Re: WWE 2011: Pushing the Boundaries

I haven't followed this as much as I should have, but I think I have a fair idea of what's going on. Here goes.

PREDICTION TEMPLATE

WWE Championship Match
Six-Pack Challenge Elimination Match

Alberto Del Rio © vs John Cena vs The Miz vs Kofi Kingston vs R-Truth vs CM Punk

Del Rio's WWE Title reign coming out of Summerslam was booked horrifically in real life, other than possibly his opening promo, so I'd like to see you rectify that here by at least making him look like a credible threat as champion. Every man has a case for winning in this match - very well laid out in the preview - but Del Rio needs this more, to avoid him becoming the failure that he became in real life.

World Heavyweight Championship Match
Six-Pack Challenge

Randy Orton © vs Sheamus vs Wade Barrett vs Mark Henry vs John Morrison vs The Great Khali

Might as well mention this here - looking through the SD roster, you're desperately short on heels. That's the least of your worries as a booker, as one well-thought-out turn will sort that right out, but it does somewhat explain why you've been forced into using The Great Khali in a 2011 thread as a World Title contender. I could see it going to any of the first four names here, just so they can then feud with their counterpart but with the title involved, but I'm going to play it safe and call Orton. Sheamus didn't need it here, he was red-hot after the 'I'll fight him' moment not long before, Henry needs to add some more people to the Hall of Pain before he can really rise to this level, and if Barrett's getting the belt, I'd rather it was in some hellish match between him and Orton. I'll go with the Viper, but ready for any of the other three mentioned. Very unpredictable, good stuff.

Smackdown! Money in the Bank Contract
Submission Match

Daniel Bryan © vs Christian

Christian's an interesting character you've got going here (the Cloverleaf last SmackDown was GOLD) but I see this as a stepping stone for Bryan rather than Christian. To make Bryan's cash-in worth it, he needs to have had a difficult journey to that point, at least to some degree, so I hope the briefcase stays on Bryan while Christian continues his 'one more match' schtick and we see where it goes.

United States Championship Match
Dolph Ziggler © vs Rey Mysterio

Like the preview hinted, this is Ziggler's full circle. He was the challenger who never bested Mysterio in 09, now he needs to have risen above and beyond him. For Ziggler's sake, he goes over, but I assume it won't be clean.

Intercontinental Championship Match
Cody Rhodes © vs Sin Cara

Sin Cara's a great performer but I don't think anyone wants him with a belt. Rhodes to keep his momentum rolling.

WWE Divas Championship Match
Kelly Kelly © vs Beth Phoenix

If Kelly wins we riot? God she sucks, bring some focus to the division with Beth please?

WWE Tag Team Championship Match
David Otunga & Michael McGillicutty © vs Santino Marella & Vladimir Kozlov

This is an interesting one. At the time, this match wouldn't have interested me... because both teams suck. The interesting dynamic comes from the champions, who in hindsight just needed a bit of faith in them from the writers and they could have gone further than they did. As I say, both teams suck, but I'd rather you give Otunga/McGillicutty a chance than throw the titles on Marella/Kozlov who can't do a thing as champions. Possibilities with the heels.

Bonus Questions!

1. Predict the match order. Off the top of my head because I never hit these: Ziggler/Rey, Tag Titles, IC Title, Bryan/Christian, Divas, WHC and close with the WWE Title match.
2. Predict the winners of each match. I have done this.
3. Which will be the longest match? Tempted by Christian/Bryan but I'll go with WWE Title because all but one of them needs to take a fall.
4. Which will be the shortest match? Phoenix/Kelly Kelly out of mercy for your readers.
5. Who will be the first man eliminated in the WWE Championship Match? R-Truth, because Kofi Kingston has to stop being the whipping boy at SOME point or another.
6. Who will be the last man eliminated in the WWE Championship Match? Cena.
7. Who will take the fall in the World Heavyweight Championship Match? Khali to get RKOed to protect the other two heels.
8. Will there be any surprise/unexpected appearances? If so, who? Yeah, I'll go with Drew Mac if he counts.
9. How many titles will change hands? (Including MITB Contract) Just the one, apparently I'm a sucker for lengthy reigns.

Show looks like being a real surprise package in the section. Here's hoping it's as good as it looks on paper. Best of luck from ThatMelveGuy, and I hope you had/are having fun writing it.

And now, WWE in association with Paper Jamz, presents WWE NIGHT OF CHAMPIONS!!

From that, we go into the Niagara Center itself, and fireworks shoot all around the stage and entrance ramp. The camera goes around the audience, who are letting themselves be heard, and we catch some signs saying things such as "Alboreto Del Rio", "Tap or Snap" and "In Punk We Trust", before Magika kicks in once more over the PA system in the arena, and for the first time we hear the voices of the PPV Team; MICHAEL COLE, JERRY "THE KING" LAWLER and everybody's favourite BOOKER T!

Michael Cole:
Ladies and Gentlemen, we're coming to you LIVE from the Niagara Center in beautiful Buffalo, New York... welcome to WWE Night of Champions! "The Voice of the WWE" here, Michael Cole, and I'm joined by my Raw broadcast partner, WWE Hall of Famer Jerry "The King" Lawler and one of my Smackdown buddies, Booker T!

Booker T:
Cole, I wouldn't go as far to say dat we're buddies, but I do agree that dis going to be a historic night and I can't wait to see what goes down!

Jerry Lawler:
That's right; this is Night of Champions. We are going to see every active championship in the WWE being defended right here tonight - I can't wait!

Michael Cole:
We certainly have an action-packed show in store for you tonight, folks. Tonight we are going to see not one, but TWO Six-Pack Challenges, where both the WWE Championship AND the World Heavyweight Championship are going to be defended by Alberto Del Rio and Randy Orton respectively with FIVE challengers.

Booker T:
I've never had the chance to be in one of dose matches, but I do know dat the champions in dose matches have a one in six chance of keeping deir titles; I don't like dose chances, dawg.

Michael Cole:
Not only that, but we're going to see the United States Championship, the Intercontinental Championship, the Tag Team Championships AND even Daniel Bryan's Money in the Bank Briefcase all on the line! I think that we need to kick things off though with some Divas action!

Jerry Lawler:
I can't wait! Let's hand over to Justin Roberts to get us all started!

We go into the ring now, and the music fades out, and we see JUSTIN ROBERTS standing in the centre of the ring with his microphone. The bell rings to indicate that we're about to get things underway, and the fans let out a large cheer.

Justin Roberts:
The following contest is the opening contest for WWE Night of Champions! And it is for the WWE DIVAS Championship!

This announcement alone sets out a very loud applause from the fans, and Roberts steps back as the attention turns to the entrance area.

*HOLLA*

There is a mixed reaction in the arena, for the Divas Champion KELLY KELLY, as she steps out onto the stage and sees that she's not at all popular in Buffalo, obviously due to her opponent. Kelly starts to make her way down to the ring with a determined look on her face whilst wearing her title over her shoulder.

Justin Roberts:
Introducing first, from Jacksonville, Florida, she is the WWE Divas Champion... KELLY KELLY!!

Michael Cole:
HAHA! Please everyone just would you look at her? Kelly Kelly has the look of an animal that knows it is about to go for slaughter; I have been saying for WEEKS now that Kelly's time as champion is running out but tonight is the night where we finally get to see a true WOMAN hold the Divas Championship.

Jerry Lawler:
Cole, usually I would disagree with you about things like this; but as much as I hate to say it, you could be right about this one; Beth Phoenix has been truly dominant in the last few weeks.

Booker T:
You should never rule out Kelly Kelly, I think dat Kelly is gonna shock ev-eryone tonight.

Michael Cole:
You think what you want to, Booker, don't let me stop you; just don't complain when Beth Phoenix rips Kelly Kelly in half tonight and takes that Divas title.

Kelly gets into the ring, and she goes to pose for the fans on the turnbuckle, but she looks out into the disapproving fans in the arena and decides against it after all. Instead she opts to stand in the centre of the ring with her championship in the air, much to the annoyance of the fans. Her music cuts out and she hops down back onto the mat; the fans buzzing with anticipation for the challenger.

*GLAMAZON*

The fans come UNGLUED with a huge pop as the home town girl, BETH PHOENIX walks out onto the stage, wearing a giant tiara to match her golden ring attire for the night. She is accompanied by fellow Diva of Doom NATALYA, and Beth does the Glamazon pose at the top of the ramp before marching down to the ring, both Divas slapping hands with the fans as they go down to the ring.

Justin Roberts:
And the challenger, accompanied by Natalya... from BUFFALO, NEW YORK! "The Glamazon" BETH PHOENIX!!!

Michael Cole:
Here she is! Please welcome the next Divas Champion!

Jerry Lawler:
This woman has shown dominance these past few weeks that I don't think is going to stop any time soon. Booker, I know that you're a Kelly Kelly fan - I am too, just look at her! - But I really think tonight is the night that Beth Phoenix is going to win the Divas Championship.

Booker T:
Seeing Beth Phoenix right dere and knowing dat she had the full support of everyone in dis arena; ma girl Kelly Kelly is going to have to pull off the upset if she wants to keep dat gold, dawg. I hope she can prove us all wrong.

Michael Cole:
Glad you two are starting to see things my way at last!

Booker T:
I wouldn't go dat far, Cole.

Beth climbs up onto the apron, and she mounts the nearest turnbuckle from the outside, and she steps onto the middle rope and creates that crown above her head to another grand pop from the Buffalo fans. She scoots her legs into the ring and jumps down onto the mat, and she walks across the ring with a broad smile on her face; giving Kelly Kelly a nod as she approaches the turnbuckle past her and motions that she wants the title. Kelly stands silently in the corner away from Beth as she stares at her opponent, looking a little nervous. Referee Justin King (aka the black pimp ref) approaches her and asks for the Divas Championship to be handed over to him, and the champion reluctantly gives over the title belt with a worried look on her face. King approaches the centre of the ring and lifts the belt into the air as the graphic displays across the screen, and Phoenix's music fades out and Beth nods her head along to the now audible "LET'S GO PHOENIX!" chant, as Natalya claps it along at ringside. King seems satisfied that everything is in order and he calls for the bell! Night of Champions has begun!

Match One:
Divas Championship Match:

Kelly Kelly © vs Beth Phoenix
w/ Natalya

The bell rings, and the “LET’S GO PHOENIX” chant still booms out around the arena, and the challenger smiles and nods her head as both Divas go in for the opening collar-and-elbow lock up. Kelly tries to push Beth back, but the power advantage comes into play as Beth forces Kelly down into the mat face-first!! The fans go wild already, as Kelly is quick to get back up; holding her nose as she does, with Phoenix looking on approvingly. Both Divas go in to lock up once again, and Kelly ducks around Beth and applies the rear waistlock. Kelly is able to hold Phoenix in for just a moment before the challenger smashes an elbow into the side of K2’s head, sending her stumbling back into the corner. Phoenix is quick to come in afterwards and she drives her shoulder into Kelly’s mid section, causing the champion to keel over Phoenix’ body. The referee comes in and tells Beth to get out of the corner, and Kelly stumbles out of the turnbuckle and right into Beth’s clutches once again. Phoenix scoops the champion up, and she holds Kelly upside down for a few seconds, before dropping her down to the mat with a powerful Scoop Slam!! The fans don’t mind the slow opening as Phoenix picks Kelly apart slowly, and the challenger goes down to make the first cover of the PPV.
...

...
Two-Kelly kicks out!!

Natalya encourages her partner from the outside, as she pounds her hand against the ring apron, and Phoenix nods her head as she takes the early kick out from the champion in her stride. Pulling her by the hair, Beth ruggedly brings Kelly back up to her feet and ignores Justin King’s demand for her to release her grip. Beth then places Kelly up over her shoulder, and tackles her into the nearest turnbuckle, much to the enjoyment of her hometown fans. Kelly screams out in pain, as Phoenix now charges back and Beth runs back in... NO ONE HOME!!! The Glamazon collides into the top turnbuckle chest first as Kelly dodges the incoming Diva, and the champion comes from behind with one of those signature roll-ups!!
...

.....

.....
Beth wriggles out of the pin attempt!!

The fans boo for the use of the roll-up that Kelly can now probably consider a finishing move, and that causes a “YOU CAN’T WRESTLE” chant, usually reserved for John Cena, to be directed towards the Divas Champion. Kelly looks hurt by the remarks, and Phoenix says to the champion “You hear that... You’re a joke!” which riles the champion up even more, and she charges at Beth and the force sends Phoenix into the corner. Kelly starts unloading with rights and lefts to the head and body of Phoenix, and the Glamazon is able to push Kelly away into the centre of the ring, but as Beth comes back out of the corner, Kelly catches her right in the face with a DROPKICK that sends Phoenix off of her feet and crashing down to the mat!! The fans don’t let up with the chants as Kelly pulls off that athletic move, and it seems these fans are getting inside the heads of the champion, as the only way she can contain her anger is to let it out on Phoenix!! Kelly goes over to the downed Glamazon and she grabs Phoenix by the ears and SLAMS her head into the mat repeatedly!! The fans boo loudly as Kelly shows some real aggression, and Natalya screams for the referee to break it up, and King has no chance but to physically pull Kelly off of Phoenix and tell her to calm down. Kelly sidesteps the referee and she places a boot into the chest of Phoenix, who was using the ropes to back herself up to a vertical base.

Sensing that she has a measure of control, Kelly calms herself down a little, and she lifts Phoenix back up to her feet against the ropes and whips her across the ring, but Beth turns it around and sends Kelly across the ring! Beth goes to the centre of the ring and waits for Kelly to come back her, but the champion was able to hold onto the ropes! Phoenix charges in, but Kelly drops the top rope and Phoenix goes tumbling over and down to the floor!!! The fans boo as the hometown girl lands with a thud on the hard floor. Kelly looks happy for the first time in the match as Lawler and Booker say that she is exceeding all expectations at this point; Cole still proclaiming that she shouldn’t even be here at this point. Kelly now heads to the top rope, and she stands up there in wait as the Glamazon finds her feet on the outside, but as soon as Beth turns around she is flattened back down by a CROSS BODY FROM THE TOP TO THE OUTSIDE from Kelly Kelly!!! The fans give a mixed reaction, as some can’t help but cheer that Kelly just flew over 10 feet to land on top of Phoenix. Kelly ignores everyone at ringside hurling abuse at her, as she picks Beth up and rolls her into the ring. Kelly follows suit and then hooks the challenger’s leg for a cover
.....

..........
Phoenix kicks out to a rapture of cheers!!!

Kelly looks a little annoyed that she was unable to put Phoenix away, but the fact that she has been able to get this much offence in must be a good sign for the champion. Kelly brings Phoenix up to her feet, and she places her leg over the top of Beth’s neck, and she raises her arm into the air to signal for the K2 LEGDROP-NO!! Phoenix takes advantage of the time wasted and she pushes Kelly’s leg away and then turns the champion inside out with a CLOTHESLINE!!! Kelly is laid out, and the fans along with Natalya (and Michael Cole) cheer for Phoenix getting back into the match. Beth runs her hand through her hair, and she gets off of her knees and back up to her feet, as Kelly is also trying to get back up too. Beth smashes her elbow into the back of the champion’s head, which knocks Kelly forwards and down onto her front. Beth stands over the downed champion and she hooks Kelly’s legs around hers, and Phoenix then takes a seat and grabs Kelly’s head at the same time, for a MODIFIED SURFBOARD!!! The fans pop as Kelly’s back is being contorted by the pressure put on her by the submission attempt, and Phoenix shouts “Just tap!”, but Kelly shakes her head profusely. Beth pulls back even farther, and Kelly’s arms flair around in all directions trying to free herself. Natalya runs around the ring to where Kelly can see, and she starts telling her to “tap like she did on Monday”, and the Buffalo crowd start off a “TAP OUT” chant. Justin King comes in and asks Kelly if she is going to give up, but the champion shakes her head rapidly whilst in Beth’s clutches, and she is adamant that she will not quit, so Beth releases the hold!! Phoenix unhooks her legs away from Kelly’s, but keeps a hold of the champions neck, as Phoenix stands up and she puts her foot right onto Kelly’s back and STOMPS her into the canvas!! The fans shout “OOH!” as that looked nasty, but Beth turns Kelly over for another pin; the fans counting along!

Thre-KELLY KICKS OUT!!

Beth grits her teeth as she is starting to become frustrated with the way the match is going; we’re only six minutes in but she expected to win a lot more easily than this. Phoenix quickly picks Kelly back up to her feet, and Irish Whips her into the corner, and follows in quickly herself. Kelly is able to grab onto the top turnbuckle and float over, but Beth sees it coming and catches Kelly down on her shoulder!! The fans pop as Kelly tries to escape, but Beth marches into the centre of the ring and hits a Front Powerslam!! Natalya cheers loudly as Beth hits her dad’s finisher, and Phoenix gives a little nod to her partner at ringside. Beth decides not to go for the cover this time, as she waits for Kelly to get up on her own accord. Beth motions with her arm for the champion to get back up to her feet, and Kelly does, and she turns around right into Phoenix... who lifts her up for a MILITARY PRESS!! The fans pop for the strength if the hometown girl, but Kelly starts wriggling around, and she manages to roll off of Beth’s back and gets another roll up!! The fans boo as King is down to get the count!

The fans pop, as Kelly gets up onto her knees looking exhausted after what she has been put through, and she holds her neck as she gets back up. Kelly sees Beth getting back up to her feet, and she runs against the ropes, charging back at her challenger... but Beth cuts her off with a HUGE CLOTHESLINE!!! Phoenix almost takes Kelly’s head off with that to the joy of the fans, and she holds her arms up in the air in her crown position to another massive pop, and she sees Kelly getting back up. Phoenix stalks the champion from behind and Kelly gets up... and gets CAUGHT by Phoenix! The fans go WILD as Kelly gets planted with the GLAM SLAM!!! The champion lays motionless, as Phoenix wears a broad grin and turns Kelly over; Natalya and the fans counting along!

THREE!!! NEW CHAMPION!!

Winner and NEW Divas Champion: Beth Phoenix (8.17)

*GLAMAZON*

The roof almost EXPLODES off of the Niagara Center, as Phoenix gets back up to her feet quickly and raises her arm in the air in triumph. Natalya grabs the Divas Championship from the timekeeper, and she slides into the ring, and has a stare at the title for a moment but her face is overcome by joy as she passes the gold over to Phoenix, and the crowd goes ballistic as Justin King comes over and raises Beth's hand in victory!

Michael Cole:
I told you! I told you all that Beth Phoenix was going to beat Kelly Kelly the next time they faced off, and what do you know? Michael Cole right as always! What a start to the show!

Jerry Lawler:
I'll give the devil his due... you called it, Michael and I have to pass on my congratulations to Beth Phoenix! New Divas Champion!

Booker T:
It was a great performance from both o' dose girls out there and you gotta admit dat Kelly Kelly put up one hell of a fight out dere.

Jerry Lawler:
Kelly definitely did herself proud tonight-

Michael Cole:
But she couldn't beat "The Glamazon"! Beth Phoenix is our new WWE Divas Champion, and I think that tonight is just the start. WWE Divas, good luck.

Kelly sits in the corner trying to hold back the tears as she sees the Divas of Doom celebrating with the Divas title, and Beth gets up onto the top rope with her gold and holds it above her head, as we fade away...

We start off with a black screen, but it is quickly illuminated with a flashing shot of the most sadistic structure in WWE history... the Hell in a Cell.

Following that, we return to the arena. The ring is empty following the opening match but the crowd is still in fever pitch following Beth Phoenix' win.

Michael Cole:
That's right, folks, the next WWE Pay-Per-View production is Hell in a Cell! Based off the most devious and terrifying match in WWE history - The Hell in a Cell!

Booker T:
I've never been in a Hell in a Cell match before, an' I'm glad about it. But I've seen the faces of guys dat have been in Hell in a Cell and win or lose, dey've never been the same, ya dig?

Jerry Lawler:
I've been at ringside calling Hell in a Cell matches before, and I gotta tell ya; it is the scariest match to be at ringside for.

Michael Cole:
Well, I'm being told that in two weeks time at Hell in a Cell we are going to see not one, but TWO Hell in a Cell matches! One for the WWE Championship and another for the World Heavyweight Championship, those matches will just show how much those championships mean to the WWE Superstars. We're set for our second title match of the night, and I hope it is as exciting as the first where BETH PHOENIX WON!!

Jerry Lawler:
Michael, we know. Congratulations to Beth Phoenix, and she sure blew the roof off this place.

Booker T:
Let's hand over to ma boi T-Chimel now though.

Back into the ring now, and we see Tony Chimel standing in the centre of the ring, ready to introduce the next match up.

Tony Chimel:
The following contest is scheduled for one fall... and it is for the Intercontinental Championship!!

*ONLY ONE CAN JUDGE*

There is a lot of heat in the arena, as the Intercontinental Champion CODY RHODES comes out onto the stage, using his hood to shield his face as he wears his title around his waist. Behind him is TED DIBIASE who looks pumped up for his friend's title match, but as Ted roars out to the fans, Cody turns around, and Ted stops in his tracks. The champion shakes his head and he points back up the ramp... Cody wants Ted to leave!! The fans are confused, and DiBiase starts to back up the ramp looking confused, but he pounds his fist into his hand and then follows Rhodes' orders and starts to make his way back up onto the stage as Cody continues on down to the ring.

Tony Chimel:
First, weighing in at 215 pounds, from Marietta, Georgia, he is the Intercontinental Champion... CODY RHODES!

Jerry Lawler:
What the hell was that about? Cody just asked his friend Ted DiBiase to leave!

Michael Cole:
Well if you remember there has been some tension in the air between Cody and Ted; it was because Sin Cara defeated Ted DiBiase in a No Disqualifications Match that he has to defend the Intercontinental Title against Sin Cara tonight! And Ted got pinned on Smackdown this past Friday!

Booker T:
Cody left him high an' dry, dawg!

Michael Cole:
Ted should have been able to handle himself in that situation; I don't blame Cody for dropping that dead weight tonight.

Rhodes enters the ring and he slowly pulls his hood back over his head to expose the see-through protective mask that he has worn since Rey Mysterio "broke his nose" at the start of the year. He unhooks the title from around his waist and holds it up into the air to some decent heat from the WWE Universe. The music cuts out and Cody glares towards the entrance ramp that his tunes were cut off. There is a loud pop though as the lights dim down to a shade of deep blue.

*ANCIENT SPIRIT*

A loud cheer in the arena greets the arrival of SIN CARA who walks out onto the stage adorned in a new red attire, and he takes off his robe and POINTS at Cody Rhodes in the ring!

Tony Chimel:
And introducing the challenger... from Mexico City, weighing 180 pounds... SIN CARA!!

The fans pop again as Sin Cara charges down the ramp and he bounces off of a trampoline leaps into the ring! He rolls through and lands only a couple of feet away from Cody and he dives the champion a stare before mounting one of the corners and pointing out to the fans.

Booker T:
Man, I still love watching dat entrance every time! Dat's why dis boy Sin Cara is in ma fave five, ya feel me?

Michael Cole:
I thought that was the end of this "Fave Five" garbage that has about ten people in it anyway!

Booker T:
You're just jealous you aint in it, Cole! Haha! But back to the match dat is about to take place; I think dat dis is goin' to be a close match but I can't bet against Sin Cara. I think Cody Rhodes needs Ted DiBiase out here.

Jerry Lawler:
I've seen Sin Cara in that ring and he is nothing short of impressive, and I have to agree with Booker, that decision to send Ted DiBiase to the back could cost Cody Rhodes in a big way tonight.

The lights go back to normal, which makes Cody smirk as he stands in the corner, not letting his eyes stray from his challenger in his first title defence. The referee comes and holds his hands out to Rhodes, and the champion drops the Intercontinental Championship into his arms whilst still not taking his eyes off of The Mexican Idol, and the ref goes to the centre of the ring and holds the title aloft into the air as the graphic appears on screen. The title is handed down to a ringside worker and the referee calls for the bell!

Match Two:
Intercontinental Championship Match:

Cody Rhodes © vs Sin Cara

The fans are still buzzing from the opening match, and the Buffalo crowd are fully behind Sin Cara, as the Mexican starts to jump up and down as he approaches the centre of the ring after the bell rings. Rhodes simply stands in the corner of the ring with a snarl directed towards everyone else in the arena, as he glares around the arena through his mask. Sin Cara motions for Cody to join him in the centre of the ring, and the champion slowly walks into the centre of the ring, and after a brief (kinda) staredown, the two men lock up with the collar-and-elbow tie up, and Rhodes uses his strength advantage to push Cara into the turnbuckle, but Patton comes in to break the men up, and Cody paces backwards into the centre of the ring, looking to intimidate Sin Cara, but the plucky Mexican charges in, and he puts his feet onto Rhodes’s thighs and grabs the champion’s arm and takes him over for an ARM DRAG!! The fans pop as Rhodes is surprised by the quick start from Sin Cara! Rhodes gets back up right away and he leans back into the corner as Sin Cara stands in his fighting stance, motioning for Rhodes to come at him. Rhodes charges in this time, but Sin Cara leapfrogs over the top, but Rhodes stops in his tracks, but Sin Cara lands back down and he connects with a back kick to Rhodes’ midsection which doubles the champion over, and Sin Cara now grabs onto Rhodes’ head and takes him over for a snapmare!! Rhodes lands hard onto his ass, but Sin Cara then stings him in the back with a kick right in between the shoulder blades!! Cody’s face is one of pain, and Cara wastes no time in charging across the ring and scoring with a Low Dropkick to Rhodes’ face!! Cody takes a boot to the mush and is knocked back whilst Cara goes for the first cover of the match!

Two! Cody shoots the shoulder up!!

An impressive start from the challenger in his first title shot in the WWE, and Sin Cara wastes no time in getting back to his feet after the pin, and Cody starts to get back up too, but with that familiar look of disdain and anger in his eyes. Shaking his back out, Cody gets back up, but Sin Cara is already charging in and he ducks Cody’s instinctive right hand and then bounces off of the ropes behind Rhodes and comes back to catch the champion in a headscissors! Rhodes is sent rolling across the ring once again to the fans’ enjoyment, but the champion springs right back up and places himself in the corner, looking frustrated with Sin Cara. Cara charges into the corner, looking for a splash... but Sin Cara falls back to the mat clutching his chest in agony!! The fans boo as Rhodes smiles, and he taps the protective mask on his face!! Replays show that Rhodes used a MASKBUTT right into Sin Cara’s chest!! The fans boo as Cody now slowly walks out of the corner, and he delivers a stomp right onto Sin Cara’s chest, and that causes the Mexican Idol to splutter around a little more on the canvas.

Cody drops down onto his knees and he grabs Sin Cara’s head with his left hand, and he starts to hammer away on the Sin Cara’s head with his right hand, and each blow causing the challenger to flail with his arms as Cody holds nothing back with his ruthless assault. Rhodes connects with a few more punches, and finishes off the flurry with another shot from the MASK!! Cara is planted down onto the mat, holding his head now, but Cody gets back up and moves Cara’s arms to his side, before he rebounds off of the ropes and drops a knee down onto Sin Cara’s face!! Cody rolls through, and the fans boo his slow and methodical onslaught. The champion grabs Sin Cara by the head once again, and he places him underneath the bottom rope, with his body coming out into the ring. The fans start to boo once again, and Lawler on commentary says that what Cody is about to do hurts a lot... Rhodes grabs Cara’s legs and lifts them into the air. He gives an emotionless look out to the fans and then snaps down to the floor, sending Sin Cara’s neck into the bottom rope!!! Everyone in the arena winces at that move, and Rhodes gets back up to his feet looking very happy indeed with his work, as Sin Cara has his hands clasped around his neck. The champion doesn’t bother with the cover, and he pulls Sin Cara back into the ring, and starts punching him in the head again, the referee coming in and getting himself involved as Sin Cara looks in a bad way. Rhodes snarls at the official, and then goes down to hook the leg of the challenger!

Thr-NO!

Rhodes looks a little angered by this and his reply is another stomp to the chest of his opponent, and he gives the crowd a glare as they applauded the kick out. Sin Cara tries to crawl towards the ropes, and Rhodes... lets him? The champion seems to be taking delight in watching his opponent try and get himself back up to his feet, but he then crouches down slightly as if he is WAITING for Sin Cara to get back to his feet. Cara uses the ropes to get back up, but then Cody comes in and he starts to pummel Cara against the ropes from behind, and he lifts Sin Cara’s legs into the air, so Cara is hanging from the top rope, and the champion delivers a stiff kick to the mid section and lets Cara drop down to the mat in a heap!! The fans boo Cody again, but for the first time a SMILE develops on the face of Cody Rhodes! The fans boo, which causes the smile to fade away instantly, and Rhodes’ face turns sour, and he darts over to Sin Cara and starts to unload with a flurry of stomps all over his challenger!! This only causes the heat to escalate, and it seems the louder the boos get, the more vicious Cody’s assault gets! The referee comes in again, but before he can do anything, Cody lifts Sin Cara up to his feet and he plants him down with a DDT!! Cody rolls Cara over for another cover!

Thr-NO! Sin Cara kicks out!!

Cody, as you would imagine, is once again not happy with the kick out from Cara, and he starts to pummel away once again at his opponent before he brings him back up to his feet. Cody grabs him from behind, and he charges forwards and sends Sin Cara crashing into the turnbuckles!! The sound of the metal colliding with Sin Cara’s body is a little cringe worthy for those in attendance, but the fans are still 100% behind the International Sensation. Cara seems almost stationary for a moment after colliding with the corner, but he then stumbles back out and he goes right into a DROPKICK from Cody Rhodes!! The force behind the move sends Sin Cara crashing into the turnbuckle again!! Cara crashes into the corner and then drops down into a seated position, allowing Cody to slowly get up and start stomping away on Cara once again, powering his boot into the chest and mid section of the challenger. Ref is in once again to get Cody away, and Rhodes starts to stare down and square up to the official! The fans boo once more, and Cody starts to point his finger at the referee, before he returns to Sin Cara in the corner, who is now back to his feet, and Cody bends down and grabs onto Sin Cara’s legs, and lifts him up and puts him in position for the ALABAMA SLAM-NO! SIN CARA ROLLS THROUGH!!

THRE-CODY GETS THE SHOULDER UP!!!

The fans thought Sin Cara had it there, and Cody springs right back up to his feet in a rage, and he sees Sin Cara still in a seated position on the mat, and Cody goes for a WILD KICK to the head, but Sin Cara goes down and lays flat on his back to avoid the move! The Mexican Idol then turns his body around on the mat and LEG SWEEPS Rhodes!! The champion lands down on his back, and Sin Cara gets back up to his feet quickly, and he runs against the ropes, but Cody springs back up to meet him when he comes back and Cody goes for a Tilt-a-Whirl Backbreaker, but Sin Cara grabs the champion’s arm and takes him down with another Arm Drag!! The move sends Cody spiralling towards the ropes, and Cara charges in, but Cody is able to ELEVATE him over the top rope!! But Sin Cara lands on the apron!! Rhodes walks into the centre of the ring; unaware that Sin Cara was able to hold on and avoid falling to the floor, and the champion turns around to presumably go and follow up, but Sin Cara springboards off of the ropes and scores with a Hurracanrana!!! Rhodes is sent tumbling back down to the mat onto his back as Sin Cara tries to shake some of the cobwebs off. The fans applaud the efforts from Cara, and he acknowledges their support by pointing to the top turnbuckle to a large cheer. Sin Cara starts to make his way over to the top, by climbing through the ropes and climbing up the turnbuckle from the side. Cara makes his way almost onto the top rope, but RHODES GETS UP and sprints over to the corner, climbing up the turnbuckle to meet Sin Cara!!! Rhodes jumps up onto the second rope and comes in with a right hand to Cara’s head, knocking him off balance slightly, and Cara only manages to stay on the turnbuckle with one hand!! But the Mexican uses the hand that was knocked away to come back and drill Cody with a right to the side of the head! The fans cheer, and Rhodes though grabs onto Cara and brings him up higher, and Sin Cara manages to get his leg over the turnbuckle so he is straddling it, and Cody places his arm over Cara’s head and then his head under Sin Cara’s arm... SUPERPLEX MAYBE? The fans buzz slightly, but Sin Cara manages to get his leg around and kick Cody in the ribs!! The champion feels that, and Sin Cara connects with another kick to the same spot!! The champion howls in pain and then falls down to the mat!!! The fans cheer loudly as now Sin Cara shakes his head out a little bit and he climbs up onto the top rope, and he crashes down on Cody with a SWANTON BOMB FLIP SENTON FROM THE TOP!!! The fans go wild, as Cara holds his back in pain after the move, but he’s able to hook Cody’s leg up!!

THRE-CODY SAVES HIS CHAMPIONSHIP!!!

The Buffalo crowd are SHOCKED, and Sin Cara holds his head in his hands as he thought that he’d won the Intercontinental Championship, even putting three fingers up to the referee to indicate he thought he’d won. The cameras catch Rhodes’ face and he has a look of fear in his eyes that it was almost over there. Sin Cara gets back to his feet, but he looks at a loss of what to do, but it seems he has a light bulb moment, and he picks Rhodes up to his feet slowly, and manages to Irish Whip the champion into the corner, where Cody grimaces at being sent into the turnbuckle. Sin Cara walks over, and he tries to get Cody up onto the top turnbuckle by bending over and lifting the champion up, but this leaves Sin Cara open to a quick flurry of clubbing blows to the back from Rhodes!! The rage is building in Cody as he knocks Cara down with the clubbing blows to the back, and the referee has to come in and get involved. He separates both men and brings Sin Cara back into the ring, whilst Cody... unbuckles the turnbuckle pad!? The fans boo, as Cody walks out of the turnbuckle, but the referee notices the uncovered turnbuckle!! The fans pop as Patton comes in and starts putting the protective padding back on the turnbuckle, but Cody... takes off his mask!! The fans are confused as the champion exposes his face, and he sees the recovering Sin Cara back to his feet... and CREAMS HIM IN THE FACE WITH THE PROTECTIVE MASK!!! Sin Cara is totally laid out as Cody’s full smile is visible before he quickly puts the mask back on as the referee finishes his repair work and turns back to see Cody standing over the downed Sin Cara. The champion grabs his opponent and lifts him back up and turns him around. The fans boo as Rhodes grabs Cara’s neck and the challenger’s limp body hangs down before Cody drops him with CROSS RHODES!!! The fans boo in full force now, and Cody wears a sadistic grin before he goes down and covers Sin Cara; hooking the leg to a cacophony of heat.

Winner and STILL Intercontinental Champion: Cody Rhodes (11:32)

*ONLY ONE CAN JUDGE*

There is a lot of heat around the arena as Cody gets up onto his knees and intensely looks around the arena as if he's looking for approval from the fans, but they give the champion no love after the mask shot that won him the match. He gets up to his feet with a gleam in his eyes as his championship is brought back into the ring and gleefully accepts the title back into his arms and has his hand raised with the championship. The referee quickly goes to check on Sin Cara, who hasn't moved since the Cross Rhodes, and a ringside doctor quickly comes in to check if Cara is conscious or not.

Jerry Lawler:
That was daylight robbery! Cody Rhodes tricked the referee and then used the opportunity to hit Sin Cara with that PROTECTIVE mask that should not be used as a weapon!

Michael Cole:
Don't take anything away from the performance of Cody Rhodes, King, you're just jealous! Booker... Booker! You've gone awfully quiet; what's wrong?

Booker T:
Oh shut da hell up, Michael! You saw it as clear as I did; Cody Rhodes cheated. Plain an' simple, dawg.

Michael Cole:
Oh this is great... I'm two for two tonight, guys, Cole is on a roll! Ted DiBiase who? Haha, I love it!

Cody exits the ring and makes his way back up the ramp, once again trying to hide his face from everyone. Sin Cara is sitting up in the ring, and he tries to explain what happened but Chad Patton isn't very fluent in Spanish. We cut away just as Rhodes turns around for one more smirk as he raises the Intercontinental Championship in the air.

We now head off backstage for the first time in the show, and we see the foot of a desk, and the camera pans up to see that the desk belongs to the Smackdown General Manager THEODORE LONG! A loud pop goes up in the arena for the Smackdown GM, and he is watching a replay of the Intercontinental Championship Match that just occurred, whilst shaking his head at the monitor. There is a knock on the door, so Teddy drops the remote he is holding.

Theodore Long:
Come in!

The camera swings around to the door where WILLIAM REGAL walks in to a very kind reception. Long gets up from his desk and the two men meet in the middle of the frame, shaking hands.

Theodore Long:
William Regal! How's it goin' playa? What can I do for ya?

William Regal:
Mr Long, I am sure that you, as well as I saw that monstrosity of an Intercontinental Championship match, and I think you'll agree that that little swine Cody Rhodes needs to be taught a lesson.

Long nods his head and strokes his chin as he seems to be in agreement with what Regal is saying.

William Regal:
Now if you cast your mind back to Smackdown this past Friday two nights ago, I was part of a tag team match which my team was victorious against a team that included young Master Rhodes.

The fans pop and Regal smirks as he knows they know what he is getting at.

William Regal:
So I couldn't think of a more fitting person to teach Master Rhodes that lesson and also relieve him of that Intercontinental Title at the same time than yours truly.

Theodore Long:
I hear ya, playa, and I gotta say; you make a very good claim for tha number one contendership... so here's what's gonna happen. On Smackdown this Friday, you'll go one on one with the Intercontinental Champion Cody Rhodes, and if ya win, you'll become tha number one contender!

The fans pop and Regal nods his head in agreement.

William Regal:
I can "dig dat, playa!"

Theodore Long:
Holla Holla!

A few laughs go around the arena at that little exchange and Regal turns and leaves the office, leaving Long beaming to himself as we head back to the arena.

Booker T:
Man dat is a huge match Teddy Long just made!

Michael Cole:
Yes ladies and gentlemen, you heard it here first. Teddy Long's reward for a successful title defence to Cody Rhodes is for him to have to face a man that he already beat a few weeks ago and his title could be at stake! How fair is that?

Booker T:
Cody should have to put the gold on the line after what he just pulled, dawg!

Michael Cole:
I just think that Long shows obvious bias as General Manager but later on tonight Christian will overcome the tyranny and take the Money in the Bank briefcase from Long's personal favourite Daniel Bryan!

Jerry Lawler:
Why don't we talk about that later tonight? Let's get back to Justin Roberts so we can get the next match started.

Back to Roberts in the ring, and he waits for the buzz of the crowd to die down before speaking.

Justin Roberts:
The following tag team contest is scheduled for one fall, and it is for the WWE Tag Team Championships!

The crowd lets out a decent sized cheer, and Jerry Lawler groans on commentary.

*DEATH BLOW*

To some decent heat around the arena, the WWE Tag Team Champions DAVID OTUNGA & MICHAEL MCGILLICUTTY walk out onto the stage with their arms outstretched by their sides to showcase the gold around their waists as they cockily walk down to the ring, ignoring the fans at ringside, and Otunga's eyes for now are focused past the ring and on Jerry Lawler at the commentary desk.

Justin Roberts:
First, at a combined weight of 456 pounds, they are the WWE Tag Team Champions of the world... DAVID OTUNGA and MICHAEL MCGILLICUTTY!!

Michael Cole:
Hey, King, so what do you think of these guys? You must be a little annoyed that David Otunga beat you this past Monday Night on Raw...

Jerry Lawler:
Yes, David Otunga did beat me on Raw; I'm one of the first to admit that these two guys are good in the ring... but my problem is that a shoe has more charisma than these two combined! They are boring! And I'm actually happy they're out here right now because it means that it isn't long until they lose the Tag Team Championships!

Booker T:
I'm wit' King on dis one, guys. Dese two are great in ring performers, but I think dat its also about havin' fun whilst we're watching all dis, and dese two just aren't any fun in dat ring.

Jerry Lawler:
Thank you, Booker!

Michael Cole:
Well I think that you two are crazy. I've been right twice so far tonight and I'm going out there and saying that these two are STILL going to be the Tag Team Champions by the end of the night.

Jerry Lawler:
I think your winning streak is going to come to an end, Michael! Haha!

The champions are now in the ring, and have gotten up onto opposite turnbuckles, and they both pose with the titles high up into the air. David Otunga makes sure to keep eye contact with Jerry Lawler whilst he is on the second rope, and the champions then jumps down and they pound the title belts together as they wait on their opponents. The champions' music dies down.

*LA VITTORIA E MIA*

There is an ERUPTION in the arena for the challengers, as out comes first SANTINO MARELLA, and he is followed by the dangerous Russian VLADIMIR KOZLOV. Marella does his power walk down to the ring which causes Kozlov's stoic expression to crack into a smile as he marches down towards the ring. Santino is also debuting a new shirt with The Cobra on it and he has his eyes focused on the prize as he gets closer to the ring.

Justin Roberts:
And the challengers, at a combined weight of 535 pounds, SANTINO MARELLA and VLADIMIR KOZLOV!!

Michael Cole:
You two really think these idiots are going to win the Tag Team Championships? I couldn't think of anything worse!

Jerry Lawler:
Michael, they are former Tag Team Champions; they know what it is like to hold those titles and I enjoyed it the last time they did... because they are fun!

Michael Cole:
But its Santino! He shouldn't be allowed to be a champion!

Jerry Lawler:
You shouldn't be allowed to be a commentator Michael, but ya don't see us complaining!

Booker T:
Haha! King I liked dat one, and I like dese two guys getting into the ring right dere. New champions baby!

The challengers enter the ring, and Santino starts marching around inside it like an idiot, which confuses the champions more than anything as they want to get the match started. Otunga complains to the referee, but it seems the official trying to calm Santino down doesn't really work. Kozlov rests his hands on his partner's shoulders as Santino does a little bit of shadow boxing, and the fans laugh at the idiot. Marella's music cuts out and the fans are in fever pitch as both teams retreat to their corners.

Match Three:
WWE Tag Team Championship Match:

David Otunga & Michael McGillicutty © vs Santino Marella & Vladimir Kozlov

The bell rings, and the two teams are still deciding who will start the match off, and the champions quickly decide that McGillicutty will start off their defence, and the challengers play a quick game of Rock, Paper, Scissors to decide who goes in and Santino wins! The fans pop for the Italian as he approaches the centre of the ring, and McGillicutty nonchalantly walks out of the corner, and he looks back to Otunga with a smug grin on his face, but it is wiped off by a right hand from Santino!! The fans go wild, as the right sends McGillicutty rocking back towards the ropes, clearly angering the son of Mr Perfect, who charges towards Santino but gets caught with that Santino HIP TOSS!! The fans cheer as Santino charges around the ring waving his hands in the air before rebounding off of the ropes and going for the SALUTING HEADBUTT-NO ONE HOME!! Santino comically belly flops onto the mat as McGillicutty was able to dodge it, and he gets up to his feet with a small chuckle, and he lifts Santino up slightly into a front facelock and drags him over to Otunga, who reaches over and slaps Mike’s back; signalling the tag. Otunga enters the ring to some loud boos from the fans, and he takes a shot at Santino’s exposed ribs, and McGillicutty then goes out onto the apron. Otunga grabs Santino by the back of the head and walks him along the ring and bounces Marella’s head off of the top turnbuckle!! Santino slumps down and Otunga uses the opportunity to stomp away on Santino in the corner, and the ribs are the main target of Otunga’s assault. The referee comes in to make some distance between both men, allowing Santino to get back up to his feet in the corner, but Otunga brushes past the official and charges in with a shoulder to Marella’s gut!! The wind is taken out of the fans as well as Santino, and a “SANTINO” chant, led by Kozlov starts to ring around the arena. Otunga grabs Marella once again and brings him over to the champions’ corner once again, and he holds his hand out and McGillicutty accepts the tag. Otunga brings Santino into the centre of the ring and he sends him hurtling towards McGillicutty who catches Santino with a DROPKICK to the face!! The fans go “OOH” for the move and Santino drops to the mat for McGillicutty to go down for a cover!

Santino kicks out to a huge cheer!!

Tag Team Wrestling 101 for the champions so far, and it is working as Santino tries to reach out for Kozlov but he can’t get there. McGillicutty restricts the movement of Marella by dragging him back towards the corner of the champions, and he lifts Santino back up to his feet and he hooks his head underneath Santino’s arm and takes him over with a Snap Suplex!! Santino holds his ribs as he appears to be in some discomfort, and Mike gets the tag to Otunga and he steps in between the ropes and delivers a boot into Santino’s ribs, which causes the Italian to shout out in pain. Otunga grabs Santino and brings him up once again, and he rocks him in the side of the head with a forearm, and Santino is sent backwards into the turnbuckle. Otunga shakes his arm out and flexes before charging into the corner and into Santino’s boot!! The fans pop LOUD as Otunga stumbles back a few steps, and Marella charges in after him, but Otunga catches him with a BELLY TO BELLY SUPLEX!!! The fans can’t help but be impressed with the power of Otunga, who elects against going for a pin, and he gets some heat as he poses once again with a casual spot of Tebowing instead of following up. Otunga gives a look at Lawler on commentary and says “You find this boring?”, before he walks over to Marella and drops an elbow across his chest!!

Otunga gives Santino a disapproving look before walking back over to McGillicutty, who is more than happy to accept the tag and get back into the match. Mike is quick to come in and start to deliver shots to the head of Santino, and he transitions it into a tight Rear Chinlock!! The fans boo as Santino starts to struggle around; his arms comically flailing as he tries to escape out of the hold, but McGillicutty pulls back even more to cause pain to Santino, and Marella tries to go down onto the mat to get out of the hold, but McGillicutty follows him down and transitions it into a Chinlock Crossface!! McGillicutty’s knee is dug into Santino’s back and he pulls back on the Italian’s head! Kozlov starts to pound the turnbuckle to try and will Santino on, but there is not much fight in Marella, and the “SANTINO” chant returns, and this visibly perks Santino up a little bit! The referee comes down to ask Santino if he is going to submit and SANTINO RAISES HIS HAND... and clenches it into a tight fist!! The fans pop as Marella places his hands onto the mat and tries to push himself up... and McGillicutty tries to stop him but HERE COMES SANTINO!! Marella manages to get back up to his knees, and by this time McGillicutty is left struggling to keep Santino at bay, and he tries to push it down but Santino breaks his hands away, and hits McGillicutty with a desperation SANTINO STUNNER!!! The fans become unglued as both men collapse to the canvas after the move, but Kozlov holds his arm out but Santino has half of the ring to cover before he can get to him!! Mike is also holding his jaw and trying to get to Otunga, who looks furious and a little concerned, and the champions look a little closer to making the tag than the challengers, and MCGILLICUTTY REACHES UP AND TAGS IN OTUNGA!! Otunga storms across the ring but it is too late as SANTINO DIVES.... AND GETS THE TAG!!! HERE COMES KOZLOV!!!

The fans go wild as the Moscow Mauler steps through the ropes and Otunga stops almost dead in his tracks and holds his arms up, wanting no part of the Russian, but Kozlov replies with a massive boot to the chest!! Otunga drops down like a sack of potatoes and Kozlov waits on McGillicutty to get back up before charging at him and taking him into the corner and pummelling away at him with headbutts!! The referee comes in and quickly tries to explain that McGillicutty is not the legal much to no use, as Kozlov lands one more final headbutt to McGillicutty’s chest!! Kozlov turns around and he sees Otunga running at him and he catches him with a HEADBUTT to the chest this time!! Kozlov roars out to the fans to a big pop after running straight through the Tag Team Champions, and he gets Otunga back up to his feet, and whips him against the ropes, but McGillicutty dives in from behind and hits a Chop Block on Kozlov, and Otunga bounces back off of the ropes and he connects with a giant Shoulder Block at the same time!! The fans boo as Kozlov is double-teamed by the champions and McGillicutty shouts for Otunga to pin the big Russian after the tag team manoeuvre

Thre-KOZLOV POWERS OUT!!

The champions are shocked as the fans are totally relieved that Kozlov was able to kick out of that one. Otunga and McGillicutty both get up to their feet... and they start to stomp away on the big Russian!!! The fans boo the 2-on-1 assault from the champions, as Santino is unable to help whilst he’s down in the corner, slowly getting back up to his feet. Charles Robinson stares at what is happening, and he’s had enough!! The bleach-blond warrior ref comes in and he pushes the champions away from the downed Kozlov, much to the anger of Dave & Mike. Robinson takes McGillicutty away from the action in the ring much despite the protests, and the referee tries to keep McGillicutty at bay in the corner. Otunga turns around to go back and try to follow up on Kozlov, but he walks right into the COBRA FROM SANTINO!!! The fans go wild as Otunga gets knocked back into the now recovered Kozlov, and the Russian plants him with the IRON CURTAIN!! The fans are going wild as Robinson turns around and Santino rolls out of the ring. McGillicutty protests on the apron; not aware of what happened as Kozlov goes for the cover!!

Winners and NEW WWE Tag Team Champions: Santino Marella & Vladimir Kozlov (7.50)

*PAIN*

The crowd goes wild as Kozlov jumps off of Otunga with his arms in the air, and Santino slides back into the ring and embraces his partner. McGillicutty stands on the apron with his hands on his head looking shocked, as Otunga makes way and rolls towards him. The referee grabs the titles from ringside and presents Santino and Kozlov with the championships; they are now two time WWE Tag Team Champions!

Jerry Lawler:
YES! Finally, I can start to get excited about the tag team division once again!

Michael Cole:
Hell has frozen over; I can't believe this. The only saving grace in this whole situation is that there are so many up and coming teams coming through the ranks on both Raw and Smackdown that one of them has to take the titles away from these two.

Booker T:
Shut up Michael and let dem celebrate; dey earned it! I love dis trumpet right dere!

The new champions are now "doing the trumpet" around the ring, whilst the former champions look on in disgust. There is no bickering between Otunga and McGillicutty, as Mike helps his partner out of the ring, but both men look dejected at the defeat. Marella and Kozlov get onto the turnbuckles and share the moment with the WWE Universe as we fade away from ringside once again...

... To MATT STRIKER backstage in the interview area, smiling away as usual, but a big pop rings out for his guest who is standing to his left, none other than REY MYSTERIO!! Rey smiles and pounds his chest for the great ovation from the fans.

Matt Striker:
Rey, thank you for joining me just ahead of your match for the United States Championship where you challenge current champion Dolph Ziggler. How do you feel about Dolph's manager Vickie Guerrero being banned from ringside tonight?

Rey Mysterio:
Matt, I've had a lot of history with Dolph Ziggler; I faced him and beat him two years ago at this very event. But I've had a lot more history with Vickie Guerrero.

The fans boo as Rey looks down for a second.

Rey Mysterio:
I used to be treated like one of the Guerrero familia, but because of Vickie I was cast out. Despite all of this the Guerrero familia will always hold a place in my heart.

Rey does a quick prayer and points to the sky briefly, a very small "EDDIE" chant rings around the arena and this causes Rey to smile.

Rey Mysterio:
Tonight I'm going to face Dolph Ziggler one on one, and we will find out who the better man is. I know he's only where he is because of Vickie and tonight I want him to prove to me that he deserves to be where he is by fighting his own battle for once.

Rey cracks a small smile again.

Rey Mysterio:
He's good, but he isn't as good as me. So I'm going to take his United States Championship tonight and I'm going to dedicate it to my familia, as well as my other familia, the WWE Universe.

The fans give Rey a cheap pop, and Mysterio pats Striker on the shoulder as if he was about to leave, but Matt clears his throat.

Matt Striker:
Rey, sorry, just quickly; what happens if you fail to beat Dolph Ziggler tonight? We heard that John Laurinaitis said you'd have let him down if you don't bring home the United States Championship tonight, what do you think the consequences could be?

Rey seems to give a little thought to that question, but he cracks another grin.

Rey Mysterio:
I don't need to worry about that.

The fans cheer again, and Rey walks off, leaving Striker with a satisfied smile on his face.

Instead of the arena, we stay backstage, and are now in a corridor, and the fans let out an even larger pop than before because we can see CM PUNK walking down said corridor. He has headphones in his ears and is already dressed for his match but seems to have the time to text at the moment. He suddenly looks up and stops with a very angry expression on his face. The camera pans around and we can see that the Raw General Manager JOHN LAURINAITIS as well as his Security Team THE MIZ & R-TRUTH are standing in front of him. Punk slowly removes his headphones and glares at the three men that have been causing him trouble the past few weeks.

CM Punk:
For your own good... let this be the only time that you three get in my way tonight.

The fans pop and Punk puts his headphones back on and barges in between the Laurinaitis Administration and leaves the three men looking slightly concerned, but they all suddenly start to smile as we fade away once again, and back to the commentators in the arena sitting at the desk.

Michael Cole:
Well that was an interesting altercation just there; CM Punk has had his issues with the Raw General Manager John Laurinaitis even since Laurinaitis took charge on Raw. He's also got involved with The Awesome Truth, and has been having a war with The Miz that Miz has been getting the better of.

Jerry Lawler:
Well I think CM Punk is going to win the WWE Championship tonight, and outlast the other five men in that match.

Booker mumbles something out on commentary to show his agreement as the camera's attention turns back to Justin Roberts in the ring...

Justin Roberts:
The following contest is set for one fall... and it is for the UNITED STATES CHAMPIONSHIP!

"I AM PERFECTION"
*PERFECTION*

There is a lot of heat in the arena for the United States Champion DOLPH ZIGGLER as he walks out onto the stage with his arms out by his sides and his championship around his waist. Noticeably he is without Vickie Guerrero who is banned from ringside for this bout. Ziggler wears a more focused expression as usual as he paces down the ramp.

Justin Roberts:
First, from Hollywood, California... weighing 213 pounds, he is the United States Champion... DOLPH ZIGGLER!!

Jerry Lawler:
Tonight is the night where this man Dolph Ziggler has to prove that he deserves to be the United States Champion. He's going to have to get the job done without that witch Vickie Guerrero.

Booker T:
Ziggler is flyin' solo tonight and I hope he's brought his A-game!

Michael Cole:
I'm going to call it right now and I'm saying that Dolph Ziggler is going to overcome the odds and beat Rey Mysterio tonight. I've never seen Dolph this focused before and tonight is his chance to prove that he is the future of the WWE. He doesn't need Vickie Guerrero! But I do miss her graceful beauty here at ringside.

Booker T:
You've got some problems, dawg!

Ziggler pays little attention to the fans as he climbs up the steps and into the ring. He walks over to the ropes and points to his title around his waist and he shouts out "Pure Perfection baby!" at the fans as he then stares around the arena. His music abruptly cuts off, and Dolph removes his jacket and throws it down at ringside. The US Champion's music cuts off and Ziggler paces back to face the entrance ramp as the lights dim out and the camera pans around the arena...

"BOOYAKA BOOYAKA"
*BOOYAKA 619*

The fans go CRAZY as the camera cuts to the entrance ramp, and REY MYSTERIO bursts out of the stage - old school style! The fans pop at the old entrance being brought out, and Mysterio is all smiles in an orange attire, and he paces over to one side of the stage and pryo bursts out of the side of the stage! Mysterio jogs across the stage and sets off the pyrotechnics on that side. Mysterio holds his arm up into the air as a salute to Eddie Guerrero and he starts to make his way down to the ring.

Justin Roberts:
And introducing the challenger... from San Diego, California, weighing 175 pounds... REY MYSTERIO!!

Booker T:
Here he is, the next United States Champion. We heard from Rey an' we saw jus' how game he is tonight an' I don't think he'll be denied, you dig?

Michael Cole:
Well Rey seems as confident as we've ever seen him but I don't think confidence is going to be enough tonight; not against Dolph Ziggler.

Jerry Lawler:
Well in the past, the only way that Dolph Ziggler has ever managed to beat Rey Mysterio or even get one over on him has been illegally or with outside interference. There is no Vickie Guerrero tonight so I fully expect Rey to take advantage and win the United States Championship.

Mysterio hands his overmask to a young boy in the front row wearing a Mysterio mask as he touches his head with the other children in the masks. Ziggler in the ring seems annoyed with the time that Rey is taking, and he asks the referee to tell Mysterio to hurry up, but the ref shakes his head. Mysterio slaps hands with more fans and makes his way to the steps and jobs up them. He gets into the ring and makes his way over to the nearest turnbuckle and he raises his arms in the air. Ziggler complains as Rey repeats this process for all of the other corners. Ziggler catches Mysterio's arm to try and tell him to hurry up, and the referees are forced to break it up before anything starts. With the arena returning to normal, the fans start chanting "MYSTERIO" around the arena. The graphic appears on screen for the United States Championship and each man goes to a corner for their final match preparations.

Match Four:
United States Championship Match:

Dolph Ziggler © vs Rey Mysterio

The bell rings, and both men walk into the centre of the ring, and both men are still oozing with confidence. Ziggler brashly starts to talk more trash, and Mysterio just nods his head along with the “MYSTERIO” chant booming around the arena. The two men lock up for the first time and Ziggler is able to use his size advantage to snap in a side headlock, and he tries to keep Mysterio still for a moment but Rey is able to dodge out and grab Ziggler’s arm for an arm wrench, leaving Dolph on his tip toes and trying to find a way out early on. Dolph takes a page out of a luchador’s book and rolls through, causing the release, and Mysterio comes in with a side headlock on the United States Champion now. Dolph forces Rey back into the ropes and back across the ring, and Mysterio rebounds off of the opposite side and grabs onto Ziggler’s outstretched arm and brings the champion down with an Arm Drag!! Ziggler gets back up almost straight away, but he falls into the corner. Mysterio runs in quickly, but he is caught in the side of the head with an elbow from the champion; which knocks him a few paces back. Dolph lets out a scream in the corner and charges into the ring to take Mysterio down with a clothesline!! The sudden blow almost turns Rey inside out, killing the buzz of the fans and the champion is quick to jump on top for the first cover of the match!

Tw-Mysterio kicks out!!

Ziggler is not disheartened by the early kick out from the challenger, as the champion quickly gets back up to his feet and waits for his opponent to get back up to a vertical base. Mysterio is able to get up to a knee, but Ziggler is quickly in to get a boot to the side of Rey’s head to send Mysterio rolling towards the corner. Rey adjusts his mask as he uses the turnbuckle to get back up to his feet, but before he has the chance to do anything, the champion runs in and connects with a STINGER SPLASH!! The fans boo as Ziggler grabs Mysterio’s head and smugly looks out to the rafters, and tries to make out he can’t see the fans. Ziggler snapmares Mysterio towards the centre of the ring, leaving Mysterio in a seated position, and Ziggler runs in from behind and snaps Mysterio’s head forwards; causing the back of Rey’s head to then smash into the ring mat!! The fans cry “OOH” as the champion leaps on top of Rey for another cover.

Two-Rey kicks out again!!

Rey holds the back of his head and rolls onto his front after Ziggler gets off of him after failing once again to wrap this one up quickly. Ziggler stands over Mysterio, but he leaps into the air and drops an elbow over the back of Mysterio’s head, which causes a few gasps from the WWE Universe in the arena at the bluntness of Ziggler’s offence so far. Dolph sits up next to his challenger and smiles at his domination of the opening moments of this match. The champion gets back up to his feet and he brings Mysterio up with him. Ziggler hooks his head under Rey’s arm, and he lifts Mysterio up for a suplex-NO! Mysterio hooks his leg in between Ziggler’s to stop the move! Mysterio quickly battles away with elbows to the side of Dolph’s head, which causes the champion to lose grip and release Mysterio. Rey quickly takes advantage with a stinging kick to the side of the champion’s leg! The fans pop as they hear the slap around the arena, and Dolph fires back with a right hand to the head, but Mysterio is back with another kick, and another, followed by another!! Dolph grabs his leg in pain as he collapses into the corner, and Rey charges in once again, but Dolph counters once more by lifting Rey over his head and hobbling forwards, but Mysterio lands on the top rope!! Dolph turns back around and Rey springs off of the top rope and he reaches over Ziggler to rolls him up for a Sunset Flip!!

Thr-Ziggler slides the shoulder up!!

Ziggler rolls out of the heap looking shocked, and Mysterio quickly rolls backwards into the ring to reveal that the challenger wears a broad smile as he knows he almost shocked Ziggler right there. Dolph runs towards the challenger, but Rey is quick to counter with an arm drag... and Ziggler goes tumbling over, and out of the ring by the announce tables!! The fans pop because obviously Dolph sold that like a beast, and Mysterio quickly adjusts his mask and shakes his neck out before approaching the ropes nearest to where Ziggler is situated. The fans cheer on as Rey waits on the champion to get back up to his feet, as he is only up to his knees at this point. Ziggler makes it back to his feet and he turns around... Mysterio slingshots himself to the outside, and he lands with a Headscissors on Ziggler, and goes for a Hurracanrana, but Dolph holds on!! The fans buzz as Ziggler has Mysterio hanging upside down over his neck, but the champion pulls Mysterio up onto his shoulders... and POWERBOMBS HIM ONTO THE RING APRON!! The place is in uproar; the hardcore fans with the “HOLY SH*T” chant, as Ziggler uses all of his energy to pull that move off. The champion falls down to the floor; exhausted from the amount of energy he just exerted... but Rey Mysterio squirms at ringside as his back contorts into all sort of positions after that absolutely SICK move from the United States Champion. Cole, Booker and King on commentary cannot believe what they just saw, and Booker says that he doesn’t even want to watch a replay as he shuddered when he saw that.

Still probably in awe of what he just did, Ziggler slowly brings himself up to his feet at ringside, and he looks around the arena; all the bravado in the world couldn’t save the taken in state of the champion right now, as he picks up the still-yelping Mysterio and rolls him into the ring. Ziggler takes some time himself getting himself back into the ring, but when he does slide in after his challenger, his first instinct bring him to roll Mysterio over and hook the leg for the cover

MYSTERIO KICKS OUT SOMEHOW!!!

For the first time, Ziggler is in disbelief that Mysterio kicked out of one of his covers, and Rey is still squirming in pain at that move that has been replayed around 7 times now, and Rey shows very little sign of getting back to his feet in any hurry. Ziggler gets back up to his feet, his patience being the only thing that has been properly tested in the opening five or so minutes of the match. Ziggler slowly brings Mysterio up to his feet, happy to be as slow and methodical in his assault as he wants. Dolph hooks his head under Mysterio’s arm again, and takes him up into the air... and he HOLDS Mysterio in the air for a few seconds; Mysterio’s back bending backwards due to gravity, and drops him with a Vertical Suplex! The fans boo, and those jeers intensify as Ziggler gets back up to his feet and points at Mysterio and shouts I don’t even need Vickie! Rey holds his back as it arches as he lays in the centre of the ring, but instead of another cover, the cocky champion picks Rey up and he picks him up in an Atomic Drop position, and Dolph carries Rey over to the corner, and he Atomic Drops Mysterio onto the middle turnbuckle, and pushes Rey forward so Mysterio is caught up in the turnbuckle! Dolph takes a few steps back across the ring and charges in... and smashes Mysterio with a dropkick to the exposed back!!! Rey cries in pain again, and he falls down onto the mat, as the fans drum up their support once again in the form of a “LET’S GO REY” chant.

Ziggler looks out disapprovingly at the Buffalo fans who are all Pro-Mysterio, and he smiles once again at the pain of the mat he plans to rid the WWE of tonight. Ziggler walks up to Mysterio once again on the mat in agony, and he delivers a quick stomp to the chest that brings some life into Rey more than anything, as Ziggler grabs Mysterio by the head and brings him up once again; before shoving Rey into the corner back first, which causes more groans on the part of the crowd as Rey cries out in pain once again. Ziggler now grabs Mysterio by the head and turns him around and into a Neckbreaker position, but he is able to walk himself and his challenger into the centre of the ring, and Ziggler does some hip thrusts as before he hits the move-but Mysterio springs into life!! Rey turns around and kicks Dolph in the side of the leg once again, but back gives way and Mysterio keels over in the centre of the ring, holding his back. Ziggler quickly shakes off the shot to the leg, and runs across the ring, rebounding off of the ropes and connecting with the LEG DROP BULLDOG!!! The fans are deflated as Rey’s mini-revival is cut off prematurely. Ziggler wears a look of relief as he rolls Rey over for another pin attempt to retain the title.

THR-REY BARELY KICKS OUT!!

Dolph this time smashes the canvas in frustration, and he is flabbergasted that Mysterio was able to kick out of one of his signature moves. Mysterio rolls towards the ring ropes so he is able to get back to his feet easier, as the determination displayed by Rey’s body language tells the story that he needs the United States Championship. Ziggler smiles at his struggling opponent, as it seems that the champion is stalking his prey, and Dolph crouches down behind the emerging Mysterio. Rey gets up to his feet and Dolph leaps into the air... ZIG ZAG-NO!!! Rey holds onto the ropes and Ziggler goes crashing down to the mat below!! The fans go WILD and Mysterio turns around, and creams the champion in the face with a boot; knocking Ziggler down to the mat! Rey uses this opportunity to shake his back out, and he jobs around the ring quickly to loosen the area up, and the fans pop as it seems that Mysterio has near enough recovered from that hellacious Powerbomb. Not 100%, Rey approaches the champion, who is now in the corner, having used the turnbuckle to get back up. Mysterio comes in and connects with a right hand to the champion, before he mounts the turnbuckle and starts connecting with right hands to the champion’s head! One! Two! Three! Four! Five! Six! Seven! Eight! Nine-Ziggler catches Mysterio’s hand!! The fans boo, as Ziggler goes to throw Rey off of him, but Rey grabs onto Dolph’s neck and he takes Ziggler with him... TORNADO DDT!!!! The fans are going wild as Ziggler is SPIKED on his head, and Mysterio winces after the impact on his back, but he is able to quickly go and get the cover on Ziggler!

Two-Ziggler kicks out!!!

Rey is shocked, as Ziggler is still lying flat out on his back; using pure instinct to kick out of that pin. Rey slowly gets back up to his feet, and he grimaces from the effort it places on his back. The fans cheer Rey on as he then looks at Ziggler sprawled along the canvas and he walks over to the turnbuckle, and goes through the ropes to climb up onto the top rope! Cole is shocked that Rey is even trying this after all of the abuse he has taken, but the time it took the Ultimate Underdog to get to the top proved costly as in that time, Ziggler had started to move, and the champion quickly charges to meet Mysterio on the turnbuckle!! Ziggler comes in with a jumping right hand that knocks Rey back, so he falls to a seated position on the top turnbuckle. Ziggler now climbs up onto the second rope and he hooks his head under Rey’s arm whilst using his other hand to get in a few shots to the ribs. Dolph climbs up to the top rope now, and the fans are in fever-pitch at the prospect of a SUPERPLEX... But Mysterio is fighting out of it!! Rey smashes Ziggler in the mid section with a punch, and then a HEADBUTT, which knocks Ziggler down into the ring below!! The fans pop as Mysterio is left perched on the top rope, and the champion is laid out in the centre of the ring after taking a bump to the back of the head as he landed. Rey slowly brings himself up to his feet, and he steadies himself... FROG SPLASH FROM MYSTERIO!!! The fans rip out with an “EDDIE” chant for the tribute from Rey, but the impact from the move sends Rey squirming around the ring again; the move taking just as much out of him as it did to the champion. With neither man showing an inkling of getting back up any time soon after the Frog Splash, referee Jack Doan has no choice but to start the 10 Count.

The two men walk into the centre of the ring; much like the start of the match, but both men are much more worn out than they were then. Ziggler cocks his right arm back and lands a punch to the face of Mysterio! Rey then replies with a right of his own to a cheer from the crowd! Ziggler strikes back! Mysterio again! BOO! YAY! BOO! YAY! YAY! YAY! Mysterio reels off a few rights in a row before connecting with another kick to the back of Ziggler’s leg, and Mysterio runs across the ring to rebound off of the ropes-CRACK!! Mysterio runs right into a SUPERKICK from the United States Champion!!! Dolph’s leg that Mysterio has been working on the whole match just gives way, but the champion wears a massive smile on his face as he sees Mysterio collapse like a sack of spuds, and the champion gets back up to his feet, with a slight limp, and he is waiting on the rising Mysterio once again. Mysterio uses the ropes to get back up to his feet again, and the champion comes in behind once again; the fans trying to warn Rey of what is coming behind him... ZIG ZAG!!! The fans boo as Rey fails to counter it this time, and the champion cockily wipes his hands before going into the cover, instead holding his own hurt leg than hooking Mysterio’s.

FOOT ON THE ROPE!!!!

The WWE Universe ROARS at that move; Ziggler doesn’t realise, but thankfully Doan does as Mysterio is able to get his foot on the bottom rope just in the nick of time. Dolph shouts at the referee as to why he stopped counting, and he only then turns around to see Mysterio’s left foot draped over the bottom rope, as the courageous challenger is panting on the mat after taking the champion’s finisher. Ziggler is barely able to get back up to his feet, and has to hop on one leg as he urges for Mysterio to get back up, and the challenger does indeed get back to his feet, slowly, but surely, and Ziggler grabs him from behind and pulls him into the centre of the ring... and tries to apply the SLEEPER HOLD!-NO!!! Mysterio somehow rolls Ziggler through and sends him over his shoulder, crashing down to the mat. Mysterio stands exhausted in the centre of the ring and the champion gets up to his feet again and slowly charges at Mysterio on his hurt leg, but the slow speed allows Rey to jump in the air and catch Ziggler with a Headscissors... sending Ziggler across the ring and landing across the middle rope!!! The fans go wild, as the exhausted Mysterio holds his arm up into the air and looks up to the heavens, before running against the opposite ropes, and hitting the 619!!! 619 CONNECTING!!! The fans and commentators alike are going wild! Dolph goes flying backwards, and the official Doan seems to have gotten too close to the action... as he is elbowed in the head by the flying Ziggler!!!! REFEREE DOWN!!!

Ziggler and Doan fall into a heap together, as Rey looks on in anguish, and he holds his back in agony as the 619 almost killed him. Mysterio climbs back into the ring, and he goes to check on the state of the official, who took a nasty-looking bump to the head. Rey shakes the unconscious referee, but there is a distinct buzz in the arena, which slowly turns into a LOT of HEAT!!! Rey is urged to turn around by the fans, and he does... right into a FUTURE SHOCK DDT!!!! DREW MCINTYRE?!?!?!!! The fans give ungodly amounts of heat as the Scotsman smiles over the planted Mysterio, and the camera catches Ziggler with a worn out smile; they were in on it together the entire time!!! McIntyre nods at Dolph and leaves the ring and starts walking back up the ramp; knowing that his work is down for the night. Dolph slowly crawls towards the spread-eagle Mysterio, and the champion makes sure to shout for the referee as Doan slowly starts to come to. Ziggler drapes his arm across the chest of Mysterio, with Booker T absolutely furious on commentary, as Doan acknowledges the pin attempt, and starts the painfully slow cover

Winner and STILL United States Champion: Dolph Ziggler (13.37)

*PERFECTION*

There's mega heat around the arena as Ziggler gets up onto his knees with a look of pure elation on his face. McIntyre starts walking back towards the ring and he slides in to meet Ziggler, and the champion points at the man that just saved him his championship and the two men embrace in a hug before Ziggler turns around to see the referee holding his championship which Ziggler quickly grabs and holds high in the air.

Jerry Lawler:
This is a travesty! Rey Mysterio just got screwed by Dolph Ziggler and Drew McIntyre! And I bet I know who was behind it all!

Booker T:
I can't believe dis! Rey Mysterio should be the United States Champion! I want justice, dawg!

Michael Cole:
Booker, you're a Smackdown exclusive announcer so there's frankly nothing you can do about this! told you that Dolph Ziggler was going to win!

Jerry Lawler:
Were you in on this Cole?

Michael Cole:
No, but I wish I had the brains of the person, the woman that thought of this genius master plan... W-Wait! There she is now!

And as if on cue, the fans start booing the loudest we've heard all night as VICKIE GUERRERO is walking down the ramp beaming and clapping the scene in front of her. Ziggler and McIntyre see her coming and the smiles in the ring get even broader, as Guerrero approaches the ring, and Drew goes over to help her get into the ring by opening the ropes open. Guerrero leaps onto Ziggler and hugs him tightly, Dolph seems happy at first but his face turns a little sour as Guerrero holds onto the hug for a little too long... but she lets him go to the champion's relief, and she now starts taunting the defeated Mysterio, who props himself up in the corner. Rey looks deflated as Guerrero now stands in between Ziggler and McIntyre and the trio stand tall in the centre of the ring with their arms raised.

Jerry Lawler:
Well it seems like Drew McIntyre has gotten his wish and he's now gained the managerial services of Vickie Guerrero.

Booker T:
I think he has to be careful that he's not gon' get used.

Michael Cole:
Well I think we could be looking at the future of the WWE; these three are going to take over Raw, and then the infection will spread across the entire world!

Jerry Lawler:
Well, lets just hope we have no more controversy tonight; I've had enough of that already!

THE 25TH ANNUAL SURVIVOR SERIES
SUNDAY NOVEMBER 20, 2011
MADISON SQUARE GARDEN

-----

Michael Cole:
That's right ladies and gentlemen; November 20th, we're set to celebrate 25 years of Survivor Series!

Jerry Lawler:
Survivor Series has been a staple of the WWE calendar for as far back as I can remember and I always get excited around this time of year knowing that Survivor Series is just around the corner!

Michael Cole:
Well we all know about your famous Survivor Series moment with Doink the Clown, King.

Jerry Lawler:
Who the what?

Booker T:
Enough clownin' around, guys... we got another match comin' up... and it is the big one on Smackdown; the World Heavyweight Championship is up for grabs!

*WRITTEN IN MY FACE*

The fans know what is coming up and they erupt into a massive cheer as The Celtic Warrior SHEAMUS marches out through the curtain. He beats his chest and holds his arms out to his sides as he walks down the ramp; in high spirits as usual.

Booker T:
Here's one of the favourites in this match; Sheamus has been on a roll-

Michael Cole:
When Mark Henry hasn't been tearing him apart you mean? There's one man that Sheamus can't beat and that man, The World's Strongest Man, is in this match too... so good luck Sheamus; you're gonna need it!

Jerry Lawler:
I've been impressed with Sheamus ever since he burst onto the scene a couple of years ago-

Michael Cole:
Even when he kicked your head in?

Silence from Lawler, and more chuckling from Booker. Sheamus gets into the ring and throws up the Celtic Cross taunt once again to a big cheer from the fans. His music quickly fades out however and The Celtic Warrior takes his place in one of the corners of the ring.

*MAIN YASH HUN*

To a decent amount of heat, THE GREAT KHALI walks out onto the ramp, looking rather pissed off. Alongside him, and randomly shouting as usual is JINDER MAHAL. Khali pauses at the top of the ramp and he surveys the arena before slowly pacing down the ramp; the microphones catching Mahal's Punjabi ranting.

Michael Cole:
We'll talk about Khali's chances in this match in a second... but why does Jinder Mahal shout all the time?

Booker T:
Well I think dat Khali might have a hearing problem... or Mahal is too short for Khali to hear him properly... but I don't know, I jus' don't know.

Michael Cole:
Well I know that many people have ruled Khali out in this match but it is hard to ignore the sheer size of this man! He's also a former World Heavyweight Champion in his own right!

Jerry Lawler:
But I think that things have changed since then... we've not seen the same Khali since he lost the World Championship.

Khali glares at Sheamus as he steps over the ropes and into the ring. Mahal tries to enter the ring but is stopped by the referee which of course makes him shout even more. Sheamus stares down the Punjabi Nightmare as the giant's music fades away.

*AINT NO MAKE BELIEVE*

A hearty pop rings around the arena, but nothing that special for JOHN MORRISON as he walks out onto the stage adorned in a lavish red fur coat, and he does his pose into the slow motion and his pretty pyro fires off behind him. He continues his slow motionness and carries on down the ramp.

Booker T:
Man I love dis entrance! John Morrison kills it every time!

Michael Cole:
Be that as it may... I'll happily go on record to say that John Morrison has no chance of winning this match whatsoever.

Jerry Lawler:
Cole-

Michael Cole:
He shouldn't even be in this match! He shouldn't even be on Smackdown! Why does he think he's so special that he got to trade brands?

Booker T:
He wanted to get opportunities and Teddy Long offered him one on Smackdown... nothin' wrong wit' dat!

Morrison is back in real time now, and he climbs up the steps and poses on the turnbuckle nearest the steps. At ringside, Jinder Mahal is getting even angrier at the sight of Morrison and Khali seems a little annoyed that Morrison has made his entrance. Morrison climbs down and walks across the ring to the corner opposite Sheamus on the left of the camera side. He hangs his coat over the ropes and once again everyone's attention turns back to the tron.

"I'VE HAD ENOUGH, I'LL MAKE THEM SEE"
*END OF DAYS*

LOUD heat meets WADE BARRETT as he storms onto the entrance ramp with a long jacket draped over his shoulders, and it drops off as he defiantly raises his arms up into the air. He snarls at the fans before marching down to the ring.

Michael Cole:
Here's the man that I would call the dark horse in this match; Wade Barrett has been having a war with the current World Heavyweight Champion Randy Orton, and has even gotten the better of him more times than not.

Booker T:
But it was Randy Orton standin' tall over Wade Barrett on Smackdown two nights ago.

Jerry Lawler:
I'm sure Wade'll have that RKO running through his head all night as he tries to get revenge on Randy Orton by taking the World Heavyweight Championship away from him.

Michael Cole:
Also, this isn't Barrett's first Six Pack Challenge; he competed in one last year at Night of Champions and he sure impressed me; he even eliminated John Cena!

Jerry Lawler:
With an assist from the Nexus, yes he did.

Barrett gets into the ring and merely scowls at the men currently in it. He shakes his head at Morrison and walks towards the ropes on the camera side and pounds his fist into his hand, roaring out to the WWE Universe. Barrett glares at the fans as his music cuts out.

*SOMEBODIES GONNA GET IT*

It is more of a mixed reaction from the fans as The World's Strongest Man, MARK HENRY, walks out onto the stage. Not even bothering to stop and look out at the fans, Henry continues his slow march down to the ring with his eyes fixated on one man, Sheamus. The Celtic Warrior stares back and the two behemoths glare into each other's eyes.

Michael Cole:
Would you just look at this man; Mark Henry, four hundred plus pounds... and he is the strongest man by far in the WWE.

Booker T:
You can see him and Sheamus starin' each other down right dere. Each time that these two have stepped into the ring together it has been total carnage, dawg.

Jerry Lawler:
I was there at Summerslam when Mark Henry ploughed Sheamus through the ring barrier!

Michael Cole:
These two have brawled all over arenas, and a few weeks ago on Smackdown, Henry put Sheamus through our announce table! I hope for our sakes that we don't get a repeat of that.

Henry climbs up onto the ring apron, and he looks around at all of the faces in the ring, but he locks eyes with Sheamus once again and Henry steps into the ring, not bothering to pose or taunt but just stay where he is. There is a buzz in the arena however as only one man is left...

"I HEAR VOICES IN MY HEAD; THEY COUNCIL ME THEY UNDERSTAND"
*VOICES*

The roof blows off of the Niagara Center as the World Heavyweight Champion RANDY ORTON walks out onto the stage!! He has his title draped over his shoulder, and his "Security" T-shirt has been modified to now say "InSecurity" and the champion motions to it and pulls a stupid face before cracking out a smile ahead of this huge title defence. Orton slaps hands with the fans as he comes down the aisle but he is still fully focused on the challengers in the ring who await him.

Booker T:
Awww man I don't even know who's gon' win dis one now!

Michael Cole:
Well going from past experiences, Randy Orton should be the favourite in this match. Last year at the night of champions event, Randy Orton won the WWE Championship from one of the other men in this match; Sheamus.

Jerry Lawler:
Well the main thing I remember about this match is that it seems that RKOs were being given out left, right and centre!

Michael Cole:
Well I think that Orton has a great chance of retaining the championship, he's going to have trouble getting past Mark Henry.

Booker T:
What about Sheamus? Or Da Great Khali!

Jerry Lawler:
I don't know.

Orton gets into the ring, and all of the challengers' demeanours change as the gold is right in front of their eyes. The champion steps into the centre of the ring and holds his title high in the air as Voices slowly dies out. Orton hands his title over to the referee, and then removes his T-shirt to a loud pop from the female fans. All goes quiet in the arena, save a small buzz, as we hand over to Tony Chimel for the introductions.

Tony Chimel:
The following is a Six Pack Challenge and it is for the WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP!!

That is greeted by a loud pop from the fans as all six men that are positioned around the ring start to do some final minute preparations.

Tony Chimel:
Introducing first, the challengers! First, from Dublin, Ireland, weighing 267 pounds... "The Celtic Warrior... SHEAMUS!

The fans pop loudly as Sheamus does the High Cross pose again with a broad smirk.

Tony Chimel:
From Punjab, India.... THE GREAT KHALI!!

Khali raises his arms into the air and roars out to the crowd, whilst Mahal incoherently shouts and gets a lot of boos for it.

Tony Chimel:
From Los Angeles, California, weighing 215 pounds... JOHN MORRISON!

Morrison strikes his signature pose to a good pop from the fans and he carries on bouncing up and down on the spot afterwards.

Tony Chimel:
From Manchester, England, weighing 247 pounds... WADE BARRETT!!

Solid heat for Barrett who only smirks at the reaction from the fans; he's above shouting at them.

Tony Chimel:
From Silsbee, Texas... weighing 412 pounds... he is "The World's Strongest Man" MARK HENRAAY!!

Henry doesn't even flinch as the camera is right in his face and the fans are split for him.

Tony Chimel:
And finally... from St Louis, Missouri... weighing 235 pounds.... he is the WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION, RANDAAY ORRRTON!!!

The fans absolutely let it loose for Orton as he leans against the turnbuckle and waves at the camera. The popular champion quickly straightens up though and looks around the ring at the five men looking to dethrone him. The graphic for the World Heavyweight Championship blares out onto the screen and the fans pop at the title being held up high in the air by the referee. Chimel exits the ring as fast as he can, and has the title passed down to him once he's out the ring. The referee checks that everyone is ready and signals for the bell!!

Match Five:
World Heavyweight Championship Match:
Six-Pack Challenge:

Randy Orton © vs Sheamus vs Wade Barrett vs Mark Henry vs John Morrison vs The Great Khali
w/Jinder Mahal

The bell rings, and all six men stare intently around the ring, with no one wanting to make a move just yet, but it is only so long that it can wait as Sheamus charges across the ring from his corner and right into Mark Henry!! The fans go wild as the Irishman runs in knee first and then starts to club the back of the World’s Strongest Man! This acts as a catalyst for Barrett coming in and knocking Orton down to the mat with a shoulder tackle!! The ruthless Englishman lays into the champion down by the ropes with right handed strikes, as Morrison and Khali are left looking around at what is unfolding; Morrison shrugs as he takes more of a laid back approach, and Khali surveys the carnage going down around him. Morrison then brings up the courage to approach the Punjabi Nightmare, and he rocks Khali with a forearm to the jaw, but gets pushed back down as Khali palms his much smaller foe away. Henry pushes Sheamus away in the corner, but the Celtic Warrior is right back in there, with a boot to the mid section of Henry, followed by knees to the head, as Sheamus really tries to take it to his great rival in the opening moments of the match. Orton and Barrett are both back up to their feet and trading vicious blows, but a Double Axe Handle to Orton’s hurt shoulder from Barrett causes the champion to fall back down to the mat for Barrett to follow up.

Morrison charges back at Khali against the ropes, but the Punjabi Giant grabs Morrison by the head and uses his momentum to send him flying over the top rope!! Morrison lands in a heap at ringside, as Mahal starts to shout at Khali to go and focus on the other men in the ring. Barrett still hammers away on the champion, as Sheamus takes a few steps back with a groggy Henry in the corner, but The Great Khali grabs Sheamus from behind and HEADBUTTS Sheamus in the skull!! The vicious blow only causes the Irishman to drop down to a knee, but as he gets back up he is sent down onto the mat by a MARK HENRY CLOTHESLINE!!! The fans boo as Sheamus rolls towards the ropes, leaving the two big men to have a massive staredown in the centre of the ring! Henry says a few words, and Khali replies, but Henry screws his face up; clearly not understanding what Khali just said. But the World’s Strongest Man motions to the other corner with his head, to where Wade Barrett is stomping away on Randy Orton’s chest! The two behemoths start to walk towards the two bitter rivals, but this is as Barrett turns out of the corner, raising his arms in defiance... only for a look of horror to take over on his face as he sees Mark Henry and The Great Khali bearing down upon him!! Barrett lowers his arms... and then jumps out of the ring!! The fans rain down the heat as Barrett’s cowardice leaves Henry with a knowing grin; but also leaves Randy Orton down in the corner at the mercy of Henry and Khali!!

Barrett watches from ringside with a smirk as Henry grabs the champion in the corner and he places Orton up against the turnbuckle and Khali holds him there. Henry takes a few paces back and charges in... and crushes Randy Orton against the turnbuckle!! The fans boo, as Henry backs away and Orton drops lifelessly down on his front. Henry beats his chest in the centre of the ring and Khali smiles. The fans suddenly pep up though, as John Morrison has climbed up onto the apron!! Henry has his back to the Shaman of Sexy, but he turns around and Morrison comes off with a SPRINGBOARD CROSSBODY- But Henry catches him!! The fans’ pre-built buzz dies down, as Henry carries Morrison, and then lifts him up into a Military Press!! Khali walks over to Henry now, and Henry passes Morrison over... into a KHALI MILITARY PRESS!! The fans buzz in anticipation, and a large “OOH” comes from the fans as Khali drops Morrison onto his chest from over 7 FEET in the air!!! JoMo flails around and the alliance between Henry and Khali both decide that the recovering Sheamus is their next target. The Celtic Warrior uses the ropes to get back to his feet, but Henry grabs him by the hair to help him up, but Sheamus has a little fight in him!! Sheamus breaks free and smacks Henry round the head with a right, and then forces him into the corner once again with more blows!! Sheamus starts reeling away on Henry, but Khali comes in from behind again!! The Punjabi Nightmare clubs Sheamus from behind and Henry grabs him... and tosses him over the top rope!! Having taken out Orton, Sheamus and Morrison, the two giants come to the conclusion that it is time for the partnership to end. Both men take their places in the centre of the ring for a gargantuan staredown, but they see that Wade Barrett has re-entered the ring!! The Englishman looks smugly out to the WWE Universe as he takes his place in between the two monsters. Khali and Henry wear looks of confusion, but then Barrett starts to motion around his waist that he is going to be the champion, which causes Henry to frown. The WSM turns Barrett around and clocks him with a HEADBUTT!! This staggers the Englishman, but Khali grabs him from behind and sends Barrett flying over the top rope and crashing to the outside!!! The fans pop after the two men have taken out Barrett, and Khali turns around back into the ring.... but he is scooped up by Mark Henry, and planted with the WORLD’S STRONGEST SLAM!!! World’s Strongest Slam on The Great Khali!! Henry hooks the leg of the big man for the first cover of the match!

Thr-SHEAMUS BREAKS THE COUNT!!!

Sheamus stops the pin attempt with a boot to the back of Henry’s head to a big cheer inside the Niagara Center, and the former WWE Champion continues his assault with clubbing blows to the back of Henry, but Henry is still able to begin to mount himself whilst under fire from Sheamus. Henry gets back up and pushes Sheamus back, and Sheamus uses the momentum to fire himself against the ropes, and he connects with a BODY CHECK TO HENRY!! The impact sends Henry flying back and through the ropes and out to the floor!! The fans pop as Henry lands right next to Barrett, at the base of the ramp, but he somehow gets back up to his feet almost right away... but Sheamus is on his tail! Sheamus climbs out of the ring... and HERE WE GO!! Henry and Sheamus start trading rights as both men move up the ramp! Like Smackdown this Friday, these two brutes are brawling to the back!! Sheamus connects with a right that causes a slapping sound to reverberate all around the arena to a pop from the fans, and Henry stumbles backwards, and Sheamus runs in with a CLOTHESLINE!! The impact sends Henry landing back-first onto the steel ramp, and Sheamus starts to roll Henry off of the ramp to the left. The commentators ponder what Sheamus is up to as he leaves Henry down by the side of the ramp, and starts to walk over to the sound technicians table. Sheamus picks up some wires that were laying around, and he throws them into the open space in front of the stage.

The Celtic Warrior then goes to follow up on Henry with a boot to the back once more, and Sheamus strains to drag Henry towards the wires that are on the floor. Henry gets up to his knees and he pushes Sheamus back once more, and Sheamus comes back just as quick with a boot... but Henry catches it!! Henry sends Sheamus hopping backwards as the World’s Strongest Man wears a smile, compared to the look of worry on Sheamus’ face! Henry pushes Sheamus all the way back towards the stage, and Sheamus tries to hit Henry with a right but he can’t reach, but Henry connects with a clubbing right to the side of Sheamus’ head, which causes the Irishman’s skull to bounce onto the side of the stage!! The fans grimace as they hear the clunk on the steel, but there is a huge buzz around the arena as Henry drops Sheamus’ leg and takes a few steps back... and charges in...

...SENDING SHEAMUS THROUGH THE SIDE OF THE STAGE!!!!

Fans look on in horror at the gaping hole in the side of the set, and a very loud “HOLY SHIT” chant emanates through the arena. The cameras are barely able to get past the swarming group of medics that are surrounding the scene, as we can catch a glimpse of Henry lying atop of Sheamus, and both men are seemingly out of this for the time being. The medics are able to rolls Henry off of the possibly seriously injured Sheamus, who could now be the latest member of Mark Henry’s Hall of Pain.

We return to the ring now, and Randy Orton currently has John Morrison in the corner, with Barrett and Khali still down at ringside, and is stomping away on one of his five challengers, but everything was at a total stand still for the carnage that just ensued. Orton methodically stomps away on Morrison’s chest, and he brings JoMo back up to his feet and holds him up in the corner, connecting with a solid right hand to the Shaman of Sexy. Orton goes to whip Morrison across the ring, but Morrison turns it around and sends the champion in instead. Morrison looks to follow up, but Orton EXPLODES out of the corner with a CLOTHESLINE!! The Viper stands tall as Morrison is quick to get back up, and he turns around into a Snap Powerslam from Orton!! The fans pop, as Orton turns around once again and sees WADE BARRETT charging in, but the champion peels off another Powerslam on Barrett this time!! Orton shakes his neck out, and he grabs Barrett off of the mat, and goes to throw him out of the ring, but stops him so he lands on the apron! Orton pulls Barrett in and drops him with the Rope-Hung DDT! The fans pop loudly as Orton is able to turn Barrett over and cover him!

The fans are disappointed with that, but Orton now slithers backwards as the fans know what he is thinking. Orton measures Barrett, but he notices The Great Khali getting back up onto the apron. Orton stands up to Khali and dodges a right club... and DROPKICKS Khali back down to the floor!! Khali lands in an awkward heap as Orton looks on, but suddenly JINDER MAHAL slides into the ring!! Referee Chad Patton tries to remove Khali’s associate, but Mahal has none of it as he shouts at Orton from behind. The champion turns around to possibly reason with Mahal, but he gives the fans a look, before DROPPING MAHAL WITH AN RKO!!! RKO TO JINDER MAHAL!! The fans go wild as Orton looks intensely at the man he just laid out, and the champion gets back up to his feet quickly, but turns into a BOOT TO THE FACE from Wade Barrett!! No one able to build any momentum as the sneaky Englishman then pins the champion!

Th-Morrison breaks the count this time!

The fans cheer loudly as Morrison starts clubbing away on Barrett now, and Orton rolls away to the side of the ring. Morrison stomps down onto the Englishman as he looks to make his mark on the match. JoMo props Barrett up a little, and then charges against the ropes, coming back with a knee to the face of Wade Barrett!! The fans pop as Wade is laid out, and Morrison now heads up to the top rope, facing with his back towards the ring as he makes his ascent up the turnbuckle. The fans are in fever pitch as they see Morrison try to balance on the top rope, with Michael Cole pointing out the Parkour background... Morrison steadies himself, before taking off, and looking for a MOONSAULT-NO! Barrett moved!! Morrison only catches canvas as his aerial attempts land him in more bother, and Barrett has a sly smile on his face, as he slowly gets back up to his feet. Morrison tries to pick himself up in the centre of the ring, but Barrett is there to grab him by the hair and deliver a measured shot to the side of the head. Barrett grabs Morrison’s head with both hands and starts to deliver big knees to Morrison’s face, and then allows Morrison to fall to the mat in a bundle. Barrett straightens him out and then drops an elbow across Morrison’s chest! The fans boo as Barrett starts to taunt them, and the Englishman turns his attention back to Morrison, and lifts him up to his feet once again. Barrett turns him around and drops him with a Neckbreaker! Barrett looks back down on Morrison, who holds his neck in pain, and Barrett starts to climb the turnbuckle!? The fans go into a small frenzy as Wade goes into unfamiliar territory and then connects with a DIVING ELBOW DROP!! Barrett hooks the leg and Patton counts!

Barrett seems extremely frustrated with the kick out, and he starts to admonish the official, who obviously was not to blame. The NXT Winner gets Morrison up again, but Morrison fights back with a forearm to the head, and he runs off against the ropes, but Barrett catches him and plants him with the WINDS OF CHANGE!! (Black Hole Slam). Morrison holds the back of his head again, as Barrett motions around his waist just one more time, before he picks Morrison off of the mat again. Barrett places JoMo onto his shoulders for a Fireman’s Carry... Barrett ROARS out to the WWE Universe, and he drops Morrison down with the WASTELANDS!!! The fans boo, and Barrett steps over the downed body of Morrison and motions that he is going to become World Heavyweight Champion, and mouths to the camera “World Heavyweight Champion”, and he turns around to pin Morrison-RKO!!!! The fans are on their feet as Orton had recovered and he capitalized on Barrett wasting time with a THUNDEROUS RKO!! The Buffalo crowd cheer Orton on as he lays across Barrett with the leg hooked!

THRE-IT’S BROKEN UP!!!

...BY MARK HENRY!!!!

The fans are totally stunned, as Mark Henry has emerged from the wreck at the side of the stage and he is back in the match! Henry stomps on Orton’s shoulder, which causes the champion some severe discomfort, and Barrett quietly rolls out of the ring on the camera side. Orton gets back up to his feet and uses his good arm to clobber Henry in the side of the head, and he runs against the ropes, but Orton runs right into a boot from the big man that knocks him back into the ropes. Morrison is back up though, and now he runs past Henry and jumps onto the ropes facing him... FLYING CHUCK KICK!! The fans pop and Henry staggers back; clearly weaker than usual after what he’s been through (steel). Morrison and Orton share a nod and they both manage to get back up to their feet and they both deliver SYNCHRO DROPKICKS to the chest of the World’s Strongest Man!! This sends Henry staggering backwards into the ropes, but the veteran uses the momentum to push himself forwards and he hits Orton and Morrison with a DOUBLE CLOTHESLINE!! The champion and JoMo fall to the mat in exhaustion, and Henry himself looks worse for wear. Khali is just managing to get back to his feet after being knocked off of the apron by Orton, and Wade Barrett is already back up to a knee at ringside after the RKO; Sheamus still being tended to inside the massive hole in the stage by the medics. Barrett uses the apron to get himself back up to a vertical base at ringside, and he reaches inside the ring, and grabs Randy Orton’s boot! Barrett pulls Orton towards the ropes, and he clocks him around the head with a right hand!! Barrett then tugs Orton’s legs and pulls him out of the ring! Orton, perched on the apron, starts clubbing away on Barrett, and these two continue their rivalry with this brawl here, and Orton hops down onto the floor. The champion goes to whip Barrett into the steel steps, but Barrett turns it around... and ORTON GOES SHOULDER FIRST INTO THE STEEL STEPS!!

The champion screams out in pain as Barrett stands over him; looking as sinister as ever. Meanwhile, Morrison has managed to get Mark Henry in the corner, but he is struck from behind by THE GREAT KHALI!! The Punjabi Nightmare clubs Morrison in the back, and then picks him up and throws him into the centre of the ring with a 7-foot Hip Toss!! Morrison holds his back in pain after that move, and Khali turns around to follow up on Henry, but Henry comes CHARGING out of the corner and knocks Khali down with a CLOTHESLINE!! The Indian giant drops to the mat as Henry beats his chest in the centre of the ring again, but the fans are in frenzy...

...BECAUSE SHEAMUS IS COMING DOWN THE RAMP!!!

Wearing a massive scowl across his face, Sheamus slightly limps down the ramp with a couple of medics trying to dissuade him from going near the ring; the Celtic Warrior is marching back into battle!! Henry looks shocked in the ring, and he perks himself up; trying to look unfazed when he is clearly in awe. Sheamus climbs up onto the apron, and Henry comes charging in, but Sheamus catches him with a SLINGSHOT SHOULDER BLOCK!!! The fans go wild in the Niagara Center as Sheamus doesn’t get up as quickly as he usually would, but his next target is John Morrison, who walks right into an Irish Curse Backbreaker!!! Morrison crumples across Sheamus’ knee, but the Celtic Warrior keeps hold of JoMo, and he places his head into a Powerbomb Position, and lifts Morrison up... and he holds him above his head!! Sheamus sees Wade Barrett standing over Randy Orton at ringside, and Sheamus, still holding Morrison, walks over to the ropes next to Barrett... HIGH CROSS!!! Yet another “HOLY SH*T” chant as Sheamus delivers the High Cross toe Morrison OVER the top rope and onto Barrett!! Sheamus beats his chest, but the pain is clear, and Cole rightly points out that he must be running on adrenaline at this point after that brutal collision with the stage. Khali starts to come out of the corner, he is unaware of Sheamus’ return to the match, and Khali slowly composes himself as Sheamus is lining him up from behind! Khali turns around towards the centre of the ring, but walks right into a BROGUE KICK!!! The fans ERUPT, as Sheamus drops to his knees, and hooks the leg-BAM!! Sheamus is caught in the side of the head by a BOOT FROM MARK HENRY!! Sheamus holds his head in agony, as Henry pushes him away with a smile, and now he goes down and covers The Great Khali; the gargantuan leg hooked!

Winner and NEW World Heavyweight Champion: Mark Henry (18.22)

*SOMEBODIES GONNA GET IT*

The fans are in a total state of shock, and the heat for the NEW champion, Mark Henry is gastronomical as he slowly gets up to his feet, and is greeted by the referee holding the World Heavyweight Championship in his hand. Sheamus is devastated as he lies next to the ropes, holding his head in agony, but everywhere else is surely aching as well. All of the other four defeated men look worse for wear, as Morrison, Barrett and the now former champion Orton are all in a heap at ringside.

Michael Cole:
OH MY! What a chaotic match! And I was right again! Mark Henry is the new World Heavyweight Champion!

Booker T:
But I don't think he'll ever be the same again after that... he put himself - and Sheamus - through the damn stage! What da hayell!! Please can we get a replay of dat!

Ask and you shall receive, Booker, and we see Henry ploughing Sheamus through the side of the stage a few times from different angles.

Jerry Lawler:
I've not seen anything like that before, and what strikes me is that Sheamus had this match won but Mark Henry came in and stole the pin on The Great Khali!

Michael Cole:
Well we've certainly had a night of controversy so far and I'm sure it is going to continue with our other matches we have left tonight!

Mark Henry is standing tall in the centre of the ring with his new title over his shoulder as he looks around the arena at the fans. Sheamus has rolled out of the ring, and he pounds the ring apron in frustration as we fade away...

To backstage, where a huge pop rings out in the arena as the COO of the WWE, TRIPLE H is marching down a corridor with purpose! He stops as he approaches a group of four tough looking Security Guards.

Triple H:
Did you bring those extra guards in I asked for? I don't want a repeat of Summerslam tonight.

Security Guard #1:
Yes, we've brought in an extra twenty men to cover all of the entrances.

The Boss looks at the guard with a face of thunder for a brief moment.

Triple H:
Twenty? You think twenty is enough? Ah forget it, I'll sort it out.

Triple H carries on down the corridor, and he stops once again. The camera adjusts to show a very annoyed DAVID OTUNGA and MICHAEL MCGILLICUTTY. The fans give a mixed reaction for the now former Tag Team Champions.

Triple H:
Hey. Dave, Mike, I need you two to do me a favour; I need more men out on the entrances. Go and make yourselves useful.

Both men look extremely offended at the request, they must forget that he is their boss.

David Otunga:
And what do we get in return? If it isn't a rematch for our Tag Team Championships then we're not interested.

Otunga scowls at The Game, but Triple H is clearly in a hurry.

Triple H:
Fine! Fine, tomorrow night on Raw, you two can have your rematch; now hold up your end of the deal... get outta here!

The former champions are a little more content now as they walk away, leaving a very stressed Triple H to get on with business. We leave the COO and head back to the arena, where Tony Chimel stands in the centre of the ring.

Tony Chimel:
Ladies and Gentlemen, the following contest is a Submission Match, and it is for the Smackdown Money in the Bank Briefcase! The only way that the match can be won is by making your opponent tap out!

“GO!”
*JUST CLOSE YOUR EYES*

A decent level of heat enters the arena, as “Captain Charisma” CHRISTIAN comes out from behind the curtain for his match. He seems focused, and it appears he is full of confidence after making Yoshi Tatsu tap out on Smackdown.

Tony Chimel:
Introducing first, from Toronto, Ontario, Canada... weighing in at 212 pounds... CHRISTIAN!

Michael Cole:
Here is a man that personifies everything that is good about the WWE. Christian has shown fighting spirit and here he is! Ready to fight it out against a man that the match type serves a great advantage to, but I still think Christian is going to win!

Jerry Lawler:
How can you say that, Michael? Daniel Bryan is a submission specialist, and this is a Submission Match!

Michael Cole:
Daniel Bryan is a nerd. He knows nothing about how to go toe to toe with a competitor like Christian. And anyway, did you not watch Smackdown? Christian won his match with that Japanese guy by using a Cloverleaf!

Booker T:
Ma boi D.Bryan is gonna bring the pain tonight!

After saluting his peeps at the top of the ramp, Captain Charisma starts to make his way down to the ring. He seems focused on the task at hand, and he doesn’t bother with any theatrics tonight, instead stretching out his arms and neck as he walks down the ramp and it turns into a brisk jog as he runs up the steps and into the ring. Christian walks up the steps and onto the apron where he mounts the turnbuckle and looks out to the fans with his hand over his eyes. He seems a little visibly annoyed when his music is promptly cut off however.

*FLIGHT OF THE VALKRIES*

There is a loud pop in the arena, as DANIEL jumps out from behind the curtain, and he holds his Money in the Bank Briefcase tightly as he runs down the ramp.

Tony Chimel:
And from Aberdeen, Washingston, weighing 210 pounds, he is the holder of the Smackdown Money in the Bank Briefcase... DANIEL BRYAN!!

Michael Cole:
The fact that Daniel Bryan is still going through with this match proves just how much of a worm he actually is, and Theodore Long! He made Christian compete on Smackdown; Christian is at a disadvantage, but Bryan doesn’t care! He’s still going through with the match! If he does win here, there is nothing he can take away from this victory.

Jerry Lawler:
If you’d actually remember correctly, Michael, Christian accepted the match on these terms. If he gets beat here there is no one else to blame but himself.

Michael Cole: I know he did! Christian accepted the match because he is a competitor, and he wasn’t going to let this stipulation stop him from winning back the World Heavyweight Championship! He’ll win this match tonight!!

Booker T:
Michael, you talk da biggest load o’ crap I ever heard in ma entire life, dawg!

Bryan climbs up to the top turnbuckle, and then salutes the Buffalo fans in attendance, before jumping down and kissing his briefcase before he hands it to the referee; Christian looking disgusted as he does so. The referee raises the briefcase in the air, and both men’s eyes stay right on it as he does. Ref then hands the briefcase through the ropes to a member of ring staff and then calls for the bell.

Match 6:
Submission Match for the Smackdown Money in the Bank Briefcase
Daniel Bryan © vs Christian

As the bell rings, the animosity between these two becomes clear, as Christian points to the briefcase in the hands of the timekeeper at ringside, and Bryan then points to himself and says “It’s mine”. This angers Captain Charisma, who then charges across the ring, looking to go at it already with Bryan! Bryan is up to it though, and the two men start exchanging rapid blows, and Christian eventually pins Bryan into the corner, and starts rocking him with right hands to the head! Bryan looks like he is starting to feel the effects of the blows, but he then turns it around and puts Christian into the corner! Bryan then starts kicking the chest of Christian!! The fans cheer each time the kicks land, as they seem to be doing some early damage to Christian! Bryan relents and Christian just falls down onto his front from the corner. The cagey opening many were expecting has not turned to fruition, as these two men have developed a hatred for each other in the past couple of weeks, and it shows!

Bryan picks Christian up, and then lights his chest up with a Knife Edge Chop!! (WOOOOOO!) Christian then falls back into the turnbuckle; Bryan comes in and tries to Irish Whip Christian across the ring, but Christian turns it around and Bryan is sent into the corner. Christian runs in...but Bryan gets the boot up! Bryan then backs up onto the second rope, and tries to jump back down on Christian with a double axe handle...CHRISTIAN COUNTERS WITH A DROPKICK!! Bryan falls to the mat, as the fans pop Christian’s move despite his heel status. Christian looks like he was going to go for a pin, but he realises that he can’t in this match! Thinking quickly, Christian then sees Daniel Bryan sitting up and holding his chest after the dropkick, and Christian drives his knee into Bryan’s back, and applies a rear chinlock! Christian is surprisingly the first one to try the submission, and Bryan reaches for the ropes, and leans forward, which allows him to grab one of Christian’s hands and then turn his arm around, and tries to put it in between the legs...BRYAN IS GOING FOR THE LEBELL LOCK!! Christian struggles, and obviously had it scouted, as he boots Bryan in the side of the head to stop him from applying the hold.

Christian smiles as he seems happy with himself that he avoided the dangerous hold, and he then grabs Bryan by the head and slumps his neck over the middle rope, before standing on Bryan’s back and pulling the top rope upwards... CHOKING BRYAN!! The fans give Christian a piece of their minds, but there is nothing anyone can do, as the referee is powerless due to the only submissions count stipulation! Christian screams for Bryan to tap out, but Bryan refuses to, as he desperately tries to get some air. Christian then lets up, and he runs across the ring, and then back towards Bryan, before vaulting himself over the top rope, and then catching Bryan on the way down and hanging him up over the middle rope! Bryan seems groggy by the continual attacks to his throat and neck, but he is soon brought to his senses by a SLAP from Christian!! Bryan then slumps down onto the mat holding his cheek, and Christian slides back into the ring. Christian sees where Bryan is, and then places his foot across Bryan’s throat again and uses the top rope for leverage again! Bryan is seen gasping for air, as Christian seems to be more focused on trying to cause damage to his rival as opposed to getting the submission just yet.

Christian gets Bryan up once again, and he then lands a right hand to the face which knocks Bryan back down to the canvas. Christian then takes it upon himself to pick Bryan up again, and then throw him through the middle ropes and out onto the floor!! Bryan lands hard, but he starts using the ring barricade to get back up to his feet, but as soon as he does... he is met by A FLYING CHRISTIAN!! Christian climbed up the turnbuckle and then jumped down onto Bryan! The back of Bryan’s head crashed into the barricade, and Christian was quick to notice it, as he then picks Bryan up again slowly, before going behind him, and dropping him down with a REVERSE DDT ONTO THE FLOOR!! The fans aren’t happy as Bryan spasms around on the floor, holding the back of his neck. Christian wasn’t too quick getting to his feet though, as he landed hard on his back too. Once Christian is up to his feet, he starts stomping away on Bryan’s chest. After this he picks Bryan up and slides him back into the ring, before following in himself straight afterwards.

Christian then sits Bryan up in the centre of the ring and slaps on another rear chinlock, pulling back on Bryan’s head, even more ferociously than before! Bryan is less able to try and wriggle out of it than before, so he tries the same tactic as before, but Christian smartens up, and then quickly applies a tight headlock onto Bryan, with his arm almost suffocating Daniel Bryan! Bryan starts to try to shake free, and a “DANIEL BRYAN” chant starts to develop inside the First Niagara Center, much to the annoyance of Christian. Captain Charisma then sees that Bryan is starting to fight back, he then bring himself and Bryan to the floor whilst still in the hold and pulls even further on Bryan’s neck, to the point that it IS choking Bryan, and the referee has to come in and break up the hold!! Christian jumps up to his feet and protests his annoyance at the official, who simply reminds him who he is talking to. Christian turns to see Bryan using the turnbuckle to get back to his feet, and Christian quickly runs in and just tackles Bryan into the corner, before throwing him down onto the mat. Christian ascends up onto the second rope, and when Bryan gets up, Christian straightens up and connects with the rolling Uppercut to the face!!

Bryan collapses down onto the mat, and Christian seems so happy with himself, and he then grabs Bryan’s leg and kicks it for all it’s worth, and Bryan screams out in pain as it now seems that Christian is working towards something. Christian then lays the leg flat and drops his elbow down across Bryan’s knee, and then tries to pull Bryan’s knee out of place, and Bryan screams out again, but manages to get the rope and Christian is forced to break the hold!! Captain Charisma breaks the hold but keeps hold of Bryan’s leg and drops his elbow down onto it again, and Bryan is helpless at the moment after the prolonged period of dominance from Christian, and some of the fans are finding this uncomfortable to watch as Bryan is seemingly being dissected and punished before their very eyes. Christian still keeps hold of Bryan’s leg and he now walks over to the corner, and Christian then exits the ring and pulls Bryan (who is still in the ring) towards the corner so Bryan’s leg is by hanging out of the ring. Booker catches on what Christian is about to do and Cole starts celebrating and CHRISTIAN SLAMS BRYAN’S LEG AGAINST THE STEEL RING POST!!! Bryan screams in agony as Christian looks set and pulls the leg back and DOES IT AGAIN!!! Bryan writhes around in pain as Christian finally releases Bryan’s leg. Captain Charisma however quickly walks over to the timekeeper’s area and grabs a STEEL CHAIR!! The fans start booing, but Christian doesn’t care and CREAMS BRYAN’S LEG WITH THE CHAIR IN BETWEEN THE RING POST!! The referee is once again powerless as there technically are no disqualifications, and Bryan is wincing from the pain and it seems that he is unable to move his leg under his own power due to this horrendous assault by Christian.

Bryan manages to crawl backwards into the centre of the ring away from Christian. Christian though follows him in, and thankfully drops the chair onto the outside before he does though. Christian slowly advances towards Daniel Bryan however and mouths “If you didn’t eliminate me none of this would be happening” before he then rushes at Daniel Bryan, who tries to kick away with his other leg, but Christian then manages to get a stomp onto Bryan’s bad knee before he grabs the injured limb and drags Bryan right into the middle of the ring and then grabs both of his legs and applies a CLOVERLEAF!! The fans are getting behind Bryan as he wretches and screams in pain, and he is near enough in the centre of the ring, and he even has one of his arms trapped underneath him! Christian screams out and demands him to tap out, but Bryan uses his free hand and strains as he tries to reach the ropes but they are just simply too far away. Christian keeps the pressure applied, as Bryan starts to slightly shuffle forwards using his spare hand towards the ropes, and he manages to free his other hand!! Bryan starts clawing his way towards the bottom rope!!!

....

Bryan is just mere inches away!!

....

....

HE CLAWS A LITTLE MORE!!

....

....

!!!!!!!AND GETS THE BOTTOM ROPE!!!!!!!

The fans start to go wild, and Bryan looks relieved as Christian makes use of the 5 count applicable and then reluctantly lets the hold go! Christian then gets up and starts to moan at the referee again, and he sees that Bryan is getting up to his knees in the corner, so Christian then walks over to the opposite corner and then crouches down... and starts motioning for Bryan to get up! Some of the fans in the front row try to warn Bryan to get out of the way, as CHRISTIAN CHARGES FOR THE SPEAR!!! BRYAN MOVED!!! Christian manages to stop himself from going into the turnbuckle, and sees that Bryan is still recovering and getting to his feet. Christian jumps onto the second rope, and he jumps back going for a Sunset Flip onto Bryan... but Bryan rolls through and back onto his feet... BAM!!! Bryan almost decapitates Christian with a kick to the side of the head!! Bryan’s other leg then gives way and Mr Money in the Bank drops to the mat down next to Christian, and the fans pop the guts of Bryan, as both men now start to stir and get back to their feet.

Bryan is up first by using the ropes, but Christian is not too far afterwards, and Christian goes for a right hand but Bryan blocks it... and give him one of his own! Bryan then hammers Christian until he is in the corner, and Bryan then starts unloading with stiff kicks to Christian’s chest!! After about 4 or 5 Bryan has to stop due to the pain in his left knee, and he leans back against the ropes to recover. But Bryan then grabs Christian and throws him into the centre of the ring... before climbing up the turnbuckle?! The effort and struggle Bryan is putting in is clearly visible but he feels that he needs to do this. Christian gets to his feet and Bryan then comes off of the top rope and hits a MISSILE DROPKICK!!! The toll it took on Bryan himself is visible but he then crawls over to Christian and tries for the Lebell Lock again!!! Bryan has the crossface in but he can’t hook Christian’s leg in!! Christian manages to fight out of it, and both men quickly get up to their feet again, and Christian then straight SLAPS Bryan in the face!! Bryan holds his cheek and then looks back at Christian and smacks him in the face with a right hand!! The shot rocks Christian, and Bryan then somehow finds the energy to run in and drop Christian down with a jumping clothesline!! Bryan quickly holds his leg before getting back up and Christian is up too. Captain Charisma swings for a right hand, but Bryan ducks it...GERMAN SUPLEX!!!! The fans go wild as Bryan gets up to his feet and roars to the fans, and Christian is up on his knees and Bryan starts KICKING HIM IN THE CHEST!! The crowd goes wild and Bryan finishes off the frenzy with a KICK TO THE SIDE OF THE HEAD!!!! Christian falls to the floor in a heap, as Bryan is pumped up to the max!

Bryan seems to be fighting through the pain in his knee and is able to amount his short flurry of offence, and he then grabs the groggy Christian up off of the ground and he picks him up by the neck, and he screams “YOU’RE NOT TAKING THIS AWAY FROM ME!” and he then THROWS CHRISTIAN INTO THE STEEL RING POST SHOULDER FIRST!!! Christian then turns around and stays slumped into the corner, and Bryan makes sure to position him standing upright as Christian holds his shoulder. Bryan steps back across the ring and he CHARGES AT CHRISTIAN AND GOES FOR A DROPKICK IN THE CORNER...BUT CHRISTIAN MOVES!! Bryan gets all tangled in between the turnbuckles and the ropes and Christian then turns it into the TREE OF WOE!! Christian folds Bryan’s knee over the turnbuckle and alleviates the pressure, and he then pulls Bryan down onto the mat. Christian then picks Daniel off of the mat and goes behind him and grabs his arms and then hooks him up for the KILLSWITCH...NO!! BRYAN GRABS CHRISTIAN’S ARM... LEBELL LOCK!! BRYAN HAS THE LEBELL LOCK IN THE CENTRE OF THE RING!!! Christian desperately tries to fight out of it, but Bryan finally has the hold properly locked in after the first two were unsuccessful!

...

.....

Christian tries to reach towards the ropes but he is dead in the centre of the ring!

.....

.......

Bryan pulls back even further and Christian desperately looks up to the ceiling but he can’t move!

Christian lifts his arm up

!!!!AND TAPS OUT!!!!

IT’S OVER!!!

WINNER and STILL MR MONEY IN THE BANK: DANIEL BRYAN (11.54)

*FLIGHT OF THE VALKYRIES*

Bryan releases the hold, and he immediately grabs his knee that Christian had been working on for the best part of the match. But he then looks around the arena at all of the fans that are on their feet and chanting his name

Michael Cole:
NO! How has this happened?

Booker T:
D.Bryan looked like he was out of dis, but he is still gon’ become the World Heavyweight Champion one day; Mark Henry better watch out!

Michael Cole:
Booker, are you serious? You think this nerd will beat Mark Henry?

Jerry Lawler:
Well, if you look at Christian’s face, I think that tells the whole story about what that briefcase meant to him.

Christian sits in the corner and holds his head in his hands at the sight of what seems to be his last chance of having a rematch for the World Heavyweight Championship go flying out of the window. Bryan on the other hand seems relieved that his own little slump has ended and he stands in the centre of the ring with his coveted briefcase raised in the air for all to see.

Jerry Lawler:
Well Michael, I don’t know what you seem so upset about, because up next, we have the main event. Six men will challenge for the WWE Championship, but only one will walk out with the gold. It is time for a Six-Pack Challenge Elimination Match!

WRESTLEMANIA 28
APRIL 1, 2012

"ONCE IN A LIFETIME"

-----

From the Wrestlemania 28 ad, we now go back to the interview set area, and a loud pop rings around the arena because MATT STRIKER is standing by with none other than JOHN CENA!

Matt Striker:
It is my distinct honour to welcome by guest at this time, he is just moments away from competing to win his TENTH WWE Championship, he is the one and only, John Cena!

Cena tilts his cap forwards as Striker is clearly marking out. (Bro!)

Matt Striker:
John, we just saw an advertisement for Wrestlemania 28, where you will go one on one with The Rock in a truly Once in a Lifetime match up. If you were to win the WWE Championship tonight, how would it feel to go into that match with The Rock as WWE Champion and possibly even defend the WWE Championship at Wrestlemania 28 against The Rock?

John Cena:
Well Matt, if I'm being completely honest, it would make the biggest match in history even bigger. Ever since the night after Wrestlemania 27, everyone has known that I am going to walk into the Sun Life Stadium on April 1st and I am going to do battle with The Rock.

The fans pop and Cena removes his cap and runs his hand over his head.

John Cena:
To go into that match as the WWE Champion and go on to successfully defend the championship against The Rock will make me the greatest WWE Superstar of all time.

There is a mixed reaction for that one and Cena knows he is rubbing a few people up the wrong way.

John Cena:
But that will happen when it happens because tonight is a whole different story; we're here at Night of Champions, in BUFFALO, NEW YORK!

Cena manages to get the fans back on side almost immediately.

John Cena:
And you said it yourself Matt, tonight I could win my tenth WWE Championship... and I've already held it more times than anyone else in history but trust me there is no greater feeling in the world than winning the WWE Championship. That title has been held by legends, and to see it being held by... Alberto Del Rio-

Cena is cut off by a loud surge of boos from the crowd.

John Cena:
Alberto Del Rio is in my eyes the WORST WWE Champion of all time... and The Miz has been WWE Champion for Jebus' sake!

The fans pop for the double insult.

John Cena:
So I promise each and every person watching tonight... Tonight, the WWE Championship is going to return to its rightful home for the TENTH TIME!

There is another mixed reaction in the arena as Cena looks to walk off, but he quickly turns back to the camera.

John Cena:
But you... you already know that.

Cena winks and leaves the shot; leaving Striker grinning like a total idiot as we head back into the arena for some sweeping shots of the fans whilst our commentators come back in.
Michael Cole:
Well that was a very focused John Cena we saw, but it seemed like he was a little too relaxed ahead of this match coming up.

Jerry Lawler:
You know what John's like; he knows he is one of the favourites going into this match and he just knows how to handle it.

Michael Cole:
So any predictions anyone? I've only got two wrong tonight and I am saying that Alberto Del Rio is going to retain his title tonight; he's going to prove everyone wrong and prove that he deserves to be the WWE Champion.

Booker T:
I'm gon' go for the real underdog... Kofi Kingston! Tonight is Kofi's chance to step up and show dat he belongs in the big leagues, dawg.

Jerry Lawler:
Good choice, Booker, but I'm going to go for the man that SHOULD be the WWE Champion right now; CM Punk. We've seen how determined he is to get the WWE Championship back and I have a good feeling that he will tonight.

*REALEZA*

There's a lot of heat in the arena as a red 2010 Ferrari 458 Italia pulls up alongside the side of the stage that isn't caved in. After a few seconds, the passenger door opens to reveal RICARDO RODRIGUEZ, seemingly not happy that he is not allowed to do his announcing duties tonight, and he walks around the car to the driver's side, and he opens the door... and out steps the WWE Champion ALBERTO DEL RIO! The sight of Del Rio with the title angers the fans and the boos get even louder. Del Rio walks past the car and out onto the stage. He holds his arms out to the side and flails them around randomly the way he does and a shower of gold pyro falls down behind him to match the championship around his waist.

Michael Cole:
What a grand entrance! Like him or not, you have to admit that our WWE Champion has class, and lots of it.

Jerry Lawler:
But that monkey Ricardo Rodriguez doesn't look happy! I bet he's angry about being demoted from ring announcer to chauffeur!

Booker T:
Man dis Alberto Del Rio has all of the style in the world, but that alone doesn't make you successful in the WWE; you gotta have the skills to back it up in the ring.

Michael Cole:
What are you talking about, Booker? He is the nephew of the great Mexican wrestler Mil Mascaras; wrestling is in his blood, he grew up surrounded by it... and not only that, he is the WWE Champion! Is that not success to you?!

Booker T:
I mean the way he acts as champ- aw hell I don't have to explain maself to you, Cole!

Rodriguez holds the ropes open for the champion, and Del Rio gets into the ring and he unclips his championship from around his waist and holds it high in the air to some loud heat from the fans. The referee comes over and tries to take the title belt off of the champion, and a small game of Tug of War ensues between the champion and the official. Ricardo Rodriguez is instead giving a nervous looking Justin Roberts evils. Del Rio gives up and hands the gold over for the referee to hold, and his music fades out to reveal the cacophony of heat that is ringing around the arena. Del Rio picks a corner facing the entrance ramp in to wait for all of his challengers.

*MY TIME IS NOW*

There is a mixed reaction in the arena as JOHN CENA storms out onto the stage, and he soaks in all of the electricity from the fans and looks pretty game tonight. He looks at the camera and gives his life lesson of "Time's up for Berty!" before he salutes the fans and starts sprinting down the ramp.

Michael Cole:
It seems that John Cena has recovered from the injuries inflicted on him by Alberto Del Rio the past couple of weeks.

Jerry Lawler:
Del Rio has been targeting John Cena's arm in the run up to this match; he hit it with a steel pipe two weeks ago and this past Monday Night on Raw, Del Rio locked Cena in that devastating Cross Armbreaker!

Booker T:
Well I've gotta give the devil his due, Del Rio knows dat Cena bases his offence on power, an' if Cena's hurt his arm, his power game is gone.

Michael Cole:
But John Cena's arm is recovered, Booker, we just said that. This is an interesting developing situation here!

What Cole is referring to is Cena sliding into the ring and as soon as he gets back up to his feet Del Rio is almost nose to nose with him, and the two trade a few words but Cena slowly raises his hand up in front of his face and tells the champion that he can't see him! The fans pop, and Cena smiles and throws his cap and shirt into the crowd; the females cheering loudly. Cena's music cuts off, and he continues his staring contest from across the ring with Del Rio.

*SOS*

There's a loud pop in the arena, one which almost rivalled Cena's as the ever-excited KOFI KINGSTON bursts out onto the stage, in a pair of blue trunks, he stands in the centre of the stage and does a few of his Boom Claps, with yellow and green pyro bursting out the stage as he does. Kofi is all smiles as he starts coming down the ramp at pace and slaps hands with the fans.

Jerry Lawler:
Booker, you said Kofi Kingston was the underdog, but I think that people have been too quick to rule him out of this one. Whenever he has had the chance in the spotlight he's excelled and tonight will be no different; expect big things from Kofi Kingston in this match.

Michael Cole:
He has literally no chance of winning this match! I'm sorry, but it is true!

Jerry Lawler:
He took the WWE Champion Alberto Del Rio to the limit a few weeks ago on Raw, and he almost beat the champion!

Michael Cole:
Almost. If he can't even beat the champion, how do you expect him to beat the champion AND four other men?

Booker T:
Kofi's time... will come, now can you dig dat?

Kofi gets into the ring, and he nods at Cena and Cena steps back to let Kofi has his time to play to the crowd, and Kingston climbs up on the turnbuckle and does some more Boom Claps, and looks in a general happy mood as always. Kofi smiles as he jumps back down to the mat, and it seems Del Rio was a little annoyed that Kofi paid no attention to him. SOS fades out as everyone's attention returns to the stage.

"AWEEESOMMMEE!!"
"THE TRUTH HAS SET ME FREE!"
*SHUT UP*

The loudest boos of the night are awarded to THE AWESOME TRUTH, as they walk out onto the stage to the instrumental from R-TRUTH's old theme. THE MIZ wears a long jacket as he holds his head up high walking down the ramp, and behind him Truth is dressed in his street clothes/ring attire and shouting incoherently at the fans.

Michael Cole:
Behind Alberto Del Rio, one of these two are my pick to win this match. They have the advantage that they can work together and make it so that they are the last two left in this match.

Jerry Lawler:
If they don't stab each other in the back first!

Michael Cole:
These two will be under strict instruction from John Laurinaitis to bring him the WWE Championship into the Administration.

Booker T:
I don't agree wid dat whole situation; John Laurinaitis should not be allowed to use dese two to do his dirty work for him; you don't see Teddy Long don' dat!

Michael Cole:
And Teddy Long is on the brink of being fired; who's got the right strategy?

The Miz runs towards the ring apron and he jumps onto it and looks out to the fans in the arena who are all booing The Awesome Truth. R-Truth slides into the ring, and Miz enters and the two stand next to each other and they stare at the other three men in the ring, who are all staring back giving the two men that have caused trouble on Raw the past couple of months. Miz smirks at the unwelcoming stares from the other men in the ring, but he has to refrain Truth from advancing towards Kofi Kingston. Awesome Truth quietly take their place in a corner as everyone keenly awaits the final man to come into this match.

*CULT OF PERSONALITY*

The crowd ERUPTS as the famous tune blares out around the arena, and the pop increases as CM PUNK walks out from behind the curtain, and he seems just as pissed off as he was earlier. Nonetheless he approaches the top of the ramp and crouches done. With a huge roar of "ITS CLOBERRINNNN' TIIIMMEE!" he starts to march down the ramp, his eyes fixated on The Awesome Truth who smugly look back at him.

Jerry Lawler:
Here is the man that should be the WWE Champion! CM Punk was screwed out of the WWE Championship by Kevin Nash at Summerslam, and again by Nash on the next night on Raw; I just hope that Kevin Nash is not in the arena somewhere tonight!

Michael Cole:
Punk's been accusing almost EVERYBODY of being in on it; he has confronted the WWE Champion Alberto Del Rio, the Raw General Manager John Laurinaitis, even accusing Kevin Nash's good friend, the COO of the entire WWE, Triple H!

Booker T:
The security measured need to be stepped up, dawgs. Dis guy is HUGE, an' he manages to get past dem every time!

Michael Cole:
That's what CM Punk was getting at... someone has been letting Kevin Nash in.

Punk gets into the ring and wastes no time squaring up to The Miz, and he doesn't bother trying to play to the fans as he is one bad mood it seems. Punk throws his 'Best in the World' T-shirt out to the fans, and he points at the WWE Championship in the hands of the official, which causes Del Rio to wear a worried expression. Cult of Personality fades out to reveal a huge buzz in the air around the Niagara Center ahead of the main event. Justin Roberts steps forwards to do the introductions.

Justin Roberts:
The following-

Roberts is cut off because someone has grabbed the microphone! It was The Miz!!

The Miz:
Get our of our ring or being choked with your tie will be the least of your worries you dork.

The fans boo as The Awesome Truth stand in the centre of the ring, the other four men not looking happy at all.

The Miz:
All week everyone has been talking about 'CM Punk being the rightful champion' or 'Kofi Kingston' is a true underdog'. What about US? What about The Awesome Truth?!

Miz looks around at his fellow competitors, but they all give him dumbfounded looks.

The Miz:
We are the elite Superstars in the WWE... why else would John Laurinaitis have assigned US as his Security Team and let us in his Administration?

The fans boo for the mention of the GM, and R-Truth takes the microphone out of his partner's hand.

R-Truth:
So all of y'all might as well get da hell out of dis ring right now. Cos the WWE Title is comin' home wid us!

Truth nods his head as very few people can take him seriously.

R-Truth:
So I dare any of y'all, I imp-lore you to come and do something about it!

Truth seems happy with himself, but Miz' face turns into a 'Why did you just say that?' face as all four of the other Superstars start to bear down on The Awesome Truth!!

R-Truth:
Oh chicken crap.

There is a shared laughter for that comment, but the fans start popping because Del Rio, Cena, Kofi and Punk all start to attack The Awesome Truth!! All four men pound on Miz and Truth and the referee, seeing the carnage that has ensued, calls for the bell! The main event has begun in anarchy!

Main Event:
WWE Championship Match:
Six Pack Challenger Elimination Match:

Alberto Del Rio ©
w/ Ricardo Rogriguez vs John Cena vs CM Punk vs The Miz vs R-Truth vs Kofi Kingston

The fans start going wild as there are bodies everywhere right from the beginning as Awesome Truth are getting theirs to kick off the main event!! Cena and Kofi are pounding away on The Miz, whilst CM Punk and Del Rio have formed a small alliance to push Truth into the corner and start to put the boots into him. Kofi picks Miz up and holds him whilst Cena delivers a couple of body shots, and Kofi then takes Miz by the head and smashes it into the top turnbuckle! Cena and Kofi both celebrate as Miz falls to the deck in the corner, whilst on the other side of the ring, Del Rio stands back as Punk drives his knee into Truth’s mid section, and the champion starts to shout instructions to Punk to hurt Truth more, but Punk suddenly stops and squares up to the champion, and Del Rio instinctively goes for a right hand, but Punk blocks and delivers a kick to the ribs!! Del Rio jumps back from the impact, and Punk follows in with a right hand and an Irish Whip to send Del Rio into the corner. Punk follows him in but Berty gets his elbow up and Punk runs right into it, and Del Rio grabs Punk by the head and drapes it over the middle rope, before pressing his knee down and choking Punk. Cena goes over to the recovering Miz in the corner and begins with his assault once more, with repeated punches and kicks in a quick flurry whilst Kingston goes to follow up on R-Truth in the opposite corner but he is met by a right hand to the mouth from Truth, who follows up with a kick to the mid section that keels Kofi over, and Truth comes in with a knee lift onto Kingston that sends him spiralling down to the mat. Truth now sees Cena pummelling Miz and charges across the ring and jumps at Cena, knocking him down to his knees. Miz shakes the cobwebs out a little bit and he pushes Cena down to the mat, and now Awesome Truth start to have their way with John Cena!! The fans boo as both men stomp into Cena’s chest and head, before they decide that he’s had enough and turn their attention back to Kofi Kingston. Del Rio is pressing Punk’s head into the middle turnbuckle as Rodriguez is cheering him on right at ringside. Awesome Truth now stand over the recovering Kingston, and Miz quickly grabs Kofi, and gets him up by the tights and throws him over the top rope!! Kofi lands with a splat as AT look with smiles, and they turn back around into a DOUBLE CLOTHESLINE FROM CENA!!!

A large pop rings around the arena as Cena flattens Awesome Truth at the same time, but as soon as Cena has the chance to have a break, both of them are back up but Cena takes down the charging Miz with a Hip Toss, and Truth then comes in and tries to take advantage, but Cena sees it coming and connects with a right hand to Truth’s mid section, and he gets his head under Truth’s arm and grabs his leg to take him over with a FISHERMAN SUPLEX!! The fans give a mixed reaction as Cena is on a roll, and he sees the men down either side of him, and just as he does this it seems that Del Rio thinks that Punk has had enough in the corner, and the champion turns around to see John Cena staring at him from across the ring. Cena starts talking to Del Rio and motioning to his arm, but he then rotates it as if nothing is wrong!! There is a loud buzz in the air as both men start to approach one another, but Del Rio goes for the first blow, and Cena blocks it!! There is a loud pop as Cena reels in with a right of his own and then another one, and he whips Del Rio against the ropes and when the champion comes back, Cena elevates him up for a BACK BODY DROP!! Del Rio crashes onto the mat back first, and he is able to get back up and he leans against the ropes, but here comes Cena, and he clotheslines Del Rio over the top rope and the champion lands out in front of the announce table!! Cena exits the ring to a good reaction to follow up, and in the ring, Punk has gotten back up, and he stares across the ring to find The Awesome Truth looking back at him, and they both start to pummel down the former WWE Champion.

Cena bears down on Del Rio on the outside, but Ricardo Rodriguez is quick to jump in the way of the champion and protect his friend to some loud heat from the fans. Cena quickly grabs Rodriguez by the collar though, and he starts to walk the announcer away, but DEL RIO COMES IN FROM BEHIND!! The champion blindsides Cena, and he starts stomping away on the arm that he damaged on Raw, before he and Rodriguez picks the 10-time champion up and Del Rio tells Rodriguez to start taking apart the Spanish Announce Table?! The fans boo this action as Del Rio sends Cena into the steel steps before he puts in some more boots to the arm. The champion now lifts Cena up to his feet, and he starts to drag him over to the “undressed” announce table, and he goes to smash Cena’s head off of the desk... but Cena blocks it!! There is a big pop as Cena turns around and fires away with his good arm to knock Del Rio back, and Cena then sends the champion’s head bouncing off of the table!! Rodriguez comes charging in at Cena, but he is taken down by a huge clothesline from Cena!!! The fans pop loudly as Cena turns his attention back to the champion who is slowly getting up to his feet, and Cena grabs him up by the arm and places him on top of his shoulders!!! The fans are going wild and the pain on Cena’s face is obvious, but he slowly takes a couple of steps closer to the announce desk with the flailing champion on his shoulders... AND PUTS DEL RIO THROUGH THE ANNOUNCE TABLE WITH AN ATTITUDE ADJUSTMENT!!!!

Cena falls to the floor after he plants the champion through the table, and the pop is almost DEAFENING as the champion lays in the debris from the desk, and Cena is also down holding his arm as it appears the damage that Del Rio had done before took its toll. Back in the ring, Miz and Truth have Punk trapped in the corner, with Truth cutting Punk off by driving a shoulder into his wait, and Miz laying into him with right hands to the head. The fans are still crazy from the announce table spot, but they carry on cheering as Punk manages to connect with a right hand to Miz that knocks him back, and Punk manages to knee Truth in the face, and Punk is able to step forward and he delivers a backhand to Truth and turns into a side kick into Miz’s gut! Punk runs against the ropes and back at Awesome Truth, and he goes for a double clothesline like Cena, but Awesome Truth see it coming and they both burst out and connect with a double clothesline to Punk!! Punk hits the mat hard, and Awesome Truth quickly pick him back up and they both place their heads underneath Punk’s arms and they take him over with a DOUBLE SUPLEX!!! Miz quickly then jumps on top of Punk for the cover!!

THR-Miz breaks it up with a KICK TO KOFI’S FACE!!

The fans start to boo once again as Kofi drops to the mat and Miz dives on top of him and starts to pound him in the head with a flurry of right hands. R-Truth pops back up and looks furious, with Miz now bringing Kofi up to his feet and he holds Kingston in place for Truth to slap the taste out of his mouth! There is a loud cry of “OOH!” from the fans as the blow sends Kofi back down to the mat, and Awesome Truth now stomp around the ring, being the only two men standing, with Punk and Kofi down. The crowd boos again, and in the corner, Punk starts to use the turnbuckle to get back up to his feet, but when he does, Miz charges in and he hits the SEATED CORNER CLOTHESLINE!! Punk falls down to the mat on his face, and Miz starts to smirk in the corner. Miz gets out of the turnbuckle, and he starts shouting for Truth, and the Awesome One goes and lifts Kofi back up, and he pushes him towards the waiting Truth, who catches him with a JUMPING CALF KICK!!! More heat rings around the arena once more, as Miz goes to grab Punk and he drags him into the centre of the ring. Awesome Truth stand either side of the Straight Edge Superstar, and Miz shouts ”AWESOME!” followed by the shout of ”TRUTH!” and they both rebound off of the ropes and Miz drops down with an elbow to the chest and Truth hits a double-legged leg drop onto Punk’s midsection!! There is even more heat for that move, but the fans suddenly start to cheer, because it becomes obvious that JOHN CENA is back up!!! There is a loud pop as Cena slides into the ring!! But Awesome Truth meets him there!! Miz and Truth lay into Cena with stomps as he enters the ring to some big heat from the fans, but despite the boots being put to him, Cena is still managing to get back to his feet, and he is able to break free from Awesome Truth and he FLOORS Miz with a right hand!! Cena rallies on with more right hands to Truth, and he sends Truth into the ropes but Miz comes from behind Cena and rakes the eyes from behind!! The crowd boos, but then Truth comes back off of the ropes and he hits Cena with the LIE DETECTOR!!! Truth then goes for the cover on Cena!

Thr-CENA POWERS OUT!!

A big cheer erupts in the Niagara Center, as Truth flares his nostrils in anger at the kick out, but he made sure that Cena had to use his bad arm to power out of the pin, and the pain is evident in Cena’s face. Miz however, seems to be waiting behind Cena as he begins to slowly get back up, the fans booing as Mizanin is stalking Cena as he is getting back to his feet. Cena gets back up to a knee and Miz is almost foaming at the mouth as he tries to urge Cena up. Cena slowly elevates himself up, but Miz is right in there and he hooks Cena up from behind- SKULL CRUSHING FINALE-NO!! Cena rolls through and sends Miz flying over his shoulder!! The fans pop as Truth now runs over to Cena and is decked with a right hand, and Cena quickly charges against the ropes and knocks Truth down with a flying shoulder tackle!! Cena sees Miz getting back up and he gives one to Miz as well!! Truth comes back and Cena ducks the right hand and hits him with the SIT OUT POWERBOMB!!! The fans now start to boo the Cena routine as he’s still managing to do all of these moves without his left arm. Miz comes towards Cena now, but Cena catches him with another Sit Out Powerbomb!! The fans give off a mixed reaction as Cena sees both men down in the centre of the ring and he raises both hands into the air and tells Miz and Truth that they can’t see him, before he runs against the ropes for a DOUBLE FIVE KNUCKLE SHUFFLE ON AWESOME TRUTH!! Cena springs back up and shakes his arm out, and Miz rolls to the side of the ring after the move whilst Truth stumbles back up to his feet, and right back into Cena’s path for an emphatic ATTITUDE ADJUSTMENT!! The fans pop for the second one of the night and Cena literally dives on top for the cover; hooking the leg!!

ELIMINATION #1 – R-TRUTH BY JOHN CENA (8.24)

The fans go wild because R-TRUTH IS OUT!! Cena asserts his authority on the match so far by getting the first elimination, and the man he eliminated, R-Truth, rolls to the side of the ring and down onto the floor after the pin fall, leaving Cena left to favour his arm once again, but he gets back up to his feet, and MIZ is charging in at Cena!! Cena sees him coming and he catches Miz with a DROP TOEHOLD and then into the STF!!! The fans are going wild once again as Miz is caught in the centre of the ring in the STF! Cena pulls back hard and shouts for his Wrestlemania 27 opponent to tap out, but Miz shakes his head and starts to crawl towards the ropes, but he can only claw fractionally further, and MIZ RAISES HIS HAND!!!

BUT R-TRUTH COMES BACK INTO THE RING AND BREAKS THE HOLD!!!

The fans boo loudly as Cena lets go of the hold due to the outside interference, and the referee tries to grab Truth and take him out of the ring, but Truth shoves him to the side, and he grabs Miz by the arm and brings his partner up to his feet, Miz holds his back, but Truth points to Cena, in some pain himself, and Miz goes behind Cena and Truth stands in front of him as the man that eliminated him gets back up to his feet, and when Cena does, Awesome Truth hit the LITTLE JIMMY FINALE!!! Cena is laid out as the referee now grabs R-Truth and starts to pull him out of the ring, and instead of going for the cover Miz is furious and starts shouting at the referee, but the fans start to boo very loudly... because ALBERTO DEL RIO has crawled back into the ring!! The fans boo as the champion crawls towards Cena and he gets on top of him and hooks the leg!! The referee brushes Awesome Truth aside to begrudgingly count the fall!

ELIMINATION #2 – JOHN CENA BY ALBERTO DEL RIO (10.10)

There is not one soul in the arena that is not in a total state of shock as everything seems to descend into silence before the fans start to react and rain the heat down on the WWE Champion, who looks already battered from the announce table, but he wears a huge shit-eating grin on his face as he sits down next to the worn out and eliminated body of John Cena. R-Truth sees that he has gotten a measure of revenge against Cena and he drops off of the apron and starts making his way to the back, as Cena is rolled out of the ring by the referee, and he lands on his feet when he is rolled out and the look of disappointment is obvious to see as he slowly hobbles his way back up the ramp. Miz though walks over to the WWE Champion and Del Rio seems a little concerned at first, but Miz offers his hand out and he brings the champion up to his feet to some more boos, and the new alliance start to talk amongst themselves, but they are distracted by a loud pop in the arena, and both men turn around and are taken out by a CROSS BODY FROM KINGSTON!! Kingston climbed up onto the top rope whilst everything else was going on and he takes advantage and knocks Miz and Del Rio down. The pop from the fans get even louder as CM Punk slides back into the ring, and he assesses the state of affairs and sees Miz getting back up to his feet in the corner, and Punk charges in and hits the HIGH KNEE to the face!! There is a loud pop again, and Punk stays up there and puts his arm around Miz’ neck and sees that Del Rio is getting back up to his feet he grabs Miz and charges forwards... BULLDOG/CLOTHESLINE COMBINATION TAKES MIZ AND DEL RIO DOWN!! A large pop rings out from the fans as both men lay next to each other in the centre of the ring, and Kingston starts stomping around the ring, giving Punk the chance to rest, and Kofi rebounds off of the ropes and crashes his legs on top of Miz and the champion with the BOOM DROP!! Another loud pop rings out as Miz rolls away after the impact to the side of the ring, and it caused Del Rio to start getting back up, and Kofi starts to do some Boom Claps and the WWE Universe joins in to will Del Rio back to his feet and Kofi comes in and flattens Del Rio with some TROUBLE IN PARADISE!!! The fans go wild as Kofi is about to jump onto the champion for the cover, but Rodriguez grabs Del Rio’s feet and drags him out of the ring!!

Boos ring out as Rodriguez cradles the unresponsive Del Rio, who is hurt after the battering he has taken in this match to defend his championship. In the ring, Punk and Kingston realise that they are the two men left standing so they might as well go at it. They both approach the centre of the ring and bump fists before locking up. Punk is able to quickly get out of it and send Kingston into the corner, and follows him in. Kofi goes for the floatover, but Punk sees it coming and stands in position and he catches Kofi on his shoulders!! The fans pop as Punk brings Kingston into the centre of the ring and he goes for the GTS-NO!! Kofi is able to slide off of Punk’s shoulders and he runs against the ropes behind Punk, but Punk drops to the mat to dodge him and then when Kofi comes back again Punk leapfrogs over but then Kingston comes again and leaps high into the air but Punk catches him with a dropkick to the midsection!! Kofi drops out of the air like a fly and Punk quickly goes for the cover.

Punk isn’t deterred as he quickly gets back up and Kofi is relatively fast getting back up from all of that too, but Punk delivers a stinging kick to the side of Kofi’s leg which causes Kingston to hobble a little bit, and before Kofi can recover from that one, Punk steps back and delivers another kick to the side of Kofi’s leg!! Kofi feels the effects of that and Punk quickly darts towards the ropes and comes back off of them behind Kofi and takes him down to the mat with a chop block!! Kofi holds his right leg in pain as Punk brings him back up, and he uses his Muay Thai background to deliver a backhand to Kofi’s face, but it is quickly followed by ANOTHER kick to the leg!! Punk grabs Kofi now and goes to Irish Whip him into the corner, but Kofi is able to turn it around, and he sends Punk crashing into the turnbuckle. Kofi shakes his leg out quickly and runs in at Punk, and he leaps and lands on the top rope, but Punk is able to get out from underneath Kofi, and he slips underneath him and clubs Kingston in the back, and he then goes back underneath Kofi and gets Kingston up onto his shoulders and he takes a few steps into the ring and POWERBOMBS Kofi down onto the mat!! Punk falls back after the impact leaves Kofi folded up like an accordion, and Punk seems genuinely concerned for Kofi and is a little hesitant to go for the cover, but Punk snaps himself out of it and then pushes Kofi down to a vertical base and goes on top of him for the pin.

Mizanin turns Kofi inside out with a clothesline after taking a break for a couple of minutes whilst Punk and Kingston battled it out. Punk is back up, and he charges towards Miz but Miz sees him coming and greets Punk with a boot to the face!! The boot causes Punk to stumble back a few steps, but Miz comes in with a knee lift on Punk, followed by a Swinging Neckbreaker!! Punk lands on the back of his neck once again to the dismay of the fans. Kofi is back to his feet, but Kingston is clearly tired as he fires a lazy right hand at Miz who ducks it with ease and goes behind Kingston... hooking his arms through as he does. The fans boo as Miz wears a cocky smirk before hitting the SKULL CRUSHING FINALE ON KINGSTON!! The fans give Miz more heat as there is no one to help Kofi as Miz goes for the pin.

ELIMINATION #3 – KOFI KINGSTON BY THE MIZ (14.44)

The fans are deflated to see Kofi’s dream end, but the man that got the elimination, The Miz, wastes no time in beginning his assault to lead up to his next one. Miz charges across the ring and stomps away on Punk, and Miz’ boots force Punk out of the ring under the bottom rope. Miz quickly jumps through the ropes and follows up his assault with some more boots, and he props Punk up in a seated position against the ring barrier and Miz drives his knee right into Punk’s head, crushing it against the barrier. Miz goes down and rattles in some more right hands to the head, before he grabs Punk by the back of the neck and sends him CRASHING INTO THE BARRICADE!! Punk screams out in pain and he holds the back of his head again as Miz stands next to him with his arms in the air. Meanwhile, on the other side of the outside, Alberto Del Rio has managed to get back to his feet, but he looks a lot worse for wear than the other two men left in the match, but nonetheless, the champion slides into the ring and notices the commotion on the other side of the ring, with Punk now back up and brawling with Miz, and Del Rio charges across the ring and DIVES OVER THE TOP ROPE-TAKING OUT PUNK AND MIZ!!!

All three men are down and laying in a heap at ringside, as all have been battered at some point in the match, but it is the champion that gets back up to his feet first, and he grabs CM Punk and rolls him back into the ring, before quickly sliding back in himself. Punk is unable to get up straight away and he crawls on his knees as Del Rio looms over him and then boots him in the side of the head!! Punk rolls across the ring from the blow, and Del Rio slowly follows Punk across the ring, and Del Rio grabs Punk’s arm and then drives his elbow into it, which causes Punk to grimace a little. The champion keeps hold of the arm and uses it to pull Punk towards the corner, and Del Rio places Punk’s arm on the turnbuckle and kicks it, which causes Punk to yelp out in pain once again. The champion brings Punk to his feet in the corner, and Irish Whips him across the ring so Punk is sent into the opposite turnbuckle, Del Rio follows him in, but he is met by Punk’s boot!! The fans pop as Punk now charges out of the corner looking for a clothesline but Del Rio sees it coming and counters into a TILT-A-WHIRL BACKBREAKER!! Punk crumples down onto the mat in pain, as Del Rio wears a broad smirk once again, and the champion goes out onto the ring apron, and he measures Punk in the centre of the ring and slingshots himself over the top rope-TOPE ATOMICO!! The champion rolls all the way through and holds his arms in the air to a lot of heat. Del Rio turns around to follow up on Punk, but he is taken from surprise by THE MIZ FROM BEHIND!! Miz takes the champion down with a Double Sledge and then starts putting the boots to the WWE Champion, and Miz then picks the champion up once more, and he applies a ¾ Facelock on Del Rio, and plants the champion with the SNAPMARE DRIVER!! The fans go “OOH!” as Miz rolls the champion over!

Punk lulls down the turnbuckle slightly as Miz gets out, and he sees Del Rio in the opposite corner also using the turnbuckle to stay up, and Miz runs across the ring and Del Rio gets a SEATED CORNER CLOTHESLINE TOO!! The fans boo as Miz angrily stomps around the ring, with Punk slowly making his way out of the corner; Miz quickly gets in behind Punk and tries to hook him up for the SKULL CRUSHING FINALE-NO! Punk snapmares Miz out of it and Miz quickly gets back up and turns around to run back at Punk, but Punk elevates him upwards and Miz lands face first on the top turnbuckle!! The move almost kills The Miz, and he holds his face in pain as he slowly turns back out of the corner and into a Fireman’s Carry from Punk! The fans go absolutely mental as Punk walks into the centre of the ring with Miz draped over his shoulder, and Punk drops him down and hits the GO TO SLEEP!! GTS CONNECTING!! ELIMINATION #4 – THE MIZ BY CM PUNK (18.32)

A raucous reception greets that elimination, as Punk puffs his cheeks out and he gets back up to his feet as The Miz slowly rolls out of the ring. Del Rio gets up to his feet in the corner as well, as there is electricity in the air as both the champion and the man that “should” be the champion both lock eyes as they are the last two men remaining in the match. Punk looks worn out as he holds his fists up, willing Del Rio to come towards him, and the champion swears in Spanish, and he charges in!! Punk and Del Rio begin to trade right hands in the centre of the ring, and Punk starts to get the better of it and he fires Del Rio onto the ropes, and the champion rebounds back, looking for a clothesline, but Punk ducks down and scoops the champion up onto his shoulders!! The fans go WILD in the arena, and Punk lifts Del Rio up for the GTS-NO!! Del Rio keeps hold of Punk’s arm and he falls to the mat and Punk’s arm crunches against Del Rio’s knees!! Punk holds his arm in pain again as the damage from earlier on resurfaces, and Del Rio gets back up to his feet with a disgusted look towards his last remaining challenger, and he grabs Punk’s arm again, and locks in the CROSS ARMBREAKER!!!! The fans start to boo deafeningly loud as Punk scrambles around with his legs, and he tries using his other arm to break the hold up, but there is nothing that he can do to break it. Punk screams in pain as Del Rio pulls even further back on the arm, and it appears that the fight is slowly fading out of Punk as he desperately reaches around for the ropes, but he is stuck right in the centre of the ring with a good metre between his hand and the ropes. A “CM PUNK” chant rings around the Niagara Center, and Punk slams his foot into the mat whilst Del Rio screams for him to submit, but Punk has come too far for that. Punk slowly edges his legs towards the side of the ring, and this causes Del Rio to have to change his position too. Punk starts using his free arm to turn his body around, and Punk starts to SHUFFLE towards the ropes!! A look of terror comes across Del Rio’s face as Punk extends his leg out... and GETS HIS FOOT ON THE BOTTOM ROPE!! A massive cheer breaks out, and Del Rio fully utilizes the referee’s five count, before unwillingly breaking the hold and shouting at the referee ”Ju can’t be serious!”, and he gets up to his feet leaving Punk cradling his arm on the mat.

Del Rio comes back towards Punk and he begins to stomp away on the downed Punk, targeting the arm in particular. Del Rio then brings Punk back up to his feet and goes to Irish Whip him across the ring, but the action causes Punk to need to shake his arm out, and the distraction allows the champion to come back in off of the ropes with an ENZIGUIRI!!! Punk flops down onto the mat, and he lands on his face, but he bounces off of the mat and lands down on his back. Del Rio smiles as he gets up to a knee, and he looks up to the turnbuckle. Del Rio takes a deep breath, and he starts to walk over to the corner of the ring, and he steps up onto the middle rope, and the champion takes a nervous look back at Punk still down in the ring, and Del Rio climbs up onto the top rope, and he seems a little cautious as he begins to steady himself, and the champion leaps off with a MOONSAULT!! BUT PUNK MOVED!!! The champion crashes down onto the mat, as Rodriguez is going crazy at ringside, and Punk crouches in the corner and he looks at the Del Rio, seemingly winded, holds his stomach as he slowly gets back up, and Punk darts towards the champion... and he scoops him up onto his shoulder... and drops him with the GO TO SLEEP!!! The fans go mental as Punk crawls towards Del Rio... but he doesn’t go for the cover as it seems that something has caught his eye!!

There is a lot of commotion in the arena... because KEVIN NASH is at ringside!!! The crowd turns into solid heat, as Punk gets back up to his feet and eyes up the man that has cost him the WWE Championship twice, and Punk invites Nash to come into the ring! Everyone is still in shock, as Nash hops the barricade and he slides into the ring, but Punk meets him with stomps to the back of the head and his back, but Nash is still able to get up to his feet and he pushes Punk back into the centre of the ring. Punk rolls back through, and he charges at Nash... but gets caught with a Big Boot to the face!!! Punk drops like a stone, and Nash quickly grabs Punk by the head and lifts him back up... and Nash doubles Punk over and places his head in between his legs and he takes him up... and drops him with a JACK KNIFE POWERBOMB!!! Punk lands hard, and the fans go crazy all around the arena, and Nash exits the ring now, and he starts making his way back through the crowd. Nash ignores all of the fans, and a couple even shove him around, but all attention turns back to the ring where Ricardo Rodriguez is now in the ring, and he grabs Del Rio off of the mat and places him on of Punk!! The powerless referee slowly gets down onto his knees and begins the count!!

Winner AND STILL WWE CHAMPION: ALBERTO DEL RIO (24.04)

*REALEZA*

There is NUCLEAR heat around the arena as Del Rio slowly manages to sit up next to the downed Punk. Ricardo Rogriguez is sprinting around the ring shouting "DEL RIOOO" repeatedly.

Jerry Lawler:
I can not believe that this has happened again; CM Punk has been screwed out of the WWE Championship for a third time!

Michael Cole:
Bad luck for CM Punk, but let the celebrations begin for Alberto Del Rio!

Nash is now nowhere to be seen as he has disappeared into the crowd. Punk is still spread eagle flat out in the ring, as Del Rio has been helped up to his feet by his personal ring announcer, and the referee hands him his championship back, and Del Rio is quick to thrust it up into the air, and it seems the champion is on the brink of crying tears of joy after this successful, but tainted, defence.

Booker T:
Dis aint right; Del Rio was a punching bag dis whole match, he shouldn't be champion!

Michael Cole:
You're right, Booker, but maybe that was his plan; he was given an Attitude Adjustment through the announce table which took him out of the match for a few minutes... minutes which he could have been eliminated in.

Jerry Lawler:
So you're saying he got his ass handed to him on purpose? Anyway, Del Rio isn't the real story here... Kevin Nash has no right or reason to repeatedly attack CM Punk; I hope we get some answers tomorrow night.

Del Rio has now left the ring, and he backs up the ramp with Rodriguez in tow. Punk has recovered slightly in the ring and is back on his feet looking extremely angry as he holds the back of his head with one hand.

Michael Cole:
Well it has been a night of great action, a night of controversy, but more importantly, it has been the Night of Champions! A huge thank you from myself, Michael Cole, Jerry Lawler and Booker T... Goodnight, folks!

The final shot of the Pay-Per-View is Alberto Del Rio at the top of the ramp, soaking in all of the boos and holding the WWE Championship high above his head.

Right, there it is; my first ever in-full PPV. This was a hell of a lot of fun to write, and I hope that you guys have at least half as much fun reading it as I did writing it. A massive thank you to Jamjam22 once again for the pretty Match Pictures, and another huge thank you to all that left predictions; I was truly astounded that many people had taken the time to read the thread, it really does mean a lot.

I still have a few weeks before I go to college so after a few days rest I will be back on the horse writing Raw, and the road to Hell in a Cell is a very short one so that will be in the near-distant future also.

Thanks guys, hope you all like it!

Re: WWE 2011: Pushing the Boundaries

Night of Champions Feedback

Right, been looking forward to this, first time feed backing on anything in this thread, and what better place to start than a PPV?

The opening video was nothing special, but I suppose it done it’s jobs. It didn’t really have a lot of impactful images or words, enjoyed the images of Rocky, Stone Cold and Bret though, good to see Bret get some love, lol.

Really hate to start off on a negative, but I didn’t like that the Divas Championship match kicked off the PPV. In my view, either of the Intercontinental or United States Championship match should have started the match, and that’s not just because I predicted that (). Usually PPV’s should kick off with a fast paced match which gets the crowd pumped for the rest of the PPV, not sure a Divas match would be able to do it, especially with Kelly in the match. Like the description you give, describing the wrestlers entrances, a lot of people just say a few words but the way you do it – you really get a picture of what is happening in your head. Now, I know that Beth is the home town girl, but I’m not sure she would get that kind of reaction, also Kelly wouldn’t get a mixed reaction, imo, she is one of the more popular Divas (). Kind of a weird image to have, Beth being cheered like a main event face would, strange that any Diva would get that kind of reaction. :P Good way to kick off the match, enjoyed that Beth dominated the opening sequence, no way should Kelly be able to compete with the strength of Beth in a lock up, so that was good to see. Dem roll-ups. at the you can’t wrestle chants, not sure if it was a good thing to acknowledge them though, but I suppose it was a good way to get Kelly frustrated and angry, then use that anger to take it to Beth. Kelly doing a cross body is a weird thought to have, happy to see you are giving the Divas some good time and some good exposure, allowing them to do moves that they wouldn’t be allowed to do to in real life. Good that Beth won, Kelly shouldn’t be near the championship, give it to Beth, feud with someone good and you could have a great Divas feud in the near future. Was an okay opening contest, would have liked to see one of the I.C or U.S matches, but that’s personal preference.

I see you are keeping the gimmick PPV’s like Hell in a Cell, props for that, will be interesting to see how you work these gimmicks into your feuds.

Intercontinental Championship match up next? Good stuff. Been looking forward to this, and you know who I want to win . Interesting that Cody doesn’t want Ted near the ring for this match, I haven’t been reading the previous shows so I’m not sure if there is a reason for this or just Cody doesn’t want him near the match. During Legacy, I always thought Ted was going to be the bigger star, guess I got that wrong, in real life and BTB, aha. Ah, here comes the power ranger, win please. The point would have Rhodes trembling, tbh. Just going to put this hear, your match banners are beautiful, really well done, so props to whoever done them. Exactly what the match needed, a fast, strong start by the face, the highflying Sin Cara would use his speed to get the advantage in real life so you’ve got him down so far. Liking the description you give in these matches, btw. Thought the maskbutt was a bit strange, to me you’d be just as well having Rhodes side step or duck. Nice false finish here when Cara hit the flip move thing that was ripped off . “Creams in the face” makes me cringe, just the wording haha . Anyway, suppose it was a good thing for Rhodes to retain, would have liked to see Sin Cara as a champion, somewhere down the line I’m sure that will happen. Match seemed okay, seemed like a formulaic match, got to say that it didn’t feel like a big time PPV match, nothing really exciting during the match stood out.

Nice little segment here to give us a break from the matches. Long was okay here, but you had Regal down to a tee, imo. at Regal, gangster Regal. Solid match made for SmackDown, Regal for champion.

Tag match? This was probably the match I was least looking forward to, tbh. Not a fan of any of the men in this match, so not much to look forward to for me, hopefully you manage to do something with this. Good tactics by the champions, like you said tag 101, working as team while keeping the opponent away from his partner. And here comes the hot tag, could see from the moment Kozlov got in this was going to be the end. This was the regular, formulaic tag team match, nothing stood out about this match, it got the job done but nothing really excited me about it. Not sure about giving the championships to what is basically a comedy team, not sure if that’s the same in your BTB because I haven’t read the previous shows but that’s the vibe I get.

Interview time and it’s Rey Mysterio. Would have preferred to hear from Dolph, mainly because Rey isn’t that great on the microphone. Anyway, it was a solid interview, referencing his and Vickie’s past was good, I enjoyed this little segment, much like the other one.

Miz is part of Johnny’s security team? How the mighty have fallen . Didn’t get this segment at all, could have been used later on in the night to give a brief break between the big matches, and didn’t like how neither of Miz or Truth replied to Punk. Miz has one of the biggest mouths in the WWE, and I think he would have had something to say.

Again, stellar description for the entrances, really enjoy the way you write them. This was a match I was really looking forward to, that and the Money in the Bank match. Ziggles and Mysterio should be able to put on a great match so let’s see how you do. Great way to start, Ziggler talking trash while Mysterio is very focused, showed the two different personalities very well. Hope this differs from the Intercontinental Championship match, because I’ve just now realized how similar the participants in both matches are. Nice little back and forth exchange before Ziggler took control, fun start. Nice brutal move by Ziggler, countering the high flying move into a helacious power bomb. Seven times is a bit much to replay a move, haha. Oh, the classic “I punch, you punch”, love it. It’s not often you have a referee spot in a mid-card title match, so its interesting to say the least. Very intrigued by the appearance of McIntyre, I’ve not been reading but I assume he has formed some kind of partnership with Ziggles. Anyway, really good match; enjoyed it a lot, much better than the Intercontinental Championship match, imho. Be interesting to see if Mysterio gets another crack at the gold or if that’s it.

Survivor Series

These matches are always interesting to see how the booker manages the level of participants in the match, multi-man matches are quite difficult, but can be great if done right. While reading, I got to say it was difficult for me to follow everything which was happening . Wow at Sheamus going through the stage, the biggest moment of the PPV so far, probably the only huge moment which will make you remember the PPV. Sheamus coming back into the match shows how tough the guy is, and how desperate he is to win this match, risking his own health, so good way to get him over. Mark Henry as World Heavyweight Champion is definetly an interesting choice, looking forward to what you do with him. Orton should get a rematch, but I think the feud over the World Title will be between Henry and Sheamus.

Triple H bossing the former Tag Team Champions was quite funny, but a good way to give them their rematch.

Now this is the match I was looking forward to, probably the most. Both men are great in the ring, so this should be good. Fast paced start to the match, getting the crowd involved right from the get go, which is always a good thing. Bryan going for the LeBell Lock quite early in the match shows that he is focused on retaining his briefcase anyway possible, but this match was never going to end that soon . I know Christian does do a few high flying dives out of the ring, but since he is heel I would have preferred it being Bryan who done the high flying, with maybe Christian dodging, and then hitting the reverse DDT. Good to see Christian focusing on the leg now, he’ll need to weaken the legs to get that Submission of his to work. Ramming it into the ring post would inflict a lot of pain and a good way to show Christian’s ruthless streak. Brutal shot from the chair on the leg, again showing how brutal Christian can get. Locking in the Cloverleaf at this time is a smart move, Bryan’s legs are pretty banged up, and realistically this should be over. The fact that Bryan made it too the ropes, you’ve shown that Bryan has a big heart and is determined to win this match and retain his briefcase, which shows he will be a World Champion some day. Nice way to end the match, countering the Killswitch into the LeBell Lock, could really picture that happening and happy that Bryan retained. Overall, this was a really good and well written match. It was a little short but I enjoyed it, it showed how ruthless Christian can get and how much heart and desire Bryan has. Good job.

WrestleMania? Long way away, but cannot wait to see how it shapes up.

See, this is where I think the Divas match should have placed. It would’ve gave the crowd a chance to calm down and recharge after two brutal matches, getting the crowd ready for the main event. But nonetheless, looking forward to this match. at Miz interrupting Roberts and bringing up the tie scenario. Chicken Crap? Sounded off in my head. Cena hitting a double clothesline really shows how strong the dude is, and what better two to be on the end than Awesome Truth. Spanish Announce table has no luck at PPV’s. Cena putting Del Rio through the table is a good way to take one man out of action for awhile, expect him to come back and pick up the win though. First elimination being R-Truth is a good choice, no way would he win the championship. Truth coming back into the match to help his team mate, after being eliminated really cements his heel status and will no doubt cause the fans to hate him even more. I knew Del Rio would come back and eliminate Cena, didn’t think it would be this soon though. The next few eliminations were expected and the match had some good action inbetween the eliminations. Nash getting involved was strange for me at first but I looked back at what transpired in real life between these two and it makes sense now. I knew Del Rio would win, he needed the win to cement his championship reign. Overall, think I preferred the SmackDown main event, but this was a solid match.

All in all, a solid PPV. Everything was forwarded pretty well, some interesting scenarios coming out of this as well. The matches for the most part were well written and you had a couple of segments which provided some relief from the action. Had a few gripes here and there, I’ve already mentioned them so I’m not going to mention them here. But yeah, solid PPV for your first one, and I’m already looking forward to RAW to see Del Rio’s championship reign continue and the Punk/Nash thing. Good job <3

Re: WWE 2011: Pushing the Boundaries

Night of Champions Review

Loved the WWE Divas Championship match between Kelly Kelly and Beth Phoenix opening up the show and Beth becoming the new WWE Divas Champion and hopefully with her as WWE Divas Champion, she will end up being champion until at least WrestleMania 28 setting up Beth Phoenix vs Kharma with Kharma making her return by Mania time

And I love how you advertised your next PPV for Hell In A Cell, and I hope for the HIAC PPV we actually get to see some excellent spots in Cell matches as well as getting to see blood and what not

Cody Rhodes not wanting Ted anywhere near this match, I can definitely see Ted turning on Cody later on or Cody ends up turning on Ted, either way I want to see DiBiase get pushed

Cody Rhodes retaining his WWE Intercontinental Championship against Sin Cara in what I thought was a great contest real back and forth where it could have been anyone's match-up, Cody comes out with the win and now Cody can restore the IC Title back to its former glory making the title mean something again like how it did in the early to mid 1990s

Regal getting a match with Cody and if he wins, he becomes the next #1 Contender for the IC Title, I hope Regal beats Rhodes on Smackdown

Kozlov and Santino becoming the new WWE Tag Team Champions by beating Otunga and Mcgillicutty, I loved it, and now I want to see Mcgillicutty break away from Otunga and become more of a singles star in the sense that I want to see Mcgillicutty get repackaged, send him back down to FCW and then bring him back under his real name of Joe Hennig, and give him the gimmick of being "The Perfect Son" giving him a gimmick similar to his father

Rey's interview heading into his match with Ziggler, loved it

Miz and Truth are a part of Big Johnny's security, they definitely deserve way better than that if anything, that is why I am hoping Awesome Truth ends up going for the WWE Tag Team Championships by facing Kozlov and Santino, but I have a feeling they are going to cost Punk

Ziggler retaining the WWE United States Championship against Rey in what I thought could have easily have been match of the night by far because of so many high-flying spots as well as so many counters and all of that good stuff just goes to show you that these 2 have chemistry in the ring but what was shocking was The Chosen One Drew McIntyre making his presence felt, making an impact by costing Rey the US Title by hitting the Future Shock DDT on Rey and then getting out of the ring with Vickie reviving the ref and Ziggler stealing the match, stealing the victory. Drew McIntyre is now going to be managed by Vickie but it will only be a matter of time before McIntyre lives up to his billing of being The Chosen One which means that he is in for a huge push and if he is, then I hope McIntyre ends up becoming a main eventer by the end of this year or into 2012 and then McIntyre can ditch Ziggler and Vickie

Mark Henry becoming the new World Heavyweight Champion, I can definitely see him becoming a dominant monster heel champion on Smackdown but my man Randy Orton should get a rematch considering he was the champion and was he even pinned? I don't think so, and I want to see Henry vs Orton inside Hell In A Cell but I can see Henry cutting a 15 years promo by saying how it took him 15 years to get to this point and how he is not going to lose his title anytime soon and that it is going to take another 15 years just to get this off of him

It was a little short but I enjoyed it, it showed how ruthless Christian can get and how much heart and desire Bryan has. Good job.

But I want to see Christian as a more ruthless heel in the sense that he becomes more vicious and aggressive in the ring but also that Christian becomes more of an Ultimate Opportunist type heel similar to how his best friend soon to be WWE Hall of Famer Edge was, but Bryan definitely I can see him cashing in his MITB soon but at which PPV will he cash in?

WrestleMania? Long way away, but cannot wait to see how it shapes up

Del Rio retaining the WWE Title cements his reign as not being a fluke and Nash getting involved again to cost Punk, I hope you have Nash stick around longer until at least WrestleMania 28, and maybe we will get to see Nash in your Royal Rumble Match for 2012 and maybe he can have a WrestleMania match against someone

Maybe we will get to see a new nWo being formed with Nash, Miz, Truth and hopefully a heel John Cena by having Cena turn heel and become like the new Hollywood Hogan of the WWE

Re: WWE 2011: Pushing the Boundaries

Night of Champions Review

Hey man you commented on my thread the other day and I've followed this one in the past so I figured I'd check out the Pay-Per-View and drop in a review. Overall the opening video package was well done and this show looks to be starting off a good note.

Interesting choice to the start off the show with Diva's Match. Not conventional at all since the Pay-Per-View usually starts off with a fun fast-paced action match. I feel the IC Title match would've been the way to go for this card. The match itself was fine, it was a Diva's Match and a good one but it wasn't an opener in my mind. Beth winning was no shock given the time period this is about when she's supposed to win and no BTB has ever kept Kelly as champion in the history of the world. So no suprises here other then the fact the match was here.

This Intercontinental Title match should've been the opener. It was very good, fun fast-paced. Everything you'd expect from a mid-card title match on a Pay-Per-View. It was fun the ending was expected with Rhodes cheating to beat the realitive upstart Sin Cara. I like the overall progression of this feud for you also. I felt like IRL they pushed Rhodes versus DiBiase too fast after Rhodes won the belt and the feud seemed really thrown together in forced. Making Sin Cara a contender but not actaully giving him the belt is good for his development at this stage in his career. I also like what you did with Regal post-match, that'll be a good filler feud we slowly progress to Rhodes-DiBiase with more things like Rhodes making Ted go to the back.

Tag Team Wrestling 101 was a term used in this match and that's what I would call it. It was nothing special but it was a good tag match. An interesting choice giving the belt to Santino and Kozlov. I guess they're better then McGillicuty and Otunga as a team who are two natural singles competitors once they left the Nexus. I also liked the way Cole hyped the tag division post match. I can live with this.

Nice Rey interview, you've really built up this feud nicely from what I've read with everything coming full circle on Ziggler failing to win the IC Title from Rey in 2009. Can't wait for that match later on tonight.

A short but effective segment by Punk, nice job. I'm hoping someone takes the belt from Del Rio but unfortunately the more I thought about the match the less likely that seems. I wish it would happen but I doubt it will.

The US Title match was everything I expected and more. The story progressed with some great spots of Ziggler trying and trying to finish Rey off to prove he can do it and then he takes the heelish way out of McIntrye coming in. Interesting choice to have McIntyre in the Vickie stable instead of Swagger like in real life at this time. I'm not sure how he seems as a fit but I'll guess we'll see as their feud with Rey will likely continue now.

The World Heavyweight Title match. Despite being a clusterfuck at times it was a very enjoyable cluster fuck. Everyone not named Khali came out looking very strong. Henry getting the belt suprised me as I thought Orton would retain since no else seemed ready for the belt but I'm fine with it on Henry he was a hot guy at this time period although I do hope you get the belt off him before he feuds with Big Show. I don't want to suffer through that like real life and the belt would need to be on a face like Sheamus or Orton for Wade Barrett to finally end up taking it. Sheamus looks the direction you're going and I'm fine with that as long as it's some kind of fight given their history. Overall though, fun match. Second best behind the US Title match.

Otunga and McGillicuty as secuirty gaurds? I feel like they will backfire and join forces with Big Johny..just a hunce.

As far as in ring action goes Christian and Bryan was a great match. And it was a great win for Bryan pushing on the road to becoming World Heavyweight Champion at Wrestlemania. I really liked the Bryan cashing in at Mania storyline and I hope you continue with it because it can be great if built right so keep on that. While this was a great match it got hurt by the submission match gimmick, I could never take Christian seriously as having a chance to submit Bryan. I wish this would've been a regular match. 3rd best match so far behind the US Title Match and the World Heavyweight Title match. Now onto our main event.

The promos before it were a good touch making Cena and Awesome Truth both look serious. I'll just go through the match in periods by the eliminations. Holy Super Cena early, he wants the title bad I can tell I love it and he wants a piece of the Awesome Truth. I like Del Rio going through the announce table early unfortunately I feel like that's how he's going to put out for a while so one can pin him. Super Cena taking out Truth right away is fine, he was never a serious contender for the belt. I also love the Cena elimination as R-Truth came back and knocked him out saving Miz and then Del Rio gets a little credibility stealing a pin. Nice work, Super Cena's pace couldn't keep for that long anyway so it's probably good you got him out of there with a dirty exit. Holy Kofi Kingston I noticed he was still in the match at this point since he was the first out jobber per usaul but he hadn't done much. Then he really brings it in his exchanges with Punk and Miz he looked great up until the point where Miz took him out. It also made Miz look good beating a hot guy. The rest of the match had great action with Punk getting royally screwed by Nash. I'm assuming they will face off at Hell in a Cell. Even though I don't know where that leaves Del Rio since we'll have Cena in something with Awesome Truth. I almost feel it would've been beneficial to take the belt off Del Rio here even though he would've looked like a joke but I just think it belongs elsewhere at this time. Oh well, fun match. One of the better ones of the night.

Overall a fun show. The start with a little meh with the Diva's match and the tag match. But the last four matches really picked up and took this to another level nice job. I'd end up saying the US Title Match was the match of the night the WWE Title match a close second. Overall a great job and I can't wait to see where you go from here
