Re: WWE 2011: Pushing the Boundaries

Thanks for all of the feedback for Raw, it is greatly appreciated Also, apologies for the minimal preview.

WWE Superstars
22 September 2011

Match One: Jinder Mahal, The Great Khali & Tyson Kidd vs The Usos & Yoshi Tatsu

In this odd 6 man tag team match it was the heel team that started off the match the best, making the best use of Khali's size against Tatsu which allowed Mahal & Kidd to quickly tag themselves in and out in order to isolate and weaken Tatsu down. Kidd started to get to work on Tatsu's legs which would make the Sharpshooter the obvious finish but Mahal was more concerned with working on the neck for the Camel Clutch. This led to some bickering which allowed Tatsu to get the tag into Jey Uso who cmae in and cleaned house straight away along with his brother. Khali was knocked off of the apron by the Samoan brothers and Kidd thought this match was a lost cause because of the differences between himself and Mahal so he thought best to leave. This left Mahal high and dry right into a Samoan Drop from Jimmy and then a Superfly Splash from Jey which got The Usos and Yoshi a big victory to open Supertars.

Winners: The Usos & Yoshi Tatsu

Match Two: Alex Riley vs JTG

In this rather one sided match, JTG was able to get some offence in right at the start but ahead of his United States Championship #1 Contender's match with Drew McIntyre on Raw, Riley was not going to be denied. After countering an attempted Cross Body from J', Riley was able to lift him up and plant him with the TKO for the victory.

Winner: Alex Riley

Match Three: Curt Hawkins & Primo vs Local Competitors

In the first match with these two together as a team, Primo and Hawkins showed some pretty good chemistry with a series of double team manoeuvres. At the end of the match Primo set up to hit the Backstabber on one of the jobbers but at the same time Hawkins came in with a huge lariat which left the poor amateur down for the count.

Winners: Curt Hawkins & Primo

Main Event: Heath Slater vs Sin Cara

Before the match Slater entered dressed in his usual rockstar/Guitar Hero gear and proclaimed himself to be the 'One Man Rock Band' and Sin Cara better forget about Night of Champions because tonight he has a real test. Once the match got started, Slater was able to take advantage when Cara tried to do a Moonsault and Slater pushed Sin Cara off of the top rope and into the barricade. This allowed Slater to get a period of control over the Mexican but his showing off cost him as Sin Cara started to battle back with kicks all over Slater's body before eventually flipping Heath off of the top rope with the C4.

Winner: Sin Cara

Re: WWE 2011: Pushing the Boundaries

Friday Night Smackdown
September 23rd, 2011
Blue Cross Arena – Rochester, New York

Much like Raw, Smackdown kicks off this week with stills from the Night of Champions event this past Sunday. In the first of three Smackdown exclusive matches Cody Rhodes retains his Intercontinental Championship against Sin Cara after using his plastic mask; and is shown holding the title high in the air afterwards. Christian and Daniel Bryan walk down to the ring for their Submission Match, and we see a couple of stills from during the match that show Christian hitting Bryan’s leg with a chair and then applying the Cloverleaf on Bryan, but Bryan is eventually able to get the LeBell Lock in and Christian taps out. Now finally we see the six combatants in the World Heavyweight Championship Six-Pack Challenge before the bell rings. Quick still images of memorable moments in that match most mainly Mark Henry ploughing Sheamus through the side of the stage and then both men taking turns to dominate the rest of the field afterwards. Sheamus hits a Brogue Kick on The Great Khali but Henry comes in to steal the pin. The VP ends with Henry holding his new title high up into the air. ‘Crash’ by Decyfer Down (New Smackdown theme, thanks Flux ) echoes around the Blue Cross Arena as the 13,000 fans in attendance are seen to be pumped for this post-Night of Champions edition of Smackdown. We are now treated to the voices of our 3-man announce team of Michael Cole, Booker T and the one and only Josh Matthews to welcome us.

Michael Cole: Ladies and Gentlemen, welcome to Friday Night Smackdown! I am Michael Cole, and alongside me are my two broadcast colleagues Booker T and Josh Matthews!

Josh Matthews: We are only five nights removed from the historic Night of Champions Pay-Per-View spectacular; where we have entered a new era on Smackdown!

Booker T: Da Mark Henry Era has begun dawgs! We even got some new music!

Michael Cole: We would like to thank Decyfer Down for ‘Crash’; it’s a great single and we’re proud to be using it for Friday Night Smackdown!

The fans let out a mixed reaction, leaning towards boos but there are some definite cheers mixed in from the older male members of the audience as the NEW World Heavyweight Champion MARK HENRY walks out onto the stage with his brand new title hanging over his shoulder as he slowly starts to walk down the ramp.

Booker T: Here he is! Dis man has waited fifteen years for dis; to become a champion!

Michael Cole: And just think how much sooner it could have been if he didn’t spend the last few years acting like a fool and trying to entertaining these idiots; Mark Henry realised that he is just a lot better at hurting people.

Josh Matthews: Well we’ve seen Henry be as destructive as any Superstar in history in these past few months; this past Sunday he put Sheamus through the side of the stage! He could have killed them both!

Michael Cole: In all of my years in this business I’ve never seen anything like that before! But what struck me was that both men were able to get back up and back into the match... with Henry winning the damn thing!

Smackdown’s brand new top man gets to the bottom of the ramp and he takes a deep breath before walking towards the steps slowly. A fan reaches out to try and touch Henry, but his hand brushes the championship and Henry turns around and starts shouting at the young man “EXCUSE ME DID YOU BEAT ME FOR THIS?! NO WELL DON’T TOUCH IT!” which gets a mixture of laughs and heat from the WWE Universe as said fan craps his pants. Henry trudges up the steps and he picks up a microphone that is rested on the top step. He gets into the ring and slowly walks to the centre of the ring. He raises his title high into the air to a mixed reaction with a smirk on his face as he lowers the belt back over his shoulder and adjusts it whilst he waits for the music and the fans to quieten down.

Mark Henry: Fifteen years... Fifteen damn years it has taken me to finally get to this point in ma career. Fifteen years of being someone’s bodyguard or being a joke to make all you people happy and finally... I’m happy.

The fans give a little heat for that comment.

Mark Henry: At Night o’ Champions I finally won the World Heavyweight Championship, so all of those years of bein’ a joke and tryin’ to make you people laugh have finally paid off because now I’m the top dog on Smackdown!

Henry is very forceful as he speaks; he seems relieved to have finally proved his point.

Mark Henry: I was putting all yo’ happiness in front of mine before... but now it’s ma turn! I’m happy as World Heavyweight Champion and I just dare anyone to try and take this title off of me; cos no one got a chance in hell o’ beating me!

Henry still smugly looks around the arena has he speaks.

Mark Henry: Five men tried to stop me this Sunday and they couldn’t; I beat dem all! Sheamus-

Henry is cut off by a big pop for the mention of The Celtic Warrior which causes him to frown a lot.

Quite loud booing around the arena as Henry is referring to the stage incident at Night of Champions.

Mark Henry: Every day he’s gon’ wake up and feel... pain! Every time he’s stepped into this ring with me Sheamus has got hurt; and Night o’ Champions was no diff’rent! I’ve inducted him into ma Hall of Pain three times now but he just can’t get enough! Hell, I’m jus’ not sure if he’s tough or stupid.

Henry now motions towards the stage.

Mark Henry: See those three boys dat are gonna fight each other t’night are signin’ themselves up for the beatin’ of their life inside dat Cell in nine night’s time! So I wouldn’t blame any of y’all for pullin’ out of dat match for the sake of not just your career... but yo life. The man that steps inside that Cell with me is goin’ straight into my Hall of Pain!

That is met by a mixed reaction from the fans as Henry now turns towards the direction which he came from.

Mark Henry: So how ‘bout it, boys? Sheamus, Bryan, Barrett? Any of you wanna come down here an’ admit dat you don’t wanna face me for this title?

A little sprinkling of heat for the new champion, but as expected none of the three potential number one contenders emerge.

Mark Henry: No one will-

There’s a pretty loud pop in the arena as it seems Rochester are fans of the Smackdown General Manager Theodore Long, who struts out onto the stage dressed in a ghastly brown suit that is about two sizes too big for him. He is wearing a smile on his face as he marches down to the ring with the World Champion looking confused as he stares his former manager approaching him.

Josh Matthews: Well this man is the Smackdown General Manager Theodore Long! He’s been under fire in recent week and he is being closely monitored by the WWE COO Triple H, and I just hope for Teddy’s sake that he isn’t being the bearer of bad news for Mark Henry or this could get ugly for our General Manager!

Michael Cole: Well I hope he is bringing some bad news; he deserves to get snapped in half for interrupting our brand new World Heavyweight Champion; what a show of disrespect!

Booker T: Aw just lighten up, Cole!

Long also grabs a microphone as he climbs up the steps and joins Henry in the ring. He makes sure he keeps a good distance away from Henry. Macmillitant fades out and Henry is kind enough to let Long speak first but he doesn’t look impressed by the GM’s presence.

Theodore Long: Mark, I just wanted to come out here and let you know that I’m proud of ya that ya finally got to tha top of tha tree, playa; if anyone deserves it it is you afta all of tha work and dedication you’ve put in over tha years... so congratulations, playa!

The fans give a mixed reaction as Henry just looks down his nose at Long who seemed to have been giving very sincere congratulations.

Theodore Long: But as I’m sure ya understand; I’ve got a show ta run and given recent circumstances I’ve gotta make Smackdown tha best it can be, and the best way I can do that is putting on great matches for tha WWE Universe!!

Long holds his arm out as he preaches to the fans that give him the customary cheap pop.

Theodore Long: That’s why I made tha main event for tonight’s show with Daniel Bryan (pop) taking on Wade Barrett (boos) going against Sheamus (MASSIVE POP; Henry looks angry) in a Triple Threat Match! And tha winner will face you for tha World Heavyweight Championship at Hell in a Cell in a Hell in a Cell Match!

A big pop for that from the Rochester crowd; Henry smiles as he is clearly looking forward to stepping inside the Cell.

Theodore Long: But there’s one thing about t’night’s main event that everyone has been askin’ be about all day... they all wanna know why I ain’t put one man in that match.

A little pop goes up in the arena as some fans click on to who Long is talking about.

Theodore Long: That man... is ‘Tha Viper’ Randy Orton!

A HUGE pop echoes around the arena, and Henry sniffs in disapproval.

Theodore Long: People have been askin’ me why Randy Orton isn’t getting another chance ta become number one contender... I’ll tell ya why, Mark! That is because Randy Orton is getting his rematch for the World Heavyweight Championship... RIGHT NOW!!

The fans go wild!! Long holds his arms in the air as Henry’s eyes go huge in true black man style as Long now motions towards the entrance ramp.

The roof almost blows off of the arena!! Wearing his “Security” T-shirt, RANDY ORTON walks out onto the stage with a pretty large smile on his face despite losing the World Heavyweight Championship last Sunday. He stares down Henry as he walks down the ramp slowly and Henry shakes his head. Long exits the ring and starts to walk up the ramp and he shakes hands with Orton as he passes him.

Michael Cole: Oh My! We’re going to have a World Heavyweight Championship match right now!!

Josh Matthews: It seems that the former World Heavyweight Champion Randy Orton is NOT scared of the new World Heavyweight Champion Mark Henry!

Booker T: Dis is what Friday Night Smackdown is all ‘bout, dawgs!

Josh Matthews: Theodore Long said the best thing he can do to keep his job is to put on exciting matches for the WWE Universe, and he is sure living up to that; our first match tonight is going to be for the World Heavyweight Championship! Wow!

Orton gets into the ring and he walks across it before mounting the turnbuckle and striking up the destiny pose as the camera sweeps around. Orton turns back and looks at Henry; the World’s Strongest Champion giving him a look of anger in return. The referee walks over to Henry tentatively and asks him to hand over the title, which Henry begrudgingly does, although he has an air of confidence about him as he seems ready for his first title defence. ‘Voices’ fades out and Orton walks back across to the other side of the ring to face Henry, and the referee raises the title high in the air to just signify that it is the title up for grabs in this match. Ref passes the title down to someone at ringside and calls for the bell! Let’s kick this huge match off!

Match One:
World Heavyweight Championship:
Mark Henry © vs Randy Orton

Henry walks into the centre of the ring straight away, and he beckons Orton to come and meet him but The Viper decides he wants to pace around the ring first to try and find a way around Henry. Orton tries going in to Henry, but he is able to dodge the big man’s grasp and retreat back to the safety of one of the corners. Henry once again calls for Orton to meet him in the centre of the ring. This time, Orton cautiously walks towards Henry... and leaps into action! Orton catches Henry out with a right hand to the side of the head that rocks the champion and Orton follows up with a stiff looking kick to the gut! Henry is knocked back a little after the couple of hard strikes from the former champion, and Orton now charges in... Only for Henry to knock him down with a forceful shoulder block! Orton falls right down to the mat after running into what must have felt like a brick wall, and The Viper instantly grabs his shoulder that was causing him problems in the build up to Night of Champions after that RKO on the concrete! Henry, like a shark to blood, instantly tries to zone in on the now injured Orton, but the former champion smartly rolls out of the ring and out of harm’s way to tend to the knock; Henry in pursuit as we go to commercial.

*Commercial Break*

We return from the break and we come right into a shot of Randy Orton’s face as he is being choked over the bottom rope by Henry! Henry has his boot on Orton’s upper back as the referee counts to five to break it up. We’re shown a replay of events that occurred during the break with Henry sending Orton into the steel ring post on the outside before chucking him like a missile into the steel steps. Henry lets his boot off of Orton’s back and the former champion desperately clasps for air as he can now breathe properly again. Henry starts to walk back across the ring under the referee’s instructions as Orton scrambles back up onto his knees, using the ropes... BUT HERE COMES HENRY-He crushes Orton’s neck across the middle rope and follows through all the way to the outside!! Orton almost falls through the ropes but he is left hanging across the middle rope. Henry looks smug at ringside, and he turns around and rocks Orton with a right hand to the side of the head!! Orton drops down onto the canvas in a heap after the strike and the champion now hops up onto the apron and goes back into the ring. The time taken for Henry to get into the ring allowed Orton to start getting back up to his feet and The Viper turns around as Henry waits behind him... and Henry floors Orton with a clothesline! The champion beats his chest as the fans pour down heat on him. Henry studies Orton as he lays flat in the centre of the ring. The champion runs against the ropes and he comes off looking for a LEG DROP-But Orton moves!! Henry lands right on the mat and he winces in pain, whilst Orton quickly springs up to his feet as quickly as he can and he comes in with a boot to Henry’s face!! Orton follows through with his boot that sends Henry down onto the mat. The fans pop as the challenger now rebounds off of the ropes himself and drops a knee right onto Henry’s face!! Henry holds his hands across his nose after that shot as he already starts to bring himself back up, and Orton is quick to come in with boots and punches to the recovering champion but Henry still fights through all of it and is still getting to his feet! Orton looks shocked and he is now staring Henry right in the face as the champion looks pissed off. Henry shoves Orton back, and The Viper rolls backwards after the push and he immediately charges at Henry but is met by a Big Boot!! Orton is rocked once again and now Henry goes in for the first cover of the match...One...Two-Orton kicks out!

A big pop rings around the arena as Orton shoots the shoulder up to stop the pinfall. Henry is right back up to his feet after that, and he quickly checks his nose for blood after the knee from Orton but there was nothing there. The champion bends down and grabs Orton, and he throws him up into the air and catches him... and plants him to the mat with a forceful Scoop Slam! Orton immediately goes to clinch his shoulder after the impact but he has no time to tend to it as Henry swiftly runs against the ropes and drops an emphatic elbow right across Orton’s chest!! Orton’s chest could be caved in! The fans start willing the challenger on with “LET’S GO ORTON!” chants as he starts to scramble towards the corner. Orton props himself up in the corner as he is looking like he could even be struggling for breath now at this point but HERE COMES HENRY!! OH!! The fans are devastated as the champion comes in with a HUGE Body Splash in the corner that sees Orton crushed up against the turnbuckle! Henry backs off and Orton starts to just stumble forwards, but it is right into the path of Henry... and the champion scoops his prey up- World’s Strongest Slam-NO!! Orton is able to slide off of Henry, but Henry pushes him right back against the ropes and he bends over; looking to catch Orton on the way back, but Orton comes in with a kick to the face!! Orton’s boot connects with Henry’s nose for a second time and the champion’s arms flail out to the side rather comically as Henry is stunned. Orton looks to capitalise by running against the ropes himself now and he goes for a Thesz Press on Henry... but Henry catches him!! The fans boo big time as Orton is in serious trouble because Henry has got him caught in a Bearhug!! Henry has a look of determination on his face as his tree-trunk like arms are wrapped around Orton’s waist like a vice! Orton groans in pain at the predicament he is in as he tries to push Henry’s arms away but he is of course unable to do so. Henry is smiling and he shouts “YOU AINT MOVING THESE ARMS, BOY!” before he screws his face up and tightens the Bearhug in even more. The WWE Universe continues with the “LET’S GO ORTON” stuff, and The Viper seems desperate to find a way out of the hold. Henry still has the hold locked in extremely tightly, and the commentators notice now that Orton is FADING! The Viper is FADING! Orton’s head drops down slightly and his arms stop moving as much as it seems that all of the force he was trying to use to escape the hold has diminished, and the referee is now left with no choice but to try and see if Orton has gone. Orton shakes his head that he doesn’t want to give up.

The fans pop as suddenly Orton starts to come back to life – he’s getting a second wind! The challenger’s head suddenly rears up and the camera reveals a fire in Orton’s eyes as he now brings his right arm up and rocks Henry in the head with a jab! Henry is unfazed as Orton now goes for another one- but still Henry is not budging! Orton now places both of his hands right onto Henry’s head... and Headbutts him right in the nose!!! This causes Henry to immediately break the hold and Orton drops down; he lands on his feet but drops to his knees as he grabs his ribs after suffering the duration of that hold. Henry is still focused on his nose, and he doesn’t see Orton spring up in front of him and Orton uses all remaining energy to leap into the air and catch Henry with a dropkick to the face!! The champion is knocked back into the ropes as Orton now feeds off of the crow d and defiantly gets up to his feet. He cracks his neck slightly and marches towards the champion and grabs him around the neck! Orton uses his other arm to pull Henry around and he manages to throw Henry’s legs out onto the apron!! Orton now uses all of his strength to pull Henry towards the ring... He holds him up.... and drops Henry with a Rope Hung DDT!!! The fans are going wild as Orton uses all of his power once again to turn Henry over and he hooks the giant leg! One...Two...Thr-NO!! Henry keeps his title safe and Orton holds his head in his hands!

The momentary disappointment doesn’t last long however as Orton slowly gets back up to his feet as Henry is stirring... and there is only one thing on The Viper’s mind! Orton sinks down into the canvas and he starts to viciously pound it as Henry starts to get back to his feet slowly after taking a battering to his face. Orton is basically foaming at the mouth now as he waits on Henry to get back up. Henry is up to one knee and Orton and the crowd wills him on... Henry finally gets up and Orton is right there! RKO-NO!! Henry was taking his time on purpose as he used the chance to recover and he stops Orton and shoves him shoulder first into the turnbuckle!! Orton screams in pain as he stumbles back out of the corner following the impact and right back into Henry’s path!! Henry scoops him up and plants him with the WORLD’S STRONGEST SLAM!! There is total silence from the crowd as Henry hooks up Orton’s leg and the referee counts! One...Two...Three!!

Winner and STILL World Heavyweight Champion: Mark Henry (18.31)

There's a mixed reaction from the fans as Henry gets back up to his feet with a relieved grin on his face following his first successful title defence against the former champion. He is handed his title by the official and has his arm raised high in the air as his championship rests on the other shoulder.

Josh Matthews: Wow... Randy Orton is one of the toughest Superstars in WWE History and Mark Henry just made mince meat out of him!

Booker T: Mark Henry is gonna be World Hea'yweight Champion fo' a long time if he carries on like dis... he's unstoppable, dawg.

Michael Cole: Well there is Mark Henry's first defence of the World Heavyweight Championship, but we know that the next one is going to be in nine nights time at Hell in a Cell. We also know that his opponent will be decided in tonight's huge main event! We're going to see Wade Barrett take on Sheamus and Daniel Bryan in a Triple Threat Match!

Booker T: Well we've never seen Mark Henry inside Hell in a Cell before but I can imagine it aint gon' be pretty! Haha!

Orton is still down on the mat as the referee is down there checking on him. Henry backs up the ramp, looking out onto the WWE Universe and shouts "Y'ALL BETTER GET USED TO THIS SIGHT!" and he raises his title high into the air to a mixed reaction from the fans; Henry is winning over some of these fans with his performances it seems. The World's Strongest Champion turns around and heads to the back as we fade out for commercial.

*Commercial Break*
We’re backstage for the first time tonight and we see the Smackdown General Manager Theodore Long talking to some random backstage workers. Teddy seemingly doesn’t realise the camera is on him and carries on with his conversation until...

???: HEY! Teddy! I need to talk to you!

Long looks shocked and he turns around... it’s Christian! ‘The Saviour of Smackdown’ looks rather irate and Long quickly apologizes and excuses himself from the workers.

Theodore Long: Playa, you can’t just-

Christian: Be quiet, and listen to me. I’m the saviour of this show; I’m the Saviour of Smackdown, a former World Heavyweight Champion and to put it simply the best damn wrestler on this show... so why aren’t I not in the main event tonight? Why can’t I be number one contender?

Christian gives Long a long, hard stare but the GM remains stoic; Long’s face quickly transitions into a smile to a decent pop.

Theodore Long: Christian... you aint in that match because you aint done nothin’ to deserve it! Wade Barrett, Sheamus and Daniel Bryan-

Christian: Daniel Bryan? Daniel Bryan doesn’t deserve anything! He’s taken my spot and I want... it... back.

The Canadian is quite angry now, and Long still remains calm.

Theodore Long: Well, he made yo’ ass tap out at Night o’ Champions; I think yo’ spot is gone. Holla Holla!

There’s a loud cheer in the arena as Christian’s face lights up like he’s just been shot in the arse and Long walks off leaving a very, very disgruntled Christian fuming. The workers that Long were talking to beforehand are seen giggling in the background which only causes Christian to get even angrier as we now fade away...

Back into the arena and we can see Percy Watson standing alongside his tag team partner Titus O’Neill in the ring. Watson is kind of shuffling around shouting “OH YEAH” to O’Neill’s amusement and the big man holds his arms up in the air and barks like a dog in return. Both are dressed to compete but it is Watson that is in singles competition tonight. All attention now turns to the Titantron however...

The fans let out a large cheer as Justin Gabriel jobs out from behind the curtain and he leaps up unto the air and lands in a crouched position - a burst of pyro shoots upwards from either side of the stage as he lands!! This causes the cheers to grow even louder for the South African, who looks up and smiles before walking down to the ring, slapping hands with fans down the aisle as he does.

Booker T: Aww boy, its ma favourite time of da show now! Ma boy Justin Gabriel is in da house, dawg! Haha, I wanna see dat four-fiddy splash; it’s off da chain!

Josh Matthews: Folks, Booker is getting excited for good reason; Justin Gabriel has been impressing everyone for the past few weeks with dazzling victories on Smackdown; and he even defeated Heath Slater in the Night of Champions Pre-Show this past Sunday, but tonight he faces another NXT Alumni, ‘Showtime’ Percy Watson!

Michael Cole: Percy Watson is no slouch; he knows what it takes to win a match here on Smackdown, but winning is all Justin Gabriel has been doing these past few weeks!

Josh Matthews: As Booker eluded to before, the four-fifty splash finishing manoeuvre from Justin Gabriel is one hell of a sight; if you haven’t seen it before you are missing out.

Gabriel steps into the ring through the ropes and he immediately mounts the turnbuckle and nods his head along to his theme music; looking to get his 7th win in a row since Summerslam. He jumps down and turns to face his opponent and he gives Watson a knowing nod as the referee asks Titus to leave the ring. Gabriel’s music fades out and he approaches the centre of the ring as the referee calls for the bell.

Match Two:
Justin Gabriel vs Percy Watson
w/ Titus O’Neill

The bell rings and Watson starts to walk towards Gabriel, and just when it looks like both men are about to lock up, Watson holds his hand in front of Gabriel and asks him to wait so Gabriel does... and Watson shouts “OH YEAH!” and does a little jig in front of a confused and focused Gabriel. Watson nods his head now and says “Okay, I’m ready now! I’m feelin’ it!” before he approaches Gabriel and the two men lock up. Percy actually gets the better of it and he sends Gabriel into the corner with an Irish Whip and follows him in quickly, but Gabriel sees Watson coming and he floats over, causing Watson to quickly have to stop in his tracks to avoid the turnbuckle. Watson now charges in at the South African but Gabriel catches him with a deep Arm Drag!! Watson is back up to his feet and he has his back bent after the move and he starts to back right into the corner on the other side of the ring. Watson shakes the cobwebs out a little as Gabriel now comes charging in and he lands a Flying Forearm right to Watson’s face!! Percy lulls in the corner for a second and then drops down to the mat right onto his face.

Gabriel holds his arm up in the air to a decent pop from the fans as he is now waiting on Watson to get back to his feet. O’Neill starts banging his fists against the ring apron to try and inspire his partner to get going in this match. Watson gets up to his feet once again and Gabriel comes in, looking for a clothesline, but Watson ducks it! Gabriel carries on right towards the turnbuckle and Percy comes in with a knee to Gabriel’s back!! Gabriel screams in pain after that shot as now Showtime starts to work away on Gabriel’s lower back with clubbing forearm blows that causes Gabriel to wince in pain with every shot. Percy is now quick to turn Gabriel around and bring him out of the corner. He hooks his head under Gabriel’s arm and takes him over with a Snap Suplex! Gabriel’s back arches on the canvas after the impact but instead of following up, it seems Watson wants to... dance? Showtime starts to strut his stuff with a little shuffling kind of move to the annoyance of some of the fans but there still are a fair few members of the WWE Universe enjoying Watson’s antics. Watson finishes off his little jig with another “OH YEAH!” and a cheesy grin. He turns around to follow up on Gabriel-BAM!! Super Kick from Gabriel!! Watson is out like a light and drops flat down on his back and now the fans cheer extremely loudly as Gabriel gets up to his feet, not really feeling the effects of Watson’s minimal offence and he starts to walk towards the corner! Gabriel climbs up the turnbuckle as Titus has his head in his hands and Gabriel is now standing on the top rope; ready and waiting in position... 450 SPLASH!!! Gabriel favours his stomach as usual after the impact but he’s quickly into the cover on Watson! One...Two...Three!!!

Winner: Justin Gabriel (3.45)

The fans cheer loudly as Gabriel gets up to his feet and Watson rolls out of the ring. O’Neill is not there to help his partner though as he has a microphone! Everyone focuses on Titus as he speaks.

Titus O’Neill: Yo! Hey! Cut the music!

The music stops to reveal a mixed reaction from the crowd. Gabriel holds his stomach as he looks at O’Neill climbing up the steps into the ring.

Titus O’Neill: Great win, Justin; I know Percy is a tough competitor. But I have an idea... why don’t you put yo’ money where yo’ mouth is and how about you go one-on-one with The Big Dog Titus O’Neill right now? What d’ya say?

The fans start to cheer pretty loudly and Gabriel looks a bit unsure.

Titus O’Neill: Justin, I think these fans wanna see dat!

After another loud cheer, Gabriel looks around and he nods his head... we’re going to have another match right now! Watson gets up at ringside looking a little worse for wear with his glasses out of place but he claps anyway. The referee takes the microphone from O’Neill and hands it down to someone at ringside and he calls for the bell once again!!

Match Three:
Justin Gabriel vs Titus O’Neill
w/ Percy Watson

The bell rings again and this time Gabriel is faced with the bigger half of the Watson/O’Neill tag team, and has just finished a match himself. Titus nods his head at the fans, but they reply with a “GAB-RIEL” chant. The two men go to lock up, and O’Neill’s strength advantage comes into play as he grabs Gabriel by the shoulders and forces him down into the mat face-first that causes the South African some discomfort. O’Neill now quickly runs against the ropes and lets out a huge dog bark and drops a huge elbow right down across Justin’s lower back!! The commentators note that Titus is picking up right from where Watson left off by working on the lower back area of Gabriel. The Big Dog now lifts Gabriel back up to his feet and he grabs him by the arm and whips him across the ring into the corner with all of the force he can possibly create and Gabriel’s back goes right into the corner! Gabriel stumbles out but Titus is there to meet him and scoop him up... and he drops him with a Sidewalk Slam!! O’Neill stays in position and he hooks Gabriel’s inside leg up! One...Two...Gabriel kicks out!

There’s a nice response to that kick out from the fans and O’Neill is right back up to his feet. He starts to jump on the spot and shake his head to pump himself up as Gabriel starts to get back up to his feet slowly, and when he does, O’Neill comes charging in and he lifts Gabriel up and runs him right into the corner back-first!! Gabriel yelps out in pain once again as Titus now walks back and into the opposite corner before turning around and going to squash Gabriel- but Justin gets the boot up!! O’Neill staggers back and Gabriel backs himself up onto the second rope behind him... and he leaps off; knocking Titus down with a Flying Clothesline!!! The big man drops to his back and Gabriel dives on top for the cover! One...Two...Titus kicks out! Gabriel is undeterred however as he stumbles up towards the corner again and he begins to scale the turnbuckle whilst O’Neill is down in the centre of the ring! This brings the fans to life as Gabriel must be thinking to finish this one off as early as the last match. Gabriel gets up to the top rope, but Titus leaps into action! He was playing possum! O’Neill storms towards Gabriel and he grabs him... and throws him off of the top rope back into the ring!! Gabriel flips over in mid-air and lands hard on his back!! Titus starts to bark like a dog once again and he is quick to go down and lock in a rear chinlock on Gabriel; driving his knee into the South African’s back as he does.

The fans start to rally behind Gabriel once again by chanting his name loudly. The commentators put over how Titus has done a much better job than Watson in neutralizing Gabriel, but Booker starts to get excited as he sees that Gabriel is fighting the hold! Gabriel manages to grab O’Neill’s arms and he pulls them apart and Titus has a look of shock on his face! Gabriel now rolls back and places his feet on O’Neill’s chest and rolls forward; executing a Monkey Flip on the big man! Titus gets back to his feet and he holds his back now after taking that bump. Gabriel comes in and meets him with a Savate Kick to the midsection that doubles O’Neill over and Gabriel now follows up with a Snapmare on the big man! Good strength from Gabriel and rebounds off of the ropes and creams Titus in the face with a Low Dropkick!! The fans pop as Gabriel is now into the cover! One...Two...Thr-Titus saves himself!! Gabriel is shocked as he thought he’d gotten the win then but he gets right back up as quickly as he can due to his back hurting. O’Neill is right back up to his feet after that flurry from Gabriel. Gabriel is first to the punch with a forearm to the side of Titus’ head, and now Gabriel charges into the ropes and comes back... Right into a Sitting Spinebuster from O’Neill!! Gabriel is planted by that huge move and now Titus with the pin! One...Two...Thre-NO!! Another massive pop greets that kick out and now O’Neill gets in the referee’s face! The ref says it was only two but O’Neill isn’t happy.... but here’s GABRIEL WITH THE ROLL UP!! One!! Two!! Three!!!

Winner: Justin Gabriel (5.27)

HE DID IT!! Gabriel sits up with his arms raised in victory as he seems pretty shocked himself. O’Neill on the other hand looks confused as anything as he looks around the arena and finally pounds his fist against the mat in frustration that he was caught out. Watson slides into the ring, still smarting a little bit from his whipping by Gabriel but he comes to console his partner as Gabriel has his arm raised by the referee for the second time tonight.

Michael Cole: Oh My! What a fantastic night’s work for Justin Gabriel! I don’t usually agree with you two about anything but I’ll admit that this kid has a bright future as a singles star here on Smackdown.

Josh Matthews: It isn’t often that WWE Superstars compete twice in one night, even rarer that they win both matches but Gabriel brushes aside Percy Watson and a pretty impressive-looking Titus O’Neill!

Booker T: We saw dat four-fiddy splash against Watson – HEY! WHAT DA HAYELL?!

Booker is furious as now GABRIEL IS JUMPED FROM BEHIND BY WATSON AND O’NEILL!!! The crowd instantly boo the duo as they look to get a measure of revenge on Gabriel by knocking him down and laying into him with vicious boots to the back and the head! Everyone is crying out for a saviour now as Gabriel has no defence to these two men on him like a pack of dogs. O’Neill starts to direct traffic and he orders for Watson to bring Gabriel up and Percy lifts up the limp body of the South African. Titus starts to bark like a dog again to some quite loud heat now, and Watson sends Gabriel into O’Neill’s path and he deals out another sick Spinebuster!! Gabriel is out but now Watson starts to head over to the top rope! Watson gets on top of the turnbuckle nearest the ramp and he steadies himself... but he’s shoved off by JOHNNY CURTIS!!! The fans go wild as FIGHTING FOR FREEDOM HAVE COME TO SAVE THE DAY!! Watson lands in the ring in a heap as now Johnny Curtis and Derrick Bateman start to take it to Titus O’Neill!! Titus has no counter for the two freedom-fighters and they’re able to overpower him and send the big man packing over the top rope!! The crowd go wild as now Bateman points towards Watson and the crowd erupt! The Prince of Justice now picks Percy up and he hooks his head underneath his arm... and drops him with a BRAINBUSTER!!! Watson is out after the impressive move and now Curtis starts to scale the turnbuckle!! The fans all wait in anticipation and Curtis stands straight up on the top rope. He leaps off and scores with a DIVING LEG DROP across Watson’s neck!! Curtis leaps back up to his feet to a massive reaction from the WWE Universe! The two men who are ‘not Superheroes’ now go and help Gabriel back up to his feet.

(it's just a metal remix of the Superman theme.)

Josh Matthews: What an impact made by Fighting for Freedom! They might claim not to be superheroes but they really saved the day for Justin Gabriel!

Booker T: Did you see all of dat! Dat was off the chain, dawg!

Michael Cole: Well I don’t know what these two goons were doing out here! Justin Gabriel could’ve fought them off by himself!

Gabriel gratefully accepts the helping hand back up to his feet and he shakes both the hands of Curtis and Bateman before Fighting for Freedom raise the arms of the South African who must be ecstatic with two victories in one night. Watson has now joined O’Neill on the ramp and both men are sitting down licking their wounds looking extremely annoyed at the men in the ring after a bad night across the board. Smackdown heads off to another commercial with the parting shot being three of the blue brand’s up and coming stars standing tall in the ring.

*Commercial Break*
Backstage once more after the break and we’re once again with the man that is just popping up everywhere at the moment... that’s right; it’s Matt Striker! He is as enthusiastic as ever and he’s got hold of his trusty microphone as usual.

Matt Striker: Ladies and Gentlemen, my guest at this time is a man that everything is going right for him at the moment. He is Smackdown’s very own Mr Money in the Bank, he defeated Christian at Night of Champions this past Sunday and tonight he has the chance to go to Hell in a Cell and compete for the World Heavyweight Championship... I give you Daniel Bryan.

With that, a loud pop erupts within the Blue Cross Arena to greet Daniel Bryan entering the interview area, with his briefcase in tow.

Matt Striker: Daniel, I know that you have that Money in the Bank Contract that entitles you to a World Heavyweight Championship Match any time you wish but how do you feel about getting the chance to win the title from Mark Henry at Hell in a Cell in nine night’s time.

Daniel Bryan: That’s a good question Matt... I know I’ve said before that I’m going to wait until Wrestlemania Twenty-Eight until I cash in this briefcase and I still intend on doing that... if tonight doesn’t go as planned.

Bryan gives Striker a smirk.

Daniel Bryan: I know some people might see it as cheating but if I win tonight I’m going to go to Hell in a Cell and I’m going to become the World Heavyweight Champion.

A nice pop meets that statement from Bryan.

Daniel Bryan: I know I’ve rightfully earned my place in the match tonight because I made Christian tap out to the LeBell Lock at Night of Champions.

Another, louder pop this time.

Daniel Bryan: Y’see I knew that when I won this briefcase I was going to be a target for anyone desperate for the chance to become the World Heavyweight Champion; which is just about everyone in this locker room.

Bryan now holds the briefcase up into the camera shot.

Daniel Bryan: And I will fight through the entire locker room if I have to because this briefcase represents all of the years of blood, sweat and tears that I have poured into the wrestling business and this briefcase is the key to me achieving my dream.

Bryan is getting very passionate right about now.

Daniel Bryan: I know that because I won this at Money in the Bank that I am now only months away from realising my dream and becoming the World Heavyweight Champion at Wrestlemania!

Now with a full blown smile on his face, Bryan turns to Matt for one final question.

Matt Striker: So Daniel, any particular strategy tonight when you face Sheamus and Wade Barrett?

Daniel Bryan: Strategy? Haha, my strategy is simple, Matt. Sheamus, Barrett... tonight you have two choices; TAP or SNAP!

The fans join in with the last bit and the closing line leaves Striker with a smile on his face as well as Bryan leaves the shot and our camera ventures off somewhere else...

And into the office of the Smackdown General Manager Teddy Long; he gets a pretty good pop from the fans after he destroyed Christian earlier on in the show. As for now he is just sitting at his desk reviewing some paperwork and signing some cheques. That is until there is a knock on the door. Long starts to quickly finish up what he was doing as the door to the office opens. Long looks up at who enters the office and he beams up at them as he rises to his feet. The camera turns slightly to reveal that it was in fact Kelly Kelly and Eve that had entered the office! Kelly looks a little down-hearted after what has been a terrible week for her but Eve is all smiles.

Theodore Long: Ladies! What can I do for you?

Eve looks at Kelly as if it is now her cue to speak but the blonde doesn’t and Eve is forced to nudge her friend and that prompts Kelly to lift her head up; we can see that she is still quite upset.

Kelly Kelly: Teddy... we came here to find out what I could do... to earn a Divas Championship Match.

This is greeted by a decent pop from the fans that are all on Kelly’s side tonight. Long looks confused, however.

Theodore Long: Kelly, what d’ya mean, hunny? You are the former champion; you already have a rematch whenever ya want one.

Kelly Kelly: No, Teddy... you don’t understand. I don’t feel like I deserve a rematch after Night of Champions... after what Beth Phoenix did to me.

Kelly now lifts her head up again and looks right at Long.

Kelly Kelly: I want to earn it.

Theodore Long: Well, Kelly, at this moment you are tha number one contender but if that’s how ya feel I’m sure I can find ya an opponent-

???: How about me?

That question was asked with some serious attitude and the cameras turn to the door again and The Bella Twins are standing there looking in; obviously interested in this conversation.

Theodore Long: I’m sorry, but which one of you said that?

That is met by laughs from Eve and the fans but a look of anger from the twins.

Brie Bella: It was me, Brie. We were just walking past and we happened to hear your conversation and I think that we have a solution for your little problem.

Brie now hands over to her sister.

Nikki Bella: Brie is a former Divas Champion as well... and when Kelly beat her for the Divas title she never got her rematch.

Brie Bella: And now I want it back. So Kelly, what do ya say?

Kelly tries to avoid any eye contact or confrontation with the Bellas as she shies away a little.

Eve: Kelly says yes; we’ll see you out there... girls.

Eve gives the Bellas a smirk after that comment and the Bellas can’t help but grin after they got what they wanted; the twins then leave. Eve now turns to Kelly.

Eve: I’m gonna go down there with you to stop them from trying any of their tricks... we all know what those two are like.

Kelly nods before Eve puts her arm around her which causes Kelly to crack a smile and Eve to smile even more that she has cheered her friend up. They both wave to Teddy before leaving the office; the GM now happy that one more issue is resolved. We’re going away from here now and backstage once again!

This time to a corridor backstage. The fans in the arena EXPLODE with cheers as on the screen is none other than The Viper himself, Randy Orton! Orton holds that troublesome shoulder in some pain after going through over 15 minutes with Mark Henry earlier. Orton winces as he walks along to presumeably the doctor’s room but he suddenly stops in his tracks and his face turns from pain to pure anger as he glares at the person in his way. The mystery is however soon solved as Wade Barrett steps into the shot, looking smugly at Orton.

Wade Barrett: Unlucky out there earlier, Randy; it is a shame that it won’t be you that I beat at Hell in a Cell for the World Heavyweight Championship.

Orton doesn’t give Barrett eye contact as the Englishman smugly carries on.

Wade Barrett: You know? Because that is what I’m going to do. I’m going to stop the monstrous reign of Mark Henry right before it even gets started. The one thing that you were unable to do tonight.

Again, Orton doesn’t rise to it.

Wade Barrett: I don’t even know why everyone is still calling you ‘The Viper’ anyway, Randy...

Orton’s ear perks up a little after that comment from Barrett as it seems that now he is interested.

Wade Barrett: Because I remember cutting ‘The Viper’s head off a few weeks back. But don’t worry because I’ve thought of a new name for you, Randy... The Worm.

Orton now turns his head slowly at Barrett who loves every second of this.

Wade Barrett: That’s right, Randy; The Worm. You are a parasite that does not belong on the surface with people like me; you belong underground where no one can see you.

Barrett looks cockily at Orton, satisfied with himself.

Randy Orton: I suggest that you... get out of my way.

Wade Barrett: Oh really, Randy? What? Are you hearing voices? You know what? You’re a joke, Orton. You aren’t even worth a second of my time. I’ll see you around... ‘champ’.

With that Barrett goes to leave but as he does he heavily ‘pats’ Orton on the bad shoulder!! Orton crumples down a little bit and Barrett is smiling once again as Smackdown now heads off to a commercial break with the last image being Randy Orton in pain as he clasps his shoulder.
*Commercial Break*

Back into the arena now following the series of backstage segments during the last part. The fans are now all in a state of anticipation as all eyes now return to the stage.

There’s a loud amount of heat in the arena as now the Intercontinental Champion Cody Rhodes comes out onto the stage trying to hide his face that is behind that classic see-through mask. Alongside him is Ted DiBiase, and it seems that Ted is allowed to be there tonight after being dismissed by Cody at Night of Champions. DiBiase doesn’t bother playing to the crowd tonight as he is 100% focused on not allowing Cody to lose this match.

Josh Matthews: Well if you ask me, Cody Rhodes should not be the Intercontinental Champion right now as he screwed Sin Cara out of the title at Night of Champions.

Michael Cole: Well we don’t know if Sin Cara would have gone on to win the match but Rhodes did use that mask as a weapon this past Sunday night to retain the Intercontinental Championship.

Booker T: He shouldn’t even be wearin’ dat mask, dawg!

Michael Cole: He had facial reconstruction surgery earlier this year; of course he needs to wear the mask!

Rhodes motions for DiBiase not to get into the ring which causes Ted to look a little downtrodden but DiBiase suppresses that feeling and does as he is told. Rhodes gets into the ring and he seemingly hates all the attention being on him as he removes his jacket. He looks out disapprovingly at the crowd as they let their feelings be known to him. He passes the title down to DiBiase but tells Ted to give it to the timekeeper... the lack of trust apparent.

There is a much, much better reaction from the fans now as the irreplaceable William Regal briskly walks out onto the stage, adorned in an elegant purple robe over his wrestling trunks. He looks focused on Cody Rhodes as he is desperate to get his hands on Rhodes after what happened in the lead up to Night of Champions; the tag team victory last week with Sin Cara not enough for the Englishman.

Michael Cole: Why does a veteran like William Regal feel like he has to go and whine to Teddy Long if he wants a shot at the Intercontinental Championship?

Josh Matthews: Well he did team with Sin Cara last week to beat Cody Rhodes and Ted DiBiase, he is a former King of the Ring as well as a former two-time Intercontinental Champion in his own right. William Regal is an accomplished wrestler and one of the longest-serving active Superstars in the WWE today.

Booker T: Dat’s right, William Regal aint no pushover. He can beat you a hundred diff’rent ways if you let him.

Michael Cole: I don’t think a hundr-

Booker T: Well I’d liek to see you step in there with Regal, Cole. You can find out fo’ yo’self if ya like.

Regal climbs up onto the apron before doing that spin. He wipes his feet as usual before getting into the ring and when he does he quickly shakes the robe off and places it down over the top rope. He just shakes his hands out as he has no time for any theatrics ahead of this important match. With everything in order, the referee calls for the bell!

Match Four:
If William Regal wins he will become the number one contender for the Intercontinental Championship;

Intercontinental Champion Cody Rhodes w/ Ted DiBiase vs William Regal

Regal immediately darts for Cody as soon as the bells rings and Rhodes quickly leaps towards the ropes and goes in between them so the referee comes over and stops Regal from getting any further. Regal is frustrated already and the ref tells Rhodes to get out of the ropes and into the match. Cody gives the official a dirty look before tentatively walking towards the ready Regal. Regal raises his hand up as he goes for the slower approach and initiates the lock up with Rhodes. Cody starts to slowly raise his hand before he kicks Regal right in the gut out of nowhere! Regal doubles over and Cody starts to pound away with hard forearms on Willy’s back that start to knock Regal down to size. Cody even grabs Regal’s hair and pulls him right into a Maskbutt to the back of the head!! Regal drops down to the mat holding his head after that brutal shot and Cody is quick to get the cover in... One...Two...Regal kicks out!! A pop rings around the Blue Cross Arena and now Cody looks to stay on the offence as he backs into the ropes and comes back forwards looking for a knee to the face... but Regal moves! Cody’s exposed knee crashes against the mat and Rhodes screams out in a little pain and he has no escape as now Regal is back up to his feet! Regal storms towards Rhodes and grabs his leg before laying it on the mat and stomping right onto Cody’s knee! Cody grabs it and shouts out and starts to back himself into the ropes but the referee does not call for the roepbreak this time. Cody backs up so that he is sitting on the apron but Regal grabs him and pulls him through back into the ring! Regal bends Cody over and starts to drive his knees right into Cody’s chest and he drops Rhodes down afterwards, leaving the IC champion in some pain as he struggles for breath.

Cody begins to crawl away and into the turnbuckle as Regal points at DiBiase at ringside; telling him not to get involved this time. Cody is up against the turnbuckle and Regal grabs him by the hair and delivers a measured punch right to the top of the head. Regal now holds Cody’s head back and gives the champion a Knife Edge Chop that light’s Rhodes’ chest up!! Cody is in visible pain, and the referee pulls Regal out of the corner and Rhodes stumbles forwards towards Regal... right into a European Uppercut that floors Cody! Regal is now quickly down for the cover...One...Two...Cody kicks out this time! Regal is quick to grab Cody by the hair once again and lift him back up to his feet. He goes behind Cody and hooks his arms around the champion’s head... and plants him with a scintillating Half-Nelson Suplex!! Rhodes crumples up on the canvas as Regal gets up to his feet with a broad grin, and he shouts “COME ON!” to fire up the crowd. Regal now walks towards the corner as Rhodes gets up to his feet... and Regal removes the knee pad!! The fans pop as Matthews lets us know that this means a Knee Trembler is coming up... but DiBiase is on the apron! This catches the referee’s attention as well as Regal’s, as the Englishman tries to get DiBiase but he can’t as Ted jumps down. Regal turns around towards the ring and he is knocked down by a knee lift to the face from Cody Rhodes!! This move only knocks Regal back a little but Willy turns around and Cody gets the Double Legs up... and plants Regal with an Alabama Slam!!! Regal holds the back of his head in pain as Cody hooks the leg!! One...Two...Thr-Regal keeps his chances alive!

Rhodes is shocked as his mask lets us see his full facial expression after Regal kicked out of that and the death glare is aimed fully at DiBiase after that one. Regal starts to get up to his feet and Cody springs up also. Rhodes stalks Regal from behind and once the Blueblood is up to his feet Cody comes from behind and he tries to hook Regal up for the Cross Rhodes... but Regal is able to get out of it! Regal quickly goes behind Cody and he hooks him up quickly... and drops him with a sick REGALPLEX!!! The fans mark out big time for the deadly looking move and Regal bridges into the cover!! One...TWO...THREE-NO!! Rhodes manages to wriggle out at the last second and both men lay down on the mat after that one as it took as much out of Regal to hit it as it did to Rhodes to take it. The fans break out into a “REGAL” chant as both Regal and Rhodes start to go to opposite corners in order to get to their feet. Both men get up and stare across the ring at each other Regal starts to walk towards the centre of the ring and he invites Rhodes to join him again. Cody slowly walks towards the centre of the ring towards Regal and the two men START TO BEAT THE SHIT OUT OF EACH OTHER!!

The two men trade rapid right and left hands as the fans roar their approval. The ovation gets even louder as it appears that Regal is starting to get the better of it! Regal rocks Cody with forearms that put him into the ropes and he whips Rhodes across the ring and looks to meet him with a Back Body Drop but Rhodes drops down and nails Regal with an Uppercut to the face in true Goldust fashion! Regal is knocked back down onto his arse from the move and Rhodes gets up to his feet as he is fully focused on finishing this match off now. Regal is up to a knee and Rhodes starts to steady himself... before running towards the ropes and springboarding back into the ring and cracking Regal in the face with a Beautiful Disaster Kick!! Regal falls flat on his back after that and once again Cody is desperately into the cover...One...Two...THREE-NO!! REGAL WILL NOT BE DENIED TONIGHT!! There were many in the arena that thought that would be it for Regal as Rhodes protests that it was a three count and now DiBiase leaps up onto the apron once again to get the referee’s attention once again! The ref is right in front of DiBiase and the two men bicker over that previous pin fall. Although Matthews quickly points out that Cody is removing his mask!! Cody tries his best to hide his face as he has unbuckled his mask... ala Night of Champions!! Rhodes is in position with the mask in hand as Regal starts to get back up to his feet. But now all attention turns back to DiBiase as he now has his hands on the referee’s shirt to buy Rhodes some more time!! It is all going on now as the fans erupt to see that SIN CARA IS CHARGING DOWN THE RAMP!! Rhodes is left standing still in shock as the man he screwed at Night of Champions charges down to the ring and Sin Cara grabs Ted DiBiase’s ankles and Ted faceplants on the ring apron!! The referee now starts to tell Sin Cara to get to the back but obviously the Mexican cannot understand! Rhodes also comes over and starts to weigh in and he tells the referee to eject Sin Cara! The ref now exits the ring and starts to escort Sin Cara towards the base of the ramp. Rhodes smirks as he holds his mask in his hand, and he turns around to follow through his plans... but he’s floored by a right hand from Regal!! Rhodes is KNOCKED OUT... because the cameras pick up the BRASS KNUCKLES ON REGAL’S FIST!!! THE POWER OF THE PUNCH!!! Regal stuff the knucks back into his trunks and he shouts for the ref and gets into the cover!! The official slides back into the ring and counts!! One....Two....Three!!!

Winner and #1 Contender for the Intercontinental Championship: William Regal (12:03)

REGAL DID IT! HE IS GOING TO HELL IN A CELL! Rhodes still hasn’t moved after having his lights knocked out by Regal and DiBiase sits at ringside in a state of shock as it appears that he has cost Cody again. Regal has his arm raised by the referee whilst wearing that classic Regal cheeky grin as he knows he has been naughty. Regal though points over to Sin Cara at the top of the ramp and he mouths ‘Thank You’ to his tag team partner from last week and the Mexican Idol nods back before heading to the back.

Michael Cole: This is a travesty! Regal used brass knuckles and he just struck Cody Rhodes in the face – his surgically reconstructed, beautiful face – with them! And what was Sin Cara doing out here! Surely Teddy Long can’t let this slide!

Booker T: Man, Cody still hasn’t moved! Dat was one hayell of a punch, dawg! Regal’s goin’ to Hell in a Cell!

Josh Matthews: Sin Cara was just getting some payback for what happened at Night of Champions and he was preventing William Regal from suffering the same fate as he did. And Michael, did you just call Cody Rhodes ‘beautiful’?

Booker T: Haha! He did!

Michael Cole: Cody Rhodes was screwed tonight, ladies and gentlemen.

Josh Matthews: Folks we are going to head to a commercial break now but please stay with us because after the break we’re going to find out who will face Beth Phoenix at Hell in a Cell for the WWE Divas Championship. Kelly Kelly and Brie Bella, two former Divas Champions will go one on one... next!

Regal is now on the ramp celebrating as DiBiase checks on Rhodes in the ring who is only just coming to his senses. Regal motions around his waist that he is gunning for the Intercontinental Championship before we fade out.

We start off with a black screen, but it is quickly illuminated with a flashing shot of the most sadistic structure in WWE history... the Hell in a Cell.

There is one match in WWE history that goes beyond all depths.

Triple H delivers a Pedigree to Chris Jericho from Judgement Day 2002 on top of the cell.

Bodies have been broken.

"The Game" is now on the receiving end of a Spinebuster from Batista onto the steel steps inside the cell.

Careers have been shortened.

Randy Orton dives off of the top rope and puts The Undertaker through a table; Taker then Tombstones "The Legend Killer".

Lives have been changed...

Mick Foley is put through the top of the cell by Taker; and then again by Triple H.

for the worse.

Sheamus and Randy Orton walk down to the ring for their match last year; Orton RKOs Sheamus ontop the steps for the win.

But only one thing will be guaranteed...

The Undertaker sends Mick Foley flying off of the top of the cell and crashing through the announce table.

OCTOBER 2, 2011

*End Video Package*

Michael Cole: That is right, folks, WWE’s next Pay-Per View event is Hell in a Cell from the New Orleans Arena in New Orleans in just nine night’s time!

Booker T: Dat’s right, and both de WWE Championship and the World Heavyweight Championship are gonna be defended inside de sadistic Hell in a Cell.

Josh Matthews: We learned on Raw this past Monday that the WWE Champion Alberto Del Rio will step inside Hell in a Cell and defend his title against John Cena; who will be looking to win his tenth WWE Championship.

Michael Cole: We’ve never seen Alberto Del Rio inside the Cell before but the best quality I find about Del Rio is his ability to adapt to his surroundings; he’s defied the odds before and I wouldn’t put it past him to do it again.

Josh Matthews: Another match for Monday Night Raw sees The Awesome Truth taking on the team of CM Punk and Kofi Kingston. Those four men have a lot of unresolved problems between them and it is all going to come to a head at Hell in a Cell.

Booker T: Dat match can also be for da Tag Team Titles if Awesome Truth win em dis Monday night, don’t you forget dat!

Michael Cole: That is correct, Booker. And as we saw before the break... via dubious methods, William Regal has booked himself a shot at the Intercontinental Championship against Cody Rhodes.

Josh Matthews: What do you mean by that, Cole? I thought we talked about this?

Michael Cole: He cheated! I don’t care what you two say but I won’t accept it!

There’s a decent pop in the arena that disrupts the commentators’ bickering as quickly after the music starts Kelly Kelly walks out onto the stage with a very focused expression on her face and Eve by her side. Kelly looks down at her feet as she psyches herself up for this match. Eve pats Kelly on the back before she starts to interact with the fans at ringside.

Michael Cole: Well I’ll admit it could be worse... I could be Kelly Kelly.

Booker T: Cole, dat’s just not cool.

Josh Matthews: How can you say that, Cole? Kelly lost the Divas Championship at Night of Champions and since she’s not been the same person. Just look at her... all of the emotion has gone!

Michael Cole: Well maybe some wrestling skills have come! I wouldn’t want to throw up as much every time she comes out here if she was fun to watch in the ring.

Kelly gets into the ring and jogs across to the side next to the announcer’s desk and she is actually left watching Eve getting into the ring and Torres quickly walks over to her friend which causes Kelly to smile a little. Eve holds her hand up for a high five and Kelly takes it with a little smile.

There’s not really much of a reaction around the arena as both of the Bella Twins walk out onto the stage and both of them do a little combined pose. Brie looks the more confident as she leads the way down to the ring with Nikki in tow.

Booker T: I still don’t know which one is which.

Michael Cole: Brie Bella is a great candidate to be the next challenger for Beth Phoenix; she’s a former champion in her own right!

Josh Matthews: Well I’m interested to see how Kelly Kelly acts in this match as it is her first after Night of Champions.

Brie gets into the ring as Eve leaves it; leaving the two competitors in the ring. Eve points across to Nikki on the other side and says ‘I’m watching you’. Brie looks at Kelly with a big smile on her face and Kelly has resorted to looking back down at the ground. The music fades out and the official calls for the bell to be rung.

Match Five:
#1 Contender’s Match – WWE Divas Championship
Kelly Kelly
w/ Eve vs Brie Bella w/ Nikki Bella

The bell rings but Kelly stays in the corner, looking a little shaken. She still looks at the floor as Brie starts to walk towards the centre of the ring. She holds her arms out and shouts “LIE DOWN BARBIE DOLL!” at Kelly... which causes the former Divas champ to lift her head up... and reveal a face of fury and thunder on it! The fans pop as Kelly is pissed off! Bella looks like she is staring right at a ghost.... and Kelly charges in and she levels Bella with a clothesline!! Kelly seems to have had enough as Brie is left feeling her anger and frustrations over the past few weeks. Bella gets up to her feet and Kelly meets her as soon as she does. K2 comes in with a boot to the mid section that doubles Brie over and she runs against the ropes and comes back in with a dropkick to the side of Brie’s head that knocks her down! Kelly quickly rolls into a cover! One...Two...Thr-No! Eve cheers as she supports Kelly. Bella has trouble getting back up to her feet after that and she can only scramble back into the turnbuckle. Kelly goes across to the opposite turnbuckle and she sprints forwards and cartwheels right into an elbow to Brie’s face!!

Kelly comes out into the ring and Bell walks forwards holding her face, and Kelly grabs her arm and puts her over into the centre of the ring with a Hip Toss! Brie’s back arches up as the new, focused Kelly heads over towards the corner! Kelly starts to scale the turnbuckle and she gets up onto the top rope! But Nikki Bella jumps up onto the apron! This distracts Kelly for long enough that Brie can run against the ropes which causes Kelly to drop down to the mat in a heap! Brie quickly dives on top to go for the cover...One...Two...Kelly kicks out! Brie seems angered by that so she starts to stomp away on the downed Kelly. Brie places her foot on the back of Kelly’s neck and pulls her hair!! The referee starts to come over and count to five because of the hair pull but then Brie stomps Kelly’s face into the mat! The fans shout ‘OH!’ at that as Kelly holds her face. Brie gets up to her feet and grins at the crowd. She starts to grab Kelly by the hair to pull her up, and Brie hooks Kelly’s head under her arm... and she goes for a DDT!! But Kelly spins out of it and knocks Bella down with a roundhouse kick to the head – the impact sending Brie rolling out of the ring and down to the floor below! Immediately Nikki runs right over to her sister and she huddles over her whilst the referee comes over to have a look... but Nikki rolls into the ring holding her head; trying to trick Kelly and the referee! Twin Magic! Kelly walks over to follow up on ‘Brie’ but she is met by a forearm to the head from ‘Brie’ that knocks her back. ‘Brie’ goes to follow up but Kelly comes back with a Savate Kick to the midsection that knocks ‘Brie’ down... and Kelly runs against the ropes and hits the K2 LEGDROP; sending ‘Brie’s’ face into the mat! Kelly rolls her over...One...Two...Three!!

Winner and #1 Contender for the Divas Championship: Kelly Kelly (5.18)

Both Bella Twins are now laid out at the hands of Kelly Kelly, who has her arm raised by the referee in the ring. Eve slides in and she puts her arm around Kelly, but Kelly quickly turns it into a hug. The two seemingly talk to each other whilst they embrace. They release each other and Kelly is now beaming out into the arena after that decisive victory.

Josh Matthews: Well I think after that performance Kelly Kelly may have silenced a few of her critics. Have you got a new opinion now, Michael?

Michael Cole: She still can’t hold a candle to Beth Phoenix and we’ll still get a repeat of Night of Champions at Hell in a Cell.

Booker T: Dat was a more aggressive side to Kelly and-

Josh Matthews: Booker, I’m sorry to interrupt, but did you guys here that too?

Michael Cole: Yah, Josh. We’re going to go backstage now quickly to Matt Striker who is at the scene of an incident... Matt, are you there?

On the Tron, Matt Striker now appears and the usual smile is wiped off of his face as we can see he is in a corridor backstage and there are a team of medics tending so someone on the floor.

Matt Striker: Thanks guys. As you can see behind me the WWE medical team are treating Smackdown’s Mr Money in the Bank, Daniel Bryan...

A few of the men move a little and the camera happens to see Daniel Bryan laying down on the floor; holding his head as the medics treat him. His Money in the Bank briefcase is next to him on the ground.

Matt Striker: We don’t know at this time what has happened to Daniel but he was found here a few minutes ago on the floor-

???: Hey, get these cameras outta here!

Striker starts to scurry off and we see the Smackdown General Manager Theodore Long burst onto the scene. He shoos off the camera and then crouches down beside Bryan. The cameras now return to the announce desk... and it seems that Cole is trying to suppress laughter...

Josh Matthews: Well a serious development of tonight’s show that does leave our Triple Threat main event in jeopardy; we’re going to try and get some more information on Daniel Bryan’s condition as soon as possible.

Booker T: Michael can you stop dat?!

Michael Cole: What? I’m sorry.... but I just find it funny. Whoever did that to Daniel Bryan deserves to be President!

Josh Matthews: We apologize for the unprofessionalism of Michael Cole’s behaviour at the moment but we will be back after this.
*Commercial Break*

Returning now, and the first thing we see is Daniel Bryan having his eyesight tested as he sits on a trainer’s bed. He clutches his briefcase tightly but his expression shows that he isn’t with it. The camera zooms out to reveal Theodore Long standing at the end of the bed watching the doctor go through the examination.

Theodore Long: Doctor, I need to know; is he going ta be able ta compete in the main event tonight?

The doctor walks to the end of the bed next to Teddy and speaks in a hushed tone so Bryan cannot hear.

Doctor: The signs point to that he’s got a minor concussion. My guess is someone didn’t want him to be in that match.... and they have their wish because there is no way I’m letting him out there and wrestle in this condition.

The fans boo the doctor’s orders as Long looks quite angry.

Theodore Long: I have quite a good idea of who did this... Excuse me, Doc, but I need to go and find a replacement quickly.

Long leaves the room in a hurry and the camera zooms back in on Bryan sitting on the bed. The doctor comes over and puts him in a lying down position as the cameras fade away.

... To the arena, and it becomes apparent that Teddy is against the clock because this main event is set to get started now as signalled by this.

A great deal of heat reverberates around the arena now as the man that was last seen taunting Randy Orton earlier tonight, Wade Barrett, steps out onto the stage and he has a very cocky grin on his face. He shoots his arms up into the air that causes his long jacket to drop to the floor before arrogantly striding down to the ring, proclaiming “IT’S MY TIME NOW!” before walking towards the ring in his dark blue trunks with the Union Jack printed on the front.

Michael Cole: Well Daniel Bryan being out of this match means that there is only one man for this man to worry about! Wade Barrett is the future of the WWE, mark my words. He is as tough as they come, no doubt about it.

Josh Matthews: Well we wish Daniel Bryan a speedy recovery from his attack earlier on, but I have to agree with you Michael. Sheamus is hurt after Night of Champions and Wade Barrett looks to be on top of his game.

Booker T: Barrett is one tough dude, and he’ll be a World Heavyweight Champion one day, just not whilst Mark Henry is around!

Barrett gets into the ring and he pounds his fist into his other hand before screaming out to the crowd that still boo him. He paces a little bit before his music cuts out and the fans pop a little in anticipation for the next man to come out.

The loudest cheer of the night so far by a mile comes from the crowd as ‘The Celtic Warrior’ Sheamus walks out onto the stage for this match. He’s not the same presence that we are used to seeing though as his ribs and back are all bandaged up. He throws his arms out to the side but he feels the pain of doing so afterwards; we catch a small glimpse of Barrett smiling at the obvious target on Sheamus’ back.

Josh Matthews: I’m surprised that Sheamus is out here to be honest! He was ploughed through the stage by Mark Henry at Night of Champions and still almost won the World Heavyweight Championship!

Booker T: Dis is showing just how much he wants to get his hands on Mark Henry, dawg! Sheamus wants to be in dat Cell with da World’s Strongest Man!

Michael Cole: If I were Sheamus I’d try and finish this match as quickly as possible as to avoid further injury. Barrett will home in on those ribs and the longer this goes the more it will favour Barrett.

Josh Matthews: Wade Barrett and Sheamus have had meetings in the past when Barrett first joined the WWE over a year ago but we didn’t get to see them go one on one properly without the Nexus.

Sheamus gets into the ring and he pounds his chest to a massive pop from the fans. Barrett is now grinning at the sight of this weakened Sheamus, as the power game of ‘The Celtic Warrior’ could now be completely gone. Wade’s face screws up a little bit however as the cameras have seen that Teddy Long is once again making an appearance, and he has a microphone in his hand.

Theodore Long: Cut the music!

The music stops and now Sheamus turns around to see what Long has to say.

Theodore Long: Now I know that all of you saw what happened to Daniel Bryan, and trust me I am looking into it already. But tha thing is that I promised y’all a Triple Threat match tonight, playas... so that is what yo’ gonna get!

A pop from the fans as Teddy seems to have found the replacement.

Theodore Long: So let me introduce to you-

WHAT?! There’s a mixed reaction in the Blue Cross Arena as Christian walks out onto the stage and past Long; dressed to compete!

Josh Matthews: Christian? Daniel Bryan’s replacement is.... Christian? The man that Daniel Bryan beat at Night of Champions?

Captain Charisma pounds his chest for all of his Peeps in the crowd but it seems there has been a misunderstanding...

A rare appearance from angry Teddy here. Christian stops right in his tracks with a look of discontent on his face.

Theodore Long: Christian, what the hell are you doing out here? You aint the replacement! In fact, I have reason to believe that you were the one who attacked Daniel Bryan in the first place!

Christian’s face lights up with anger as that accusation is thrown at him, but it goes from bad to worse for CC as Long motions forward with his arm... and SECURITY come out from behind the curtain! Four men march towards Christian and he doesn’t even try to resist as he is dragged back up the ramp to a big pop.

Theodore Long: Now as I was saying... let me introduce you to Daniel Bryan’s replacement in this match... JOHN MORRISON!

There’s a very loud pop this time as ‘The Shaman of Sexy’ John Morrison walks out onto the stage next to Long and he strikes his awesome looking pose. He shakes hands with the GM before walking down to the ring, passing Christian on the way and stopping to have a little staredown with ‘The Saviour of Smackdown’ before Morrison smiles and carries on to the ring. He slides in and is given a disapproving look from both Sheamus and Barrett as Morrison didn’t seem to impress them that match at Night of Champions. Christian is now being brought next to Long who points a finger in his face and starts shouting, before ordering the guards to take Christian into the back. Long follows suit and the three men are left in the ring looking at what has just transpired... we have our main event set at long last!

Michael Cole: Well that was just a joke! Teddy Long doesn’t deserve to be General Manager if he can’t utilize his best talents like Christian! Anyway, the winner of this match will face Mark Henry for the World Heavyweight Championship at Hell in a Cell... be sure not to go anywhere!
*Commercial Break*

Main Event:
#1 Contender’s Match – World Heavyweight Championship
Triple Threat:
Wade Barrett vs Sheamus vs John Morrison

We return for the final portion of the show and the main event had gotten underway during the break. We can currently see Wade Barrett working over Sheamus in the corner as Barrett has Sheamus seated, leaving no defence for The Celtic Warrior against boots to the injured ribs. The match is only a few minutes old but Sheamus is already in a lot of trouble as the entirety of the match thus far Barrett has been in control after flattening Morrison with an elbow to the head that JoMo is still only just getting up from. Morrison gets up to his feet and he walks over to Barrett and turns him around before cracking him in the side of the head with a forearm! Barrett stumbles into the centre of the ring holding his head and Morrison rebounds off of the ropes looking to follow up but he runs right into a Big Boot from Barrett!! Wade straightens himself back up and he picks Morrison up and sends him into the corner. Barrett follows up with an elbow crushing Morrison in the corner, before he charges across the ring and delivers a shoulder to the ribs of Sheamus!! Sheamus screams out in pain as Barrett now clasps his hands around Sheamus and he throws him through the ropes... and Sheamus lands in a heap on the floor outside the ring! Barrett has a look at Morrison before he climbs through the ropes himself and drops off of the apron down next to Sheamus. The Englishman stand over Sheamus with a smug grin before he slowly brings Sheamus back up. Barrett places Sheamus’ arm over him... and drives Sheamus back first into the ring apron!! It is academic from Barrett in his dissection of Sheamus, and he now holds onto the Irishman’s arm... and Irish Whips him back-first into the steel steps!! The top half of the steps fly into the barricade and Sheamus is left squirming on the floor in agony. Barrett wipes his hands together to say that he’s done with Sheamus but he turns towards the ring and his flattened by a Corkscrew Plancha from Morrison!!!

JoMo holds his arm up high as he is now the only man standing out of the three. He doesn’t waste too much time though as he picks Barrett up and rolls him into the ring. Morrison now turns towards Sheamus who has barely started to get up to his feet. Morrison goes to grab The Celtic Warrior but Sheamus fights back with an axe handle to the mid section of Morrison that knocks him back! Sheamus gets up and he slams Morrison’s head against the ring apron! The pain that Sheamus is going through is obvious to see because of his facial expression, but it doesn’t stop him from now bringing Morrison up and he sends Morrison right into the ring post!! Morrison flies onto the floor after taking that massive shot. Sheamus now uses all of his energy to slide back into the ring. Sheamus gets up to his feet with some difficulty and Barrett is also now back up after the big move from Morrison. Barrett comes in to try and continue his previous work on Sheamus but Sheamus ducks his big boot attempt and knocks Barrett down with a clothesline to a huge pop! Barrett is right back up and he runs at Sheamus only to be knocked down with another clothesline! Barrett is right up again and how he charges at Sheamus again and Sheamus ducks the clothesline and transitions it into a Falling Powerslam!! The fans pop but Sheamus drops down to his knees after that because of the pressure on his back. It doesn’t stop him from going for a pin though...One...Two...Barrett kicks out! Sheamus seems to be a little exhausted already as he runs his hand through his hair and slowly gets up to his feet. Barrett is quicker up to his feet than Sheamus and he meets Sheamus in the centre of the ring and he cracks him with a right hand to the face that knocks Sheamus back into the ropes and The Celtic Warrior replies with a right hand of his own! Barrett is hurting from the shot and now Sheamus brings him towards the ropes and puts his head through it... and he starts to beat Barrett’s chest against the ropes!!! The fans count along as the strikes pummel Wade in the chest, but Sheamus has to stop as his back seems to be hurting too much. The fans boo and Barrett slumps down with his upper body hanging through the ropes. There’s a small pop now as Morrison is back and he leaps up onto the apron and he jumps onto Barrett’s back!! There’s a loud pop for Morrison as he uses Barrett as a perch and he leaps over the top rope from on top of Barrett and takes Sheamus down with a Cross Body!! Morrison into the cover! One... Two...Th-NO!!

Sheamus stays alive to a big pop from the fans and he sits up after the cover from Morrison, but JoMo quickly runs against the ropes and comes back with a Shining Wizard kick to Sheamus’ head! Morrison looks to go for a cover but instead he sees Barrett back up to his feet so he charges at the former Nexus leader but is caught with the Winds of Change from Barrett!!! Morrison is spun around and slammed into the mat and Barrett opts against the cover and instead shouts out to the fans before he eggs Morrison to get back up to his feet after the big move. Morrison is back to his feet and he turns around right into Barrett’s clutches. Barrett hoists him up into the air into a Fireman’s Carry!! There is a lot of heat in the arena as Barrett roars out once again... and goes for WASTELAND-NO! Morrison rolls off of Barrett’s back! JoMo now pushes Barrett into the corner... and Barrett’s face hits the top turnbuckle and Morrison comes in with a rolling pin and he sits down on Barrett’s legs to stop the kick out! One...Two...Thr-SHEAMUS BREAKS THE PIN.... BY DELIVERING A BROGUE KICK TO MORRISON!!! Morrison is knocked flat out and Barrett gets to his feet. Barrett goes for a right hand but Sheamus dodges and lifts Barrett up for an Irish Curse Backbreaker!! Barrett’s back arches after that move and Sheamus collapses to the floor after putting in all of that strain... but he falls on top of Morrison, clutching his ribs....One...Two....Three!!!

Winner: Sheamus (13.26)

There’s a massive pop in the arena as Sheamus is helped up to his feet by the referee and is barely able to have his arms raised. He has pain etched on his face from his back but he is still able to crack out a small smile through the pain.

Josh Matthews: What a performance from Sheamus! He is a true warrior!

Booker T: I don’t know how he did it, but he did! An’ now he’s goin into dat Cell wid Mark Henry!

Michael Cole: That is going to be a HELLASCIOUS match... if Sheamus is going to be able to get there in the first place! He needs to rest up otherwise we could be without a World Heavyweight title match at Hell in a Cell.

Josh Matthews: Sheamus and Mark Henry have caused nothing but destruction whenever they have stepped foot into the ring at the same time but in nine night’s time they’re both going to be confined inside Hell in a Cell... all I can say is that I feel sorry for the referee.

Sheamus stands tall in the ring as Morrison rolls out of it but he turns around to look around the Blue Cross Arena... and turns right into a clothesline from Barrett!! The music cuts out and now Barrett starts to stomp away on the new number one contender. Barrett relents and storms around the ring, shouting ‘IT SHOULD BE ME!’ before he walks over to Sheamus and lifts him up onto his shoulders.... he’s going to go for Wasteland... but before Barrett does, he drops Sheamus to the mat because RANDY ORTON is charging down to the ring!! The fans go ballistic at The Viper’s appearance and he gets into the ring and nails Barrett with a right hand but when Orton runs against the ropes to go for a clothesline, Barrett is able to scoop him up and he now has Orton in the Fireman’s Carry!! Wasteland on Orton!! NO! Orton slides off of Barrett’s shoulders and turns him around.... and drops Barrett with an RKO!!! Everyone is going crazy in the arena as Orton holds his shoulder in pain as he makes his way back up to his feet, looking down at Barrett with a satisfied look on his face. Sheamus gets up as well and both Sheamus and Orton exchange a knowing look at each other, the old rivals being the two injured men standing tall in the centre of the ring. Although the cheering in the arena turns into more of a buzz now as we can see that Mark Henry is now on the stage! The champion holds his title high up into the air and now the cameras catch Sheamus staring at Henry intently.

Michael Cole: Oh my! What an explosive end to the show! We’ve got Sheamus as the new number one contender and I think Mark Henry is happy about it! That’s all we have time for I’ve been Michael Cole with Josh Matthews, good night!

Josh Matthews: Yes!

Booker T: What da hayell?!

Henry smiles at both Orton and Sheamus in the ring before he lowers his title and turns to the back; his large figure disappearing out of show signals the end of the show...

Re: WWE 2011: Pushing the Boundaries

A Nightmare Review:

Alright TWG, Read this last night but forgot to give you some feedback so here it is, Just gonna cover the main things though instead of full on feedback.

Love the fact your pushing Justin Gabriel, Thought it was nice to see him beat both Watson and O'Neil in the same show instead of facing O'Neil next week and beating him then. Curtis & Bateman I liked as a team in FCW so nice to see them here, Looks like we may get a 6 man tag match next week. But where is Darren Young to team with O'Neil?

I can't wait for Regal vs Rhodes that should be a great match at HIAC and seems like were heading to a tag match next week with Rhodes & Dibiase vs Regal & Sin Cara. Kinda hope Regal wins the belt but just can't see it happening.

Daniel Bryan being taken out made sense, Don't want him to suffer the loss and lose momentum considering he has the MITB case but obviously don't want him becoming #1 Contender for HIAC while still holding the briefcase. As for who attacked him my first guess was Christian but that seems too obvious, Maybe it's someone yet to debut like Dean Ambrose or Seth Rollins, Someone like that maybe.

I like the way your booking Kelly Kelly, This new aggression in her is nice to see instead of the same old bubbly Kelly Kelly. Makes me think maybe she won't get destroyed at Hell In A Cell by Beth.

Sheamus becoming #1 Contender was obviously going to happen but that doesn't change the fact it was a good move. Sheamus and Mark Henry was a feud I always enjoyed when it happened and I expect a brutal hard hitting Hell In A Cell match between Sheamus & Henry.

Hopefully you do better with the Hell In A Cell matches then WWE does cause there horrible with the real WWE the past few years. Looking forward to the next show and Hell In A Cell when you get there.

Re: WWE 2011: Pushing the Boundaries

The first time I read this it put me in hospital and I just got out, so I thought I should give you some thoughts.

SmackDown Feedback

Starting off with the new World Heavyweight Champion is a good way to go, really the only way you could go after the PPV. I applaud you by the way of putting the belt on someone different like Henry, bold move but I feel he would make a dominant World Champ’. Liked the little bit with Henry screaming at the fan. The start to the promo was okay, not liking the negative reference to Sexual Chocolate. Comedy gold he was with good old D-Lo Brown, shame on you. Anyway, I didn’t really get the second line, it was almost as if he was saying that pleasing the fans actually helped him, because he won the World Championship. Henry challenging anyone in the back to come out and face him was a good way to show he means business and will take on all comers, I would have liked him to maybe go into detail about his time in the Nation of Domination, perhaps saying he learned then not to be someone’s bitch and take things for himself, could’ve got more heat by running down the leader of that group, The Rock before referring to Sexual Chocolate and then continuing the promo. Liked the intensity of Henry when he was talking about Sheamus, and I’m actually surprised that Sheamus never came out but Theodore was expected. I liked Teddy congratulating Mark because they have history with each other, so props for referring to that. What? No tag team match? You sicken me. Triple threat main event is huge but I can already tell that Sheamus will be the one that wins it. Really surprised that you gave Orton’s rematch away on Television, not sure how I feel about it, but with Hell in a Cell right round the corner than I guess it makes sense. Anyway, solid opening to the show.

Interesting start to the match, with Orton being wary of Henry, which is understandable as it shows that Henry is a beast and even Orton needs to think smartly about facing him. Orton showing his smarts by rolling out the ring to rethink his strategy was a good segue into the commercial break. Henry looked extremely dominant in the opening exchange, and after the break as well, maybe even too dominant. I was really surprised by how much little offense that Orton got in this match, it seemed like for the whole match, except the end, he was dominated by Henry. Henry picking up the win was expected, and he looked like a total beast in this match, dominating the former champion like he was nothing. A good match to kick things off.

Solid backstage segment here, I’d have rather Christian tell Teddy to shut up instead of just saying be quiet. But anyway, good to see Christian getting more and more annoyed, expect to see more of him later in the show.

You’ve already told me you are a fan of Gabriel so I expected him to pull out the victory here, what I didn’t expect though is the second match. It shows how brave and tough Justin is after accepting another match, and picking up the victory again just consolidates how good he can be, I am concerned that it made one of your tag teams look a little weak. The post match was interesting, the team getting some revenge after being shown up and Fighting For Freedom making the save was good. I like this duo for some reason.

Another good backstage segment, I feel that you done well in hyping up the main event and making Daniel seem fearless and referring to him having to work his way to the top will only make the fans like him more. I found the start to the next one confusing, but you cleared that up with Kelly saying she wants to earn it. I’m actually interested in what you’re doing with Kelly tbh, which is a first for me. Don’t know if you realized this, but it’s me, Brie, actually made me laugh, just the way it rhymed. Anyway, like I said this Kelly situation is actually interesting to me, and I get the feeling will Eve will play a huge part in this storyline. Another solid bit of hype for the main event, but it makes it pretty obvious that Orton will play a part either during or at least after it.

Good match here, the match writing was solid and Regal picking up the win was expected, as we do need a challenger and Regal will no doubt be a good one for Rhodes. Sin Cara getting involved, I didn’t expect, but he needed to get some retribution after NOC, and the referee telling him to leave but he didn’t understand was gold. Good segue into Regal getting the win with the brass knuckles.

Time for the divas match, match quality will be top notch, I can tell. Liking the new aggressive nature of Kelly, as her old happy go lucky stuff in real life was awful. Not much to say on this match, Kelly had to win to get her rematch, the writing was solid though. I did expect Phoenix to show her face though. Bryan knocked out? I’m guessing Christian, did find Teddy ordering everyone away was a little strange but it does add some intrigue to the main event later.

I was gonna say that having Christian in this match wouldn’t make any sense, so glad you stopped him and put Morrison in the match. Really good and exciting main event, again – you’re match writing was solid and a nice way to end the match portion of the night. Barrett attacking Sheamus was a good way to get Orton involved in the closing moments of the show, and a Henry appearance was needed. Sheamus and Henry should be a good title match for the PPV, and Hell in a Cell should make it that much more special.

All in all, despite my grievances about the start of the Mark Henry promo, you know why , it was a solid show after the PPV. You had it tough in that you had to create a good card in just two weeks. Like I said, I enjoyed this show, like RAW, and I look forward to the next one – my doctor is on call for when it’s posted. <3

Smackdown Feedback

No other way to kick off than with Sexual Chocolate after what went down at NOC. The opening bit to this was a little off, I don’t know it just didn’t feel right. If you read it back you’ll see what I mean. It felt as if Henry was trying to hate on the fans but at the same time, he kinda thanked them for those times as they’ve got him to this point. After that it was fairly standard stuff, the way he went off on Sheamus was good and that’s what I wanna see more of from him. Liked the fact you referenced T-Long and Henry’s past relationship, was a nice touch and that’s a huge announcement from the GM. Henry vs Orton NOW? Massive match and on one hand it’s great but on the other hand, it’s probably too big a match to give away on Smackdown. These two meeting down the line on PPV for the first time would’ve been better I think.

The match itself was pretty strong however and this was the reason why it was a good call. This instantly puts Henry over as a legit champion. Defending the title on his first show as champion against the biggest star on the brand and beating him CLEAN. Massive win for Henry.

Felt a bit filler ish here with Christian and Teddy Long. It was just a bit short and Christian didn’t seem his usual self. Don’t mind his whole ‘Saviour’ stuff but don’t think he needed to immediately bring it up. The continuation of Christian/Bryan though is all good with me.

Nice win for Gabriel here, his little push just keeps on building and it’s good to see. Aftermath was something I’m a little torn on. I don’t really see the need for Gabriel to compete twice in a row unless it’s gonna be a real challenge but O’Neil and Watson are never threatening him. BUT…it does make Gabriel look a real never back down kinda guy and would definitely get him in the fans good books even more. He showed guts and heart with the two on the bounce and I’m glad you had him struggle a bit more to put Titus away than you did with Watson. Winning with a roll up was something else I wasn’t too sure on but I can see why you did it with him being fatigued but again at the same time, a roll up win over Titus O’Neil doesn’t exactly do him wonders.

Aftermath was very interesting and I actually like what you’ve been doing with Curtis and Bateman. They’re an interesting duo and the whole ‘Fighting for Freedom’ thing is a cool gimmick. A feud between them and Watson/O’Neil would be a good one for them to get going with.

Bryan interview was decent. Only gripe I had was him saying that winning tonight would be like cheating? How that works I’m not sure, he’d simply be earning a title shot sooner than anticipated, something you can’t turn down. Wrestlemania moment or not, it’s the World Title lol but I know why you did it. Emphasising the briefcase being so key to him was well worked.

Divas stuff is actually pretty interesting right now so props for that. Particularly enjoying Kelly’s downfall but desire to rise again. Good stuff, interested to see where it goes next.

Barrett was pretty much spot on here, probs the best character work of the show so far from you. The Worm thing was actually pretty good although I’m sure Orton wouldn’t have just stood there and took that. Pretty sure these two will lock horns soon enough.

MASSIVE victory for Regal here and I’m thrilled to see it. Guessing it’s not the end of Rhodes/Cara for now however but in the mean time, Rhodes/Regal should be a really strong feud. I’d love to see Regal take the gold but I’m pretty sure it’s Rhodes’ for the taking. Expecting strong stuff from this though.

Good win for Kelly and good continuation from earlier on tonight. A more aggressive side beginning to come out in her and I’m wondering what this is all gonna lead to eventually.

Ah, wasn’t surprised at all to see this happen with D-Bry. Certainly expecting a Christian rematch in store for Mr.MITB.

Excellent stuff with Christian and Long here. Christian just strolling out thinking it’s in the bag was priceless only for Long to shoot him down like that. Morrison’s a good choice to slot in here and the match quality will no doubt still be strong.

And indeed it was a very strong contest with all three men coming out of it looking like real threats and Sheamus scoring the expected but impressive victory. Aftermath with Orton and Barrett was nice, continuing their little brewing feud and Mizark coming down and staring out Sheamus to close things off was a nice little teaser of what’s to come at Hell in a Cell. Should be a brutal one between those two.

All in all a solid show here. The matches delivered strong with the opener and main event. It’s tough because you’re so close to the next PPV already which is a bit of a killer for you and you’ve gotta arrange things pretty quickly but I think you did a decent job here. Looking forward to the next one mate, keep it going.

Re: WWE 2011: Pushing the Boundaries

Barrett and Orton set to collide at Hell in a Cell!

Following the events after the main event of Smackdown this past Friday, Smackdown General Manager has decided that Randy Orton and Wade Barrett will face off at Hell in a Cell. After Barrett was unsuccessful in becoming the #1 Contender for the World Heavyweight Championship, he tried to attack the winner of the match, Sheamus, but luckily for 'The Celtic Warrior', Randy Orton charged down the ramp and dropped Barrett with an emphatic RKO.

The move from Orton was not unprovoked however, as there have been weeks of built up animosity between these two men. In the weeks prior to Night of Champions, Barrett had the champion-at-the-time's number and left Orton laid out twice in as many weeks at one stage. Even earlier in the night Barrett thought it was appropriate to insult Orton backstage following his unsuccessful rematch for the World Heavyweight Title against Mark Henry; going as far to call 'The Viper'... 'The Worm'. There is no love lost between these two and we'll get to see them go at it one-on-one in New Orleans on October 2nd!

Spoiler for Behind the Security Door:
We go backstage and we see a group of security guards standing in front of a door. Our brave Interviewer is on the scene and he approaches the burly-looking men.

Interviewer: Gentlemen, I'm Briley Pierce, working for wwe.com. I was wondering if I could get an exclusive with the man in this room.

We've finally learned the name of this mystery man with the microphone. Pierce waist intently as one of the guards talks into his walkie-talkie.

Security Guard: Go on right ahead. We're just holding him in here 'til Mr Long has finished some business.

Pierce turns to the camera and smiles before the guards part, allowing him and the cameraman through. The camera follows Briley into the room which is revealed to be the Men's locker room... which is totally empty bar one man sitting next to his bags... It's Christian. Captain Charisma looks extremely angry and is still in his ring gear even though the show is finished.

Briley Pierce: Christian, can I get a few words?

No reply from CC, who just looks at the wall in front of him. In true interviewer style, Pierce takes this as an indication to ask a question anyway.

Briley Pierce: So Christian, everyone is saying that you were the man responsible for attacking Daniel Bryan backstage earlier tonight; ruling him out of the main event. What we all wanna know is... did you do it?

Christian turns his head towards Pierce with a scowl on his face.

Christian: Did I do it? Y-you're asking me... if I attacked Daniel Bryan tonight?

Pierce nods.

Christian: You're asking me if I attacked the man that embarrassed me at Night of Champions and took my spot here on Smackdown?

Briley Pierce: Yeah-

Pierce is a little taken aback by that; shocked even.

Christian: I saw him backstage so I attacked him. I took Daniel Bryan OUT.

There is a cold look in Christian’s eyes as he speaks... a look of no remorse.

Christian: I bet you’re wondering why... huh, Briley? I did it because I want my spot back. I did it because Daniel Bryan does not DESERVE to be in MY spot. I did it because I want to be the World...Heavyweight...Champion.

Christian lowers his head after saying that and Pierce starts to back away and away from the ‘Saviour of Smackdown’. He turns around and asks for the cameraman to cut the camera out but it doesn’t and Pierce’s face gets right into the camera as he tries to get away from the icy Christian.

Spoiler for Smackdown's 'Rising Star' speaks out:
With Pierce again and he walks around backstage hurriedly as he looks for someone else to interview. The cameraman notices a group of Superstars standing in a huddle as Justin Gabriel recalls his victories tonight to Trent Barretta and The Usos. We run in and catch Gabriel mid-flow.

Justin Gabriel:... then he started to bark like a dog again so I saw the chance and rolled him up!

Briley Pierce: Hey guys! Justin, I was wondering if I could get a few words with you? (Turns to everyone else) If you don't mind, gentlemen.

The three other men walk away looking a little downtrodden but Gabriel has a sip on his water as he's ready for the questions.

Briley Pierce: Justin, given your recent run of impressive victories over the past few weeks, including winning two matches in one night tonight, people are starting to call you the Rising Star of Smackdown. What are your thoughts on that nickname?

Justin Gabriel: Wow... people really call me that? That's crazy. Well I'm extremely flattered by those comments.

Gabriel smiles as he waits for the next one. Pierce looked like he was hoping for more from that as he is a little unprepared...

Briley Pierce: Um... that's great. Umm... okay, I got one; I want to know this just as much as everybody... what is next for Justin Gabriel?

Gabers rubs his jaw as he thinks for an answer for that one.

Justin Gabriel: What's next for me? Well what I'd like to think I am working towards is a shot at the Intercontinental Championship in the near future; I think I am much more suited to that title than Cody Rhodes.

Pierce is extremely intrigued by that comment.

Briley Pierce: Is this you putting Cody Rhodes on notice?

Justin Gabriel: If you want to call it that, than yes. But there are a couple of guys here on Smackdown that should get that shot ahead of me. William Regal is long overdue his shot and Sin Cara deserves another go.

Justin smiles at Pierce who nods at him back.

Justin Gabriel: But until I think I'm ready for that all I've got to say is... bring on the competition because I'm not turning anybody down.

Gabriel tips his bottle in the direction of the camera before taking another swig. He shakes hands with Pierce and leaves the scene... the camera staying on him before fading out.

Spoiler for Challenge from the Doghouse:
It seems this time that Pierce has had his guests prepped before the camera is rolling this time as he stands ready with his microphone and next to him is a very angry looking Percy Watson and an even angrier Titus O'Neill.

Briley Pierce: So guys, tell me what it was like to both be beaten by the same man in one night then get beaten up after the match for good measure as well?

Titus' eyes widen at that and Pierce realises what he said didn't sound very smart.

Before he needs to be physically removed from the vicinity, Pierce scarpers and leaves the microphone with big Titus.

Titus O'Neill: Look, we aint even angry about Justin Gabriel; we were just havin' and off night.

O'Neill points at the camera now, and Percy nods along.

Titus O'Neill: We're angry because those two clowns in Fightin' fo' Freedom thought they'd come down to the ring and try an' save the day! We'd just been through matches; you don't attack someone unprovoked after a match like that!

Hypocrisy in it's finest form as Watson takes over the talking responsibilities.

Percy Watson: Look, we aint usually the kind o' guys that hold a grudge but we can't accept dat. No, no, no.

Percy is starting to look more emotionally hurt than anything.

Percy Watson: We go out there ev'ry night to try and bring Showtime to all these people but dey didn't appreciate us. And what Derrick and Johnny did to us tonight was just plain wrong... mhmm, yes it was, misters!

Watson grabs the stick again and he slowly raises it up to his mouth.

Titus O'Neill: We aint gon' let you get away with this... that's why next week... 'Showtime' Percy Watson and 'The Big Dog' Titus O'Neill, we challenge YOU, Fighting for Freedom, to a match on Smackdown! And trust me... boys... we gon' drag you through The Doghouse!

Big Titus starts to bark like a dog for some reason and Watson screams 'OH YEAH' at the camera before the mic is dropped to the floor and the two men walk off. Pierce then comes back into the shot and checks that the microphone is still working...

Briley Pierce: They better not have broken this thing...

As for that the opening promo is finished and not touched the rest so I won't give you an estimated date if completion for it because I have no clue myself. Any more feedback for Smackdown would be very much appreciated!

Re: WWE 2011: Pushing the Boundaries

JAM's Review

You wrote Henry pretty well here, I think you got him down to a tee. I like how you referenced his past and his Hall of Pain shtick which I think is really good. However, it does lead me to believe that Sheamus will obviously be his opponent. Teddy Long coming out, WHC Match now?! Wow what a way to open the show. Not sure if Orton would've agree to it since it's pretty obvious Henry would still win but an 18 minute match to open the show, wow. It probably tired out the crowd, maybe you could've saved it for the main event.

Push for Justin Gabriel? I'm all for it. Giving him two wins in one night against the likes of Watson and Titus is good. They're not a bad tag team, but I guess you needed someone to job to Gabriel. Curtis and Bateman, ha! I liked them as a tag team so I'm glad they got their time, another team to the tag division is always good. Christian fuming over not being in the main event, I kinda wished he was there. I can see him getting involved or costing Bryan the match. Saviour of Smackdown sounds like a good gimmick for him though.

Typical Bryan promo here. It's pretty hard for me to read him as a normal person because of how attached he is to his character right now in WWE. But still, it was a good interview. Don't think Striker should say a whole lot, just introduce who he has to interview, lol. Kelly here was pretty interesting. I like that you're giving us a storyline for the divas and this is pretty unconventional. Whoever comes out on top, I think Beth will still crush them but Kelly is getting tougher, would love to see her develop. Another indication that Sheamus will win the main event. You're clearly gonna have Barrett/Orton I believe which I don't mind, but it's been done.

A show featuring Regal? I love it! The midcard on Smackdown is pretty good with these three at the middle of it all and Gabriel right there as well. I'm sure Cody comes out with the win at the end of it all, but this'll be a good rub on Cody since Regal is pretty accomplished. But in the end, I still think Dibiase takes that title off of him.

Good win for Kelly, she definitely looked impressive there. But it's gonna take a lot to make her a credible threat to Beth Phoenix, she's gotta learn some new moves probably as well. Bryan getting attacked backstage? Must be Christian.

Main event was really good, that was a good showing from Morrison! Pretty stoked that he got some main event spotlight on him as I think he belongs there, just a little more push and he'll be there. As for the contest as a whole, it was good. Your match writing has been very good in this show, giving us detail, and I'd like to see more of this if you have the time to write them.

Overall, you did a good job in continuing feuds and starting new ones. The opening and closing matches really delivered and the segments all throughout were all needed to make this episode work. I am interested to see what you do with Christian since I think he's the most interesting character you have now followed by Henry. Just so many routes you can go and I'm confident that you'll choose the right one. Onto the next!

Re: WWE 2011: Pushing the Boundaries

Monday Night Raw Preview
26th September 2011
Mohegan Sun Arena – Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania

With just SIX night left until the most hellascious night of the WWE Calendar, Hell in a Cell, Raw is rolling into the Mohegan Sun Arena with yet again another stacked show. As a reminder to every Raw Superstar - but mainly to the WWE Champion Alberto Del Rio and the #1 Contender John Cena - the very Cell that those two will do battle in this Sunday will be looming above everyone's heads tonight. Cena, who announced his title match last week after defeating R-Truth, is set to open the show to discuss his feelings heading into a chance to win his unprecedented TENTH WWE Championship and to let off his true feelings about the Mexican Aristocrat. Del Rio meanwhile will be competing in tonight's main event against the ever-popular Zack Ryder, who has been down on his luck as of late but given the chance to impress tonight and try to forget all of his recent clashes with Jack Swagger. Del Rio may well be accused of taking Ryder lightly, but Long Island Iced-Z could shock the world tonight.

Last week, CM Punk was forced into a match by the Raw General Manager John Laurinaitis... the bad part was that it was against his close friend Kofi Kingston. The allies almost tore the roof down; that is until Johnny's Administration members The Miz and R-Truth - collectively known as The Awesome Truth - interrupted proceedings towards the end of the contest and ruined the stellar match for all of us. However Miz announced that Punk and Kingston would take on himself and his fellow LA member at Hell in a Cell. The match this Sunday could be brought to a whole new level though as tonight The Awesome Truth have the chance to capture the WWE Tag Team Championships against current champions Santino Marella and Vladimir Kozlov; The Odd Couple. This will be the third Tag Team Championship Match in the space of nine days for the oddball champions but it is very hard to rule out the Italian and the Russian. Will the Laurinaitis Administration earn it's first taste of championship gold or will the champions prevail once again?

The very reason for Santino and Kozlov being made to defend their titles tonight is because they along with Evan Bourne, confronted John Laurinaitis last week and wanted "justice" for what happened to Rey Mysterio at the hands of Brodus Clay; the newest member of Johnny's team. Mysterio isn't going to be around for a while it has now been confirmed but his friends did try their best to stick up for him. Bourne in particular was very vocal in saying that he was not afraid of the 350+ lbs wrecking ball, which obviously got the GM's brain ticking over. He did what he thought was an action that would please all parties and he announced Bourne as Clay's second opponent on Raw. Will Evan be able to defy the odds and topple the giant? Or is there worse to come from Clay?

Drew McIntyre had been desperate to turn his career around and he thought that securing the managerial services of the United States Champion Dolph Ziggler's manager, Vickie Guerrero would solve all of his problems. But it isn't as straightforward as that. It seems that helping Dolph defeat Rey Mysterio at Night of Champions wasn't enough. Last week, Drew was offered a unique proposal; become #1 Contender for the United States Championship and then LIE DOWN for Ziggler to pin him at Hell in a Cell. Drew was surprisingly happy to accept the deal, but he has to get past a man that has been troubling him recently on WWE Superstars, The Varsity Villain, Alex Riley. Alex is no slouch and McIntyre will have his work cut out for him as these two rivals collide tonight on Raw.

Confirmed for Raw:

Non-Title Match:
WWE Champion Alberto Del Rio vs Zack Ryder

WWE Tag Team Championship Match:
The Odd Couple © vs The Awesome Truth

#1 Contender's Match - United States Championship
Alex Riley vs Drew McIntyre

Brodus Clay vs Evan Bourne

It isn't finished yet, but I thought I would put this up whilst I can be bothered; it might even help motivate me

Re: WWE 2011: Pushing the Boundaries

Monday Night Raw
26th September 2011
Mohegan Sun Arena – Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania

Raw starts this week without the opening video package and straight into the arena where the camera is focused onto the ceiling of the Mohegan Sun Arena and the thing that is captivating everyone’s attention right now is that the Hell in a Cell structure is hanging above the ring, ahead of the Hell in a Cell Pay-Per-View event this Sunday. The cameras though cut around the arena for that sweeping shot meaning someone is about to come out...

There’s a loud reaction inside the arena, a mix of both cheers and boos for the incomparable John Cena who explodes out onto the stage and starts waving his arms about and running around the stage to try and pump up the fans. Cena though slows down and pauses before the camera and says off the cuff, “Man that thing is HUGE!” before he starts to walk down to the ring as opposed to running. He holds his arm out for the fans to touch and grab as his eyes are focused solely on the structure he is set to step into in six night’s time.

Michael Cole: Ladies and Gentlemen welcome to Monday Night Raw! We have John Cena starting things off for us tonight and can you see what he is focused on, King?

Jerry Lawler: John Cena is going to step inside Hell in a Cell for the second time this Sunday against Alberto Del Rio for the WWE Championship! That match is going to be huge.

Michael Cole: Cena announced that he was cashing in his one-on-one rematch clause for the WWE Championship at Hell in a Cell last week after he defeated R-Truth in our main event.

He stops at the bottom of the ramp and looks quickly at an extremely excited kid in the front row clad in Cena gear with a sign saying ‘JAM CENA’. Cena then pulls a wristband out of his pocket and tosses it into the boy’s direction which causes him to go crazy, which brings a smile to Cena’s face. Cena walks up the steps with the cell still his focus of attention and he steps into the ring, picking up a microphone as he does. Cena walks to the centre of the ring and salutes the fans as he waits for the music to cut out.

John Cena: Above my head... above my head is the structure that every Superstar in the back fears right down to their very core.

Cena looks around and nods before he carries along.

John Cena: The Hell in a Cell Match has seen some of the craziest moments in WWE History. Mick Foley flying off of the top of the Cell and through the announce table... Chris Jericho getting Pedigree’d onto the roof and his face being cut up... the ways to hurt your opponent inside Hell in a Cell are endless.

In a more serious tone than usual tonight, Cena now looks up and points to the Cell above the ring.

John Cena: For those of y’all that missed last week’s show, I announced that I am going to step inside Hell in a Cell this Sunday and challenge Alberto Del Rio for the WWE Championship.

That elicits a mixed reaction from the crowd, as some boo the mention of the champion but some cheer for the match.

John Cena: See, I might have only been in one Hell in a Cell match before and I may have lost that match but there is one thing that I have a lot more experience in than Alberto Del Rio... winning the WWE Championship.

Another solid pop.

John Cena: This Sunday I am going to walk into Hell in a Cell and I am going to kick Alberto Del Rio’s ass all over the Cell and I am going to become a 10-time WWE CHAMPION!

Cena livens up for the first time in the promo and he quickly calms down after that little outburst.

John Cena: Every time I have been WWE Champion I have been happy to put the title on the line at any place at any time...

Cena’s cuts a wry smile.

John Cena: Unfortunately the same can’t be said for ol’ Berty!

A mix of heat and laughs at that... a small ‘BERTY’ chant kicks up but it doesn’t catch on.

John Cena: Ever since he has become the WWE Champion, Alberto Del Rio has taken the cheap way out every time he has defended that title. He won it by cashing in Money in the Bank after Kevin Nash attacked. He defended it the next night on Raw after Kevin Nash attacked. And at Night of Champions he defended it after... Kevin... Nash.... attacked.

John Cena: But the thing is, Kevin Nash ain’t gonna be able to get inside Hell in a Cell; hell, he aint even gonna want to; I’m not CM Punk!

That is met by a big pop for the ever popular Punk, but Cena nods his head and looks at the floor.

John Cena: What I’m tryin’ to say is that Alberto Del Rio needs to show the true heart of a champion if he wants any chance of leavin’ New Orleans with the WWE Championship and not the heart of a coward.

“OOH!” cries out the audience and Cena smiles.

John Cena: So Berty, next week on Raw... I’ll be standin’ in the centre of this ring with my title... and THE CHAMP WILL BE-

There is quite a lot of heat in the arena as Cena turns directly in the direction of the stage where the WWE Champion Alberto Del Rio walks out with a smirk on his face, and the champion starts to make his way down to the ring. Ricardo Rodriguez is not present and neither is the sports car as they must both be being saved for when Del Rio competes later on. Del Rio is however dressed in his ring gear for his match with Zack Ryder tonight.

Michael Cole: I think Alberto Del Rio might have taken exception to a few of those comments made by John Cena about him.

Jerry Lawler: Alberto Del Rio is a proud man and he would not have liked hearing what John Cena was saying... as true as it was.

Michael Cole: I just think Del Rio knows that you got to do whatever it takes in order to succeed here in the WWE.

Jerry Lawler: There’s doing whatever it takes... and then there’s being a coward. Alberto Del Rio is a coward.

Del Rio laughs in the face at the ‘JAM CENA’ kid who looks upset after that. Del Rio also grabs a microphone as he reaches the top of the steps and he gets into the ring with Cena. ‘Realeza’ fades out and Del Rio smugly looks at Cena before he starts to talk.

Alberto Del Rio: John, I think ju’re mistaken... I’m not scared of ju and ju’re nine WWE Championship reigns.

Cena lifts an eyebrow at that comment.

Alberto Del Rio: And I’m not scared... of Hell in a Cell.

The fans boo that as Cena actually laughs a little bit at that statement.

Alberto Del Rio: So I’m not scared of defending my WWE Championship against ju inside Hell in a Cell. I’ve figured ju out, John Cena... ju’re not who people think you are.

Del Rio waves his finger at Cena before adjusting the belt on his shoulder.

Alberto Del Rio: Ju’re not this... unstoppable... hero that ju’re made out to be. I’ve found this out because I’ve beaten ju twice now, Cena! Ju’re not a threat to my WWE title, perro.

John Cena: I’m not a threat?

Alberto Del Rio: I’m going to beat ju again at Hell in a Cell just like I’m going to beat Zack Ryder tonight!

The fans pop loudly for the mention of Ryder and Cena even does a little fist pump.

Alberto Del Rio: The bottom line is, Cena, that I’m going to do what I always do at Hell in a Cell... I’m going to adapt to the situation in front of me and use it to my advantage.

The fans boo at that comment and now Del Rio looks up at the Cell over their heads and he points up towards it.

Alberto Del Rio: Bring it down, perro!

Del Rio lowers his arm and the lights in the arena dim slightly. Some spotlights shoot around all over the arena as the camera zooms into the ceiling... the Cell is coming down right now! The fans pop quite loudly for the Cell being lowered down towards both Cena who is in awe just looking at it and a very smug-looking Del Rio.

Michael Cole: Oh my! The Cell is coming down now, King!

Jerry Lawler: I don’t know what Alberto Del Rio is thinking; locking himself in there with John Cena tonight before they face off at Hell in a Cell!

Michael Cole: I think he is just trying to show Cena that he isn’t scared.

The Cell finally lowers down and a loud pop rings out as both men are now trapped inside. Cena removes his cap and puffs out his cheeks at the size of the structure and Del Rio stands smirking at his number one contender.

Alberto Del Rio: This... doesn’t intimidate me, Cena-

John Cena: Well actually, Berty, it aint the Cell you should be scared of. You need to let what I’m about to say go right into your head so you understand me.

Cena takes a step forward, getting inside the champion’s face.

John Cena: Berty, I don’t quite think you understand what bein’ in a Hell in a Cell match is like. This Sunday when this Cell comes over the ring and me and you are locked inside of it... you’re not going to have anywhere to run, an’ you sure as hell aint gonna have anywhere to hide!

A big pop for that as the realism of the situation becomes apparent for Del Rio.

John Cena: So there’s nothin’... I mean NOTHIN’ stoppin’ me from walkin’ outta New Orleans as the WWE CHAMPION!

A strong pop now as Cena is right in Del Rio’s face... and the champion starts to smirk.

Alberto Del Rio: John, I know ju don’t like it when I say this... but it is my destiny to leave Hell in a Cell as the WWE Champion.

John Cena: Here we go again! Same old crap coming out of your mouth, Berty! Tell me, Mister WWE Champion... why is it your “destiiiinyyyy”?

Alberto Del Rio: John, it is my destiny because I am... smarter... than ju. But you... you already know that.

Cena goes to speak again but the fans start to boo heavily; but Cena doesn’t see Ricardo Rodriguez from behind!! Rodriguez piles into Cena after coming from UNDERNEATH THE RING! The two Mexicans start to stomp away on the #1 contender to the chagrin of the fans. Del Rio drops the title belt to the floor and he tells Rodriguez to bring Cena up. Ricardo gets Cena to his feet but Cena starts to fight back!! Cena nails Rodriguez with a right hand that send him flying but Del Rio comes from behind with a Running Enziguiri!!! Cena drops to the mat in a heap and he rolls out of the ring holding his head. Del Rio looks out to the crowd after taking out his challenger but he decides to follow Cena out of the ring and he lands on the floor inside the Cell. The champion grabs Cena’s head and he smashes it against the ring apron! Cena is in trouble now as Del Rio keeps hold of him but turns him towards the Cell!! Del Rio grabs Cena and charges forwards... and sends CENA HEAD-FIRST INTO THE CELL WALL!!! Cena bounces off the Cell and drops to the floor holding his head in pain as Del Rio stands over him with a satisfied grin on his face.

Michael Cole: Oh My! What a statement made by Alberto Del Rio! He does not fear John Cena and he does not fear Hell in a Cell, what a champion!

Jerry Lawler: I’ll give the devil his due here... that was smart from Alberto Del Rio to have Ricardo Rodriguez hiding under the ring. John Cena has just had a small sample of what Alberto Del Rio is capable inside Hell in a Cell.

Michael Cole: You heard what Del Rio said! He is smarter than John Cena and he has just proved it!

Del Rio and Rodriguez have now exited the Cell and are backing up the ramp looking back at the structure with big grins on their faces. Cena is only just coming back to after taking those few shots to the head that rung his bell a bit. Del Rio absorbs the heat from the fans as he stands at the top of the ramp and holds his WWE Championship high up into the air as Raw goes off to the first commercial of the night.
*Commercial Break*

We return from commercial and it is instant heat around the arena as the Raw General Manager John Laurinaitis is sitting on his desk reading some papers. Noticeably, Rey Mysterio’s mask is still perched on the GM’s desk after the events of last week. Suddenly, a man walks into the shot... we’ve never seen him before and Laurinaitis still doesn’t realise he is there. The man is dressed in wrestling gear with the United States flag on his trunk, and smiles as he waits for Laurinaitis to notice him.

Spoiler for The Smiling Man:
Its Consequences Creed from TNA.... the picture won't fucking work.

With Laurinaitis still not paying any attention to him, the man just goes for it.

Smiling Man: Hey... Mr Laurinaitis?

Laurinaitis comically drops all of his papers on the floor after having the life scared out him, and as you can understand he isn’t happy.

John Laurinaitis: Who are you and what are you doing in my office?

Xavier Woods: I’m really glad you asked that, Mr Laurinaitis. I’m Xavier Woods... and I’m the newest member of the Raw roster.

Woods holds his hand out to Laurinaitis as a show of respect, but Laurinaitis slaps the youngster’s hand away which causes Woods to frown a little. He looks back up to Laurinaitis who is irate at this point.

John Laurinaitis: I didn’t sign you to Monday Night Raw... so would you mind getting-

Xavier Woods: Mr Laurinaitis, I know that you didn’t sign me to Raw. I was signed to Raw by the new Executive Vice President of Talent Relations.

A nice pop for Woods for having the balls to interrupt Johnny. Laurinaitis looks too angry for words at this point.

Xavier Woods: Well... I’m going to go and watch the rest of the show now... sir?

Woods looks a little confused at Laurinaitis’ lack of response amidst his rage... and he slowly walks out of the shot; keeping his eyes on the GM with a nervous look on his face. The camera stays on Johnny’s face as he glares in the direction of the way that Woods walked in.

We’re back into the arena now and Evan Bourne is making his way into the ring, slapping hands with the fans as he walks down the ramp. He has a look of concern plastered across his face however as everyone knows what he is about to get himself into.

Michael Cole: Well, there you have it, folks! Xavier Woods is the newest member of the Raw roster! I don’t think John Laurinaitis seemed very happy about our latest addition though.

Jerry Lawler: That is because he is no longer the Executive Vice President of Talent Relations! But I think what we’re about to witness could bring a smile back to our General Manager’s face. Unfortunately I can’t say the same for Evan Bourne.

Michael Cole: Well everything that Evan Bourne is about to get is what he deserves. He opened his mouth last week and disrespected John Laurinaitis and now he’ll suffer the same fate as Rey Mysterio did last week. Evan has no one to blame but himself!

Jerry Lawler: For those that missed Raw last week, the newest member of John Laurinaitis’ Administration, Brodus Clay, made his debut and he has put Rey Mysterio on the injured list... indefinitely.

Bourne is now in the ring and he plays to a crowd a little bit as he bounces on the spot to try and get himself in the zone. His music fades out and there is silence in the arena now as Bourne braces himself for what comes next.

There is solid heat in the arena now as Brodus Clay storms out onto the stage with a smirk on his face. We can see on the tron as part of his entrance video there are splices of him destroying Rey Mysterio last week. Clay snarls as he walks down the aisle, paying no attention to the fans as he does, his eyes locked firmly on Bourne. Evan has his head in his hands as he now realises what he has gotten himself in to.

Michael Cole: Ha! Look at Bourne’s face! It’s only just came to Evan Bourne’s attention what he has signed himself up for; he said he wasn’t scared of Brodus Clay last week but I think he might have had a change of heart now!

Jerry Lawler: Rey Mysterio is Evan’s idol! Last week this brute Brodus Clay took him out... showing a total lack of respect!

Michael Cole: He was teaching Rey Mysterio a lesson! Rey went against John Laurinaitis, he defied him. And Brodus Clay solved that problem for Johnny. I don’t think Rey is going to be getting on Johnny’s bad side any time soon... I don’t actually think he’ll be doing anything soon! Haha!

Jerry Lawler: I’d just like to apologize to Rey and his family for those comments. Everyone here at the WWE wishes Rey Mysterio the swiftest of recoveries.

Clay gets into the ring and just smiles at Bourne who tries to look as defiant as he can. Clay lifts his arm up into the air to some more heat before he retreats back to the corner whilst the referee does his final checks. Clay’s music fades out and there is a loud buzz in the arena as the behemoth now hunches forwards and his hands are twitching at the thought of being able to prey on Bourne. The referee calls for the bell and Bourne slaps himself in the face to fire himself up.

Match One:
Brodus Clay vs Evan Bourne

The bell rings and both men stand still for a moment in their corners and Clay is almost beckoning Bourne to come for him. Evan doesn’t take the bait and waits some more for Clay to approach and sure enough the big man can’t help himself and he charges right towards Bourne in the corner but Evan gets out of the way! Clay stops himself from colliding with the turnbuckle but he can’t dodge the stinging kick to the back of the knee from Bourne! Big Brodus barely flinches from the kick and then Bourne comes in with another one! Clay now turns around and he grabs Bourne around the neck and throws him into the turnbuckle!! Bourne is trapped and Brodus starts to fire away with rapid right and left hands! Bourne can’t even begin to fight back but thankfully for young Evan the referee is forced to come and break it up. Clay backs off and Bourne starts to stumble forwards clutching his stomach and Clay scoops him up and splats him down onto the mat with a Scoop Slam!! Bourne’s back arches on the mat and the fans boo at the sight of Clay being dominant in the early goings of the match. Evan gets back up to his feet and backs back into the corner and Clay charges in and crushes Bourne up against it!!!

Evan stumbles out of the corner once again and Clay charges into the ropes and back towards Bourne.... and collides with a Flying Headbutt to Bourne’s chest!! Evan is turned inside out and Clay goes for a cover! One...Two...Thr-NO!! Bourne get the shoulder up to the shock of everyone in the arena and Cole says that is Evan was smart he would have just let Clay win the match right then. Brodus is not happy with the kickout and he puts his hand around Evan’s head and pulls him back up to his feet. He goes to put his head in between his legs to set up for the Powerbomb but Bourne is able to crawl through Clay’s legs and he gets out onto the apron. Bourne stands up and Clay comes bounding in but Bourne uses the ropes to kick his foot up and catches Clay in the side of the head!! Brodus stumbles back following the shot. Bourne charges over to the turnbuckle and he leaps right up onto the top rope. He jumps off of the top and connects with a Heel Kick from the top rope!! But Clay still doesn’t go down!! Bourne has a look of desperation on his face and he runs against the ropes and come back with a dropkick to the back of Clay’s knee that knocks Clay’s leg out and brings him down to a knee. Bourne now goes to hit Clay with a right hand but Clay dodges and he grabs Bourne with one hand by the back of the neck and lifts him up... planting him down on his face!!

The unique move from Clay leaves Bourne sprawled out on the canvas on his front and Clay gets back up to his feet as if he didn’t take any hits at all. Clay runs the ropes again and this time he drops an elbow down across Bourne’s back! Evan cries out in pain after the 350+ lbs is dropped onto him but he doesn’t have a chance to recover as the machine-like Clay brings him back up to his feet and Irish Whips him into the ropes. Bourne comes back towards Clay and Brodus elevates him up into the air... and catches him on the way down with a SAMOAN DROP!!! The fans cry “OOH!” at that as Bourne lies on the mat like a stone following that move but it seems that Clay is still.not.done. Obviously still brewing after the kickout before, Clay has a look of pure anger on his face as he grabs poor Evan and brings him up to his feet and puts his head in between his legs again. Bourne’s body hangs limp as Clay lifts him up with consummate ease... and he spins around in a couple of times and he plants Bourne with a SPINNING SIT DOWN POWERBOMB!!!! Evan lands right on the back of his neck and Clay pulls him back towards him and makes a cover...One...Two...Three!

Winner: Brodus Clay (5.53)

Clay gets up to his feet and has his arm raised in quick fashion by the referee as the official now calls for help from the back for Bourne who hasn’t moved a muscle after taking that sick move from Clay. Within a few seconds, a team of medics are once again charging down the ramp to check on Bourne. Clay looks down on the scene and smiles at the crumpled Evan still on the mat.

Jerry Lawler: Wow... I hope those medics are able to patch Evan up safely after that match. I mean, Evan was able to get a fair few shots in on big Brodus but they didn’t affect him one bit.

Michael Cole: This Brodus Clay is the real deal, King. If anyone out there doubted the power of the Laurinaitis Administration before he came onto the scene I am sure they have re-evaluated their opinion by now.

Jerry Lawler: I just hope that Evan Bourne is alright.

Michael Cole: He said he wasn’t scared of Brodus Clay and now he is facing the consequences of that; good riddance, he got what he deserved. Can we just look at that Powerbomb again please?

A replay is shown on the Tron of the finish of the match and Clay looks up at it with a smirk as the replays show the way that Bourne landed on his neck following the move. Clay drops down off of the apron and starts to plod back up the ramp as Raw goes to its second commercial.
*Commercial Break*

Backstage once more now and we see the smiling face of Matt Striker plastered on the screen as he is all ready and prepped for another ground-breaking interview.

Matt Striker: Ladies and Gentlemen, my guests at this time are two men that will face The Awesome Truth this Sunday at Hell in a Cell... I give you CM Punk and Kofi Kingston!

There’s an extremely loud pop for that in the arena as CM Punk walks into the right side of the shot and Kofi Kingston appears on the left side of Striker. Both men appear to be in confident moods ahead of the big match this Sunday.

Matt Striker: Punk, Kofi, thank you for joining me at this time. Punk, I’ll start with you... Last week you were having a match with your friend Kofi Kingston and then The Awesome Truth attacked you both and announced that you and Kofi will team up to face them at Hell in a Cell. Where is your mind at heading into this match?

CM Punk: Well Matt I presume by you asking that question that you are referring to the fact that I have been focused on finding out why I keep getting screwed out of the WWE Championship by Kevin Nash?

The fans boo at Nash’s name being mentioned and Striker gives Punk a look to say “Yeah, that is what I meant”.

CM Punk: John Laurinaitis and his Administration seem to think that because I have been focussing all of my efforts on Kevin Nash that my mind might not be one hundred percent into our Tag Team Match this Sunday. Well the thing is gentlemen is that for the next six days, I’m moving Kevin Nash outta my head and I am setting my sights on The Miz and R-Truth.

A solid cheer in the arena for that; Kofi smiles at that.

CM Punk: Y’see, I have a good friend as a partner this Sunday and it isn’t fair on Kofi Kingston if I’m looking over my shoulder for a seven- foot senior citizen.

Kofi Kingston: Haha... I appreciate that, Punk. Matt, last week Punk and I were tearin’ it up out there and I was enjoying every second of it. What annoys me is that not only did the WWE Universe not find out how that match would finish... but I didn’t find out how it would finish.

Kofi smiles and Punk nods his head.

Kofi Kingston: But we can save that for another time...

CM Punk: Before we think of anything like that we do have some business to deal with this Sunday first. Hey Kof, I just remembered something!

Kofi raises an eyebrow and Striker holds his microphone a little closer to try and get an insight.

CM Punk: Funkman can’t know his WWE History because he put Kofi and I together as a team to face The Awesome Truth at Hell in a Cell... but we’ve done something that The Awesome Truth have yet to do; we’ve been Tag Team Champions.

A strong pop from the fans.

Kofi Kingston: And depending on how The Awesome Truth fares tonight... we could become two-time Tag Team Champions this Sunday.

Another firm pop and Striker clears his throat to indicate he would like to cut in.

Matt Striker: Kofi, you sound awfully confident considering it has been almost three years since you and Punk were Tag Team Champions, don’t you think-

Kofi Kingston: Matt, I’m gonna stop you there. My whole career people have underestimated me, and Punk can say the same for himself.

Punk nods at that.

Kofi Kingston: So now it is time for things to change; I want people to start to take Kofin Kingston seriously from now on. I’ve took Punk to his limits last week and I took Alberto Del Rio to his limits a few weeks ago on Raw. I’ve proven time and time again that I shouldn’t be underestimated.

Striker seems a little taken aback and Kofi continues his tirade however.

Kofi Kingston: So of course I’m confident that Punk and I will beat The Awesome Truth at Hell in a Cell. It is time for me to reach my full potential; and I’m startin’ at Hell in a Cell. C’mon Punk, let’s go.

Kofi seems a little annoyed as it appears that Striker has lit a fire underneath him. Punk hangs back for a moment and awkwardly stares at Matt.

CM Punk: I think you might have pissed him off a little bit right there...

Punk looks at the camera and shrugs his shoulders before following his partner off screen, leaving a very confused Matt Striker.

We’re back in the arena now and there is a decent level of heat for the United States Champion Dolph Ziggler, who walks out wearing a jacket and trousers; not in action tonight. Accompanying him as usual as Vickie Guerrero who applauds her top client as he smirks out to the crowd, stroking the title on his shoulder. When they get to the bottom of the ramp they skip the ring and head towards the commentary booth. Once at the table they both take a seat.

Michael Cole: Yeah! We’re getting some real stars here on commentary tonight, King! It is the United States Champion along with Vickie Guerrero! Guys, how are ya?

Dolph Ziggler: I’m great thanks, Michael. We’re just out here to watch some great action.

Michael Cole: Ah so it is a scouting mission for the United States Champion and his beautiful manager, Vickie Guerrero. The winner of this next match will go on to Hell in a Cell this Sunday to face you for the United States Title.

Jerry Lawler: That isn’t the only reason they’re out here...

Vickie Guerrero: And what is that supposed to mean, Jerry?

King refuses to answer the question which could prove to be the wiser decision considering the last time he slandered a Superstar he was battered by David Otunga. All attention goes back to the entrance ramp and a familiar Scot’s face is plastered across the screen.

It was of course the gentle guitar chords that prelude ‘Broken Dreams’ by Shaman’s Harvest that everyone could hear that got everyone’s attention. There is more of a mixed reaction than anything in the arena for Drew McIntyre as he walks out onto the stage looking extremely smug and pleased at the opportunity he has been given. He nods his head in Ziggler’s direction before he starts to walk down the ramp.

Jerry Lawler: This is what I’m talkin’ about Vickie! I’ve never really seen eye-to-eye with Drew McIntyre but do you and Dolph really expect him to just lie down at Hell in a Cell and let Dolph pin him?

Dolph Ziggler: If he is smart, which he is, Drew will lie down for me on Sunday. He is being offered the opportunity of a LIFETIME.

Vickie Guerrero: Look at what I have done for Dolph; he is the United States Champion and a former World Heavyweight Champion. Drew’s career had fallen into the wayside but now he has the chance to experience the same kinds of success that Dolph has had.

Jerry Lawler: From what I sounded like last week, you two just needed some idiot to do your dirty work!

Michael Cole: King will you show some respect! Drew McIntyre should be grateful for what Dolph and Vickie are doing for him!

Vickie Guerrero: He will be grateful when he becomes one of the top Superstars in the WWE. Go Drew!

McIntyre gets into the ring and he points to the clapping Guerrero at the table and Dolph merely just waves a hand forwards towards him as he watches intently. McIntyre though gets straight back into his focus now as he turns to the ramp. The music fades out and Drew is now being booed by the fans. He smiles and focuses at the stage.

A very loud pop reverberates around the arena for the very over Alex Riley and he walks out onto the stage jumping up and down on the spot. He looks around the arena and shouts out to the fans before bounding down the ramp, his gaze locked on McIntyre in the ring.

Michael Cole: Well here comes Alex Riley; and he has previously had some problems with Drew McIntyre on WWE Superstars and tonight they get the chance to end this dispute live on Monday Night Raw. Dolph, what would you think of A-Ry facing you at Hell in a Cell?

Dolph Ziggler: Michael, you know that isn’t going to happen. I’ve seen Alex these past few weeks... yeah he’s been winning matches but anyone can do that against sub-par opponents. Drew McIntyre is much more than that.

Vickie Guerrero: Alex Riley is lazy; he does the bare minimum. He might be winning matches but he isn’t impressing anyone.

Jerry Lawler: Sorry, and when was the last time that Dolph was in a match on Raw? Lately it seems that all he does is talk and not compete.

Dolph Ziggler: I competed at Night of Champions and I’m competing this Sunday you idiot.

Riley slaps hands with the fans, and he fist bumps the ‘JAM CENA’ kid/guy which causes him to mark out once again. Riley gets into the ring and he jumps onto the turnbuckle to a good reaction and motions around his waist that he is gunning for a title; still riding off of the momentum he built up a few months ago after breaking off from The Miz. His music fades out and it appears that this #1 Contender’s Match is about ready to go!

Match Two:
#1 Contender’s Match – United States Championship:
Alex Riley vs Drew McIntyre

The bell rings and both men quickly meet in the centre of the ring with a lock up. They are pretty even as it starts out, but soon enough Riley starts to force Drew back into the corner. The referee comes in and breaks it up which irritates A-Ry. Drew takes advantage as he reaches over the referee and lands a stiff right hand that rocks Riley right in the face which knocks him back a few steps. McIntyre brushes past the referee and he follows up with a knee lift that causes Alex to fall stand back upright, even though a little dazed. Drew now grabs him, elevates him up and plants him onto the mat with a decisive Scoop Slam. McIntyre smiles at his early period of dominance and he backs against the ropes before dropping a shoulder across Riley’s neck. He goes for a cover and drives the forearm into Riley’s face...One...Tw-Kick out! A respectable pop as Riley kicks out to no surprise. Alex starts to get back up but McIntyre is right on top of him; laying into his chest with stomps that start to knock Riley away and into the corner. Guerrero starts to praise Drew on commentary and Ziggler just nods his head in agreement. Riley is now seated against the bottom and middle turnbuckles and Drew takes a few paces back across the ring. He measures the run up before charging in and smashing his knee right into Riley’s face!! A-Ry is knocked through a loop already in this match and we fade out to a commercial.

*Commercial Break*

Coming back and McIntyre is still all over Riley as he has him locked in what looks like a mean Abdominal Stretch in the centre of the ring. Riley yelps out in pain as he winces and tries to find his way out of the hold. McIntyre shows no sign of letting up on the hold as he yanks back on Riley’s head which causes the stretch to become even more severe. The fans whip up a “RILEY” chant for the very-over superstar who uses this to start forcing himself out of the hold. He gets his leg untangled from between Drew’s and he elbows the Scotsman in the ribs that knock McIntyre back so it is now just a rear headlock from McIntyre, but Riley uses his vertical base to back both himself and Drew into the ropes and A-Ry sends McIntyre into the ropes on the other side of the ring and he meets him with a Hip Toss!! Riley isn’t going full force as he is hurting from Drew’s vicious assault already. He waits on McIntyre to get back up again, before he runs through him with a clothesline!! The fans pop and Drew is right back up once again and he runs straight into another clothesline from Riley!! Alex is pumped now and McIntyre gets back up to his feet once again, and he swings for Riley but the shot is ducked and Riley lifts McIntyre up from behind.... and he walks over to the ropes; and he crotches McIntyre on the top rope!!!

Ziggler winces in pain just from seeing that, and McIntyre has his eyes widen open after that, and he falls to the side and OUT of the ring onto the floor where he holds his nether regions and tries to make his way back up to his feet with the help of the ring barricade. Riley starts to fire up the crowd in the arena as he bounces up and down on the spot in the centre of the ring whilst waving his arms up in the air to pump the WWE Universe up. When he sees that McIntyre is back up to his feet, Riley runs back against the ropes and he darts across the ring. He reaches the ropes next to where McIntyre is and he leaps over the top rope and lands on McIntyre with a Vaulting Body Press!! The impressive move has all of the fans in attendance on their feet popping hard for A-Ry, who motions around his waist one more time. He points at Ziggler before he picks Drew back up and rolls him into the ring. McIntyre rolls into the centre of the ring onto his back, and instead of sliding back into the ring, Riley jumps up onto the apron and he starts to climb up the turnbuckle! This isn’t Alex’s usual area of expertise, but he tries his best to get up onto the top rope and balance himself. After a little wobble, he stands up straight and jumps off of the turnbuckle now... looking for a Splash-But Drew got the knees up!!!

Riley is left holding his stomach once more and it takes a proper hit after falling from a great height right onto Drew’s knees. He doesn’t let it down to long as he bounces up against the turnbuckle and uses it to bring himself back up to his feet, whilst Drew uses the opposite corner to get back to his feet as well; both men have their eyes locked on the other. McIntyre is the first one to charge, btu Riley sidesteps him in his corner, but Drew stops himself from colliding with the turnbuckle. He turns around and Riley starts to score big time with some hard right hands to the face and head. The referee comes in again to stop Riley, and Drew takes advantage of it once again with a big kick to the mid section that leaves Riley keeled over in the ring. McIntyre goes over to him and quickly attempts to hook A-Ry’s arms up... Future Shock-NO! Riley turns out of it and McIntyre comes back and now Alex scoops him up onto his shoulders! There’s another communal pop in the arena and Riley sets up for the TKO-But McIntyre slides off of A-Ry’s shoulders! Drew pushes Riley forwards and he Riley stops himself and turns around... right into a Big Boot from McIntyre!! Alex is knocked flat out on his back and McIntyre wastes no time at all picking him up... and he hooks Alex’s arms up once more; and plants him to the canvas with the FUTURE SHOCK DDT!!! There is a lot of booing in the Mohegan and now Drew goes for another pin, hooking the leg this time! One...Two...Three!!

Winner and #1 Contender for the United States Championship: Drew McIntyre (10:01)

McIntyre gets straight up to his feet with a massive smile on his face as he looks around the arena whilst having his arm raised by the referee. He even gets up onto the middle turnbuckle and holds his arms out to absorb the heat from the fans. Notably, Ziggler and Guerrero have gotten up from their seats and are both applauding McIntyre, but now Ziggler starts to walk towards the ring with his title in his hand. He gets into the ring and stares right at the jubilant McIntyre. Ziggler holds the United States Championship forwards and says “Don’t get any ideas this Sunday. One more thing and then you’re in”. McIntyre looks back at Dolph with a little hint of a frown but he then starts to smile as he realises that already he is ascertaining more success as he has just won a match cleanly on Raw. McIntyre looks right at Ziggler and holds his hand out, and Ziggler shakes Drew’s hand; the agreement set firmly in place.

Michael Cole: Now I think that Drew McIntyre has proved his ability tonight by winning this match against Alex Riley, but this Sunday at Hell in a Cell he now has to prove his loyalty to Dolph Ziggler and Vickie Guerrero.

Jerry Lawler: I personally think that Drew shouldn’t lie down for Dolph; he is a true professional and lying down and letting someone pin you is the act of someone without a spine.

Michael Cole: But Drew McIntyre could move onto bigger and better things under Vickie Guerrero’s influence. He scored an impressive win over Alex Riley tonight and who knows what the future will hold for this young man.

Jerry Lawler: But he’ll be taking one step forwards tonight and three steps back by lying down and letting his opponent pin him at Hell in a Cell. If he was smart he’d just hit Dolph with a Future Shock DDT when he isn’t expecting it and become the United States Champion.

Guerrero has now joined the two men in the ring and she now stands in between them and raises each man’s arm into the air to make what looks like an extremely well-fitting sight. Ziggler and Guerrero now turn to leave the ring; and Drew is left pondering what his options are for this Sunday.

The screen now goes backstage and we can see that The Miz and R-Truth are both walking towards the screen, talking amongst themselves. We come in mid flow.

The Miz: So Truth, tonight is the night that we become the WWE Tag Team Champions.

R-Truth: Yeah it’s gonna be good. Do we need to talk about tic tacs?

The Miz: Tic Tacs? Really, Truth? Really? Look, all you need to be concerned about is winning out there tonight, and following...my...lead.

Truth nods his head in understanding.

The Miz: And let me make this clear; I am going to be the one that wins this match for us tonight.

R-Truth: Dat’s fine... as long as I get to have the shinier belt.

There is a few laughs in the arena as Miz looks at Truth as if to say “Are you serious?” but it is apparent that Truth is actually being serious.

The Miz: What? Oh forget it... c’mon let’s go.

Miz walks away back towards the cameras and Truth looks a little confused as The Awesome Truth head towards the cameras; The camera focusing on Miz’s determined face as we head out for a commercial.

*Commercial Break*

There is nothing but pure, unadulterated HEAT coming from the fans in the Mohegan Sun Arena as the music of the Raw General Manager, John Laurinaitis blares out over the speaker system. After a few seconds, the man himself walks out onto the stage dressed in a suit and he waves out to his “fans”. Making the booing even louder, the man accompanying Johnny down to the ring is none other than Brodus Clay; who wears a smirk on his face after mauling Evan Bourne earlier on. Johnny leads his troop down towards the ring and he picks up a microphone as he steps into the ring. Michael Cole... is standing up and applauding.

Jerry Lawler: Would you sit down, you idiot?

Michael Cole: Jerry, just because you don’t want to show the greatest man in the WWE any respect doesn’t mean that I won’t.

Jerry Lawler: The greatest man in the WWE? You mean the man responsible for Rey Mysterio, and now as we’ve learned, Evan Bourne as well, being on the injured list because he fed them to Brodus Clay? What a hero.

Johnny is now standing in the centre of the ring with a microphone in his hands. He is still smiling out at the fans booing him, whilst Clay just paces a little in the background; happy to just look hard in the back. Laurinaitis raises his hand up to signal his music being cut out which unearths the “YOU SUCK” chants from the fans.

John Laurinaitis: My name is J-

“YOU SUCK! YOU SUCK! YOU SUCK!” Johnny’s solution is just to shout over the crowd.

John Laurinaitis: My name is John Laurinaitis and I am the Permanent General Manager of Monday Night Raw.

It seems like the fans will boo everything he says.... which is understandable.

John Laurinaitis: Ever since I became General Manager of this show, I have been assembling a super group. It is not something I initially wanted to do but after experiencing the first two weeks on the job; I’m glad I did it.

People aren’t sure where he is going with this.

John Laurinaitis: Raw Superstars have been out to get me; they’ve threatened me and confronted me. I am an important man, I can’t afford to be hurt by one of my Superstars.

More heat as everyone realises he is spewing total bollocks.

John Laurinaitis: But this group’s sole purpose is not to protect me, no; this group’s purpose is to succeed.

Clay nods his head and now Laurinaitis turns around to the beast.

John Laurinaitis: Take Brodus Clay, here. I knew he was coming to Monday Night Raw; I was the guy that signed him to the WWE!

More booing and Clay smiles now.

John Laurinaitis: I know what this man is capable of... and let me assure you all; what you have seen so far from him is just the start. Rey Mysterio and Evan Bourne went against me and they paid the consequences; just like any other Raw Superstar that acts against me or speaks against me. I’m not going to try and gloss it over... that is how this show works now.

John Laurinaitis: I want all of my Superstars to succeed; but let me just say that it will be a lot easier for all of you if you if you don’t cross me.

There is almost silence in the arena now as it seems a whole cloud has been put above everything.

John Laurinaitis: That is what Rey Mysterio and Evan Bourne found out the hard way; and what our Tag Team Champions are about to find out, too. It is time for the Laurinaitis Administration to win our first championships!

The fans now come back to life following that chillingly honest promo from Laurinaitis and the WWE Universe is back to its booing ways for The Awesome Truth; The Miz and R-Truth. Miz is dressed in his long black jacket and Truth with his white gangsta vest and they are both in high spirits as they walk down to the ring to join their Administration-mates.

Jerry Lawler: I think tonight could mark the start of a new era in WWE after what John Laurinaitis just said; he assembled this group so he could hurt the Superstars that go against him?

Michael Cole: No! This group of individuals are driven by success! Did you not hear what Johnny said?

Jerry Lawler: Well I heard what I heard; and Raw’s future does not look very bright if that is the case. Also, these guys can show up on Smackdown too if they win the titles tonight!

Michael Cole: That would be AWESOME! See what I did there? Wow, this is a great sight!

Awesome Truth join their comrades in the ring and Laurinaitis shakes hands with both Miz and Truth, and Miz goes and slaps Clay on the back before he smiles at the monster who didn’t look too impressed by that. The four men all stand in the centre of the ring for the first time as a complete unit. They absorb the heat from the fans, possibly even welcoming it. ‘Shut Up’ fades out and the “YOU SUCK!” chants are back. All men look pleased with themselves until...

Finally the fans have something to cheer about as the reigning WWE Tag Team Champions Santino Marella and Vladimir Kozlov come out onto the stage. Santino has his title around his waist as he does the trumpet taunt across the stage, but Kozlov puts his hand on his shoulder and points to the men in the ring, and Santino instantly freezes still at the sight of Brodus Clay. This makes the beast smile a little, but The Odd Couple make their way down to the ring, with Kozlov leading a very scared Marella by the arm.

Michael Cole: How dare... HOW DARE these two goons interrupt the Laurinaitis Administration?! The fact that these two are the best tag team in the WWE is a joke, ladies and gentlemen; a disgrace.

Jerry Lawler: The Odd Couple earned their shot by beating two other teams at once and then beat the champions at the Pay-Per-View for the titles. They even defended them against those boring idiots last week!

Michael Cole: Well they’ve never faced a team like The Awesome Truth before! Eight days, huh? Great reign.

Standing outside the ring, Santino shouts for the referee to get Brodus out of the ring which makes the referee grimace but he is able to politely ask Johnny and Brodus to evacuate the ring which they do. The Odd Couple now get into the ring to stare at their challengers for the evening and remove their belts whilst Awesome Truth takes off their jackets.

Match Three:
WWE Tag Team Championship Match:
The Odd Couple © vs The Awesome Truth
w/ John Laurinaitis & Brodus Clay

It is already decided that Truth will start off the match for The Awesome Truth, but the champions revert to a quick game of Rock, Paper, Scissors to decide who goes in; Santino throws out Scissors and Kozlov breaks them with Rock! The fans pop as Truth’s eyes widen at the sight of the Moscow Mauler, and he turns to The Miz to try and do the same as their opponents but Miz shakes his head and points at Kozlov who grabs Truth from behind!! Kozlov uses his massive strength to lift Truth off of the ground and he throws him right onto his arse in the champions’ side of the ring!! Truth winces but that is the least of his problems as Kozlov now runs right through him with a boot to the face! Truth holds his face and Kozlov now decides to give Truth a taste of some ground ‘n’ pound with mounted strikes to the side of the head!! There is not much in the way of blocking from Truth but the referee pulls Vlad off of his target. He plucks Truth off of the mat now and forces him into the corner where Santino waits. There isn’t a tag just yet as Kozlov elects to thrust his shoulder repeatedly into Truth’s mid section! Kozlov stays in position to indicate that Santino can tag himself in and the Italian does so!

There’s a big pop in the arena as Santino gets himself into the match. He reels off a right hand to the side of Truth’s head and then another one that knocks Truth’s neck back. Santino walks back and he waits for Truth to stumble out of the corner and drills Truth with one more right hand to the face that knocks him down! The fans cheer loudly and Santino starts to walk around the ring raising his arms to fire the crowd up but he catches sight of Brodus Clay smirking at him and he stops dead in his tracks; frozen at the sight of the monster! Laurinaitis laughs and Kozlov pounds the turnbuckle in frustration but Santino’s focus comes back when R-Truth knocks him down from behind!! Santino falls to the floor and Truth is right on him with right hand lefts hands that pepper the Italian in the head and the back. Miz points out to Truth and he shouts “ARM!” and Truth then straightens Santino’s arm out on the mat and stomps right on it! Marellla screams out in pain as Truth now stands tall over him. He grabs the arm once again and wrings it out before going over to Miz and tagging him into the ring. Truth holds Santino’s arm outstretched and Miz just flat out kicks it!! Santino cries out in pain as it becomes apparent that Awesome Truth are trying to rule The Cobra out of Santino’s arsenal. Santino shakes his arm out as he recoils away and Miz turns him back around and kicks him in the stomach before turning it around into an impressive Swinging Neckbreaker!! Miz gets up and smiles out to the fans as we go to another commercial break.

*Commercial Break*

We return and still in the Tag Title Match where Santino is still at the mercy of The Awesome Truth as the Italian is locked in a Hammerlock in the centre of the ring courtesy of R-Truth. Kozlov is desperately pounding the turnbuckle pad as he tries to get Santino back into the match. Marella is trapped as it seems every time he moves, Truth locks in the hold even tighter. Laurinaitis is still playing cheerleader at ringside and he screams for Santino to tap out. Brodus Clay walks around the ring and he goes to the side where he is looking right into Santino’s eyes. Santino’s eyes widen as a sudden rush of determination overcomes his face and his leg starts to shake and bounces up and down and surely enough Santino starts to rise back up to his feet!! Marella gets a few laughs from the fans as he makes the comeback seem so much more dramatic as it should be. He is able to turn out of the hammer lock and he pushes Truth against the ropes and takes him over with a Hip Toss!! Truth holds his back in pain as he lies on the mat and Santino goes for the Saluting Headbutt-Nobody home!!! Truth rolled out of the way to kill all of Santino’s momentum and leave him diving face first into the mat. Both men now start to head towards their respective tag team partners who are both holding out their arms for a tag. It becomes clear that Santino is a lot closer to Kozlov than Truth is to The Miz and Marella is only a few mere inches away from getting the tag... but The Miz comes in and he pulls Santino all the way back across the ring!!!

Ungodly heat all around the arena now as Santino is right in Awesome truth territory once more. Kozlov tries to get in there but the referee stops him from interfering so Miz uses the chance to get in a powerful boot to Santino’s face! Truth is now back up to his feet and he lays into Santino with another hard stomp before tagging The Miz back into the match. Miz slowly brings Santino up to his feet by holding him by his face and he snarls at him “YOU... are a JOKE!” before SLAPPING Santino right across the face!! The force behind the strike causes Santino to stumble backwards right into the turnbuckle where he holds his face in pain, but Miz walks across the ring to the opposite corner... and he smashes Santino with the Seated Corner Clothesline!! Miz sits on the turnbuckle, being applauded by Laurinaitis but booed by all of the fans. Santino struggles out of the corner once more and Miz stalks him from behind. He goes to hook up The Skull Crushing Finale!!-But Santino rolls through!! Miz is sent packing across the ring but he is right back up to his feet, instead of going for the tag, Santino charges at The Miz... and is ploughed down by a Big Boot to the face!! Santino is laid out and Miz quickly jumps on top for the cover....One...Two...Thr-NO!! A loud cheer for Santino kicking out of it that causes Miz to pound the mat in frustration, and Santino’s resilience is noted by Lawler; which Cole retorts at Miz taking it easy on him. Miz brings Marella up again to his feet and goes for another big move as he applies the ¾ Facelock... and powers Santino’s face into the mat with a Snapmare Driver!! Marella is SPIKED onto the canvas and he flops back around onto his back; so Miz can make another cover! One...Two....Thre-KOZLOV BREAKS THE COUNT!!!

The Russian stomps on the back of The Miz’s head to stop the pin attempt and Laurinaitis is furious at that. Miz holds the back of his head and he goes to tag in Truth. R-Truth, still basically fresh like Miz, starts to direct traffic and he says that he has an idea. He instructs Miz to hold Santino up in place, which he does. Truth now rebounds off of the ropes and goes for a LIE DETECTOR-SANTINO MOVES--- AND TRUTH WIPES HIS PARTNER OUT!! Miz falls to the mat and he rolls out of the ring after being creamed by Truth. Truth gets up to his feet after the spinning theatrics and he looks around and notices that Miz is nowhere to be seen and Laurinaitis has his hands on his head... Truth’s eyes widen as he realises what happened, all the while allowing Santino to TAG IN KOZLOV!!! Truth catches Vlad coming out of the corner of his eyes but it doesn’t save him from being flattened by a huge clothesline! Truth is right back up again and he storms towards the big Russian and is floored by a boot to the chest!! Kozlov is right back on him and he picks him up and traps the arms and delivers chest-caving headbutts to Truth’s chest!! Kozlov deems that three of these will be enough, and he throws Truth overhead with a Belly-to-Belly Suplex!! Kozlov roars out to the fans and they reply with a decent cheer for one half of the champions’ flurry. Kozlov now waits on Truth to get up from that move; ready for the Iron Curtain... but The Miz comes back from behind and clubs Kozlov in the back of the head!! Miz starts to pound away on Vladimir, and he whips him into the ropes, despite not being the legal man, but Santino was up on the apron and he blind tagged himself back into the match!!

Miz and Truth didn’t see it but the referee did which is the important thing!! Kozlov comes back to Miz and knocks him down with a giant headbutt to the chest that pushes Miz all the way back across the ring and into the ropes in front of the announce tables.... Kozlov charges in and clotheslines The Miz over the top rope... and he goes over himself; both men landing in a heap at ringside!!! With those two out of the match for the time being, the two legal men now find themselves back in the action, as Truth and Santino start to trade blows in the centre of the ring! Santino starts to get the better of it, and he whips Truth across the ring, but Truth comes back and manages to hit Santino with the Lie Detector this time!!! The fans boo as Truth now waits for Marella to get up; knowing he has to win this match by himself now. Everyone knows what is coming up and gives heat as a result... as Truth lines Santino up...

The fans go fucking MENTAL in the arena because CM PUNK walks out onto the stage!!! He smiles out to everyone and Truth in the ring turns around to look at what is happening, leaving Santino on the mat. Laurinaitis and Clay immediately come to the bottom of the ramp and Johnny sends Clay up the ramp to get rid of Punk. The referee comes out of the ring to try and stop Clay from causing a scene and to instruct Punk to leave.... but the fans in the arena cheer even louder now because KOFI KINGSTON IS IN THE RING!!! Kingston came in through the crowd!! Truth turns around to follow up on Santino; but walks right into TROUBLE IN PARADISE!!! Truth is laid out and Kofi leaves the ring and hides behind the steel steps as the referee turns around and sees that Santino is now on top of Truth... The referee sprints down to the ring, irking the attention of Laurinaitis.... Ref slides into the ring and counts the pin! ONE...TWO....THREE!!! PUNK AND KOFI SCREW THE ADMINISTRATION!!!

Winners: The Odd Couple (16:13)

The fans go crazy at the way the match finished as Santino gets up to his feet looking shocked; all fo these stars out here and Santino Marella is the man standing tall in the ring. Kozlov slides back in as well and he has the titles and hands one over to Santino and the two champions celebrate in the ring... that is until Brodus Clay slides into the ring and hits a double clothesline on the Tag Team Champions!! The fans boo the monster as he now grabs both Marella and Kozlov by the back of their necks and throws them out of the ring.... but he turns around into a double dropkick... from Punk and Kofi!!! The fans’ reactions change every three seconds as the boots to the chest and face leave Clay stumbling on his feet and now the partners for this Sunday start to hammer away on the big man!! Punk tells Kofi to back away and he scores with a Roundhouse kick to the back of Clay’s head that knocks him forwards but not down... but Kofi’s turn now... TROUBLE IN PARADISE TO CLAY!!! But he still doesn’t go down!! Everyone is shocked as Punk and Kofi stand there wondering what to do... but The Awesome Truth from behind!! Miz and Truth are obviously pissed after being cost the Tag Titles and they knock the men responsible down and lay into them with stomps and punches. Laurinaitis deems it safe to slide into the ring now and direct traffic as his three soldiers start to beat away on Punk and Kofi. The crowd are booing as loud as possible at the sight in the ring... but everyone is left standing still once again now...

It’s TRIPLE H!!!! The COO of the WWE charges down the ramp removing his suit jacket and ripping his tie off as he comes down to the ring to make the save!! The Game slides into the ring but just as he does, all four members of the Laurinaitis Administration scarper out of the ring, and Triple H dares them all to come back in! Laurinaitis leads his troops towards and then up the ramp, Miz and Truth having to hold Clay back from getting some of Triple H. Punk and Kofi now make their way back up to their feet; smiling at the Administration as the little beating they got was worth what they did tonight.

Jerry Lawler: I don’t think CM Punk, Kofi Kingston and Triple H were listening to what John Laurinaitis was saying earlier!! I think this Administration has some opposition, and the opposition strikes the first blow tonight!

Michael Cole: This isn’t smart; these guys aren’t going to get themselves anywhere by doing this.

Jerry Lawler: Are you blind, Michael? That is the Chief Operating Officer of this company; and I don’t think that he is in favour of this... dictatorship. This is a dictatorship!

Punk and Triple H exchange a look to each other as neither man has ever really seen eye to eye but Punk is thankful for the save, before both men go back to staring a hole through the LA who are all now on the stage, the three wrestlers involved all seething... but nothing compares to the crimson red shade of John Laurinaitis’ face.

Back into the arena now for the shot of the commentators for DAT RUNDOWN~!

Michael Cole: That is right, folks; this Sunday in New Orleans, Lousiana, the WWE presents Hell in a Cell! We’re going to see not one, but TWO Hell in a Cell Matches. These matches have the potential to change lives and end careers!

Jerry Lawler: And in one of those highly-anticipated Hell in a Cell matches, the WWE Championship is going to be on the line! Alberto Del Rio faces his toughest challenge yet when he defends against John Cena!

Michael Cole: Well Del Rio showed us earlier what he is capable of inside that Cell when he rammed John Cena head first into the Cell earlier on tonight!

Jerry Lawler: Well those two are certainly capable of causing some chaos inside Hell in a Cell this Sunday... but two men that I KNOW will put each other through Hell this Sunday is the two men battling over the World Heavyweight Championship on Smackdown; The World’s Strongest Champion Mark Henry and Sheamus!

Michael Cole: These two have been embroiled in a rivalry that has seen ring barricades being broken, announce tables smashed; they even destroyed the stage at Night of Champions!! The Cell is the only place I can think of that will stop these two beasts from bringing the entire arena down! Also, we’re going to see these two in a one-on-one Final Confrontation this Friday on Smackdown!

Jerry Lawler: We’ve just seen some carnage involving four men competing against eachother this Sunday where The Awesome Truth of the Laurinaitis Administration take on CM Punk and Kofi Kingston!

Michael Cole: The battle lines have been drawn for this one, as we saw earlier tonight. This is as personal as a tag team match will ever be, folks. There is a lot of animosity between these four men and I can’t wait for it all to come to a head at Hell in a Cell!

Jerry Lawler: There are the other variables in that match included as well, though Michael. Big Brodus Clay will be out there this Sunday, as will John Laurinaitis! CM Punk and Kofi Kingston are going to be at a disadvantage.

Michael Cole: We learnt on Smackdown this past Friday that Cody Rhodes will defend the Intercontinental Championship against William Regal, after Regal picked up a pin fall victory over Rhodes...albeit under dubious circumstances.

Jerry Lawler: What are you talkin’ about, Cole? I loved it when Rhodes got his lights knocked out!

Michael Cole: I don’t want to go into that matter any more... but an interesting situation is the one involving the United States Championship... ever since Drew McIntyre became the number one contender earlier tonight, there has been one question on everyone’s mind; is he going to lie down?

Jerry Lawler: He can shove Dolph Ziggler and Vickie Guerrero’s help if he wants to... and then he can become the United States Champion! If he was smart!

Michael Cole: But he could amount to even more with Ziggler and Guerrero’s help! Dolph is a former World Heavyweight Champion; Drew McIntyre could realise his potential by their side.

Jerry Lawler: We will have to see about that... Another match that is sure to deliver is two of Smackdown’s top stars in Wade Barrett and Randy Orton going one-on-one!

Michael Cole: This situation has been brewing for a few weeks on Smackdown, and this has started getting a little personal... Barrett called Orton a worm on Smackdown; but Orton returned the favour with an RKO to Barrett after the main event!

Jerry Lawler: And how can we forget the Divas Championship? Speaking of which; here’s the Divas Champion!

On the Tron appears the Divas Champion Beth Phoenix, with Natalya walking beside her. The Divas of Doom must be on their way out here because a small graphic appears in the bottom corner saying ‘NEXT’!

Michael Cole: There she is, the Divas Champion Beth Phoenix is all set for action ahead of her title defence this Sunday!
*Commercial Break*

We return to the show once again and we can see that The Bella Twins are in the ring, both looking as sassy as possible. They both look confident, but it drops as soon as some particular music plays over the sound system...

There is actually a pop in the arena as Beth Phoenix walks out onto the stage, with Natalya by her side. The Divas Champion raises her title above her head in the air whilst beaming out to all of the fans as she marches down to the ring with her eyes locked on The Bella Twins in the ring.

Michael Cole: I’m actually starting to enjoy watching the Divas now that Beth Phoenix is the Divas Champion. These two women are on a mission to bring the wrestling back to the women of the WWE and with that Divas Championship they have a lot of leverage.

Jerry Lawler: I will admit that I’ve not seen two Divas dominate in the way that Beth Phoenix and Natalya have in the last few years.... but every time I see them I can’t help but think that they remind me of schoolyard bullies.

Michael Cole: Well Beth is going to take on Nikki Bella tonight; her challenger this Sunday Kelly Kelly defeated Brie Bella on Smackdown; so we get a chance to see how the Bellas fare against the champion.

Jerry Lawler: Well they both got beaten up by Kelly Kelly on Smackdown... so I think they won’t do brilliantly.

Beth gets into the ring and mounts the turnbuckle, holding her title high intp the air as her awesome theme music still pumps into the arena. She drops down and hands Natalya the belt... and the Anvilette looks at it just a little too long; causing Phoenix to slap her on the shoulder jestfully and tells her “Don’t even think about it.” Before the two friends smile and Nattie leaves the ring, as does Nikki Bella.

Match Four:
Non-Title Match:

Divas Champion Beth Phoenix w/ Natalya vs Brie Bella w/ Nikki Bella

The bell rings, and Brie thinks an acceptable cause of action is to charge as fast as she can at the Divas Champion... but Beth stands firm and Brie bounces off of her and falls to the mat. Beth and Natalya laugh as the champion now plucks Brie off of the mat by pulling her up to her feet by her hair and she forcefully throws her into the corner. Phoenix now comes in with some hard shoulder blocks that cause Brie to cry out in pain. The referee comes in to try and break it all up but Beth instead whips Brie across the ring powerfully into the opposite corner and as Brie stumbles back out... Phoenix runs in and wipes her out with a SPEAR!!! The move gets a decent cheer from the fans and a tiny “EDGE” chant breaks out. Beth gets up as Brie holds her ribs in agony after being flattened by that move. Beth waits for Brie to get up to her feet... but it seems that the Spear was enough for Bella, so Beth is forced to walk up towards her and lift her up. Phoenix is quick with the go-behind and she immediately hooks her arms in between Brie’s... she lifts her up and drives her into the mat with the GLAM SLAM!! Nikki cries out as her sister is out of it, and Beth now turns her prey over for the count... One...Two...Three!! /Squash

Winner: Beth Phoenix (1:48)

The result comes as no surprise to anyone in the arena as Phoenix defiantly steps up to her feet with a smirk on her face, and Natalya slides back in to the ring and hers her pal the Divas Title. Beth has her arm raised with the hold as Natalya uses her foot to roll the downed Bella out of it and to her twin, shouting back down “This is OUR ring!” which gets a little heat, but not a lot because no one really likes The Bella Twins...

On the Titantron however, we see a very interested viewer of that match... it is only Beth’s opponent for this Sunday, Kelly Kelly! After being the picture of confidence after her dismantling of The Bella Twins on Smackdown, she now wears that look of terror that she had before Night of Champions after witnessing Beth in action. But suddenly, Eve approaches her from behind and puts her hand on Kelly’s shoulder; scaring her initially, but Kelly breaks into a large grin after realising it was Eve. Eve goes to talk to Kelly suddenly grabs her and pulls her in for a hug.

Eve: Hey, Kelly... is everything okay?

Kelly lets up and looks back at Eve; that worried expression is suddenly back on her face.

Kelly Kelly: You must have seen what Beth just did out there; now that she is champion it seems like she will be even harder to beat this Sunday.

Eve frowns a little bit.

Kelly Kelly: I was feeling really good after Smackdown but now.... I’m scared again, Eve.

Kelly shifts her eyes away and tries not to look at Eve, but Torres now puts her hand on Kelly’s arm.

Eve: I know that you can beat Beth Phoenix at Hell in a Cell, Kelly; you just have to believe in yourself. If it helps, I’ll even come down to the ring and be in your corner?

This suddenly causes Kelly’s head to look back up.

Kelly Kelly: Really?

Eve nods and Kelly’s starts to beam... before she pulls Eve in tightly for another embrace. Eve pats Kelly on the back as KK now rests her head on Eve’s and closes her eyes.

Kelly Kelly: Thank you, Eve... you don’t know how much this means to me...

Kelly tightens on the hug a little more, and the camera zooms in on the blonde’s smiling face before fading away.

Backstage again, and we’re in an office environment once again with the camera faced towards the ceiling... it pans downwards to reveal a VERY pissed off-looking Laurinaitis Administration. John Laurinaitis sits on his desk whilst The Miz and R-Truth sit on the couch next to it with Brodus Clay standing next to them. All three of the wrestlers look a little worse for wear after what they have gone through tonight. Miz is the first to break the silence as he quickly stands up; Truth comically bolting up straight after him.

The Miz: I can’t believe they did that earlier... Who... do they think they ARE?! Johnny, I want to know what you are going to do about this!

Truth’s head quickly snaps into the direction of the GM, and he grunts to a few laughs from the fans.

John Laurinaitis: Miz... please, calm down; it wasn’t just you that CM Punk and Kofi Kingston screwed tonight... it was all of us.

The Miz: I know that! But that still doesn’t change my question... What... are... you... going to do?!

John Laurinaitis: All I need to do is make one phone call, and I will have a very big surprise for CM Punk and Kofi Kingston at Hell in a Cell... Just trust me, guys.

Johnny eases up as he even smirks now, his confidence seems to calm The Miz down for now as well; as he takes his seat back, with Truth also doing the same. Back into the arena now...

Michael Cole: I don’t know what John Laurinaitis meant by that, but it seems there was some tension in the ranks just then.

Jerry Lawler: It was just The Miz letting his own ego getting in the way; whatever John Laurinaitis does have planned... it can’t be good news for CM Punk and Kofi Kingston.

There’s a decent level of heat, as somewhat unannounced, the former WWE Tag Team Champions David Otunga and Michael McGillicutty walk out onto the stage. They are both dressed in street clothes and don’t pay much attention to the fans as they walk down the ramp; maybe they need to get something off of their chests?

Jerry Lawler: Oh who invited these two chumps out here?

Michael Cole: I can agree that they weren’t announced to be on the show tonight, but they must have asked John Laurinaitis for this time.

Jerry Lawler: Well, I’m going to catch up on sleep before the main event; wake me up when they’re gone!

The former champs pick up a mic each as they climb the steps before getting into the ring. They stand in the centre of the ring with little fanfare as they wait for the music to die down. The fans don’t really react that much; more of a rumble around the arena than anything else.

Michael McGillicutty: We know that we aren’t scheduled to be in a match tonight; we weren’t even meant to be on the show tonight at all. But we asked John Laurinaitis if we could have a few minutes out here, because we have an announcement, if you want to call it that.

David Otunga: All week, we’ve been hearing rumours backstage that because of what happened last Monday night on Raw... rumours that Michael and myself are going to stop teaming together.

Otunga looks out to the fans before he carries on.

David Otunga: We can categorically tell you right now that those rumours are NOT true.
That is met by some heat from the crowd as these two don’t exactly make the most popular tag team.

Michael McGillicutty: Like every team, we are just currently experiencing a... rough patch. We’re not going to break up just because we lost the WWE Tag Team Championships at Night of Champions and our rematch last week on Raw. We’re not going to give up on becoming WWE Tag Team Champions once again.

David Otunga: Like the superior athletes we are, we’re going to get out of this rough patch and come back better than before.

The two men nod in agreement.

David Otunga: And, as much as it pains me inside to say... we might have been wrong before. Maybe we are boring and maybe we do need to add another dimension to our game if we want to beat Santino and Kozlov.

Michael McGillicutty: So we asked John Laurinaitis if we could have a few weeks off of appearing on Monday Night Raw... so we could take some time to find ourselves and train on something other than our in ring skills; because let’s be honest here, they don’t need training.

Speak for yourself, Mike...

David Otunga: We’re going to take this break as a chance to see the less serious side of being a WWE Superstar, and when we come back... no other tag team in the WWE will be able to compare to us. We will come back better... and we will become the WWE Tag Team Champions.

Michael McGillicutty: Watch this space.

They drop the mics down to the floor and now head to exit the ring once again; their message clearly sent. They drop down onto the floor and start walking up the ramp, not making any kind of fuss.

Michael Cole: Well it seems like these two young men are looking to make a real success out of this team; I didn’t see anything wrong with them in the first place!

Jerry Lawler: We haven’t seen any improvement in them tonight, but I have to respect the fact that they know what the problem is with their team.

Michael Cole: I think we could be seeing those title belts back on these two in the future. But speaking of titles, the WWE Champion Alberto Del Rio is in action in our main event... and that match is next!
*Commercial Break*

The music of the WWE Champion blares out into the Mohegan Sun Arena, and the Pennsylvania crowd respond with nothing but heat for Alberto Del Rio, who pulls up in a White Lamborghini Gallardo and beeping the horn as much as he can. The door swings open and the WWE Champion steps out, now dressed for in ring action, with the towel around his neck and his trunks on now.Of course the WWE Championship glistens around his waist as he strokes the bonnet of the car before gesturing out to the fans as he steps up onto the ramp for the shower of golden pyrotechnics to fall down in the background. Ricardo Rodriguez is in the ring, and having done his announcing shtick, waits on his employer to make his way into the ring.

Michael Cole: You see that entrance, King? That is the entrance worthy of a great WWE Champion like Alberto Del Rio! Everything he does is grand and a big deal.

Jerry Lawler: I still think he needs to focus on not only his Hell in a Cell Match this Sunday but his match tonight against one of the young, rising stars in the WWE.

Michael Cole: He’s going to be fine inside Hell in a Cell; you saw what he did earlier!

Jerry Lawler: That was nothing compared to what we have seen inside that Cell that is hanging right above the ring, Cole, and you know that!

We see replays of what Del Rio did to John Cena, his challenger for this Sunday, earlier on tonight; he rams Cena’s head into the Cell wall following the confrontation between the two men. The camera switches back to Del Rio beaming out amongst all of the boos. He looks up at the Cell and waves it off... taking this whole situation a little too lightly it seems. The lights return to normal, and the music fades away as the fans buzz in anticipation for who is coming next.

The WWE Universe ERUPTS with cheers as Zack Ryder walks out onto the stage, wearing as much of his merch as humanly possible. He looks like he is in a good mood despite recent circumstances, but he has a look of determination as he prepares for a match against the WWE Champion. Ryder slaps hands with fans in the front row as he is focused on this potentially career changing match.

Jerry Lawler: Did you hear the WWE Universe? They just LOVE Zack Ryder!

Michael Cole: Well, Zack Ryder gets a reward for all of his hard work on the internet... a main event match on Raw against the WWE Champion... what has the world come to? Everyone says that this guy is so popular... so how come all of his friends have sided with Jack Swagger?

Jerry Lawler: I think Primo and Curt Hawkins proved that they were never really Zack’s friends when they both stabbed him in the back-JACK SWAGGER?!!

Ryder had gotten up onto the apron before getting into the ring... but JACK SWAGGER COMES CHARGING DOWN THE RAMP!! Swagger grabs Ryder by the legs and pulls him off of the apron, and Ryder lands face first onto the ring apron that sends him stumbling away! There is a lot of heat in the arena for Swagger, as Del Rio just watches on from the ring. Del Rio now points for Swagger and tells him to punish Ryder even more! Swagger obliges as he lifts Zack back up... and sends him shoulder-first into the steel ring steps!! Zack cries out in pain as the referee now slides out of the ring to escort Swagger up the ramp. Ryder is left in a heap at ringside at the hands of his bitter rival, but Del Rio now chooses to leave the ring and approach Ryder... only to roll him into the ring! The champion then calls for the referee to come back. Swagger backs up the ramp and eventually backstage; his work done for now. The referee slides into the ring, and he crouches next to the downed Ryder, who holds his shoulder in pain following the assault from Swagger. We can’t hear the conversation between the two, but Ryder starts to nod... is this match still going to go ahead? The referee orders Ricardo out of the ring, and he has a quick word with Del Rio and a final check on Ryder... before calling for the bell!

Main Event:
Non-Title Match:

WWE Champion Alberto Del Rio w/ Ricardo Rodriguez vs Zack Ryder

Ryder is still too concerned about his shoulder to even notice that the match had started so Del Rio immediately charges in and starts to hammer away on Ryder with him trapped in the corner; targeting the majority of those shots to the shoulder area of Ryder. The commentators start to ponder if Del Rio and Swagger had a prior arrangement before this match for that shoulder of Zack Ryder to have been targeted to make this match a lot easier for Del Rio. Del Rio throws Ryder down into the centre of the ring and starts repeatedly stomping away on the shoulder again, causing Ryder to wince in agony. Del Rio shows some aggression as he tears Ryder’s t-shirt off of his back and delivers some more stomps to the now fully exposed shoulder. Del Rio paces the ring, which allows Ryder to get up a little and as soon as Ryder’s arm is off of the mat, Del Rio is right in there, trying to hook Ryder up for the Cross Armbreaker!! But Ryder resists the hold and pushes Del Rio away with his other arm! Ryder goes to follow up, the injured arm hanging limply as Ryder leads in for a strike with the good arm, but Del Rio easily dodges and delivers a solid kick to the shoulder that sends Ryder down to the mat in a heap of pain after another strike hits the mark on the shoulder.

Del Rio now comes in and stands over Ryder, before he lifts him back up to his feet, making sure to yank on the hurt shoulder. He brings Ryder up to his feet and he wrings his arm out, which causes Ryder to grimace again, and Del Rio now leaps into the air and drops Ryder’s arm right onto his knees!! The move hurt Zack’s arm as well as pulling on the shoulder joint that causes Zack to bounce around in the ring in pain. Rodriguez is liking what he sees and ADR now turns Zack over and goes for a cover after that move; putting all of his wait onto the good shoulder. One...Two...Thr-No! Zack is forced to use the bad shoulder for the kick out which Cole points out is smart strategy on the champion’s part. Del Rio now takes a few steps back... and he measures Ryder from a distance, before executing a well-placed boot to Ryder’s shoulder! Zack is scrambling around after taking another blow to the shoulder that Swagger injured. Zack scrambles right into the corner where he was before, and once again Del Rio charges in... but Ryder telegraphs it and uses the good shoulder to elevate Del Rio onto the apron!! Del Rio sticks the landing... but he grabs onto Ryder’s bad arm and jumps onto the floor... snapping Ryder’s arm off of the ring ropes!!

Ryder can’t get started in this match because of this shoulder and he stumbles into the centre of the ring and the champion now hops up onto the apron and waits for Ryder to turn around before springboarding off of the ropes and landing on Ryder with a Cross Body! Del Rio stays on top and he forces the shoulder down to the mat as the referee counts! One...Two...Thr-NO!! Ryder saves himself once again! Del Rio tries to being Ryder up once again... and he’s going for the Cross Armbreaker once again!! But Ryder is able to fight him off with a headbutt!! The move is desperation from Ryder as he knocks Del Rio back a few steps before rubbing his forehead. Ryder now charges at Del Rio, but the champion sees him coming... and he lifts Ryder up... TILT-A-WHIRL!! But Del Rio stops Ryder’s back from hitting his knee and he quickly transitions Ryder into a Powerslam position; and drops Ryder’s shoulder down onto his knee!! A great move from the champion and Ryder is once again writhing in pain, but Del Rio quickly goes in for another cover... One...Two...Three-NO!!! Ryder keeps himself alive to great physical cost as the kick out clearly hurt him.

Del Rio’s patience starts to wear thin as he now resorts to verbally berating at Ryder; “Ju are NOTHING compared to ME!” as Ryder makes his way back up to his feet using the turnbuckle. Del Rio charges in at Ryder... but runs right into Ryder’s boot!! The fans cheer but they don’t get ahead of themselves due to the previous events of the match. Del Rio stumbles backwards and Ryder is able to hop himself onto the middle turnbuckle... and he leaps off of the corner; connecting with a Missile Dropkick to the chest of the champion!! A loud pop from the fans as Ryder now goes into the cover!! One...Two..Del Rio kicks out!! Ryder has his head in his hands after coming so close against the WWE Champion. Ryder brings Del Rio back up to his feet and delivers a right hand (the good arm) right to Del Rio’s face that sends the champion reeling back against the ropes, and Ryder catches him with a Back Body Drop upon his return!! Del Rio holds his back in pain and he now scrambles into the corner and sits himself down against the bottom turnbuckle! The fans cheer and Ryder points down to ADR, before pumping his fist...”WOO WOO WOO!”... BROSKI BOOT TO THE CHAMPION!!! Ryder is properly pumped up now... and he waits in the centre of the ring for the champion to get back up to his feet! Del Rio starts to bring himself back up after being kicked in the face. The champion comes a couple of paces forwards and Ryder is advancing – ROUGH RYDER-NO!! Del Rio sidesteps Ryder and uses his momentum to send him SHOULDER FIRST INTO THE STEEL RING POST!!! Zack cries out in pain again, and the WWE Champion yanks his arm and pulls Ryder into the centre of the ring... and successfully applies the deadly Cross Armbreaker!! Zack is trapped in the centre of the ring so he has no choice but to TAP OUT!!

Winner: Alberto Del Rio (9:38)

There’s a lot of heat for the result, but the majority of fans applaud Ryder’s gutsy performance, but the result was inevitable. Rodriguez slides into the ring and delivers Del Rio the WWE Championship and the champion points up to the cell and then back to the title before raising it high up into the air. Ryder is being checked on by the referee as he is in some obvious discomfort now. Although the fans start to boo even louder because JACK SWAGGER is sauntering his way back down the ramp following the end of the match; he breaks into a run and slides into the ring... and starts pounding away on Zack Ryder! Del Rio leans back in the corner watching the fun as Swagger now brings Ryder back up to his feet and places his head between his legs.... but the fans start to cheer loudly because HERE COMES JOHN CENA!!! The ‘JAM CENA’ guy is visibly going crazy as the #1 Contender slides into the ring and rocks Swagger with a right hand, and then delivers one to Rodriguez that floors him! Cena goes right for Del Rio but the champion dives out of the ring!! Cena is visibly pissed off after what happened earlier and that Del Rio got away, so he turns back to Swagger... Swagger swings with a right; and Cena turns it into a BLUE THUNDER BOMB!! Swagger holds his back in pain and he rolls out of the ring and joins Del Rio at the bottom of the ramp... Cena though smiles as he realises that there is still one man left in the ring. Del Rio has seen this all before as his poor ring announcer gets back up to his feet in the ring... and Cena delivers AN ATTITUDE ADJUSTMENT TO RODRIGUEZ AGAIN!!

Del Rio is mortified that Cena got Ricardo again, but Cena seems focussed on helping Zack Ryder to his feet for now, that is until he sees that Zack is okay, before both men in the ring stare a hole right through their respective rivals. Swagger is smiling back at Ryder cockily as he backs up the ramp, but Del Rio is frozen at the base looking at Cena, and he looks at the Cell again... before holding tightly onto his title... I think he may have just realised something.

Michael Cole: The battle lines have been drawn before these two men step inside Hell in a Cell; and I think that John Cena has just eliminated one of Del Rio’s main ways of winning that match.

Jerry Lawler: Del Rio will be a lot easier to beat without Ricardo Rodriguez in the picture!

Raw ends with the camera zooming close in on a very, very determined looking John Cena.

Re: WWE 2011: Pushing the Boundaries

JAM's Review

What an opener that was! I think you've definitely improved on your promos but you can always improve on that. There was just one time or two times where I think Cena and Del Rio sounded a bit off but the rest were fine. This kind of felt like the ending of a RAW episode instead of the opening segment. If this is how your opening is like, then your ending has got to be strong as well. Del Rio looked very credible in this segment. So you seem to know how to build Del Rio well here, good job with that. Good job on the opening! JAAAAAAAAAAAM CENAAAAAAA! Cool kid.

Xavier Woods huh? Not sure what he'd do really. Help out the midcard? Help review the Crusierweight Division? I don't know but having new guys called up to the main roster is always exciting. Oh man, poor Evan Bourne here. Couldn't you pick someone else to job to Brodus? Haha. That's all I'll really say on that. Oh and that I like this Brodus Clay much better.

Really good interview here. I thought Punk would dominate this segment but Kofi dominated that segment for sure. Kofi is definitely someone who could elevate to main event status if you do it right so I'm glad you're trying to do that. That line about them being tag champions before was great, giving them more of an advantage. Snarky little comment from Punk to Striker afterwards, haha. Very interesting scenario you've drawn up with Drew and Dolph. I actually have a feeling that Drew will lay down for Dolph and they'll not let him into their business deal or whatever. A Drew/Dolph feud will be great to see and should make the US Title mean that much more.

Oh Big Johnny, what a heat magnet. I really don't like the guy but I guess that makes him the right fit for this new stable that is formed on RAW. I was kind of pulling for Awesome Truth to win the titles here since I'm not a big fan of Koztino. But they got a huge rub with that win, so hopefully they bring credibility to the tag titles. Everything put in motion here was brilliant! Faction war coming up, love it!

Storyline for the divas division is always good in my books. Maybe an Eve heel turn at the PPV? Who knows. Liked that we got some reaction from the Johnny L. Administration. One phone call huh, wonder who that may be. Kevin Nash? Hmm, interesting segment you've got here with Otungacutty. Hope you don't bring them back with a dancing gimmick or anything. They'd actually be a good addition to the tag team if Otunga learns how to wrestle and Mike learns to talk. I await their re-debut.

Main event was what it was, pretty standard. I did think you made Ryder look pretty good. He was attacked but still continued on the match with the WWE Champion and he got to be in the main event. Ryder could've really been something but they messed that up so I'm glad you recognize that. He'd be a good addition to the midcard and maybe go higher than that if you build him up really good.

Overall, it was a good episode. I like the back and forth with Del Rio and Cena. I really liked the opening, it was stronger than the ending. The matches were fun to read and I know that you've been having fun writing them. I'm always a fan of the rundown of the PPV card, so I read the commentary on that. No complaints from me man. Good job!
