Official 2012 KoBTB Discussion Thread

OFFICIAL DISCUSSION THREAD

With the start of our tournament on the horizon, we will have a main thread for the proceedings of the tournament (much like last year) and the user/participant discussion of the tournament should only take place in this thread. We appreciate your cooperation.

I am honored to be the primary spokesperson/host of the tournament, and am very excited to see what wonderful pieces our competitors will put out. In saying this, I can tell you now that this year's tournament will be fun, challenging, and much different from the previous tournaments held... but you will find out more about that as the time comes.

Like I said before, the primary thread for the tournament should be up within the next two days or so... but for now, all OOC discussion of the tournament should go here. DISCUSS!

Great to see this thing rolling and getting underway, if there was one tournament that won't dissapoint and will hold up and get done, it'll be this.

Good luck to everyone, should be fun.

I'm really looking foward to this, I like the big mix of new blood and grizzled vets.

This. I'm a HUGE supporter of the new generation, man. Primarily because they're good, but also because that's the way I was brought in. Guys like Nige & DC for instance, they were quite critical but very supportive when I was first coming in... I would love to do the same for the new generation. But I do love my oldheads, haha. Best wishes to EVERYONE in the competition.

Nice to have a good turn out for this, should be good to see where it goes. With a bit of luck, the opening round will be match writing, I find myself better at that than a promo so here's hoping. :P Good luck to everyone who signed up, surely someone can take Melvis off his throne? 8*D

I hope everyone does their best. =) I think the last tournament I fully participated in was the first Worlds Tournament.

I don't really know the people who've been writing from 2006-on (I was mostly involved with Szumi and Wolfy, and spent time returning reviews and such, but yeah most of the stuff I've read regularly were those two) so it'll be interesting to see how things have changed over the last 6 years, if at all.

Looking forward to seeing how this tournament turns out, got a lot of ideas, but can't really be sure what I'll be allowed to use until the rules for the rounds are actually announced.
