Re: The Cult Presents - WWE 2011 - Entertainment Personified
Just a few brief thoughts ...
Kicking off with a Survivor Series match was expected and Iím glad itís this one you went for. How dare you eliminate Yoshi Tatsu first! Quick elimination for Kidd, getting the teams even once more, good way to create an even playing field. Not sure about Sin Cara being eliminated by a ten count out, just seems cheap to me but whatever, the Wasteland through the table would have been a big moment. I was quite shocked at Orton was eliminated so soon, if it was me I would have had him be one of the last to be eliminated. Iím actually quite surprised by the result of this match, Masters being one of the Survivorís was certainly interesting. Solid match to kick things off, even if I did disagree with the order of the eliminations.
Either one of these teams couldíve won and took on the tag team champions, Usoís will be a solid contender for the championships, very underutilized in real life. I honestly did not expect Mysterio be Christianís opponent, thought for sure itíd be Kane or Morrison so good way to show the unpredictability that youíll bring to this thread. Wouldíve been a great match to read if it was in full, but aside from that, Brodus Clay shocked me because I thought heíd debut on Raw. Brutal way to debut him, and Christian slapping Teddy was a good way to say good bye, surprised he would accept losing and leaving though. Ah, now I get my answer why he would be, should be a solid edition to Raw.
Thank god you had Mark Henry win the match, heís much better as champion compared to Show. Interesting that Triple H thought heíd get a place in team Punk, Iím not a fan of HHH clamouring to get onto the team, almost seems weak to see him practically beg to get on the team. Curt Hawkins?? Well that was a lacklustre choice, Iíd rather have Triple H be on the team or even an injured Ryder compared to Hawkins. I think someone is announced to be a on a team like this, it should be someone huge, and I was disappointed that Hawkins only lasted a few minutes, just seems like a waste of spot. Iím not even sure DQís can happen in these matches can they?? I found the flow of the ending as Triple H interfered, as it seemed like all he did was attack Nash for a bit then leave, and then even though Punk and HHH argued, it went back to normal really quickly with the Elbow Drop. Expected a CM Punk win but was disappointed in this match. As for the main event, Del Rio still needs that convincing win, but The Rock costing Cena the match continues the bad blood and good to see a more ruthless Cena.
On a whole, I had some gripes about this show, some of it felt off. I would have liked to have seen some more description for the matches, hopefully youíll show you can do well when you kick off the full shows. Just thought Iíd give some brief thoughts, good luck with the rest of this thread, hoping it sticks for you.
