Default Re: WWE: Road To WM30

I personally cannot wait until your TLC pay per view, so that way we can finally see Cena vs Punk for the WWE Championship one more time, the final encounter for these 2 men, this is probably the last time either of them will face off against each other and personally I hope this match is in a Tables, Ladders and Chairs Match with the winner going on to the Royal Rumble pay per view to defend the WWE Championship against The Rock

As for Kane/Bryan I can definitely see these 2 going at it at TLC but in what type of match though, that is the million dollar question, I think it will be a Chairs Match personally

As for Show/Sheamus for the World Heavyweight Championship, at TLC I see these 2 going at it in a Chairs Match also with Ziggler cashing in his briefcase on whoever the champion is

And as for Orton, I really hope his heel turn happens here

SmackDown – Friday 23rd November 2012

SmackDown begins with a video package advertising three headline matches tonight: Daniel Bryan vs Kane, Big Show vs Randy Orton and Dolph Ziggler vs Sheamus. Live in the arena, Randy Orton's music hits to a big ovation from the crowd. The Viper makes his way to the ring, making his signature entrance as JBL and Josh Matthews welcome viewers to Friday Night SmackDown. Orton takes a mic.

"It's been over a year since Mark Henry defeated me for the World Heavyweight Championship. Since then I have gone to hell and back with Kane, gone to war with Alberto Del Rio, but through it all I have always had the same goal in my mind... to reclaim the World Heavyweight Championship. And I can think of no better way than to get back into that Championship picture than by slaying the Giant right here tonight!"

The crowd cheers at the idea, but the cheers turn to boos as Big Show's music hits. Show has a mic and speaks as he makes his way down to the ring.

"You're a funny guy Randy, I'll give you that. I know you've been dropped on your head and smashed with a car recently, so perhaps you haven't noticed what's been going on around you? The World Heavyweight Championship belongs to me, I earned this title by going toe-to-toe with the best brawler in this industry, and twice I knocked that 'fella' out. This title will be mine until the day I retire. But hey, I welcome all challenges, if you want to get knocked out like Sheamus did then we'll do this right now..."

Show enters the ring and the match begins with Orton unloading on Show, who eventually over-powers him and goes to work on Orton. The match centers around Orton trying to connect with the RKO, but each time Show over-powers him and throws him away. After a good ten minute match, Orton is building momentum but is suddenly knocked out by a surprise WMD from Show, who picks up an impressive win.

Big Show def. Randy Orton

Show takes his belt and walks back up the ramp, yelling at the crowd that he is unstoppable. JBL says he may well be unstoppable, noting Show has gone through SmackDown's best in Randy Orton and Sheamus.

Backstage, Rey Mysterio and Sin Cara are in Booker T's office. They ask him for another shot at the Tag Titles after they were cheated at Survivor Series. Booker replies;

"Look Rey, I agree with you, Sandow clearly had his feet on the ropes when he pinned out this Sunday. But once the referee rings the bell, that's it, over and done. I can't just grant you a rematch, but how about this... if you and Sin Cara can defeat Sandow and Rhodes in singles matches before TLC, you can have another shot at their tag team championships."

Sin Cara nods, and the pair exit Booker's office. Live in the arena, Kofi Kingston's music hits. He is in singles action after the break.

Back live, Damien Sandow makes his entrance, accompanied by Cody Rhodes. As he makes his way to the ring, the announcers narrate over a still from Survivor Series where Sandow pinned Mysterio with his feet on the ropes to help Rhodes Scholars retain the Tag Titles.

After a back-and-forth match, Sandow reverses an SOS attempt itno the Terminus for the win.

Damien Sandow def. Kofi Kingston

Cody Rhodes is ringside with a mic.

"Further proof ladies and gentlemen, that was further proof that intelligence is everything! Last night we retained our championships against Rey Mysterio and Sin Cara, so what does our General Manager do? He puts myself and Damien in singles matches against them in a bid to give them another shot at our belts. How on Earth does winning singles matches make you worthy of a tag team championship match? Not to matter, we will once against defeat the pair and continue to represent the tag team division as your champions."

Sandow exits the ring, takes the mic from Cody and says "you're welcome".

The announcers feed to the Raw Rebound, showing the last 5 minutes of the fatal fourway match this week on Raw. John Cena was declared number one contender to the WWE Championship after defeating Kane, Dolph Ziggler and Ryback. This transitions to an advert for Raw, where CM Punk and John Cena will both speak about their upcoming title match.

Back from commercials, R-Truth is completing his enterance as the announcers discuss his failed attempt to take the Intercontinental Championship from The Miz this past Sunday at Survivor Series. If Truth can win this non-title rematch, he will have a good case to present to Booker T for another opportunity. The Miz is out as his opponent.

In a short match, Miz once again gets the better of his former tag team partner and drops him with a Skull Crushing Finale to pick up the win.

The Miz def. R-Truth

Backstage, Matt Stryker has AJ and Kane for an interview. Stryker asks Kane for his reaction to Daniel Bryan costing him the number one contendership match on Raw, but AJ interupts.

"I will be speaking on behalf of Kane. The whole world saw how dominant my monster is this past Monday night, and in a fair and righteous world he would be heading into TLC to take the WWE Championship. But we are not in a fair or righteous world, and Daniel Bryan felt it neccessary to interfere in a match that was none of his business. Tonight Kane and I will end Daniel Bryan once and for all. YES! YES! YES!"

Back live in the arena, Zack Ryder is the ring ahead of his upcoming match with a microphone in hand.

"Did all my broski's see me at Survivor Series? Long Island Iced Z did what our United States Champion said could not be done and I pinned him."

Ryder feeds to footage of Ryder eliminating Cesaro from the Survivor Series elimination tag team match this past Sunday.

"Then this Monday on Raw, he only goes and attacks my broski Santino Marella. Are you serious bro? In a few short weeks it's our last pay per view of the year, TLC. TLC holds special memories for me, last year it's where I defeated Dolph Ziggler to win my one and only US title. I don't know about you guys here tonight, but I think Booker T should make the Long Island Iced Z the number one contender to Antonio Cesario's title!"

The crowd cheers, but the cheers turn to boos when Vickie Guerrero interupts.

"EXCUSE ME! Zack Ryder, you are yesterdays news. People don't care what happened last year, they care about the future, and the future of the WWE is my brand new client... Michael McGillicutty!"

McGillicutty's music hits and he makes his way to the ring for singles action, after the break.

As SmackDown returns, the match is underway and McGillicutty is dominating with Vicky barking orders. The announcers note McGillicutty's recent run of impressive performances, and JBL says things will only get better with the guidance of Guerrero. McGillicutty hooks Ryder in position for the PerfectPlex, but Ryder reverses into a small package and gets the win.

Zack Ryder def. Michael McGillicutty

Ryder bails the ring and celebrates up the ramp as McGillicutty and Guerrero vent their frustrations in the ring. The announcers wonder if this is enough to earn Ryder the United States Championship opportunity he wants.

Backstage, Daniel Bryan is in Booker T's office discussing his match with Kane tonight. Booker says he wants them to settle their differences without interference from AJ or anyone else. He makes the match no disqualification, with the added stipulation that if anyone interferes in the match they will be immediatley fired. Bryan tells Booker he will not only defeat Kane tonight, but he will make him tap out.

Back in the arena, the camera is on the announcers, who question if Bryan would be able to make the Big Red Machine submit. JBL calls Bryan the most dangerous submission specialist in WWE history, and says if anyone can do it it will be him.

Dolph Ziggler's music hits for the semi-main event. As Ziggler makes his entrance, the annoucners remind viewers that Ziggler would be World Champion tonight if not for Sheamus. They then show to a replay from Wednesday's Main Event match between Ziggler and Sheamus, where Sheamus won via DQ after Ziggler hit him with the Money In The Bank Briefcase. Dolph continues his entrance as SmackDown goes to commercial.

Back live, Sheamus's music hits to a big reaction from the crowd. Sheamus is fired up, he charges the ring and the match is underway.

10 minutes in, Sheamus lands White Noise on Ziggler. He signals for the Brogue Kick before Wade Barrett inexplicably interferes in the match and begins to unload on Sheamus, causing the DQ.

Sheamus def. Dolph Ziggler via DQ

As Ziggler retreats up the ramp, Barrett continues his attack on Sheamus while the fans boo. Barrett connects with the Bullhammer, before demanding a mic from ringside. He places one foot on top of the fallen Sheamus.

"I do not take kindly to Brogue Kicks. Sheamus tried to halt the Barrett Barrage on Monday when he kicked me in the face in that tag match, tonight I have proved to the world that the Barrage cannot be halted. I am Wade Barrett, I will always come out on top."

Barrett smashes the mic over Sheamus's head and exits the ring while his music plays. The announcers feed to a replay of the events, before showing an on-screen graphic that shows Kane vs Bryan is up next. Back live, Big Show appears on the Titantron laughing. He proceeds to speak.

"It's not going well for you is it fella? Why don't you go join Randy Orton on a hospital bed, you can be buddies. Sit up all night talking about how you got knocked out by the most dominant World Heavyweight Champion of all time."

Show continues to laugh as SmackDown goes to it's final commercial.

Back live, the lights go dark and Kane's pyro shoots as the Big Red Machine makes his way to the ring. The announcers note there is no AJ with Kane after Booker T banned anyone from interfering in this No Disqualification match. The announcers continue to discuss the recent history of Kane and Bryan, before Bryan's music hits to a massive cheer from the crowd. He appears on stage with a kendo stick, smiles, and then charges at Kane as the match begins.

Bryan gets in early offense, methodically targeting Kane's back with the stick. Bryan attempts several No Locks, but Kane over-powers him every time. Bryan attempts his running corner-dropkick, but Kane grabs him by the throat before he can leave his feet and drops him with a Chokeslam. Kane makes the cover, but Bryan shows great resiliency by kicking out at 2, popping the crowd.

An agnry Kane scoops Bryan up after signalling for the Tombstone, but Bryan reverses slips out of the back and begins to kick Kane's legs, eventually dropping The Big Red Machine to his knees. Bryan follows up with a huge kick to the head. He applies the No Lock on Kane for a good 30 seconds in the middle of the ring, but Kane won't tap!

Bryan releases the hold, picks up the kendo stick and works over Kane again. He then re-applies the No Lock, but instead of clasping his hands together he uses the stick for extra leverage. The pain is too much for Kane, he taps out and the crowd goes crazy!

Daniel Bryan def. Kane

Bryan poses on the turnbuckle celebrating his revenge as SmackDown goes off the air.

I loved Smackdown and I personally cannot wait until TLC gets here because then the real build-up towards WrestleMania 29 can begin but Big Show he is just too dominant as World Heavyweight Champion, like no one can beat him right now that's for sure, he just dominated Orton with ease and has knocked Sheamus out more times than I care to count, who will be able to step up to The Giant? Zack Ryder I hope he gets a WWE United States Championship match at TLC but Cesaro too is also dominant as US Champion but something tells me Kane and Daniel Bryan's rivalry will end at TLC

WWE Raw – Monday 26th November 2012

Raw opens with a highlight package from last week, which focused on John Cena winning a fatal fourway match to become number one contender to the WWE Championship. Also featured in the video is Daniel Bryan making Kane submit on SmackDown.

Live in the arena, Jerry Lawler's music hits to bring out the Raw General Manager as Michael Cole and JR welcome viewers to the show. King makes his way to the ring and take a mic from ringside.

“Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to Monday Night Raw! Last week I told you I wanted to make an impact with my first show as the Raw GM, and I brought you a fatal fourway match for the number one contendership. Well, tonight I want to show you all that going forward each and every episode of Monday Night Raw will be... well... fit for a king! Booker T gave you all Daniel Bryan vs Kane on Friday Night SmackDown, so hopefully I can go one better. Tonight Daniel Bryan and Kane will be in action... but it will be Pick Your Poison! For those who aren't familiar with the concept, this means that Kane will pick Daniel's opponent for tonight and Daniel will pick an opponent for Kane!”

Before he can continue, CM Punk's music hits to boos. Punk appears on stage, flanked by Paul Heyman. Punk has a mic.

Punk: “You have some explaining to do Mr Lawler. You promised me a championship celebration last week, the rightful acknowledgement of my one-year reign as the greatest WWE Champion of all time! So what happens? You steal the limelight from me to announce your little fatal fourway match. Why did you do that Jerry, huh? Is it because you have a vendetta against me? Is it because the last time we crossed paths you had a heart attack and nearly died?”

The crowd boos, Lawler tries to interrupt but Punk continues.

Punk: “And then what happens in your little main event? You announce a number one contender that I have defeated time after time after time after time! CM Punk vs John Cena has been done before, and the ending is exactly the same, CM Punk retains his WWE Championship!”

King manages to interrupt Punk.

Lawler: “Well that's where you are wrong Mr Punk. Yes you have faced John Cena before, and nobody is denying that you have come out on top more times than not. But our main event at TLC is a match that hasn't been done before. CM Punk, you will defend your WWE Championship against John Cena in a Tables Ladders and Chairs match!”

The crowd cheers as Punk sells anger. Punk starts to march to the ring. King continues.

Lawler: “Oh and I'm glad you're coming down here, because you have a match... right now... against this man...”

Randy Orton's music hits to a big pop from the crowd as JR sells excitement at a WrestleMania 27 rematch will open the show. Punk continues to fume at King, who exits the ring and shakes Orton's hand as he makes his way back up the ramp. Orton enters the ring and the match begins.

Punk has the upper hand for the first few minutes, but Orton makes the comeback and mounts his signature offense. After a snap powerslam, Orton signals for the RKO. Punk manages to escape the ring, and retreats up the ramp with Paul Heyman as the ref counts him out.

Randy Orton def. CM Punk via count-out

The crowd boo Punk and the announcers question if Punk is rattled by his upcoming TLC match against John Cena. Raw goes to commercial.

Raw returns with an advert for Christian. It is revealed he will return to SmackDown this Friday as a guest on MizTV.

Backstage, Matt Stryker has Daniel Bryan for an interview. Stryker asks Bryan who he will select as Kane's opponent later tonight. Bryan responds,

“I can't tell you that yet Matt, but I can tell you this. After I made Kane tap out last Friday, I have a new-found confidence in my abilities. I am the most dangerous submission artist in WWE today, I can snap anyone in half at any given moment. So it really doesn't matter who Kane and AJ put out there, I will beat him. Yes! Yes! YES!”

Bryan walks away and down the hall, still yelling “YES!”

Back live in the arena, Zack Ryder is making his entrance. Cole reminds viewers that Ryder is looking to earn a United States Championship match against Antonio Cesaro after eliminating Cesaro from the Survivor Series tag match. As Ryder completes his entrance, Vickie Guerrero's voice is heard...

“Excuse me!”

Vickie and Michael McGillicutty appear on the stage and make their way toward the ring.

“Mr Ryder, last week you got a lucky win over my client. I have convinced Jerry Lawler to give Michael McGillicutty a rematch against you tonight to prove that it is him, and not you, that deserves a United States Championship match. Lightning will not strike twice Zack.”

McGillicutty enters the ring and the match begins. Unlike last week, Ryder dominates the majority of the match and gets a clean win with the Rough Ryder.

Zack Ryder def. Michael McGillicutty

Ryder celebrates as JR wonders if this more dominant display will be enough to earn Ryder a US Title shot.

Still to come tonight, Rey Mysterio looks to earn his team a Tag Team Championship rematch when he goes one-on-one with Damien Sandow. But up next, Kane is in action against an opponent of Daniel Bryan's choosing.

Back live, Kane's pyro hits and he makes his way to the ring, accompanied by AJ. As Kane completes he entrance there is a pause as he waits to find out who his opponent will be. Ryback's music hits to a big pop from the crowd, and he marches to the ring.

It's a physical match with both big men getting in powerful offence. Ryback hits Kane with ShellShock on the 10 minute mark, but AJ distracts the referee while he makes the cover. The ref isn't standing for it and ejects AJ. Ryback then lands a Meathook Clothesline for the win to a big cheer from the crowd.

Ryback def. Kane

The announcers play up Ryback picking up a big win. Kane is angry in the ring, JR questions if he is angry with Bryan or Ryback.

Backstage, CM Punk and Paul Heyman are talking. Punk tells Heyman they need a plan going into TLC, Heyman smiles and says he has something in mind.

A graphic on screen shows still to come tonight, John Cena addresses the WWE Universe. We then see Sheamus walking down the hall, he takes on United States Champion Antonio Cesaro next.

Before Raw returns, an advert for Main Event airs – WWE Champion CM Punk will take on Rey Mysterio.

Back live, Sheamus's music hits to a good reaction from the crowd. As he makes his way to the ring, the announcers recap his recent feud with Wade Barrett. They feed to a replay of Barrett interfering in his match against Dolph Ziggler last Friday, and then attacking Sheamus after the match. Antonio Cesaro's music hits, and he makes his way to the ring while cutting a promo.

“As United States Champion, I represent you people. And let me say, you are lucky to have me. The last thing this horrible nation needs is Zack Ryder as it's Champion. But as your Champion, I promise you that I will not allow this to happen. For now, I will defeat this probably-drunk Irishman and prove once again that I am the greatest United States Champion of all time!”

Cesaro enters the ring and the match begins. Cesaro dominates much of the match, landing his signature moves on Sheamus but not managing to get the win. Sheamus then mounts a comeback, connecting with the Irish Curse Backbreaker. As Sheamus signals for the Brogue Kick, Wade Barrett appears and once again begins to fight Sheamus.

Sheamus def. Antonio Cesaro via DQ

Cesaro bails the ring as Barrett and Sheamus trade blows. Barrett takes advantage of a weakened Sheamus and hits him with the Bullhammer. The crowd boo as Barrett exits the ring and brings in a chair. Barrett smashes a grounded Sheamus with multiple chair shots as the announcers sell disgust. Barrett holds the chair aloft with a smile on his face.

The announcers feed to a graphic on screen, still to come tonight is Daniel Bryan against an opponent of Kane's choosing. Also, John Cena addresses the WWE Universe ahead of his Championship match at TLC. The announcers then transition to speaking about the Tag Team division. They feed to a highlight package on the Rhodes Scholars / Mysterio & Sin Cara feud.
  • Rhodes Scholars won the Tag Team Championships at Hell In A Cell, capitalising on Team Hell No's collapse.
  • On the same night, Mysterio and Sin Cara became number one contenders by defeating Prime Time Players.
  • At Survivor Series, Damien Sandow had his feet on the ropes whilst pinning Mysterio, keeping the titles with Rhodes Scholars.
  • Booker T announces that if Mysterio and Sin Cara can defeat Rhodes and Sandow in singles matches, he will grant them a rematch.

The match is up next as Raw goes to commercial.

Back live, Rhodes Scholars are making their way to the ring. JR notes it will be Mysterio vs Sandow tonight, with Sin Cara facing Rhodes on SmackDown if Rey can pick up the win. Mysterio's music then hits, and he makes his way to the ring accompanied by Sin Cara.

As Mysterio enters the ring, Rhodes Scholars ambush Sin Cara ringside and throw him into the ring steps. The match begins as officials escort Cara backstage to treat an apparently injured shoulder.

The match goes ten minutes but is riddled with distractions from Rhodes whenever Mysterio has the upper-hand. Mysterio connects with the 619 and drops the dime, but as he makes the cover Rhodes once again distracts the referee. Suddenly, Booker T's music hits to a big reaction. Booker has a mic.

“Now I know this is Monday Night Raw, and I don't wanna step on King's toes, but I arranged for this match to happen and I aint letting Cody get away with this blatant cheating. Cody, if you interfere or distract that referee one more time, I will instantly strip you of your Championships!”

Sandow is still down, and as Rhodes vents his anger at ringside, Mysterio climbs the top rope and lands a Frog Splash to pick up the win.

Rey Mysterio def. Damien Sandow

Sandow rolls out of the ring and is helped to his feet by Rhodes as Mysterio celebrates in the ring.

Backstage, Matt Stryker is outside the trainers room where Sin Cara is been treated. He reports that despite some heavy bruising, he has been cleared to face Cody Rhodes on Friday's episode of SmackDown.

In the arena, Daniel Bryan's music hits to the biggest reaction of the night. He makes his way to the ring, and the announcers feed to commercials as they wonder who his opponent will be.

Back live, and Bryan is in the ring waiting for his opponent. The Big Show's music hits to boos, Cole says it is a smart move on Kane's part to choose the World Heavyweight Champion as Bryan's opponent as he's been unstoppable since winning the championship. JR notes Bryan does not look afraid.

The early going of the match is all Show, who dominates his smaller opponent. Bryan makes a comeback, targeting Show's right knee. He repeatedly attacks the knee, keeping Show grounded and in pain. At the 15 minutes mark, Bryan removes Show's knee pad and stomps away at the knee further. He then applies a half-Boston Crab, applying the pressure to the injured knee. Show reels in pain, before tapping out to a huge pop from the crowd.

Daniel Bryan def. Big Show

JR calls it a career-changing victory for Bryan, putting over his ability to make the giant tap with his dangerous array of submission moves. Bryan celebrates up the ramp and Show clutches his knee.

Backstage, Kane and AJ are shown watching Bryan's win on a monitor. Matt Stryker interrupts them asking for their reaction after Bryan defeated their hand-picked opponent. AJ responds.

“Obviously we are not happy, but...”

Kane interrupts AJ:

“I do not care about Daniel Bryan. What I care about is losing to Ryback. Monsters do not take losses well. Ryback will be sorry, revenge shall be mine.”

AJ looks confused at Kane as he walks down the hall.

He passes John Cena, and the crowd cheers as the announcers tell fans he is on his way to the ring as Raw heads to it's final break.

Back live, John Cena's music hits to a mainly positive reaction. He makes his way to the ring as the announcers narrate footage of Cena becoming the number one contender to CM Punk's WWE Championship. Cena takes a mic.

“I aren't out here to crack jokes. I'm not out here to talk about Fruity Pebbles, make poopy jokes or talk about my jean shorts. I'm out here to talk about 16th December. Sunday 16th December is the beginning of my road to redemption. See, at TLC I have one more shot at the WWE Championship, which means I have one more shot at CM Punk. I'm not going to lie to you guys, 2012 has not been my year. I lost to The Rock in the biggest match of my life, I got my ass kicked by Brock Lesnar, got pinned by John Laurinitis, failed in numerous attempts to take the title from Punk, became the first man to unsuccessfully cash in Money In The Bank... the list continues. But come December 16th, none of that matters, and let me tell you why...

“December 16th is the date I end CM Punk's WWE Championship reign. It's the day I put those failed title shots behind me, it's the day I once again prove I am the main man in this company. But even more than that, even more important to me even than the Championship, is the chance to take another shot at The Rock. At Raw 1000, Rock declared that he had been granted a WWE Championship match at the 2013 Royal Rumble. Ever since then, I have had one goal, that goal was to become WWE Champion and get my rematch with Dwayne.”

Before Cena can continue, Cult Of Personality plays and CM Punk appears on the stage with a mic.

“This is exactly the problem with this place John. And this exactly what I was talking about way back when I dropped my infamous pipebomb. I am the best wrestler in the world, I have been the WWE Champion longer than anyone in recent memory, yet look at what we have here. Your WWE Champion opens up the show in a WrestleMania rematch, a clash of two mega-stars. But is CM Punk in the main event? Of course he isn't, because Vince's favourite has something to say to these idiots in attendance, so John Cena talking is the main event this evening. December 16th isn't the start of your road to redemption John...”

By this point, Punk has made his way to the ring and enters, staring Cena in the eye.

“... it's the day I start my road to proving that not only am I the best in the world today, but I am the best of all time. December 16th I will once again defeat you, and I will roll on up to the Royal Rumble and defeat The Rock. And if that isn't enough to command some respect around here, then maybe I'll go on to WrestleMania and defend my Championship against Stone Cold Steve Austin, or perhaps I'll just go and end the streak. I don't care what I have to do John, I don't care how many times I have to repeat myself. You know it, I know it... you cannot beat me.”

The crowd boo as Punk smirks at Cena. Cena looks to respond verbally, but instead smashes Punk in the head with the mic. The pair trade blows as the crowd cheer, Cena gets the upper hand and drops Punk with an AA. The crowd cheer, Cena's music hits and he takes Punk's belt. He holds it aloft. JR wonders if this will be the visual coming out of TLC as Raw goes off the air.

WWE Main Event - 28th November

The opening credits roll and show that tonight will see US Champion Antonio Cesaro team with Michael McGillicutty to take on Team CoBro. In the opening bout, CM Punk is scheduled to take on Rey Mysterio. A video package takes viewers back to their infamous feud 2 years ago, before coming to present day and replaying Punk's recent dominance as WWE Champion.

Live in the arena, Cult Of Personality hits to boos from the crowd as CM Punk makes his entrance accompanied by Paul Heyman. The announcers note Punk is in a foul mood after taking an AA from John Cena last Monday on Raw, and he looks to take his frustrations out on Rey Mysterio tonight. Rey makes his signature entrance without Sin Cara, who the announcers say is resting his injured shoulder ahead of an important match against Cody Rhodes this Friday.

CM Punk def. Rey Mysterio

After a dominant victory, Punk smashes Mysterio with the title belt. The announcers feed to a pre-recorded video from Sheamus.

“Wade Barrett, fella you and me have got some issues we need to get through. It was a couple of weeks ago on Raw, I was going about my daily business of dishing out Brogue Kicks. You happened to be on the wrong end of one of those. Rather than fight me like a real man, you choose sneak attacks and chair shots. Fella, when I get my hands on you, the only thing taking a barrage will be your ugly face.”

Back live, Zack Ryder's music hits to bring out Team CoBro. The announcers recap Zack Ryder's quest for a United States Championship match after eliminating Cesaro from the Survivor Series tag match, and state both he and Santino are looking for revenge after Cesaro attacked Santino. Cesaro is next out, before Vickie Guerrero introduces her new client Michael McGillicutty.

Santino and McGillicutty are the legal men while things heat up between Ryder and Cesaro, who brawl up the ramp and backstage. In ring, McGillicutty connects with the PerfectPlex for the win.

Michael McGillicutty & Antonio Cesaro def. Zack Ryder & Santino

Backstage, Ryder and Cesaro are still fighting. Cesaro grabs a steel pipe and smashes Ryder around the head. Ryder lays knocked out as Main Event ends.

WWE Friday Night SmackDown - 30th November 2012

SmackDown begins live in the arena, the ring is set up for Miz TV and Intercontinental Champion The Miz is making his way to the ring. Josh Matthews and JBL welcome viewers to Friday Night SmackDown, before Miz takes a mic.

"Ladies and Gentlemen, welcome to the most must-see talk show in WWE history, welcome to MizTV! Tonight is a strange night. When The Miz decides he wants to host an episode of MizTV, he will decide when to do it and he will choose his own guests. So I'm sure you can imagine my surprise when I received a call from Booker T telling me I was opening tonight's show with my awesome show. Booker goes on to tell me that my guest will be none other than returning superstar Christian! And that Christian himself requested an appearance on my show. Personally I don't think Christian is worthy of my time, but I'll go along with it. Ladies and Gentlemen welcome back... Christian."

The crowd cheer as Christian's music players, and Captain Charisma appears on stage dressed to wrestle. He milks the crowd reaction, before entering the ring and taking a mic.

Christian: "Man it's good to be back! Firstly I'd like to thank each and every one of my peeps for the warm welcome. Now Miz, there are a couple of reasons I asked to be a guest on your show. Firstly, it was to tell you face to face that this show is a poor imitation of The Peep Show, and that you are the worst talk-show host I have ever laid eyes upon."

Miz: "Really? A knock off of your Peep Show? Really? I am the Intercontinental Champion, I am the most must-see talk-show host of all time, these people love me!"

The crowd boo, before Christian continues.

Christian: "If you say so Miz. But you see, I didn't spend months rehabbing my injury to come back and argue with you about talk-shows. I went through my injury and am back stronger than ever, I feel great. So great that I think I could beat just about anybody... hell, maybe I'll defeat you and take your Intercontinental Championship!"

The crowd cheer, but Miz laughs.

Miz: "I don't want to sound much like Zack Ryder, but are you serious bro? You think you can come back on your first night and get a shot at my Intercontinental Championship? Get to the back of the line Christian, I will defend this title when I see fit."

Before he can continue, Booker T's music hits to cheers from the crowd.

Booker: "Hold up guys. Now Christian, Miz is right, you can't just walk into title shots. But I for one would definitely like to see you two guys go at it for that Intercontinental Championship. So here's the deal. Christian, I see you're dressed for action tonight, so I will put you in singles action tonight against Wade Barrett and give you the chance to show me what you got. And if you win your match, I will put you one-on-one with Miz next Wednesday on Main Event and give you the chance to prove to me that you can beat him. Christian if you win those two matches, I will grant you a shot at the Intercontinental Championship at TLC!"

The crowd cheer and Christian smiles, but Miz is not happy. He attempts to speak, but Booker cuts him off.

Booker: "Now can you dig that... suckaaaaa!"

Booker's music hits again and the crowd cheer. Christian winks at Miz and leaves the ring. Backstage, Matt Stryker has Wade Barrett for an interview to ask for his opinion on what he just heard.

"I'll tell you what I think Matt. My name is Wade Barrett and I will do whatever I want to whoever I want, just because I can. So when I attack Sheamus with a chair and leave hm in pieces on the floor, I am doing it just because I can. I will beat Christian tonight and ruin his big return, just because I can. Do you see where this is going Matt? I do whatever I like for one reason, to prove to the world that there truly is no stopping the great Barrett Barrage."

Live in the arena, Kofi Kingston is making his way to the ring for singles action. Dolph Ziggler is out as his opponent, and the announcers note he can cash in his Money In The Bank contract whenever he likes before wondering how long he is going to wait. The show goes to break 5 minutes into the match.

Back live, Ziggler is in control. Kofi makes the comeback, dropping Ziggler with signature offense. He goes to the top rope and looks for his signature splash, but Dolph connects with a thunderous Superkick to Kofi as he is mid-air. It's good for the win.

Dolph Ziggler def. Kofi Kingston

The announcers put over a dominant display for Dolph as he celebrates.

Backstage, Daniel Bryan is walking down the hall looking for Booker T. He eventually finds him in conversation with Teddy Long, and gets his attention.

Bryan: "Hey Booker. I know you're a busy guy so I'll keep it quick. The last week I have made Kane and the World Heavyweight Champion Big Show tap out. I think it's about time I got a shot at that title."

Before Booker can answer, Randy Orton enters the picture.

Orton: "If anyone's getting a title shot it's me. I came this close to beating Show last week, and on Raw I technically defeated the WWE Champion... and trust me, if he hadn't bailed the ring and got counted out, all it would have taken was one RKO. That's all it ever takes."

Booker deliberates for a moment, then turns to both men.

Booker: "You both got a good point, you both got a strong case. And I was just telling Teddy here that Big Show will be defending the World Heavyweight Championship at TLC. So how about this, tonight's main event will be a number one contendership match... between Daniel Bryan... and Randy Orton."

The crowd cheer at the announcement as Bryan and Orton stare-down.

Back live in the arena, the announcers are on camera discussing the Tag Team Championship situation. They note that Rhodes Scholars cheated to retain against Rey Mysterio and Sin Cara at Survivor Series, but that they were granted a rematch on the condition that they defeat Rhodes and Sandow in singles action. They then feed to a replay from Raw, where Mysterio defeated Sandow. They also replay Sin Cara being thrown into the ring steps and injuring his shoulder. Cody Rhodes's music hits, and to the surprise of the announcers he enters without Sandow. Cody makes his way to the ring with a mic.

"Last Monday night on Raw, Booker T stuck his nose where it does not belong. He told me that if I interfered in Damien Sandow's match with Rey Mysterio that we would be stripped of our Tag Team Championships. I find this largely insulting. To imply that a gentleman like myself would cheat is highly disrespectful, and it is only because of Booker's distraction on Monday that Rey was able to get a lucky win over my best friend. Well, our General Manager has done it again, he has banned Damien from ringside for my match tonight against Sin Cara. Does Booker T have any sense of what is fair, or is he still bitter than I ended his in-ring career last year? I still do not understand how winning singles matches earns a team a shot at the Champions of the Tag Division! Not to worry though, tonight I will defeat Sin Cara and put and end to The Luchadors' title ambitions once and for all."

The crowd boo as Cody poses with his title belt in the ring. Rey Mysterio's music hits, and he appears with Sin Cara. Rey has a mic.

"We don't want you to have any excuses for your loss tonight Cody. If Damien isn't at ringside, then I won't be either. It's just you and Sin Cara. But he will win tonight, and at TLC we will take the Tag Team Championships from you!"

Mysterio hugs his partner before heading backstage as Sin Cara makes his way to the ring, his right arm and shoulder strapped up to sell the effects of his injury. SmackDown goes to commercials 5 minutes into the match.

Cody dominates the match, capitalising on the injury. He goes for Cross Rhodes, but Sin Cara slips around the back and gets a roll-up win!

Sin Cara def. Cody Rhodes to earn The Luchadors a Tag Team Championship shot.

Rhodes attacks Sin Cara post-match, and Damien Sandow storms the ring at the pair beat down an injured Sin Cara. Mysterio comes to the rescue, but the damage has been done and Rhodes Scholars flee. Mysterio tends to his partner as the crowd boo.

The announcers sell disgust at the actions of Rhodes Scholars before feeding to Matt Stryker, who has Big Show for an interview. Strykre asks Show for his thoughts on defending his title against either Daniel Bryan or Randy Orton at TLC. Show answers:

"I do not need to think about things like this. Let me give you a few things to think about Matt. Daniel Bryan got a lucky win over me on Raw, lightning does not strike twice. And Randy Orton, who came out on top last week when he tried to topple the giant? It doesn't matter who wins tonight, Randy and Daniel are just fighting for the honor of getting knocked out by the World Heavyweight Champion at TLC. This title is going nowhere, nobody will ever take it from me. This interview is over!"

Show knocks out Stryker then walks away laughing.

Back with the announcers, Matthews sells concern for Stryker while JBL says it's the funniest thing he's ever seen. They transition to a replay from Main Event, where Antonio Cesaro left Zack Ryder knocked out after attacking him with a pipe. Ryder and Cesaro go one-on-one after the break.

SmackDown returns with an advert for Raw, CM Punk and John Cena will sign the contract for their WWE Championship match at TLC this Monday. Back live, Zack Ryder's music hits and an angry Ryder marches to the ring. United States Champion Antonio Cesaro then makes his entrance, but he stops at the top of the ramp and cuts a promo.

"Mr Ryder, I hope this past Wednesday has knocked some sence into you. Your quest for a shot at my United States Championship will end without success. You are not worthy of this Championship, and you are not worthy of a match with me. That is why I will not be competing tonight."

Cesaro drops the mic and exits as the crowd boo. Ryder stands frustrated in the ring before Kane's pyro suddenly hits, and The Big Red Machine appears with AJ. They walk to the ring as AJ speaks.

"It would appear that you no longer have an opponent Zack. We can help with that. See, my monster is not happy at losing to Ryback Monday Night on Raw. My monster is very angry, and he wants to take that anger out on somebody. Zack, Kane doesn't like you."

Kane enters the ring and begins to beat down Ryder, who puts up a good fight before been over-powered. The crowd boo as Kane signals for a Tombstone. He gets Ryder in position before Ryback's music hits to a big reaction from the crowd. Ryback appears, mic in hand.

"You are angry? I am not a hard man to find. Lets... fight!"

Ryback marches to the ring, Kane throws Ryder to the floor and waits for Ryback to enter the ring. Ryback hits the ring and the pair trade blows. Ryback gets the upper-hand and drops Kane with a Meathook Clothesline. The crowd chant "feed me more" as Ryback signals for ShellShock, but AJ enters the ring and slaps Ryback. Ryback reacts by grabbing AJ... and planting a kiss on her! The crowd cheer before Kane gets back to his feet. He is angry at Ryback putting his hands on AJ, and drops him with a Chokeslam. He picks up an angry AJ and carries her from the ring as his music plays and the crowd boo.

The announcers narrate over a replay of what just happened before two graphics appear on screen. Still to come tonight, Randy Orton takes on Daniel Bryan in a number one contendership match. But up next, Christian returns to action as he faces Wade Barrett to try and get into the Intercontinental Championship picture.

Back live, Wade Barrett's music hits and the Englishman makes his way to the ring as the announcers discuss his recent feud with Sheamus. Christian then makes his entrance as the announcers note it is his first match in a number of months after missing time through injury.

It's a great match that goes almost fifteen minutes. Barrett hits Wasteland on Christian, who kicks out at 2 to a big pop from the crowd. Barrett raises his elbowpad and signals for the Bullhammer when Sheamus's music hits. Sheamus appears on the ramp with a chair in hand. The distraction gives Christian enough time to hit the Killswitch for the win.

Christian def. Wade Barrett

Once the match is over, Sheamus makes his way to the ring with the chair. He attacks a grounded Barrett with the chair. Josh Matthews calls it an act of revenge, but JBL calls it an over-the-top attack on a defenseless man. Sheamus poses for the crowd with the chair before the announcers narrate replays. SmackDown goes to it's final commercial break after an advert for the upcoming number one contendership match.

Back live, Randy Orton's music hits as Lillian Garcia announces the winner of the match will face Big Show for the World Heavyweight Championship at TLC. The announcers sell excitement at the upcoming match between two of SmackDown's top babyfaces. Bryan is out as Orton's opponent. As the bell rings to start the match, Big Show's music hits to boos. The Champion makes his way to ringside and takes a seat to watch the match.

The match is given plenty of time, with both men getting in an equal amount of offense. Bryan thinks he has the match won with a diving headbutt but Orton kicks out at two. Minutes later, Orton lands an RKO out of nowhere. He goes for the cover, but Bryan get the shoulder up just in time as the announcers sell disbelief that he managed to kick out. Orton signals for a second RKO, but as he looks to connect Bryan hooks the arm and sinks in the No Lock in the middle of the ring. The crowd's going wild, Orton hangs on for 15-20 seconds before tapping out.

Daniel Bryan def. Randy Orton to become #1 contender to the World Heavyweight Championship.

Bryan celebrates the ring as Big Show gets to his feet. The Champion holds the title aloft at ringside and Bryan trades words with Show to close the show.

Default Re: WWE: Road To WM30

Monday Night Raw - 3rd December 2012

Raw begins live in the arena, where Mr McMahon's music hits to a loud reaction from the crowd. JR and Michael Cole welcome viewers to Monday Night Raw and note they're unsure what to expect from Vince tonight after he announced he would open the show. Vince struts to the ring and takes a mic from ringside.

Vince: "Welcome everyone to Monday Night Raw! Tonight promises to be a blockbuster show as always; your opening contest tonight will see Sheamus going one on one with Wade Barrett, and later on tonight CM Punk and John Cena will sign their WWE Championship TLC match contract right in the middle of this ring. And I know where a lot of you are thinking, you're thinking that Raw's General Manager could have made that announcement and you're wondering why the Chairman Of The Board is opening the show tonight. I am here for once purpose, and that is to formally instruct every WWE Superstar to be at Friday Night SmackDown this week. I have set the wheels in motion on a major announcement, and while I cannot reveal exactly the details tonight, I can promise that come Friday I will make a major announcement."

Before Vince can continue, Cult Of Personality hits to boos and CM Punk appears, flanked as always by Paul Heyman. Vince sells frustration as the announcers question what Punk's agenda is interrupting the boss. Punk enters the ring with Heyman, Punk has a mic.

Punk: "That's it? Vince McMahon steals the spotlight once again to announce that he will make an announcement? Please Vince, nobody is interested in seeing your wrinkly ass steal the spotlight from the WWE Champion. I have been the champion of his company – your company – for over 365 days and I am still not afforded the respect that I deserve. Time after time I am not given my rightful place in the main event slot of Raw, or of a major pay-per-view. If I'm not kicked out of the opening segment of the show to make way for Vince McMahon, then my WWE Championship matches are taken out of their rightful place in the main event slot of make way for whatever John Cena happens to be doing. I think it's about time you explain yourself to the Champ."

The crowd boo as Punk continues to yell in Vince's face. Vince keeps his composure.

Vince: "Well Mr Punk, I can answer that question for you. The simple answer is this. Despite your lengthy title reign, despite your pipebombs, and despite your claim to be the best in the world; these people pay their money to see John Cena. Wether they pay to boo or they pay to cheer, John Cena is still the man that gets the louded reaction from our audiences and as Chairman of this company I have to put our prize asset in the main event slot."

Punk is furious, but before he can say a word Heyman takes his mic.

Heyman: "Mr McMahon, sir, Mr Chairman. Respectfully, I have to disagree. John Cena once was the face of your organisation, yes. But John Cena has tried and failed on numerous occasions to take my client's WWE Championship. At TLC, he will fail again. I believe it's about time you swallowed your pride, sent your golden goose to the slaughter and officially announce your WWE Champion as the face your company..."

At this point Punk snatches the mic back from Heyman.

Punk: "... yeah Vince, and if you don't do it right here and right now then I might just have to break John Cena's back and give you no choice!"

The crowd boo Heyman and Punk. Vince is still calm.

Vince: "I don't think that's going to happen Paul. And Mr Punk, as the Chairman of this company you will address me accordingly. I don't give a crap how many days you've held that belt for, I have no problem whatsoever in firing your ass on the spot! Tonight you will sit at a table with John Cena and you will sign your contract, and I will personally oversee that contract signing. Within the contract you will sign is a clause that states the match will be placed in the main event slot of the pay-per-view.... But Punk, I think it's about time you stopped talking about been the best in the world and actually proved it."

Punk snaps and delivers a stiff kick to the head of Vince, who goes down clutching his head. Heyman panics, desperately pulling Punk back and instructing him to leave. Punk marches back up the ramp in an angry fashion as the ringside doctors checks on Mr McMahon. The announcers narrate over a replay of the incident before wondering what the ramifications will be for Punk. Raw goes to commercials as Vince continues to receive treatment in the ring.

Back live, Wade Barrett's music hits for the opening contest of the night. As he makes his way to the ring, Michael Cole tells viewers that Vince McMahon is continuing to receive treatment backstage and that as things stand Raw GM Jerry Lawler will be overseeing tonight's contract signing. Sheamus's music then hits, he sprints to the ring an begins to fight Barrett.

The match goes five minutes before the action spills to the outside. Barrett grabs a chair and delivers a massive shot to the back of Sheamus, drawing the DQ.

Sheamus def. Wade Barrett via disqualification

Barrett continues to beat Sheamus with the chair as the Irishman lays grounded on the floor. After a final shot, Barrett grabs a mic from Justin Roberts.

Barrett: "See there fella, this is what happens when you try and stop the great Barrett Barrage. I'm starting to like how beating you within an inch of your life with a chair feels, so how about at TLC we continue this little skirmish... in a Chairs match!"

Barrett picks the chair up again and delivers one last shot to Sheamus as the crowd boo.

Backstage, Matt Striker has Christian for an interview. Striker asks Christian how it feels to be back after a lengthy absence through injury.

Christian:
"Matt, it feels great. It felt great on Friday night to get back into the ring. It will feel great tonight when I team with Rey Mysterio and Sin Cara in tag action. This Wednesday it will feel great when I beat The Miz, and it will feel even better at TLC when I regain the Intercontinental Championship."

Laughter is heard before Rhodes Scholars interrupt.

Sandow: "Allow me to correct you sir. It will not feel good when you team with Rey Mysterio and Sin Cara tonight, quite the opposite, for you will be facing a trifecta consisting of the WWE Tag Team Champions and the Intercontinental Champion. Allow me to clarify for you young simpleton what this means – it means your evening will end in defeat."

Rhodes Scholars laugh to themselves and walk away. Christian turns back to Striker.

Christian: "You know what that guy needs? A spear."

Mysterio and Sin Cara walk into shot. The trio walk down the hall toward the gorilla position – their match is after the break.

An advert for Christian vs Miz on Main Event airs before Raw returns with Miz making his way to the ring. The announcers remind viewers that Christian will earn a shot at Miz's title if he can defeat Miz on Main Event this Wednesday. Rhodes Scholars then make their way to the ring as Miz's partners. Mysterio and Sin Cara are first out for the faces, before Christian makes his first Raw appearance in months to begin the match.

A fairly even match goes 10 minutes. With Christian and Sandow the legal men, Rysterio and Sin Cara hit a high-flying move to Miz and Rhodes outside the ring. Christian connects with a Spear to Sandow and picks up the win for his team.

Christian, Rey Mysterio & Sin Cara def. Rhodes Scholars & The Miz

Christian, Rey and Sin Cara celebrate in the ring before the action transitions backstage, where Zack Ryder knocks on Jerry Lawler's door. Ryder is clutching a video tape, and King lets him in the office.

Ryder: "Jerry bro, you gotta give me a shot at that US title! I eliminated Cesaro from the Survivor Series match last month, and I've been on a roll! I brought this DVD to show you."

Ryder puts the DVD in the player and asks King to watch the footage. It's a replay of Ryder defeating Dolph Ziggler to win the US Title at TLC last year. Once the footage finishes, Ryder continues.

Ryder: "Just listen to the crowd man, those guys were hyped! Zack Ryder winning the US Title was one of the highlights of 2011 bro, and if you let me at Cesaro this year I promise you will see the same thing again."

Lawler ponders for a moment, then replies.

King: "I remember that night Zack, and I must admit it was a great show. You really think you can replicate that? Then I'll do you a deal. You replicate that moment right here tonight – I will put you one-on-one with Dolph Ziggler, and if you can pick up the victory then you have your shot at the US Title at TLC."

An excited Ryder asks King if he's serious, to which King replies "you know it".

Back in the arena, Randy Orton's music hits and The Viper makes his way to the ring. Orton will be in singles action after the break.

As Raw returns, Vickie Guerrero's voice is heard to loud boos from the crowd. Vickie introduces Michael McGillicutty, who makes his way to the ring as Orton's opponent.

In a fairly short match, Orton has the upper-hand and begins to land his signature offense. He connects with his middle-rope DDT and signals for the RKO. Suddenly, a man in a cap storms the ring and attacks Orton drawing the DQ.

Randy Orton def. Michael McGillicutty via disqualification

It doesn't take the announcers long to figure out the attacker is Ted DiBiase, who draws boos from the crowd as Vickie laughs. DiBiase connects with Dream Street to Orton. Vickie enters the ring and raises the hands of DiBiase and McGillicutty. The announcers sell confusion before feeding backstage where Matt Striker is standing by for an interview.

Striker introduces Daniel Bryan, who gets a cheer from the crowd. Striker feeds to footage of Bryan making Randy Orton tap out on SmackDown to become number one contender to Big Show's World Heavyweight Championship. Striker goes on to ask Bryan if he's confident going into TLC.

Bryan: "YES! YES! YES! I have proved over the last few weeks that I can make anyone tap out. You name any other man who has made Kane, Big Show and Randy Orton submit? I think you'll struggle. See, I know what it takes to defeat Big Show for the World Heavyweight Championship, I've done it before! The difference this time is I won't be taking advantage of an already weakened opponent. I will be the man doing the weakening as I carefully target a weak spot on Show, and it will only be a matter of time before I make the Giant submit again and become the new World Heavyweight Champion!"

Striker then asks Bryan for his thoughts going into his upcoming tag team match.

Bryan: "I am a former Tag Team Champion. I have no love lost for Kane, and for me tonight is just another chance to make Big Show tap like a bitch!"

Bryan chants YES! repeatedly and walks away.

Back in the arena, Kane's pyro hits to boos and The Big Red Machine makes his way to the ring. He is accompanied by AJ, who has a mic.

AJ: "Who the hell does Ryback think he is? To put his big, sweaty, ugly hands on me and kiss me! UGH! Well Ryback, you must have a death wish, because you have angered my Monster."

Before AJ can say anything else, Big Show's music hits and Justin Roberts announces the following is a tag team match. The World Champion makes his way to the ring and stands side-by-side with Kane, as the pair stare up the ramp waiting for their opponents. Daniel Bryan's music hits first and he appears, but waits on the stage for Ryback, who gets a big reaction when his music plays. Ryback and Bryan storm the ring and all four men begin trading blows. Ryback and Kane continue to fight in the corner as Bryan knocks Show over the top rope and out of the ring with a dropkick. Bryan exits the ring as Show tries to retreat, and the pair fight up the ramp and through the curtain.

In the ring, Ryback has the upper-hand on Kane. The fans chant Feed Me More as he signals for the Meathook, but AJ jumps on his back. The distraction allows Kane to smother Ryback's face and choke him out. The crowd boo as Ryback fades out, and JR puts over Kane reverting to the deadly choke.

Backstage, Bryan and Show are still fighting. Show keeps trying to hit Bryan, but Bryan is took quick and keep doging and landing kicks to show. Show finally connects with a WMD, knocking Bryan clean out. Show laughs to himself as Raw goes to commercials.

Kane & Big Show vs Daniel Bryan & Ryback doesn't get started, no contest.

Raw returns with the announcers, who replay the events at the top of the show where CM Punk kicked Vince McMahon in the head. JR says McMahon was advised to go to a nearby hospital. But the Chairman refused and left the medical room on his own feet. His current wareabouts are unknown. Cole argues that Punk's actions could not only see him stripped of his WWE Championship, but fired right here tonight!

Dolph Ziggler's music then hits, and he makes his way to the ring with his Money In The Bank briefcase. Zack Ryder is out as his opponent to a big pop, with the announcers reminding fans Ryder will earn a US title shot if he wins tonight. Current US Champ Antonio Cesaro is shown watching the action on a monitor backstage.

Ziggler dominates the majority of the match, mocking Ryder's Woo Woo Woo chants to the annoyance of the crowd. Ziggler looks to further humiliate Ryder by going for a Broski Boot, but Ryder avoids the contact and gets a roll-up on Ziggler for the win!

Zack Ryder def. Dolph Ziggler to earn a United States Championship match.

Ryder celebrates and the crowd explodes, but the cheers soon turn to boos as an angry Ziggler hits Ryder with a Superkick. Ziggler grabs his briefcase from ringside and storms up the ramp. Backstage, Cesaro is shown laughing at Ryder.

Jerry Lawler is in his office on the phone.

King: "No Booker I've no idea what Mr McMahon's announcement is going to be on Friday, but I have instructed the entire Raw roster to be there as per his request. I gotta go, I have a contract signing to oversee."

King goes to leave his office, but in walks an angry Randy Orton. Orton tells King he wants a shot at Ted DiBiase after he interfered in his match earlier. King tells Orton he is busy with the contract signing, but gives Orton his match against DiBiase this Wednesday on Main Event. King exits his office, the announcers tell fans the contract signing is after the break.

Raw returns live in the arena, where Jerry Lawler is in the ring with a contract in his hands. There is a table and two chairs in the ring.

King: "Ladies and gentlemen, in the absence of Mr. McMahon I will be overseeing tonight's contract signing. When I took this job one of the first things I promised everybody was that I would not let my past issues with CM Punk interfere with my role, and I promised that I would continue to call it down the middle. And while I stand by that promise, I think I speak for everybody when I say that CM Punk's actions earlier tonight were appalling. The WWE Champion has an obligation to be a role model to everyone watching, and for our Champion to kick a defenseless 67-year-old man in the head because he didn't like what I heard was one of the most cowardly things I've ever seen in my life."

Cult Of Personality hits to loud boos and CM Punk appears on stage with a smirk on his face. Paul Heyman follows Pnk, carrying the Championship belt. Punk has a mic and speaks while he makes his way to the ring.

Punk: "That's your problem King, you just don't know when to shut your mouth. You want to talk about people's obligations? How about Vince's obligation to put the spotlight on the champion of his company? I have no regrets about my actions tonight, and if you don't watch your mouth I will do the same to you. I'm here for one thing and that's to sign this contract so I can get the hell out of this hell hole."

Punk takes a seat at the table as the crowd boo. Lawler stares at Punk as the announcers sell disgust at the level of disrespect Punk is showing. John Cena's music then hits to a big face cheer, and Cena makes his way to the ring with a serious look on his face. Cena takes a seat opposite Punk.

Cena: "This contract, this match, it represents many things to me. It represents a shot at the WWE Championship, a championship I haven't held in over a year, a championship I need to validate that main event slot that is upsetting you oh so bad. It represents a shot at The Rock, a shot at my redemption. Beating you at TLC gives me that chance to get another shot at Rock, a chance to prove that I can beat him. Defending the WWE Championship against The Rock at the Royal Rumble would make up for the WrestleMania loss that nearly broke me. But more than anything right now, it represents a chance for me to beat some respect into you."

Punk: "Oh please John, you want to talk to me about respect? I am the WWE Champion, how about you show me some respect, huh? You're already planning title defenses in your head? You can't beat me John, you never could, you can dream about another shot at Dwayne all you like..."

King: "Gentlemen please. We're here to sign the contract."

King places the contract on the table. Punk is the first to sign, scribbling his name without reading it. He throws the contract at Cena, when suddenly Vince McMahon's music hits to a pop from the crowd. Punk gets to his feet and faces the ramp as Vince re-appears, looking angry.

Vince: "I should fire you on the spot Punk, and I would have no trouble justifying that decision to the Board Of Directors. But that's never been my way. I am a man, and when a man brings a fight to me I do not back down. So CM Punk, I will not be firing you tonight. But next Monday Night on Raw, I will be fighting you!"

The crowd cheers as Vince continues.

Vince: "Punk you're going to get in that ring with me... with me... and tables... and ladders... and chairs!"

Behind Punk, Cena is seen signing the contract. He then spins Punk around and delivers an Attitude Adjustment through the table! Cena stands tall, and Raw goes off the air with Vince still looking angry.

WWE Main Event – Wednesday 5th December

Vickie Guerrero opens the show and introduces her newest client... Ted DiBiase.

Randy Orton def. Ted DiBiase via DQ when Michael McGillicutty jumps Orton. McGillicutty and DiBiase beat down The Viper.

Christian def. The Miz with a Spear to earn an Intercontinental Championship match at TLC.

WWE Superstars – Thursday 6th December

Damien Sandow def. Alex Riley

Zack Ryder def. Primo

Big Show def. Brodus Clay

SmackDown – Friday 7th December

SmackDown begins with a live shot of the locker room, where the WWE superstars are gathered around a TV monitor. Live in the arena, Mr McMahon's music hits to a big ovation from the crowd. The Chairman makes his way to the ring as Josh Matthews and JBL welcome viewers to SmackDown and remind us that we are moments away from Mr McMahon's big announcement. Vince soaks up the applause in the ring before taking a mic.

Vince: "Ladies and gentlemen of the WWE Universe. I'm here this Friday night to tell you about a Board meeting that took place a couple of weeks ago. Myself and the rest of the Board discussed serveral aspects of our business, and in particular ways in which we can improve our product and ensure you are getting the very best entertainment across all of our shows. We came out of that board meeting with a very clear conclusion, and with the WWE Universe in mind it is with great happiness that I can formally announce that the Raw/SmackDown brand split is officially over!"

The crowd cheer and Vince continues.

Vince: "This means you can expect to see the likes of John Cena and CM Punk across all of our shows, wether it be Raw, SmackDown, Main Event or Superstars. Now, some obvious questions were brought up at the meeting so let me put some of those questions to bed right now. There will be no title unification – both the WWE Championship and World Title have tremendous lineage and history and we want to continue those. As for Jerry Lawler and Booker T, they will continue to run their respective shows. So on a Monday Night the superstars will answer to Jerry Lawler, and on Fridays the show is run by Booker T. Both men will have equal responsibility for the booking of Championship matches and the running of pay-per-view events..."

Before Vince can continue, Cult Of Personality hits to boos as CM Punk makes an appearance. The announcers sell concern for Vince after Punk kicked him in the head last Monday, and remind fans that Vince is set to face Punk in a TLC match on Raw next week. Punk and Paul Heyman make their way to the ring, Vince stands his ground as Punk takes a mic.

Punk: "Hooray! Hooray! Whatever Vince. Nobody tunes in to watch you talk. They tune in to watch the best in the world CM Punk fight. I think when I kicked you in the head this week I did some damage, because now you just aren't thinking clearly. You want to face the WWE Champion in a Tables Ladders and Chairs match this Monday? Are you crazy? Vince, if you step into the ring with me on Monday I will kill you! And if you don't believe that... just ask your buddy Jerry Lawler."

Punk smirks as the crowd boo, he then continues.

Punk: "But see Vince, I've got quite a busy week next week. Next Sunday I have the formality of defeating John Cena and retaining my WWE Championship, so I'm not real keen on having to face anyone on Monday night. But if you want to fight me so bad, I say we do it right here right now."

Punk takes off his jacket and squares up to Vince as Paul Heyman laughs. Vince stands his ground and smiles back at Punk.

Vince: "I'm glad you're dressed for a fight CM Punk. But before that, I want to take you back to Monday night for one moment. Monday night you signed a contract for the main event at TLC. Well CM Punk, I suggest you go back and read that contract back and enjoy what you signed. See, the print on that contract clearly reads that the main event at TLC next Sunday will be 'John Cena versus the WWE Champion'..."

Punk: "Yeah, so, I'm the WWE Champion!"

Vince: "...Let me spell it out for you Mr Punk. There are eight days between now and TLC. And yes, at the moment you are the WWE Champion. But you might not be by the end of the night..."

Punk: "WHAT!?"

Vince: "You're dressed to fight, you want to fight? You are going to fight CM Punk, and you are going to defend you WWE Championship right here right now against the first man who walks down that isle... See ya Monday."

Vince exits the ring as the crowd cheers. Punk is furious in the ring.

Punk: "Are you serious? Right now? Are you kidding me? I'll kill you Vince!"

As Vince walks up the ramp, Ryback's music hits to a big reaction from the crowd. Ryback shakes Vince's hand and makes his way to the ring for an impromptu WWE Championship match. JBL calls Vince's decision a "biased injustice", Punk fleas the ring and has to be calmed down by Heyman ringside. Heyman is heard telling Punk he is the best in the world and that he can beat anyone. Punk agrees, and enters the ring for the match.

The match goes ten minutes, with Punk targeting Ryback's legs to keep the big man grounded. Ryback makes the comeback and scores with a Meathook Clothesline, he goes for the cover but only gets the 2! Ryback signals for ShellShock as Kane's pyro shoots in the ring. Kane's music plays and Ryback turns to face the ramp, where AJ is standing with a smile on her face. Punk takes advantage of the distraction and rolls up Ryback for the win.

CM Punk def. Ryback to retain the WWE Championship

Punk quickly exists the ring and retreats up the ramp with Heyman as he clutches his belt. Ryback stands in the ring with an angry look on his face. Kane then appears on the titantron, and laughs at Ryback.

Kane: "For months people have been saying that I am no longer a monster, that I am no longer a man to be scared of. I am scared of no man, but all men should be scared of me. That includes you Ryback. I'm glad our paths have crossed. I want to fight you Ryback, at TLC I will prove to the world that I am still the Big Red Machine and that the world should be scared."

Kane's pyro shoots again, but Ryback stands unafraid. He simply nods his head, and announcers speculate that a match has been made official for TLC. They then narrate over a replay of the previous match, before revealing some big matches for tonight: Kane meets John Cena in singles action, and Daniel Bryan goes one-on-one with Wade Barrett. After the break, the US and Intercontinental Champions will team up as they face Christian and Zack Ryder in tag action.

Back live, Antonio Cesaro is competing his entrance. The Miz's music then hits to bring out the Intercontinental Champion, who makes his way to the ring with a mic in his hand.

Miz: "Wednesday night on Main Event Christian got lucky and scored the win of his career when he pinned me. He thinks he's earned a title shot at TLC, but all he's earned is embarrasment. I will defeat Christian at TLC and I will go on to become the longest reigning Intercontinental Champion of all time... because I'm The Miz... and I'm... Awesome!"

Miz and Cesaro shake hands in the ring as Zack Ryder's music hits. He waits on the ramp for Christian, who gets a big reaction from the crowd. Josh Matthews notes it's a big chance for Ryder and Christian to build some momentum ahead of their title matches at TLC.

Early in the match, Christian tweaks his knee when he misses a top-rope move. Christian is unable to continue and has to be taken to the back by medical staff, leaving Ryder to face Cesaro and Miz on his own. Despite a valiant effort, the numbers catch up with him and Cesaro finishes him off with The Neutraliser for the win.

The Miz & Antonio Cesaro def. Zack Ryder & Christian

Cesaro places one foot on the fallen Ryder and holds his championship aloft as the crowd boo.

Backstage, Booker T is in his office discussing the end of the brand split with Jerry Lawler and Teddy Long. A knock at the door is heard, and Randy Orton walks into the office.

Booker: "Randy, it's a busy night, what you want?"

Orton: "I am sick to death of Vickie Guerrero and he stooges jumping me from behind and interfering in my matches."

Booker: "I actually agree wit' you Randy, so I tell you what. You get your choice of Michael McGillicutty or Ted DiBiase, which one do you wanna face tonight?"

Orton: "Both."

Booker: "Both of them? You sure? Then you got yourself a handicap match."

Orton exits the office and Booker continues talking to Lawler and Long. SmackDown goes to break.

SmackDown returns with Matt Striker, who has World Heavyweight Champion Big Show for an interview. Striker asks Show for his thoughts on the end of the brand split.

Show:
"It doesn't matter to me, I am a giant, I will crush anybody from any show if I want. What matters to me right now is two things; this World Heavyweight Championship... and Daniel Bryan. Did you hear what Daniel Bryan called me on Monday? He called me a bitch! Daniel Bryan has angered the Giant, so here's what I am going to do. I am going to take Daniel Bryan, I'm going to rip his ugly goat beard off of his face, I'm going to knock Daniel Bryan out and I'm going to squash him to the point he resembles a Veggie Burger. And you know what, I don't think I can wait until TLC."

Show laughs to himself, then delivers a WMD to Striker.

Live in the arena, Tyson Kidd is in the ring ready for a match. Dolph Ziggler's music hits, and an angry Mr Money In The Bank makes his way to the ring. Dolph gets a clean win in 3 minutes with a Superkick.

Dolph Ziggler def. Tyson Kidd

Ziggler demands a mic from ringside.

Dolph: "Monday Night was the most embarrassing defeat of my career. But I'm glad it happened. Losing to Zack Ryder was the wake-up call that I needed. I am Mr Money In The Bank, to become Mr Money In The Bank I had to overcome a multi-man ladder match. I also defended this briefcase against Chris Jericho... successfully! I believe in myself, this contract practically guarantees that I am your next World Champion. And it may be sooner than you think. Let me promise you, when I do cash this in and become Champion, it will steal the show."

Ziggler's music plays and he smiles into the camera as the announcers debate when Ziggler will cash in.

Backstage, John Cena is shown on camera. He is stood by Scott Standford, who asks Cena for his thoughts on the end of the brand split.

Cena: "Wait a minute, where's the other guy?"

Standford:
"Matt Striker? He was knocked out by Big Show a few minutes back, he's in the medical room."

Cena: "Oh, that's unfortunate. Anyways, the brand split. I think it's great, it means I get to show my face on SmackDown again, it'll be like the good old days! We start things with a bang tonight, I step into the ring with a Big Red Machine and a crazy lady. I have my history with Kane, we have literally torn each other apart in the past. So tonight will be no picnic. Then in 8 nights, I get the chance to walk my road to redemption. My record against CM Punk is not great, in fact it stinks. But I can put that right, I can take the WWE Championship and I can walk into the Royal Rumble to get another shot at The Rock. I need that second chance, I need to face The Rock again. I need it more than anyone can imagine."

Paul Heyman interrupts the interview.

Heyman: "Mr Cena, I think you should afford the WWE Champion a little more respect. CM Punk is better than you, he has proved it on many occasions now. But hey, don't take it personally, he's better than everybody, he is the best in the world. Before you get to my client, you have to get through Kane, and I can tell you he does not look in the best of moods. Personally I don't think you'll make it to TLC."

Cena: "And personally I don't think you'll every make it into a pair of skinny jeans."

Cena pats Heyman on the shoulder and walks away. Stanford is laughing, Heyman asks him why he's laughing. An angry Heyman also walks away, and Stanford feeds back to the announcers.

Live in the arena, Wade Barrett's music hits and he makes his way to the ring for his upcoming match. The announcers plug TLC, which will include a Chairs match between Barrett and Sheamus. Daniel Bryan's music hits, but as he appears on the ramp he is jumped from behind by Big Show. The crowd boo as Show beats down Bryan. Show delivers a WMD to Bryan, leaving him knocked out at the top of the stage. SmackDown focuses on a laughing Big Show and goes to commercial.

Back live, Wade Barrett is still in the ring and has taken a mic.

Barrett:
"It would appear that Daniel Bryan will not be able to compete tonight. It's inconsequential, if he had stepped in this ring against me he would have ended up in the same sorry state he is in now. Nevertheless, I was scheduled for a match tonight and as my opponent did not make it into the ring I would like a referee to come down here and declare me the winner as the result of a forfeit."

The crowd boo as Barrett stands waiting for a referee. The crowd pops when Sheamus's music hits, and the Celtic Warrior appears on stage wearing a referee shirt and carrying a chair. Sheamus storms the ring, but Barrett makes a quick escape through the crowd. Sheamus pounds the chair with his fist as the announcers hype their upcoming Chairs match.

Backstage, Scott Stanford is outside the medical room.

Stanford: "I am outside the medical room here backstage and I can tell you that I have been speaking with our physio, he has confirmed that Christian has suffered a knee injury but it is not expected to prevent him from challenging for the Intercontinental Championship at TLC... Oh and for those of you concerned about the wellbeing of Matt Striker, he hasn't come around yet!"

Back live, Kane's pyro hits to boos as the Big Red Machine and AJ appear on stage. As they make their way to the ring, a replay of earlier is shown from earlier in the night when Kane's distraction prevented Ryback from winning the WWE Championship. John Cena's music hits to a positive reaction from the crowd, and he enters the ring for his match in typical fashion.

10 minutes in, Cena hits an Attitude Adjustment on Kane and goes for the cover, but AJ hops on to the apron and distracts the referee. The ref ejects AJ from ringside, but it gives Kane enough time to get to his feet and land a Chokeslam on Cena. Before he can go for the cover, Ryback's music hits! In similar fashion to Ryback's match earlier when Kane's music hits, Kane looks toward the entrance for Ryback but he does not appear. Kane then walks into an Attitude Adjustment from Cena, who gets the win.

John Cena def. Kane

The announcers comment on the mind games Ryback and Kane are trading, and say it will be a physical encounter when the pair meet at TLC in 8 nights. Still to come tonight, Randy Orton faces Ted DiBiase and Michael McGillicutty in a handicap match. But up next, it's the Raw Rebound. SmackDown goes to commercials.

The Raw Rebound is a video package on CM Punk attacking Vince McMahon and the following contract signing. As SmackDown returns, the announcers hype Monday nights TLC match between McMahon and Punk. They then feed to a replay of McMahon declaring the end of the brand split at the top of tonights show.

Backstage, Sin Cara and Rey Mysterio are in conversation when they are attacked from behind by Rhodes Scholars. The Tag Champs beat down Mysterio and Cara and then strike them with a nearby ladder, then Sandow yells "you're welcome" as they walk away.

Live in the arena, Vickie Guerrero yells "Excuse me" to massive heat as she stands on the stage.

Vickie: "Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome my latest clients and the future of WWE... Michael McGillicutty and Ted DiBiase!"

McGillicutty and DiBiase make their way to the ring as the announcers wonder why they have targeted Orton of late. The Viper's music then hits to a big reaction from the crowd and Orton storms the ring, jumping DiBiase and the match is underway.

Orton starts the match well but the handicap advantage is with DiBiase and McGillicutty and they begin to dominate. McGillicutty hits the PerfectPlex, but Orton kicks out at 2! McGillicutty tags in DiBiase, who connects with Dream Street, but again it's only good for 2! McGillicutty re-enters the ring and the pair attempt a double-suplex, but Orton swings around and delivers a double-RKO which gets a massive pop from the crowd. Orton pins McGillicutty for the win.

Randy Orton def. Michael McGillicutty & Ted DiBiase

McGillicutty and DiBiase roll out of the ring and Orton milks the cheers of the crowd, performing his trademark pose on the turnbuckle. As he gets back down, he is ambushed by a returning Alberto Del Rio! The crowd boo as Del Rio pounds away on Orton, with the announcers reminding viewers of their recent feud that saw Del Rio sidelined with injury. Del Rio throws Orton to the outside and rolls him onto the announce table. He picks up Orton and delivers an RKO to The Viper through the table!

JBL announces Del Rio is back with a bang, the imagine of a fallen Orton is the last of the show.

Default Re: WWE: Road To WM30

Monday Night Raw - 10th December 2012

Raw begins with a recap video on the events of the last few weeks:
  • John Cena wins a #1 contendership match to earn a shot at CM Punk's WWE Championship
  • Cena wants a second chance against The Rock, winning the WWE Championship is the only way he can do it.
  • CM Punk demands more respect from WWE Chairman Vince McMahon.
  • Punk kicks Vince in the head.
  • Rather than firing Punk, Vince wants to "beat some respect into him" and books Punk vs McMahon in a TLC match... tonight!

Live in the arena, the ringside area is strewn with tables, ladders and chairs as JR and Michael Cole welcome viewers to the final Monday Night Raw before TLC. John Cena's music then hits to a mainly positive reaction from the fans. Cena has his serious face on, and he makes his trademark enterance. JR notes Cena is scheduled to face Intercontinental Champion The Miz in the opening bout of the night as Cena takes a mic from ringside.

Cena: "Tick tock. Tick tock. Tick tock. For over a year now CM Punk has been counting upwards the number of days he has been the WWE Champion. Tonight is the night that CM Punk and the rest of the WWE Universe begin counting down. We're counting down from 6 ladies and gentlemen, because in 6 nights at TLC I will finally defeat CM Punk and put an end to his championship reign. Now I know what some of you are thinking, you're thinking 'hey John, you've lost to CM Punk countless times, what's so different on Sunday?'. And you'd be right to point that out, but this Sunday there is something other than the WWE Championship on the line, something that means just as much to me as that title, and that is The Rock. Back at Raw 1000 Rock announced that he had been granted a shot at the WWE Championship at the Royal Rumble. Me and Rocky have some unfinished business after WrestleMania 28. I know I can beat The Rock. I need to beat The Rock. The only way to get at Rock is to go through Punk and get my hands on the WWE Championship, and I promise that is what I'm going to do!"

Cena is interrupted by Miz's music, and the Intercontinental Champion appears on the stage to boos. Miz speaks as he approaches the ring.

Miz: "Really? WrestleMania 28? How about we rewind things another year John. You weren't getting pinned by The Rock that night, you were getting pinned by The Miz! Nobody is buying TLC on Sunday to see you lose to CM Punk again, the star attraction of that show is The Miz. People are on the egde of their seats as they watch me edge closer to Honky Tonks Intercontinental Championship record, and you can believe me when I say that long after CM Punk's reign has ended mine will still be going. Because I'm The Miz... and I'm... awesome!"

The crowd boo and Miz enters the ring for the opening bout of the night.

As the match continues, Christian is shown backstage watching the match on a monitor as he scouts his TLC opponent. It's a typical Cena match, Miz has the advantage in the early-going before Cena makes his trademark comeback. He nails the Attitude Adjustment for the clean win.

John Cena def. The Miz

Michael Cole says Cena is on a roll, and questions if beating the Intercontinental Champion is a sign of things to come this Sunday as he looks to become WWE Champion again. Cena celebrates in the ring as the action transitions backstage, where Christian is shown laughing at Miz's loss. Scott Stanford interrupts for an interview, and asks Christian on his thoughts going into TLC.

Christian: "I'm thinking that what you just saw there – Miz getting pinned – is a sneak preview of what you'll see at TLC this Sunday. See, back at Raw 1000 Miz defeated me and ended my Intercontinental Championship reign. I haven't forgotten about that, and I intend to put it right."

Stanford then asks Christian for an update on the ankle injury he picked up last Friday on SmackDown. The camera shows Christian's ankle is bandaged.

Christian: "It's not ideal Scotty, but I'm pretty sure I'll be able to go on it."

Laughter is heard down the hall before Damien Sandow and Cody Rhodes interrupt the interview.

Sandow: "Is that so young miscreant? Well we shall see tonight shan't we, as unfortunately for you your ankle is to be squashed by I, Damien Sandow."

Christian: "Hmm, if I remember rightly the last time we were in the same ring I speared you out of your little pink panties."

Sandow is lost for words, Rhodes tells him to walk away and the Tag Champs exit. Raw goes to commercial.

Raw returns with a video package on previous high spots from TLC matches, before transitioning into a package on the history of CM Punk and John Cena. Back live in the arena, the camera is on JR and Michael Cole. They feed to footage "received moments ago" from a camera phone, which shows Wade Barrett attacking Sheamus in a nearby bar. Barrett gets the upper-hand and smashes a pool que over Sheamus's back.

Back live in the arena, Vickie Guerrero is heard yelling "excuse me" and the crowd erupt with boos. Guerrero tells the crowd to stand and welcome the future of WWE, Michael McGillicutty! McGillicutty and Ted DiBiase make appear, and DiBiase takes a mic. The three make their way to the ring as DiBiase speaks.

DiBiase: "How dare you ugly people boo our manager! We have been thinking about what Vickie says, that we are the future of this company, and we agree. But our main focus right now is to prove that we are superior to our fathers. I myself am taking the name Ted DiBiase to new heights. But Mike... well, he isn't to be called Mike anymore. See, he gave himself a new name because he didn't want to be associated with his father. But I've spoken to him, and we have concluded that the best way to prove he is better than Curt Hennig to go by the same name as his father. So please show some respect not for Michael McGillicutty, but for Joe Hennig, the Perfect Son!"

Vickie is applauding in an over-exaggerated manor until Ryback's music hits, which draws panicked looks from the trio and huge cheers from the crowd. Cole and Ross note Ryback is in a foul mood after Kane cost him the WWE Championship on Friday, before reminding viewers Ryback faces Kane at TLC on Sunday.

In a short match, Ryback gets the win with ShellShock.

Ryback def. Joe Hennig

JR makes a sarcastic remark that it's a "less than perfect start for Joe Hennig" before feeding to a replay from Friday Night SmackDown where Alberto Del Rio delivered an RKO through the announce table to Randy Orton. Ross tells viewers that Orton is unable to compete tonight, but that Del Rio will return to the ring tonight when he faces Rey Mysterio.

Backstage, Vince McMahon is in the locker room taping up his wrists. In walks Jerry Lawler, who speaks to Vince in hushed tones.

Lawler: "Vince, I know what's going through your mind right now. You're angry, and you should be, you want to hurt CM Punk the way that he hurt you last week. But Vince, I gotta say, I don't think this is a great idea. I mean, we're not getting any younger, and when I thought I could step into the ring and beat some manors into CM Punk is was nearly the death of me. I'd hate to see the same thing happen to you sir, I think you should reconsider the TLC match tonight."

King:
"Jerry, I know what I have to do. I've never walked away from a fight in my life. CM Punk brought the fight to me last week, and I'm going to take it to him like a man tonight... even if it kills me."

Jerry wishes Vince look and exits the locker room.

Daniel Bryan is making his way to the gorilla position for his match against Kane when he is attacked from behind by Big Show. Show delivers a Cholkeslam on the concrete floor before telling Bryan "I'll see you Sunday, bitch". Raw goes to commercial with Cole wondering if Bryan will be able to compete tonight.

Raw returns with an advert for SmackDown, highlighting the end of the brand split and saying every superstar will be in attendance for the final show before TLC. Live in the arena, Kane's pyro hits and the Big Red Machine makes his way to the ring with AJ. The announcers note that Kane and Daniel Bryan had a less than amicable split after losing the Tag Team Championships, but Cole says he doubts the match will even go ahead after Bryan was Cholkeslammed backstage just moments ago.

There is a long pause as Kane waits in the ring before Bryan's music hits, drawing a pop from the crowd. Bryan appears on stage, clutching his ribs and clearly in pain. JR questions the wisdom of stepping into the ring while injured just days before competing for the World Heavyweight Championship.

Bryan puts up a valiant effort in the match, but Kane targets the injured ribs of Bryan and hits his own Cholkeslam to get the win.

Kane def. Daniel Bryan

Kane throws Bryan out of the ring as AJ enters the ring with a mic.

AJ: "Now that my monster has exercised the demons of Team Hell No once and for all, he can and will turn his attentions to Ryback. Ryback who thinks it is acceptable to put his sweaty hands on an angel like myself. Ha! Ryback is always telling us to feed him more, this Sunday he will find out that he has bitten off more than he can chew."

AJ laughs as Kane shoots his pyro. The pair exit the ring as the announcers feed to Scott Stanford backstage, who has WWE Champion CM Punk for an interview.

Stanford: "CM Punk, you are 6 nights away from defending your WWE Championship against John Cena in a Tables Ladder and Chairs match, but before then you face our Chairman Vince McMahon in another TLC match. Your thoughts..."

Punk: "I'll give you my thoughts. I think this whole week is about me finally commanding some respect around here. For the last 18 months I have proved time and time against that I am better than John Cena, that John Cena cannot beat me, yet who has featured in the majority of the main event matches this year? John Cena, that's who. And why is that? Vince McMahon is why. Last week when I kicked the old man in the side of his head he should have gotten the message that I am not afraid of authority, I am the best in the world and I will do whatever I like. Vince wants to try and relive his glory days and step into the ring with a guy like me? Then he deserves everything he's got coming to him. So after I've finished beating some respect out of Vinnie Mac, I will walk into TLC on Sunday and once again defeat John Cena. And then on to the Royal Rumble and Rocky. Rocky who thinks he can show up at a minutes notice and get a shot at the title that I have single-highhandedly made prestigious again. I am the best in the world, and I don't care who I have to go through to prove it to you. Now if you'll excuse me, I've a match... no, a massacre to prepare for."

Back live in the arena, JR calls Punk sick and expresses concern for Vince as Rhodes Scholars music hits. Damien Sandow and Cody Rhodes make their way to the ring with a smile on their face, holding the Tag Team Championships aloft. Sandow takes a mic from ringside.

Sandow: "Allow me to beg your indulgence for just one moment. My name is Damien Sandow, this here is my best friend Cody Rhodes, and we are your WWE Tag Team Champions. Before I proceed with the formality of a victory over that ignoramus Christian – who I am led to believe is not actually a Catholic despite his misleading name – I would like to direct your attention to the following replay from last Friday night..."

A replay of Rhodes Scholars attacking Rey Mysterio and Sin Cara backstage airs, which concluded with Rhodes Scholars using ladders to leave The Luchadors fallen.

Sandow: "... myself and Cody feel Booker T's decision to allow Rey Mysterio and Sin Cara a second opportunity at our hard-earned Championships is unjust, so we took matters into our own hands and showed Mr Mysterio and his masked companion that we are the better men. Just like my victory over Christian tonight, Rhodes Scholars walking out of TLC with these Championship belts is a mere formality."

The crowd boo as Rhodes Scholars pose, before Booker T appears on the Titantron.

Booker: "Hey there boy! Now look, you and Cody wanna run around attacking people with ladders to try and get out of defending your titles? That's not how it rolls when Booker T is in charge. Now I been talking wit' Jerry Lawler and we have come to a decision – we think that as you like to use ladders so much, you will have no issue defending your Tag Team Championships against Rey Mysterio and Sin Cara in 6 nights... in a ladder match! Now can you dig that, suckaaa?"

Booker disappears from the screen as Sandow rants.

Sandow: "Dig what? Explain your self ignoramus! What kind of language is that?"

Before he can continue, Christian's music hits to a big reaction from the crowd. Christian makes his way to the ring as Raw heads to a break.

In a 7 minute match the action is even, before Christian gains the upper-hand. He crouches in the corner and signals for the Spear, but unbeknownst to the referee Cody has hold of Christian's injured ankle. Christian kicks him away and attempts a Spear, but Sandow avoids the contact and rams Christian's shoulder into the ring post. It's followed by a roll-up with a hand full of tights for the 3.

Damien Sandow def. Christian

Sandow and Rhodes celebrate as if they had won a WrestleMania match, with Sandow composing himself before performing a cartwheel as the crowd boo. Christian is seen clutching his ankle before Raw transitions backstage.

Vince McMahon is on the phone.

Vince: "No Hunter you will stay away, this is my fight."

In walks John Cena, and Vince hangs up the phone.

Cena: "Vince, man. Me and you are in the same boat right now. I know how it feels to be preparing for a TLC match with CM Punk. I mean, he may be a disrespectful SOB but he is a violent man, giving CM Punk access to weapons like chairs, ladders and tables is daunting for any man. Hell, I'm a little worried that I might not walk out of TLC in one piece, and I'm not a 67 year old man. Now look, I know you're not gonna change your mind and that's cool. But Vince, there's no disqualifications in a TLC match, I could be right out there with you tonight..."

Vince cuts Cena off before he can continue.

Vince: "I know where you're going with this John and the answer is no. I want nobody getting involved in the match tonight. I know what you're like, you're going to want to make the superhero rescue and get your hands on Punk. But I'm fighting this fight by myself. John, if you interere in the match tonight then your Championship match on Sunday is off. Do I make myself clear?"

Cena: "Crystal sir... good luck out there."

Cena exits Vince's office and Raw goes to commercials.

Raw returns with a vignette. In a dark room, lights are switched on to reveal an empty gym. The camera focuses on a pair of large black hands chalking his hands up. The mystery man then lays on a bench press table and begins to lift weights. The words "COMING SOON" appear as the vignette ends.

Live in the arena, Antonio Cesaro in in the ring with a mic.

Cesaro: "As the Champion of this nation, it has saddened me to hear some Americans claim that I am afraid of Zack Ryder. I am afraid of no man. Zack Ryder is not worthy of my time, but I am a fighting Champion and I will put a swift and painful end to Mr Ryder this Sunday. But before then, I have to remind the people of this nation just how dangerous it's Champion is. I am the single greatest United States Champion of all time, and tonight I will prove it. I am hereby issuing an open challenge, I will defend this Championship right now against ANY former United States Champion... except Zack Ryder!"

Cesaro laughs to himself and removes his jacket as he awaits his opponent. Hacksaw Jim Duggan's music hits to a pop from the crowd and Duggan appears, waving his 2x4 and chanting USA! Michael Cole tells viewers that Duggan was United States Champion in 1994 and that he defeated Steve Austin for the title. Zack Ryder is shown watching the action on a screen backstage as the match begins.

Cesaro squashes Dugan in 3 minutes, hitting a forceful European Uppercut before delivering the Neutraliser to pick up the win.

JR calls it a dominant title defense, while Michael Cole argues that defeating a 59 year old man only proves so much.

They then switch gears to focus on the TLC card for Sunday. They run down the list of confirmed matches:
  • CM Punk defends the WWE Championship against John Cena in a TLC match.
  • World Heavyweight Champion Big Show defends against Daniel Bryan
  • Ryback goes one-on-one with Kane
  • Wade Barrett challenges Sheamus to a Chairs match.
  • The Tag Team Championships will be literally up for grabs as Rhodes Scholars defend against Rey Mysterio and Sin Cara in a ladder match.
  • Zack Ryder looks to capture the United States Championship when he faces Antonio Cesaro

The announcers then narrate over a replay from Friday Night SmackDown, where Alberto Del Rio returned to resume his feud with Randy Orton by RKOing The Viper through the announce table. Del Rio returns to action after the break when he faces his long-time nemesis Rey Mysterio.

Raw returns with an advert for SmackDown with two confirmed matches – John Cena vs Dolph Ziggler, and Antonio Cesaro issuing another open challenge.

Back live in the arena, Ricardo Rodrigues introduces a returning Alberto Del Rio. Del Rio gets big heat as he makes his way to the ring. He snatches the mic from Ricardo when he gets to the ring.

Del Rio: "How dare you people boo me, I am a victim! At Survivor Series, Randy Orton RKO'd me through the announce table AFTER our match. While I took some time to recover from my injuries, I tune in to Raw to find Randy Orton in #1 contender matches? This is an outrage, an outrage I will correct starting with tonight when I snap the arm off that little pest Rey Mysterio. Randy Orton is not here tonight, and after I gave him an RKO of my own last Friday you can expect he will be gone for quite some time."

Rey Mysterio's music then hits and he makes his entrance with a bandaged arm, the announcers saying Rey picked up the injury as a result of the beat-down from Rhodes Scholars on SmackDown.

Rey puts up a good fight for the first 4 minutes of the match, but Del Rio targets the injured arm of Rey and makes him tap with a Cross Arm Breaker.

Del Rio refuses to release the hold initially as the crowd boo. Del Rio then pops to his feet with a smile on his face. He throws Mysterio to the floor and follows him to the outside. He throws Mysterio on the announce table, then climbs the table before delivering an RKO to Mysterio, smashing the table.

The crowd boo and Del Rio yells "DESTINY" when he is interrupted by Jerry Lawler's music, and the Raw GM stands at the top of the stage area with a mic.

Lawler: "It looks like you have some tables issues you need to work through Alberto, and I know a guy who would love to help you work through them. This Sunday you're going one-on-one with Randy Orton in a Tables match. Between now and then, I am imposing a no-contact rule. I just got off the phone with Randy Orton and he will return on Friday, and I'm going to tell you what I told him. If you lay a finger on Orton before the bell rings on Sunday, you will be fired on the spot."

Lawler's music plays as the announcers sell excitement at the Tables match been added to the card for Sunday.

A split-screen shows CM Punk and Vince McMahon walking down the hall, they face off in a Tables Ladders and Chairs match after the break.

Raw returns live in the arena where the ringside area is surrounded by Tables Ladders and Chairs. The biggest pop of the night then happens...

Edge's music hits!

The crowd go nuts and the announcers sell major excitement as Edge makes a surprise appearance! He milks the moment, posing for the fans before making his way to the ring. He picks up a chair from ringside, takes it into the ring and sits down with a mic as the crowd chant Edge's name.

Edge: "Man it's great to hear that! Usually when I'm gonna show up I like to give you guys a little heads up, but this time I didn't know I was coming. I was in the area, I happened to catch CM Punk's interview earlier when he called his TLC match with John Cena a formality. I am a pioneer of the TLC match, I was in the very first one and many since. As you all know, last year I had to call an early end to my career. And let me tell you this – one major reason my career came to an end is the injuries and knocks I picked up in TLC matches. The TLC match is the most dangerous match in WWE history, it ends careers, if CM Punk thinks anything about Sunday or tonight is a formality he is gravely mistaken."

Cult Of Personality then hits to big boos, and a furious CM Punk marches to the ring flanked by Paul Heyman. Punk snatches a mic from ringside.

Punk: "You have got to be kidding me! This guy? What the hell is this, steal the spotlight from CM Punk month? I don't need washed up retired guys telling me anything, there isn't a match in the world too dangerous for CM Punk! I suggest you get the hell out of my ring before I snap that surgically repaired neck in half."

The crowd boo and Edge waits a moment before standing up from his chair.

Edge: "I'm not a stupid man Punk, I know that in my condition I can't fight you. But you aren't fighting me this Sunday, you're fighting John Cena. And personally, I think he's going to win."

A furious Punk spits in Edge faces, drawing a massive amount of heat from the crowd. Edge then delivers a stiff kick to the head of Edge, causing the Rated R Superstar to collapse. The crowd is going nuts and the announcers sell outrage that Punk is attacking a retired Hall Of Famer. Punk folds up the chair that Edge was sitting on and lines up a shot before Christian's music hits.

Christian storms the ring, ducking a swing from Punk and trading blows with Punk. The crowd is going wild, but Punk gets the upper-hand by stomping at the injured ankle of Christian. Punk turns around into a Spear from Edge which sends the crowd wild! Edge picks Christian up and the pair exit the ring as the crowd cheer. Paul Heyman has a mic and enters the ring.

Heyman: "Get back here you cowards! You get back here and fight CM Punk like a man Mr Rated R!"

Vince McMahon's music hits and he appears on the stage dressed to wrestle. He passes Edge and Christian on the ramp and enters the ring, ordering the timekeeper to ring the bell! Vince goes for the cover, but Heyman pulls Vince off Punk.

Vince pops to his feet and stares down Heyman, who begs off and backs into the corner. Vince picks up the chair that's still in the ring and walks up to Heyman as the crowd yells to swing for Heyman. Vince swings the chair back, but Punk has got to his feet and grabs the chair from Vince and smashes him around the back. Punk continues to beat Vince down with the chair as the crowd boo.

Punk orders Heyman to grab a table, and Heyman obliges by throwing a table into the ring. Punk sets the table up in the middle of the ring and lays a prone Vince on top. He climbs the top rope as the crowd boo and yells "RESPECT" before delivering an elbow drop, driving Vince through the table. Punk pins Vince for the win.

CM Punk def. Vince McMahon

The hot crowd continues to boo Punk as he stands over Vince. Punk then picks the chair up and again begins to beat down McMahon. John Cena's music then hits and Cena sprints to the ring, ducking a chair shot and connecting with a shoulder charge. Cena begins his trademark shoulder charge comeback, dropping Punk with the backdrop and landed a Five Knuckle Shuffle. Punk gets to his feet as Cena signals for an AA, but Punk bails the ring.

Punk and Heyman retreat from the ringside area, scurrying up the ramp. Cena examines a fallen Vince, throwing the X sign and yelling for help. Raw goes off the air with CM Punk with a sick smile on his face as doctors and Cena examine Vince.
