WWE; POWER, PRESTIGE, PASSION!

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
▪ INTRODUCTION ▪
---------------------------------------------

It had always been my dream to be in such a prestigious position.

My name is Ronald Alden. Everyone that knows me, even my new coworkers at the World Wrestling Entertainment HQ, just call me ‘Ron’. I have been writing stories, screenplays, and stage plays for over 10 years… and now, I’ve been given the opportunity to put my years of experience towards my dream occupation; a creative writer and producer of the largest sports entertainment franchise in the world. Everyone is anxious to see what I can do… what kind of ratings I can bring, what kind of show I can produce. With the resources I’ve been given, and the pure passion behind every word I write, I am sure that I won’t disappoint.

Ever since I saw my first wrestling match on TV, I’d fallen in love with the sport. Even moreso, I’d fallen in love with the entertainment. I’d always wanted to be the one to make people feel that same emotion I felt that night… but not just for a night. I wanted people to feel that rush EVERY night. Whether they were in the stands or in the comfort of their own homes… I wanted people to bask in the adrenaline of every single moment. I wanted to create a world where people could escape and lose themselves amidst colorful characters, high-octane performances, and priceless production quality. The pyro, the lights, the commentary, the action… It had captured my imagination, but I knew that I could capture so much more in others if I only had the chance.

Years later, the ball is finally in my court. I look at this blank production template I’ve been given… all of this talent at my disposal, a seemingly endless supply of funds and fans. With this massive amount of power and responsibility that I’ve been given, I can’t let the company down. I can’t let the fans down. And after all this anticipation… I can’t let myself down. This is the moment that I’ve been waiting for. I have to pick up this pen, take this company by the reigns, and begin my long-awaited quest… to capture the imaginations, hearts and minds of the billions of people just like me… people with a passion for sports entertainment.

▪ BACKSTORY ▪
---------------------------------------------

After a very brief slump, World Wrestling Entertainment is back on the rise! Sustaining reasonable ratings, fan loyalty at an all time high, and merchandise sales through the roof, the WWE franchise is way beyond just being 'well off'. However, Vince McMahon is a businessman... a smart one, at that, and is never content with the state of his multi-billion dollar franchise -- always looking for possible ways to expand and better the company as a whole. Subsequently, he's always looking to keep his programming fresh and exciting for old audiences and new audiences alike. Going into an explosive summer of returns and 'drama-as-usual', the WWE Chairman made a huge behind-the-scenes decision of completely restructuring his creative, writing, and production teams.

The most significant change to be mentioned is the addition of a new lead creative writer and producer -- a man by the name of Ronald Alden, well known for his work both in the television and movie industry. Alden also has a storied background in live productions as well. Sources say Alden was the first to express interest in working with the company, and McMahon made a huge leap of faith by bringing him on board. Alden certainly has to be feeling the pressure, as it's not everyday a new writer is directly promoted to the lead of the creative team and given control over World Wrestling Entertainment's flagship brand, Monday Night Raw. Staff members and superstars alike have their doubts in the 26 year old's abilities to change or better anything within the program, however, nobody doubts or questions the boss' decisions in business. Needless to say, all eyes will be on this young man as we move forward with a summer of (what's expected to be) a continuing rise in the popularity of sports entertainment.

Alden, McMahon, and the rest of the team have been hard at work together preparing for the next edition of Monday Night RAW, which is said to be episode one of a dramatic change in landscape for the program and for the company. We've been told that McMahon offered Alden the opportunity to create a 'wish list' of things he wanted to optimize his ability to provide quality work. Surprisingly, instead of an over-the-top salary or a penthouse office, Alden reportedly only requested Mr. McMahon's faith, and a handful of superstars to be brought back on board with the WWE. McMahon obliged, and instantly re-negotiated the reinstatement of Gregory Helms, Rikishi, and Shelton Benjamin. We are also told that long-term performance contracts for John Morrison, WWE Hall of Famer Edge, Triple H, The Undertake, and Brock Lesnar have been negotiated as well. Rumors report that there are at least four other superstars that are still being re-negotiated, but only time will tell, as WWE will have to extract those superstars from rival promotion Total Nonstop Action.

It's obvious that Mr. McMahon has placed alot of his trust in this young man to do good things for the company, so we should all do the same as well. Then again, it's hard to doubt someone with pure passion like Mr. Alden has shown in the early goings.

Here's a review for the first episode of Raw. (Thanks for the review you gave me a few days ago btw, much appreciated!)

Nicely done intro by putting focus on the Intercontinental Championship to kick off the show. Christian as special guest referee instantly makes things more interesting and he cut a decent promo, it could have used more emphasis from him about being the guest referee though.

Good match between Kane and Rhodes. First off I’m glad you’ve got Rhodes using his Dashing gimmick, it’s a lot better than “Undashing” and his current lack of gimmick just because you can do so much more with it in a BTB. Makes sense that Christian called it down the middle. I was a little surprised Kane got the victory but that’s only because I’m so used to seeing Rhodes get strong mid-card pushes in people’s work. Christian/Kane is a unique match-up for the IC Title so I’m looking forward to seeing where you go with it.

Smooth JBL promo. Helped hype up a future angle without giving much away. I liked the attention to detail with your description of JBL’s suit, as soon as I read it I could picture exactly what it looked like on him, so good job on that!

Very interesting finish to the tag team match. A totally dominant debut by “Mr. S” who I was initially thinking might be Samoa Joe until you billed him as seven foot tall. Now I’ve just got no idea, which is always a good thing in my book.

I enjoyed the Lesnar/HHH/Punk/JBL promo. Everyone was scripted very well and Punk particularly came across well. The reveal of JBL as interim GM was a good one and he should make for a great authority figure. Lesnar vs. HHH on Raw is a huge match so it’ll be interesting to see how you handle that.

One problem at the end of that promo was that you had JBL say he winner of Lesnar/HHH would go on to face Del Rio for the title next week, which granted was a small mistake but it still confused me for a second or two haha.

The backstage segment with Ziggler, Swagger and Benjamin was alright. Something about it didn’t really click with me. Also thought it was a bit odd that Shelton announced himself as the U.S. Championship #1 Contender when a lot of the show up to this point has been centered around gaining the number 1 contender spot to championships.

Well written over-the-top rope battle royal finale, they can be a bit tricky to write at times. Pleasantly surprised to see Jericho pick up the W and Jericho/Del Rio will be a very unique World Title match, I’m sure it’d be a great match in real life. Raw next week is looking to be totally stacked in terms of the line-up, so you’ve done a great job building up the importance of TV shows in the new era.

Exciting ending to the show. although I have to echo the sentiments about Edge’s status. I’ve got no problem with you using him but it just seems strange to have him be in the Hall of Fame considering why he’s in there. It was a good match between Punk and Edge and I was cool with Punk winning as there’s plenty of potential with him as champ. The HHH/Lesnar inclusion at the end added more hype for their match and helped to make it seem like either one can win and face Punk going forward.

Overall I enjoyed the show, it was definitely a fun read. First shows are always a little difficult as you've trying to get everything set up and develop a groove for stuff going forward but I feel you mostly handled things well. I'm definitely looking forward to reading the next Raw, all the best writing it!

Hey everyone, just a quick update. I haven't ditched the thread, but my computer zonked out on me a few days ago and it's taking much longer for me to get it fixed than I thought it would. Still no ETA, but in the meantime, I've been planning things out on my iPad. Worst case scenario (if it takes more than the next 3 days to get it fixed) I'll just be writing shows in short until things are resolved so I don't get too far behind. Thanks for understanding guys, RAW should be up soon, whether it be the whole show I wrote up or a last minute short form.

Hey guys. My computer is fixed, but I'm still gonna need to write recaps to catch up with the next two weeks going into Summerslam. Thinking about the future, I may be writing extended recaps for all RAW programs, and writing my PPV's in full, depending on time allowance and everything. I had this show all written out in full, and it was my most proud piece, but of course, computer issues would ruin everything for me... blah. No worries though. Here's the results for the second edition of RAW.

MONDAY NIGHT RAW RECAP!
----------------------------------
▪ EDITION #2 ▪

“Rise of the Contenders”

----------------------------------

The program started off as usual, with a grand pyrotechnic display and such, and surprisingly, Cody Rhodes kicked off the night. He stated that his number one contender’s match for the Intercontinental Championship against Kane last week was ‘unfair’ and that he would prove his fighting worth tonight. He put Kane and Christian on notice, saying that he would show that he’s not only a ‘damn good looking face’, but also a ‘damn dangerous competitor.’ His challenge of redemption would be answered by the returning Hurricane, who got a standing ovation from the Richmond crowd. Rhodes held his ground in the contest, but would make one crucial mistake of going for a diving cross body twice in one match – the second time, Hurricane reversed the momentum and rolled Rhodes into a pin, picking up a victory for his re-debut.

We were then taken backstage to the interviewing grounds where Matt Striker was with Triple H, who simply stated that Brock Lesnar was in for a fight tonight, and that Punk was next afterwards. It was a very short and to-the-point promo that led into the next promo in the ring – a well-awaited dance contest between Brodus Clay and Rikishi.

The crowd was actually very responsive to the prospect of the contest. Both superstars got enormous pops during their entrances. Jerry Lawler was the master of ceremony. He stated that the winner of the contest would not only be declared the WWE’s undisputed King of Dance, but they would also win a lifetime supply of JR’s barbecue sauce. (Shameless plug, much?) Before the contest could even begin, it was interrupted by the tracksuit-wearing, segway-riding fitness guru Simon Dean, who was making his return to the WWE! Much to the crowd’s dismay, Dean would insult Clay and Rikishi, claiming that it would be a ‘disgrace’ to start off RAW programming with such a showcase. He would go on to offer them a free trial of the Simon System, which they declined, and it turned into a match challenge. Dean said he would find a partner to take on Rikishi and Brodus Clay in a tag team next week on RAW. The oversized dancing machines accepted and the match was set for next week. We were then taken to a commercial break.

Rey Mysterio vs. Evan Bourne was an extraordinary exhibition, but ended in a no contest due to interference by the masked monster only known as “Mr. S.” The two cruiserweights made a valiant attempt to thwart the attack, but failed, and were destroyed by the towering assailant. During his silent victory, a fuming JBL was shown backstage talking to his assistant Jillian Hall. (Welcome back to her, by the way. Great to see the E’ is bringing in some divas.) Layfield went on a rant, threatening to have Mr. S arrested, and demanded to know his identity. After last week’s attack on the Usos and the OrienTalian Exchange, Jillian stated that she had contacted the Board of Directors several times in attempt to reveal the man’s identity, with no luck. It was revealed that Mr. S had an “Anonymity Clause” written into his contract, which allowed him to conceal his identity so long as he did not breach his contract—which he had not. Temporarily beaten but never defeated, JBL ensured that he would show Mr. S who was ‘in charge’ and booked him in a match for next week’s RAW against the Punjabi Warrior, The Great Khali. His next order of business was to postpone his cruiserweight showcase, in which he ordered Jillian to call Hurricane into his office. (Could this be an underlying sign of a push for Helms?)

The next match of the night was a Champions versus Contenders match, featuring United States and Intercontinental Champions Dolph Ziggler and Christian vs. their respective contenders Shelton Benjamin and Kane. During the match, the “Show Off” Dolph Ziggler was doing what he did best – refusing to tag in Christian and ‘taking care of the match’ by himself. For a while, it was actually working for him as he slowly started wearing down Benjamin. But when Shelton tagged in the Big Red Machine, things quickly changed. After a while of toying with Ziggler, Kane demanded that he tag in Christian – Dolph once again refused. For his disobedience, Kane choke slammed Ziggler, and allowed Benjamin to come in for the cover. The contenders picked up the win, and the commentators hinted that Kane’s Intercontinental Championship match would take place next week on RAW. They failed to mention the United Stated Championship match, however, and we were off to commercial.

Coming back from commercial, we went straight into Triple H vs. Brock Lesnar. It was as brutal as expected, with both superstars sparing no strike or tackle. The fight spilled to ringside, and then into the audience as the two went back and forth exchanging fierce blows. The referee had no choice but to initiate a countout, to which Lesnar responded with a blatantly disrespectful middle finger! It was obvious that this fight was going to remain out of control, and the referee made it to ten… making this match end in a double count out! Neither Lesnar nor Hunter showed any concern with the call as they continued to brawl it out at ringside. Towards the end of the fight, Lesnar searched under the ring, and removed a sledgehammer! Before he could strike with it, uniformed security stormed to the ringside area and broke up the fight accompanied by JBL. John insisted that the two cease the chaos, and despite being given ‘the chance to do things right’, they still could not control themselves. He stated that he had considered firing them both on the spot, but as a businessman, he would take the high road and place them in another match – this one being their last chance to do things right. Layfield quoted WWE Champion CM Punk in saying he would “take both men on”… and he said that it would happen next week in the main event on RAW. CM Punk vs. Brock Lesnar and Triple H in a handicap match! He then proceeded to lay down the stipulation: If either superstar pinned CM Punk, they would get their championship match next week on RAW, and the remaining of the two superstars would challenge the winner at Summerslam. However, if CM Punk won, then the superstar HE pinned would be removed from the equation altogether and the remaining superstar would challenge Punk at Summerslam. It was declared as a ‘win-win’ scenario for Lesnar and HHH if they could manage to work together for one night. He then ordered both superstars to head home for the night, and if they caused any trouble on the way out, they would both be suspended and could kiss their championship hopes goodbye.

Coming back from commercial break, JBL was backstage in his office again, this time on the phone with security, who confirmed that both men had been removed from the building. After ending the conversation, John instructed Jillian to fetch him a copy of the roster, stating that if Lesnar or HHH couldn’t control themselves, he would need to find a new contender for Punk’s WWE Championship. The Hurricane then swooshed into Layfield’s office, and accepted the role of ‘the face of the cruiserweight division’ if he could defeat his opponent next week. When Helms asked who his opponent would be, JBL replied “the new and improved SIN.” He then ensured that all questions would be addressed next week on RAW. (My guess is that it’s a reference to Sin Cara. Perhaps a gimmick change?) We were then taken back to ringside, where it was time for our main event.

Alberto Del Rio made his way to the ring in his usual flamboyant fashion along with his ring announcer Ricardo Rodriguez, but would be interrupted by an appearance by General Manager Layfield’s assistant Jillian Hall. Hall stated that she had a message from the GM for Rodriguez; claiming that the General Manager had a very strict ‘no tolerance’ rule in effect for interrupting any contender’s or championship contest. (Of course, referring to Rodriguez’s interference in the Battle Royal last week at Orton’s expense.) She added that the punishment for violation included fine, suspension, or termination. However, because the rule was just instated, Ricardo would be given ‘grace’ tonight, and a chance to “restore the integrity that he tarnished with his actions” by competing in a match against The Viper, Randy Orton! There was, of course, an added stipulation: If Ricardo managed to defeat Orton, the Jericho vs. Del Rio World Championship match would take place as scheduled. However, if Randy picked up the victory, the match would turn into a Triple Threat match, with Orton being the third man. Orton made his way to the ring, and despite Rodriguez’s begging and pleading, The Viper made quick work out of the ring announcer and proceeded to the main event.

Jericho made his way to the ring, and he came to a quick agreement with Del Rio to double-team Orton throughout the Triple Threat match. The temporary team proved to be a large task for the Viper, as Orton was taken down despite his efforts to fend the two off. Things would break down between Y2J and the Mexican Aristocrat though, as neither superstar would allow the other to pin Orton. The two began to fight each other, and Jericho would later get the upper hand after a devastating Codebreaker. Before he could get the pin, he was surprised by a recovered Orton with an RKO and pinned – Randy Orton became the new World Heavyweight Champion. We then ended the broadcast with Orton holding his new championship high, and a massive reaction from the fans.

Overall, it was solid program. The Richmond, VA crowd really helped set the atmosphere, but a small bit of concern regarding the card for Summerslam. NO matches have been announced as of this moment, but you can be sure that we’ll know much more going into and coming out of the final RAW before the PPV. Your quick results are listed below:

RAW is LAYFIELD Since becoming General Manager of RAW, John Bradshaw Layfield has already made a huge impact on the brand, taking the show by the reigns and giving the WWE Universe what they want. His control of the brand is well-known behind the scenes and on-screen, leaving no problem unattended. Last week, he made two matches for this week's broadcast; First, a punishment match for the mysterious monster "Mr. S" who intervened in JBL's Cruiserweight Showcase. JBL ordered the masked man into a match against someone 'his own size', the Punjabi Warrior Great Khali! Later that night, he ordered battling rivals Triple H and Brock Lesnar into a handicap match against WWE Champion CM Punk. If either superstar pins Punk in the main event, they will get a Championship match next week on RAW, and the remaining superstar will challenge at Summerslam. However, if CM Punk pins either superstar, they will be removed from the championship equation altogether. Of course, the real question is will HHH and Brock Lesnar be able to hold off their hate for each other just to ENSURE this 'win-win' scenario? And how else will General Manager Layfield exercise his power on RAW?

MONDAY NIGHT RAW RECAP!
----------------------------------
EDITION #3
“Swinging Into Summerslam”
----------------------------------

This show, unlike others, did not start off with a pyrotechnic display. Instead, it started with an appearance by the new World Heavyweight Champion Randy Orton. Orton made his way to the ring, and proceeded to speak about his plans as the World Champion, stating that the Age of Orton was once again upon the WWE Universe. Chris Jericho would interject, saying that he had come to get what he deserved: The first shot at Orton’s title. Before Randy could answer, Alberto Del Rio headed to the ring, and said that Jericho deserved nothing, and that HE would be taking the first shot in a championship rematch. Orton denied both request, and the scene turned into an attack on Orton by Jericho, Del Rio, and Alberto’s ring announcer Ricardo Rodriguez. Orton held his ground for a while, but a low blow by Ricardo stopped all of Orton’s momentum, and the three on one attack began. Jericho, Del Rio, and Rodriguez would continue their assault on the World Champion, until the lights in the arena went out followed by a loud GONG. When the lights came back on, The Undertaker was standing in the center of the ring! The appearance got a huge pop from the fans in Houston, and Undertaker delivered a boot to Del Rio and a chokeslam to Jericho. With Rodriguez left the only assailant standing, Taker captured him and drove him down with Tombstone Piledriver! With the three attackers out of the way, Randy Orton and Undertaker went toe to toe for a moment, and Orton mouthed a reluctant ‘thanks’ to The Undertaker. In return, Undertaker did his signature cutthroat taunt, and motioned a championship around his waist. The crowd popped, and Orton nodded, almost expecting that there was another reason ‘Taker aided him. Orton then struck back with an RKO planting The Phenom in the middle of the ring! (What a way to bring the Deadman into the title picture at the last minute.) Orton stood in the middle of the carnage of fallen superstars, and raised his belt high before turning to Undertaker and saying “You’re on.” – Which got a massively positive reaction from the Houston, Texas crowd.

We took a quick commercial break, and were back with our first match of the night. Mr. S versus The Great Khali was, as expected, a battle of the Goliaths. It wasn’t a very athletic or EXCITING contest, but the two giants matched strength for the first minute of the match, providing the illusion that the match could go either way. Mr. S would then trump Khali with a surprising feature – his speed. The mixture of S’ speed and brute strength overcame Khali, but couldn’t knock him down. Towards the end of the contest, Mr. S would once again try to take Khali down with a shoulder block, but the Punjabi Warrior countered with a hard boot that took the masked man right off of his feet. Khali signaled the end as he raised his right hand high for the Khali chop, but Mr. S would counter with a boot to the gut, and a thunderous DDT. With his massive opponent down, S exploded with fury, driving his right knee into Khali’s skull repeatedly. He continued to do so until the referee threatened to disqualify him, to which he responded by shoving the referee out of the way and planting a now bloody Khali to the canvas with another DDT. Mr. S would then cover Khali, and pick up the win. Before Mr. S could finish his celebration though, he was interrupted by Rey Mysterio – who was back to get revenge for the assault that took place last week on RAW. Mysterio attacked the legs of Mr. S, and eventually got him in position for a 619, but the masked man scurried out of the ringside area before Mysterio could execute the move. Rey Mysterio stood alone in the center of the ring, and the commentators made a note suggesting the two might meet at the Summerslam Pay Per View.

Backstage, Alberto Del Rio and Ricardo Rodriquez were seen with their bags scurrying frantically to their car in the parking garage. Before they could leave though, Jillian Hall caught up to them and asked where they were going. Del Rio said he was ‘done for the night’ and ‘going home’. Hall agreed, and instructed Del Rio to get rest this week; as he would be in the first two of three matches for the World Championship at Summerslam. The World Title Main Event was announced as Alberto Del Rio vs. The Undertaker and Chris Jericho vs. Randy Orton in a Double Jeopardy Match! A flustered Del Rio and Rodriguez got into the car, and exchanged inaudible dialogue in Spanish before speeding off out of the garage.

Back at ringside, Christian and Kane made their way to the ring, and it was time for our Intercontinental Championship bout. Starting off, this match seemed relatively even – with both superstars using their own styles to mount a decent amount of offense. Christian’s attempt to match Kane’s strength fell short however, allowing the Big Red Machine to take control of the earlier half of the match. Halfway through, Kane looked to do some extra damage with his signature diving clothesline, but the champion Christian would counter, dropkicking Kane in the stomach and changing the momentum of the contest. Christian’s new strategy proved to be the right way to go, as he methodically targeted different parts of Kane’s body (specifically his legs) for a few minutes. Captain Charisma would make a mistake of his own though, hitting the Killswitch and then taking a bit too much time to cover his opponent. Kane powered out of the pin, and seemed to be coming back to life in the match quickly building momentum and eventually taking down the champion. Christian’s defensive tactics were unsuccessful each time, with Kane remaining one step ahead of every counter and attack. Around the 10 minute mark, with an emphatic chokeslam, Kane would pick up the win and become the new Intercontinental Champion! We then went to commercial break.

Good versus Evil. It sounds awfully cliché on paper, but when you put it in the form of Hurricane versus SIN, it is all but cliché. SIN showed a new and more vicious side of himself, sporting red and black attire and a new mask to top if off. The gimmick change did not affect his ability though – putting on an awesome contest with Hurricane that had the crowd on the edge of their seats. Momentum in the match shifted too many times to count, but the most notable came with SIN seated on the top turnbuckle, and Hurricane going for a top rope Hurricarana. SIN countered the move attempt, and slammed Hurricane down to the canvas hard with a powerbomb. He immediately went for a cover, but Hurricane kicked out right before the three. There seemed to be hope for a recovery from the hero, but the powerbomb took more out of him than expected, and the pace of the match slowed down as SIN stayed on him with some grounded maneuvers. Hurricane came back to life later in the match though, countering a suplex attempt with a suplex of his own. Both superstars were quick to their feet, with SIN obviously caught a bit off guard. Sin charged at the Hurricane, but was dropkicked in the knee, and nailed with a hard Shining Wizard! Hurricane signaled for the Chokeslam, but the move was countered by SIN and followed up by a lungblower which JR referred to as the 'seventh sin'. Sin immediately covered Hurricane to pick up the win.

Backstage, JBL gave himself a verbal pat on the back for making the previous exhibition, and then stated that the Cruiserweight Division is what the brand needed to take RAW to the next level. He then made the announcement that he was reinstating the Cruiserweight Championship as of tonight, and that Hurricane and SIN would meet once again at Summerslam with the title on the line. Triple H then walked into the office, warning that if Brock Lesnar ‘so much as breathed on him too hard’; he would ‘drive a hammer through his skull.’ He ended his brief meeting with the General Manager with this line: “There’s only one way to control a rabid animal, John. And that’s to put it down.” Triple H left the office, and we were taken back to ringside.

Dancing machines Brodus Clay and Rikishi made their way to the ring, followed by Simon Dean who stopped halfway down the ramp. He claimed that he was exhausted from his travels promoting the Simon System, and his search for a partner in tonight’s tag team match. Dean went on to say that whomever he chose would have to be fit, good looking, and willing to help ‘trim the fat’ from the RAW roster. He closed with the fact that he didn’t find a single person that fit the description – in fact, he’d found two. Simon then went on to introduce Rikishi and Clay’s TWO opponents for the night, David Otunga and John Morrison. The two superstars used their speed and overall athletic advantage over Clay and Rikishi to maintain control for a greater portion of the match. Momentum would shift in the Dancing Machines’ favor though, but was quickly shut down by a spear from Otunga to Rikishi, followed by a Starship Pain from Morrison. Morrison and Otunga picked up the win and celebrated with Simon Dean by their side. Dean cut a second promo, calling his new partners members of “The Fit Club”. (Simon gets his own stable now, talk about a big push.) He stated that their quest was just beginning, and that there was no task too big for the Fit Club. Almost on cue, out walked The Big Show! After some back and forth banter between Dean and Show, the six agreed to a 6 Man Tag Elimination Tables Match at Summerslam.

One final commercial break, and it was time for our main event. The biggest question of this match was whether or not Triple H and Brock Lesnar would be able to control themselves long enough to work together and take down CM Punk. Punk is and always has been a fighting champion, but the challenge of facing two of WWE’s most vicious superstars proved to be too tall, even for the Straight Edge warrior. Lesnar and HHH managed to turn their team efforts into a competition, taking turns trying to one-up each other in their offense. They wore Punk down with a series of powerful maneuvers, and every counter or comeback attempt from Punk fell short. Eventually, the team began to get more and more tense, with Lesnar and Triple H arguing over who would pin CM Punk. Because of the argument, CM Punk was able to recover, and build momentum on Lesnar while Triple H sat back and watched. Punk hit Lesnar with the GTS, but before he could make a cover, he would be hit with a devastating Pedigree from Triple H! Hunter covered Punk for the win, and the match for Summerslam was set: CM Punk vs. Triple H vs. Brock Lesnar for the WWE Championship.

As soon as the closing bell rung, Triple H and Brock Lesnar went nose to nose. Immediately, security stormed the ring to prevent the fight from escalating. They were, of course, accompanied by General Manager Layfield. JBL said that the two had ‘done well in controlling themselves’ tonight, and that if they want their Triple Threat match to happen, they would continue to control themselves until Summerslam. Then, they could do whatever they wanted because their Triple Threat match is a No Disqualification match! The audience loved the idea, and so did Lesnar and Triple H as smiles slowly spread across their faces. This is surely setting up for a brutal contest for the Summerslam main event. We closed the program with some Summerslam promotions from the commentators, and the show was over. Your quick results are below.

JAM's Review
Definitely liking the Smackdown main event scene at the moment, but I'm still a bit confused, why aren't you writing Smackdown as well? Well anyway, it was made to be a good opening segment especially with that beatdown on Orton while Jericho and Del Rio would fight it out to see who would be next in line for the World Title. However, I like this move of bringing the Undertaker back! Another good move by your writer, yeah? I think that the opening should've ended with that cut-throat gesture, but it went further with an RKO, it was fine but I still would've liked 'Taker not looking weak in his return back.

I'm thinking even more that this Mr. S guy is Samoa Joe since you said the big guy had speed but I'm still not sure. We'll never know til you reveal it yourself. A Joe/Mysterio feud could be great, could be brilliant actually, so I hope that you reveal who this Mr. S is soon since I'm interested in this storyline. Oh and for the Jeopardy Match, I'm not entirely sure what it means, so you'll have to explain more on that one.

Another new champion? That seemed quite sudden man, maybe you should've kept it on Christian but I trust your booking skills so I'll just wait what you have in store for them. SIN is Sin Cara yeah? Interesting that you've tweaked his gimmick a little, looking forward to your Crusierweight Division. And wow, Simon Dean's get his own stable? Lol. So random but I guess I'll learn to like it.

No DQ for the WWE Title Match? You're really making this one brutal match for Punk, but I choose him to retain if ever, but from what I can tell from your shows, everything's been unpredictable and that's not a bad thing.

Overall, not a bad episode. Maybe a little more detail would be fine but this is okay too since it's a very unique BTB as it's following the writer you portray. Not too realistic too in a way but anyway, I'll still be reading man, nice job (Y)

KingRo™ Presents;
▪ WWE SUMMERSLAM! ▪
SHOW PREVIEW
-----------------------------------

-----------------------------------
▪ AUGUST 19, 2012: ▪

Live! From the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California
“It's A PUNK Party!”
-----------------------------------

» it’s a PUNK PARTY! » Anyone who holds a championship in the WWE knows their belt doubles as a target that every superstar has an eye on. But what happens when it’s two of the company’s biggest and most vicious superstars that are after you? This is a situation that WWE Champion CM Punk knows very well, recently finding himself in the middle of a heated rivalry between Triple H and Brock Lesnar. HHH and Lesnar have been going back and forth over the past few weeks with verbal and physical assaults on each other, all for the sake of becoming the number one contender to the WWE Championship. Last Monday night, Lesnar and Triple H reluctantly worked together to gain contendership, but tonight, there’s no teams, there’s no extra stipulations. There’s just three men, one match, and the most coveted prize in the WWE: The WWE Championship. At the biggest party of the summer, we’re sure to see one of the biggest FIGHTS of the summer. Which of these heavy hitters will walk out victorious?

» new HEIGHTS » A superstar’s quest for gold in the WWE is always metaphorically compared to climbing a ladder; However, at Summerslam, that climb becomes literal for two of WWE’s most talented young superstars. United States Champion Dolph Ziggler will defend against Shelton Benjamin in a ladder match! Neither of the men are strangers to the dangerous contest, having some of the most memorable matches of their careers in ladder matches – but like the WWE in general, ladder matches are always unpredictable. Which superstar will take home the gold?

» BATTLE of the MASKS! » Rey Mysterio returned from a brief hiatus last week on RAW to get revenge on the mysterious masked monster known as ‘Mr. S.’ The towering assailant escaped the revenge attempt, but there will be no surprises come Summerslam. General Manager Layfield ordered that Mr. S compete in a match against Mysterio at Summerslam! This is sure to be a David and Goliath battle – will history repeat itself? Or will the dominant powerhouse Mr. S remain undefeated?

» a TABLE for SIX! » Simon Dean and his two new partners David Otunga and John Morrison (The Fit Club) have taken RAW by storm, promising to ‘trim the fat’ from the roster. They claim there’s no challenge too big for them, and Summerslam will be a true test! At the biggest party of the summer, the Fit Club will take on Rikishi, Brodus Clay, and Big Show in a Six Man Tag Elimination Tables Match! Obviously, getting these mammoths through a table will be quite the challenge, but you can never underestimate the cunning of any of the Fit Club’s members. Yes, there will be wood, but the question is… for whom?

» double JEAPOARDY! » Alberto Del Rio, Chris Jericho, and Randy Orton have gone back and forth verbally and physically over the World Heavyweight Championship for the past few weeks on RAW. Last week, the physical battle would escalate into a two on one beating on the new World Champion leaving Orton practically defenseless against the two ego-maniacs… and then came the wild card. Now, The Undertaker has returned, and has made it clear that he has his eyes on the World Championship. As a result, the four men were placed in a Double Jeopardy Match! Meaning, the four superstars will compete in two separate matches in the ring at the same time, and the winners of those matches will go on to face each other! Now that the stage is set, which two of the four superstars will win their starting matches – and then face each other in the final bout for the World Title?

"More Roster Changes, Cyber Sunday To Return"

Reported On July 27, 2012
Author: Jason Case

Reports are in this morning from WWE.Com, announcing that The Great Khali and Ted DiBiase, Jr. have been released from the RAW roster. There hasn't been any follow up as to WHY the two superstars were released, but we can only expect that the releases were voluntary... similar to Vladimir Kozlov, Wade Barrett, and Justin Gabriel earlier last month. Nonetheless -- with every release, there seems to be someone new coming in and our sources have provided some insight on this.

In hopes to help Lead Creative Writer Ronald Alden rebuild the cruiserweight division, JBL (who is the off-screen director of talent relations and recruiting) went out and renegotiated a long-term contract with Kaval. There is no set date for Kaval's re-debut, but as far as roster changes are concerned, there is word that Daniel Bryan (who weighs 210 pounds) will be moved to the Cruiserweight Division in order to add more "legitimacy" to the competitive nature of the division. (Adding in Kaval and Daniel Bryan is definitely a solid way to do that.)

Changing subjects; we all know that we are just days away from the WWE's biggest party of the summer, Summerslam! With that said, it's kind of surprising that that the entertainment franchise is already looking towards their next Pay Per View Event, which was originally scheduled to be Night Of Champions. However, WWE.Com posted an article stating that Cyber Sunday would take place next month instead, and NoC would take the place of the Hell In A Cell Pay Per View. In the article, RAW GM JBL was quoted as saying "The WWE fans are some of the smartest people in this business -- why? Because we are here to give them what they want... that's how we make money. And nobody knows what they want like the fans themselves --- that's a fact. So it's time to include the WWE Universe in the creative process again, and let THEM decide the paths of the WWE Programming. What better way to do that than to bring back the Cyber Sunday Pay Per View?" When he puts it that way, it's hard to disagree. Of course, how much impact the WWE fans actually have on the 'path of programming' depends on how much and how well they build Cyber Sunday after Summerslam is said and done. Ah well, guess that gives us something to keep an eye on.

This is Jason Case signing out... And remember, if you heard it here then it's at least 70% true... haha.

Ah, the summer.
The one time of year where all of the cool cats and foxy ladies come out to play.
Barbecues, beaches, babes, and booze.
There’s nothing like a good ‘ol fashioned PARTY.
And what a better place to party than Los Angeles?
The city where the stars shine brighter during the day…
The city where careers are made and broken…
The city where the only thing more beautiful than the beaches, are the people on them.
LA is hot, but it’s about to get ten… times… hotter.
It’s the biggest party of the summer, and it starts right now!

And now… World Wrestling Entertainment Presents: SUMMERSLAM!

=================================

The opening video package burns away, and we are taken directly to the ringside area where we see the Staples Center has been fashioned into a massive beach party. Palm trees all around, beach balls bouncing along the heads of the audience members, and of course – the trademarked HD entranceway which for tonight, is shaped like the sun on the horizon of a beach. Instantly, the rays of the sun light up a bright orange and the outline of it explodes with pyrotechnics one at a time. This display is followed by a series of blue, orange, green, and red blasts all along the ramp and stage which is of course accompanied by the screaming LA fans and tonight’s theme: “Temperature” by Sean Paul.

ROSS Ladies and gentlemen, WELCOME TO SUMMERSLAM!

LAWLER We are broadcasting live from the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California… and the announcer was right: LA is already hot, but it’s about to get a whole lot hotter!

COLE We thank you for joining us tonight for the biggest party of the summer, and what a night we have in store for you all, folks.

LAWLER We’ve got tables matches, we’ve got ladder matches, we’ve got championships on the line – and it all starts right now!

The music fades away, and then the arena lights dim to a dark red hue. A dark and mysterious theme begins in the arena, and the entire place is hushed to a silence.

JUSTIN ROBERTS Ladies and gentlemen, the following contest is scheduled for one fall and is to crown a WWE Cruiserweight Champion! On the way to the ring first, from Mexico City, weighing at 180 pounds, this...is... SIN!

SIN walks out onto the stage through fog, staring at the ring. He scans the audience for a moment, and drops his black and red robe on the stage. Instead of his usual sprint, he walks slowly and intently to the ring. When he gets to ringside, he walks up the ring steps and climbs into the ring slowly. The new mood and mannerisms of "SIN" fit rather well for him tonight, despite the lack of audience reaction. He stands in the center of the ring and raises his arms -- but his entrance is quickly interrupted by the words "STAND BACK, THERE'S A HURRICANE COMING THROUGH!"

JUSTIN ROBERTS And his opponent, from Raleigh, North Carolina... weighing in at 213 pounds, The Hurricane!

The crowd cheers as "Eye of the Hurricane" hits in the arena, and he comes storming out onto the stage. Hurricane makes his way to the ring smiling brightly and giving thumbs up to several fans in the front row, taking in the positive reaction from the fans. At ringside, he reaches behind his cape and pulls out a replica mask... handing it to a small child with a "HURRICANE IS MY HERO" sign held high. He pats the kid on the head, and slides into the ring. It's clear that we're ready to get straight into the action as Hurricane tears off his cape and his music fades out. The referee walks to the center of the ring holding the brand new Cruiserweight Championship high. It's not long before he hands it off, and calls for the opening bell starting the first match of the night.

==============================
MATCH ONE; SINGLES CONTEST
Cruiserweight Championship
THE HURRICANE vs. SIN // ENDING

==============================

From the moment the opening bell rang, both superstars went into an exceptionally athletic contest, displaying a plethora of flashy and aerial maneuvers. However, in the mix thereof, they managed to work in a base of brilliant chain wrestling and ground maneuvers. The crowd was on the edge of their seats even this early into the night, proving that this was indeed THE way to kick off the biggest party of the summer. We join this contest about six minutes into the action, and SIN’s new, more vicious side has allowed him to ground and temporarily control The Hurricane. The up-and-down pace of the match is currently at a down point, where SIN has the Hero in a headlock in the center of the ring.

The crowd cheers and claps in unison trying to help will The Hurricane into the contest, and at this point, it appears to be working! Hurricane raises his right arm showing signs of life and struggles to regain his footing while still in the headlock. He finally manages a solid base, and firing a few right hands to the ribs of SIN before shooting him off to the ropes. Hurricane swings hard for a clothesline but SIN ducks under and catches the hero in a crucifix before rolling him down, forcing him into a cover.

One… Two… NO!!!

Hurricane powers himself out of the tight roll, and both superstars scramble to their feet. On opposite sides of the ring the two take a moment to adjust their masks, and they both look out to the HOT crowd inspiring an encouraging cheer. The two turn their attention back to each other and circle the ring once before locking up in the center. They struggle for a brief moment but SIN is the first in control with a hammer lock on Hurricane. Realizing he’s in trouble, Hurricane yelps and reaches out for the ropes but he’s simply too far away. A quick change of plans, and Hurricane muscles himself out of the situation, reversing and putting SIN in a hammer lock of his own! The crowd continues to cheer the Hurricane on but SIN reverses again, this time kicking the back of Hurricane’s left leg dropping him down to one kne. Helms takes the opportunity to counter again, this time doing a headspring forward and sweeping SIN’s legs from under him! Now free, Hurricane immediately heads to the ropes. SIN scrambles up to one knee trying to get back to his feet but Helms bounds off the ropes and catches him with a Shining Wizard!! SIN goes down, and Helms looks to the corner signaling that he wants to fly! The crowd cheers, and Hurricane climbs to the top rope stalking his slowly rising opponent. As soon as SIN makes it to his feet, Hurricane flies off and nails him back down with a picture-perfect flying clothesline!! This time it’s Hurricane going for the cover…

One… Two… Th-NO!!

SIN kicks out and the match continues. Helms shows a tad of frustration, but gets right back on SIN picking him up and shooting him off the ropes again. This time he reaches his right arm out and slaps his hand across SIN’s throat and sets up for the chokeslam! The crowd cheers, and Hurricane lifts the sinister cruiserweight up. Before he can bring him down though, SIN springs to action wiggling Hurricane’s hand away in mid-air, countering the chokeslam into a DDT! Helms’ head bounces off the mat and SIN looks to the ropes himself. He quickly bounds to the top and perches, waiting for the hero to make it to his feet. When he finally does, SIN leaps off the ropes but gets caught standing in the chokeslam position!! Again the crowd pops but once again, SIN counters! SIN boots Hurricane in the gut and shoves the slumped hero’s head in between his legs. SIN hooks the hero’s arms and it appears as if he’s going for a Tiger Bomb, but Hurricane raises himself up and sends SIN flying overhead for a back body drop! However, in another brilliant show of athleticism, SIN manages to land on his feet! Now behind Hurricane, SIN thinks quick and leaps up grabbing the hero’s shoulder for the Seventh Sin lungblower but Hurricane holds on to the ropes in front of him!! SIN slams back down to the canvas hard, and Hurricane quickly turns around holding his right hand high above the ring. The audience stands to their feet and cheer as watches as ONCE AGAIN, Helms wraps his hand around SIN’s throat. This time, SIN is too focused on the pain from hitting the mat, and The Hurricane finally plants him to the canvas with a chokeslam! The exhausted hero hooks a leg for the cover…

One… Two… Three!

JUSTIN ROBERTS Ladies and Gentlemen, here is your winner and the NEW Cruiserweight Champion, THE HURRICANE!

==============================

“Eye of the Hurricane” hits in the arena once again, and the arena lights up with excitement! The referee grabs the Cruiserweight Championship from the outside, and hands it to the Hurricane who takes it and stares at it nostalgically. The scene is borderline magical, and the hero raises the title high with a victorious yell.

LAWLER What a match!

ROSS That’s putting things lightly, King! The Hurricane has returned to the WWE, and has once again captured the Cruiserweight Championship!

COLE This is indeed a great night for the Hurricane, and an ever greater night for RAW, as we’ve just witnessed the OFFICIAL rebirth of the Cruiserweight Division!

LAWLER If tonight’s contest was any sign of what’s to come in the future, then I must agree with the General Manager here; he is indeed a genius!

ROSS This crowd is on their feet for the Hurricane tonight… and we’ve only just begun the event!

COLE You’re right, JR. We still have plenty more to go!

Hurricane continues his celebration walking backwards up the ramp and smiling from ear to ear. Just then, we cut to the backstage area and see a tattooed back and hands behind the person’s head. It appears as if the person is adjusting something on his face. The man turns around and we see that it’s Rey Mysterio! The crowd can be heard from ringside cheering again, and Mysterio proceeds to roll his head around stretching his neck out. His stretch is interrupted though, as another superstar walks onto screen. It’s Evan Bourne. Bourne isn't dressed to compete, but his open shirt reveals that ribs are taped up, implying that he’s still out of action due to the attack from Mr. S a few weeks ago.

BOURNE Hey Rey, you got a minute?

MYSTERIO Yeah sure, what’s up bro?

BOURNE I just wanted to wish you luck in your match tonight. I know you’ve been waiting to get back at that masked freak Mr. S or whatever his name is since he attacked us a few weeks ago…

MYSTERIO For sure man, thanks.

The two shake hands, and embrace. Before Rey can walk away though, Bourne pulls him back with a concerned express look on his face.

BOURNE Hey! One more thing before you go. Look, I know you’re a fighter and you know what you’re doing out there, but this guy is unpredictable. Dude, just be careful. You’re a talented guy, but he’s much bigger than you… and he only wants to hurt people.

MYSTERIO That’s never stopped me before…

BOURNE Yeah, I know… but I don’t want you to end up like me man. Just… take care of yourself, okay?

MYSTERIO You bet, bro.

The two shake hands again, and Rey turns to walk away again. Just then, we see a sweaty Hurricane walk past the two with the Cruiserweight Championship draped over his shoulder. He stops mid stride, and addresses the two.

HURRICANE My fellow lightweight citizens, how goes things?

BOURNE I’m a bit banged up, but I’ll live. Hey, congratulations on the win out there man, you deserve it.

HURRICANE Thank you, Citizen Bourne. Citizen Mysterio, are you ready for your match tonight?

MYSTERIO I’m always ready to fight, Hurricane…

HURRICANE Of course. Just take caution, brother. This masked villian Mr. S isn’t like us. He has no heart, no compassion, no limits. Just stay focused, and I’m sure you’ll be fine.

MYSTERIO Will do.

BOURNE And maybe after Rey takes him out, the three of us can meet with that shiny new Championship on the line?

Hurricane takes a moment to ponder the potential triple threat extravaganza, and then responds with a smile.

HURRICANE I would be honored, friend. As for tonight, Mysterio, I just showed that no evil is too strong for a hero with a good heart.

MYSTERIO I’ll do my best to follow suit, bro.

HURRICANE I have faith in you, Mysterio. We both do. No get out there and take one for Justice!

Hurricane and Mysterio shake hands and embrace here, and then part ways. When they are gone, we are left with Evan Bourne standing alone with a confused expression now.

BOURNE Wait… who is Justice?

The crowd can be heard chuckling the cheap comedic moment from Bourne and then we cut to the ringside area. Justin Roberts is standing in the middle of the ring when a dark piano theme hits in the arena. It sounds vaguely familiar – but almost sounds like a horror song more than an entrance theme. The lights go dark, and one lone spotlight shines on the dark entranceway.

JUSTIN ROBERTS Ladies and gentlemen, the following contest is scheduled for one fall! On the way to the ring... MR. S!

It’s not long until the towering masked man has walked out on to the stage, his blue eyes seemingly burning through the camera in front of him. He sneers, and starts the walk down the ramp. His strides are long and determined – but even more mysterious as the man doesn’t even blink. His eyes remain forward, ignoring the roar of boos coming from the audience. When he gets to the rin, he climbs directly up to the apron, and steps over the top rope – a task seemingly nothing at all to the massive monster. Now in the ring, Mr. S walks to the center and stares directly forward. Partially because of the mask and partially because of the man’s intensity, no expression can be read from his eyes, mouth, or body. It’s almost intimidating. The arena sombers over, but soon explodes with cheers as the music in the arena changes to “Booyaka 619” –- that of the Mexican Warrior, Rey Mysterio! The lights flash a plethora of bright colors, and an equally colorful display of pyro explode from the sunset entranceway.

JUSTIN ROBERTS And his opponent, from San Diego, California... REY MYSTERIO!

Rey Mysterio comes running out onto the stage hype as can be, and points down to the ring at Mr. S. A quick cut to the masked man, and he still shows no sign of life other than his burning blue eyes. The camera cuts back to Mysterio who has turned his attention to the screaming fans, and he runs over to the left side of the stage with a point -- cueing a bright pyro display that shoots over the audience. He then runs over to the right side, does the same, and returns to the center of the stage. After a deep breath, he starts the walk down the ramp high-fiving a few fans on the way down. Once he gets to the end of the ramp, he finds one lone kid in the front row with a replica Mysterio mask on, and reaches out for the child’s head. For the first time since Mysterio started this gesture, his words to the child were actually audible! We can hear Mysterio say to the kid: "Anything is possible if you just believe." The child nods in acknowledgement, and Rey takes off for the ring. He climbs in using the stairs, and keeping an eye on his towering opponent, he heads for the corner. Mysterio leaps up onto the middle rope, crosses his body, and raises his arms high inspiring another loud cheer from all of the fans in the arena. After this he gets down, adjusts his mask, and the referee rings the opening bell.

==============================
MATCH TWO; SINGLES CONTEST
REY MYSTERIO vs. MR. S // ENDING

==============================

Things would start rough for Rey Mysterio in this match, who let his personal aggression towards Mr. S get the best of him. Mysterio made the mistake of rushing in with a flurry of strikes, that didn’t even seem to phase the tall masked man. After being shoved to the mat several times, Mysterio would continue to come back and fight, further displaying the heart and courage that he always has. We join this contest five minutes in, and Mysterio has finally figured it out – he has to use his speed to overcome his towering opponent, and it’s working for him quite well.

Mysterio kicks away at Mr. S’s legs, trying desperately to cut him down to no avail. Realizing this, Mysterio runs to the ropes, and returns with a dropkick right to S’s knee! Finally, the big man is teetering, and Rey bounds off the ropes again. This time, Mr. S regains his balance and counters with a hard boot to Mysterio’s skull! Rey slams back onto the canvas, but quickly rolls out of S’s reach – at least for the moment. S slowly approaches Mysterio with an intimidatingly and slow pace, showing no sign of concern or pain from Mysterio’s previous attacks. Rey makes it to his feet, and Mr. S lunges at him but misses! The quick Mysterio rolls out of the way, and goes back on the offense with a series of kicks and punches to S’s midsection. The attack actually seems to be backing the masked monster into a corner, and the fans cheer the fight in the underdog. With his opponent now cornered, Mysterio takes a few steps back and drives a shoulder into Mr S’s gut! S slumps over, finally showing a bit of weakness, and Rey springboards off the middle rope, catching S’s head and planting him with a DDT! With his opponent finally down, Mysterio wastes no time in trying for a cover.

One… NO!!

Mr. S kicks out of the pin with ease, but his strength is displayed clearly as Mysterio flies off the cover, barrel-rolling on the canvas. Mysterio gets to his feet, and tries to stop Mr. S from standing but once again his offense is countered by a simple shove. Rey rolls up, and now Mr. S is back on his feet – again slowly approaching Mysterio. This seems to be light work for the towering masked man, and a small smug grin spreads across the small mouth opening in his ski mask. Rey stands on the ready, and ducks out of the way as S makes an attempt to grab him. The crowd cheers, and suddenly Mr. S seems emotionally involved in the match.

S lunges at Mysterio again, but Rey quickly dodges and kicks him in the back, causing him to stumble right into the middle rope! The fans cheer as Mysterio takes a look around at the fans before screaming out “619!” He raises his hand, and then bounds off the ropes… a few steps later, and BOOM! THE 619 CONNECTS! The fans explode as Mr. S stumbles backwards, still on his feet, but groggy and unbalanced. Rey sees this, and from the apron he takes one more deep breath before leaping up on the top rope to finish him off… however, Rey’s signature ‘West Coast Pop’ is countered, which sends the audience into a frenzy. The camera shows one quick glimpse of Mysterio’s face, which is all but comfortable… he knows he’s in trouble and so do the fans in LA. It’s not long before Mr. S brings Rey down with a devastating powerbomb! The audience’s reaction quickly turns into boos, but they continue to look on – we soon see that S still has Rey’s legs locked. Mr. S lifts Rey up again, and slams him back down for an equally thunderous powerbomb. Unfortunately for Rey, S keeps his legs locked and proceeds with not one, not two, but THREE more of these spine-shattering powerbombs, and the audience goes into a shocked silence. The referee pleads with the towering maniac to stop the moves, and he complies. Rey now lays lifeless on the canvas, and a quick camera cut shows a fan in the audience in utter awe. It’s practically completely silent in the arena, and the camera cuts back to the ring. Mr. S stares down at Mysterio and shakes his head – the only thing that could even POTENTIALLY be a show of sympathy out of the man tonight – and puts his foot over Rey’s chest in a rather nonchalant cover.

One… Two… Three!!

JUSTIN ROBERTS Ladies and Gentlemen, here is your winner… MR. S!

==============================

S’s music plays, and the referee skips raising his hand in victory to check on Rey Mysterio. Mr. S shakes his head again and stands in the center over the ring, towering over his fallen opponent. The camera and all attention in the arena is on him. He slowly reaches up for his mask, and takes a grasp on it. We’re finally about to find out who this man is!!! He grabs the bottom of his ski mask, and yanks it up…

....

...

..

.

And it reveals a tighter, more form-fitting mask! The tension in the air peels, and the fans respond with a roar of boos. With this, S steps over the top rope to leave the ring. Before he walks around to the ramp though, the crowd pops! The camera cuts, to the ramp, and we see Hurricane and Evan Bourne charging down the walkway. Seemingly to avoid confrontation, Mr. S watches from ringside as the two cruiserweights slide into the ring to check on Mysterio who unfortunately still hasn’t moved.

ROSS Oh my God…

LAWLER That was… hard to watch. This Mr. S is just… ruthless. That was totally uncalled for, and this guy is showing no remorse.

COLE Hurricane and Evan Bourne are here now to help their friend, but you can’t help but to worry. Mysterio still hasn’t moved.

ROSS As you said before King, Mr. S is showing no remorse – nor has he ever shown any regret for his violent attacks on WWE superstars leading up to this match. This masked monster is DANGEROUS, and this just continues a point that I brought up a few weeks ago – nobody is safe when he’s around.

LAWLER We thought we were going to find out who is behind the mask just then, but… I think this can be taken as a statement; this man plans to keep his identity concealed, and he’s not going anywhere any time soon.

The cameras take one more glimpse at the scene in the ring where medical officials have now entered the ring. They, along with Hurricane and Evan Bourne, help to get Rey onto a stretcher and begin wheeling him up the ramp. We are then taken backstage once again… this time, we are in the General Manager’s office, and JBL stands in the center of about a dozen armed security guards. He appears to be briefing them, and it’s not long until the audio kicks in.

GM LAYFIELD You boys had better be on your game tonight. I don’t want them CLOSE to each other until their match starts, do you understand me?

HEAD OF SECURITY Yes sir.

GM LAYFIELD Good. Half of you get to Lesnar’s dressing room, and the other half of you get to Triple H’s. If I find out they’ve touched each other before their match, you’re all FIRED.

HEAD OF SECURITY Yes sir. Me and my team have everything under control.

There is a short pause, and John's face turns even more stern.

GM LAYFIELD What are you waiting for!? Get the hell out of my office!

The team of security guards leave the office, and JBL sighs. He takes off his hat and runs a hand through his hair. We hear the door to the office close, and John puts his hat back on and loosens his tie. The camera pans around a bit and we see Jillian sitting at the desk, flipping through pages on her clipboard.

GM LAYFIELD Jillian, has HE called yet?

JILLIAN No sir. But if he does, I’ll be sure to let you know.

GM LAYFIELD Good. Once HE gets here I want you to make sure he’s comfortable. I’ve worked too damn hard to get him to consider being back on the RAW Roster and I don’t want anyone to screw this up. In fact, get the arena security on the garage. When he shows up, he should be here by himself. He knows not to bring any of those Orlando misfits into my arena, but if any of the others show up, have them escorted to the front. I don’t care who else shows up… if it’s not HIM, they have to buy a ticket like everyone else. Is that understood?

JILLIAN Yes sir. Anything else?

GM LAYFIELD Actually, yes. Get the Board of Directors on the phone. I want a copy of our superstar contract faxed to me right now. If everything goes according to the plan, I’ll have him signed by the end of the night.

JILLIAN Yes sir.

GM LAYFIELD Thank you, Jillian. Do me a favor and look after the office, I’m going to head outside and wait for him. If he calls, make sure you let me know.

Jillian nods, and John re-tightens his tie before leaving the office. Back at ringside, we see the technical crew scrambling around setting up for the next match. One distinct thing has change about the ring – it’s now surrounded by ladders! The fans seemed to have settled down, perhaps to save their energy for the rest of the night, and it’s surely about to pick up with the next contest. The camera cuts to Justin Roberts in the center of the ring, who proceeds to announce the next match.

JUSTIN ROBERTS Ladies and gentlemen the following contest is a LADDER match, and is for the WWE United States Championship! The only way either competitor can win, is to retrieve the United States Title from it’s hanging position above the ring…

Just then, the arena lights up in a golden hue, and “Ain’t No Stoppin’” hits in the arena. The crowd comes back to life, and sparkling gold pyro blast from the rays of the sunset stage.

JUSTIN ROBERTS On the way to the ring first, he is the challenger… from Orangeburg, South Carolina, he is the Gold Standard, SHELTON BENJAMIN!

Right on cue, out walks a smiling and confident Benjamin to a very warm welcome from the Los Angeles crowd. He strides to the ring, beaming with enthusiasm and confidence, wasting little to no time getting to the ring. When he gets in, he walks to the center and looks right above his head, staring intently at the United States Championship. He smiles again, and motions a championship around his waist. Benjamin takes a look around the ring at all the ladders, and rubs his hands together in a ready fashion. After a while his music fades out, and “Perfection” hits… inspiring a much less-positive reaction.

JUSTIN ROBERTS And his opponent, he is the current United States Champion… from Hollywood, Florida, this is… DOLPH ZIGGLER!

The camera cuts to the sunset entranceway again, and Dolph Ziggler strolls out on to the stage smiling arrogantly. He runs his hands backwards throught his hair, and then splashes the water and hair gel from his hands forward before continuing the walk down the ramp. When he gets to the ring, he leaps up onto the apron and points up to his championship, and steps into the ring. Now across from Shelton Benjamin, his music fades out and the bell rings to start the match.

==============================
MATCH THREE; LADDER MATCH
United States Championship
SHELTON BENJAMIN vs. DOLPH ZIGGLER © // ENDING

==============================

From the time it was announced, this match was hyped as two of the company’s most promising young superstars meeting in a potentially high-flying and body-breaking contest. As soon as the match began, the two lived up to that hype – but not in the way most would expect. The two kept everything on the ground, showing off their pure wrestling ability for the starting half of the match, which the crowd wasn’t opposed to… in fact, they were quite into it! Ten minutes of absolutely unpredictable wrestling and momentum changes, and not a single ladder was involved… until now. Benjamin has taken control for the moment, and is the first to bring a ladder into the match. He slides it under the bottom rope, and climbs into the ring after it. Shelton picks the ladder up, and Ziggler springs to life with a vertical dropkick into the ladder that sends Benjamin stumbling backwards and tumbling through the top and middle rope! The Gold Standard crashes to the outside, and Ziggler smiles seeing an open opportunity to make the first climb of the night. Dolph opens and positions the ladder directly under the championship and checks for Benjamin once again, who is still down. Ziggler throws an arm over the closest rung of the ladder, and begins to scale it. Rung by rung, he gets closer to the top but in front of him Benjamin has somehow made it to the apron and has his eyes locked on the ladder. Shelton springboards off the top rope, and sticks the landing directly in the middle of the ladder! The crowd pops at the show of athleticism, and Ziggler strikes first punching Benjamin in the jaw. Benjamin strikes back with a right of his own, and the two enter a power struggle -- both trying to knock the other off of the ladder.

The struggle continues and suddenly, the ladder begins to shake. They two ignore the fact and now the power struggle turns into both men reaching up for the gold. Unfortunately, neither is within reach of the belt, so they begin to move up. Ziggler throws another right hand at Benjamin’s ribs. Shelton has had enough here, and takes Ziggler by the hair and slams his head into the ladder not once, but TWICE. The shots glaze Ziggler’s eyes over, but Dolph holds tight to the ladder. The camera cuts to a close up of Ziggler, and we can see that the two vicious shots have already busted him open!! The crowd cheers and blood slowly starts to drip into the eyes of the Show Off. He notices this, and becomes infuriated! Dolph once again attempts to shove Shelton off the ladder, but Benjamin holds on and the struggle begins again. This throws the ladder off balance even more, so much so that the ladder teeters between two legs on either side rocking back and forth. Both superstars look down, realizing that the ladder is tipping over… and suddenly their competition becomes a team effort to keep the ladder balanced. Unfortunately for both men, their efforts fall short and the ladder falls, sending both men crashing down to the mat! The LA crowd cheers the carnage, and both men grasp their bodies tight, both in pain and examining themselves for any possible injuries.

Laid out on the canvas, Ziggler wipes his face clear of the blood that has now begun to trickle heavier and starts his own personal battle to stand to his feet. Benjamin begins to stand as well and is the first to get a solid base. Ziggler quickly follows and the two men meet in the center of the ring trading right hands with the fallen ladder in between them. Dolph takes advantage of their positioning, and opts out of throwing another punch for using his foot to shove the ladder in to the Gold Standard’s shins! Shelton’s legs buckle under and he goes down grabbing a hold of his right leg in agony. Ziggler clears his face of blood again, and picks the ladder up. After checking once again to make sure Benjamin is down, Dolph carefully places the ladder in the center of the ring, and begins to climb. Rung by rung, he gets closer to the top until finally he’s close enough to take a swipe at the championship! His fingers barely graze the belt, so Ziggler takes another step up. What he doesn’t realize though is that Shelton is back on his feet, and limps over to the ladder. Back up top, Dolph takes another swipe at the belt – this time his hand smacks the strap – he’s so close! He stops his attempts to grab the belt when he realizes that Benjamin is once again climbing the ladder on the opposite side. Ziggler lets out a rather audible “Fuck!” and pulls Benjamin the rest of the way up by The Gold Standard’s head. It seems like Ziggler’s frustration is starting to set in even more, and he headbutts Benjamin right in between the eyes! It proves effective – but the wrong way — as Dolph’s eyes glaze over and it’s HIM that appears to have taken the worst of it. Obviously still suffering from the ladder shot that bloodied him earlier, even potentially fighting through a concussion, Dolph has no choice but to release his hold of the ladder and fall back to the canvas.

The crowd cheers now that Ziggler is out of the way, and Shelton is now the last man standing halfway up the ladder. Shelton climbs slowly and the tension builds. He takes a swipe, and similar to Ziggler, his fingers only graze the bottom of the belt. The LA fans are getting louder and louder the closer Benjamin gets, and finally, he’s reached the top of the ladder. The Gold Standard reaches up and has the United States title in his hand, but before he can pull it down he gets jabbed in the jaw by the suddenly revived Ziggler, and then gets his face smashed into the top of the ladder! The Gold Standard teeters on the second rung from the top of the ladder, and Ziggler once again headbutts him!! This time, it has the desired effect, and Benjamin appears dazed and fighting to stay conscious. Ziggler takes advantage of the opening, and unwraps Benjamin’s hand from the side of the ladder before headbutting him once more!!! This time, Benjamin has no grip on the ladder, and free-falls to the mat!! Ziggler lays his head down on the very top of the ladder for a moment, and looks up at the belt that is just within reach… he reaches his right arm up, and the tension is at an all time high…

He undoes the belt strap, and has it in possession – Ziggler has done it! Ziggler has retrieved the championship!!

JUSTIN ROBERTS Ladies and gentlemen here is your winner and STILL United States Champion, Dolph Ziggler!

==============================

“Perfection” plays in the arena, and the audience’s reaction is… unbelievable. Amidst the small amount of boos towards the Show Off Ziggler, a majority of the fans are actually applauding the extraordinary contest put on by the two superstars. Ziggler sits on top of the ladder, staring at his United States Championship, an occasional drop of blood dripping down on to it, and then raises it in the air. The match has clearly taken a major toll on Ziggler, who groggily climbs down the ladder clutching his title belt tightly.

COLE Ladies and gentlemen, I’m not usually one to say things like this – but Shelton Benjamin and Dolph Ziggler have put on an absolutely AMAZING match here tonight, and have absolutely stolen the show thus far.

LAWLER I would have to agree with you, Michael. These two put it all on the line in that match and as you can hear just from the reaction – the fans certainly appreciate it.

ROSS That’s one of the things I absolutely love about the WWE Universe, fellas. Sometimes the whole ‘good-guy, bad-guy’ thing gets put aside … and these wonderful fans properly acknowledge an outstanding contest when they see it.

LAWLER Wait a minute, check out Ziggler here…

Dolph sets the United States Championship on the mat, and stands over his challenger. Benjamin gets up, holding his head and looking at Ziggler in a defensive manner, ready to strike. The entire audience is surprised though, as Dolph extends his hand – for a handshake! The music stops for a moment, and the fans applaud even louder at the show of sportsmanship from Ziggler. Shelton skeptically examines Ziggler’s hand, and takes a deep breath. After a few moments of exchanging looks between the audience and each other, the two shake hands in the center of the ring. Another loud pop from the fans and the two exhausted superstars part ways. Benjamin gestures for Ziggler to continue his celebration, and goes to leave the ring. Dolph thanks Shelton, and as soon as Benjamin turns around – HE HITS HIM WITH THE ZIG ZAG!!!

ROSS Goddamn that Ziggler! He can’t be trusted!!

LAWLER Wait to kill a perfect moment… that sneaky jackass!

Ziggler grabs his championship off the mat and screams out “Still champion, baby!!” His music hits in the arena, and the duped audience responds with a roar of boos. Ziggler doesn’t care though, in fact, he enjoys the heat! He smiles, and wipes more blood from his forehead before patting Benjamin on the chest and saying “Nice try, Benji.” After this, the camera cuts to an advertisement.

WWE ADVERTISEMENT said:
The camera fades in to what appears to be a living room. There is a big screen television mounted on the wall, and the current match on screen is The Miz vs. Kofi Kingston. The camera zooms out a bit, and we see a random man sitting on the living room couch, browsing WWE.Com on his laptop computer. Suddenly, a knocking can be heard, and the camera cuts to the front door of the house. The man stands up, revealing that he has a John Cena shirt on. He checks his watch, and skeptically approaches the door. The man unlocks the door and opens it, to reveal John Cena standing at his doorstep!

CENA Hey… we need to talk.

The man drops his mug and it shatters on the floor. He’s obviously in complete awe, and starts stuttering in the presence of his favorite superstar.

FAN Wha—John Cena!? Sure… come on in!

Cena smiles, and looks behind him. With a big wave, he motions someone in along with him.

CENA Good. Come on boys!

The man takes a step back, and in walks John Cena, followed by Jack Swagger, The Miz, The Big Show, Kane, The Hurricane, John Morrison, Brodus Clay, Santino Marella, Sheamus, Cody Rhodes, Zack Ryder, Christian, and lastly… the WWE Champion CM Punk. The man watches as the superstars file into his living room, and he turns around to address them. The door closes behind him and the superstars are all staring at him impatiently.

FAN So erm, what’s the problem, fellas?

The WWE Champion CM Punk steps forward to speak.

CM PUNK The problem… all of THESE guys think they deserve a shot at my championship, and we need YOU to decide.

Still stuttering, the confused fan responds.

FAN Me? Why me?

CENA Don’t ask questions, kid! We need you to make a decision… and quick! Are you up for the challenge?

FAN Uh… sure.

Punk smiles, and all of the superstars reply in unison.

WWE SUPERSTARS Then do it.

Just then, the camera zooms in on the mouse to the fan’s computer. A quick cut, and we see that all of the superstars in the room are staring at the man. Punk steps forward in front of everyone, and looks at his wrist tape as if there were a watch there.

PUNK Well?

Just then, the man reaches down and clicks the mouse, causing the video feed to shatter into a rather techie display. There’s some sort of binary code that looks like it’s starting to spell something out. Just then, the announcer is heard speaking.

It’s the one night where the WWE Universe is in control… IT’S WWE CYBER SUNDAY! Live, September 23 … only on Pay Per View!

The Cyber Sunday logo spins onto screen, and the advertisement has come to an end.
We are back live in the Staples Center, but are backstage where General Manager Layfield is standing impatiently in the parking lot. Just then, his cell phone rings and John scrambles to pick it up.

GM LAYFIELD Hey Jillian.

Layfield pauses for a moment, and in the distance we see a long black limo approaching.

GM LAYFIELD I see him, I see him… thank you.

JBL hangs the phone up and stuffs it into his pants pocket before adjusting his tie. The limousine comes to a stop right in front of the General Manager, and the driver steps out decked out in a tuxedo. John smiles and rubs his hands together anxiously. The driver gets to the rear door of the limo, but John stops and faces the camera.

GM LAYFIELD Hey, turn that damn thing off.

The camera man quickly obliges and lowers the camera. All we see is the door open, and a shiny black pair of dress shoes and grey pants step down past the door before the feed is cut and we’re taken back to ringside. It’s clear what match is next, as the ladders from the previous contest have been replaced with a sea of… you guessed it… tables!

JUSTIN ROBERTS Ladies and gentlemen the following contest is a Six Man Tag Team Elimination Tables Match, where the way for either team to win is to put all THREE of their opponents through a table.

“Crank It Up” hits, and pyro blasts from the ceiling above the sunset entranceway.

JUSTIN ROBERTS Introducing first, the team of The Big Show, Rikishi, and Brodus Clay!

The three large superstars stroll out onto the stage all smiles, and head to the ring. They know that no matter how "fit" their opponents may be, getting this team through a table would be a very HEAVY task. The trio gets to the ring, and celebrates to the pleasure of the audience who give them a rather warm welcome. Soon, the music change to the upbeat and fitness inspiring theme of Simon Dean.

JUSTIN ROBERTS And their opponents, Simon Dean, John Morrison, David Otunga; THE FIT CLUB!

Cutting through the massive amount of boos throughout the arena, Dean, Morrison and Otunda all enter the ring wearing purple ring attire in thier own respective styles and riding segways! The three roll down to the ring and dismount their two-wheeled rides before entering the ring. Surrounded by tables and standing across the ring from the three largest superstars in the WWE, the match bell rings and the match begins.

==============================
MATCH FOUR; SIX MAN TAG, ELIMINATION TABLES MATCH
THE FIT CLUB vs. BRODUS CLAY, RIKISHI & BIG SHOW // ENDING

==============================

Brodus Clay eliminated David Otunga.
John Morrison & Simon Dean eliminated Rikishi.
John Morrison eliminated Brodus Clay.
Big Show eliminated John Morrison.

Now, only Big Show and Simon Dean remain. Big Show uses hit foot to shove Morrison’s mangled body out of the ring and sweep the wooden scraps out of the way. He takes a quick inventory of all the remaining tables, and then turns to Simon Dean who is backed helplessly into a corner. Big Show smiles, and the fans cheer – they know there’s no way Dean can get the massive Big Show through a table by himself. Show walks to the center of the ring, and offers his hand in a ‘test of strength’ fashion to Simon Dean, who refuses. Instead, Dean walks to the center of the ring, and looks UP at Big Show examining the tall task he faces. Show clearly doesn’t take Dean seriously, clearly laughing at Simon’s analysis. Soon enough though, Simon decides to strike with a punch that simply bounces off of Big Show’s stomach. Even the fans are laughing now as Big Show offers another free shot. Simon takes it, and once again, his hand simply bounces off of Show’s stomach. Dean looks a bit worried and asks for one more. Big Show is in such a hysterical laughter, he playfully accepts. This time though, Simon takes a step back and kicks Show right in the family jewels!!! The dramatic change in Show’s expression gives Dean the opportunity to laugh, and Simon bounds off the ropes in an attempt to capitalize on his weakened opponent. We never do find out what Dean is going for though, as Big Show makes himself upright quickly and boots Simon right in the face!! The LA fans cheer the quick counter, but Big Show is all but happy now – his sense of urgency has increased sevenfold and he appears absolutely furious.

Big Show yanks Simon Dean up by his track suit top, and tosses him into the corner. The giant tears Dean’s shirt open, and delivers a THUNDEROUS chop to his chest! The fans scream “Woooo” in support of the move, and Show does it again! Simon collapses in the corner grasping onto his chest in pain, but Big Show gives him no time to rest. He raises Dean up again – this time by his hair – and grabs a hold of him before tossing him across the ring. Things are looking VERY bad for the fitness guru, and he tries to roll away from Show but with no luck. Big Show catches him by the leg. He drags Dean back into his clutches, and then lifts him up to his feet again. Simon begs and pleads with Show to let him go, but Show responds with a headbutt that sends Dean to the canvas hard. The fans are cheering wildly, and Show takes notice – once again smiling. He knows he’s in control now, and he takes yet another inventory of all of the remaining tables. It’s not long before he spots the FINAL one that’s still set up… and its set up right at ringside. He points to the table and stares out to the audience who respond with a resounding cheer. He picks Simon up again, and this time wraps his massive hand around Simon’s throat!!! He hoists him up for a chokeslam, but before he can bring Dean down, Big Show’s knee buckles from under him and he drops Dean on the apron. The camera switches angles, and we see that David Otunga has returned to the ring! Obviously still suffering from the effects of being put through a table earlier, Otunga starts stomping away at Big Show and it’s not long before John Morrison has joined him.

The fans erupt with boos, as Morrison and Otunga continue to stomp on Big Show – but are delighted to see that Big Show is still making his way to his feet! Slowly, he manages to get to one knee, but Morrison delivers a hard roundhouse kick to Show’s head that NEARLY knocks him back down. With Show dazed, Morrison and Otunga work together to lift the giant to his feet. The both grab one of Big Shows arms and yell for Simon to ‘Get ready!’ Dean quickly obliges, still on the apron, and he orders the two to ‘DO IT!’ Otunga and Morrison nod to each other and with one of Big Show’s arms in both of their hands, they whip Show off to the ropes. Simon Dean completes the maneuver by pulling down the top rope. Big Show barrels over the top rope, and goes crashing into the table at ringside!

JUSTIN ROBERTS Ladies and gentlemen, here are you winners: David Otunga, John Morrison, and Simon Dean… THE FIT CLUB!

==============================

Simon Dean's theme hits in the arena, and Dean scrambles into the ring to join his two teammates. The three celebrate as if they've won the SuperBowl, cheering and hugging -- the audience disapproves.

COLE ...Well, they did it.

LAWLER They did WHAT, Michael!? Break the rules and tarnish the integrity of a WWE competition!? If that's what you mean, then you're absolutely right.

ROSS In case you missed it, folks... David Otunga and John Morrison were ELIMINATED from this contest earlier on, and illegally re-entered themselves to aide their leader Simon Dean!

LAWLER I can't believe the referees allowed that to happen!

COLE Well, Jerry... technically there are NO disqualifications in a tables match, and if you go through a table, you're eliminated -- simple as that. As far as the referees are concerned, Big Show went through a table BECAUSE of Simon Dean's actions. If you ask me, the referees did their job here.

LAWLER I beg to differ.

ROSS Well, Jerry... I'd hate to say it but complaining about it isn't going to change anything. Fact is, these three superstars have just chalked up a win for themselves!

LAWLER ... I suppose so. I just know we're NEVER going to hear the end of this.

After one last look at the celebration, the camera cuts backstage to the interview grounds where we see Matt Striker standing.

STRIKER Ladies and gentlemen I’m your backstage correspondent Matt Striker and I’m standing here live with the aggressive, the ruthless, the PAIN -- Brock Lesnar.

The camera zooms out, and Brock Lesnar is standing next to Striker with a very intense stare on his face.

STRIKER Brock, thank you for your time. I know you’ve been busy all week training and preparing for your Triple Threat match for the WWE Championship tonight, and I just wanted to ask… going into a match like this, especially with your rival Triple H, what’s on your mind?

LESNAR What’s on my mind? The only thing on my mind right now is what’s next after I win the WWE Championship tonight. You see, I’ve played by the rules all month. I have a lot of pent up aggression that needs to be taken out, and I’m going to do it tonight. You see Matt, tonight there ARE no rules -- which means there’s nothing stopping me from snapping Triple H’s neck, and nothing stopping me from beating the hell out of that loudmouthed Punk, either. By putting me in this match, JBL has given me permission to do anything I want to those two and I’m taking full advantage of the opportunity. I’ll just warn you and everyone else watching… put the kids to bed, because I won’t be accountable for my actions…

Just then, the camera zooms out more and CM Punk walks into frame with a half arrogant smile on his face.

PUNK What a coincidence, Lesnar… because I won’t be either. You know what I think, Matt? I think Lesnar here is a bunch of hype. He’s just another beefed up ‘roid head who gets pushed to the top just because of his name. Well guess what, Brock? Your name doesn’t mean a damn thing when you’re in the ring with me. If you want this WWE Championship, you’re going to have to bring something that I, quite frankly, don’t think you have… and that’s TALENT… REAL WRESTLING ability.

Lesnar’s eyes widen, and Punk continues.

PUNK Yeah, you can throw a couple punches… so what you can lift somebody up and spin ‘em around your head. Newsflash, Lesnar: You’re not the first or only one. I think it’s time somebody put you in your place, Brock. And I’d be glad to oblige.

Soon, we hear another voice and the crowd pops huge as we see Triple H walk into frame on the other side of Matt Striker. Lesnar balls his fists, and clenches his teeth at the sight of the Game.

TRIPLE H Get in line, Punk.

Both Striker and Punk look over at Triple H, and take a step forward to remain in between the two.

TRIPLE H As far as I’m concerned, you and I have some unfinished business to take care of. But that’s all going to be remedied tonight. Last week, I told John that I would drive a sledgehammer through your head, Brock… but I didn’t. The only difference between then and tonight is now, I don’t have to worry about any fines, suspensions, or security. You’ve been a thorn in my side for long enough, Lesnar. Tonight, I’m not just going to pin you and win the WWE Championship… I’m going to get rid of you for good.

Punk interjects.

PUNK I’m sorry, Hunter, but you seem to be mistaken… if you’re talking about MY WWE Championship, then you might not want to get your hopes up too high. Look, I know you two have your little “rivalry” to settle, but I have a Championship to retain… and you two fail to realize that I will do everything I have to do to make sure that happens. The way I see it, I’m just as dangerous as either of you two.

TRIPLE H Dangerous? Punk… the way I see it, you’re just a backyard wrestler who got lucky while I wasn’t around. I’m sick of seeing you parade around here like you’re hot shit… because you’re not. You’re just like the rest of these indy rookies… you throw on some kickpads and wrist tape, and suddenly you think you’re championship material?

PUNK Championship material? Aitch, once again… you fail to realize the most important fact here… I AM the WWE Champion. And no matter what ‘aggression’ you two have with each other… that’s not going to change.

LESNAR You also fail to realize, that it’s going to be hard to wrestle… let alone WALK after I tear your limbs off.

Punk turns his attention from Punk to Lesnar here.

TRIPLE H Y’know, I’m getting sick of your mouth, Lesnar.

LESNAR Is that so? Well how about you do something about it?

TRIPLE H …Don’t mind if I do.

Triple H takes a step back and undoes the top button of his collared shirt. Brock gets in a ready position as well, and it appears as if things are about to break down between the two right now…

STRIKER Wait a minute, guys --

Before the two can do anything, security rush into the interview grounds to separate the two. They are then joined by General Manager Layfield.

GM LAYFIELD Hold it right there, damnit! Security GET IN THERE!

LESNAR You’re dead, you son of a bitch!

GM LAYFIELD The both of you had better settle down! For once in your goddamned careers be professional! I shouldn’t have to babysit you two – frankly I have too much to do and if you two can’t control yourselves, I have an entire roster of superstars that would GLADLY take your place! So I would suggest you both go back to your dressing rooms and get ready for your match tonight… Security, get them both back to their dressing rooms right now!! Make sure they don’t come out until I call for them, do you understand!?

The security officers nod off and escort the reluctantly cooperative superstars out of frame. Just Striker, JBL, and Punk are left. Matt and JBL look at Punk, who is chuckling under his breath.

GM LAYFIELD And just what the hell is so funny?

PUNK Oh nothing… just the fact that you’re more of a babysitter than a General Manager.

GM LAYFIELD Get the hell out of my sight, Punk.

PUNK I bet if Vince was here, he wouldn’t have this problem… just sayin’.

Punk pats John on the back and walks out of frame and we zoom in on our frustrated GM's face. Once again, we’re back to ringside and all of the wood scraps and remaining tables have been cleared from the area. We see a few technical crewmembers sweeping the last bits away and Justin Roberts stand in the center of the ring smiling.

JUSTIN ROBERTS Ladies and gentlemen the following contest is a Double Jeopardy Match, and is for the WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP!

The crowd cheers, and the World Championship graphic blasts on screen.

JUSTIN ROBERTS Now, the way this way this match will work; All four superstars will enter the ring at the same time, and will compete in two separate matches simultaneously until one opponent has defeated the other. When both of the opening matches have ended, the two superstars that are victorious will immediately compete in a final contest, in which the winner will be crowned the World Heavyweight Champion!

"Realeza" plays, and the arena is lit in a golden hue. A few signs show saying things like "Alberto Del LOSER" and other things of that nature, and it's not long before the music is overcome by the sound of a honking horn. From the concreted area next to the stage, out drives Alberto Del Rio in a rather nice maroon Mercedes -- once that Michael Cole notes is worth about 215,000 dollars. Del Rio stops and hops out of the car before heading to and leaps up onto the ramp. When on the ramp, he smiles brightly and holds his arms out to his sides, cueing a waterfall of golden sparks behind him. One thing we do notice though, is that Ricardo Rodriguez is nowhere to be found. When Del Rio gets to the ring, he climbs up the stairs and wipes his feet on the ring apron before stepping in. As soon as he's in, the music changes.

A countdown appears on the titantron and "Break Down The Walls" begins to play. Blue pyrotechnics shoot from the top of the stage and the lights go dark -- the only thing we can see is the silhouette of a man wearing a rather sparkly jacket. When he turns around, the lights come up and we see that Y2J is in the building! Jericho makes his way to the ring showing no smiles or joy -- just focus and determination as he strolls down to the immediate ringside area. Chris climbs up onto the ring apron and steps in, showing an unimpressed scowl towards Alberto Del Rio the entire time. When Jericho is settled in, the lights in the arena shut off, and the crowd goes absolutely nuts.

The lights come back on, and the entire arena is almost blacklighted -- the eerie purple hue with the occasional flash of white sets the tone, and a low fog spreads over the sunset entranceway. The sound of "Graveyard Symphony" makes everyone stand to their feet, and through the thick fog walks none other than the Deadman himself, The Undertaker! He pauses at the top of the stage, staring down to the ring with a blank face -- his vintage intensity. He soon begins his slow and intimidating walk to the ring with the fans shouting behind him. Undertaker gets to the steps, and walks up them slowly before raising his arms to bring the lights back on in the arena. He steps into the ring and removes the hood of his ring coat -- the thunder and lightning in the background adding extra atmosphere to the entrance and inspiring more cheers. A few seconds later, his music fades out.

Last but certainly not least, “Voices” hits in the arena and once again the audience explodes!! The lights dim down to a red and orange hue, and out walks the current World Champion, The Viper, Randy Orton! With the World Championship draped over his shoulder, he begins the walk down the ramp. Orton is focused, and it’s obvious. He walks up the ring steps and climbs into the ring in his own world – a world where as his theme song says, the voices in his head never stop talking. He walks to the nearest corner, climbs up to the middle turnbuckle and raises the World Title in the air, staring out into the audience absorbing all of their support. When he gets down, the lights again return to normal and the arena hushes to a silence to allow Justin Roberts to make his match announcements.

JUSTIN ROBERTS Introducing first, from San Luis Potosi, Mexico... Alberto Del Rio!

The Mexican Aristocrat smiles big, and spreads his arms wide. The sheer confidence radiating off of Del Rio is enough to believe that he has a great chance of winning this match, although the audience doesn’t seem to think so. He makes a championship motion around his waist, and then steps back into his corner.

JUSTIN ROBERTS And his opponent for the opening contests, from Death Valley, The Undertaker!!

The Deadman adjusts his gloves, and stares down all four men, with the audience cheering in the background, Taker runs a hand through his hair and backs into his corner ready for battle.

JUSTIN ROBERTS Next, from Winnipeg, Manitoba Canada, Chris Jericho!!

Another hail of boos rain down to the ring, and Jericho simply raises his right hand into the air as if he’s already won.

JUSTIN ROBERTS And his opponent for the opening contests, from St. Louis, Missouri, he is the current World Heavyweight Champion… Randy Orton!

Orton gets a huge reaction from the fans here, and his face is completely emotionless. He looks at all three of his challengers. The referee in the center of the ring holds the World Championship up and hands it off to the outside. Another referee slides in -- obviously to tend ensure there is a referee for both opening matches -- and the opening bell rings.

==============================
MATCH FIVE; DOUBLE JEAPARDY MATCH
World Heavyweight Championship
ALBERTO DEL RIO vs. UNDERTAKER & ORTON © vs. JERICHO // ENDING

==============================

With two matches going on in the ring at one time, it was practically impossible to keep up with all the action. Most people went to this match expecting a fatal four way, but the main concept od double jeopardy is that there are two separate matches! Meaning, if any match interchanged opponents, both would end in disqualification. Both sets of superstars have kept things under control for the time being, and we join the contest about ten minutes in. The camera is focused Undertaker and Del Rio’s contest at this point, and things aren’t looking good for the Aristocrat. Undertaker is throwing soup-bones to Alberto who’s trapped in the corner, almost defenseless. Taker takes a few steps back and runs in for a clothesline, but Del Rio moves out of the way!! Taker crashes into the turnbuckles, and Del Rio smiles seeing an opportunity to strike. He runs to Undertaker and slaps his hands around Taker’s throat, choking him ruthlessly in the corner… The Deadman shoves him away and goes to boot Del Rio but Alberto moves out of the way and clotheslines The Undertaker to the canvas! He tries to go for a cover, but he leaves one arm open and that’s all it takes. Taker grabs a hold of the arm and before Del Rio can do anything, he finds himself locked in Hell’s Gate!!! The fans are cheering -- Del Rio, on the other hand, is screaming and clawing at the mat trying to escape the pain. He cannot, unfortunately, and moments later his hand slams the canvas several times...

Alberto Del Rio submits to Hells Gate!

The Undertaker releases the hold, and Del Rio scrambles out of the ring as fast as possible. Lucky for him, he tapped before the submission maneuver could do any real damage. Now eliminated from the contests, Del Rio throws a small tantrum on the outside and the referee raises The Undertaker's hand in victory. The camera quickly cuts to the other contest in the ring, where Orton has control of Chris Jericho, stomping away at Y2J in the corner. Their referee breaks the two up and Orton obliges for just a moment. He does indeed break away from Jericho, but charges right back in only to be met by a hard forearm! The shot sends Orton stumbling backwards, and Jericho sprints out of the corner with a hard clothesline! The momentum has changed in Jericho's favor, and Chris grabs a hold of both of Orton's legs. The crowd begins to boo here as Jericho struggles with Orton, trying desperately to turn him over to lock him into the Walls of Jericho... and he succeeds! Now it's Orton who is clawing at the canvas in agony, but Randy manages to power out of the hold with his leg strength, sending Jericho stumbling forward into the turnbuckles. Orton is quick to his feet but is limping -- a fact that Jericho takes immediate notice of. Instead of going for the legs though, Jericho bounds off the ropes and takes Orton down with a huge bulldog!! The impact is massive as Orton's body bounces off the canvas, Orton ending up on his back, staring up at the ceiling. Chris immediately goes for a cover on the exhausted Orton.

One... Two... NO!!!

Orton gets his shoulder off the mat, but is still down and Y2J takes this as his final opportunity to take the Viper out. Jericho gets a huge running start, and springboards backwards off the middle rope for a lionsault, but RKO!! RKO!! RKO!!! Randy Orton springs to life and hits the RKO!!! The entire arena is in an absolute frenzy, and Orton pounds the canvas with his fists again, this time victoriously. He crawls over Y2J and hooks his leg for a cover:

One… Two… Three!!

Chris Jericho has been eliminated from the contest, and the match bell rings signaling the end of his and Jericho’s match. Orton rolls off of Jericho, obviously quite exhausted, and sits up with a satisfied expression on his face. However, that expression sombers a great deal as he looks across the ring and sees the Deadman, The Undertaker standing in the corner – staring him down with burning eyes. Taker slowly reaches up and takes down the straps of his singlet top and puts up his guard. Orton mouths “Shit” to himself, and stands to his feet. He too puts his guards up, and the referee acknowledges this as a ‘ready’ from the Viper. With that, the referee rings the bell and the final match of Double Jeopardy is underway.

The Undertaker and Orton meet in the center of the ring grappling with each other, both trying to throw each other off balance. Undertaker grabs the upper hand first putting Orton in a headlock but Orton quickly counters, shoving Taker off into the ropes. He goes for a shoulder block, but Undertaker is too-well rested and doesn’t budge a bit. Orton’s eyes widen and he wastes no time bounding off the ropes and going for another shoulder block. The same thing happens… Undertaker doesn’t budge. Randy isn’t done yet though and he bounds of the ropes once more, this time to be met by the Undertaker’s boot! Even the referee cringes at the explosive counte, and Orton rolls away from Taker into the corner holding his jaw. Randy uses the turnbuckles to help him back to his feet, but doesn’t realize that he’s in a very bad position – in between Undertaker and Taker’s lethal hands. Taker rushes into the corner, deliver blow after blow to Orton’s head, chest, and stomach… each shot driving more and more wind out of the Viper. Orton tries his best to block, but Undertaker’s strikes are too quick and too strong… each one connects, which renders Randy helpless. Taker lets down his guard, and takes a few steps back before charging back in and smashing Orton in the corner with a huge body splash! The Viper stumbles lazily out of the corner, and The Undertaker grabs a hold of the Viper’s right arm. He looks out to the audience, and the audience responds with a huge pop – they know it’s time for some vintage Undertaker here. The Deadman climbs up the corner to the top turnbuckle, and carefully balances himself along the top rope. He leaps off to hit the Old School, but NO!! Randy Orton counters with an RKO!!! The crowd explodes, and Randy Orton goes right in for the cover…

One… Two… THRE-NOOOO!!!!!

THE UNDERTAKER KICKS OUT!! The electricity in the arena is almost tangible at this point, as every single fan in the arena is on their feet screaming wildly at the Undertaker’s resilience. Orton on the other hand has scurried away from the Undertaker with HUGE eyes of disbelief. The close up shots reveals his verbal thoughts as he mouths “What… the… fuck,” to himself, and wipes his forehead of the sweat . Just when it appeared Orton was in big trouble, things got a lot worse for him as The Undertaker SOMEHOW… SOMEWAY… manages to sit himself in the upright position in trademark fashion. At this the crowd gets EVEN LOUDER than before. Randy’s eyes become wider, and he scrambles to his feet to go back on the attack. He bounds off the ropes, and dropkicks Undertaker square in the chest – but the Undertaker sits back up! He bounds off the ropes once again, and this time knees ‘Taker in the forehead – but the Undertaker sits back up!!!! Randy has run out of options at this point, and heads for the ropes again but this time, the Undertaker has made it back to his feet!! Taker catches Orton’s throat in his hand, and lifts him up for the chokeslam but no!! Orton counters, squirming his way out and ends up behind ‘Taker. Orton grabs a hold of Undertaker’s neck and brings him down backwards for his signature backbreaker, but instead of bouncing to the canvas, Undertaker bounces off of Orton’s back and somehow manages to be standing ON HIS FEET!! Randy turns around slowly, and THEN it sets in. Orton closes his eyes screams a number of obscenities aloud before screaming “STAY DOWN!” To the Deadman. The Viper decides to make one last attempt, this time going for a crossbody but it proves to be a VERY big mistake. The Undertaker catches him!!! Orton screams, kicks, and wiggles, but it’s not long before he finds himself upside down – right where ‘Taker wants him. The crowd roars, and it seems as if every camera in the arena flashes towards the ring as Undertaker drops Orton right on top of his head --- TOMBSTONE PILEDRIVER!! Taker crosses Orton’s arms across his own chest, and sticks his tongue out as the referee and everyone in the arena counts along:

One… Two… Three!!!

JUSTIN ROBERTS Ladies and gentlemen, here is you winner and the NEW World Heavyweight Champion, THEEE UNDERRRRTAKERRRR!!!

==============================

The arena explodes yet again with cheers, and the second referee is quick to rush in with the World Heavyweight Championship. Undertaker just stares at it for a moment, and then he glares back down at Orton, patting him on the chest in what appeared to be a show of respect for the Viper. After this, Undertaker reaches up and grabs the championship -- the championship that he can now call his own.

ROSS By GAWD, what a slobber knocker of a match!

LAWLER I... I can't believe what we just saw! The Undertaker is the NEW World Heavyweight Champion!

COLE This marks EIGHT World Titles for the Deadman... and you could tell by the closing moments of this contest that Undertaker was NOT leaving this arena tonight without that accolade.

LAWLER No kidding... just give me a sec to scoot back to the center of my seat!

ROSS You and everyone else in the arena, King. All three of the matches we just saw were excellent, but the final moments of Orton versus The Undertaker showed how bad these two wanted that title here tonight. But when it was all said and done, it was THAT man, The Undertaker, who would grab the victory.

The Undertaker stands tall in the center of the ring, and raises the World Championship in the air causing another loud roar of cheers from the audience and more thunder booms as his theme plays on. Taker walks to the ropes and steps through to the apron, and we are taken to the backstage area once again... this time, we're outside of the General Manager's office, where Jillian and the Head of Security for earlier stand.

JILLIAN Alright, Mr. Layfield is very busy in a meeting with a special guest at the moment, so I will relay your final instructions for the night to you. Your team is to escort both Triple H and Brock Lesnar to the ring, but when the match starts, you guys get the heck out of dodge... I don't want any of you guys getting hurt. Now, the two can do whatever they want during the match, but as soon as the closing bell rings, you are to re-separate the two and make sure no further damage is caused.

HEAD OF SECURITY Yes ma'am. The team is ready for any and everything tonight.

JILLIAN That's what I like to hear. Now, their match is up next so have the two head out towards the stage now... but DO NOT let them come in contact with each other. John doesn't even want them to look at each other until the match starts. Is that understood?

HEAD OF SECURITY Yes ma'am.

JILLIAN Good... and please, just call me Jillian.

HEAD OF SECURITY Yes ma'a-- err, Jillian.

The security officer nods and jogs away from the scene. Just then, Shelton Benjamin walks into frame. He looks a bit beat up from his ladder match earlier tonight, limp and all, but he fights through the soreness to speak.

BENJAMIN Hey Jillian, can I speak to John?

JILLIAN Not now, Shelton... he's in a meeting. Is there anything I can help you with?

BENJAMIN Look, I know I lost tonight... but I want a rematch. I need John to make it happen.

JILLIAN Shelton... you know the only way you get to call for a rematch is if you WERE the champion...

Benjamin sighs, and seems to have lost hope. But Jillian takes a moment to think.

JILLIAN However... you two did have an amazing match... so here's what I'll do. I'll talk to John when he finishes up the meeting, and you'll get your rematch next week on RAW. How's that sound?

BENJAMIN Sounds great. Thank you.

Shelton turns to leave, but stops in his tracks and turns back to Jillian with a concerned expression on his face.

BENJAMIN Uhm, what scent are you wearing tonight?

Jillian looks surprised, yet a bit flattered.

JILLIAN Me? I'm not. Why do you ask?

BENJAMIN ... Nothing, nevermind... it just smells awfully familiar around here.

JILLIAN Well, it's not me, maybe it's ---- oh.

Jillian stops in the middle of her sentence, and looks at the General Manager's office.

BENJAMIN What? What's wrong?

JILLIAN Nothing, nothing... go get some rest, Shelton. See you next week.

Benjamin shrugs, and smiles anyway.

BENJAMIN Yeah, sure. See you next week.

Shelton walks out of frame, and the camera zooms in on Jillian's face. She takes another sniff of the air, trying to follow the scent trail that Benjamin picked up, and sure enough... it leads right into GM Layfield's office.

JILLIAN That's what I thought...

Jillian opens the door to the GM's office, and the camera immediately cuts back to the ringside area... it's time for the main event!

JUSTIN ROBERTS Ladies and gentlemen, the our main event of the evening is a No Disqualification Triple Threat Match scheduled for one fall, and is for the WWE Championship!

“Next Big Thing” hits in the arena, is welcomed by the audience by a chorus of boos. The camera cuts to the sunset entranceway, where Brock Lesnar walks out onto the stage accompanied by six of the officers from JBL’s security team. Brock looks back at the security, and shakes his head before staring the walk to the ring. Lesnar is geared up in MMA attire, and is carrying a look that can only be described as intimidatingly intense. Walking down the ramp Lesnar stops a few times to stare down a few fans screaming at him, even going so far to tell a few of them to “Shut up” right to their faces. When he gets to the ring, he leaps up onto the apron cueing a pyro blast from all four corners, and he steps in slowly. Lesnar heads straight towards the referee, and once again deliberately disrespects a WWE official with a middle finger – a gesture Lesnar has shown in every match over the past few weeks. He paces back and forth in a corner, staring at the entranceway awaiting the entrance of his rival… and it’s not long before he comes.

“The Game” hits, and the famous opening guitar stroke alone sends the audience into a flurry of cheers. The arena lights dim a bit, and Triple H walks out onto the stage dead center and into a light fog. The camera zooms on him, and we see that his eyes are locked on Lesnar intently. When the lights come back up, it’s revealed that Triple H is also being accompanied by a team of security guards. Hunter starts walking down the ramp, and Lesnar’s security team assumes position, building a wall in the center of the ring. Triple H makes his way sternly to ringside, and walks up the stairs to the ring… climbing in but never once taking his eyes off of Lesnar. Now Triple H’s escorts join Lesnar’s, and the wall stretches in between the two. That, however, does not stop the burning stare exchange between the two. Hunter’s music fades out, and “Tri-ple-H! Tri-ple-H!” chants arise.

“Cult of Personality” hits now, and once again, the LA fans erupt with cheers. The camera makes a quick cut to the sunset entranceway, and out walks CM Punk with the WWE Championship wrapped around his waist. He kneels down at the top of the ramp, and taps on his wrist a few times before standing up and screaming “It’s clobberin’ time!” and making his way down the ramp. Punk does not have security escorts, but he looks around him comically as if he was checking to make sure. He continues down to the ring, and when he gets to it he jogs up the stairs and unwraps the championship from around his waist. He steps into the ring, and immediately heads for the corner where he stands on the middle rope and raises the WWE Championship high – inspiring yet another roar of cheers from the fans in attendance. He smiles, gets down, and hands the championship off to the referee. His music fades out, and the security team parts, leaving the ring technically more empty... but in this particular case, it’s still very crowded with the tension involved. Justin Roberts and the referee walk to the center of the ring, and the match announcements are underway.

JUSTIN ROBERTS Introducing first, the challenger… from Minneapolis, Minnesota... BROCK LESNAR!!

The fans boo, and Lesnar once again turns around burning holes through a particularly audible set of fans. The camera cuts to Punk who is laughing at the section, and then we go back to Roberts.

JUSTIN ROBERTS And his opponent, also challenging, from Greenwich, Connecticut… TRIPLE H!

The audience cheers now, and the camera cuts to Triple H who spits out the gum he was chewing, still staring through Lesnar. You can tell he’s ready to go, but reluctantly holds back – at least for now. A few shots of “HHH” signs in the audience, and then we cut back to Roberts for a final time.

JUSTIN ROBERTS And their opponent, from Chicago, Illinois, he is the current WWE Champion… CM PUNK!

The crowd roars again, and Punk raises his right arm high in the air. It’s clear that he doesn’t take Lesnar & HHH’s aggression towards each other very seriously, as Punk continues to smile and remain rather laid back, considering the large task he’s about to encounter. The camera cuts to the referee who holds the WWE Championship high in the air before handing it off to a technical crew member on the outside. After this, he makes one last check, and calls for the opening bell.

==============================
MAIN EVENT; TRIPLE THREAT, NO DISQUALIFICATION
WWE Championship
TRIPLE H vs. BROCK LESNAR vs. CM PUNK © // ENDING

==============================

As easy as it would have been for CM Punk to just step back and allow his two opponents to annihilate each other, the Straight Edge superstar insisted on being just as much a part of the match as Triple H and Lesnar throughout. Momentum would switch hands several times, but every time Triple H or Lesnar were in control, they completely ignored Punk and attacked each other. The aggression between the two superstars would lead BOTH to take advantage of the No Disqualification rule, but not in the form of weapons… instead, the two opted for closed fists and prolonged submission holds. We join this main event brawl at the twelve minute point, where CM Punk has captured control of the match, and currently has Brock Lesnar locked in the Anaconda Vice!

Obviously a bit worn out from the match, Brock Lesnar yells in agony and struggles to break free from the submission hold to no avail. Punk being relatively the freshest man in the contest has the Vice locked in, and it looks like there’s no hope from Lesnar. That is, until Triple H steps back into the mix and stomps right on Punks shoulder, forcing him to break the hold. CM rolls out of the way holding his shoulder, and Triple H drops a knee down on Lesnar’s forehead. He then mounts his rival and hammers down with a series of hard and closed right hands, forcing Lesnar to curl up and attempt to block each one. Hunter manages to connect with over half of the shots, but is shoved off of Lesnar by CM Punk – who now appears to be frustrated from being excluded from the contest. Triple H and Punk go toe to toe here, with Triple H screaming at Punk to ‘mind his business’. The Straight Edge superstar responds with a hard slap to the Game’s face that gets a huge pop from the audience, and suddenly, Triple H becomes infuriated with Punk and things break down from there. CM Punk and Triple H ignite, trading right hands with each other until Punk manages to get the upper hand. Four consecutive shots in a row, and Punk sends Triple H bounding off the ropes. When the two meet again, Punk goes for a clothesline that The Game ducks under. Triple H continues through, hits the ropes again, and do-si-dos with Punk in the center of the ring before bringing Punk up by his legs and planting him in the center of the ring with a Spinebuster!! The fans are behind the Game here, as he drops over Punk for a cover.

One… Two… NO!

CM Punk kicks out before the three, and Triple H stands to his feet. He takes a look around, apparently looking for Lesnar and finds him sooner than he would expect when he’s blasted by a DEVASTATING clothesline! Brock stands over Triple H with a sadistic smile, and looks to the outside. Lesnar limps over to the ropes, steps out of the ring, and drops down to the outside before raising the ring apron and searching under the ring for a while. When he emerges he has a sledgehammer in hand staring at it intently. The fans jeer Lesnar, but he does care as he slides into the ring with the hammer and walks directly towards Triple H. Unfortunately for him, Punk has made it to his feet and is now standing on the apron with his target in sight. CM springboards off the top rope, and takes Lesnar out with a huge flying clothesline that takes Lesnar off his feet and forces him to drop the sledgehammer! The crowd cheers as Punk appears to be in control once again, but momentum changes again as Triple H boots CM in the stomach, and locks him in for a suplex. However, when Triple H lifts him, CM Punk shifts his weight and lands back on his feet. Taking advantage of Hunter’s temporarily distraction, he immediately takes a hold of Triple H’s arm and hoists him up onto his shoulders… the fans erupt again, and we all know what time it is – Punk does too, as he smiles to fans. He tries for the GTS, but gets one… two… three hard elbows to the side of the head from the Game. Triple H wiggles himself free from the potentially match ending situation, and delivers a boot to Punk’s gut before dropping him with a PEDIGREE! The counter capitalizes, and Triple H wastes no time in covering the champion.

One… Two… NO!!!

Lesnar makes it just in time to break up the cover and Triple H is quick to his feet. Once again, Hunter and Lesnar find themselves standing toe to toe, and Lesnar is the first to strike with a hard right hand! Triple H stumbles back holding his jaw, but wastes no time in striking right back! Our commentary team hype the obvious; it’s about to go down once again between the two hard hitting superstars. Reminiscent of their battle a few weeks ago on RAW, the two continue to trade right hands to each others’ jaws, and Triple H finds himself with the upper hand with three consecutive shots in a row. Lesnar backs up, and Triple H sends him bounding off the ropes into a hard knee smash!! Lesnar pops up, but does not go down – in fact, he’s staring Triple H dead in the eyes. Almost unphased by the maneuver, he roars with fury and spears Triple H in the center of the ring! Brock unloads on Triple H with several MMA style rights, lefts, and elbows. The referee does his best to slow Lesnar down but Lesnar shoves the ref back and flips him off rather emphatically. Lesnar screams at the referee “What are you gonna do, disqualify me!?” and continues to hammer away at the Game. CM Punk has come back to his senses on the other side of the ring, and watches the furious Lesnar wail away at Triple H with no mercy. Punk shrugs, and the leaps into the mix with a hard forearm to the side of Lesnar’s skull! The elbow throws Lesnar off balance, and allows Punk just enough time to drive his right knee into Lesnar’s head! With a glazed look in his eyes, Lesnar hits the mat, and now it’s Punk who is in control of the match again.

CM Punk turns towards Triple H, and the camera shows that The Game is bleeding profusely from his forehead, and being tended to by the referee. Triple H, being the ruthless fighter that he is, just shoves the referee out of the way and struggles to his feet with the help of the ropes. Punk turns around, and now Brock Lesnar is regaining his balance as well. With both superstars on their feet, Punk makes the quick decision to attack Lesnar first, and is hoisted OVER the top rope and sent crashing to the outside for his efforts! Punk is down on the outside, and Triple H wastes no time in capitalizing on Lesnar’s temporary distraction. The bloody Cerebral Assassin boots Brock Lesnar in the gut, and hooks his arms… the crowd comes to life again and watches on as Hunter drives Lesnar into the canvas with a thunderous Pedigree! Triple H remains in his kneeled position, and runs a hand through his hair… his wrist tape now stained with blood and sweat. He takes a deep breath, and then gets rocked by an enzuigiri from CM Punk!! The crowd cheers the sudden life from the Straight Edge superstar who stalks the stumbling Triple H before hoisting him up onto his shoulders. Punk screams out to the audience: “It’s nap time, BITCH!” before raising him and dropping him down on his knee. GTS!!! The crowd absolutely erupts as Punk hooks Triple Hs leg tight and the referee counts:

One… Two… THREE!!

JUSTIN ROBERTS Ladies and gentlemen here’s your winner and STILL WWE Champion: C… M… Punk!!

==============================

“Cult of Personality” hits in the arena and crowd explodes with cheers as CM Punk sits in the upright position and smiles to himself.

COLE He’s done it! He’s done it! CM Punk has retained the WWE Championship!

ROSS Indeed he has, Michael and what a way to do it!

LAWLER There may have been doubts, but once again, CM Punk has proved the doubters wrong and has defeated Triple H and Brock Lesnar here tonight!

COLE Finally, and end to this chapter. CM Punk is victorious, and hopefully now the rivalry between Triple H and Brock Lesnar has come to an end!

ROSS Well, I wouldn’t say that, Cole.

LAWLER Neither would I. If anything, this has given the two superstars MORE reason to despise each other. In fact, I would be surprised if this were the last time the two met.

ROSS Nonetheless gentlemen, you have to give it to Punk here. He managed to conquer the odds once again, and has put a HUGE exclamation point on his claims that he is indeed… the Best In the World!

CM Punk looks out to the screaming LA fans, and raises his WWE Championship high in the air with his referee on the other side raising his arm in victory. Punk heads to the corner, and raises his arm high while behind him, the security team steps back into the ring, ensuring that Lesnar and Triple H do not fight again when they get up. Punk laughs nonchalantly at the display of control, and continues to celebrate. The Summerslam graphic shows at the bottom left hand corner of the screen signaling the end of the broadcast, but instead of fading to the WWE logo, we cut to the General Manager’s office backstage where JBL is standing with a clipboard in his hand. The screen in his office is showing Punk’s celebration, and Jillian stands in the background, almost as anxious as Layfield.

GM LAYFIELD Alright… you’ve seen what things are like now in the main event picture on RAW, and I want to add you into it. All you have to do is sign on the dotted line and it’s a done deal.

John sits the clipboard on his desk, and there is a pause. The camera is conveniently placed where the special guest’s identity is concealed, but we see his hands reach out to grab the clipboard. We see that he also has a grey suit jacket on, and a rather nice gold watch on… but that’s all we see. The man picks up the pen attached to the clipboard, and without further ado, signs his name on the contract. Obviously, the camera is out of focus so we can’t see the name that was signed, but the man hands the contract to JBL who is now smiling from ear to ear.

GM LAYFIELD Perfect. Well my old friend, welcome back to Monday Night RAW.

John extends his hand for a handshake and the man accepts. The camera zooms in on the two’s hands meeting just above the desk, and THEN we fade to the WWE Logo Signaling the end of the Pay Per View Broadcast.

END BROADCAST.

WWE Headlines said:
Reports are in this afternoon reguarding former World Heavyweight Champion Alberto Del Rio, who has reportedly suffered a minor shoulder injury that will sideline the superstar for at least a month. WWE trainers say that Del Rio complained of an 'annoying' pain in his shoulder after his match at Summerslam, but refused medical attention. Later, during a live event earlier this week, Del Rio would forfeit his match against Kane due to the 'unbearable' pain he experienced after a simple hammer lock. There is no word on WHAT the injury specifically is, but officials expect a strained muscle, and Del Rio ensures that he will return to action at or before Cyber Sunday.
» BENJAMIN versus ZIGGLER II » After their exciting but grueling ladder match for the United States Championship at Summerslam, it has been confirmed by GM Layfield’s assistant Jillian Hall that the two will meet again on RAW with the championship on the line. The Gold Standard came within inches of retrieving the title at Summerslam, but tonight – with no stipulations or ladders to climb – can Ziggler once again retain? Or will Benjamin finally have some gold to go accompany his nickname as the ‘Gold Standard’?

» the long RHODE to GOLD » Cody Rhodes has struggled greatly in his quest for gold lately, but he’ll get yet another opportunity to prove himself. Rhodes requested a number one contender’s match for the Intercontinental Championship, and it was granted! However, there is another man who requested the same match after his victory at Summerslam… Monday Night on RAW Rhodes will have the tall task of taking down the masked monster Mr. S! S has been absolutely dominant over the past few weeks, but Rhodes ensures that his fight and hunger for gold will help him overcome. Which of the superstars will go on to face Kane next week on RAW?

Introducing Ronald Alden & The 'Period of Passion'

Reported On August 27, 2012
Author: Jack Gross

This afternoon I had the pleasure of meeting and speaking with the WWE's new lead creative writer and producer, Ronald Alden. He seemed pretty down to earth from the get-go, and I was anxious to learn more about him and his plans for the immediate future of the red brand. The highlights from the interview are below;

First of all, thank you for joining me this afternoon and congratulations on your tremendous success as a writer for World Wrestling Entertainment. I can personally say that I've enjoyed every episode of RAW since your 'new era' began.

WWE Creative Lead said:
No worries, Jack. It's always good to get out of the office for a while and get some fresh air -- even if it's only to be in someone else's office, haha.
Speaking of your new era, this is the only one that everyone talks about... but don't have a name for. Instead of letting the IWC make one up for you, how about you be the first to give your era a name?

WWE Creative Lead said:
Ha... well, if I had to give the era a name based on how I feel about it; I would call it... the "Period of Passion"...
Period of Passion it is! Sounds and looks promising so far. So on to the few questions I have for you this afternoon. First off; word on the internet is that you've become Vince's right hand man as far as producing and creating goes. What's it like working with the grumpy old man?

WWE Creative Lead said:
Alright, let's set things straight here... working with Vince and the WWE as a whole have both been nothing short of a dream come true. I know the rumors about Vince's attitude, and I knew them from day one when I put in my application. However, having such a prestigious position with the company has allowed me to work literally side by side with the chairman, and I don't regret it one bit. Sure, Vince gets a tad hotheaded sometimes, but that's only because he has an extremely low tolerance for foolishness. He's a businessman, simple as that. He's also an avid believer in the old expression "time is money". And frankly, in an industry like this, it absolutely is. Mr. McMahon is always open to new ideas to expand the company, reach out to different demographics, and most importantly; to make HIS shows the best they can be. It's the entire staff and roster's job to help him do that. Knowing this, if everybody is working together to accomplish this ultimate goal... Vince is always happy.
Who's idea was it to bring back Cyber Sunday?

WWE Creative Lead said:
Don't take this as me patting myself on the back, but it was my pitch that brought the Pay Per View back to the show schedule. Like I said before, Vince always wants to make his shows the best they can be. The only REAL way to do that is by giving the WWE fans what they want, and nobody knows what the fans want quite like the fans themselves do. I proposed this to Vince, and we talked a bit about the weight this Pay Per View would have, and he was all for it. Boston is in for a grand show -- as are all the people that will be watching across the world.
The 2012 Cyber Sunday event has been tagged "YOU control the Universe." Which brings me to my next question; Is the Universe legitimately in control?

WWE Creative Lead said:
I understand and fully accept my responsibility as the lead creative writer for Monday Night RAW, however the difference between me and the writers of the past is that I actually thrive on the ideal of giving the WWE Universe what they want. With that said, Vince and I agreed that Cyber Sunday was the best way to go. In saying that, I'll go on record and acknowledge the fact that there's always been speculation whether or not these Taboo Tuesday and Cyber Sunday events were actually fan-influenced. The answer is yes, but creative always had the last say. This Cyber Sunday, however, will be completely up to the WWE Universe. I'm taking my hands off of this one entirely, and the results of the polls will legitimately determine the future of World Wrestling Entertainment from September 23rd and on.
Can we expect any surprises or special appearances during the event?

WWE Creative Lead said:
If you recall, General Manager Layfield had a "special guest" at Summerslam. Believe it or not, that contract signing was probably the only legitimate one to ever take place on screen. I've worked with John, who is the manager of Talent Relations, and Vince to re-aquire a handful of superstars, most of which coming back from Orlando, if you know what I mean. Luckily, I jumped on board and requested these guys just as their deals in Orlanda were up. So you could say we lucked out -- and I'm not ashamed to say it. If all goes according to plan, our 'main attraction' signee will make his debut at Cyber Sunday, so you have that to look forward to if nothing else.
We've heard alot about your successes with the WWE since working with them, but have any of your ideas been turned down?

WWE Creative Lead said:
Of course! At least three a week, in fact. The most noteable of which; I intended for the Triple H/Brock Lesnar program to go all the way to Cyber Sunday, but Mr. McMahon was adamant about discontinuing it before. Obviously, I had to make some changes to the upcoming RAW events, but it wasn't an issue. That's one thing Vince always says he likes about me -- my versatility. If I have a good idea and Vince let's me run with it, I'm golden. If he has suggestions for it, I can work them in without destroying the idea. Most importantly, if he tells me to scratch something, I take it as a challenge to go back to the drawing board and create something even better.
Do you have any examples of current angles that are revised rejected pitches?

WWE Creative Lead said:
The "Mr. S" angle, for sure. This entire thing came from me wanting to re-hash Kane's 'masked monster' gimmick. However, Vince wanted Kane to stay face because he's currently -- as he usually is -- very over with the fans. But you know Vince, he's always open to the idea of having a monstrous superstar dominate for a few weeks... so Vince gave me another 5 slots for my "Wish List." [If you don't know what my wish list is, it's my 'dream' list of superstars I would want to be contracted to the RAW roster to optimize my angles, etc.] I had to have gone through a dozen names to decide who I wanted to take on the role of the masked monster; I considered Sting, I considered Kevin Nash, I considered trying to find Nathan Jones... but I decided against all of them for who I got. The grand thing about it is the fact that NOBODY would guess if they didn't already know. This guy's had quite a bit of time off, and was very anxious to get back in the mix. He's done a great job with the Mr. S gimmick so far, too.
That's definitely been one of the highlights of the RAW progamming lately, I must say. I would've never guessed that wasn't a primary booking choice. I can't wait until the reveal -- if you ever do it. Well, that's all the questions I have for now... is there anything else you'd like to say to the WWE Universe?

WWE Creative Lead said:
Well, I would like everyone that's a part of it -- especially the fans -- to know that the Period of Passion isn't just about me getting the opportunity of my dreams... it's about reviving pure interest in our product, and moreso, it's about YOU. Thank you for watching, and I look forward to providing many more years of entertainment for your viewing pleasure.

JAM's Review
That bit that started your PPV was pretty good, liked everything about it. The opening contest of the night I thought wouldn't be the right choice but later on it was really good despite it not being in full. I like the Hurricane character a lot since it just seems to fun to write for. But him and SIN actually put on a good opener for the fans at Summerslam. You've got commentary down to a tee as well but I just think that maybe Jim Ross would take the lead on this one, either he's the lead commentator and don't have him on the announce table at all imo. The segment between Bourne, Mysterio, and Hurricane was real good too. I like that there's this comraderie with the crusierweights and would love to see them in the ring for the Crusierweight Title. Big fan of the division!

That match with Mr. S and Mysterio was pretty good as well. That three-powerbomb combo can be a deadly finisher and works perfect. I wonder when you'll reveal who this man is since he seems to be a giant. You say that he's a former member of RAW from what I've read in the news that you posted after but I still have no guess as to who it may be. I think you should keep this going a little longer before revealing it. Lovin' this angle dude. And who could this mystery guest be tonight?

Definitely match of the night here. You've got two great athletes in Benjamin and Ziggler here and they put on a helluva show. I wish this one was atleast written in full so we could see exactly how the match would've been like here. But anyway, the aftermath was great to really get a heel reaction from the fans on Ziggler. But one thing, he's back to the midcard? I was so ready for him to be in the main event. But ohwell, we'll see how things go from here on out. That video package for Cyber Sunday was great! Haha loved that bit where you had a lot of superstars come and invade a regular person's home, brilliant!

Can't say it was the most entertaining match but it was certainly different to read. Having Simon Dean back is just hilarious and the fact that The Fit Club beat giants such as Show, Brodus, and Rikishi is just funny to me. Hilarious match and I think the right team won which means the feud is continuing. Can't say I don't like it. The exchange between the three men who meet for the WWE Title later tonight was good. It makes me think that this Punk is the same Punk we have in real life, one who demands respect. Main event should be a good one.

Undertaker, wooooo! I'm hoping that you have him feud with Orton for a little while as I'd love to see what you can do with that feud. Just please don't have Del Rio be the one feuding with 'Taker because you'll just hurt 'Taker's legacy imo. But anyway, if you do have Del Rio, maybe it could finally be the rub that puts Del Rio over. But nonetheless, good win for 'Taker, now let's see how long he sticks around. Hmm, this thing with the special guest is getting interesting, wonder who it could be.

Another good match here in the main event. I thought that you'd use the same thing that WWE did when Punk retained his title in Summerslam in real life. Good to see that you actually had Punk win after his own finishing move, great rub here. But this feud will probably continue for a bit longer which I don't mind at all. Oh man, who could this surprise signing be?! A really good cliffhanger to a really good Summerslam.

Overall, was a good pay-per-view man. The matches were well written despite it being in recaps, they still did a good job of telling the story of the match. You've got some great angles with this surprise signing and the Mr. S saga. Now that your first pay-per-view is over, I'm sure it'll be easier for people to get into your shows now that there is a basis somewhere. Well, all I can say is goodjob man! Onto the next show (Y)

"Cyber Sunday Poster Revealed"

Reported On July 27, 2012
Author: Gunter Young

Earlier this evening WWE.Com posted the following image in the Pay Per View section, which has been redesigned to accomodate the upcoming Cyber Sunday event:

Obviously The Undertaker is the poster superstar for the event, and he's depicted holding the Cyber Sunday logo that has a vague image of former World Champion Randy Orton in it. This leads us to believe that Undertaker and Orton will not only feud for the championship, but will also have a set match that fans can vote on at the Cyber Sunday event. Either way, it's a pretty epic fucking poster. No matches have been announced for the event yet, but we expect things will get rolling with this Monday night's RAW program.

MONDAY NIGHT RAW!
---------------------------------------------
Edition #4:

“Summerslam Hangover”
---------------------------------------------

COLE Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to MONDAY NIGHT RAW! We are just days removed from the biggest part of the summer, Summerslam, and tonight’s event has been appropriately tagged: “The Summerslam Hangover”.

LAWLER We’re broadcasting live tonight from Milwaukee, Illinois and these fans are ready for some WWE action! I’m Jerry Lawler accompanied by my broadcast partners Michael Cole and Jim Ross… and let me just say, I think I’m as excited as these fans tonight!

ROSS I’m still trying to get my voice back from trying to talk over the fans last Sunday in LA, King… and tonight might not help much!

COLE Maybe you should just stop talking, JR?

ROSS And let Jerry be the only bearable voice on commentary? I couldn’t do that.

LAWLER Alright guys, settle down. Like I said before, these Milwaukee fans are ready for some WWE action tonight… and I hear we’re going to get it going with some words from the former #1 contender for the WWE Championship, Brock Lesnar…

“Next Big Thing” hits in the arena, and the Milwaukee fans’ excitement is quickly overcome by a roar of disapproval. The camera cuts to a few Lesnar signs in the audience before switching to the stage where Brock Lesnar walks out – tonight accompanied by Paul Heyman! As if the boos weren’t loud enough already, they get even louder at the sight of the parasitic Heyman who currently bares a devilish grin, clapping victoriously for his massive client. The two start down the ramp and Lesnar does not appear very happy to be in Illinois at all. In fact, he looks quite upset. Finally the two are at ringside, and Lesnar leaps up onto the apron before climbing through the ropes. Paul Heyman follows up the ring steps, and heads straight for the opposing corner to grab a microphone. Lesnar’s music fades, and we hear a slew of
“Heyman Sucks!” chants ringing throughout the arena. Soon though, the fans hush down and Paul begins to speak.

HEYMAN Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome the man who has single handedly brought LEGITIMACY back to World Wrestling Entertainment… the man who is hands-down the most destructive, devastating, and decorated superstar in this business… the man that will SOON be WWE Champion… my client, Brock Lesnar!

The fans boo again as Heyman hands the microphone off to Brock. Lesnar takes a look around and waits for the audience to silence themselves before he speaks.

LESNAR Summerslam… Summerslam was suppo—

Before Brock can even finish his sentence, the cheer-inspiring guitar stroke of “The Game” hits and the fans explode with excitement. Heyman becomes wide-eyed, but Lesnar looks even MORE pissed than before. The camera cuts to the HD entranceway, where Triple H first walks out with an intense stare, but then he yanks his shirt over his head and charges to the ring! The fans pop even louder, Brock Lesnar drops the microphone and Heyman scurries out of the ring. Lesnar stands in a ready stance, and it’s VERY MUCH SO about to go down. Hunter slides into the ring and dives through Lesnar, taking him down before unloading with right hands to Lesnar’s forehead! The two trade rights and lefts in the center of the ring, rolling around the canvas just swinging away. Lesnar gains upper hand of the tussle and hammers away at Triple H with a series of fist and elbows. Moments later, we see a few more people slide into the ring – it’s JBL’s security team. The fans boo as the officers struggle to yank the two away from each other, screaming “Let Them Fight! Let Them Fight!” all the while. A voice is then heard over the sound system – that of the RAW general manager, John Bradshaw Layfield, who comes storming from backstage and halfway down the ramp.

GM LAYFIELD God damnit, that’s ENOUGH! I’ve had it to HERE with the BOTH of you two!

Finally, security has managed to break the two enraged superstars up. The officers turn both of them towards Layfield on the ramp – both of which struggling to break free to no avail.

GM LAYFIELD I’ve given both of you COUNTLESS opportunities to settle this rivalry of yours but you two STILL aren’t satisfied, are you? I given you both chance after chance to show some professionalism and self control, but you’re just taking my leniency and kindness for granted – and I REFUSE to allow you to do it anymore. I warned you both three weeks ago on RAW that if you couldn’t control yourselves, then I would have to take extreme measures to ensure that MY brand maintains the ORDER that I expect out of it. I didn’t think it would come down to this, but as of this moment and until further notice, you both are stripped of your number one contender status and will move to the bottom of the ladder!

Both Triple H and Lesnar seem infuriated at this punishment, and struggle a bit more with the security guards. Even the fans aren’t so sure about this one, but they quickly hush to allow the General Manager to continue.

GM LAYFIELD That is, if you’re still employed after tonight… which brings me to the second half of my punishment. In tonight’s main event, it will be Triple H versus Brock Lesnar ONE FINAL TIME in a no disqualification match!

The fans pop huge for this announcement, and both Lesnar and Hunter have sadistic smiles spread across their faces. It’s clear that both superstars have just been given exactly what they wanted.

GM LAYFIELD But in order to assure these fans that my show will no longer be interrupted by your lack of control; I’ve added an extra stipulation… the loser of tonight’s No Disqualification match will be immediately DISMISSED from the RAW roster! That’s right boys, it’s a good ‘ol fashioned LOSER LEAVES RAW match! Now, I would wish you two luck tonight, but frankly I don’t give a damn which way it goes… as long as ORDER is restored to my show. So I would advise you to cooperate with your escorts, get back to your locker rooms, and STAY there until your match tonight.

There’s a mixed but primarily positive reaction to the announcement of the extra stipulation for the main event match, and the two superstars’ respective groups of officers start moving them towards the ring. JBL turns to head back through the curtain, but stops in his tracks and turns to face the two again.

GM LAYFIELD Oh, and one more thing… consider this, a curfew. If either of you leaves your dressing room BEFORE it’s time for your match tonight, you BOTH are fired! Now get the hell out of my ring!

“Longhorn” plays in the arena, and JBL hands the microphone off to one of the technical crewmembers nearby on the ramp. Triple H and Lesnar are then escorted out of the ring, over the barricade, and out of the ringside area on opposite sides of the arena.

LAWLER Wow, talking about laying down the law!

ROSS No kidding, King. But John is right, he’s been very lenient to Triple H and Brock Lesnar over the past few weeks, but it’s hard to control two massive superstars who can’t even control themselves.

COLE You’re right, JR. And if they can’t be professional, they don’t need to be here. Just think… to put things into perspective; tonight will be either Triple H or Brock Lesnar’s LAST night on RAW.

LAWLER Or, it might be both of their last night if they screw this final ‘chance’ up!

****** COMMERCIAL BREAK ******

We are back live in Milwaukee, and the all-to-intimidating piano theme hits in the arena. It’s very dark and mysterious – the only thing more mysterious is the man that walks out to it.

JUSTIN ROBERTS Ladies and gentlemen, the following contest is scheduled for one fall and will crown a new number one contender for the Intercontinental Championship! On the way to the ring first, from parts unknown… MR.

Soon, “Only One Can Judge” hits in the arena, to a mixed reaction from the crowd.

JUSTIN ROBERTS And his opponent, from Marietta, Georgia… CODY RHODES!

Rhodes walks out onto the stage slowly with his head down, staring at the ramp the entire way. When he gets to ringside, he looks up to the ring and takes a deep breath. His focus is written all over his face here, and he slides into the ring. He removes his outer robe, and tosses it to a ringside tech on the outside before the bell rings.

-----------------------------------------------------------
MATCH ONE; SINGLES MATCH
CODY RHODES vs. MR. S // ENDING
-----------------------------------------------------------

As soon as the bell rang, a focused and determined Rhodes would make the same mistake many superstars have made against this massive superstar in the past by charging in attempting to take him down with strikes. Needless to say, the size and power difference definitely came into play as the strikes barely phased the monster and each time Rhodes would go to attack, Mr. S would simply shove him down to the mat. The frustration in Rhodes began to build, but it did more harm than good for the young superstar. We join this match a mere five minutes into the contest where Mr. S has control of the match after a clothesline that’s nearly beheaded Rhodes.

S stalks his downed opponent, his burning blue eyes never once blinking or becoming any less intense. Cody struggles to stand to his feet. When he finally makes it to a vertical base, he finds himself staring at the sternum of the massive masked man, but fails to be intimidated. The heart of Rhodes is shown as he holds his ground, but then the stupidity of Rhodes is shown when he reaches up and slaps Mr S in the face! The audience replies with a loud “Ohhhh” and even a bit of a cheer as this is the ONLY offense from Rhodes that appears to have any effect! S stumbles backwards a few steps holding his jaw from the powerful slap, but quickly turns back to Rhodes with wide eyes and breathing heavily. The masked man lunges in to attack but Cody quickly rolls out of the way, ends up behind S, and kicks him in the back of the leg! The man’s right leg buckles under him, and it looks like Cody is starting to fire up! The crowd actually begins to cheer for Rhodes here – reluctantly preferring him over the large masked monster. Another hard kick from Rhodes, this time to S’s chest, has the man teetering but not down just yet! Cody wastes no time here, bounding off the ropes and then going for a dropkick but no!! Mr. S swats Rhodes’ legs away and stands to his feet! Cody scrambles up to his feet as well, and charges at Mr. S again only to be met by his massive boot! Rhodes goes down hard, and Mr. S drops a hard knee right onto his skull!

The damage has clearly been done, but S isn’t done yet --- he drops two more knees down on Cody’s head, and now Rhodes isn’t even selling anymore. In fact, Cody doesn’t appear to be moving at all. Mr. S lifts a practically unconscious Rhodes to his feet, and shoves his head between his legs. We saw this at Summerslam, and it looks like it’s about to happen again for Rhodes. The masked monster raises Rhodes up and slams him down with a hard powerbomb! Rhodes is now certainly unconscious, but S keeps Rhodes’ legs locked and raises him up again – another powerbomb! Still with legs locked, Mr. S raises and drops Cody with a third powerbomb, this time releasing him. The referee stands aside, almost afraid to reprimand the giant and Mr. S raises his right hand in the air while stepping on top of Rhodes’ chest for a cover.

One… Two… Three!

JUSTIN ROBERTS Ladies and gentlemen, here is your winner and the new number one contender for the Intercontinental Championship, MR. S!!

-----------------------------------------------------------

The closing bell rings, and Mr. S’s dark piano theme hits in the arena. Milwaukee has almost been hushed to a silence – the usual reaction to S’s brutal assaults, but he doesn’t care. He just shakes his head and walks away.

COLE Well, folks… if I may quote an old-school song here; “another one bites the dust.”

LAWLER That guy is unstoppable!

ROSS This masked man Mr. S has picked up yet another victory here tonight, this time claiming number one contendership for the Intercontinental Championship. So the match is set; next week he will go on to face the Big Red Machine KANE for the championship right here on RAW.

LAWLER Now THAT is a match that I gotta see!

COLE It will be a battle of the masked monsters, guys! And as impressive as Mr. S has been up until this point, I think it goes without saying that his opponent for next week is NO Cody Rhodes.

LAWLER That’s for sure. I think Mr. S might finally meet his match next week when he faces Kane – who just might be the only superstar as large, violent, and vicious as Mr. S himself.

ROSS I certainly look forward to seeing that match go down, King… and speaking of Kane, he’ll be in action later on tonight along with his brother The Undertaker in a tag team match against Christian and former Heavyweight Champion Randy Orton!

A match graphic shows on screen advertising the primary main event for the night, and before the commentators can make any more notes on the match, we are taken backstage. Here, Dolph Ziggler sits alone in the locker room with his United States Championship draped over his shoulder. He cracks a small grin, acknowledging the camera, and then wipes it away.

ZIGGLER All week I’ve been getting tweets, touts, and emails from all over with everybody asking the same thing… everybody wants to know WHY I did what I did to Shelton Benjamin at Summerslam. Frankly, the answer is simple: I DID IT BECAUSE I WANTED TO.

Dolph pauses, and adjusts the championship’s position on his shoulder.

ZIGGLER You see, people keep saying that we put on the match of the night at Summerslam… well guess what? You’re wrong. I … put on the match of the night at Summerslam. Shelton on the other hand, just strolled in, tried to steal my spotlight, and he FAILED. I don’t know who the hell he thought he was naming HIMSELF the number one contender to my United States Championship, but Benji needed to be humbled, and it just so happened that I was the first to oblige.

From the ringside area, we can hear a small amount of boos. Ziggler chuckles, and continues to speak.

ZIGGLER And after I brought him down a few pegs, you people actually expected me to be a good sport and shake his hand? Ha! You’re all just as naïve as him. Besides, sportsmanship is for ‘good guys’, and I don’t know if you’ve noticed this or not but…

Dolph leans forward, staring intently into the camera.

ZIGGLER I’M NOT… A GOOD… GUY.

He leans back into his seat, smiling.

ZIGGLER I’m not a good guy, I’m an extraordinary guy! And good guys like Benjamin have no place in the ring with me. He didn’t deserve that ladder match at Summerslam, nor does he deserve this rematch tonight. But you know what? I’m gonna give it to him. I’m gonna give it to him to prove a point. Shelton is just a normal guy with extraordinary moments. I on the other hand, am an extraordinary guy with an extraordinary life. And I have to spend my extraordinary life putting NORMAL guys like Benjamin in their place, so be it.

Ziggler removes the championship from his shoulder, and looks at it. We can almost see the champion’s pride in his eyes. He then stands to his feet, seemingly preparing to leave the scene but before he does, he delivers one final remark.

ZIGGLER Call me whatever you want… arrogant, cocky, a show off... either way, tonight won’t just be another five star Dolph Ziggler match… tonight will be the dawn of a new era. Tonight… you’ll all witness the birth… of the Era of Extraordinary.

At this, Dolph smiles brightly, winks at the camera, and walks out of frame. We hear the locker room door close and then we are taken back to the ringside area. Much to the audience’s dismay, the theme of “The Fit Club” comes on.

JUSTIN ROBERTS Ladies and gentlemen, the following contest is scheduled for one fall! On the way to the ring first, being accompanied by his manager Simon Dean… DAVID OTUNGA!

Otunga and Dean simultaneously appear on the set riding segways and wearing matching purple gear in their own respective styles. They zoom down the ramp ignoring the boos from the WWE fans, and park their segways at ringside before bounding up onto the apron and climbing into the ring. Suddenly, “La Vittoria E Mia” hits, and the Italian feel overcomes the arena.

JUSTIN ROBERTS And his opponent, from Calabria, Italy… he is one half of the WWE Tag Team Champions… SANTINO MARELLA!

And here comes the Italian Stallion! Marching out onto the stage confidently and playing his invisible trombone, Marella arrives to a relatively decent pop for a mid-card superstar. He parades valiantly down the ramp, enjoying the presence of the fans in the arena while he makes his way to the ring. At ringside, he slides in and walks directly to his corner as the match begins.

-----------------------------------------------------------
MATCH TWO; SINGLES MATCH
DAVID OTUNGA W/SIMON DEAN vs. SANTINO MARELLA // ENDING
-----------------------------------------------------------

For Marella, it seemed as if this match was all about embarrassing David Otunga – all of his offense being very upbeat and playful. Surprisingly enough, Marella would maintain control of the match in the early goings, until one of his playful celebrations lasted a bit too long, allowing David to capture the upper hand. We join this match about seven minutes into the match, where Otunga has the tag champion locked tight in a headlock. The fans are trying to will Santino back into the game with claps and cheers, but Otunga has the lock in much too tight, and Marella is slowly starting to fade. Simon is on the outside cheering his fellow ‘Fit Club’ member on, much to the audience’s dismay.

The referee steps in after losing response from Marella and raises his right arm in the air. The arm limply falls back to the mat. “ONE!!” David smiles and wrenches the headlock even tighter as the referee raises Santino’s arm again. Once again, the arm falls back to the mat. “TWO!!” For the final time, the referee raises Santino’s arm, but this time… it only falls halfway before becoming erect – there’s still life left in the Italian Stallion! The fans cheer as Otunga’s eyes widen, now struggling to keep his opponent grounded.

Marella fights and fights, until he’s finally on his feet! He shoots David off the ropes, but Otunga returns with a clothesline – that Santino splits under!! The two meet again in the center of the ring but this time Marella capitalizes with a HUGE hip toss that sends Otunga flying through the air! Santino Marella is in control now and the fans are cheering him on and hyping him up. He looks out into the audience, reaches inside his singlet… and pulls out the green sleeve! The audience pops a bit more as Marella secures the sleeve over his arm, positions it in the fashion of a defensive snake, and waits patiently for Otunga to stand to his feet. David starts to stir, but behind Marella, Simon Dean has leaped up onto the apron trying to get the referee’s attention! Santino hears the commotion, and has NONE of it – before you know it, SIMON GETS HIT WITH THE COBRA! The audience erupts as Simon crashes down to the floor clutching at his throat, but before Santino can celebrate he finds himself rolled up in a schoolboy pin from Otunga!

One… Two… Three!

JUSTIN ROBERTS Ladies and gentlemen here’s you winner… David Otunga!

-----------------------------------------------------------

Otunga’s theme hits in the arena, but is nearly drowned out by the boos from the Milwaukee fans. David scrambles out of the ring, clearly trying to separate himself from Santino Marella who is now up on his knees in total disbelief. Otunga walks around the ring to pick up his partner Simon Dean, and assists him to the ramp. David smiles brightly pointing to his head, yelling “I’m too smart!” to Marella in the ring. Simon on the other hand, raises an arm in the air as well, proud of his assist but still holding tight to his throat.

COLE What a win for David Otunga here!

LAWLER Are you kidding me? Otunga just stole that match and you know it!

COLE He didn’t steal anything! A win is a win, and David Otunga picks up another one for “The Fit Club” here tonight – this time at the hands of one-half the tag team champions.

ROSS Otunga’s partner Simon Dean just couldn’t help but to get involved in this match, and he got what he deserved for it! Nonetheless, the distraction allowed David Otunga just enough time to regroup and pick up the win.

COLE And that’s all that matters at the end of the day.

We take another look at Simon Dean and David Otunga celebrating at the top of the ramp, and then head to a commercial break.

****** COMMERCIAL BREAK ******

We're back live in Milwaukee, and Justin Roberts stands in the middle of the ring.

JUSTIN ROBERTS Ladies and gentlemen the following contest is a Summerslam rematch, and is for the WWE United States Championship!

“Ain’t No Stoppin’” hits in the arena, and sparkling gold pyro blasts from the staging of the HD entranceway.

JUSTIN ROBERTS On the way to the ring first; the challenger. From Orangeburg, South Carolina…. SHELTON BENJAMIN!!

Benjamin strides out onto the stage smiling brightly, obviously ready for his big rematch. However, something is different about his walk tonight—he appears to be very tense, which could only mean he’s still quite beat up from his Ladder Match at Summerslam. Nonetheless, he maintains his large smile, slapping hands with fans on the way down to the ring. When he gets to the ring, he gingerly leaps up onto the apron and climbs into the ring. Benjamin gets up on the middle rope and raises his arms to a big pop from the fans… but his feel-good moment is soon cut off by the sound of “Perfection”.

JUSTIN ROBERTS And his opponent, from Hollywood, Florida… he is the current United States Champion… DOLPH ZIGGLER!!

The camera cuts to the entranceway again, and out jogs Dolph Ziggler. He stops for a moment at the top of the ramp and runs his hands through his hair arrogantly before making his way down the ramp. With his championship wrapped tightly around his waist, he jogs up the ring steps and steps into the ring with a cocky grin. Ziggler also appears a bit sore here, but he continues his pompous entrance without hesitation. Soon, his music silences and he hands his Championship off to the referee, who raises it high and then calls for the opening bell.

-----------------------------------------------------------
MATCH THREE; SINGLES MATCH
United States Championship
SHELTON BENJAMIN vs. DOLPH ZIGGLER // ENDING
-----------------------------------------------------------

Once again these two athletic superstars meet, and once again they put on a fast-paced and adrenaline-pumping contest that has the fans on the edge of their seats. Shelton and Dolph are both obviously still feeling the effects of their ladder match at Summerslam, but spare no opportunity to outdo the other in offense. Eight minutes into this contest and it’s still anybody’s game. Dolph has control at the moment, however, after a quick thinking counter into a clothesline. Shelton is quick to his feet though, and Dolph bounds off the ropes taking Benjamin right back to the canvas with a swinging neck breaker! Ziggler goes for a quick cover:

One… Two… No!!

Benjamin kicks out at the count of two, and Ziggler appears the slightest bit surprised. He looks to the referee for confirmation but goes right back on the assault with a few forearms to Shelton’s head. Shelton curls up in an attempt to block some of the strikes, and it’s not long before the referee forces him to break it up. Ziggler complies, but goes right back for Benjamin and lifts him to his feet. A quick set up, and Dolph takes him right back down with a textbook suplex! Taking advantage of his control, Ziggler drops an elbow across Shelton’s sternum, driving the wind out of the Gold Standard! After two more elbows in quick succession, Dolph leaps into the air for one final elbow but this time Benjamin moves out of the way!! Ziggler’s elbow hits the canvas hard and the ‘extraordinary’ superstar lets out an agonized yelp, clutching it tightly. Shelton catches his breath and stands to his feet before going to Ziggler, who pops up and jabs Benjamin in the gut. Thrown off, but only temporarily, Shelton returns the favor with a forearm to Ziggler’s back. The Gold Standard lifts Dolph to his feet but Ziggler once again counters, this time with a boot to the gut! With Benjamin slumped over, Dolph leaps into the air for the fame-asser, but no!! Another counter, this time from Benjamin, who quickly rises up and catches Ziggler’s leg!! Dolph’s eyes widen, and Benjamin smile before kicking Ziggler’s teeth in with a beautiful spinning heel kick! Its Benjamin going over Dolph for a pin now;

One… Two… NO!!

Ziggler powers his shoulder off the canvas still holding on to his jaw from the devastating kick, and Benjamin picks him up to his feet. A quick whip to the ropes, and Dolph his the corner hard. Shelton runs in after him and leaps up, planting his feet onto Ziggler’s thighs; he’s going for a leapfrog! Unfortunately for Benjamin, Dolph shoves Benjamin back down to his feet and goes for a clothesline that gets countered into a do-si-do! Ziggler finds himself BACK in the corner and this time Shelton wastes no time leaping up, this time looking out into the audience and raising his right hand high in a balled fist. The fans cheer and count along as the Gold Standard rains down on Dolph’s forehead with right hands. “One! Two! Three! Four! Five! Six! Seven! Eight! Nine! TEN!” All ten fists find their marks, and Benjamin leaps down from the ropes, leaving a groggy Ziggler in the corner.

Shelton Benjamin charges into the corner and flies through the air for the Stinger Splash, but NO!! Dolph moves out of the way JUST in time and ZIG ZAG!! Ziggler hits the Zig Zag!! The arena is overrun by the roar of boos and jeers, and both superstars are down. However, even through the exhaustion and pain, Dolph manages to craws over Benjamin for the cover…

One… Two… Three!

JUSTIN ROBERTS Ladies and gentlemen your winner and STILL United States Champion… DOLPH ZIGGLER!

-----------------------------------------------------------

COLE STILL CHAMPION! Dolph Ziggler is still the United States Champion!!!

ROSS Indeed he is, Michael… another outstanding contest between these two superstars here tonight, and once again, Dolph Ziggler picks up the win.

LAWLER You gotta wonder what this does for Benjamin’s confidence, losing two championship matches in a row to the same guy.

ROSS I wouldn’t count on the Gold Standard having any less confidence than before, King. Both of these young men are extremely talented. EVENLY so, I would say, and this match could have gone either way. It just so happens that tonight, for the second time in a row, the win goes to THAT man, Dolph Ziggler.

COLE And whether you want to admit it or not, our reigning United States Champion is INDEED… EXTRAORDINARY! Haha!

LAWLER Oh please…

Shelton Benjamin is now sitting in the upright position in the corner, holding on to the back of his neck. He looks up the ramp at Ziggler and smirks. The camera cuts to Ziggler who returns the smile, yelling “Close but no cigar, Benji. I’M STILL CHAMPION BABY!” Dolph raises the US Championship in the air, and the camera cuts backstage to the interview grounds where we see Josh Matthews standing.

MATTHEWS Ladies and gentlemen, I’m your backstage correspondent John Matthews and I’m standing live with the current WWE Champion, CM PUNK!

The camera zooms out and we can hear the massive pop from the fans in Milwaukee. CM Punk stands next to Matthews smiling confidently and with the WWE Championship wrapped around his waist. Punk gives the belt a rub, and then turns his attention to Josh.

MATTHEWS Punk, last Sunday night at Summerslam you overcame what many thought would surely be the end of your championship reign when you defeated not one, but TWO of the most respected superstars in the WWE. How do you feel after completing this outstanding accomplishment?

Josh moves the microphone over to Punk’s mouth. Punk simply smiles and responds with a smug tone.

PUNK Y’known, as much as I want to say I accomplished something at Summerslam by beating those two… I didn’t. I didn’t accomplish anything… I fulfilled. I fulfilled my own personal prophecy. Four weeks ago I said that I would become WWE Champion, and I did. Three weeks ago on RAW I said that I would still be WWE Champion after Summerslam, and I am. Triple H and Brock Lesnar both made a big mistake by underestimating me, and they paid for it. Even if they WEREN’T at each other’s throats all night, I would’ve STILL walked out WWE Champion… why? Because of the one fact that I’ve been stressing all along; I am… the BEST… in the WORLD.

MATTHEWS And your thoughts on the ‘Loser Leaves RAW’ main event later on tonight between your two former contenders?

PUNK Whichever way it goes, good riddance. The way I see it, I warned them both from the get-go and they didn’t listen. Maybe it’s just me, but they both lack respect for authority, they lack respect for the rest of the guys in the locker room, and they lack respect for the WWE Universe. You can argue with me all you want, but fact is – if it wasn’t true, they wouldn’t be in the situation they’re in now.

MATTHEWS I see. Well, I don’t know if you heard or not, but it’s been rumored that tonight, General Manager Layfield will reveal a new set of contenders for your WWE Championship on WWE.Com. Is there anybody in particular you would want to face?

PUNK Of course I heard, Josh. I hear everything that involves this championship. And as far as Layfield’s announcement goes, he can bring whoever he wants up to the plate… but he’d better have a long list ready because one by one, they’ll all be taking a nice… long… nap.

Punk smiles and takes another look at his WWE Championship before walking off. The camera zooms in on Josh Matthews’ face before fading out to a commercial.

****** COMMERCIAL BREAK ******

As soon as we come back from commercial, “Close Your Eyes” hits in the arena, and the fans stand to their feet.

JUSTIN ROBERTS Ladies and gentlemen, the following contest is a tag team match and is scheduled for one fall! On the way to the ring first… CHRISTIAN!

Christian walks from behind the curtain staring out into the packed arena. He smiles brightly, and then starts the walk to the ring. Along the way, he shakes hands with many of the fans in the front row smiling and pointing out to the crowd’s many “Captain Charisma” signs. He makes it to the immediate ringside area, and “Voices” hits which pops the crowd even louder!

JUSTIN ROBERTS And his partner: from St. Louis, Missouri… RANDY ORTON!!

The lights dim down to a red and orange hue, and out walks the former World Champion: The Viper, Randy Orton! Randy walks down the ramp with a very focused expression. He walks up the ring steps and climbs into the ring in his own world – a world where as his theme song says, the voices in his head never stop talking. He walks to the nearest corner, climbs up to the middle turnbuckle and raises his arms in the air, staring out into the audience absorbing all of their support. When he gets down, he walks to the center of the ring and a bell tolls…

JUSTIN ROBERTS And introducing their opponents… Kane, The Undertaker … THE BROTHERS OF DESTRUCTION!

The entire arena is now blacklighted -- the eerie purple hue with the occasional flash of white sets the tone, and a low fog spreads over the entranceway. The sound of "Graveyard Symphony" makes everyone stand to their feet, and through the thick fog walks none other than the Deadman himself, The Undertaker! Close behind him is his brother Kane, which cues a few fireballs to shoot from the stage as well. The Brothers pause at the top of the stage, staring down to the ring with blank faces -- their vintage intensity. They soon begins the slow and intimidating walk to the ring with the fans shouting behind him. Undertaker gets to the steps, and walks up them slowly before raising his arms to bring the lights back on in the arena. Kane on the other hand, enters over the top rope. Undertaker steps into the ring and removes the hood of his ring coat -- the thunder and lightning in the background adding extra atmosphere to the entrance and inspiring more cheers. A few seconds later, the music fades out.

-----------------------------------------------------------
MATCH FOUR; TAG TEAM MATCH
BROTHERS of DESTRUCTION vs. CHRISTIAN & RANDY ORTON // ENDING
-----------------------------------------------------------

With these four fan favorites in the ring, the arena was ELECTRIC – the Milwaukee crowd couldn’t pick a side to cheer for, so they just cheered everyone! Christian and Kane would start off the match for their respective teams and battle it out. Usually, the two would put on a solid wrestling match, but tonight, something was different about Kane… he seemed more intense… more powerful. The announcers would proceed to pass this as Kane feeding off of the power from the presence of his brother The Undertaker. We join this match about ten minutes into the contest, where a great deal of tags between both teams finds Kane in the ring with Randy Orton now.

The Big Red Machine currently has the Viper backed into a corner throwing multiple rights and lefts, before backing up and charging for a clothesline… but instead he runs into Orton’s boot! Kane stumbles back holding tight to his jaw, and Orton runs up to him and executes his signature backbreaker! He goes for a cover on Kane, but the Monster kicks out before the referee can even get into position to make a count. Orton appears just the slightest bit frantic here, but wastes no time in stomping away at Kane, circling his body and attacking each one of his limbs. Kane tries to cover up, but each one of the stomps find their mark, and Orton appears to be firing up a bit. Soon, he decides that he wants to end the match early, and he lays himself out on the canvas, pounding the mat intently… it’s time for the RKO! Kane begins to stir for a moment, and eventually makes it to his feet. Randy approaches Kane very quick, but not quickly enough as Kane simply shoves Orton into the corner and charges in after him, connecting with a thunderous clothesline! Orton’s body folds to the canvas, and Kane drags him out of the corner to pin him.

One… Two… NO!

Randy kicks out, and the match will continue. Kane stands to his feet and in another show of rather solid teamwork, tags in The Undertaker. Randy uses the turnbuckles to help him back to his feet, but doesn’t realize that he’s in a very bad position – in between Undertaker and Taker’s lethal hands. Taker rushes into the corner, delivering blow after blow to Orton’s head, chest, and stomach… each shot driving more and more wind out of the Viper. Orton counters with a huge vertical dropkick on the Deadman, and both men are down! Randy is the first up, and heads to the corner to tag in his partner Christian. Christian comes in with a full head of steam, and stalks Undertaker who slowly stands up… when he does, Christian hooks his arms and BOOM! Killswitch on the Undertaker!!! Christian immediately goes for the cover on the Deadman…

One… Two… NO!

The Undertaker kicks out with great force, and Christian can’t believe it! He stands up to confirm with the referee, but doesn’t see that Undertaker is now sitting in the upright position!! The crowd pops for the classic Undertaker gesture, and get even louder as Kane steps into the ring as well… Christian looks to be in big trouble here, but here comes Randy Orton!!! Orton goes for the RKO on Kane but no!! Kane shoves Orton forward and he ends up right in the hands of the Undertaker!! Orton’s eyes widen as he pleads with the Undertaker for a brief moment but before he knows it, he’s upside down and dropped on top of his head – Tombstone Piledriver!! Christian runs into the ring to break up Taker’s pin attempt, but he gets caught in the grasp of the Big Red Machine, and takes a hard chokeslam right next to Orton! Both Brothers cover their opponents for the pin and the audience counts along with the referee…

One… Two… Three!

JUSTIN ROBERTS Ladies and gentlemen, here are you winners; Undertaker… Kane… The BROTHERS OF DESTRUCTION!!

-----------------------------------------------------------

“Graveyard Symphony” hits again in the arena, and the fans pop huge again for the Brothers. They stand to their feet and shake hands in a rather brotherly show of respect for each other. The referee reappears on screen, this time holding Kane & Takers’ respective championships, which both superstars take and hold high above their heads.

LAWLER Thanks for coming, fellas!

ROSS The team of former champions put up a great fight here tonight, but they couldn’t take down the team of current champions… Kane and Undertaker.

We then cut backstage once again, this time with a split screen view. On either side, Brock Lesnar and Triple H exit their dressing rooms and are immediately joined by their security escorts. It looks like they’re headed to the ring.

ROSS Well, ladies and gentlemen… here they come!

COLE We’re going to take a quick commercial break, and when we return… our main event of the evening: Triple H versus Brock Lesnar in a Loser Leaves RAW match!

ROSS You’re looking at two of the most vicious superstars in the WWE, ladies and gentlemen… and tonight will be one of their last nights!

LAWLER Who will it be? We’ll find out… NEXT!

******COMMERCIAL BREAK******

We are back live for the final time in Milwaukee, and the ring bell sounds. The arena is nearly silent, but the silence soon breaks first with Michael Cole on commentary, then with the ring announcer Justin Roberts.

COLE Ladies and gentlemen, welcome back to Monday night RAW. We’ve had an amazing post-Summerslam night so far, but now… it’s time for the main event.

JUSTIN ROBERTS Ladies and gentlemen the following contest is a no disqualification match scheduled for one fall! By the order of our General Manager John Bradshaw Layfield, at the conclusion of this match, the superstar that is defeated will be dismissed from the RAW roster!

Immediately, “Next Big Thing” hits in the arena, and is responded too by a massively negative reaction from the WWE fans. The camera cuts to the RAW HD entranceway, where Brock Lesnar walks out onto the stage accompanied by six of the officers from JBL’s security team. Brock looks back at the security, and shakes his head before staring the walk to the ring. Lesnar is geared up in MMA attire, and is carrying a look that can only be described as intimidatingly intense.

JUSTIN ROBERTS On the way to the ring first, from Minneapolis, Minnesota… BROCK LESNAR!

JUSTIN ROBERTS And his opponent, from Greenwich, Connecticut… “The Game”, TRIPLE H!

The referee confirms that both men are ready, and the security escorts scurry out of the ring as the opening bell rings.

-----------------------------------------------------------
MAIN EVENT; NO DISQUALIFICATION MATCH
Loser Leaves Raw
BROCK LESNAR vs. TRIPLE H // ENDING
-----------------------------------------------------------

Violent. Vicious. An all out brawl. Those are the best ways to describe this final meeting between Triple H and Brock Lesnar – who have been waiting for this one on one opportunity for far too long it seems. What we’ve seen so far during this meeting could not even be considered a wrestling match so much as a collision of two rabid animals with a mean streak. We join the contest ten minutes in, and Brock Lesnar has temporarily gained the upper hand after a huge German Suplex to the Game.

Lesnar climbs out of the ring and heads to the timekeeper who scrambles out of the way, allowing Lesnar to pick up his chair. The fans start to cheer, and the announcers remind us that this IS a no disqualification match – and that whatever Lesnar does with the chair is perfectly legal. Brock tosses the steel chair over the top rope into the ring and slides in with an intense stare locked on Triple H. Lesnar picks the chair up, folds it, and stalks Triple H, anxiously waiting for him to stand up. Eventually he does, and Lesnar rears back for a chair shot but NO!!! Triple H ducks out of the way!! The momentum from missing the potentially huge blow sends the chair flying out of Brock’s hands, rattling rather noisily on the canvas. Brock loses sight of Triple H for just ONE SECOND… which proves to be more than enough to capitalize. Triple H whips Brock Lesnar to the ropes. When he returns, SPINEBUSTER ONTO THE CHAIR! Triple H immediately covers Lesnar, and the referee falls in to make the count.

One… Two… No!

Lesnar kicks out much to the fans’ dismay, and Triple H rolls him off the chair before picking it up again. Brock crawls over to the ropes, using them to aide his struggle to get to his feet, and when he turns around he gets nailed right in the stomach! Lesnar lets out a loud cry of agony, and a satisfied Cerebral Assassin tosses the chair out of the ring. Triple H hooks Lesnar’s arms setting up for the Pedigree, but Lesnar manages to wiggle free and ends up lifting The Game up. Before the announcers even have time to make note of the counter, Lesnar takes Hunter down with an F-5!! Lesnar hooks HHH’s leg in hopes of putting the match away.

One… Two… NO!!

The Game kicks out and the match will continue! Lesnar glares at the referee for confirmation and yells “fuck” before mounting Hunter and wailing away with more right hands. Triple H tries to cover himself up, but the F-5 from Lesnar has clearly done some damage, as most of the blocks fail. Triple H realizes he’s in a bad situation though, and powers out of the predicament. Brock stumbles away, which gives Triple H JUST enough time to crawl to the ropes. Lesnar charges him, but the veteran Triple H reaches up and pulls down the top rope sending Brock Lesnar barreling out of the ring! Lesnar shows a bit of ring awareness as well, grabbing on to the middle rope and landing on the apron, but now he finds himself face-to-face with Triple H. Hunter grabs him by the shoulders, and hauls Lesnar back into the ring over the top! Brock hits the canvas hard but immediately rolls up and is whipped into the corner. Hunter follows close behind, and connects with a thunderous clothesline! Triple H charges into the corner for another clothesline but this time Lesnar moves out of the way and Hunter hits the turnbuckles hard. Using this as his open opportunity, Brock turns Triple H around and hoists him up… the fans start to boo, but it doesn’t matter because HHH is soon twirling through the air. LESNAR HITS THE F-5 AGAIN!! Brock roars victoriously and covers Triple H for the win.

One… Two… THRE-NOOOO!!

Triple H powers his shoulder off the canvas and the crowd goes wild! Even Brock can’t believe the epic amounts of resilience being shown by The Game here as he begins to yell at the, referee. The referee insists that it was only a two-count, but that’s not the answer Brock was looking for. Lesnar grabs the referee by his shirt, shouting “It was three! Say it was three!” The referee refuses to change his decision, and an estranged Lesnar shoves him to the ground violently. The referee scurries backwards to escape Brock’s reach, but the animal’s target is locked, and the referee is left helpless. Brock gets closer and closer, but the referee crawls himself into a corner – nowhere to go from here. The frightened official closes his eyes bracing for impact, but before Lesnar can do anything he looks back to check on Triple H who has made it to his feet! Lesnar mumbles a few inaudible obscenities to himself, and then goes for Triple H who plants him with a spine buster out of nowhere!! The audience erupts, and Triple H appears to have gotten a second win from SOMEWHERE as he fires up. Through the pain that MUST be shooting through Lesnar’s spine, he stands to his feet and gets booted in the gut by the Cerebral Assassin. With Brock slumped over, Triple H hooks his arms up and leaps off the mat…

PEDIGREE!! The fans go nuts as Brock’s face slams into the canvas, and the announcers sell the obvious – it’s surely over for Lesnar at this point. Triple H remains kneeled down, and looks at Lesnar with a disdainful glare. He then lays on the mat and rolls out of the ring – could he be leaving? No, of course not. Hunter draws his hair back and takes a deep breath. He looks a tad more relaxed now, but still very intent as he does just what the crowd wanted – he lifts the ring apron. The fans pop as Triple H pulls a sledgehammer from under the ring and stares at it, almost as if connecting with it on an emotional level. Hunter slides into the ring with the hammer in hand, and turns his attention to Brock Lesnar. Jerry Lawler makes a note that it’s probably best for Lesnar to stay down, while Michael Cole suggests that this is “too far”. Triple H clutches the sledgehammer tight and yells for Brock to get up. You can see the intensity in The Game’s eyes – tonight, he wants to legitimately end this rivalry AND his rival. Lesnar finally gets to his feet and Triple H exclaims “It’s OVER” before stepping in and swinging the sledgehammer, but NOOO!!! Lesnar ducks out of the way and hoists The Game up onto his shoulders!! Triple H is caught off guard here and drops the hammer, but before he can counter, F-5!! F-5!! A THIRD F-5 FROM LESNAR!! This time, all hope is lost for The Game and a few Lesnar fans can be heard counting amidst all the heat in the arena.

One… Two… THREE!

JUSTIN ROBERTS Ladies and gentlemen, here is your winner… BROCK LESNAR!

-----------------------------------------------------------

LAWLER Oh my God, he did it!! Brock Lesnar just beat Triple H!!!

ROSS Which unfortunately means that this brutal contest will be Triple H’s last!!

COLE The King of Kings has just been dethroned!

Brock’s theme hits in the arena, and he stands to his feet – clearly well beyond exhausted from the hellacious match. However, Lesnar isn’t done just yet. He takes another look at his fallen opponent, and then glances over at the sledgehammer. He picks it up, and the audience gets even louder with their boos than before. Brock stares at the hammer for a moment, and says “It’s over, Hunter.” Just then, the only thing that can be heard over the boos is the voice of General Manager Layfield who has appeared at the top of the ramp accompanied by his security team.

GM LAYFIELD You do it and your career is over, Lesnar.

Lesnar grins menacingly, but considers John’s words and drops the hammer. Layfield’s frustration with this entire situation shows all over his face here, and his voice is very stern.

GM LAYFIELD Get out.

Brock reluctantly obliges, and climbs out of the ring slowly. The camera cuts to Triple H who has crawled over to the corner, sitting in the upright position. He looks disappointed, because he knows this will indeed be his final time in a RAW ring.

GM LAYFIELD As for you Triple H… Your competitive nature has always gotten the best of you. When something gets personal with you, you don’t know how to control yourself… you become reckless, careless, and disobedient to authority. And while the same goes for Brock Lesnar, as I said earlier tonight… this was your last chance. It’s going to pain me to do this as a business man, and I KNOW I’m going to get hell from the Board of Directors… but I laid down the stipulation so I have to go through with it. Security…

The security team now leaves John’s side, and head to the ring. They all climb into the ring, very cautious, but aide Triple H to his feet. Hunter cooperates, partially because of the emotional grief he’s feeling, and partially because he simply doesn’t have the energy to resist. The camera cuts to Layfield, who takes a deep breath, and delivers the line that nobody wanted to hear.

GM LAYFIELD Triple H… YOU’RE FIRED.

The audience erupts with boos, and security clears a path for Triple H to go. However, he doesn’t leave. Instead, he calls for a microphone.

TRIPLE H Y’know… if you told me earlier tonight that tonight would be my last night on the RAW roster, I woulda Pedigree’d your ass right where you stood and told you to SUCK IT. But here I am.,, leaving the RAW ring for the final time… and I gotta say, it hurts. My entire career… blood, sweat, and tears… GALLONS of it… left right here in this ring.

The fans cheer Triple H here, obviously because they appreciate all that Hunter has done for the red brand. The Game looks around the arena nostalgically, and then turns his attention to the General Manager.

TRIPLE H John, you’re right… my competitive nature does get the best of me… but that’s how I was trained… that’s how I LIVE. I’ve made mistakes, I’ve lost matches before, I’ve been the good guy and the bad guy, and I’ve fought just about every damn person there is to fight. The years that made up my career have been physically, mentally, and emotionally exhausting… but I don’t regret a SINGLE second of it.

Another pop here.

TRIPLE H I wanted this fight, and I lost… that’s the way it happened and that won’t change. So John, I’ll go now… but mark my words:

Triple H walks to the ropes closest to the ramp, and extends his index finger to JBL with a very stern expression.

TRIPLE H This is NOT the last you’ll hear from the King of Kings.

At this, Triple H drops the microphone, and “The Game” hits in the arena … for the very final time. The fans begin to cheer “Tri-ple-H!! Tri-ple-H!!” and Hunter looks very somber… almost brought to tears by this amazing show of respect and appreciation from the WWE fans.

LAWLER I… I’m still in shock.

ROSS I think we all are, King. Some heartfelt words from the Cerebral Assassin here, and an even more heartfelt show of appreciation from the WWE fans here tonight.

COLE Unfortunately, ladies and gentlemen, this is the final time we will see Triple H here on Monday Night RAW…

LAWLER It can’t be!

ROSS I’m afraid there’s no other option, King.

COLE Ladies and gentlemen, thank you for joining us tonight… we hope you’ve enjoyed the program this evening, it’s always a pleasure to have you. See you next Monday, folks!

There’s one more shot of Triple H at the top of the ramp, and he grins through the emotional struggle he MUST be going through at the moment. The grin is obviously one of nostalgia, and our last image of Triple H is him saluting the WWE fans. We then fade to the WWE Logo, and the show has come to a close.

END BROADCAST.

This is my first time actually reviewing one of your shows and I must say that, after weeks of skimming through, this is one interesting piece right here. So here goes nothing.

What a way to kick off RAW. A good 'ol pull apart brawl, and, JBL making him presence felt as GM (ps what a brilliant idea to have JBL run things on RAW, he's great and you portray as is). The Main Event will be most interesting and is a HUGE one for a RAW show.

This Mr. S is a very intriguing superstar if I may say so myself. There aren't any actual traits I could compare him to with the current giants of the wrestling biz. Rhodes was just another victim here tonight, and, we'll get Mr. S's first real test against Kane next week, for a title no less. It doesn't look too good for Kane mind you.

Excellent promo by Ziggler, finally he gets to shine!! The Era of Extraordinary sounds cool to me!

The Fit Club what I enjoy most out of all the new characters you have brought in in this BTB. I just can't get enoug of Simon Dean I guess. It was an okay match, and, in the end, Otunga wins via a distraction which is neither good nor bad for the continuation of all of this.

Thus far, I'm really liking the three men team of Cole, JR & King.

MOTN thus far between Ziggler & Benjamin. I never really liked the "Gold Standard" gimmick because I don't Benjamin can carry a singles run alone, but, there's no denying just how good he is in the ring. And this was no difference. Your typical rematch after a grueling Ladder Match at SummerSlam and so begins the Era of Extraordinary. I really liked the end spot. Nicely done.

Great Punk interview, I guess that the contenders will be options for Cyber Sunday? I am really putting the emphasis on the pural of contender you used because that means surprise contenders and potential dream matches. YAY!

The Main Event was tremendously built up to. I was a bit dissapointed with the actual lack of involvment of the actual No DQ rule. We saw the chair and the sledgehammer but not outside action for such a big match and no announcer's desk spot (even though cliche) was definitely something that was missing. I'm very shocked that Brock won, but, I guess that HHH is not the young lion he once was. His farewell speech so to speak was great, although I'm sure or maybe we'll see the Game one last time on RAW next week with a surprise farewell adress with the pressure JBL will get from the Board of Directors.

OVERALL = 8/10. It's always hard sometimes to book the show following a Pay-Per-View because you sometimes need to continue the feuds and even though the audience is always waiting for something big and new, it's not always delivered. But just with the main event, that element of surprise and shock was delivered. Every match on the card was booked as it should and I really enjoyed everything from top to bottom, you really did justice to RAW 2012 but, by adding your booking flair to it.

RAW Review

Pros:
- I really love the fact that Lesnar's and Triple H's hatred for each other is tearing RAW apart. JBL also being impartial is also really interesting..

- Mr. S is such a good angle and just a great monster. I love the fact that he doesn't give a damn if you're heel or face, he's just a machine that destroys everything in sight..

- I really enjoyed Ziggler's cockiness in his interview. The fact that he takes credit for the match at SS being a classic is just one of the reasons you just wanna hate this guy. My favorite part was when Ziggler called Shelton "a normal guy with extraordinary moments", such a great and somewhat true insult. The "Era of Extraordinary" gimmick is INFINITELY better than the "Show-Off" gimmick..

- Simon Dean and Otunga are MONEY! I've always loved Simon Dean and I see this team sort of like those infomercials where you see a celebrity like Chuck Norris promoting his "revolutionary new" workout system..

- Ziggler/Shelton was pretty good. I liked that both men sold injuries from the previous night's ladder match. Ziggler winning, while predictable" was the right way to go..

- Pretty good tag match, although I was a bit surprised that BOD dominated. I wonder if this means they're reuniting or perhaps it will have something to do with Kane/Mr. S next week, hmmmm.

- Trips/Lesnar didn't feel quite as epic as it could have been, but as is it was fine. I did really like that Trips going for the sledgehammer bit him in the ass and cost him the match.

- I really liked Layfield in the end remaining impartial and stopping Lesnar and I LOVED that Lesnar still wanted to hurt Triple H after the match, instead of a cheesy thing like a handshake or a hug. Triple H's promo afterward was also very well done..

Only one con on the show..

Cons:
- Lesnar/HHH with the loser leaving happening on RAW seemed rather anti-climatic. I would've liked to see a build-up around Lesnar/Trips not being able to hurt each other for more than one night and lead up to a PPV match. My guess is you having something else big planned for Brock..

Overall:
Good show with some quality matches, though it seemed a tad bit short. Keep it up..

JAM's Review
Some pretty big stuff that went down at the beginning of the show. Already you could lose one or both of your big stars on RAW. I'm thinking HHH gets the boot tonight but he's never really gone is he? The rivalry between Brock and HHH has been good thus far but I do think it needs to come to a head soon so that one of them could go for the title to put over Punk even more. Also, I'm lovin' JBL as a GM, you've got his character down to a tee. Maybe we'll see him in the ring in the near future?

This Mr. S character has been really interesting. I think that maybe you'll reveal his identity soon with Kane as his opponent. Those two will surely put on quite a match of strength against each other. And it seemed like Cody is turning face? Don't know if that may be, but I'd like to see it actually. Don't know if it'd work but it's worth a shot. Ziggler was very interesting here, Mr. Extraordinary huh? I can dig this new gimmick but I think that maybe “The Showoff” may be a better gimmick for him but we'll see how it goes. The Fit Club gets another win here, oh Simon Dean. That's all I'll say about it.

Another Ziggler vs. Benjamin match is a real treat, would've loved to see this in person. Not sure what happens next since I don't think you'd wanna give Benjamin another shot. Maybe it becomes a triple threat with someone? No idea what Dolph will be up to next. As for the Punk promo, that was really good imo. You did well in portraying Punk as a dominant champion here belittling Brock and HHH which makes Punk look strong. You've got him down well as well, much like your other characters. So good job with that!

Hmm, don't you think 'Taker and Kane teaming up would be advertised more? Plus, it was a pretty big-time match against former world champions in Orton and Christian. I just think that it could've been advertised more since these guys are pretty big names. Plus, having 'Taker on RAW is a rarity, and it would mean more if his presence was hyped, I guess. But overall, this match was really good, probably match of the night for me.

The main event was truly something to see. Both men gave it their all and I think you did have enough spots since the stipulation was DQ, didn't think it needed any other. Involving the sledgehammer was a good touch you had on the match as well. HHH's promo at the end I wasn't sure of. He just went through a battle with Brock so I don't know if he had it in him to say what he said. But I agree that this isn't the end for HHH, he'll be back for sure.

Overall, you advanced things very nicely. It'll be interesting to see what happens now that the Brock/HHH saga is seemingly over. I still don't quite understand why Smackdown isn't being written? Is WWE now only a one show company? But anyway, I like reading your full shows, you got the dialogues down and the matches are well written. Good job with this episode, will be reading the next one! (Y)
