
Dustin : Pick a letter sir.
Man : I don't know they all look so awesome...damn...I guess I have to say C.
Tazz : So what's C?
Dustin looks at the card and his eyes pop out of his head. He walks around the ring, up the ramp and hands it to Tazz who reads it and his eyes pop out of his head.
Tazz : A lumberjack match?!
The crowd cheers as the entire locker room walks out, down the ramp and surrounds the ring, faces on one side and heels on the other. The referee rings the bell.
Brodus Clay vs Yoshi Tatsu
If Brodus wins, Twist of Fate is not banned. If Tatsu wins, Twist of Fate is banned and Dustin Hart must not interfere in Tazz's decisions
Brodus wastes no time and grabs Tatsu by the throat, lifts him high in the air and chokeslams the wind out of him. Tatsu rolls out on the apron but Brodus tosses Yoshi Tatsu back in the ring like a ragdoll and throws him into the corner. He then jumps high in the air and splashes onto Yoshi, nearly crushing Yoshi Tatsu who is flattened in the corner. Brodus then grabs Tatsu's arm and throws him into the opposite corner. Brodus Clay then connects with a hip attack which Tatsu is being punished for. He staggers out of the corner but Clay keeps the momentum going with a crossbody! The crowd cheers loud as Tatsu squirms around until he is dead center of the ring. Clay looks at Tatsu then bounces off the ropes and ends Yoshi with a splash. He pins Tatsu. The referee counts. 1...2...3!
Winner by pinfall : Brodus Clay
No dancing by Clay as he leaves the ring and looks at his left and right peers. They dare not to attack to attack the Goliath as he walks up the ramp and leaves with Dustin Hart while Tazz looks disapointed at both Tatsu, the Shinjiketo and himself. The scene cuts to Susan Brooke.
Susan : Hello Pinnacle Combat. I'm here with JTG.
JTG : Ch'yeah!
Susan : JTG tell me, just minutes away from your main event number one contenders match, what are your final thoughts?
JTG : You know, I won against Carlito. No problem, so whats 3 more guys?
Susan : You seem to have total confidence diving into this match.
JTG : And why shouldn't I? I captured the first win of Apex Road. It ain't like any of those guys out there can stack up to me! Let's see, Jack Swagger. He lost even when three guys came to his aid! Paul London, tapped out to KENTA. I don't know much about KENTA but KENTA don't know much 'bout JTG ya know? So who's gonna stop me? No one.
Brooke : Well I hear your theme song, you should get going. This is Susan Brooke, back to you Grisham and Dumas.
As the lumberjack match ends, London, KENTA and Swagger are in the ring except for JTG, who was scheduled for an interview so he was not able to set guard for the lumberjack match. JTG bursts through the curtain and walks down the ramp then walks up the steel steps. He stares at Swagger as he enters the ring and the referee rings the bell.
JTG vs Jack Swagger vs Paul London vs KENTA
Number One Contendership for the Pinnacle Championship
The match starts out with Paul London and KENTA, immediately, brawling leaving JTG and Swagger to lock up. JTG gets the advantage and knees Swagger in the gut then hits an uppercut to the bent Swagger. Paul London gets more than what he bargained for as KENTA manages to push him into the corner and pummels him into a seated position then kicks London in the chest. London holds his chest in pain, wincing. JTG has Swagger in a headlock in the corner, trying to keep the 260 pound wrestler under control. Jack Swagger squirms out and connects with a German Suplex! JTG holds his head in pain as Swagger goes over and helps KENTA kick the cornered London. Swagger then picks him up and holds him tight, restraining his arms behind London's back. KENTA then connects with a kick to the gut then a kick to the knee. KENTA then steps back and goes for a kick to the head but London escapes Swagger's hold and Jack gets hit with a kick to the skull which makes him slip out of the ring. JTG gets up and looks at the grounded London and hits a quick flurry of stomps then pins him. The referee counts. 1...2..Break out by KENTA. KENTA then picks up JTG and throws him over the ropes but he skins the cat before KENTA notices. By this time, Jack Swagger is back up and in the ring and he slides into the ring and takes advantage of JTG and when JTG is back in the ring the All-American American hits a hard big boot to the back of JTG, causing him to fly into the canvas. KENTA picks up London and he hits a Pele kick to KENTA! KENTA falls down. He then sees Swagger and runs over to him and connects a spinning wheel kick! He then puts Swagger on top of JTG and KENTA on top of Swagger then goes to the top rope. The crowd cheers as he stands on the top rope looking at the pile. He dives off in a 450 splash but KENTA moves and London hits Swagger! Paul London scrambles to his feet as KENTA does and clotheslines him out the ring. As these two rivals fall to the floor, KENTA lands on his feet and pushes London into the ring post! London is busted open! KENTA slides back into the ring and goes over to pin Swagger. 1...2...Kick out! KENTA then goes over to pin JTG. 1..2...Kick out! KENTA gets frustrated and stalks Jack Swagger who is getting up. The crowd boos as Swagger pulls himself up with the ropes. Paul London is on one knee sliding in the ring, blood becoming more noticeable. KENTA grabs Swagger and goes for a Go To Sleep but Swagger elbows his way out and hits a surprise Gutwrench powerbomb! The crowd pops immensely. Jack Swagger goes to pin KENTA.
Jack Swagger can't believe his eyes as JTG gets up. Struggling on his feet he rushes at Swagger and stomps him while he is down. Swagger braces the kicks and rolls onto the apron. JTG grabs him by the hair but Swagger grabs JTG by the hair and drops to the floor causing JTG to bounce his head on the ropes and hit the floor with an extra snap. JTG rolls out of the ring and starts exchanging punches with Jack Swagger. KENTA rolls out the ring as well and starts punching to, emphasizing on JTG. Paul London looks at them and runs to the ropes and dives off, with a somersault plancha! The crowd goes nuts as London hits all three men and now its anyone's game. They are all laid out in pursuit for the number one contendership for the Pinnacle Championship. KENTA rolls over towards the apron and uses them to get up. KENTA then picks up Paul London and slides him in the ring. He then goes to pin London. 1...2...Kick out! KENTA slaps the ring canvas and gets up stalking for a Go To Sleep. JTG slides into the ring and turns KENTA around and goes for Da Shout Out but KENTA pushes JTG into Swagger who just entered the ring and Swagger hits JTG with a Gutwrench Powerbomb. Swagger then kicks KENTA and gets him into position until he bumps into the referee! Goto and Tatsu come out promptly as if they were waiting for this moment to happen and they slide into the ring and beat up Swagger. Tatsu hits a roundhouse kick to Swagger and Goto kicks JTG. KENTA leans on the turnbuckle trying to recover as they all look at London. Goto and Tatsu begin to punch and kick London until KENTA orders them to stop. KENTA then lifts him up and connects a Go To Sleep! He pins London as Goto and Tatsu roll JTG and Swagger out of the ring. As the referee recovers he counts the pin. 1...2...3!
Winner by Pinfall : KENTA
Todd : KENTA is the other number one contender for the Pinnacle Championship! I can't believe it!
Amy : Believe it Todd. KENTA will face Matt Hardy for the Pinnacle Championship at All Out Assault.
Todd : That's going to be one hell of a match considering he is in another match with Goto and Tatsu vs London and the Motor City Machine Guns!
Dustin Hart appears on the stage.
Hart : Woah. Wait. Wait. KENTA you used Goto and Yoshi Tatsu to win.
The crowd boos KENTA.
Hart : Therefore, London gets another chance for the number one contendership. Next week, London vs KENTA and if Goto or Tatsu touches London before, during or after that match, anytime during the show, not only does Paul London receive number one contendership but KENTA you will be suspended!
The crowd cheers as KENTA looks at Goto and Tatsu. The scene abruptly cuts to Tazz and two masked men.
Tazz : Hey...let go...of me you son of a-
They throw Tazz in a car. Both masked men look at each other then enter the car and ride off into the night. The scene fades away.
Re: Pinnacle Combat :The Dark Horse Of Revolution
The scene fades into the end of the last show.
Dustin : You know. I haven't seen Tazz in the past 6 days. It irks me that he didn't show up and he wants me to think he's reliable and responsible? With things to address such as Joey LeBell, the Shinjiketo and the fate of the Pinnacle Championship, I'm appalled at the recklessness and flakiness of Tazz. It's disgusting.
The crowd stays silent knowing what actually happened to Tazz.
Dustin Hart : As your chairman, I will be taking control of Apex Road until further notice.
The crowd pops and the video screen and it flashes TV static until it then fades over to two masked men. The man on the left is wearing a ski mask with a number one spray painted on the mask. As the man to the right, he is wearing a similar ski mask with a number two spray painted on it. There is one light which shines on him. Something incoherent is happening in the background.
Masked Man #1 : As the abductor, I see a crossroad.
Dustin Hart : Who are you and how did you get onto the vid-
Masked Man #2 : Shut up! We will be asking the questions and you will be answering them. Not the other way around.
Dustin Hart stares at the screen and remains silent.
Masked Man #2 : I see your foresight Hart. I don't like it. Equality is corruption. I see Tazz's foresight and I came to handle justice before it was too late. Chaos is key. You want ratings. You are a businessman not a true wrestling fan. So I decided to abduct a key role in your show. Your general manager.
He steps away from the camera and Tazz is seen. A clothe is tied around the mouth of Tazz, he is also handcuffed and restrained from the legs. He is screaming muffled noises at the camera, possibly calls for help as Dustin is shocked and astonished at the reason to why Tazz didn't clock in.
Dustin : What are your demands?
Masked Man #2 : Shut the hell up! We ask the questions here. Not. You.
Masked Man #1 : We will be back during All Out Assault. Be there.
The scene changes to TV static. Dustin Hart stares cold at the TV as two men appear on stage at the wrong place at the wrong time : Jack Swagger and JTG.
JTG : Sir. We have been talking it over and we decided to come to you and present our complaint.
Jack Swagger : Dustin Hart, I seen what just happened and this is a bad time but time is running out.
JTG and Jack Swagger are walking down the ramp.
JTG : You see, KENTA and his crew attacked me...
Jack Swagger : ...and me...
JTG : Yeah, whatever, and I don't see it fair that Paul London gets the rematch and not me.
Jack Swagger : ...and me...
JTG : Okay, okay, okay Swagger. Anyways, I think this crowd deserves a champion that worked for his belt fair and square. That isn't KENTA and Paul London lost to KENTA. If anything, the top dog in Pinnacle Combat is me.
Jack Swagger : ...and me! Listen Hart, sir, you are the chairman. You can solve this problem easily. If you can put us in the main event, I won't let you down.
Dustin Hart stares at them coldly and leaves the ring.
JTG : Sir-
Dustin Hart turns around and walks back up the steel steps and into the ring.
Dustin Hart : Tag Team Match. JTG and Jack Swagger will face Super Crazy and Jushin Liger. Winning team gets number one contendership. Now, get out of my face!
They promptly and swiftly exited the ring and ran up the ramp and behind the curtain. The cameras swing over to the commentators Amy Dumas and Todd Grisham.
Amy Dumas : Welcome to Pinnacle Combat. I am Amy Dumas alongside my partner Todd Grisham.
Todd Grisham : We have 4 huge matches this week! First we have Kytakauki vs Joey LeBell. Two rookies will face off.
Amy Dumas : After that, we will see the bubbling rivalry finally take place in the ring. Adam Cole will be facing John Morrison.
Todd Grisham : After that, this new rivalry will also be taking place in the ring. Adam Cole will be taking on John Morrison.
Amy Dumas : Lastly, our main event. A rematch. Paul London will compete against KENTA but for now we will be showcasing our tag team division. Pac and Ricochet will be making their in-ring debut against Rhett Titus and Kenny King.
Pac and Ricochet run down the ramp and slides into the ring. They go to the top of the turnbuckle in one leap. They pose for the fans as Rhett Titus and Kenny King are seen walking down the ramp with an arrogant attitude. Kenny King slides into the ring and Rhett Titus walks up the steel steps and enters the ring.
Pac and Ricochet vs Kenny King and Rhett Titus
Tag Team Match
Number One Contendership for the Pinnacle Tag Team Championship
The referee rings the bell and the match is underway. Pac and Kenny King start out. The two stare at each other before circling the canvas. After a few moments they lock up. Pac gets the advantage but King goes for a back suplex but no! Pac lands on his feet. The two stare at each other again, knowing this match was more challenging then they thought. Pac and Kenny King lock up. Kenny King gets the advantage this time and bashes Pac's head into the turnbuckle. He continues this vicious routine until the referee splits them up. Kenny King smirks then pushes Pac back in the corner and goes to attack but Pac counters with an elbow to the face. He then goes to the top rope and connects a dropkick which sends King back and the crowd on their feet! Pac then scrambles up to his feet and picks up Kenny King. He goes for an Irish whip and sends Kenny to the ropes. Upon return, Pac lands a nice rana then connects with a standing corkscrew shooting star press which he calls British Airways. The crowd cannot believe what they saw. Pac then goes to the corner and signals for a 450 splash. He looks at Kenny and drags him closer to be safe then climbs the turnbuckle in one leap. He stands on the turnbuckle but Rhett Titus comes to sabotage his plans but Pac kicks him away which makes Titus lose his balance and land on the crowd barrier. Pac then stands back up on the turnbuckle and dives for a picture perfect 450 splash until Kenny King puts up his knees and Pac gets the air blown out of his lungs with an impressive counter. Kenny King pins Pac. 1...2! Quick kick out from Pac which means this match will continue. Kenny King gets up and goes to the ropes and connects a surprise springboard clothesline to the just recovering Pac. Kenny King tags in Rhett Titus who doesn't hesitate and runs to the ropes. Pac is just getting up again and Rhett Titus leaps over Pac and hits a leg drop bulldog which he likes to call the Thrust Buster. He then signals that he is going to end the match and the crowd pops loud. He goes to the top rope and taunts Pac a bit before diving for a frog splash! He connects. He pins Pac! 1...2...Foot on the rope! Rhett Titus then picks up Pac but Pac unleashes his hidden energy and hits a huge right fist then a left then a right and connects left and right respective kicks. Rhett pushes him back to avoid anymore kicks but instead Pac responds with a super kick! Rhett stumbles back and Kenny tags himself into the match! Kenny clotheslines Pac and roars into the crowd. Kenny then picks up Pac and throws him into the turnbuckle. King rushes to Pac but Pac hits a suprise cutter! Pac then goes to the top rope and connects a 630 senton! He then crawls over and tags Ricochet! The crowd goes crazy as Rhett Titus interferes but Ricochet throws him out of the ring! Pac then dives over the top rope and lands a plancha dive. Ricochet goes to the top rope and connects a double rotation moonsault! The crowd is on the edge of their seats as Ricochet pins Kenny King. 1...2...3!
Winner by Pinfall : Pac and Ricochet
Pac and Ricochet celebrate in the crowd as the scene fades over to Susan Brooke, head interviewer.
Susan Brooke : Hello! Hello! Hello Pinnacle Combat! I'm here with Paul London. Now London, you have an opportunity to become the inaugural world champion. Any thoughts?
London : You know Susan...KENTA isn't my primary concern but he is not a threat to me and during the match later on, you'll see what I mean. KENTA is weak. Goto and Yoshi Tatsu should try to overthrow KENTA. He's not a threat. In fact, Brodus beat Tatsu fair and square but when KENTA is about to be beaten he sends his troops. It's ridiculous and that is not even what irks me is that he walks all tall and mighty. He just picks a person and those two send their lives on the line for KENTA. It's sickening. When I win tonight, I will make sure one of two things happen tonight. One, they touch me and KENTA is suspended or two, I just win. Either way, you are all witnessing the first inaugural world champion.
Paul London walks away as Susan Brooke watches London. The scene fades to Matt Hardy watching Apex Road 1 in his locker room until he hears the door close. A familiar rival walks up to him. Hardy turns his head.
Matt Hardy : What do you want?
As the camera zooms out, it is Swagger that intrudes Hardy's locker room.
Jack Swagger : I just wanted to tell you that even though All Out Assault is coming and I might have a shot at the championship, this grudge is not over. After All Out Assault, champion or not, I will avenge my loss.
Matt Hardy : Oh really? Is that right?
Jack Swagger : [smirks] Sarcasm? No wonder you were only second best. To you. To your brother. To this business.
Jack Swagger leaves Hardy's locker room as the scene fades back to the ring which has Dustin Hart and Kytakauki in it.
Dustin Hart : Pick a single-digit number and a letter.
Kytakauki : U0
Hart : Good good. Do we have a U0 in the house?
Dustin Hart exits the ring. He approaches a short, light-skinned, brunette.
Hart : Why hello there! I'll give you a card and you will pick one of the three choices there. Deal?
Female : Sounds fair. Deal. [laughs and recieves the index card] A!
Hart : Excellent! You have chosen a Falls Count Anywhere match! This match will also be either for the North American Championship if Kytakauki wins or for the Television championship if Joey LeBell wins. Now ring the bell.
Kytakauki vs Joey LeBell
Falls Count Anywhere
Number One Contendership
Kytakauki extends his land for a sign of respect to start off the match but LeBell wants no part of it as he kicks Kytakauki dead in his baby makers. LeBell can be heard screaming “I'm Joey LeBell! You don't deserve my respect. LeBell picks up Kytakauki and throws him over the top rope. Kytakauki skins the cat but LeBell sees. LeBell tries to counter but Kytakauki grabs Joey's head with his feet and flips him over the ropes and to the floor still holding on to the ropes. Kytakauki stays on the ring apron and connects a leg drop to the grounded Joey LeBell. This is a falls count anywhere match and this match can and will happen anywhere these men want it to take place. Kytakauki pins Joey LeBell. 1...2... Joey kicks out. Kytakauki gets up and picks up Joey LeBell in a fireman's carry then drops him on the ring apron. LeBell is stunned but not down. Kytakauki leans on the steel steps trying to catch his breath. Joey rushes at Kytakauki but Kytakauki hits trips LeBell and his face eats the corner of the steel steps! LeBell is busted open as Kytakauki mocks Joey LeBell by imitating his trademark poses. Kytakauki grabs the water off the announcers desk and pours it on his face then throws the bottle away. He picks up Joey LeBell and tries to end it with his finisher a running release powerbomb. LeBell rakes the Japanese rookie's eye and lands on his feet after Kytakauki lets him go. LeBell then hits a super kick and looks at the crowd. He snatches a camera from the crowd members and takes a picture of himself. Kytakauki goes for his own version of a super kick but Joey trips his other leg and literally swings the camera and smacks Kytakauki's face with the camera using the armband. He then turns around and gives the item back to the crowd member. LeBell then stalks Kytakuaki and connects with a double underhook DDT followed by a cattle mutilation! Kytakauki taps immediately!
Winner by Submission : Joey LeBell
Joey LeBell raises his arms in victory. The referee checks on Kytakauki as LeBell grabs a microphone.
LeBell : And your future inaugural television champion! Joeeeeeeeeeeeeey...LeBelllll!
He throws the microphone and poses for the booing crowd. The scene fades away to KENTA walking down the hall. The scene cuts to Paul London walking down the hall. The scene then cuts to Jack Swagger walking down the hall. They reach an intersection.
KENTA : Swagger.
Paul London : KENTA.
Jack Swagger : London.
Paul London : Swagger.
KENTA : London.
Jack Swagger : KENTA...I will be the inaugural world champion.
Paul London : Sure, Swagger. Even if you become the first world champion, it'll be the shortest reign in history.
KENTA : I will be the victor.
Paul London : With your tactics, you won't stand a chance.
Swagger : Well, we'll see then. [walks past KENTA] We'll see.
KENTA and Paul London stare each other down as the scene fades to a video promo.
Amy Dumas : All Out Assault is coming to you next Sunday! Get your tickets soon on our website below.
Todd Grisham : This next match is a television division match as well. These two have a bubbling rivalry and it's going to burst tonight.
Amy Dumas : This match is for the number one contendership for the television championship.
Todd Grisham : The winner of this match will be facing Joey LeBell at All Out Assault.
Amy Dumas : I wonder what match these two will debut in.
Todd Grisham : Here comes Dustin Hart walking down the ramp.
Dustin Hart : John pick a letter. Adam pick a number.
John Morrison : J
Adam Cole : 1
Dustin Hart : Do I have a J1 in the house? Anybody? J1?...Oh there you are.
A tall, heavy tattooed male appears at ringside and Dustin gives him a card.
Male : I choose...C.
Dustin : He chose...a ladder match! Now ring the bell.
Adam Cole vs John Morrsion
Number One Contendership For The Television Championship
The two stare at each other. A ladder match. They look up and sees a contract in suspension. Adam Cole and John Morrison then look at each other. They lock up for a good moment and no one gets the advantage. Adam Cole smirks as they lock up again but this time Cole pokes Morrison in the eye and runs to the ropes. Morrison reverses with a STO backbreaker followed by a Russian legsweep. He then poses for the fans. As Morrison exits the ring, Adam Cole rolls out on the other side. Cole grabs a ladder. Morrison grabs a ladder and they both enter the ring. Morrison puts his down and hits a running dropkick to Adam Cole. Morrison then grabs the ladder and begins the long climb up. Rung after rung, the crowd cheers louder and louder but Adam Cole grabs John's foot and pulls him off the floor. He then hits an enzuigiri. Cole then pushes the ladder down and climbs to the top rope. He stalks Morrison, waiting for him to get up. As Morrison gets to a vertical base, still groggy, Cole surprises John Morrison with a crossbody! LeBell then places one ladder leaning on the corner and sets up th eother ladder. He begins the long climb up to reach the number one contendership for the North American championship. The crowd gives a huge pop and heat for Morrison and Cole. Morrison grabs a rung and crawls up slowly as well. Just as we were about to have a victory. Cole looks at Morrison and yawns waiting to push him off the ladder. Morrison makes it to the top and they start brawling. Adam punches Morrison then the other way around and this pattern continues until Adam gets the advantage and lands about four more hits before making the cutthroat gesture! Out of nowhere Super Crazy runs down the ramp and slides into the ring and just on time to as Adam pushes Morrison to the canvas. As Adam Cole tries to grab the contract and ensure his spot at All Out Assault, Super Crazy pushes the ladder and Adam Cole hits the ladder and lands on the canvas hard. Super Crazy taunts. Morrison can win this. Just then Super Crazy runs over to the referee standing by in the ladder match to ring the bell and whispers in his ear. The referee announces that Super Crazy has entered the match. He slides into the ring and sets the ladder back into place. He begins the long climb up and upon reaching the top, both Cole and Morrison push the ladder and Super Crazy falls out of the ring hard. John Morrison takes the initiative and hits a corkscrew neckbreaker which he calls the Moonlight Drive. John Morrison then sets up the ladder and climbs the rung. He knows he has won this and he climbs slower and slower. Upon reaching the top, he laughs...to himself. He is mocking them by not taking the advantage and getting the contract but this soon ends as eventually he unhooks the contract.
Winner by Retrieval : John Morrison
John Morrison celebrates on top of the ladder.
Amy Dumas : John Morrison will face Joey LeBell at All Out Assault! This is amazing!
The scene fades from John Morrison celebrating to Pandora and Ricochet.
Pandora : That was a great match out there.
Ricochet : Well thanks. I'm getting used to the Pinnacle Combat atmosphere. But um, can I ask you something?
Pandora : Sure...anything.
Ricochet : There is a pizza place down the street. Let's get to know each other.
Pandora : ...Sure. That sounds...fun.
The two stare awkwardly at each other until Britani Knight walks in between them.
Britani Knight : If I may interrupt this puppy love, I would like to ask Pandora here for a match next week. You see, I want to be the inaugural women's champion. To do this I have to get into the match. This is where you come in.
Ricochet : What makes you so sure you are going to win?
Britani Knight : Everything. I'm stronger, more skilled and have a better taste in men.
The crowd goes “Oooh” as Pac and Zexuis come into the scene.
Zexuis : Is something the matter?
Britani Knight : I don't know...Pandora...how about you answer?
Pandora : I'll face you...if you get out of my face.
Britani Knight smirks and leaves. Pandora looks at Ricochet then grabs Zexuis's hand and leaves. The scene fades to Alicia Fox and Miss Gorgeous standing in the ring. Miss Gorgeous is posing for the crowd. Just then Natalya appears on the stage. Walking down the ramp, she eyes Alicia Fox and stays ringside awaiting her opponent. After a moment, Zexuis appears on stage with Pandora. They walk down the ramp and stare at Natalya. Natalya and Zexuis enter the ring as Pandora stares in her partner's corner. The referee rings the bell.
Alicia Fox and Miss Gorgeous vs Natalya and Zexuis
Tag Team Match
Number One Contendership For The Women's Championship
Alicia Fox and Natalya start out. Alicia wastes no time and hits a stiff elbow to Natalya's face. As Natalya is bent over, Fox hits a Scissors kick! That's it for Natalya. But Alicia picks up Natalya and hits a thrust kick to Natalya and lands another Scissors kick! Two finishers so early in the match. Alicia Fox then bounces off the ropes and connects a somersault leg drop! Three finishers and Alicia Fox then tags in Miss Gorgeous and exits the ring but not to normally stay on the apron but walking up the ramp. The crowd gives a mixed reaction to Alicia Fox. Alicia walks onto the stage and turns around. She pushes the cameraman to the ground then walks through the curtain. Miss Gorgeous pins Natalya. 1...2...No! Natalya gets a leg on the ropes. Miss Gorgeous drags Natalya to the center and pins her again. 1...2...Kick out! Miss Gorgeous screams like a spoiled brat and gets on top of Natalya and bashes the back of her head into the crowd. The referee separates them as Natalya tags in Zexuis and leaves the ring. This time Natalya walks up the ramp and she disappears behind the curtain. Zexuis enters the ring and they lock up. Zexuis gets the advantage and hits a few elbows to Gorgeous's face. She bounces off the ropes only to get hit with a leg lariat that Gorgeous calls a “Touch Up”. She pins Zexuis. 1...2...3!
Winner by Pinfall : Miss Gorgeous and Alicia Fox
Miss Gorgeous leaves the ring as Pandora enters the ring and checks on her best friend. More referees enter the ring and check on Zexuis. As Miss Gorgeous disappears past the curtain, Britani Knight appears clapping, mocking Zexuis to irk Pandora. Pandora looks at her and stands up. They eye each other as the scene fades to the Motor City Machine Guns walking through backstage. Goto and Yoshi Tatsu assault them from behind with steel chairs and stomp on them. The Usos run into the scene and clotheslines either partner. The Usos and Goto and Tatsu brawl until the Motor City Machine Guns get up and it becomes a 4 vs 2 brawl until Gangrel and Kevin Thorn enter the brawl and its now a 4 versus 4 brawl. Jimmy is brawling with Goto. Gangrel is brawling with Alex Shelley. Yoshi Tatsu is fighting Chris Sabin. Jey Uso and Kevin Thorn are trading fists until a plethora of referees and official seperate these 8 members. The scene fades back to Amy Dumas and Todd Grisham.
Todd Grisham : Well due to what transpired, Dustin Hart will be addressing the situation to the public next week after checking in on each of them individually.
Amy Dumas : But on to a different subject, lets see why Brad Maddox and Carlito are fighting in the first place.
Brad Maddox vs Carlito
Number One Contendership for the North American Title
Brad Maddox rushes to Carlito and kicks him in the gut then hits a DDT. He then unloads a load of punches to the skull of the Caribbean. The referee separates Brad as he pushes the referee out of his way and dives on Carlito with a senton. He pins Carlito 1...! Quick kick out by Carlito as Brad Maddox gets stressed early in the match. Maddox picks up Carlito and Irish whips him into the corner. Brad hits a corner shoulder thrust and Carlito winces. Maddox puts all his might into another shoulder thrust and Carlito is now seated, leaning on the turnbuckle. Maddox then pushes his foot into Carlito's head, stretching his neck back, further into the turnbuckle. The referee counts. 1...2...3....4 and Brad Maddox lets go. Maddox tells Carlito to get up as he slaps Carlito in the face. He quickly links his slap with a whip to the ropes and Carlito jumps onto the second rope and hits Maddox with a springboard elbow. He pins up Maddox and slaps him back and whips him to the ropes and upon coming back Brad Maddox ducks a massive clothesline and rushes towards the ropes. He goes for his own clothesline but Carlito avoids and hits a sitout spine buster. Carlito pins Brad Maddox. 1...2...Kick out! Carlito motions the crowd to clap. They start to clap and stomp on the ground as Carlito stalks Brad Maddox. Carlito hits one clothesline. He bounces off the ropes as Brad stumbles to his feet again only to take another clothesline. Carlito bounces off the ropes and connects a jumping arm breaker. Carlito and Maddox are on the ground now. The referee counts as both of them have not made an attempt to get up for a long time. 1! Neither wrestler seems to be showing any signs of life soon. 2! 3! 4! 5! 6! 7! 8! Carlito gets on one knee and Maddox is on one knee and they start brawling. The crowd cheers when Carlito executes a punch and boos when Brad Maddox lands a hook. Carlito gets to his feet as they brawl. Carlito is punching down at Brad Maddox but Maddox grabs Carlito's arm and falls back with his knees on Carlito's arm and almost snaps it in half! Brad Maddox pins Carlito with his legs on the ropes. 1...2 The crowd boos immensely as the referee's hand stops literally millimeters away from the canvas and spots the legs on the ropes. He stops the count and Maddox and the referee argues. Maddox holds up three fingers and in the corner of his eye sees Carlito recovering. He runs to the ropes and bounces off for a springboard back elbow but Carlito hits a backstabber in mid-air! Carlito pins Brad Maddox! 1...2...3!
Winner by Pinfall : Carlito
Carlito slides out of the ring and looks under the ring. He grabs a table and slides it into the ring. He sets it up in the corner but Brad Maddox slides out of the ring and jumps the barrier. Carlito rushes after him. They run into the exits. Luckily, a cameraman is following. Brad Maddox reaches the exits and is running through the parking lot. Maddox sees a trashcan and takes off the lid then hides behind a corner. Carlito bursts through the doors and searches for Maddox. He turns the corner and gets smacked with a trash can lid. Carlito goes down as Maddox runs away into the night. The scene then fades to Susan Brooke, head interviewer.
Susan Brooke : Hey, this is Susan Brooke here with Matt Hardy. Hardy, you have received a fair share of criticism from Jack Swagger. Why do you believe this is so?
Matt Hardy : Jack Swagger lost. He wants to redeem is horrible career by trying to drag me down but he won't ever. Obviously, he has connections with the Shinjiketo and he doesn't want to reveal it. Like London said, KENTA is the ring leader but he is weak. London is a worthy competitor and I faced him back on Friday Nights. I know London fights fair but that doesn't mean he's going to win. I heard 4 people are going into this match. Only 1 will walk out Pinnacle Champion. These guys haven't seen my potential. KENTA, London, Jushin Liger, Super Crazy, JTG and especially Jack Swagger. You don't need to fear me or overlook me. Just remember, Matt Hardy will not die!
Matt Hardy leaves pumped up as the scene fades back to the commentators.
“I Can Slap A Tornado”
Matt Hardy is then seen bursting through the curtain.
Amy Dumas : Matt Hardy is joining us on commentary.
Todd Grisham : This is our main event! Paul London versus KENTA.
Matt Hardy : [shakes hands with Todd and Amy] Hello you two.
Todd Grisham : Hey Matt. Long time no see.
Matt Hardy : This is going to be an amazing match and I would like to see my opponent for All Out Assault.
Paul London is seen running down the ramp and sliding into the ring then jumping on the turnbuckle posing. He is ready for this match. He does not have to deal with KENTA or his team. KENTA is then seen jumping over the barricade and sliding into the ring. KENTA stares at Paul London. The referee looks at them both then rings the bell.
Paul London vs KENTA
Number One Contendership For The Pinnacle Championship
Paul London smirks at the so-called leader is out here alone. Paul slaps KENTA then connects with a spinning gut kick and finish off with a spinning wheel and KENTA slips over the top rope and hits the concrete floor. Paul London then grabs the top rope and lands a picture-perfect somersault plancha dive and the crowd gives London a brief standing ovation. Paul London gets up and drags KENTA closer to the ring apron. 1! 2! 3! 4! Paul London rolls KENTA into the ring and climbs onto the apron. He poses as he awaits for KENTA to stand up. He jumps onto the top rope and dives off but KENTA catches him in a Go To Sleep! Paul London tries to squirm out but he can't so he grabs the top rope! KENTA tries to pry his hands off but thinks it'd be best to put him down. KENTA then kicks London in the face three times then runs to the ropes. Upon running back, KENTA ducks a counter dropkick and runs to the ropes again. He sends Paul London between the first and second rope with a running arched boot. Paul London hits the concrete floor. The crowd pops loud as KENTA leans on the ropes and recovers a bit before exiting the ring. Paul London, who is still on the ground, gets picked up by KENTA. 1! KENTA bashes Paul London's head onto the crowd barricade. 2! 3! KENTA then slides Paul London in the ring and KENTA slides into the ring himself. The 180 pound Japanese male grabs the right leg of Paul London, then shouts abuse at London before locking in the cloverleaf. The referee checks to see if Paul London wants to tap out but he refuses. KENTA is in total control and his chances of winning and securing the number one contendership for the Pinnacle Championship are increasing each second London isn't breaking out of the hold. London's chances of getting the number one contendership is getting slimmer and slimmer back KENTA wrenches his legs. London crawls and grabs the ropes but KENTA isn't letting go anytime soon. The ref counts. 1....2....3.....4...KENTA lets go right before the five count. KENTA picks up London and throws him into the corner. He walks over and hits a knife edge chop to London. He raises London to the top rope. The crowd is on the edge of their seats as KENTA locks in a superplex but London hooks his leg to the ropes to prevent falling to his doom. KENTA then pokes London in the eye and tries to untangle his leg but London is not letting go anytime soon. Paul London then pushes KENTA off of the turnbuckle. KENTA loses his balance and bangs his head on the canvas. London goes to the top ropes and looks down at KENTA. Then on routine Goto and Yoshi Tatsu are running down the ramp and surrounding the ring. Paul London doesn't care about those two as he called it a “win-win situation” and performs a 450 splash! He goes to pin KENTA but Goto climbs onto the ring apron and intentionally distract the referee. Paul London gets up and turns the referee around and tells him to count the pin. Goto and Tatsu enter the ring. Note, they did not touch Paul London so KENTA is not suspended. Out of nowhere, Matt Hardy takes off his headset and trades punches with Goto and Tatsu. Eventually, the numbers gain is too much and they throw Hardy out of the ring. Then Adam Cole rushes to Matt Hardy's aid. Cole superkicks Tatsu and keeps Yoshi out of the ring. Matt Hardy kicks Goto in the gut and hits a Twist of Fate. Goto gets dropped to the ground as Adam Cole looks at Matt Hardy. They stare at each other and walk up the ramp. KENTA is watching his crew get dismantled. Paul London gets a quick roll up and the referee counts 1...2...3!
Winner by Pinfall : Paul London
KENTA motions his crew to retreat and they do. Matt Hardy and Adam Cole look at the crowd and they cheer on. These two victims shake hands as the scene fades to Dustin Hart who is looking at the match. He walks out of his office but sees a sticky note on his door. He looks at it, crumbles the note and punches the door.
Dustin Hart : [as the scene fades away] Motherf-
Re: Pinnacle Combat :The Dark Horse Of Revolution
The scene fades in to a video recap of last week.
Todd Grisham : Welcome to the fastest rising weekly wrestling television show and the fastest rising US promotion, Pinnacle Combat : Apex Road! I am here with Amy Dumas and we have three phenomenal matches scheduled for tonight. All number one contender matches also. I'm so excited to start off Apex Road 4! How about you Amy?
Amy Dumas : So excited. Too bad Tazz isn't here to enjoy how our show is progressing. We'll get more on that subject as we continue on with the show but anyway, the first match will be Gangrel and Kevin Thorn versus Jimmy and Jey Uso. These guys have been brawling last week along with the Motor City Machine Guns and Goto and Yoshi Tatsu also known as two members of the destructive three-man ground the Shinjiketo.
Todd Grisham : Another huge match coming up is Britani Knight vs Pandora. Britani Knight's passion for the women's championship combined with her taunting and persistence has helped enormously in the heat of this match. In fact, after Zexuis and Miss Gorgeous were left to fight, because Natalya and Alicia Fox walked out and Zexuis was beat down, Britani came out to taunt the fallen Zexuis and this burned inside Pandora. This match will also be for the number one contendership for the women's championship.
Amy Dumas : Not to mention the main event! Jack Swagger and JTG will compete against Jushin Liger and Super Crazy. How this match came about is when Jack Swagger and JTG asked at the wrong time, butting into Dustin Hart's confrontation and begging and pleading for a match. The winners of this match will be in the fatal four way match against Paul London and Matt Hardy for the Pinnacle Championship. Speaking of which, here comes Dustin Hart now to speak about Tazz's disappearance.
The cameras swing towards the ring, Dustin Hart, who was walking down the ramp during the commentators' introduction, is pacing the ring in an angry nature. He's holding a microphone in his hand and a blue sticky note, similar to the note that was seen last week at the end of the day that Hart read and without revealing to the camera, got really vexed with.
Dustin Hart : Last week, I received this.
Hart holds up the sticky note to the camera but the crowd stays silent.
Dustin Hart : I checked the cameras to see who put this nonsense on my door and something interesting popped up. Right when the show started and those two masked men that abducted Tazz last week, the cameras were cut off. Does anyone know what this means?
The crowd stays silent.
Dustin Hart : I promise if those two masked men trespassed and abducted Tazz during the show, they will pay! I checked Apex Road 2 for any evidence. Nothing. Nothing at all. These guys are really playing with fire. I'm checking each and every camera, the parking light cameras, the hallway cameras, even the goddamn bathroom cameras until I find a connection and the part that I can't connect is who these men are. I have no way of contacting them until All Out Assault like they said. These morons are messing with my promotion and messing with my show!
The crowd cheers and chants “PC”.
Dustin Hart : Even if they plopped Tazz back here without a evidence path to trace, I would drop this investigation but whatever they want, I hope they know this isn't the way to ask this. I represent this company and if I let this criminals basically, get what they want. What example am I setting?
The crowd gives a small pop.
Dustin Hart : Now onto this sticky note. I don't know whether those two masked men allowed me to address this to the public but I don't care. The sticky note says that they will bring Tazz to All Out Assault during their negotiation if I...
The crowd wants to know the stipulation.
Dustin Hart : If I, put on a chicken suit and dance in the middle of this ring.
The crowd reacts loud.
Dustin Hart : I don't even have a chicken suit and this has to add on with my basic duties, plus Tazz's duties. This is unbelievable. Due to this unexpected circumstance, I'm going to have to appoint someone to become temporary GM until further notice. Here comes the general manager!
“Bringing Da Hood 2 U”
JTG bursts out from the curtain and dances his way down the ramp. Hart doesn't appreciate the dance and is perplexed to why JTG is dancing down the ramp and entering the ring. As JTG slides into the ring, he asks for a microphone.
Dustin Hart : -and JTG is not the temporary general manager by the way.
JTG : I know, sorry to interrupt-
Dustin Hart : -for the second week in a row.
JTG : Yes sir and I appreciate your patience-
Dustin Hart : -which is running thinner and thinner when you wrestlers interrupt me-
JTG : -which is why I want to get down to the point. Is it really necessary that I have to fight by Swagger's side for the number one contenders match?
The crowd pops at JTG's weasel-like attitude.
JTG : I'm a do-it-now guy. You give me a match and I will beat whoever you want but I can't hold dead weight. I don't want to lose such a big opportunity that most of the guys in the back can only wish for. Swagger isn't necessary on a winning streak but I ain't either...but at least I won against Carlito on the pilot episode. All I'm saying is that we could have two matches tonight. Mine wouldn't take more than a few minutes with Super Crazy or Jushin Liger.
Dustin Hart : I see. Well my answer is : I can't help you. You see, I'm going back to being the chairman. The duties of a general manager is not my problem. It's this guy's!
Jack Swagger bursts through the curtain and he walks down the ramp. He's in a casual outfit and he wastes no time, getting a microphone before walking up the steel steps and entering the ring.
Dustin Hart : Another person who is not general manager! What do you want Swagger?
As Dustin says that in his cheapest, corniest, most sarcastic and fake, enthusiastic voice ever. The crowd laughs a bit to see that Hart has the gist of what Swagger is going to say even before he puts the microphone to his mouth.
Jack Swagger : I can sense the sarcasm in your words sir, but I'm not going to sugarcoat it. I agree with JTG and I would like to have my own separate match. As a chairman, your word is higher than a general manager and even higher than a temporary general manager. The only thing I don't agree with is with JTG saying that he's carrying dead weight. If anything, JTG is the dead weight. I'm the all-American American and people like JTG aren't even worth spitting on!
JTG gets in Swagger's face and they stare each other down. Dustin Hart splits them apart and begins to speak.
Dustin Hart : -and without further ado and hopefully no more interruptions. The temporary general manager for Apex Road!
“I Can Slap A Tornado”
Dustin Hart claps as Matt Hardy appears on the stage with a suit on, smiling self-satisfied towards JTG and Jack Swagger. Dustin Hart steps back as JTG and Jack Swagger look at Matt Hardy, Dustin Hart and each other.
Matt Hardy : And the answer is no. On with the show!
Matt Hardy walks away and Dustin Hart exits the ring. JTG and Jack Swagger eye each other as Sin Cara is at the top of the ramp. The crowd cheers immensely as this fan favorite runs down the ramp and slides into the ring. JTG and Swagger look at Sin Cara, still shocked but Swagger comes to his senses first and exits the ring. JTG isn't to far to snapping back to earth either. Jinder Mahal appears on the stage as Jack Swagger and JTG walk up the match. The crowd cheers as Mahal enters the ring with Sin Cara.
Amy Dumas : Tough words from Dustin Hart but we just heard that Matt Hardy will be the temporary general manager for tonight! How do you feel Grisham?
Todd Grisham : It's surprising to say the least but the first match of the night will be a tag team match. Sin Cara and Jinder Mahal will face BLK Jeez and Dragon Rojo Jr.
Dragon Rojo Jr. and BLK Jeez walk down the ramp together. BLK Jeez shakes Rojo's hand as they both walk up the steel steps. They stare at their opponents and BLK Jeez smirks. Upon entering the match, the referee calls for the bell.
Sin Cara and Jinder Mahal vs Dragon Rojo Jr. and BLK Jeez
Tag Team Match
The match starts out with Jinder Mahal and BLK Jeez. Jinder and BLK Jeez circle each other. The crowd is on Jinder Mahal and Sin Cara so they start clapping their hands and stomping their feet to help motivate and give adrenaline to this team early. Jinder Mahal then locks up with BLK Jeez and sends him in the corner. Jinder knees BLK Jeez until the referee breaks them up. Jinder backs up and puts up his fighting stance again. BLK Jeez then scoots from the referee and kicks Jinder in the chest. Jinder staggers back and BLK Jeez connects a DDT out of nowhere. The crowd boos as he taunts then BLK Jeez goes to the corner and hits a massive split-legged moonsault then goes to pin Jinder Mahal. 1...2...Hand on the rope! Jinder is still in this! BLK looks at the referee as to why he stopped counting and starts arguing with the referee, completely ignoring the fact that Jinder Mahal is crawling to Sin Cara to make a tag. If it wasn't for his partner shouting and pointing to Jinder, BLK Jeez wouldn't have given up the argument and notice. BLK Jeez grabs the foot of Jinder Mahal and connects a STF! Jinder Mahal tries to escape early but its locked in and he is in the center of the ring so the ropes cannot help him! Mahal is clearly in pain as he is wincing and pounding the canvas. Jinder Mahal is squirming and crawling to the ropes, punishing his body every second he is locked into this hold. Jinder Mahal gets to the ropes and grabs them with both hands to emphasize that he does not want to be locked in a STF anymore. BLK Jeez lets go promptly and goes to the ropes coming back Jinder Mahal goes for a surprise crossbody but BLK Jeez goes for a crossbody and these two collide. Jinder crawls to Sin Cara. BLK Jeez crawls over to Dragon Rojo Jr. Jinder Mahal tags Cara. BLK Jeez tags in Rojo. These two luchadores jump over the top rope and enter the ring. The crowd cheers as the action picks up. Sin Cara attempts to kick Dragon Rojo Jr. but Rojo backs up and grabs Cara's foot. Cara goes for an enzuigiri but Rojo ducks and pushes his foot away and dropkicks him onto his back. Sin Cara hits the canvas and Rojo goes to the top rope in one leap. He goes for a quick leg drop but Sin Cara rolls away. Dragon Rojo screams in pain and Sin Cara pins Dragon Rojo. 1...2 Kick out. Sin Cara gets up and picks him up. Sin Cara throws Dragon to the ropes and goes for a clothesline out the ring by surprise but Dragon Rojo grabs onto the ropes as Sin Cara falls out the ring. Rojo stands on the apron and hits a diving leg drop onto Sin Cara 1! These two are on the ground. 2! 3! 4! Dragon Rojo picks up Sin Cara and slides him into the ring. Dragon Rojo Jr. tags in BLK Jeez and BLK Jeez goes to the top rope. He stands up and taunts Cara for the crowd's reaction. Sin Cara springs up and jumps to the second rope, quickly climbs to the top rope and connects a moonsault side slam then pins BLK Jeez. 1...2...3!
Winner by Pinfall : Sin Cara and Jinder Mahal
Just as soon as these two are ready to celebrate, Dragon Rojo Jr. hits Sin Cara from the back and throws him out the ring. Jinder Mahal and Dragon Rojo Jr. circle each other as BLK Jeez gets to his feet. Both of these two approach Jinder Mahal but Sin Cara runs up the steel steps and jumps on the ropes and flattens both Dragon Rojo and BLK Jeez with a crossbody! Both of those two roll out of the ring. The crowd cheers as Jinder Mahal and Sin Cara stare at each other. This scene fades over to MCMG training in the back. Goto and Yoshi Tatsu appear behind them and they don't notice.
Yoshi Tatsu : Working out?
Both of the Motor City Machine Guns get up and turn to see their rivals. They stare each other down for a long moment.
Alex Shelley : We're working out. I see your stalking us.
Goto : Cute.
Shelley : Thanks. What are you doing watching us?
Yoshi Tatsu : One of us wants to challenge you tonight. Which one of you wants to man up?
Chris Sabin : Which one of you want to man up?
Goto : I will.
Shelley : I will too then.
Matt Hardy walks past them.
Sabin : Hey, Matt!
Matt Hardy stops walking and turns around.
Matt Hardy : What's up?
Yoshi Tatsu : Goto wants to challenge Alex Shelley tonight.

The crowd stays silent, fearing the obvious.
Matt Hardy : I recently have gotten word from the board of directors before walking down that ramp and walking into the ring that the board...wants to rotate the positions of the temporary general manager.

Sabin coughs and lies on the floor with his arms wrapped around his chest. Yoshi Tatsu then goes to pick up Chris Sabin again but Sabin rolls out of the ring and onto the apron. Yoshi Tatsu then looks at Goto and they nod at each other. Yoshi Tatsu then rushes at Sabin and spears him into the crowd barrier. Goto then slaps Alex Shelley before kicking him in the gut and connecting a wrist-clutch Olympic Slam which he calls the Go To Heaven! Shelley is out as Yoshi Tatsu goes to the top rope. Yoshi poses for the crowd before diving off and connecting a top-rope spinning heel kick which nearly cracks Shelley's skull open! 1! Everyone is grounded. 2! 3! 4! 5! 6! Tatsu crawls over to Chris Sabin and gets an arm over him. 1...2...Kick out!
Yoshi Tatsu is shocked! The crowd is shocked! People watching all over may be shocked! Yoshi Tatsu is most likely wondering what he has to do to keep his opponent down for the three count. Chris Sabin rolls out onto the apron and uses it to pull himself up. He looks at the crowd and poses as Yoshi Tatsu stands up. Chris Sabin jumps on the ropes and connects a springboard tornado DDT! Chris Sabin is now laid out. Tatsu is laid out and bloodied! Chris Sabin crawls over to Tatsu but Yoshi Tatsu is crawling to the turnbuckle. The referee then turns his attention to Sabin who cannot see and Sabin reacts by sending the referee out of the ring! The referee has no choice but to ring the bell in favor of Yoshi Tatsu!
Winner by Disqualification : Yoshi Tatsu
Chris Sabin hears the bell ring and sees the referee on the floor. Obviously seeing that Tatsu was not the man going over the ropes, he gets extremely frustrated as Yoshi is already out of the ring, most likely halfway through the crowd. Sabin kicks the turnbuckle then lies his head on the turnbuckle.
Todd Grisham : Horrible upset for Chris Sabin but nonetheless, onwards with the show. One of the matches scheduled for tonight is the main event, Matt Hardy will face KENTA in a no holds barred match, according to the general manager of tonight, Paul London.
Amy Dumas : Also tonight, Matt Hardy combined two steaming feuds into one explosive tag match! John Morrison and Carlito will face Adam Cole and Brad Maddox.
Todd Grisham : Yes and up next, Chris Rayne vs Joey LeBell. Who knows what match they will be in? These two rookies graduated from Pinnacle Wrestling's development territory. Chris Rayne is also the brother of Miss Gorgeous, also known as Madison Rayne. LeBell is in the television division and Paul London has asked both of these men which number and letter they picked for the crowd. If you may excuse me, I must go find out our match type.
Todd Grisham picks up an index card and walks around ringside.
Todd Grisham : Do we have an N6 in the house?
A person in the back runs down the staircase and approaches Todd. Todd gives the man the index card.
Grisham : Pick one of the three choices.
Man : Easy, A. Parking lot brawl!
Todd : You all heard it folks! Coming up soon, LeBell will face Rayne in a parking lot brawl.
The scene fades Susan Brooke.
Susan Brooke : Hello! Hello! Hello Pinnacle Combat, I am Susan Brooke. My guest tonight is Carlito!
Carlito steps into the shot.
Susan Brooke : Hey Carlito, few questions for you tonight. What is your opinion on John Morrison, your tag team partner for tonight's match?
Carlito : John Morrison? He's ok. A little too cocky but he reminds me of my days back “en mi papa's” promotion. He's just a background guy in this match. I'm coming out this a winner and Morrison isn't preventing this.
Brooke : What is your plans in this match?
Carlito : Susan. I'm going out there and breaking bones. I'm Carlito. I don't need a plan.
Brooke : Final question. Going up against Sin Cara for the North American challenge must be a challenge?
Carlito : Not at all. Sin Cara is quick but “mucho” weak. He's not worth the fight. Watch tonight, this is only half of what I am going to do to Sin Cara.
Carlito walks away as the scene fades to a parking lot brawl. The referee announces that the match begins now.
Chris Rayne w/ Miss Gorgeous vs Joey LeBell
Parking Lot Brawl
Joey LeBell and Chris Rayne will be facing each other in a parking lot brawl! Joey LeBell looks at Chris Rayne then blows a kiss at Miss Gorgeous also known as Chris Rayne's sister, who was known as Madison Rayne in TNA. Rayne then rushes Joey LeBell and spears him into a car door! Chris Rayne then opens the car door and takes out a crowbar. Joey LeBell gets up and turns around then gets hit with the crowbar! The crowd in the arena are cheering for Rayne as Joey LeBell is getting what he deserves. Chris Rayne then picks up Joey LeBell but LeBell takes the crowbar and swings it at the gut of Rayne. Joey LeBell then pushes Chris Rayne into the space between the open car door and the car's body. Joey LeBell then kicks the car door which swings onto Chris Rayne's shoulder and bicep! Chris Rayne falls to the floor while Joey LeBell stomps on Chris Rayne. Miss Gorgeous tries to pull Joey LeBell off of Chris Rayne and LeBell looks at Miss Gorgeous. She stands her ground and pushes him back. LeBell then lifts Miss Gorgeous onto his shoulders and goes to the hood of the car. Miss Gorgeous is trying to get out of the hold. Chris Rayne then swings the crowbar into the gut of Joey LeBell. He lets go of Miss Gorgeous and holds his stomach. Chris Rayne then sees a trash can and picks it up. Joey LeBell sees him pick it up and takes Chris Rayne's sister as hostage. He wraps one arm around her which stops Rayne in his tracks. Rayne then puts the trash can down as his sister back kicks LeBell between his legs causing LeBell to let her go and drop to one knee. Chris Rayne then picks up the garbage can and dumps a load of trash onto the peer rookie! Rayne then grabs Joey by the throat then grabs LeBell with his other hand. He lifts him up for a two-handed chokeslam but LeBell kicks Rayne in the gut and lifting him on his shoulders then performing a firemans carry takedown onto the windshield of the car! The referee counts to 10 then rings the bell!
Winner by Knockout : Joey LeBell
Joey LeBell stumbles away and can be heard shouting, “This isn't over!”. The scene fades to Adam Cole in his locker room. Just then, John Morrison sits beside him.
John Morrison : Did you see that match out there?
Adam Cole : I sure did. What are you doing here?
John Morrison : I got a sneak look at the index cards and I want to warn you that all three choices are going to destroy you and further prove my point that I will be the inaugural television champion. Not you.
Adam Cole : [while smirking] Very funny. But I could end your chances of making it to All Out Assault with any choice the gullible and foolish crowd gives me.
John Morrison : Oh yeah? Well lets see tonight.
John Morrison gets up.
John Morrison : ...and by the way, my locker room is better.
Adam Cole smirks at first before turning worried and catching up with Morrison.
Cole : Show me!
The scene fades to KENTA walking down the hallway backstage without Goto nor Tatsu. Matt Hardy comes out a door.
Matt Hardy : Where's your crew?
KENTA : Confidential.
Matt Hardy : You are so vulnerable. Your like one of those snotty teenage movie stars. Don't hide behind your security.
KENTA : Those are my family. I give them the utmost respect.
Matt Hardy : The utmost bullsh-t!
The crowd cheers. KENTA stares at Hardy and bumps past him, walking away. Hardy laughs a bit before the scene fading back to Britani Knight in the ring. As Zexuis makes her way down the ramp, the commentators talk.
Todd : These rivalries are getting huge! This is our women's division's match. These two have heat behind them. Zexuis's long time best friend, Pandora was badly hurt last week because of Britani Knight and her arrogance. With the added shyness and defenselessness of Pandora, Zexuis is entering this match with fury in her strategy.
By this time, Zexuis is entering the ring. The referee is getting ready to ring the bell.
Britani Knight vs Zexuis
The referee rings. Britani Knight and Zexuis lock up. Britani gets the advantage and throws Zexuis to the corner. She rushes at the corner and goes for a shining wizard but Zexuis avoids it and Britani Knight crumples in the corner! Zexuis runs to the ropes and bounces back then hits a clothesline. Britani Knight goes down and Zexuis connects a leg drop, trying to keep for grounded. Zexuis then picks her up from behind and goes for a back suplex but Britani lands on her feet. As Zexuis turns around, Britani Knight connects a headbutt then an uppercut and connects a discus elbow. Zexuis then goes to pin Britani Knight. 1...2...Kick out from Britani! Britani then picks up Zexuis and throws her to the ropes and then connects with a side kick. Zexuis staggers into the corner. Britani tries to perform a shining wizard which would have ended the match, but Zexuis avoids the attack and takes the advantage to connect a neckbreaker. Zexuis pins Britani Knight. 1...2...Kick out again from Britani Knight! Zexuis then throws her towards the ropes and upon return, Britani ducks a clothesline from Zexuis and bounces off the ropes again but Zexuis connects a sit-out spinebuster. Zexuis then goes to the second rope. As Britani Knight gets to a vertical base, Zexuis dives off but Britani Knight executes a jumping cutter. Britani then pins Zexuis. 1...2...Kick out! Britani locks in a body scissors and promptly, Alicia Fox's theme music is head throughout the arena. Britani Knight releases her grip and stands up. As she waits for Alicia Fox to come out, Zexuis is now recovering and the crowd notices. A long moment after, the theme music cuts off and immediately Zexuis pins Britani Knight with a schoolboy pin. 1...2...3!
Winner by Pinfall : Zexuis
Zexuis celebrates as Pandora is seen on top of the stage. Zexuis rolls out the ring and runs up the ramp. Pandora runs down the ramp and both of them hug tightly. They keep hugging until the scene fades away to David Otunga and Titus O'Neil walking down the ramp frustrated. Titus O'Neil kicks the temporary general manager's door open and both of these men walk up to the desk of Paul London. Paul London turns his office chair around and is seen speaking on the phone.
Paul London : I have the main office now! Wait honey, two males burst through my door and probably want to speak with their temporary general manager.
London hangs up.
David Otunga : I want to be on the show more often.
Titus O'Neil : So do I.
Paul London has already zoned out, spinning in his chair. Titus walks around his desk and stops his chair.
Titus O'Neil : Can you please give us a match?
London : Sure. Next week, you two will face...
London spins around in his chair for a second before he gets a good idea.
London : Brodus Clay and Super Crazy!
David Otunga : Thank you. Let's go Titus.
The scene fades from Titus O'Neil and David Otunga walking away to a video of a preview All Out Assault.
Amy Dumas : Brad Maddox approached Carlito and these two had fought inside and out of the ring. Carlito has not taken liking to the youngster and the Caribbean has developed quite a rivalry with the kid. The rivalry between Morrison and Cole traces back to the first show, these two have bickered over everything and then some. Both had appeared in a match before. Morrison and Carlito are also both number one contenders. John Morrison is the number one contender for the television championship. Carlito is the number one contender for the North American championship. Also during the video, Todd Grisham had already asked a crowd member for their opinion on the next match.
John Morrison and Carlito vs Adam Cole and Brad Maddox
Tornado Elimination No DQ Match
As the referee rings the bell, this tornado no disqualification elimination tag team match begins. John Morrison instantly attacks Adam Cole and Brad Maddox immediately attacks Carlito. Morrison throws Adam Cole out of the ring but Cole hangs onto the apron and John Morrison goes for a punch and swings a little too hard as Cole ducks, avoiding the punch and then uses the ropes to kick John Morrison in the back of his head. Meanwhile, Maddox and Carlito trade punches. The crowd pops appropriately for who punches who. Brad Maddox gets the advantage and Irish whips Carlito to the corner. Maddox then approaches the Caribbean and attempts to weaken Carlito with punches to the head and gut. Adam Cole goes to the top rope and waits for John Morrison to turn around and as he executes a diving crossbody. Morrison gets flattened as Adam Cole pins John. The referee counts. 1...2! Maddox turns around to help Adam Cole. Cole picks up John Morrison and both of them lock in a double suplex! They flip Morrison over and land a suplex. Adam Cole then connects with elbow drop. Adam Cole goes for a pin. 1...2...Pin broken by Carlito! Brad Maddox stomps on Carlito while he is grounded and eventually Adam Cole joins in. They stomp on Carlito and with that distraction, John Morrison rolls out the ring and searches under the ring. Adam Cole picks up Carlito and connects a scoop brainbuster which he calls the “Cole-ateral”. Morrison gets a steel chair from under the ring then slides back into the ring. Brad Maddox rushes at Morrison and gets hit in the gut with the steel chair. Maddox doubles over as Adam Cole tries to avenge Carlito but Morrison trips Adam Cole over the ropes and as he holds onto the ropes and pulls himself onto the apron, John Morrison swings the chair on Adam Cole's back and Cole goes flying and colliding onto the crowd barrier. Maddox turns Morrison around and lands a double-knee facebuster with the aid of a steel chair. Morrison literally flies in the air and hits the turnbuckle before falling down. Morrison looks at Carlito and shakes his hand proudly. This scene fades to a video of last week's main event.

The referee rings the bell and this no holds barred match is underway. Just as soon as the bell rings, the lights go out. The crowd is on their feet as footsteps are heard. As the lights go back on, KENTA is standing over Matt Hardy while Yoshi Tatsu and Goto are knelt down, looking at Matt Hardy. Louder sounds of hustling and tussling can be heard. As the lights come back on, Jimmy Uso, Jey Uso, Goto, Yoshi Tatsu, Gangrel and Kevin Thorn are gone! Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin had been the victim of a bloodbath! Paul London is sitting, leaning on the announcer's table. By this time Matt Hardy and KENTA are in the ring, Hardy on one knee, KENTA leaning on the turnbuckle. Hardy gets up and poses for the crowd. KENTA and Hardy are now standing up. Re: Pinnacle Combat :The Dark Horse Of Revolution
If you've watched a full show of Apex Road, you would have seen or would have been notified of a group of three men who currently is a destructive force in the Pinnacle Combat roster. These three men are to be known as the Shinjiketo. The three men are KENTA, Yoshi Tatsu and Goto. These men have ambushed the big names such as Matt Hardy, Paul London and the Motor City Machine Guns. These three men have not told their purpose for forming their group but this did not stop the Pinnacle Combat roster from fighting back. The first time the Shinjiketo were seen together were post-match for KENTA vs Paul London on Apex Road 1. Paul London was already bloodied from the encounter. Yoshi Tatsu and Goto appeared to be fighting against KENTA until they helped KENTA in his assault on London! These men did not only go after the crowd favorites. Just a couple weeks ago, what started out as a unintentional bump from Adam Cole to Goto turned into a drenching humiliation. The Shinjiketo ambushed Cole and poured, what was to be soda, onto him. This was just the start of the Shinjiketo's actions. Fortunately, three men are going to war with this destructive three-man crew: Alex Shelley, Chris Sabin and Paul London.
Chris Sabin and Alex Shelley were available for comment. “KENTA is a weakling and it showed. The Motor City Machine Guns were the true winners of both matches. They can't resort to dirty tactics in a elimination match because you can't get away with it three times. The referees aren't stupid. Goto and Tatsu are either brainwashed, scared or genuinely stupid. KENTA doesn't fight. He sends those two little targets to fight for him. Look back on our matches with him, we dominated them. All Out Assault is going to be the easiest debut PPV win ever.” emphasized Alex Shelley. “Goto is a little weasel that you can never get a good grip on to beat up, either he has a narrow escape or the other two save him. These guys are the most cowardly boys I have ever seen in my life. The Shinjiketo ends at All Out Assault. No question.” stated Chris Sabin. On a factual note, KENTA is a champion. In fact, in theory, KENTA holds the star power in the group being well known in both North America and in Japan. Yoshi Tatsu is, again in theory, more of a star in North America than in Japan. Goto, also in theory, on the contrary, is more of a star in Japan than in North America. At All Out Assault, expect a good brawl because this feud is boiling!
Highlight Fued Of The Month : Adam Cole vs John Morrison
The highlight rivalry of the month is Adam Cole vs John Morrison. This feud has been boiling since Apex Road 1. Only Cole and Morrsion know how this feud started up but none wanted to comment on how this confrontation started. The cameras caught the middle of the confrontation, Adam Cole and John Morrison were arguing about who is more attractive until they asked for a female's opinion, in this case, Britani Knight. Knight would then go on to say that John Morrison is the more attractive one and John Morrison's special prize? A super kick to the face from Adam Cole. Ever since that moment, these two have been in fierce rivalry and always try to top each other. These two finally faced each other in a ladder match on Apex Road 3! It was a great match, full of twists and turns. In fact, television division wrestler, Super Crazy inserted himself into the match. Just as Morrison won that encounter, that wasn't the end of it. The rivalry of Adam Cole and John Morrison diffused into another rivalry: Brad Maddox and Carlito's! The team of Carlito and John Morrison would go on to face Brad Maddox and Adam Cole in an elimination tornado no disqualification match and Carlito and John Morrison walked away with a victory. Some would say Morrison has the upper advantage. Some would say Adam Cole has the upper advantage. Find out if John Morrison wins the television championship at All Out Assault.
Rookie Spotlight 2013
Joey LeBell. This rookie grew up in Miami, Florida. “It was hot. It was hot. It was hot! I was at the beach all the time when I wasn't at home, my job or training.” The crowd has given this rookie quite a reaction. In fact, Joey LeBell is going to be competing for the Television Championship at All Out Assault, making him the first rookie to receive a title shot. Joey LeBell has a high-flying technique with a significant amount of chain wrestling and occasional illegal move attempts. “I wanted to become a wrestler ever since I seen Wrestlemania. You see, my uncle came over and he forced me to see Wrestlemania. When I went, I was amazed at the atmosphere of Wrestlemania.” Stated Joey LeBell. “Before working in Pinnacle Combat, I worked at Subway actually. It wasn't my cup of tea and even then I was training to become a professional wrestler. After hours, I'd only have x amount of time to train.” Joey LeBell does not have any previous family members who have a professional wrestling background. When Susan Brooke, head interviewer, asked Joey LeBell's thoughts on his chances of winning the permanent contract he responded, “I'm not worried about losing. I'm not worried about my competition. I'm not worried about anything to do with this contract match. I know if I set my mind towards the day that I have to compete with Chris Rayne and Kytakauki. I'm Joey LeBell. The name itself oozes perfectness. Besides, look at the facts, I defeated Kytakauki to become the number one contender for the television championship. These rookies have no idea what they are dealing with.” Little known fact, Joey LeBell is also a surfer.
Kytakauki. This potential-filled rookie was born in Toyokawa, Aichi, Japan. A very simple and generous man would be used to describe this rookie. Kytakauki did not need many items in his life to be happy according to him. “Toyokawa is so rich in culture, history and agriculture. Plus it was not so big...about the same amount of people in Tallahassee. But the city was different, little crime. Everyone practically was a friend. It was like a caged town. Everything was and is the same as I grew up...I wanted to be a wrestler because I love the sport. I actually used to compete in local amateur wrestling competitions in the United States and puroresu-like wrestling matches in Japan. I have a competitve attitude compressed in me.” Kytakauki's wrestling style is very slow paced and with hard-hitting, big impact moves. He lost his debut tv match to rookie Joey LeBell but don't expect that to be the last of Kytakauki. He will be competing in more matches later that day. Before wrestling, he used to farm like his father and brothers. His older brother has professional background experience. Kytakauki is also married to America-born, Natalie Wright. When Susan Brooke asked Kytakauki about his thoughts on his chances of winning the contract at The Settlement in April, he responded, “I think the others deserve it as much as I do. When I get into that ring in April, its either me or them. I don't have to be pinned to lose either. All I know is at The Settlement, no one is walking about without the bruises to show that they faced a man who wants that contract more than anything else.”
Chris Rayne. Many people start to recognize him as the sister of Ashley Cabot, better known as Madison Rayne. Little known fact, Madison Rayne does work in Pinnacle Combat as Miss Gorgeous. Chris Rayne is also a rookie in Pinnacle Combat who wasn't afraid to give his story. “At fifteen, I had to support for my older sister and my mother because my father was arrested for domestic abuse. It was hard living on the poverty side of Ohio, especially when it got cold. I worked four jobs throughout my teen years: a lumberjack, a convenience store cashier, an occasional furniture mover and a professional wrestler. In those teen years, I even risked my health and life in bare-knuckle underground brawls for grocery money. This built the character that I am.” Chris Rayne is more of a brawler than a technical type of person and he doesn't have any family members who were in the professional wrestling industry. “I came into wrestling because I wanted to wrestle alongside my sister. Plus I get paid to bash skulls.” Comically said by Rayne. We (the interviewing team) asked the locker room about the potential in Chris Rayne and Matt Hardy would say, “This man is strictly business. There is no way that Pinnacle Combat will be overlooking him. He may look like an average Joe but he is not even close. Trust me, Chris Rayne will be big.” When we asked Rayne on his comments on his match at The Settlement, he replied “There is nothing that I want more then this contract. Nothing. I am happy with my current life. My home. My family. That contract bonds everything. Without that contract, its back on a job search. If you think what I did to Sin Cara was bad, then you haven't seen nothing yet.”

Who says the general manager's position is easy? Sure, with all the creative power and air time you'd think that being a general manager is a dream. Not here. Not in Pinnacle Combat : Apex Road. After the fatal four way number one contendership main event that took place on Apex Road 2 which consisted of JTG, KENTA, Jack Swagger and Paul London, the cameras abruptly cut to two masked en ambushing Tazz, throwing him into a car and driving away. No one knows who these masked men are but one thing is for sure, they will be at All Out Assault! “I do think that we should rescue Tazz but his absence hasn't disrupted the flow of Apex Road...or at least not too much.” stated Todd Grisham. “I just liked being GM.” Comically said by Matt Hardy, former temporary general manager. Dustin Hart, chairman, was not available to comment but we can assure you that based on his emotion on television, his actions on Apex Road and the situation supported off of empathy, Hart is outraged with what has happened on Apex Road 2. Rumors say that the masked men were recently working for other highly popular promotions in the wrestling industry. The masked men did not say that they are going to unmask but the Pinnacle Combat's hub of social networking says otherwise. Some have gone on to say that someone will try to unmask him. Where is Tazz now? No one knows. He is in an anonymous location. The purpose of Tazz's abduction, according to the two masked men, is for the two masked men to hear Hart out. The men did not reveal the offer but whatever it is, a simple no will not end it there. Tune into All Out Assault to find out who these men are and their demands.
