WWE: The Future of Pro-Wrestling

First of all sorry for not posting this in the review and also for not posting WM 28 up. I should have it up later today as I only need to write down two more matches.

Rumors

Vince McMahon to fire people live at WM- There has been many speculation that after the roster change Vince will actually fire people live. As no one knows what the changes are that is one thing going through many people’s mind.

CM Punk and Bryan to retain their titles- Apparently Vince feels that if Punk and Bryan retain their belts it will raise morale backstage and make for better matches.

Old Stars coming back- There are numerous rumors that Vince has signed a couple of old superstars back. Many of the names are at Miami tonight for WM but no one knows if they are there to watch the show or make their return. And with the new rosters being announced they can show up. The top three names rumored to resign are MVP, Batista, and Brock Lesnar

WWE to announce another WM main event one year in advance-Yes Vince is said to be high on announcing Rock/Cena a year in advance so he might make it a tradition so watch out for Vince announcing another WM main event early

IWC’s Thoughts

Rock/Cena- Many of the IWC are rooting for The Rock but are prepared for Cena to win

Bryan/Y2J/Orton- The IWC most anticipated match. Many of the IWC want their darling Bryan or Y2J to win but fear Orton might win

10 Man Tag-Team Match, Divas Tag-Team match, and Ziggler/Swagger- The IWC doesn’t really care about these matches and see them as fillers

Cody/Goldust- The IWC is strongly behind Cody in this one but some are hoping for Goldust to pull the upset

Punk/Kane-The IWC is furious that Punk is in a match with Kane at WM because they think he deserves better

RVD/Morrison-The IWC thinks that this match will steal the show and hope they get more than ten minutes

Also moving on to the predictions I will be accepting predictions. For every correct winner and finish you get 1 point the winners will receive credits.

1st place-500 credits
2nd place-200 credits
3rd place- 100 credits

I know they might be a little but as this thread grows more credits will be up for grabs
Bonus Questions

1. Predict the Match order.( whoever guesses the correct card order will receive 10 points. You also get one point for each match you get in the right order)

2. Name weapons/objects that will be used in the RVD/Morrison(one point for each correct object/weapon)

3. What is going to be the Longest Match?

4. What is going to be in the Shortest Match?

5. Who will get pinned/force to tap in the 10 Man Tag-Team Match?(worth 3 points)

6. Who will be revealed as the New GM’s?(one point for each)

7. Will there be any returns? If so who(one point for each if there are any returns

A huge ovation for the chairman of the board as soon as his music hits. The Chairman comes out with a microphone in hand and stays on the WrestleMania stage. (He looks all over the stadium as the crowd is still cheering)

Vince: Welcome to WrestleMania (The crowd erupts when he says that) I said welcome to WrestleMania (Crowd erupts one more time) Tonight is when superstars are born. Tonight is when superstars are made. Tonight is when everyone lays it all out in that ring (Points at the ring). And for one night nothing else matters but stealing the show at WrestleMania (Crowd pops one more time) But before we get the night started I like to address some issues. See tonight is going to start a journey. I want every single superstar I mean wrestler in the back to listen to what I’m about to say. After tonight everything will change. Nothing will be the same after tonight. So for everyone in the back even if you are not on the card. I want you from this moment on to reach for that brass ring. Like Punk (Huge pop for the mention of his name) said we are going to have fun. So staring tomorrow there will be major changes to the WWE. First of all the brand split will be enforced more. That means you can’t show up on the show you are not signed to. Unless the GM of the brand allows you to be there. So while we are on the brands Monday Night Raw will still be on Monday’s. Superstars will now be on Wednesday’s. Superstars will be the only place where wrestlers from different brands can wrestle each other, basically what I’m saying anyone can show up at Superstars (Crowd pops). The location of Superstars will take place in the area around the following venue of the next pay-per-view. SmackDown will still be on Friday’s but this time it will be live. (Crowd pops) Now onto the titles. The WWE championship will now be officially on SmackDown and the World Heavyweight championship will be on Raw. (Crowd pops) That means the winners of the championship bouts tonight will be on the brand that the title is going to be on. As for the U.S. and Intercontinental championships they will be staying on Raw and SmackDown respectively. That does mean Christian (Crowd pops) who is the current U.S champion is officially on Raw now. And either Cody Rhodes or Goldust will stay on the SmackDown with the title depending on who wins tonight. As for the Divas championship that is vacated it will be active again now on the SmackDown brand. And also I bringing back the Women’s championship and placing it on the Raw brand. As for the Tag-Team titles that have also been vacated there will be split into the returning WWE Tag-Team championships that will be on SmackDown brand and the World Tag-Team championships that will be on the Raw brand. Now before we start the night let me tell you who the new GM’s will be. I can only choose two people who I can trust to run my shows. So without further delay the new GM for Monday Night Raw is my beautiful daughter Stephanie McMahon (Huge pop) and running SmackDown my intelligent son Shane McMahon. (Huge Pop) Now they are backstage trying to pick there new rosters. (Crowd starts chanting Vince) And before The Rock (Huge pop) and John Cena (Huge mix reaction) destroy each other the new GM’s will announce the new rosters. Well now let’s get this show started (Huge pop) and I promise you a great night that you will never forget, a night full of surprises. (Vince gives the camera a weird and eerie look)

Jerry Lawler: Yes it’s finally here the biggest night of the year

Jim Ross: And as you guys heard earlier we have new GM’s for Raw and SmackDown

Jerry Lawler: Yes and we will also find out the new rosters tonight. But anyways let’s go to Lillian Garcia who is about to sing “America the Beautiful”

Lillian Garcia sings “America the beautiful” and the crowd gives her a standing ovation.

Lillian: The following contest is a Falls Count Anywhere Match

“One of a Kind”
*Big pop from the crowd*

Lillian: Making his way to the ring from Battle Creek, Michigan Rob Van Dam

Jim Ross: What an ovation as RVD makes his return to WrestleMania

RVD starts coming down the ramp smacking a couple of the fans hands on his way to the ring. He does his usual ring theatrics.

“Ain’t no make believe”
*Nice pop*

Lillian: And his opponent from Los Angeles, California John Morrison

Jerry Lawler: Morrison and RVD claim they will steal the show but only time can tell

Falls Count Anywhere Match
RVD vs. John Morrison

The bell rings as both men stare at each other and the crowd pops. They both lock up as they try to out strength each other. They both let go as neither is able to out match the other. They stare into the crowd as the crowd pops one more time. RVD hits Morrison with a right hand as he as distracted with the crowd. RVD punishes with right hand and left hands until Morrison is back onto the top right turnbuckle. Now he is stomping away. He stops for a second then hits him with a right stomp to the head. RVD does his thumb taunt as the crowd chants his name. He goes to the outside now as is looking for something from under the ring. After a couple of seconds he pulls out a chair as the crowd pops one more time. He brings in the ring and sets it on Morrison who is still out sitting down by the turnbuckle. RVD holds on to the top rope and jumps up and comes down with his two legs hitting the chair that was placed on Morrison. The Crowd starts chanting “Holy S***.” RVD now goes for a pin fall.

He grabs the Kendo Stick and puts it the air for the crowd to see. He then hits the trash can that was placed over RVD multiple times as the crowd “oh’s” every shot he takes. Morrison gets angry and punches the referee.

Jim Ross: What the hell was that for the Ref was just telling you what to do!!!

Jerry Lawler: John Morrison is showing us a very different side tonight. But the ref can’t disqualify for what he did since anything goes in this match.

Morrison is now climbing the bottom left turnbuckle. He looks back at RVD who is still laid out on the barricade. Morrison is preparing himself for something but he looks like he is second guessing it. After a couple of seconds he does a moonsault and hits it on RVD. They both fall onto the floor on fan’s side of the barricade. Crowd is chanting “ Holy S***.”

Jim Ross: By god almighty I think he killed him!!!!!

Jerry Lawler: That has to be one of the most impressive moonsaults I’ve ever seen.

In a matter of moments The Rock (Huge Pop) and John Cena (Huge mixed reaction) will meet face to face in a Once in a Lifetime match. But first let’s meet the new rosters. My daughter is going to announce her roster first and then my son is going to the same. Each brand is going to have 25 superstars and 5 divas. But my two children have only chosen 22 members for their roster including all the divas. The other 8 are going to be decided in matches on the following weeks on either Raw, SmackDown, or Superstars. Oh by the way if you are not on the final roster or in a match to make it on the final roster. YOU’RE FIRED (Huge Pop). Now let’s hear my beautiful daughter’ picks.

Cena finally gets up and Rocky goes for another Rock Bottom but Cena counters it and runs towards the ropes and comes back with a flying shoulder. The crowd starts Booing. He goes and nails another flying shoulder.Rocky goes up and goes for a closeline but Cena ducks and hits his spin out powebomb. He throws his hand up in the air and does his “You Cant See Me” gesture to the Rock. He goes to the ropes and hits his Five knuckle shuffle. Cena is now the one stalking rocky waiting for him to get up. Rocky finally gets up and Cena puts him on his shoulders in the AA position. Cena looks into the camera and hits the AA. The crowd Boo’s. He is about to cover him but instead picks him up and throws him to the right tope corner. Cena starts putting the Rock on the top turnbuckle. But instead of going for a Superplex he puts Rocky on his shoulders again.

Jim Ross: Is he going for what I think he is going for

Jerry Lalwer: Yes John Cena wants to make sure The Rock doesn’t kick out.

Cena has Rocky on his shoulders as the crowd is going nuts. He looks around the stadium as the crowd is on their feet. He finally hits a top rope Attitude Adjustment. The Crowd pops huge for it. Cena covers The
Rock.

“My Time is Now”

Winner Via Pinfall John Cena (16:28)

Howard: Here is your winner John Cena

Jim Ross: Well John Cena has this Once in a Lifetime match

Jerry Lawler: But knowing The Rock’s ego this might not be a Once in a Lifetime match.

John Cena starts posing and The Rock gets up in his face Cena extends his hand towards The Rock. Rocky looks around the crowd and some are Booing and some are cheering for them to shake hands. The Rock extends his hand and are about to shake hands.

“Radio”
*Nice Pop*

Zack Ryder comes out and stops on the ramp. He has a straight face on. The Rock and John Cena look confused. The fans are also confused. Ryder also has a different shirt on its plain black in the front and by the angle the camera cant see whats on the back.

Jim Ross: What is Zack Ryder doing out here?

Ryder points towards the entrance.

“I am Perfection”
*Nice Pop*

Jim Ross: Now Ziggler is out here

Ziggler comes out with the same shirt Ryder has on and stands next to him on the ramp. They both look at each other thenpoint toward the entrance again.

“This Fire Burns”
*Huge Pop*

Jim Ross: Now CM Punk but I want to know what this is about

CM Punk comes out with the same shirt too and stands on the ramp in the middle of Ryder and Ziggler. They make a couple of steps towards the ring but they stop. Cena and Rocky look confused. They turn around and point at the entrance again. The stadium is quit but you can hear the buzz as they anticpate who’s coming out next.

“Invasion”
*Monstrous Pop*

Jim Ross: Is that who I think it is. Can it be Goldberg

Rocky and Cena faces are completely in shock. The camera switches to a door backstage. The crowd is roaring. The Door bursts right open but its not Goldberg. The crowd starts to Boo. This unknown wrestler is walking out with his face down the whole time. He is also wearing the same shirt as the rest. The commentators are absoultly quiet now. He goes thru the backstage and finally walks to the ramp with the rest. He still has face down. He is shorter than Punk, Ziggler, and Ryder. They are lined up on the ramp and the unknown wrestler raises his head up for everyone to see. And it is someone that no one has ever seen. He looks to be Hispanic in his late teens maybe early 20’s. They all turn around and the shirt they have says on the back. “The Future of Pro Wrestling” with teir respective names on it. The unknown wrestler has the name Victor Garcia on his. All four walk towards the ring as the crowd is giving a mixed reaction. All four get one side of the ring each. All four hops on their side of the apron. They all stare down Rocky and Cena. They go in the ring and start beating down Cena and Rocky. Cena and Rocky try to fight back but are out numbered and are sent to the outside of the ring. Punk asks for a microphone and gets one. But gives the Microphone and gives it to the unknown wrestler. But as he is about to speak Fear comes out and Ryder, Punk, and Ziggler meet them on the top of the ramp and they start brawling. They take to the brawl to the back. And now the attention is on the unknown wreslter in middle of the ring.

Unknown Wrestler: My name is Victor Garcia

The Crowd gives him a mixed reasction.

Victor: And I am The Future of Pro Wrestling. As you seen a while back CM Punk, Zack Ryder, and Dolph Ziggler where out here with me. They are my allies in this formation known as “The Future of Pro Wrestling”. I cannot reveal the mastermind behind this formation but I would say this that the mastermind is going to be revealed soon. This formation was made for one sole purpose only and that is to lead the Pro Wrestling industry to next era. But the sole reason why I’m part of this alliance is to end The Undertaker’s Streak. So as of right now im issuing the challenge to you Deadman. You and me main event next year’s WrestleMania In my hometown and I end the streak. Taker I know you’re here so come out here and accept my challenge.

*Gong*
*Huge Pop*

“Graveyard Syphony”
*Huge Pop*

Taker comes out and makes his way to the ring. He gets in the ring and the music stops and the crowd is going crazy. He looks at Victor and nods in a Yes manner. The crowd Pops. Victor backs up into a corner of the ring and Taker does the same. The crowd is going nuts. Then they meet up in the middle of the ring and start exchanging right hands. They keep going for a while until Victor picks him up on his shoulders. The crowd is in awe because Taker appears to be atleast 1 feet taller than him. Victor hits what appears to be an F-5. Victor picks up Taker and hits him with a Diamond Cutter/RKO variation of the move. He then goes up to the top rope and hits a Frog splash. Victor then proceeds to leave the ring. TFOPW (The Future of Pro Wrestling) come out and walk Victor up to the stage.

"Cult of Personality"
*Mixed reaction*

. A banner with the WM 29 logo on it is lowered and is right above TFOPW heads. Another banner falls down and is next to the first one but this one had The Undertaker Face on it. Another Banner falls and stops to the left of the first one and it has Victor’s face on it. The stadium goes completely dark and spotlights turn on just on TFOPW members and the banners. Suddenly The Undertaker’s banner is set on fire mysteriously. The camera zooms in on Taker’s banner while it is burning. WM 28 goes off the air with the image of Taker’s banner burning.

WWE: The Future of Pro-Wrestling

WrestleMania 28 Results, News, Rumors, and the IWC’s thoughts

Results:

RVD def. John Morrison in a Falls Count Anywhere Match

Dolph Ziggler def. Jack Swagger in a singles Match

Kharma and Mickie James def. Trish Stratus and Layla a Divas Tag-Team Match

Cody Rhodes def. Goldust in a Title vs. Career Match with Dusty Rhodes as the special guest referee to retain the Intercontinental Chapmionship

CM Punk w/ Zack Ryder and Dolph Ziggler def. Kane w/ Mark Henry and Brodus Clay in a singles Match to retain the WWE Championship

Alberto Del Rio, Primo & Epico, The Miz, and Sheamus def. Christian, Rey Mysterio, Air Boom, and The Big Show in a Ten man Tag-Team Match

Chris Jericho w/ Triple H def. Daniel Bryan and Randy Orton in a Triple Threat Match to become the new World Heavyweight Champion

John Cena def. The Rock in a singles Match

News and Rumors:

Vince McMahon’s opening promo was apparently not scripted at all and people backstage didn’t know what was going on until he actually said it.

Many people backstage loved the RVD/Morrison match and it is rumored that they may have a triple threat match with Cody Rhodes for the Intercontinental Championship at Backlash.

The Divas Tag-Team match was apparently the beginning of the resurrection for the Divas Division.

The Ziggler/Swagger match was made short so they could make Ziggler look tough for the ending. As of now many don’t know where Swagger is going to go from here.

The Rhodes family match was felt to be the final match for Goldust who has expressed that he wanted his brother to retire him. Involving Dusty was actually a last minute addition that they came up with that morning. As for Cody many expect him to drop the belt soon and start a chase for the WWE Title.

The Punk/Kane match was very appreciated backstage. The rumor going around is they may have a six man tag-team match at Backlash with the team of Punk, Ryder, and Ziggler vs. Fear. As for Punk’s title reign there is no plan of having him drop the belt soon.

Rumor is that the winners of the ten man tag-team match might not receive their title shots soon and they may have to wait as long as maybe SummerSlam. Also apparently Rey might be using the 619 theme from now on.

Many feel the World Heavyweight championship was the best match of the night. As for Chris Jericho holding the title he is in line for a long reign with the title. And The Bryan and Jericho feud is apparently not over and they will have a rematch at Backlash most likely with a gimmick match added to the mix. As for Orton no one knows where he is going as he was transferred to SmackDown now.

The feeling backstage was that the Rock/Cena match was good but it could have been better. Also many talent backstage are furious that The Rock got to main event and only wrestled for less than 20 minutes. But the decision was made so The Rock couldn’t get hurt for his future movie roles and so he can also be open to another match this year. He is not announced for Raw tonight. The aftermath of the match was apparently only known to the talent involved in it and Vince. Everyone backstage was shocked that Vince would allow someone that young to debut like that. Not much is known about Victor but it is rumored that The Undertaker handpicked him to challenge for the streak. TFOPW stable was Vince’s idea as he thinks it will make Victor look more like a threat. Also Victor was rumored to have been instructed by Vince to stay with his stable as many other talents feel like he hasn’t done anything to deserve the chance he is getting. Taker apparently will now be traveling with the crew too so they can stay in check and not try to sabotage Victor. Plus he would be mentoring him. People close to Vince have apparently said that he regretted having the show close the way it did. Cena is rumored to be taking on Victor at Backlash and if rumors are true Cena will win and also take Victor’s chance of facing Taker away.

IWC’s Thoughts

The IWC went on a huge rant and wrestlingforums.com crashed for about an hour after the event.

The IWC was split on the decision of having Victor debut the way he did. Some think he shouldn’t be on there and some feel that it’s something new but all feel that they will wait to see if WWE screws it up or makes it work.

The IWC loved the triple threat match especially since Orton didn’t win. They also loved that blood was actually shown.

The IWC also love the formation of TFOPW since everyone except Victor are IWC darlings.

Many can’t wait until RAW tonight to see what happens.

RAW Preview

Matches announced- Hunico vs. Chris Masters, JTG vs. Shad, and Alex Riley vs. A Mystery Opponent winners get a spot on the RAW roster. Trish Stratus vs. Kharma to decide the new Women's Champion and Primo & Epico vs. The Hardy Boyz to decide the new World Tag- Team champions

WWE.com also announced that Vince will open up the show to explain the ending of WM.

Chris Jericho also revealed on Twitter that he will have a Championship Celebration and that the Alliance of him and HHH is called The Foundation

Punk, Ziggler, and Ryder have not posted anything on Twitter since last night.

WWE: The Future of Pro-Wrestling

April 1st, 2012
Backstage about 30 minutes after WrestleMania went off the air

*Vince, Triple H, Stephanie, Shane, TFOPW, Undertaker, and his Vinceís two advisors are in a meeting.

Vince: I donít know if I made the right call as to the ending of WrestleMania. I am having second thoughts about having Victor debut like that.

Victor: With all due respect you made the right choice. All I need is a chance to prove it to you. As a matter of fact give me 6 months at least to show you that I am that guy.

Triple H: I think you have to give the kid a shot Vince. He might be the guy. But I know what you mean, in the WWE you have to be larger than life. And Victor you are only 16 years old you aint larger than life.

Victor: Yeah but think about im only 16 which means that is I do become that guy I will have 20 to 30 years on the top.

Stephanie: All I can say is that if you do decide to change Victor from being the Undertakerís opponent, then people are going to question ending WrestleMania like we just did.

CM Punk: Well I donít know him being that guy but I have a question for you guys. Why am I stuck in a stable with him? See I donít mind being in a stable with Ryder and Dolph. But why do I have to be in a stable with someone I donít know.

Taker: Because he is our guy. By the way I handpicked him to be our guy. Plus you need to be his mentor. As I will also be his mentor and as Zack and Dolph are going to be his mentor as well. Vince give the kid a shot, donít drop the ball with him. How we ended WrestleMania is going to be talked about for ages. Now are people going to talk about it as the day the WWE changed forever or as the day the WWE dropped the ball once again.

Shane: I donít know guys I think we risked a little to much this time but I have faith in this kid. Plus dad donít you always talk about how you have to take risks to make money?

Vince: You know all you guys have valid points. I will give Victor a shot at this. By the way Victor I want you to stay around your stable at all times.

CM Punk: Hold up his stable? No this is my stable.

Vince: You know what I mean the stable will revolve around Victor but everyone would be looked as equals as possible. Ok I am going to give Victor one month to earn his name around here. At Backlash who ever your opponent is if I donít feel like you are that guy I will have him beat you and take your spot. Now I want everyone to leave except Victor. (Everyone but Victor leaves) Victor I have faith in you but donít tell anyone that. But I wasnít kidding about losing your spot at Backlash.

Victor: By the way can I know who my opponent will be?

Vince: Yeah your opponent is going to be ???.

Victor: Wow thatís a huge star I hope I can keep up. He is actually my third favorite wrestler of all time. Its going to be an honor for me to step in the ring with one of the all time greats.

Vince: And this might make you more happy. If you manage to impress me by then he will join your stable.

Victor: Wow thatís huge news.

Vince: Ok ill need you to leave now I have a lot of stuff to take care of I will see you at Raw tomorrow night. ( Victor leaves the office) well I hope this works.

Just to update I was planning on continuing this BTB Thread before, but I lost all my work that I had finished. Good news to all my BTB Thread followers. I am starting to work on this BTB Thread again.

I don't have a timeframe for when I will post up the next show, but I know I am working very hard on this Thread once more
