Wow. You've been posting shows at a rather rapid pace, it's nice to see a new thread with so much activity. Sorry I never got a review up for your last PPV. Not had much time for Be The Booker recently. I've skimmed throughy our previous shows from Backlash onwards and everything seems to be going really well. Hopefully you can keep this up, it's one of the better new threads and you're obviously improving as you go along. I'll review this weeks Smackdown if I get the chance, if not, a review for Judgement Day will be given, guaranteed.

Keep up the good work.

Thanks guys. Sorry if the write up for matches isn't long, it's difficult for me to write up long matches. So this is the best i could do. Plus this show is more of a promo heavy show as the final build for Judgment Day. Also don't mind the red ropes in the pic, that's the best i could do. I had to write Christian off as he was injured in real life during that time period on that date. I wanted to see how i could do this by using the roster that was available for that time period. Well at least Christian headlined Raw for 3 weeks, made him into a main event guy. So when he returns he will be ready to main event.

WWE Smackdown
May 13, 2004

Last stop before Judgment Day

Tazz and Michael Cole welcome us to the show. Eric Bischoff’s music hits and he’s already in the ring with most of the Smackdown roster at ringside. He welcomes everyone to Eric Bischoff’s Smackdown. The fans are booing him heavily. He has some fond memories of Smackdown and his favourite Smackdown moment was when he kissed Stephanie McMahon. Tonight is Eric Bischoff’s Smackdown roulette. Tonight every match will be determined by the spin of the Smackdown roulette wheel. He runs through the matches that will take place tonight including the main event for tonight which is Eddie Guerrero vs Kane. It will be an unpredictable night as we could see many unique matches tonight. Whatever happened on Raw this week with Heyman, he’s going to address that on Raw when he’s back on the number 1 show next week. He wasn’t happy with what went down but he’s not going to let that ruin his mood tonight. He’s going to show the world how a show should be run. He’s back here on the minor leagues, the B show. When Eric Bischoff is here the ratings can only go up. Bischoff = Ratings. He is going to bring excitement to this 2nd rate show with Smackdown roulette. Eric states that on Raw, he gets respect. Now that he’s on Smackdown running things he won't let anyone and he means anyone bully him around or put their hands on him. If they do, there will be serious consequences. Eric has interaction with several stars at ringside including Booker T, RVD, Edge, Val Venis, Matt Hardy, John Cena and JBL. Eric said he was disappointed to lose a world class athlete like Booker to Smackdown. He was one of his top stars in WCW. He books Booker T in a match against Rey Mysterio tonight and if Rey doesn’t show up then he’s going to be fined. Eric doesn’t regret losing RVD to Smackdown because he was never a top star on Raw. He takes shots at RVD for coming from Paul Heyman’s Extremely Crappy Wrestling. In WCW, he never wanted to sign RVD from ECW. Booker and RVD take shots at each other. Booker T claims he’s the biggest thing to ever hit Smackdown and he’s going to kick RVD’s ass at Judgment Day suckaaa. RVD says after what Booker did to him last week, he’s going to give Booker a major beating at Judgment Day. He then mocks Bischoff and tells him he doesn’t respect him. He doesn’t like Paul Heyman but he respects him for what he’s done for this business. He’s glad to be off Raw because on Smackdown he’s going to become a huge star. Bischoff gets pissed and books RVD in a match against Edge.

Edge goes into his psychotic state and tells Bischoff he beat the hell out of Rey last week and he won’t have the guts to show up tonight. He doesn’t want RVD tonight, he wants Eddie Guerrero tonight. Edge demands Bischoff to change Eddie Guerrero’s match. He wants a title match against Eddie tonight. Eric lets Edge know that just like Paul Heyman told Raw’s #1 star HHH that he’s not going to get a title shot, he’s also not going to give Edge a title shot. He says Edge what have you done to deserve a title match. Eddie Guerrero vs Kane has been advertised for a week and he’s not going to change it. Edge is so crazy that he gets even more angrier. He gets in Bischoff’s face and told Eric, Kane is going to get his opportunity this Sunday. He beat Kane a few weeks ago on Smackdown. Edge demands a title shot. Eric Bischoff punishes Edge for talking in that sort of tone with him and almost put his hands on him. He doesn’t give Edge a title match but spins the wheel to determine which match he will compete in later on against RVD. It lands on a Tables match. Edge did not like this at all and storms out the ring and gets booed heavily. Eric tells Edge to go get ready and RVD taunts Edge. Bischoff then berates Val Venis and Matt Hardy and calls them two of his raw rejects. They complained about not getting opportunities on Raw and now on Smackdown they think they are huge stars? Well Raw is the number 1 show and if they couldn’t cut it on the number 1 show then what makes them think they will achieve success on a 2nd rate show. He rips into Matt Hardy because Hardy didn’t want to take Eugene under his wing. Eric hoped that someday Hardy meets Eugene in the ring and Eugene embarrasses him. Hardy, Val all fired back with comments and let Bischoff now that Smackdown is their new home, it is the land of opportunity. They have proved it by getting an opportunity on ppv at Judgment Day, something they didn’t get for a long time on Raw. Eric pulls the mic away from them and turns his attention to the US Champ John Cena.

This is the first time they’ve met so he goes over to shake Cena’s hand and pulls his hand back and laughs. Bischoff starts bashing Cena saying he just doesn’t understand what all this hype about Cena is all about. He doesn’t see any qualities in John Cena. He calls Cena a 2nd rate champion. He goes on about how RAW's Intercontinental Champion Randy Orton is better than Cena and that Orton could beat Cena any day of the week. Eric says next month is the King of the Ring Tournament. He is pretty confident that Raw will embarrass Smackdown at the King of the Ring and a Raw star will win. Cena wants to say something so Eric hands him another mic. Cena disses Bischoff in a rap and disses Orton too. He goes on by saying he could beat Randy Orton any day of the week. He respects what Orton has done so far in the business at a young age but at the same time he doesn’t like Randy Orton. He’s disrespected a lot of legends. Cena says if he was on Raw he could beat any one of their superstars including Orton. Cena said next week he is going to qualify for the tournament and he will go on to win the tournament. Eric will get embarrassed because a Raw star won't win it. 2004 is the year of John Cena and you're looking at the next King of the Ring. Cena says he will still be the US Champ after Judgment Day and that he will be a star here on Smackdown because Smackdown is his home. This is the big leagues. Cena then starts dissing WCW in his rap by taking shots at loads of WCW stars including Booker T. Cena goes on about how the ratings slumped. Eric tries not to be intimidated by Cena but he is.

JBL cuts Cena off and tells Cena to keep dreaming because 2004 is the year of John Bradshaw Layfield. It won't be John Cena or Randy Orton who will win or any other guy, it will be JBL who will win. After he's done defeating the international cruiserweights, he will go on to qualify for the King of the Ring. Then he will go on to win the King of the Ring. Who better to win the KOTR than JBL. He's rich, he's got everything except that he has never been King and has never won the WWE or US title. JBL vowed to win the tournament. Bischoff cuts JBL off and he's heard enough. He's so offended by Cena's comments that he books Cena in a match. That match will take place right now. He spins the wheel and it lands on Bischoff’s choice. Bischoff starts laughing and says that’s perfect. He books a 10 man tag between Cena, Rhyno, Tajiri, The Hurricane and Shannon Moore vs Val Venis, Matt Hardy, Johnny Nitro, Paul London and Kidman. Cena isn’t done yet and then bashes Val and Dawn Marie and told Dawn you want some, come get some. Eric now wants the show to get underway and wants everyone to clear the ring except the guys that are involved in the first match and Dawn Marie who is managing the heels.

Match 1
10 Man Tag Team Match
John Cena, Rhyno, Tajiri, The Hurricane and Shannon Moore vs Val Venis, Matt Hardy, Johnny Nitro, Kidman and London

This match was fast paced, back and forth action with many near falls. The heel team were in control for most of the match making quick tags. Hurricane is in the ring with Hardy. Hardy gets a side effect on Helms and gets a near fall. He put Helms up on the top rope and looks for a twist of fate but Helms knocks Hardy down. Helms gets a crossbody and Hardy kicks out at 2. Helms tags Cena and Cena and Hardy go at it. Cena gets a shoulder block on Hardy and then hits a clothesline. Hardy tags Nitro and Nitro gets a back body drop from Cena. Cena hits the five knuckle shuffle for a two. Mid-way into the match Val Venis and Tajiri are in the ring. Tajiri goes for a handspring elbow and Val moves out the way. He takes Tajiri down with a bulldog. Then delivers a suplex. Val sends Tajiri to the ropes who comes back with a spinning heel kick. Val tagged London. Tajiri gets the tarantula on London. Tajiri tagged Rhyno and London tagged in Kidman. Rhyno gets a powerslam on Kidman. He sets up for the gore and he hits it. He goes for a cover and Hardy breaks it up. Hardy and Rhyno now go at it and Rhyno clotheslines Hardy to the floor. Back in, Rhyno tags in Shannon Moore. Hardy is in the ring with his former Mattitude follower. Shannon Moore takes Hardy down with a headscissors. He misses a moonsault from the top rope and Hardy hits the twist of fate. He goes for a cover and Rhyno breaks up the count. Now Hurricane is in the ring with Kidman, they trade blows and Hurricane delivers the eye of The Hurricane on London. Kidman breaks it up. Now Hurricane is in trouble as the heels isolate him in the corner. Val Venis is now in the ring and hits the Russian leg sweep for a 2. Val goes to the top for the money shot and Helms moves out the way. He makes the hot tag to Cena. Cena and Val exchange rights and Cena ends up hitting the FU on Val. He goes for a cover and Matt Hardy steps in to save Val. We get a big brawl which spills to the floor. Dawn and Torrie have a catfight of their own outside and Dawn knocks Torrie down. The ref tries to control everyone outside the ring, Cena and Val are in the ring. Dawn Marie slips in the US Title belt and Val nails Cena with the belt. He pinned Cena for the 3 count to win the match for his team. The heels celebrate outside the ring and Val looks at Cena and says this Sunday he’s going to beat him for the US Title.
Winners: Val Venis, Matt Hardy, Johnny Nitro, Kidman and London

Dawn Marie is in the back with Eric Bischoff. She tries to seduce Eric and wants to assist him in spinning the wheel tonight. Eric gives in and agrees. He’s not like Paul Heyman who disrespected his assistant The Coach on Raw. He has class and appreciates good service. Infact he could do with Dawn’s services if she was on Raw. He takes shots at Paul Heyman. He didn’t like what Heyman did this week by throwing his picture in a trash can but he’s not going to stoop to Paul Heyman’s level. Dawn asks Eric, Val and Hardy just won their match so what does he think, Eric said it’s a good start but not good enough. Eddie Guerrero shows up and he starts flirting with Dawn. Eric tries to get his attention because he wanted to meet Eddie. Eddie’s having his fun and Eric gets angry. He scolds Eddie for not being out there in the ring earlier. Does Eddie think he's bigger than the entire roster just because he's WWE Champion. Eric continues to take shots at Eddie and if Eddie was on Raw he would not be fit to represent the Raw brand as their world champion. He made the right decision by not making Eddie into a top star in WCW. Eddie makes fun of Eric, Eric did not treat him right in WCW, he didn’t think he would become a top star. Look at him now he’s the WWE Champion. He got out of WCW at the right time when WCW was a sinking ship. Eric told Eddie that’s enough. He’s not out here to be insulted. Eric spins the wheel to decide which match Eddie and Kane will compete in. It lands on a cage match and Eric starts laughing and says too bad Eddie. You’re trapped in there like a rat against the monster Kane and he’s going to tear you apart. Now no one will be there to save Latino Heat. He forgot to mention that this will now be for the WWE Title. So Eric has now changed it to a title match to punish Eddie. Eddie’s title is in major jeapordy tonight. Kane has Paul Bearer and that monster by his side. Eddie pretends to apologise to Eric so that Eric changes his mind, he hugs Eric and says you’re doing a great job tonight. Eric told Eddie he is not changing his mind. It’s a trick because
Eddie ends up stealing Eric’s wallet. As Eddie walks off. Eric has a big smirk on his face and tells Dawn that he’s a genius. Dawn informs Eric that Eddie Guerrero just stole his wallet. Eric was furious. He just got robbed on Smackdown.

Match 2
Tables Match
Edge vs Rob Van Dam

RVD’s music hits as he makes his way down to the ring. Edge comes out next. Edge taunts a couple of Mysterio fans in the front row. The bell rings. Edge immediately kicks RVD to the gut. He nails RVD with a few right hands. RVD reverses a whip and hits a spinning heel kick to knock Edge down. He sends Edge to the ropes but Edge catches him with a knee lift. Edge pummels RVD in the corner and then puts him on the top rope. RVD shoves Edge down and goes for a frog splash but Edge moves out the way. Edge whips RVD to the ropes and gets a diving crossbody. He goes to the top and delivers a missile dropkick. RVD comes back and nails Edge with a roundhouse kick and Edge rolls out the ring and starts yelling at the Mysterio fans in the front row. Edge doesn’t end up getting a table just yet, his strategy is to first weaken RVD but at the moment RVD is taking it to Edge. Edge and RVD go back and forth in the ring. RVD goes for a charge and Edge moves out the way as RVD goes shoulder first into the post. Edge takes RVD up to the top rope and delivers a suplex. He then goes for a chinlock and RVD manages to fight out of it. He ends up hitting a clothesline to Edge to the floor. RVD is about to get a table from under the ring but Edge stops him and sends him into the post. Edge stomps away at RVD and rolls him back in. Edge pulls out a table and one of the Mysterio fans delivers a dropkick and sends Edge into the post. He gets back in his seat. RVD is back up, Edge staggers back up and RVD hits the ropes and gets a somersault dive on Edge to knock him down again. Back in, RVD is in control and nails Edge with an insiguri. He follows up with the rolling thunder.

RVD goes outside to get the table but Edge baseball slides into RVD to knock RVD down. Edge now gets the table and leaves the table in the ring. He decides to go back out to find out which Mysterio fan attacked him. RVD rolls back in and attempts another dive but Edge moves out the way and RVD hits the barricade. Edge gets another table and puts it outside the ring. He tries a suplex on RVD through the table, RVD blocks and rams Edge’s head on the apron. He rolls Edge back in. He goes for a spinning heel kick but Edge moves back and holds on to the ropes. Edge hits Edge o Matic on RVD. Edge starts stomping away at RVD in the corner and delivers the edge-ecution in the middle of the ring. Edge sets up for the spear and delivers a spear on RVD. Edge places RVD on the table and goes to the top rope. RVD gets off the table so Edge gets down and is met with a roundhouse kick. RVD gets a few stiff kicks on Edge. He delivers a backdrop followed by a clothesline. He whips Edge into the corner and charges at him with a roundhouse kick. RVD gets a rolling monkey flip on Edge. He then hits the split- legged moonsault on Edge. RVD does his taunt. He places Edge on the table and he is about to go up for the 5 star frog splash but Booker T runs down and pushes RVD off. Edge moves and RVD goes crashing through the table. Edge has won and celebrates. Booker T starts laughing up the ramp. RVD is back on his feet and chases after Booker but Booker gets away.
Winner: Edge

Now Edge goes outside the ring and wants his music to be cut and gets a mic. He demands to know which Mysterio fan attacked him. He starts talking trash about Mysterio and his fans. What he doesn’t know that one of the actual fans in the audience is the real Rey. He is looking around to find Rey Mysterio as he believes that Rey is here. He is one of these fans. He goes in the crowd asking a lot of Mysterio fans in masks, if that’s the real Rey. He is beginning to lose the plot here becoming psycotic. He demands to know where Rey Mysterio is. Edge says come on you son of a bitch, show your face, prove that you’re not a coward and stop hiding behind that mask. Edge is seeing masks everywhere. He starts removing all the masks of the kids making a lot of them cry. When he goes to ask the latest fan are you Rey? The fan doesn't move or even speak. The fan tries to act scared of Edge so Edge doesn’t remove his mask and laughs. What Edge doesn’t know is that it’s really Rey Mysterio. Mysterio ends up beating the hell out of Edge. Edge tries to get out of dodge and he is running away from Mysterio and escapes.

In the back
STACEY KEIBLER shows up on Smackdown. Eric is shocked to see her here. Eric demands an explanation from Stacey as to why she is out here on Smackdown when she’s Raw property. Stacey explained that she hasn’t been on Raw for the past couple of weeks. Her contract on Raw ran out and Eric started to worry more about divas like Trish Stratus. Stacey contacted Paul Heyman last week, and she signed a contract on Smackdown. Paul promised her that she would be a big part of Smackdown, he advised her to show up tonight on Bischoff’s Smackdown. With Stacey Keibler on Smackdown, Raw just lost their top diva and now Smackdown has a new #1 diva. Dawn doesn’t seem to agree on that and gets in Stacey’s face. Dawn says she’s the #1 diva on Smackdown. Eric says he has class and respects women but not those who go behind his back and sign a deal on Smackdown. She may be a part of Smackdown now but with him in charge tonight she’s not going to be a part of this show tonight. He tells her to leave and Dawn sucks up to Eric and taunts Stacey. Stacey slaps Dawn and storms out the office. Eric checks on Dawn to see if she’s alright. Dawn holds on to her face and says BITCH.

Paul Bearer explains his actions

Paul Bearer comes down to the ring with Kane and that mysterious man who helped Kane win the casket match last week. Paul Bearer has a mic handed to him and the first thing he says is You’re not the phenom anymore Undertaker, i’m standing next to the real phenom. Paul Bearer explains the reason why he went back to The Undertaker. He wanted to see if he was really dead. It was The Undertaker that needed him the most so he restored his powers. He wanted to see if The Undertaker was still the phenom he once was. At WrestleMania, he may have defeated Kane but the fact is that The Undertaker is a shell of his former self, because he made Taker that way. He explains why he turned on The Undertaker. At the end of the day blood is thicker than water, and Taker is no son of his, and Kane is. Paul believes that The Undertaker is starting to grow weak already. Kane always had to live in Taker's shadow when Bearer always knew that Kane is better than his older brother The Undertaker. Kane is the more dominant brother. Paul Bearer states that he never liked The Undertaker, infact many years ago The Undertaker burned his face. That fire opened up some old wounds, Taker burned him and now it is his turn to hurt him. Paul thinks since rising back from the dead, The Undertaker is not evil enough to be aligned with Paul Bearer. This is the reason why he has aligned himself with his son Kane and this man. He points to the mysterious guy. Paul Bearer tells everyone that his name is MORDECAI and he is his nephew. This is his family, they are his blood and Taker is not. Mordecai’s father is Paul Bearer’s brother. Mordecai also shares a past with both The Undertaker and Kane because he is also a part of the darkness. In the past he was also tortured by The Undertaker and now he has come back for vengeance. He is just as evil and almost as powerful as his cousin Kane. He has given Mordecai the power of the urn. Mordecai is more powerful than The Undertaker.

Mordecai explains why he is here. He is in the WWE to punish the souls of the wicked. He is going to strike fear into the hearts of the superstars of the WWE. Now that he is at his uncle and his cousin's sides, they are now the most powerful entity in the WWE. He promises to punish all the sinners on Smackdown. The biggest sinners on Smackdown are The Undertaker and Eddie Guerrero. Kane told everyone that he will destroy the Undertaker and he did. He now has possession of the urn, he now has the power of the urn. He told everyone that he will have a family soon and now he does. Now all that’s left is the WWE Title. He vows to win the WWE Title tonight in a steel cage match. At Judgment Day he’s going to walk in as champion and walk out as champion. Whatever is left of Eddie tonight, he will capitalize on and will hurt Eddie this Sunday. The fans have been laughing at him because they felt he’s no longer the monster that he once was. Now they will fear him. The Undertaker and the creatures of the night may have sent Paul Bearer to the darkside but it was him that brought him back. Kane laughs.

Suddenly Lightning struck the ring. The Undertaker’s voice is heard and he has a message for Paul Bearer, Kane and Mordecai. Undertaker says "If you think Paul Bearer’s deception will weaken me, well understand this Kane when i look at you, i see Mordecai and when i see Mordecai i see Paul Bearer. So you must take the brunt of my aggression that i hold for not only you, but two of the most evil souls that walk the face of the earth. You will pay the price. Kane, did you honestly think you were capable of destroying the most powerful entity in the WWE today. Did you honestly think that you put an end to the Undertaker. The time has come for you to pay for your crimes. It’s time Kane for you to face the phenom once more. You will pay for the violation of my sacred urn and you will pay dearly. From now on you will see a side of The Undertaker that you have never seen before. Without the power of the urn i will still prove that i am the lord of the darkness. By seeking Vengeance and taking your souls, i will prove why i am the most feared entity today. At Judgment Day, Kane you will REST IN PEACE." Taker laughs, and then his music starts playing and the lights go out. Then the lights are back on, lightning bolts strike the ringposts and the ringposts go on fire and they start burning. Taker's symbol then burns on the screen. Paul Bearer Kane, and Mordecai are worried but they are trying not to show it but you can tell that they are afraid. Paul Bearer thinks this is all Eddie Guerrero’s doing, and screams on the mic that The Undertaker has gone. The lights go out again and more mindgames are being played. This time Eddie Guerrero’s music hits and the lights are back on. The cage has somehow been lowered with Kane and Mordecai inside the ring.

Paul Bearer has vanished. Eddie Guerrero is in his lowrider and has Paul Bearer in the passenger seat. Eddie has a mic and says Kane messed with his family and now he’s going to mess with his family. Eddie gets inside Kane’s head by mocking him and tells him that he needs to put his mask back on because his face is hideous. That really outrages Kane. Now he’s going to take Kane’s fat father Paul Bearer for a ride holmes. He’s taking Paul Bearer hostage. Kane warns Eddie not to do any physical harm on his father. He will pay for this. Eddie even mocks Mordecai and tells him that the only person that will be punished is Mordecai's uncle Paul Bearer. Eddie calls Kane the most dumbest person he’s ever known. All that time he was talking he could have come after Eddie but he was stupid to hear him embarrass Kane. He's going to kick Kane and The Undertaker's ass at Judgment Day. Now he's taking Kane's Papi for a ride holmes. Orrale Vato, VIVA LA RAZA!!!! Mordecai and Kane start climbing the cage but it’s too late. Eddie gets away. Kane and Mordecai are furious and run to the back and the chase is on.

Kane and Mordecai try to track Eddie down but they can’t find him. Kane is screaming. Kane sees Spike Dudley and Scotty 2 Hotty. They grab them by the throat. Kane asks Spike if he’s seen Eddie and his father. Spike has no idea where he is. Mordecai and Kane destroy Spike and Scotty.

Eric and Dawn just watched what went down on the monitor and hoped that Kane and Mordecai don’t come after him to find out where Eddie is. He hoped that they find Eddie and teach him a lesson not only for taking Paul Bearer hostage but for stealing his wallet. He’s going to get his wallet back tonight. Dawn thinks Eddie won’t show up for his match. Now that he has Paul Bearer, we may not have a match now because Kane will be looking for his father. Eric said oh there will definitely be a cage match tonight. If Eddie doesn’t show up, he will be stripped of the title and he will declare Kane as the new WWE Champion.

Match 3
You’re Fired Match
JBL vs Chavo Classic

Chavo Classic comes down with his son Chavo Jr. JBL then comes down to the ring. Eric Bischoff appears on the screen and talks about how he made the cruiserweight division in WCW. If there is one thing he wanted on Raw was the cruiserweight division. He believes he would utilise the cruiserweights better if they were on Raw. Well right now he’s going to let Dawn Marie decide which match Chavo Classic will be competing in against JBL. It lands on a You’re Fired Match. If Chavo Classic beats JBL tonight then JBL is fired and there will be no JBL vs The World match this Sunday at Judgment Day. If JBL wins then Chavo Classic is fired. Since he doesn’t want someones job to end in outside interference, he tells Chavo Jr to make his way to the back otherwise he will be fired. Chavo Jr has to go. The bell rings. This is a quick squash. JBL pounds the hell out of Chavo Classic at the start. Chavo Classic comes back with a few rights, he even gets a swinging neckbreaker on JBL. He goes for a clothesline but is met with a big boot by JBL. JBL hits a devastating clothesline from hell and pins Chavo Sr for the 3 count. JBL wins and celebrates and leaves. Chavo Classic is in the ring and he’s upset. His son comes down and consoles him and Chavo Classic has been fired.

Winner: JBL

Now Eddie is driving Paul Bearer down the street. He is outside the arena and Paul begs Eddie to let him go. Eddie is like what do you mean let you go esse, were having fun esse. He decides to stop and he’s going to dump Paul in a sewer. Paul pleads with Eddie to let him go. Eddie says this isn’t the first time he’s been dumped in a sewer before so he will let him go. He dumps Paul head first into a sewer but doesn’t seal it. Eddie drives off. Paul screams for help. Kane and Mordecai arrive and get Paul out. Kane starts screaming. He promises to get revenge on Eddie tonight.

Match 4
No DQ Match
Booker T vs Rey Mysterio

Booker T makes his way down. Rey Mysterio is out next. Eric Bischoff appears on the screen and lets them know what match they are competing in. Dawn spins the wheel and it lands on a No DQ match. Booker jumps Rey from behind and the bell rings. Booker gets a few right hands on Rey, Rey uses his quickness to come back and take Booker down. He delivers a hurracanrana and delivers a dropkick to Booker to the floor. Rey frustrates Booker in the early going by doing high flying moves. Booker comes back and nails Rey with a sidekick. Booker looks for the scissors kick but Rey moves out the way and kicks away at Booker’s leg. He takes Booker down with a bulldog and dropkicks Booker to the floor. Rey launches himself at Booker but Booker steps out the way. Booker stomps away at Rey and whips Rey in the ringpost. They trade holds and go back and forth with Booker dominating the match. Rey fights back and delivers a 619 to Booker which knocks Booker to the floor. They fight outside the ring and Booker delivers an axe kick on Rey. Booker T assaults Mysterio and rolls him back in. Booker delivers a suplex and then gets a sidewalk slam for a near fall. Booker then hammers away at Rey in the corner and taunts him. He delivers repeated backhand chops to Rey, Rey counters and gets a few chops of his own. Rey delivers a bronco buster to Booker in the corner. He gets a springboard crossbody and clotheslines Booker to the floor. They fight outside again and Booker reverses a whip and sends Rey into the ringside guard rail. Booker lifts Rey up and drops him on the guard rail. Booker places Rey on the announce table and goes for a Book-end, Rey elbows out and delivers a ddt on the table but the table doesn’t break. Both men fall down are down.

They get back in and Rey dropkicks Booker in the corner and delivers a 10 punch in the corner. Edge comes down and spears Rey. He gets a chair. RVD runs down. Edge is about to nail the conchairto on Rey but RVD gets the chair of Edge and throws it down. He starts punching away at Edge. Booker jumps RVD from behind and they start brawling. Edge and Rey end up brawling in the ring. Mysterio hits the 619 on Edge. Rey goes after Edge on the ramp and Edge manages to escape. Meanwhile Booker gets that chair and swings at RVD. RVD kicks the chair in Booker’s face. Rey is now back in the ring. RVD drags Booker in the corner. RVD goes to the other corner with a chair in his hand and goes right to the top rope. This is coast to coast. RVD DELIVERS A VAN TERMINATOR TO BOOKER T. Unbelievable. From one corner to the next, right in the face of Booker T. Fans chant Holy Shit. RVD does his signature taunt and tells Booker this is just a start. Mysterio pins Booker T for the 3 count. Big upset win here. RVD and Rey celebrate in the ring. Edge is back on the ramp. Mysterio taunts Edge to get back in the ring and fight and Edge yells just wait until Sunday and he points to his skull saying he is smart.
Winner: Rey Mysterio

Rey Mysterio bumps into JBL in the back. JBL sarcastically congratulates Rey on his victory. JBL called Rey's win a fluke and wanted Rey to watch how he destroys the international cruiserweights at Judgment Day. JBL thinks it's going to be the most easiest challenge of his life, despite having to take on 4 men he seems very confident. JBL thinks Rey has no chance against Edge. JBL gives Rey some advice and that's to back out of his match against Edge before it's too late. JBL advises Rey to go back to the cruiserweight division so he can fight with guys his own size. If Edge doesn't send him back to Mexico then JBL claims that he will personally deport Mysterio back because he's not wanted here. Mysterio fires back and he tells JBL that he's seen JBL running his mouth making fun of the international stars on Smackdown. If there is anyone that's a disgrace to America then that's JBL. If JBL continues to run his mouth then Rey will personally make sure that JBL doesn't make it to Judgment Day. Rey walks off as JBL has a big smirk on his face and doesn't take Rey's threat too seriously.

Eric finally finds Eddie who is walking down for his match and demands his wallet back or he will strip Eddie of the title now. Eddie gives Eric his wallet back and Eric told Eddie, he hoped Kane destroys Eddie. Eddie walks down for his match. Bischoff is heading back to his office and bumps into Rey Mysterio. Eric starts berating Rey for his actions tonight. Rey said he gave Edge a taste of his own medicine and now that Edge has made it personal he will make him pay at Judgment Day. Rey then mocks Bischoff for holding him down in WCW. This is one of many reasons why WCW failed. Eric believed cruiserweights couldn’t be huge stars but look at Eddie now. Look at Rey now, someday he will become champion. Eric laughs and says that’s a good one but that simply won’t be happening. Rey said he may be small but size does not matter. He’s going to show that a guy like him can take the fight to guys like Edge. Edge likes to hurt people and he’s going to get him back for what he’s done to others. Rey walks off. Up next is the steel cage match.

Main Event
WWE Title Steel Cage Match
Eddie Guerrero (c) vs Kane

The cage comes down as Eddie Guerrero comes out first, followed by Kane who comes out by himself. Looks like Kane wants his father to be out of harms way after what just happened to him earlier. The bell rings and Eddie takes it to Kane by delivering a few right hands. Kane gets one of his own to knock Eddie down. Eddie comes back and outsmarts Kane with a few moves and really gets inside the head of Kane. Eddie taunts Kane as the crowd start an Eddie chant. Kane uses his power to get the advantage and really gives Eddie a beating inside the cage. Kane misses a charge in the corner and Eddie hammers away at Kane. He does the top rope 9 count punch and on 10, Kane delivers an atomic drop and follows with a big ddt. Kane goes for a cover but only gets a 2. Kane misses a top rope clothesline and Eddie dropkicks Kane into the corner. Eddie hits a top rope suplex. Kane sits up and Eddie is stunned. Eddie goes for a clothesline but is met with a big boot by Kane. Kane tried to put Eddie away with the sleeper but the fans get behind Eddie as he was able to get up and fight out of it. Eddie started working on Kane’s leg and locks in his submission hold, The Lasso from El Paso. This is a very painful submission hold as Eddie has it locked on. Kane uses his power to escape. Kane holds on to the ropes to pull himself up. Eddie dropkicks Kane into the knee. Chop block by Eddie. Eddie has the big man down. Eddie goes to the top rope and goes for a frog splash and Kane moves out the way. Kane is in control again and hammers away at Eddie in the corner. He sends Eddie face-first into the cage and Eddie is now bleeding. Kane goes for a chokehold in the corner and then delivers a big sidewalk slam for a near fall. Mid-way during the match Eddie was back on the offense and tried climbing the cage but Kane stopped him. Kane hit a chokeslam and Eddie just kicked out at 2. Kane signalled for the tombstone and Eddie slips out and hit a ddt. Great counter but Eddie is too hurt to go for a cover. He manages to crawl over and only gets a 2. Eddie delivers the 3 amigos suplex to Kane. Eddie starts climbing the the cage and goes to the top. All he has to do is climb down but it doesn’t seem like he wants too. Eddie HITS A FROG SPLASH FROM THE TOP OF THE CAGE ON KANE and both men are out. Eddie crawls over for the cover and Kane just kicks out at 2.

Mordecai and Paul Bearer come down and watch from outside the ring. Paul Bearer is livid. Eddie tried climbing the cage again but Mordecai was standing outside the ring so Eddie decides climb down in the ring. Paul Bearer starts screaming and yelling son, teach him a lesson, tear him apart. Both men are exchanging blows, Kane knocks Eddie down with a right hand. Kane exposed the turnbuckle pad and Eddie reverses a whip and sends Kane into the exposed turnbuckle pad. Kane is out cold. Eddie decides to get out the door but Mordecai slams the door in Eddie’s face. Paul Bearer is laughing. Eddie and Kane are both down. Kane is slowly back up to his feet. He delivers a chokeslam. He then picks Eddie up and plants him with the tombstone. It’s over. It looks like Kane’s going to win the match but suddenly the lights go out for 10 seconds as the gong strikes. Wait a minute, The Undertaker is back. The Undertaker rises up from underneath the ring and pulls Kane with him under the ring and takes him to hell. It’s like he’s risen from the dead. Paul Bearer can’t believe it. Eddie starts climbing the cage and Mordecai rips the cage door open. By the time he gets in the cage it’s too late. Kane is gone and now Eddie climbs over the cage and retains the title. Viva La Raza hits as Eddie manages to escape and celebrates near the ramp. Paul Bearer is screaming and wondering where his son has gone. Mordecai and Bearer get out the cage and Paul is freaking out. He’s had a terrible night.
Winner: Eddie Guerrero

Once Mordecai and Paul Bearer are gone Eric Bischoff comes back into the ring to close the show. He wants to let everyone know that it’s been one hell of a show tonight and all these fans should be thanking him for making Smackdown’s ratings go up for one night only. He wants to thank Vince McMahon for coming up with one hell of an idea because this wasn’t so bad afterall. Next week, Paul Heyman will return and Smackdown will just be the same old boring show, just like Paul Heyman’s other promotion Extremely Crappy Wrestling. Bischoff laughs and said well Paul Heyman you couldn’t control your roster but he could certainly control Paul’s Smackdown stars. Paul was threatened and assaulted here but with Eric Bischoff, it’s totally different. Why because the Smackdown superstars are afraid of him because he has a black belt in karate and you just don’t wanna mess with Eric Bischoff. He’s proved that he did a much better job running Smackdown than Paul Heyman. He deserves GM award of the year for going to another show and putting on a better show than the actual GM. So Paul Heyman take my advice, this is how you run a show. It’s been a wild night despite a few problems he’s enjoyed it. It’s been fun being here on Smackdown but now that he has to go back to his show RAW the A-show, he just hopes Kane beats both The Undertaker and Eddie Guerrero. So fans if you want to see the number 1 show tune in to Raw this coming Monday. The lights go out and the dong hits. The lights come back on, and The Undertaker is in the ring with Bischoff. Bischoff is shitting his pants scared out of his mind and says Nooooooooo Undertaker please i beg you. He is pleading with Taker to spare him. The Undertaker did his cut throat taunt and ends up tombstoning Bischoff. The Undertaker is back and Judgment Day is this Sunday. Taker rolled his eyes and motions for the WWE Title as Smackdown comes to a close.

Smackdown Review

Smackdown was an awesome show from start to finish especially with Eric Bischoff running things if you ask me, and especially having the Smackdown Roulette wheel here to determine the type of matches that they were going to have, and especially the build-up heading into Judgment Day, perfect

Eric also interacting with Edge, RVD, Val Venis, Matt Hardy, Booker T, Cena, and JBL, I loved it especially the interaction with Bischoff and Cena

The 10 man Tag Team Match with the heels winning, it gives them advantages and momentum going into Judgment Day, so again right call

The Dawn Marie, Eddie Guerrero, Eric Bischoff segment with Eddie stealing his wallet, loved it, classic Eddie in my opinion always the practical joker

Edge winning the Tables Match gives him so much more momentum heading into Judgment Day against Mysterio, especially loved it when Booker T got involved to cost RVD the Tables Match by helping Edge, and then Rey attacking Edge disguising himself as one of the fans and then going to sit back down, and Edge all psychotic demanding to know who attacked him and then tearing the masks off little kids wanting to know where Rey is, and he is about to tear the mask off of a certain fan, only for Rey to beat the hell out of Edge, and Edge trying to get away out of dodge, awesome moment

Stacy Keibler on Smackdown, I really love it, she can shine here on Thursday nights and especially when she slapped Dawn Marie, loved it

Paul Bearer, Kane, Mordecai segment I also loved it as well. Especially the part with Paul Bearer explaining why he turned on Taker, and how Mordecai is related to him and Kane and also Mordecai having a past with Undertaker as well, now this situation is really getting interesting

The lights going out and then Eddie's music plays, and then the cage lowers with Kane and Mordecai inside it, and Paul Bearer somehow in Eddie's low rider with Eddie taking Paul hostage, awesome, and then the chase being on, great scene

JBL dominating Chavo Classic with Chavo Sr. getting fired, awesome, I love it, one less face we have to see around here, and it can only mean one thing, the rise of JBL

Rey Mysterio beating Booker T in a NO DQ match, I love it, as it gives Rey that much needed momentum heading into Judgment Day for when he faces Edge and it looks like Rey has the upper hand as he is in Edge's head, and RVD coming down to cost Booker the match, loved it

Eddie dumping Paul in the sewer, loved it, ROFLMAO moment

Eddie retaining his WWE Title inside the Steel Cage, again hard fought victory, and Undertaker rising out from under the cage like Freddy Kreuger from Nightmare On Elm Street, that was awesome, him dragging Kane underneath to hell, and Mordecai and Paul Bearer getting all worried and scared about Kane

Undertaker Tombstoning Bischoff to end the show, really great way to end Smackdown

Overall good Smackdown, and now Judgment Day is on the horizon!!!!!!!!!!!!

Judgment Day Analysis

As for the ppv itself, the only matches that stick out to me, the only ones that I will talk about here are the main event being for the WWE Title, Edge vs Rey Mysterio Falls Count Anywhere, Booker T vs RVD, and John Cena defending his United States Championship against Val Venis because these are are the matches that I am looking forward to.

John Cena vs. Val Venis, if I had to be honest, I would say Cena would win, but Val Venis has surprised me as of late especially aligning himself with Dawn Marie, and also because he took out The Big Show and how many people can honestly say that, and Val Venis has bashed Cena week after week, and Cena has fired right back, so it will be interesting to see who wins this

Edge vs Rey Mysterio Falls Count Anywhere, another prime example of best friends turning on each other, well Edge turning on Rey because of his obsession of being WWE Champion and the fact that he thinks Rey betrayed him when he chose Eddie over him, and also Edge in his psychotic state as of late, can only mean bad things for Rey but also Rey is in Edge's head also by attacking Edge, so again another interesting match to call

Booker T vs RVD, the match that I am looking most forward to because Booker T I feel he deserves a push, and after what he has done as of late to RVD, and wanting to go out on his own, he is right, all RVD has done is hold Booker T back

And as for the WWE Title Triple-Threat Match with Eddie Guerrero vs. Kane vs. Taker, this I think will be match of the night if you ask me

WWE Judgment Day 2004 Preview

WWE Championship Title Triple Threat Match
Eddie Guerrero (c) vs Kane vs The Undertaker

Eddie Guerrero has been WWE Champion ever since No Way Out 2004 when he defeated Brock Lesnar and he went on to retain at WrestleMania defeating Kurt Angle. Now at Judgment Day it is a classic story of Eddie Guerrero trying to overcome the odds yet again but by overcoming not just one monster but overcoming two monsters in Kane and The Undertaker. Eddie has shown both Undertaker and Kane that he will do whatever it takes to still remain the WWE Champion and also Eddie has shown that he won't be intimidated by either Kane or The Undertaker. While Kane has proven to be even more sadistic than ever before tormenting not just his brother The Undertaker but also tormenting Eddie Guerrero's family. Kane now has Paul Bearer back at his side with Paul Bearer turning his back on The Undertaker and aligning himself with his son Kane once again. Tis twisted family saga has turned another corner with the debut of Kane's cousin and Paul Bearer's nephew Mordecai. The Undertaker still proves that he is the master of the mind games by pulling Kane down into the depths of Hell and also Eddie pulling that kidnapping stunt by taking Paul Bearer hostage. At Judgment Day it will all come to a head. Will The Big Red Machine win the gold and become the most powerful entity in the WWE? Or will The Undertaker take the gold back with him over to the dark side? Or will Eddie Guerrero overcome the odds once again and still remain the WWE Champion?

Falls Count Anywhere
Edge vs Rey Mysterio

A friendship now turned into a bitter rivalry as these two former partners, these two former friends Edge and Rey Mysterio will do battle in a Falls Count Anywhere Match at Judgment Day. Their feud will finally be coming on to a collision course. A feud born out of betrayal and Edge's obsession with being WWE Champion but with Rey trying to stop Edge from being something that he has always wanted to be. After it is said and done, which man will walk out of Judgment Day in one piece and which man will walk out of Judgment Day broken?

Booker T vs RVD

Once good friends, once former tag-team partners now bitter enemies as this rivalry has now been born out of greed, born out of betrayal. Now at Judgment Day it will all come to a bitter end. Booker T has proven that he has RVD's number. Recently RVD has pinned Booker T twice in tag team competition but now in singles competition they go finally one on one. Will RVD beat his now bitter rival also proving that he should be in line for a future WWE Championship match? Or will Booker T prove that he is once and for all better than his ex-partner. Will he also prove that he is in line for a future WWE Championship match. We will find out when they clash at Judgment Day.

WWE United States Championship Match
John Cena (c) vs Val Venis

A rivalry of the present vs the future of this company, with Val Venis proving that he deserves to be the #1 Contender for the WWE United States Championship. Ever since he was traded to Smackdown, Val has been constantly bashing the WWE United States Champion the Dr. of Thuganomics, the street thug John Cena. Cena right back in retaliation has proven that he won't let Val Venis intimidate him. Cena has mocked Val by coming up with raps knocking Val down saying how Val is nothing more than the past and that John Cena is the future. With Dawn Marie by Val's side, she believes Val still has it and wants to revive Val's career. Since coming to Smackdown, Val's career has taken off again as he defeated The mighty Big Show in a stretcher match. A man who John Cena also defeated for the United States Championship at WrestleMania 20. Will Val Venis prove without a shadow of a doubt that he deserves to be the WWE United States Champion by beating Cena? Or will Cena prove all the critics wrong yet again by beating Val Venis?

Also The Hurricane and Shannon Moore defend the tag team titles against Billy Kidman and Paul London in a ladder match. Tajiri will defend his cruiserweight title against Johnny Nitro. Matt Hardy takes on Rhyno. JBL will be running the gaunlet against 4 of Smackdown's international cruiserweights as JBL takes on the world.

Judgment Day Predictions

My Judgment Day predictions are as follows:

JBL I see him dominating the World beating the 4 other cruiserweights in that International Gauntlet Challenge of JBL vs. The World. The cruiserweights let's just face it are not in JBL's league, and none of them can hang with him, and that is why I see him dominating and making good on his guarantee

Tajiri I see him beating Nitro to retain his WWE Cruiserweight Championship, even though I see Nitro almost beating him but Tajiri beating him by fluke

Rhyno I see him beating Matt Hardy

London & Kidman I see them beating Hurricane & Moore in the Tag Team Title Ladder Match to become the new WWE Tag Team Champions

Val Venis I see him beating Cena to become the new WWE United States Champion

Edge I definitely see him beating Mysterio in a Falls Count Anywhere Match

Booker T I see him beating RVD by stealing a victory somehow by underhanded tactics

Eddie Guerrero I see him beating Kane and The Undertaker in a Triple-Threat Match to retain his WWE Championship, as for who he pins, I can realistically see him pinning Kane

Mordecai vs Spike Dudley

Spike Dudley comes out first. Mordecai makes his in ring debut as he comes down to the ring with his uncle Paul Bearer. Spike was attacked by Mordecai on Smackdown and he’s got a big challenge to overcome tonight. Spike looks concerned. This guy Mordecai is very strange, he’s the cousin of Kane and now that he’s by Kane’s side, who can stop them. Mordecai stares at Spike as the bell rings. Spike goes to the ropes and tries to knock Mordecai down but he can’t. He tries again and Mordecai grabs Spike by the throat and throws him down. He starts choking Spike out and breaks it up. WWE Judgment Day

Opening Contest
US Title Match
John Cena (c) vs Val Venis

John Cena’s music hits as the United States Champion makes his way down to ringside for our opening contest. Cena gets a big ovation from the fans here in Los Angeles. Ever since Cena defeated the Big Show at WrestleMania to become the champion, he’s been a fighting champion. John Cena is handed a mic and kicks off Judgment Day with an opening rap. He wants the Los Angeles fans to make some noise. THE CHAMP IS HERE!!! Cena says since coming to Smackdown Val’s been complaining about being held back. He can’t even nail Dawn in the sack. Val’s not even in his league, Cena calls Dawn Marie the biggest slut there is and that everyone has had a turn with her. If Dawn wants a real man, you have to look no further than a thug while Val you are just another dude who will come up short of being a bug at Judgment Day. Cena then insults Val's manhood by saying how Val has no balls. After tonight he will still have this title around his waist, what will Val have, absolutely nothing but an STD from Dawn Marie.

Cena gets interrupted as Val’s music hits as the challenger makes his way down to the ring with his manager Dawn Marie. Val believes that a guy like Cena is not fit to represent Smackdown as the United States Champion. Val claims that he’s going to bring back prestige to the United States Title. Val and Cena have a staredown. The bell rings and they lock up in the center of the ring. Val takes Cena into the corner and gets a few right hands, Cena gets some of his own. Cena whips Val to the ropes and takes him down with a shoulder tackle. Cena does his you can’t see me taunt. Collar and elbow tie up, goes into chain wrestling with Cena coming out on top. Val comes back with a knee to the gut and gets some right hands on Cena. He whips Cena to the ropes and takes him down with a back elbow. Val delivers a suplex and goes for a cover and Cena kicks out at two. Val delivers some knee shots in the corner to Cena and goes for a charge but Cena moves out the way. Cena rolls Val up for a 2. Now Cena’s hammering away on Val. Cena makes a mistake by turning around for one second to see Dawn on the apron. She’s trying to distract Cena which allows Val from behind to pin him 1, 2, Cena barely kicks out. Then they are really taking it to each other until Val rakes the eyes of Cena. DDT by Val and Cena kicks out at 2. Val goes up to the top rope to deliver the Money Shot. Cena gets up and Val jumps off the top rope to try a Cross-Body on Cena. Cena catches Val in mid-air and counters the Cross-Body attempt into a Powerslam to pin Val 1..2..2 1/2, Val just got the shoulder up. Val reverses a whip and throws Cena to the floor. Val gets the ref’s attention and with the ref’s back turned, Dawn Marie starts kicking away at Cena. Val goes outside and rams Cena’s shoulder into the post and then rolls Cena back in. Val whips Cena hard into the corner and then delivers a big backdrop. He goes for a cover and Cena kicks out at two. Val delivers a full nelson slam and gets a near fall.

Val then delivers an elbow drop and gets a sleeper hold on Cena. The fans get behind Cena who gets up on his feet and gets out of the hold and delivers a back suplex on Venis. Both men are down. Cena is up on his feet first and takes Val down with a shoulder block. Cena connects with the throwback and gets a cover and Val is able to kick out at 2. Cena starts delivering some right hands to Val in the corner. Cena delivers a spin-out powerbomb. He goes for a cover and Val kicks out at 2. Dawn Marie gets on the apron and distracts Cena. She tries to seduce him but Cena plants a kiss on her and Dawn freaks out. Val nails Cena from behind and rolls him up for a 2. Val drops Cena with a bulldog and gets a 2. He starts delivering some mounted punches to Cena in the corner until the ref starts counting and Val breaks it up at 3. Val argues with the ref and Dawn starts choking Cena out near the ropes. The ref turns around as Dawn lets go. Val delivers a bridging cradle suplex and Cena kicks out at 2. Val tries to ram Cena’s head into the turnbuckle but Cena puts the break on and rams Val’s head into the buckle 3 times. The doctor of thuganomics delivers a twisting belly to belly suplex on Val and goes for a cover and Val kicks out at 2. Cena sends Val to the ropes and both men take each other out with a clothesline and both men are down. Cena is first to get up, Val ducks a punch and hits a fisherman suplex on Cena. Cena ducks a punch and punches Val who falls into the corner. Cena goes for a charge but runs into an elbow and inadvertedly goes into the referee. Cena goes for a whip, Val reverses and Dawn trips Cena up. Cena is furious and starts chasing Dawn outside the ring. She gets inside and hides behind the referee and Val knocks Cena down with a clothesline. Dawn gets back outside the ring. Val goes for a suplex, Cena slips out and rolls Val up for a near fall. Cena scores with a swinging neckbreaker. Cena goes to the top and Val is trying to get back up to his feet and Cena drops a guillotine legdrop at the back of Val’s neck. He goes for a cover and gets 2 .

Cena goes for an FU again and Val slips out and counters with a DDT and gets 2. Cena ducks a clothesline and goes to the ropes and delivers the throwback. Here we go five knuckle shuffle time. Cena goes to do his signature taunt "You Can't See Me" and he pumps his shoes and bounces off the ropes to deliver a Five-Knuckle Shuffle to Val Venis to pin him 1...2...2 1/2, Val again kicks out. Then Dawn gets up on the apron to obstruct the referee's view of things which allows Val Venis to get Cena's steel chain. He wraps it around his hand to hit Cena in the head with it. Dawn did the “You Can’t See Me” hand signal as a message to Cena. Val goes to pin Cena 1..2.and Cena gets his foot on the ropes. Val can't believe it and neither can Dawn Marie. Val begins to work on the legs of Cena. He locks in the Venis flytrap which is a reverse figure four leg lock. Cena then is trying to fight through the pain. He is trying to get to the ropes and he almost gets there only for Dawn to pull the ropes away. The ref sees what Dawn just did and he ejects her from ringside which forces Val to break the hold. Val is then getting upset trying to talk to the referee to bring her back but the ref is having none of it. She’s been here the whole match by getting away with a lot without the ref noticing by distracting Cena but now the referee has caught her out. She has to leave. Dawn leaves. Val turns around and Cena goes to pick him up to deliver the F-U but Val slides off and counters it into a neckbreaker. Val goes to the top rope to try to deliver the Money Shot. He does his old signature taunt and he’s wasting time now. Val jumps and almost hit it but Cena barely rolled out of the way with Val eating canvas entirely. Cena goes to pick up Val to deliver another F-U but this time it connects. Cena goes to pin him 1, 2, 3. Cena pins Val for the 3 count to retain his United States Championship. What a battle. Cena is still the U.S. Champion. He retains his belt in a really hard fought match-up which could have gone either way. Cena goes in the crowd and celebrates his win with the fans.

Match Result: John Cena defeated Val Venis to retain the United States Title.
Match Time: 10:05

Paul Heyman is in the back in his office and lets everyone know that it feels good to be back. He enjoyed his time on Raw as the GM for one week but now he’s back on the number 1 brand Smackdown. He enjoyed what happened to Eric Bischoff, Bischoff was running his mouth about controlling the Smackdown roster. He got what he deserved at the end. Dawn Marie storms into Paul’s office and she’s complaining about the referee ejecting her from ringside. Paul tells her to calm down and allows her to be at ringside for the ladder match.

Gaunlet Match
JBL vs The World

It’s now time for the International Gaunlet match. JBL will be taking on 4 International cruiserweights in a gauntlet match. JBL’s music hits as he comes down to the ring. Tag Team Championship
Ladder Match
The Hurricane and Shannon Moore (c) vs Billy Kidman and Paul London

The next match is a ladder match for the tag team titles. Two ladders are set up near the entrance way and expect some to be underneath the ring. Last year at Judgment Day we had a tag team title ladder match and we are getting one again. The challengers Billy Kidman and Paul London come out first with their manager Dawn Marie. Dawn starts climbing the ladder and poses as Kidman and London just stare at her body. They take her down as she walks down with them to ringside. Dawn didn’t have the luck earlier on but she may get some luck now as Kidman and London have the chance to become tag champs. They believe that they were robbed in the tag team turmoil a few weeks ago. They get their big opportunity right now. The Hurricane’s music hits as the tag team champions, The Hurricane and Shannon Moore come down with Torrie Wilson and hey it’s Stacey Keibler. The tag team champions are so lucky and Dawn Marie is furious. Helms and Moore go past the ladder and just look at it but the ladies go under the ladder. Could this lady luck be bad luck? Tazz thinks it’s great to see three hot divas here but for this sort of match they shouldn’t be there at ringside. Kidman and Torrie are no strangers to each other, they used to be an item in WCW.

The bell rings, both teams look up at the belts and then have a staredown and talk trash. Kidman and London shove the tag champs and the champs hammer right away at the challengers. London and Moore are fighting it out near the corner of the ring on the ladder. London bashes Moore's head into the ladder. London comes flying off the ladder doing a 450 Splash right on to Moore. Hurricane is back on his feet, London runs up the ladder and dropkicks him in the face. He is quite far away from the belt though, he tries to reach but Moore tips the ladder over sending London crashing down to the mat. London goes to the second rope and does a springboard clothesline what a move. London hits a springboard second rope moonsault. Kidman and London are both climbing the ladders at the same time. Hurricane stops both of them and amazingly takes them both down with the hurrislam and falls down himself.

The divas again get involved and the ref has had enough and ejects all three of them from ringside. Dawn gets chased by Torrie and Stacey to the back. It is just the tag teams left and they are all back on the ladder again. Moore knocks London down. Kidman pushes the ladders away and Hurricane & Moore are literally hanging in the air with their hands on the titles. The championship is within their grasps. Kidman grabs a ladder and climbs it. He jumps off that ladder and in mid air takes out Hurricane with a shoulder block, and Kidman & Hurricane are both taken out. The crowd chants Holy Shit as they both end up falling from like 15-20 ft in the air. Moore is still hanging in the air holding one of the Tag Team Titles, and he jumps off the title and takes out London with a Splash. That could have been a major mistake by Shannon Moore. He had the match won but took a major misk. This could cost them the match. Now London hits a springboard bulldog and climbs the ropes for a Shooting Star Press on Moore but Moore moves out the way. Kidman hits a running powerbomb on The Hurricane. He sets up the ladder near the corner and climbs up. He hits a shooting star press on The Hurricane. What a move. A lot of high risk moves are pulled off here as London elevates Moore with a backdrop into the ladder. Hurricane is on the apron with Kidman and drops the eye of the Hurricane on Kidman into that ladder. That has got to hurt. Kidman and London find another ladder from under the ring and bring it in. Judgment Day Review

I loved Judgment Day as it was a really really great PPV and I give props to my man Kintaro once again for making this a pay per view that was five-star worthy, almost like he never misses a beat

John Cena vs. Val Venis for the U.S. Championship sure entertained me from start to finish, great opening contest, and I want to see the 2 of them hook it up again as I was really impressed with Val during this match

JBL vs. The World, JBL guaranteed victory, and he comes out on top just like how I knew he would, the cruiserweights aren't in his league and they never will be, and now he can move on to the King of the Ring

Hurricane & Moore retaining their WWE Tag Team Championship in an awesome Ladder Match, as good as any ladder match in history and that is saying something as this ladder match kept me entertained the whole way through

Matt Hardy beating Rhyno, love it, only bigger and better things to come for Matt Version 1

Great Cruiserweight Championship match with Tajiri retaining his title, love it

Edge beating Rey Mysterio, awesome match, and now Edge can move on to bigger things that being the WWE Championship and now nothing will stop him from getting there

Booker T beating RVD, really great match

As for the main event match, the Triple-Threat Match for the WWE Championship with Eddie coming out on top in the end, I loved it, awesome, awesome, what a way to cap off the ppv, and no one gave him a prayer's chance of winning this match and he comes out on top and overcomes adversity once again, really great match. I especially love when Edge came out of nowhere and attacked everybody, and even gave Rey a Con-Chair-to, now Edge when he can do all of that to so many people, it just proves how psychotic, just how ruthless Edge can really be, and that he definitely deserves to be in the main event picture on Smackdown now

Great PPV, and now it is on to the King of the Ring!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks for the review. I'm glad you loved the show. It will now start to get even better now because of the return of the King of the Ring PPV. I was a huge fan of the KOTR tournament and this event will feature both brands. Qualifying matches will take place on the next Raw and Smackdown show. It will be a 16 man tournament with the quarter finals, semi finals and finals taking place on the ppv. Still welcoming reviews for the Judgment Day ppv before i move on to the next Raw show.

King of the Ring will look to be a great PPV and I am glad that you brought it back Kintaro especially as a way to replace Bad Blood 2004 as King of the Ring this pay per view is single-handedly a prestigious pay per view as it has created legends of this business and is a tournament that is used as a launching pad for future stars of this business, and for KOTR 2004 I cannot wait until the actual tournament itself to start especially with the select few that being the 16 men, and then it being trimmed down to 8 for the pay per view. As well with Rock back from suspension will he be able to go after the World Title
