WWE: Road To WM30

DGENERATION NEXUS presents WWE: The Road To WrestleMania 30

Start Date: Hell In A Cell (October 28, 2012)
End Date: WrestleMania 30

Notes

- At the beginning of my BTB, the old "supershow" format of Raw and SmackDown is in play. This does change however as the storylines progress.

- Raw and SmackDown are both 2-hour shows (unless otherwise stated), and get full write-ups. Main Event is a 1-hour show and features quick results and notes on any promos or developments. Superstars is just quick results.

- At present I do not write for the Divas division. This may change as my BTB progresses, but at the moment the only Divas in my BTB are intertwined with male roster members (ie. AJ Lee).

- I started writing this thing 6 months ago, I like to feel my ability to write shows has improved over time. So if you take a look at Hell In A Cell and don't like what you see, please give it a couple more shows.

Hell In A Cell – 28/10/12

Pre-Show:

A brief video package on the various feuds heading into Hell In A Cell airs before the live camera pans the arena to the sound of Josh Matthews & Scott Stanford welcoming viewers to the Hell In A Cell pre-show. John Cena's music hits to a generally positive reaction from the crowd, and Cena appears on stage. The announcers re-cap Cena's recent elbow injury and note he isn't on the card tonight for the first time since December 2011.

Cena takes a mic and tells the crowd he is here to publicly deny any kind of wrongdoing with regard to Vickie Guerrero's allegations that Cena and AJ had an inappropriate relationship while AJ was Raw GM. Cena then notes he has been medically cleared to compete following his elbow injury, and tells the live crowd he is looking forward to getting back in the ring. He goes to leave, but Vickie Guererro appears to a chorus of boos from the crowd.

Guerrero tells Cena he has no business been in Atlanta tonight, and says he can't help but show his face where it's not wanted. Cena retorts that if it wasn't for his elbow injury, it would have been him stepping inside Hell In A Cell with CM Punk tonight. Vickie chuckles to herself, “John, if you're so desperate to step inside the Cell tonight, then you will...” The crowd cheers, Cenna looks stunned as the announcers ask if Guerrero has just made the main event a triple threat match. Vickie continues, “Hold your horses John. You will step inside Hell In A Cell tonight... as special guest referee.”

Vickie exits as Cena sells frustration. The announcers note that Vickie is using her position of power to toy with Cena, offering him a title match and then taking it away. Cena tells the fans he'll see them inside the cell, and his music plays as the camera re-focuses on the announcers. Matthews and Stanford run down the card, noting the WWE Championship match now has John Cena as special referee. They then feed to a video package on Big Show's recent dominance.

Backstage, the camera is on Booker T, who is speaking with Justin Gabriel. Booker congratulates Gabriel on defeating Antonio Cesaro earlier in the week, and tells him his reward is a United States Championship match tonight.

The camera is back on the announcers, who recap the news that John Cena has been named as special guest referee in the main event tonight. They run down the rest of the Hell In A Cell card, revealing a bonus match – Rey Mysterio & Sin Cara vs Prime Time Players in a #1 contendership match. The announcers thank fans for tuning into the pre-show, and urge fans to order Hell In A Cell.

Live Show:

A video package opens Hell In A Cell. A voice-over narrates over classic images from past Hell In A Cell matches, before transitioning into a feature on the recent feud between CM Punk and Ryback. The video plays up Ryback's undefeated streak, John Cena's injury and Punk's lengthy title reign.

Live in the arena, a firework display hits as JR, Michael Cole and JBL welcome fans to Hell In A Cell. They run down the feature matches, before Randy Orton's music hits to a good reaction from the crowd. As Orton makes his entrance, Alberto Del Rio jumps him from behind. Del Rio throws Orton into the stairs and smashes his arm on the ringpost. Del Rio throws Orton into the ring. The referee asks Orton if he wants to start the match, and despite his obvious injuries he stands and the match begins.

In a good-paced opener, Orton fights valiantly but Del Rio eventually capitalises on the arm injury and applies the Cross Arm Breaker mid-ring. Orton taps, which JBL calls a wise decision. Del Rio mocks Orton's victory pose as JR puts over the ruthless nature of Del Rio's attack.

Alberto Del Rio def. Randy Orton

The camera transitions backstage, where Josh Matthews has John Cena for an interview. Cena says he is shocked at been named Special Guest Referee for the main event tonight, and he will find it hard not to lay hands on CM Punk. But he vows to call it down the middle. A laugh is heard in the background, before Wade Barrett interrupts. He reminds Cena of when he was referee for his match against Randy Orton in 2010, which resulted in him joining the Nexus. Barrett concludes that bad things happen to John Cena when he pulls on a referee shirt. Booker T overhears Cena and Barrett arguing, and asks Barrett what he's doing here when he's not on the card. Before Barrett has time to answer, Booker announces that “as we are in Atlanta, WCW town, I might just give one of my old friends a call and put you in the ring with him right here tonight... sucka!” Barrett seems unmoved by the announcement, smirking at Booker.

Back live in the arena, Justin Roberts announces that the following is a #1 contendership match. Rey Mysterio's music hits to a good reaction from the crowd, before Sin Cara joins him in the ring. The Prime Time Players are out as their opponents. Cole notes the winners of this match will have a shot at the Tag Team Championships, which will be defended later in the night.

The Prime Time Players dominate the majority of the match before Mysterio gets the hot tag. Rey and Cara clear house with an array of high-flying moves. Rey connects with the 619 on Young and picks up the victory with a Frog Splash. JBL praises both teams for the quality of the match, saying the Players will be back in contention soon enough.

Rey Mysterio & Sin Cara def. Prime Time Players to become #1 contenders for the Tag Team Championships.

The camera focuses on the announcers who reset the show. They argue over who will emerge WWE Champion tonight, before Cole transitions into discussing the United States Championship. They feed to footage of Justin Gabriel getting a clean win over Antonio Cesaro last Monday on Raw, and then replay the pre-show discussion where Booker granted Gabriel a championship opportunity tonight.

Antonio Cesaro's music hits first, and he cuts a heel promo on the Atlanta crowd. He says he is the champion of America, and as such the people of America should bow down to him. Gabriel interrupts his promo and enters the ring.

An even match in the early-going, Gabriel looks to be taking advantage. He goes for a springboard moonsault, but Cesaro connects with an uppercut and follows up with the Neutraliser for the clean win.

Antonio Cesaro def. Justin Gabriel to retain the United States Championship.

Backstage, Josh Matthews has former Intercontinental Champion The Miz for an interview. They replay Miz losing the title to Kofi Kingston on Main Event, and Kofi knocking Miz out with Trouble In Paradise on Raw. Miz says that kick was the best thing that ever happened to him, it woke him up and now he knows where he was going wrong before. He vows to regain his Intercontinental Championship tonight, and to become the longest reigning Intercontinental Champion in history. Back live, Kofi's music hits first as Justin Roberts declares the match for the Intercontinental Championship. The announcers note Kofi is looking to take the next step in his career, but he needs to overcome a former WrestleMania main-eventer and WWE Champion tonight to do that. Miz hits the ring.

The match plays out with Kofi constantly looking for Trouble In Paradise, but Miz finding ways to avoid it. After 20 minutes of good action, Kofi finally nails TIP and gets a big pop from the crowd. To Kofi's korror, Miz kicks out at 2! The announcers can't believe it, nor can Kofi. Minutes later, Kofi goes for his springboard splash from the top rope but Miz avoids contact. He follows up with the Skull Crushing Finale. Kofi kicks out at 2! The crowd is hot for the match, but Miz keeps his composure. He stalks Kofi as he gets back to his feet, and immediately hits another SCF on Kofi. Miz doesn't go for the pin though, he picks up Kofi and nails a third SCF. Again, no cover, Miz picks Kofi up and nails his finisher again. JBL praises Miz going for kill as he scores the pin over a knocked out Kingston.

The Miz def. Kofi Kingston to win the Intercontinental Championship

Post-match, Miz hits one more finisher for good measure as he is showered with boos from the crowd. As Miz celebrates, the announcers transition to a video package summarising the Tag Team Championship tournament won by Rhodes Scholars.

Backstage, the roaming camera captures Daniel Bryan and Kane arguing over whose entrance music to enter to. Kane wins the argument by hitting his pyro, and Team Hell No make their way to ring, still arguing. Rhodes Scholars' music interrupts their arguing, and Damien Sandow says their constant bickering is not the behaviour of a champion. He says Rhodes Scholars will win the Tag Team Championships “for the benefit of each and every one of you... you're welcome”.

The match is fairly even for the majority of the contest, despite Kane and Bryan arguing more than usual. The ending comes when Bryan tries to land a missile dropkick on Sandow, but he moves and Bryan inadvertently connects on Kane. Rhodes throws Bryan out of the ring, Sandow hits his finisher on Kane and gets the 3!

Rhodes Scholars def. Team Hell No to win the Tag Team Championships

Rhodes Scholars quickly retreat up the ramp with their newly won titles. Back in the ring, Bryan tries to calm an angry Kane. The crowd tells them to hug it out. Bryan goes for the hug, but Kane picks up Bryan and drops him with a Tombstone. Kane is furious, he hits his pyro and exits the ring. JBL quips that “Dr Shelby won't be able to fix this.”

Backstage, Zack Ryder and Santino Marella are singing Highway To Hell on a karaoke machine. 3MB walk past laughing, and Heath Slater calls them terrible singers. An argument breaks out, which soon turns into a brawl. 3MB get the upper-hand and eventually leave Ryder and Marella laid out on the floor.

In the arena, Wade Barrett's music hits and the announcers feed to a replay of earlier in the night, where Booker T told Barrett he would be facing one of his old WCW colleagues tonight. Wade enters the ring and takes a mic. He heels on the Atlanta crowd, saying there's a reason WCW went out of business, and it doesn't matter who his opponent is because they will fall victim to the Barrett Barage.

After a short wait, a siren bellows through the arena! The Atlanta crowd pops as Scott Steiner comes through the curtain. The announcers sell excitement that former WCW Champion Steiner is in action tonight, before running through his past achievements. Steiner poses on the ramp before charging the ring and jumping Barrett.

Steiner gets in his signature spots, including an impressive Frankensteiner which gets another big pop out of the hot crowd. Barrett makes the comeback by hitting Winds Of Change and following up with his finisher for the clean win.

Wade Barrett def. Scott Steiner

JR notes this could be a landmark victory for Barrett, who has defeated a former WCW Champion in a match he had no time to prepare for. As Barrett exits the ring, the camera goes back to the announcers. They note the World Heavweight Championship match is next, then feed to a video package on the Show/Sheamus feud.

Back live, Justin Roberts announces the following is for the World Heavyweight Championship before Big Show makes his confident entrance. The announcers recap his recent dominance, before Sheamus enters. JR notes Sheamus has held the title since WrestleMania, but this is his toughest test to date.

Show and Sheamus go back and forth in an epic fight. Sheamus fails with several attempts at the Brogue Kick, but finally connects which gets a pop from the crowd. Sheamus goes for the cover, but Show powers out at 2! Sheamus sells shock, and signals for a second Brogue. As Sheamus makes his run-up, Show lands a massive WMD punch and scores the 3.

Big Show def. Sheamus to win the World Heavyweight Championship

The announcers sell shock that Show kicked out of the Brogue Kick, before asking who will be able to stop Show now he has the title. Show poses with the belt as Sheamus remains knocked out mid-ring.

Backstage, CM Punk is shown watching Show's celebration on a monitor. Matt Stryker interrupts Punk and asks for his opinion on John Cena refereeing his match tonight. Before he can answer, Paul Heyman interrupts. He says it's a disgrace that a man who has failed to beat CM Punk on numerous occasions is now put in a position where he can cost Punk the title at any minute. He says Hell In A Cell needs an experienced referee, not a man who can't stay out of the spotlight. Punk interjects that he is the best in the world, and he will walk out of the Cell with his championship.

Back in the arena, 3MB are in the ring. JR notes Booker T has ordered a singles match after their earlier altercations. Zack Ryder's music hits, he makes his way to ring ring with Santino, who are both selling the effects of their beat-down.

Slater dominates the short match before Ryder makes the comeback and lands the Rough Ryder to score the win.

Zack Ryder def. Heath Slater

Drew McIntyre and Jinder Mahal try to jump Ryder post-match, but Santino makes the save. Cobras all round as the faces clear the ring. Team CoBro celebrate before the announcers note it's main event time. They feed to a video package:
  1. CM Punk is approaching 1 year as WWE Champion.
  2. He retained the title in controversial circumstances at Night Of Champions.
  3. Cena's injury means he can't get his rematch, Ryback is named as his replacement by Vince McMahon.
  4. Ryback is undefeated, and hit Shell Shock on Punk to close Raw on Monday.
  5. Can CM Punk find a way to end Ryback's undefeated streak and move closer to one year as champion, or will Ryback's dominance continue?

Back live, the Cell is been lowered and the crowd is excited. John Cena's music hits and he hits the ring in his referee shirt. JBL asks how Cena feels not wrestling the main event of a pay-per-view for the first time this year, and wonders if Heyman was right and he can't keep out of the spotlight. Ryback is first out and the crowd chants along with Feed Me More. CM Punk is next out to a mixed reaction, he pauses at the Cell door before Cena orders him in. Justin Roberts handles formal ring introductions, before exciting the Cell. Cena closes the door, and orders the bell to be rung.

Punk takes a beating for the first 7 minutes, taking a variety of power moves from Ryback. Outside the ring, Ryback uses his power to repeatedly smash Punk into the Cell structure. Ryback chants Feed Me More and slams Punk through the Cell door! Cena tries to pull Ryback back inside the Cell as Punk crawls out, but Ryback shoves Cena to the ground.

Punk climbs the Cell in an attempt to escape Ryback, and the crowd pops as Ryback follows him to the roof. Cena watches the action from the centre of the ring, and the announcers ask how he will restore order to the chaos.

12 minutes into the match, Ryback hoists Punk on his shoulders and lands Shell Shock on the roof to a massive reaction from the crowd. Ryback goes for the pin as Cole yells we have a new champion, but Cena refuses to count! JR asks what's going on, before JBL tells viewers this isn't falls count anywhere and Ryback needs to pin Punk inside the ring. The crowd boos as Ryback scores a visual 3 count on Punk on the roof. Ryback stands and looks down on Cena, clearly angry. Ryback climbs down, the crowd is pumped at the possibility of Ryback going after Cena. Ryback makes his way to the door, but Paul Heyman smashes Ryback with the title belt from behind. Ryback falls to his knees as Punk begins to climb down.

Cena blocks a second belt-shot from Heyman and knocks him down with a right-hand. He turns around and Ryback squares up to him, the crowd is really hot at this point. They tease a fight, but Punk jumps from half-way down the Cell and lands on both men. Punk throws Ryback back into the ring, and takes the title belt from Heyman. He smashes Ryback round the head with the belt and goes for the pin, but Cena is still down outside the Cell. Punk sells frustration, he exits the ring and rolls Cena back into the ring.

As Punk re-enters the ring, Ryback pops to his feet. He lands the meat-hook clothesline on Punk and signals for the end. He goes to hoist Punk up, but he slips out and connects with the GTS in the corner of the ring. He goes for the pin, Ryback has his foot on the ropes but a groggy Cena counts the 3!

CM Punk def. Ryback to retain the WWE Championship

Punk quickly escapes the Cell with his title belt as the crowd boo. JR sells anger that the match ended this way. Ryback and Cena make their way to their feet at the same time, and they square up. The crowd starts to go wild, but before Ryback or Cena can strike the first blow Punk smashes Ryback from behind with the belt, knocking Ryback into Cena at the same time. Punk nails Cena with the belt. The pay-per-view goes off the air with Punk standing tall over Ryback and Cena.

Re: WWE: Road To WM30

It looks like you have a good long term plan set, which is great. While I liked Hell in a Cell as a recap show, reading through it, I would suggest adding a bit more atmosphere to your shows in the future(like backstage promos). I'm also curious as to why Zack Ryder vs Heath Slater was the second to last match on the card? Good luck with this :)

Alright, here we go. I don't know why you made four different posts in the space of 15 mins, those all could have easily been included in the opening post, or leave just HIAC Results for a separate post. Just a gripe I have, a pretty big one actually.

Apart from that, Road to WM30? That'll be a challenge and a half but who knows, maybe you'll pull it off quite well. With a it of luck, your Raw/SD/Main Event/Whatever other show WWE has will be given a bit of spice in terms of colour as opposed to just black writing with a bit of bold here and there. Colour can make it a bit easier to read.

Best of luck with this. (Y)

Thanks for the constructive feedback! Ryder's match was a nice come-down for the crowd after the big WHC title match, and was supposed to be a bit of a feel-good moment as the card was loaded with heel wins.

I simply did different posts to brek sections up, thought it made things easier to digest. As for the appearance of the posts, ppv will always be written in black. There will be more colour for the weekly shows.

I have the outlines for all my shows up to WM29 written and I think it leads to a great show. If people are still interested after that, I have some pretty sweet ideas for 30. But thanks for reading and providing feedback.

Re: WWE: Road To WM30

Monday Night Raw - 29/10/12

Raw opens with stills from the WWE Championship match at Hell In A Cell last night, where CM Punk retained the WWE Championship over Ryback thanks to a bad refereeing call from John Cena. Who will Ryback target after his undefeated run came to an end, Cena or Punk? The Raw intro video plays.

Live in the arena, pyro shoots as JR and Michael Cole welcome viewers to Raw. John Cena's music hits to a mixed reaction, and Cena comes through the curtain with a serious look on his face. The announcers show a Tweet from Cena last night that apologised to Ryback for the bad refereeing decision. Ryback's reply; "Feed Me More..." Cena enters the ring and takes a mic. He says he witnessed first hand what a force Ryback is, and he has no doubt he is a future champion. The crowd start to chant "you screwed Ryback", before Ryback's music hits to a big reaction from the crowd.

The camera shows Cena with a look of concern on his face as Ryback makes his way to the ring. Ryback enters the ring and the pair have a stare-down, but before they can fight Vickie Guerrero's voice is heard... EXCUSE ME!

Vickie notes she is running Raw for the foreseeable future. She says Ryback and Cena will work out their difference in the ring tonight... in a tag team match. Cena and Ryback will team up to face WWE Champion CM Punk, and her client Dolph Ziggler.

Ryback starts a Feed Me More chant in front of Cena, and JR wonders out loud if Ryback would rather have a match against Cena or team with him to get his hands on Punk.

A graphic is shown on screen, still to come tonight, MizTV featuring new World Heavyweight Champion The Big Show.

Back from the commercial, Alberto Del Rio's music hits. Justin Roberts announces a 6-man tag, before introducing Prime Time Players (who are already in the ring) as Del Rio's partner. The announcers re-cap Del Rio's victory over Randy Orton last night. Orton's music then hits to a good reaction, and he comes out with a bandaged arm and shoulder. Orton slowly makes his way to the ring, but waits for his partners before entering. Rey Mysterio's music then hits to bring out Rey & Sin Cara.

The early-going is even before the heels isolate Orton and his injuries. He eventually makes the hot tag to Sin Cara, who clears house with high-flying offense. With all 3 heels down, Raw goes to a break.

Back live and Titus is dominating Mysterio in the ring, and a replay shows a big boot from O'Neil changed the momentum of the match during the break. Mysterio eventually makes the hot tag to Orton, who hits his signature offense on both players. He goes for an RKO on Del Rio, but he bails and retreats up the ramp.

Darren Young is left isolated in the ring, Rey hits the 619 and Orton follows up with the RKO for the clean win. The announcers note Ortons resiliency for picking up the win while injured, and said things look far from finished between him and Del Rio.

Randy Orton, Rey Mysterio & Sin Cara def. Prime Time Players & Alberto Del Rio

The camera focuses on the announcers, who recap the events of the Tag Team Championship match last night between Rhodes Cholars and Team Hell No. Cole notes Bryan and Kane are scheduled for their rematch tonight, but after Kane delivered a Tombstone Piledriver to Bryan following their loss, will that match happen? Find out after the break!

Back live in the arena, Cody Rhodes' music hits to bring out the new Tag Team Champions. They confidently make their way to the ring before each taking a microphone. "Good evening", begins Sandow. "Tis we, your Champions of the Tag Team Division." Before he can continue, Daniel Bryan's music hits to a strong reaction. Bryan has a mic also, and tells Rhodes Scholars they were lucky last night, before vowing to reclaim the titles right here tonight. Cody laughs at Bryan, "you must be a little confused after your partner dropped you on your head last night Daniel. You have no partner!" Bryan replies; "I don't need a partner, because I was the Tag Team Champions. Me! Yes! Yes! Yes!" Bryan makes his way to the ring. JR questions Bryan's chances in a 2-on-1 match against the Tag Champs.

Bryan fights valiantly throughout the match, but the numbers game catches up to him and Rhodes Scholars have the upper-hand. After 10 minutes, Bryan lands a big kick to the head of Sandow, leaving both men down. Suddenly, Kane's pyro hits! JR asks if Kane is here to help his partner? Rhodes takes a run at Kane as he makes his way to the ring, but Kane drops him with a big boot. Kane makes his way to the ring, and picks up Sandow by the throat before dropping him with a violent Chokeslam. The crowd cheers, are Team Hell No about to reclaim their titles? As Bryan makes his way to his feet, Kane takes Bryan by the throat and hits a Chokeslam on his own partner. The crowd boos as Kane exits the ring. Sandow makes a slow crawl and drapes an arm over Bryan to score the 3.

Rhodes Scholars def. Team Hell No to retain the Tag Team Championships.

Rhodes re-enters the win and lifts his partner up, and they celebrate with their titles over a fallen Bryan.

An on-screen graphic; still to come tonight, it's a ShowMiz reunion as the new World Heavyweight Champion is the guest on MizTV. But up next, former Nexus partners Wade Barrett and Justin Gabriel go one-on-one.

As Raw returns, a car is shown entering the building. Paul Heyman gets out of the drivers door, and he opens the door for CM Punk, who is limping after a hellish match against Ryback last night. Josh Matthews attempts to interview Punk, but Punk labels him disrespectful and walks past him. Heyman takes the microphone from Matthews and offers a few words. "The fact that my client is having to compete against Ryback and John Cena tonight, just 24 hours after surviving Hell In A Cell, is outrageous. CM Punk is fast approaching 365 consecutive days as your WWE Champion, he deserves better." Heyman thrusts the mic back into Matthews chest, before walking away.

Back in the arena, Justin Gabriel is already in the ring as the announcers note he is looking to bounce back after losing out on the United States Championship last night. Wade Barrett's music then hits, and Barrett appears on the ramp with a mic in his hand. He feeds to a slow-motion replay of him hitting the Bull-Hammer on Scott Steiner last night. Barrett says he feel a former Champion last night, and he's about to destroy his former friend to show the world that there is no stopping the Barrett Barrage. Barrett then makes his way to the ring, but before he gets to the apron Gabriel surprises him with a suicide dive.

Gabriel manages a couple of minutes of offense before Barrett lands him with the Winds Of Change in a nice counter. He picks Gabriel up and hoists him up for Wasteland, dropping him in the middle of the ring. Barrett makes the cover, but picks Gabriel's shoulders up at 2. JR asks why Barrett stopped the count when he was certain of victory? Barrett laughs to himself, then picks Gabriel up and hits him with the Bull-Hammer. Barrett places one foot on Gabriel's fallen body and scores the 3. Cole tells JR "there's your answer" before putting over the dominance of Barrett since he returned from injury.

Wade Barrett def. Justin Gabriel

Still to come tonight, Ryback must team with the man that cost him the WWE Championship last night John Cena to take on Dolph Ziggler and CM Punk. But up next, new World Heavyweight Champion Big Show will be the special guest on MizTV.

As Raw returns, a graphic on screen shows that Kofi Kingston will receive his Intercontinental Championship rematch against The Miz this Wednesday on Main Event. Back live in the arena, The Miz is in the ring that is now setup for MizTV. Miz begins; "Ladies and gentlemen welcome to the most must-see show in WWE history – MizTV! Hosted of course by your new Intercontinental Champion, and the main that will surpass the Honky Tonk Man and become the longest reigning Intercontinental Champion of all time, The Miz!" The crowd boos. "Why are you booing me? It is because I left your hero Kofi Kingston beaten so badly that he couldn't even be here tonight? Well get used to it, I'm going to do the same thing to him again this Wednesday on Main Event! But tonight isn't just about me. Tonight is about your new World Heavyweight Champion, a man I once held the Tag Team Championships with, and a man who knocked out Sheamus last night. ShowMiz are back together for a dual celebration, please welcome The Big Show!" Show's music hits to boos and the giant slowly makes his way to the ring with his new championship. Show takes a mic and thanks Miz for the welcome, before congratulating him on his victory last night. He continues;

"Last year I was the World Heavyweight Champion for less than a minute. A Championship I had craved for over 10 years was stolen from me by Daniel Bryan in less than a minute! Well, this time, I am never letting this championship leave my sights. What I did to Sheamus last night should be the wake-up call the rest of the lockerroom needs. I kicked out of one of the deadliest finishing moves in history, I got straight back to my feet and I knocked out Sheamus. I am your champion, and I am going to be your champion for a very long time. I dare anyone to tell me otherwise."

Miz begins to speak again before Sheamus's music hits to a good reception. He marches to the ring and stares down Show, but before they can fight Miz nails Sheamus with his IC belt. Show then picks up Sheamus and hits him with the WMD. Show and Miz stand tall with their belts mid-ring and JR asks who is going to stop Show.

Back from the commercial, Miz and Show are walking together backstage, laughing over what they just did to Sheamus. Booker T stops them, and tells them that if they wants a ShowMiz reunion so badly they can team up this Friday to take on Kofi Kingston and Sheamus in a tag team match. Show laughs and tells Booker he will knock out anyone he puts in front of him.

Back live, David Otunga is mid-entrance. R-Truth is out as his opponent. After a short match, Truth gets the clean win with the Lie Detector. JR says Truth has good momentum and must be in the frame for a shot at the United States or Intercontinental Championships.

R-Truth def. David Otunga

A promo video airs advertising Raw will be live from the UK next week. Backstage, Daniel Bryan is walking down the hall nursing his injuries from his earlier match. AJ walks into him by mistake. She asks him how he's feeling. Bryan asks why she cares. She says she always cared, before smiling at him and skipping away down the hall. Up next, it's main event time as CM Punk and Dolph Ziggler face John Cena and Ryback.

Cult Of Personality plays to bring Raw back for the final segment. CM Punk makes his way to the ring, flanked by Paul Heyman. Punk takes a mic and sits down mid-ring.

"Alberto Del Rio. Chris Jericho. Kane. Daniel Bryan. The Miz. Dolph Ziggler. John Cena. Ryback. I have beaten all of these men to prove I am the best in the world. Last night, I once again defended my title. I am sick of proving to you people that I am better than John Cena, I am better than Ryback, I am better than anyone past, present or future. I will win again tonight, and the next night, and the night after that."

Before he can continue, Ryback's music hits. Ryback marches to the ring, but he is ambushed from behind by Ziggler, who hits him over the head with his MITB briefcase. Ziggler rolls Ryback into the ring, Punk and Ziggler double-team Ryback. The announcers ask where Cena is, why isn't he out here to save his partner? Cena's music eventually plays and he charges the ring to make the save. As Punk and Ziggler bail the ring, Ryback gets back to his feet and stares down Cena. Cena refuses the fight, taking his position on the apron for the tag match.

The match goes 10 minutes with Ryback refusing to tag Cena. Cena eventually gets the blind tag and throws Ziggler from the ring. Cena then holds Punk in place as Ryback signals for the Meathook. Ryback goes for the big clothesline but Punk ducks and Ryback connects with Cena. Punk rolls up Ryback from behind and gets the 3!

CM Punk and Dolph Ziggler def. John Cena and Ryback

Cena and Ryback argue mid-ring, and a physical altercation is teased. Vickie Guerrero then appears on stage and yells at the men to listen to her. She says if Ryback and Cena want to tear each other apart then that's exactly what they will do. Next week on Raw it will be John Cena vs Ryback... and the winner of that match will go on to face CM Punk for the WWE Championship at Survivor Series. The crowd cheers at the news. Vickie adds that the special referee for that match will be none other than the champion himself, CM Punk! Vickie leaves, and the camera focuses on a stare-down between Ryback and Cena to close the show.

Re: WWE: Road To WM30

Main Event - 31st October 2012

Main Event opens with a video package on the recent matches between The Miz and Kofi Kingston over the Intercontinental Championship. Kingston defeated Miz for the title several weeks ago on Main Event, but Miz regained his title with an onslaught of Skull Crushing Finale's at Hell In A Cell. Kofi gets his rematch tonight!

Backstage, Matt Stryker is standing outside the medical room where Kofi Kingston is been seen to by physios. Stryker says Kofi still isn't 100% after taking a beating from Miz at Hell In A Cell, but he has been cleared to compete later tonight.

In the arena, Santino's music hits for the opening match. He is accompanied by Zack Ryder. 3MB's music brings out Jinder Mahal and his 3MB team-mates Heath Slater and Drew McIntyre. Announcers William Regal and Michael Cole recap their recent feud, before the bell rings for singles action.

After early attempts to distract Santino, McIntyre and Slater are ejected from ringside to the delight of the crowd. It isn't long before Santino hits the Cobra on Mahal for the clean win.

Santino def. Jinder Mahal

As Santino and Ryder celebrate in the ring, Slater and McIntyre re-appear and jump the pair from the behind. 3MB stand tall over Team CoBro.

The announcers feed to a pre-taped promo from The Miz, who vows to become the longest reigning Intercontinental Champion of all time. He calls Kofi foolish for trying to get back in the ring so early, and promises to drop Kofi again tonight.

In the arena, Justin Roberts announces the following for the Intercontinental Championship, before Kingston makes his entrance. Kofi is clearly still injured, and Regal states it will only take one Skull Crushing Finale tonight to finish Kingston off. Miz is out next, and the match is underway.

Kofi makes a valiant effort, getting in the majority of the early offence. The turning point comes 13 minutes into the match when Kofi misses a top-rope splash, with the announcers noting an already hurt Kofi can't afford to miss the high-risk moves. Miz capitalises with the Skull Crushing Finale and scores the 3.

WWE SmackDown - 2nd November 2012

A video package opens SmackDown. It highlights Big Show capturing the World Heavyweight Championship at Hell In A Cell, as well as showing stills of Miz regaining the Intercontinental Title from Kofi Kingston as well as his retention on Main Event. Tonight, ShowMiz reunite to take on Sheamus and Kingston.

Live in the arena, Alberto Del Rio's music hits. He makes his usual entrance before entering the ring and taking a mic. He says he defeated Randy Orton fair and square at Hell In A Cell to prove he is the new apex predator in WWE. Before he can continue, R-Truth's music hits to bring out Truth as Del Rio's opponent for tonight. JBL notes Truth is on a good run of results and is looking to catch the eye of the general manager to earn a title shot.

After a 6 minute match, Del Rio appears to be gaining the upper-hand. He signals for the Cross Arm-Breaker, but before he can apply the lock Randy Orton's music hits to a pop from the crowd. Del Rio turns to face the entrance, but Orton doesn't appear. Truth rolls up Del Rio from behind and scores the 3!

R-Truth def. Alberto Del Rio

Truth quickly bails the ring and celebrates as Del Rio fumes in the ring. The camera then moves to the announcers, who reveal tonight will see former tag team champions Kane and Daniel Bryan both in singles action. JBL says Kane has never fully explained his reasons for turning on his partner, but says this is to be expected from a monster.

Backstage, Big Show and Miz are in their dressing room. They are arguing; Show says he will knock out Sheamus faster than Miz can “finish Kofi once and for all”. Matt Stryker attempts to interrupt the conversation for an interview, but Show takes exception to him not knocking on the door and lands him with the WMD.

Back live, 3MB are already in the ring. A replay from Superstars is shown, Heath Slater interfered in a match between Team CoBro and the other members of 3MB before Booker T ordered tonight's match, with Mahal banned from ringside. Zack Ryder's music brings out Ryder and Marella.

A short tag match sees 3MB score the clean win when McIntyre nails Santino with the Futureshock DDT.

3MD (Heath Slater & Drew McIntyre) def. Team CoBro (Santino & Zack Ryder)

Josh Matthews notes Slater and McIntyre seem to be a stronger team than any combination including the banned Mahal as 3MD celebrate in the ring. Suddenly, Kane's pyro hits. 3MB retreat through the crowd as Kane marches to the ring. He takes Ryder and Marella by the throat and nails a double-Cholkeslam! Kane will be in singles action after the break.

Back live, Brodus Clay's music hits and the Funkasaurus attempts to make his usual entrance. As soon as he enters the ring, Kane hits him with a big boot. Kane assults Clay with his signature offence before dropping him with a Clothesline. The announcers note the match never had chance to start, and Kane hits his pyro and exits to a chorus of boos.

Kane vs Brodus Clay goes to a No Contest.

Backstage, Daniel Bryan is watching a replay of his former partner taking Brodus Clay apart. AJ Lee appears and taps him on the shoulder. She offers to take Bryan out for a drink after the show, but Bryan says he has too much on his mind with Kane and walks away.

Down the hall, the camera catches up to Alberto Del Rio, who is searching for Randy Orton. Orton appears out of nowhere and attacks Del Rio, before hitting him with an RKO on top of a car.

Back in the arena, Dolph Ziggler's music hits. The announcers play up his guaranteed World Heavyweight Championship match as Mr Money In The Bank, but question if he would be able to get the job done over a dominant Big Show. Ziggler takes on Bryan after the break.

Back live, Daniel Bryan makes his entrance. He plays up to the crowd with the Yes!/No! Chants.

10 minutes into a back-and-forth match, AJ appears at ringside wearing one of Bryan's shirts. The distraction is enough for Ziggler to catch Bryan off guard, and he connects with a Superkick to score the 3.

Dolph Ziggler def. Daniel Bryan

AJ enters the ring and attempts to apologise, before Kane's pyro once again hits. Bryan stands in front of AJ as if to protect her as Kane storms the ring. Kane goes to strike Bryan, but he moves and connects with AJ. Bryan is mortified and goes to check on AJ, but Kane grabs him and connects with a Tombstone. JBL says Kane has snapped as he leaves the ring, with Bryan and AJ both fallen. Matthews wants to know why AJ is once again getting involved with Bryan and Kane after their love triangle earlier this year.

Still to come tonight, ShowMiz reunite to face Sheamus and Kofi Kingston. But up next, Rey Mysterio and Sin Cara are the number 1 contenders for Rhodes Scholars' Tag Team Championships. Who will get the momentum going ahead of Survivor Series when Sin Cara takes on Cody Rhodes?

Back live, Cody Rhodes and Damien Sandow are on their way to the ring. Rhodes enters the ring and Sandow joins Matthews and JBL on commentary. Sin Cara makes his entrance without Mysterio, who is not in the arena tonight.

In a fairly even match, Sin Cara looks to be gaining the upper-hand before Sandow interferes to cause the DQ. Rhodes Scholars beat down Cara, with Regal stating they are sending a message to anyone who wants to take the titles from them.

Sin Cara def. Cody Rhodes via DQ

Still to come, the tag team main event of Big Show & Miz against Kingston and Sheamus. But up next, the Raw Rebound.

Post-break, a highlight package focuses on John Cena counting the 3 as special referee when CM Punk defeated Ryback at Hell In A Cell. The package then shows Cena and Ryback's miscommunication in the tag team main event on Raw, before the announcement that they will go one-on-one next week on Raw to determine the number 1 contender for CM Punk's WWE Championship, with Punk himself as the special referee.

Back live, Kofi Kingston's music hits. Kofi slowly makes his way to the ring, clearly still hurt from Hell In A Cell and Main Event. JBL says Kofi must be questioning himself after two straight losses for the Intercontinental Championship. Sheamus is out next, looking ready to fight. The old ShowMiz music hits to bring out the World Heavyweight and Intercontinental Champions. The announcers not Show and Miz were once Tag Team Champions and should be favourites for the match.

Show dominates Kofi for much of the match before tagging in Miz. Kofi escapes a Skull Crushing Finale attempt and makes the hot tag to Sheamus, who hits his signature offence. Miz looks to tag Show, but he steps down from the apron and walks up the ramp. Miz turns around and is hit with a Brogue Kick from Sheamus, who scores the 3.

Sheamus & Kofi Kingston def. Big Show & The Miz

Sheamus takes a mic and tells Show he will invoke his rematch clause at Survivor Series, vows to regain the World Heavyweight Championship “or die trying”.

Backstage, Randy Orton is making his way to his car. He gets in. A second car is heard reving, and suddenly Orton's car is hit by another vehicle. Alberto Del Rio emerges as the driver of the vehicle as SmackDown goes off the air.

Re: WWE: Road To WM30

i've been looking and following this BTB today, it looks like you got a lot of stuff written down, the Cena/AJ Scandal is written out thank god, Kane and Daniel Bryan finally they broke up, and Big Show of course is the World Heavyweight Champion, Mysterio and Sincara are working extremely well i think it's time they have the Tag Team Championships, but something's bugging me about AJ/Daniel Bryan and Kane, i read that AJ cared for Bryan and that she was going to take him out for a drink and that Bryan was trying to protect her from Kane, something tells me that Kane and AJ are using Daniel all this time, including John Cena and that's all i have to say about that, good luck
