Re: WWE: Then, Now, Forever.

Alberto Del Rio opens up Smackdown. No car tonight. Del Rio walks out to the ring and cuts a promo. He says Ricardo Rodriguez suffered head injuries due to Sheamus last week on Raw and won't be here tonight. Del Rio calls Sheamus a hooligan and demands that he face consequences for his actions. Booker T interupts and says that Ricardo got himself in harms way and that it was an accident. Del Rio demands that Sheamus comes out and apologises. Booker T says if thats what he wants, then fine. Booker calls out Sheamus to apologise. Sheamus comes out to the ring and casually says that he's sorry. Del Rio says thats not good enough and demands that he is stripped off his World Heavyweight Title. Booker tells him to hold up and that's not going to be happen. Del Rio has a match against him at Night of Champions, but tonight, Sheamus will be in action and Del Rio can get to choose Sheamus' opponent.

United States Champion Antonio Cesaro (with Aksana) defeated Justin Gabriel. Aksana is back to blonde again and is wearing one of Cesaro's red jackets.

Backstage, and Drew McIntyre is begging Del Rio to pick him as Sheamus' opponent tonight. Del Rio asks him when was the last time he even won a match. When was the last time he was even on Smackdown? Drew says he is the chosen one, and tonight he will prove it. Del Rio says he wants to teach Sheamus a lesson.

Sin Cara and WWE Tag Team Champions Kofi Kingston and R-Truth defeated Cody Rhodes and The Primetime Players. Kingston hit Trouble in Paradise on Rhodes before Sin Cara delivered a Senton Bomb for the win.

Backstage, Booker T is on the phone and he hears a knock on his door. Alex Riley comes in, wearing a lettermans jacket. Riley talks about opportunities. He says he was the star player in his college football league, and theres one thing Alex Riley doesn't do, and thats sit on the sidelines. Riley brings in his valet, he says her name is Summer. She is doing the whole high school cheerleader gimmick. Summer says it's so nice to finally be a part of WWE, she's playing a total airhead. Riley tells her to calm down. Riley says next week, he is going to show everybody what Alex Riley is all about.

Vickie Guerrero comes out to introduce Dolph Ziggler. Ziggler gets in the ring to cut a promo. Ziggler talks about being Mr. Money In the Bank and being one-cash in away before becoming the World Heavyweight Champion. He says it's about damn time Smackdown has had a true face of the brand. Randy Orton's music hits, Orton says he couldn't help but overhear but incase Ziggler hadn't noticed, Smackdown is his show. Ziggler asks him who the hell does he think he is. Ziggler gets in his face and starts screaming at him before Orton lays him out with a RKO. Orton picks up the mic and says he is Randy Orton.

Ryback defeated 2 local jobbers. Ryback finishes them off in familiar fashion. He says "FEED ME THREE", so it looks like we'll be getting Ryback vs 3 local jobbers next week.

We see a recap of Kane's attacking Josh Mathews last week on Smackdown. Mathews goes into the ring and says he has something he needs to say. Mathews cuts a promo and threatens legal action against Kane for attacking him these past 2 weeks. Mathews says he will no longer be scared to come to work. Cole says this is ridiculous. Mathews is getting tremendous heat. Mathews says he has no problem with Kane and he hopes he has no problem with him either. He calls out David Otunga out to the ring, as his legal advisor. Otunga comes out and talks about legal business and how Kane is not suitable for a work enviorment. Otunga says he plans on getting Kane locked up for good. Mathews looks nervous as Kane's pyro hits. Josh runs out of the ring and through the crowd. Kane gets into the ring and attacks Otunga. He lays a chokeslams on Otunga, before hitting his signature pyro in the ring.

Divas Champion Layla defeated Alicia Fox with a kick to the head.

Backstage, and we see Sheamus walking to the ring. The main event is up next.

Sheamus comes out to the ring as he awaits his opponent. Wade Barrett's music hits and he comes out in jeans. Barrett is sporting a new beard. Barrett gets on the mic and says that while he was in prison for assault, he had a lot of time to think. Barrett says he is no longer worried about anything or anybody else. He is looking out for number one and that is Wade Barrett. Barrett says the Barrett Barrage is open for business and tonight, he is going to show Sheamus exactly how ruthless he can be. Barrett says it's nothing personal, just business. Barrett has incorporated a lot of striking in his offense.

Wade Barrett defeated World Heavyweight Champion Sheamus in a non-title match. The finish came when Del Rio grabbed Sheamus by the neck and pushed him into the ropes, allowing Barrett to hit the Winds of Change for the win. Barrett and Del Rio continue to beat Sheamus up. Del Rio shakes Barretts hand before raising it to end this episode of Smackdown.

Re: WWE: Then, Now, Forever.

I usually disagree with your posts and views in general but I gotta admit, that was a really good start. I like how you have written it like a set of spoilers rather than a really long detailed report, makes it easier on the eye and quicker to read.

Keep it up anyway...

Oh, and I hope you're not planning on burying Miz and Sandow.

JAM's Review

I'm liking the way you're posting up your shows. I think it's still clear and has enough detail for people to get into your shows. I like the whole Wade Barrett thing but I'm not so sure how this relationship with Del Rio will work out. Seems as though Barrett is something of a hitman now, very interesting to say the least. Also liking that you're giving guys like Riley and McIntyre some TV time. I'm interested to see what you do with Riley since he now has a valet, Summer was her name? They should be good for the midcard for the time being.

I do hope that you stray away from the real WWE's storylines. Gotta make this project your own. Also, you're doing both Raw and Smackdown right? Wonder what'll happen on RAW. Not much to say but I'll be reading this one man, goodluck!

Re: WWE: Then, Now, Forever.

RAW 10/9/2012 RESULTS
Raw opens up with a recap from last weeks ending.

Matt Striker and Michael Cole are on commentary.

CM Punk's music hits and he comes out to the ring. Punk grabs the mic and says that last week on Raw, he ended the show the way it's meant to be ended. With the WWE Champion standing tall. Punk says he wants to bring out a friend, a man he likes to call his mentor. Punk calls out Paul Heyman, who comes to the ring. Punk says that while he was wrestling for 75 bucks a night, going from motel to motel, city to city, Paul Heyman was the guy who saw something in him. When he signed for WWE in 2005, it was Paul Heyman who gave him that opportunity. And for that he wants to say thank you.

Heyman gets on the mic and talks about how he doesn't have to tell these people how good CM Punk is. He has been the WWE Champion for over 300 days. And do you know how many times he has main evented a pay per view event? NONE. Heyman says that it is an insult to CM Punk, it is an insult to the WWE Championship and it is an insult to these fans. John Cena's music hits and he comes to the ring. Cena tells Heyman to shut up and calls Punk a whiner. Cena says that respect is not given, it is earned. At Night of Champions, CM Punk will be in the main event against him. And he plans on taking the WWE Championship back. Punk asks Cena if he thinks he hasn't earned respect. Did he not earn his respect when he defeated him in the middle of the ring at Money in the Bank? Did he not earn his respect when he defeated him one month later at Summerslam last year. Punk says he refuses to take a backseat to Cena or anybody else. He says he has too much respect for the championship and these fans. Cena says he's leaving out one important detail, Cena says you respect the fans so much, you were planning on walking out of the company with the WWE Championship. Punk says he doesn't have time for this and tells Heyman we're leaving and Cena says that it's what Punk does best -- Run away when the going gets tough. Cena says he fights for these people, whether they love him or hate him. Punk says he's going to do something tonight that will change the landscape of WWE forever.

Raw cuts to a break.

Backstage and Josh Mathews catches Punk. He asks Punk what he meant by that. Punk says that since day 1, he has been in John Cena's shadow and he only now realised why. It's not because John Cena is better than him, it's not because of the way he looks or the things he says, Punk says tonight that he has a solution. And he advises Mathews to watch on because he has something he wants to get off his chest.

Tag Team Champion Kofi Kingston (with R-Truth) defeated Darren Young (with Titus O'Neil) with Trouble in Paradise. O'Neil tried to distract the referee but Truth tripped him on the apron allowing Kofi to take advantage. It is announced that it will be Kingston and Truth vs The Primetime Players at Night of Champions.

We go to an "earlier today" skit, Daniel Bryan is in the grocery store, shopping. Bryan says that starting today, he is going to put his mind at ease and what better way to do that, than by shopping for some vegan oriental foods. Bryan walks by the dairy department and sees a store worker giving out Goat Cheese samples. Bryan flips out and asks the worker if Charlie Sheen put him up to this. Bryan says he is not a goat, he is the greatest of all time. Kane steps into the grocery store and Bryan looks terrified. Kane goes in for the attack but Bryan rams the trolley into him and they exchange punches in the grocery store. Bryan starts throwing items at Kane, who no-sells it and grabs Bryan by the neck. He pushes him into a freezer and throws Bryan in the trolley. Kane pushes the trolley and Bryan into a bunch of shelves and leaves the store.

Brodus Clay defeated JTG.

Backstage with AJ and she says that at Night of Champions, the board of directors are putting her in a match with Vickie Guerrero with the winner getting to be Raw General Manager.

Randy Orton defeated Intercontinental Champion The Miz with the RKO. Dolph Ziggler was on commentary and mentioned he will be facing Orton at Night of Champions.

Divas Champion Layla def. Natalya with the Lay-Out. It is announced that she will face Kaitlyn at Night of Champions and Eve will be the special guest referee.

We see a recap of last week's Smackdown with Del Rio, Barrett, and Sheamus.

Wade Barrett is backstage with Josh Mathews. Barrett says that last week on Smackdown, he made his triumphant return to WWE by taking out the World Heavyweight Champion. Barrett says a lot of people have been asking him where he was, what he was doing. Barrett says he spent 6 months behind bars for assaulting a man who got in his way and he paid the price. Barrett says in life, you have to do whatever it takes to survive. Barrett says what he did to Sheamus this past week wasn't personal, just business. Del Rio made him an offer he just couldn't refuse. Barrett says he is not here to make friends, he is here to make money and he will take out any man who stands infront of him. Wade Barrett is up next.

Wade Barrett defeated Zack Ryder. Barrett gave him a beat down before hitting him with the Wasteland. Barrett is still with the jeans/beard look.

Cody Rhodes and Drew McIntyre defeated Rey Mysterio and Sin Cara. Striker put over how Rhodes and McIntyre are former WWE Tag Team Champions together. McIntyre hit the future shock DDT on Sin Cara for the win.

We see a Ryback promo. He is up next.

Ryback defeated 3 local jobbers in a handicap match. Ryback did his finishing move on all 3 men at once. After the match, Damien Sandow attacks Ryback, and beats him up. Sandow is getting heat. He goes for his signature cartwheel but Ryback stands up behind him. Sandow runs out of the ring and up the ramp, as a furious Ryback looks on.

United States Champion Antonio Cesaro (with Aksana) defeated Christian in a competitive match.

Backstage, and we see CM Punk and Paul Heyman walking to the ring. They're up next!

CM Punk's music hits and he comes out to the ring once again. Paul Heyman is holding a briefcase in his hand. Punk gets on the mic and says earlier tonight, himself and John Cena exchanged words. Punk says that he was doing some thinking and what represents John Cena more than anything. Hustle, Loyalty, Respect? That's not it. His bright green t-shirts and the millions of kids who look up to him? That's not it either. How about his yes man attitude. That might have something to do with it but what represents John Cena more than anything... Punk takes the WWE Title off his shoulder and shows it to the crowd. This gets a big pop from the crowd. Punk says that ever since John Cena has risen to the top of the company, this title has been passed around with his name on it. Punk says that Cena introduced this title, and this company refuses to accept anybody who is carrying around "John Cena's title."

Punk tells Heyman to open up the briefcase, inside it is the old Undisputed WWE Championship. Punk says that THIS is the title that represents respect. And he will defend it with honor, and pride. Punk brings a trashcan into the ring. No more will he be standing inside John Cena's shadow. No more will he be carrying around John Cena's title. And no more will be disrespected by this company. Punk dumps the WWE title into the trash. Punk puts the Undisputed WWE Title onto his shoulder and tells the crowd, they now have a champion they can be proud of.

Re: WWE: Then, Now, Forever.

This looks really nice. The Bryan segment from Raw was perfect! Cracked me up. Wade's return was great, too. Really liked the explanation that he was in jail for beating somebody. Though I haven't watched WWE lately so I don't know if you came up with that yourself or did they use it on TV, but either way, it makes him look pretty bad ass. Punk and Heyman were also good with the new title reveal. Gotta love AJ vs Vickie, haha. I would like a little more detail to the matches, but other than that, this is looking really good.

Re: WWE: Then, Now, Forever.

I love the fact that Punk finally decided to ditch that ugly belt. hopefully it doesn't come back if Cena ever regainst he title.

Like the Bryan segment, and like that Ryback got his match against 3 jobbers, but I just don't think any human can put three people on his back, walk around and do the slam move that he does.

Re: WWE: Then, Now, Forever.

There is discussions about Jack Swagger returning as a face, however nothing has been confirmed. It is said that Swagger will get a serious repackaging before returning to television.

Michael McGillicutty was repackaged under his real name, Joe Hennig on NXT last week. Hennig was playing the role of a heel in a match against Percy Watson. He used the Perfect Plex to win the match as a tribute to his father.

Trent Barreta and Curt Hawkins defeated the team of The Usos on Superstars. Hawkins and Barreta were formally 2/3 of the original Dudebusters in FCW. The third member, Caylen Croft was released back in 2010.
