Match 1
6 Man Tag Match
William Regal, Eugene and Tajiri vs La Resistance and Rhyno

The announcers welcome us to the show as Raw begins with a 6 man tag team match. Jim Ross states that if La Resistance and Rhyno win this match then Rhyno will receive an Intercontinental title match at Unforgiven and La Resistance will get a tag team title shot at Unforgiven. Rhyno and La Resistance come down first. Jerry Lawler mentioned that Trish Stratus is not here tonight after what HBK did last week but she will be here live via satellite for an interview with Eric Bischoff later on. Tajiri comes down next with Regal and Tajiri. Gail Kim accompanied them to ringside. Eugene and Sylvan start things out and Sylvan with a thumb to the eye sends Eugene into the ropes and goes for a hiptoss, Eugene blocks and hits a clothesline. Sylvan dodges a shouder block and tries to roll Eugene up but only gets a two count. Sylvan makes the tag to Robert Conway. Conway gets some quick offense but Eugene comes back with some right hands and follows up with a dropkick. William Regal is tagged in and Regal knocked Conway down with a European uppercut. Regal goes for a wristlock, Conway elbows Regal in the face and delivers a suplex and got a 2 count. Rhyno is tagged in and Rhyno hammers away at Regal with some right hands but Regal fights back with lefts and rights to knock Rhyno down. He tags in Tajiri who goes to work on Rhyno with some kicks, Rhyno nails Tajiri in the face with a right hand and sends Tajiri into the ropes but Tajiri catches him with a handspring elbow.

Tajiri whips Rhyno into the turnbuckle but ran into a clothesline by Rhyno. Rhyno and La Resistance then exchanged quick tags as they worked over on Tajiri. Sylvan distracted the ref while Conway and Rhyno got some cheapshots on Tajiri. Tajiri then avoids a charge and locked in the tarantula and then whipped Sylvan into the ropes and delivers a spinning heel kick and got a 2 count. Now Tajiri exchanged tags with Regal and Eugene as they work over on Sylvan. Regal went for the Regal stretch but Conway breaks things up. Conway gets the tag back in and works over Regal and then Rhyno is tagged in as he works over Regal with some right hands, but Regal fights back and hits an inverted suplex and got a 2 count. The action went back and forth and now Eugene is in fighting it out with Conway. Conway rams Eugene head into the turnbuckle but it has no effect on Eugene. Eugene points at Conway and imitates Hulk Hogan and delivers the big boot and then follows up with a legdrop. He went for the pin and Sylvan breaks it up. All hell breaks loose in the ring, Regal and Eugene dump Sylvan over the top rope. Rhyno and Tajiri end up brawling outside and Rhyno hit Tajiri with the gore. Rhyno then starts stalking Gail around ringside and starts taunting her. Regal ran the ropes but gets tripped up by Sylvan. La Resistance then hit The Au Revoir on Eugene and pinned him for the 3 count. A major victory here for Rhyno and La Resistance and now they will receive title shots at Unforgiven.
Winners: La Resistance and Rhyno

Backstage Randy Orton cuts a promo and he didn’t care who wins tonight in the 3 stages of hell match. The good thing for him is that he doesn’t have to deal with Chris Benoit anymore but if Benoit wanted some then he has to deal with Batista. Charlie Haas confronts Orton because he didn’t like the way how Orton made comments about his partner Shelton Benjamin last week. Haas wanted a title shot tonight and Orton denies him a shot because he feels Haas isn’t deserving of a title shot. Orton said he’s got the night off tonight and warned Charlie that he better get moving otherwise he will also put him on the shelf. Orton continued to talk and Haas knocked Orton down with a right hand and walked off. Orton then decided to accept the challenge.

Trish Stratus appears via satellite and sends a message to Shawn Michaels

Eric Bischoff made his way down to the ring and Bischoff discussed HBK’s suspension. Bischoff warned every Raw superstar that anyone who crosses the boss will suffer the same fate as HBK. What HBK did to him was bad enough but what he did to poor Trish Stratus was certainly Unforgiving. Bischoff then talks to Trish who appeared via satellite and she has a bruise on her eye. Trish said her pretty face has been ruined by the not so sexy boy Shawn Michaels. She called him a coward for hitting a woman. Trish announced that she will be cleared to wrestle by next week but she’s holding off her in ring return for another 2 weeks. She requests Bischoff to grant her a title shot at Unforgiven against Gail Kim and Bischoff made Trish vs Gail Kim official for Unforgiven. Trish said a lot of things were going on in her mind this week. Trish stated that she was thinking of suing Shawn for assault, she wanted to take action on him. However she’s not a bitch, she’s not heartless like The Heartbreak Kid. Since Shawn has now become a father she’s had a change of heart. She wants Eric Bischoff to lift his suspension because the only way she is willing to forgive him if he comes out next week Live on national tv and apologises to her.

Bischoff is quite surprised her and tried to talk Trish out of it. Even Jerry Lawler was surprised and Jim Ross said he doesn’t believe this jezebel at all. Trish said she’s not done yet, however if Shawn does not turn up next week to apologise and decides to sits at home with his wife and kids then she will take further action and she will sue him. Trish sends a message to Shawn and told him to do the wise thing because if he wants to feed his family then he better turn up next week. Jim Ross thinks Trish is up to something. Lawler starts arguing with Jim Ross and defends Trish. Eric Bischoff has a smile on his face and agreed with Trish and decided to give Shawn a chance and lifted his suspension only if he comes out next week and apologises not only to her but also him because Shawn also superkicked him for no reason. Bischoff said don’t worry Shawn, I’m not gonna make you join some special club because Eric Bischoff doesn’t swing that way. Bischoff stated that if Shawn decides to pull any smart tricks when he shows up next week then he will fire him on the spot. Bischoff leaves to huge heat.

Backstage Gail Kim is shown watching Trish’s announcement on the monitor.

Backstage Edge cut a promo on Kurt Angle. Edge said he’s sick and tired of Kurt Angle, tonight this rivalry will come to an end. Edge said he’s done a lot of humiliating things to Kurt, he shaved his head bald, he started the “you suck” chants Tonight in one of the most brutal matches ever he is going to finish this once and for all. He’s going to put Kurt out of his misery and then Edge will go on to become champion at Unforgiven.

Match 2
World Heavyweight Title Match
Randy Orton © vs Charlie Haas

Orton and Haas start off with some lock ups until Haas gets an armdrag on Orton. He then works on Orton’s arm until Orton rakes Charlie’s eyes and sends him into the ropes and lands a dropkick. He went for a pin and got a 2 count. Orton starts to maul Haas in the corner but Haas comes back with a back body drop and a suplex. Haas then went for a german suplex but Orton catches him with an elbow to the face. Orton hits his inverted headlock backbreaker and got a 2 count. Orton then takes control as he began to wear down Haas. Haas then reversed a whip and hit Orton with a belly to belly overhead suplex and gets a near fall. Haas applies the Haas of Pain but Orton reaches the ropes. Haas then hit a german suplex and gets another near fall. He goes up top and hits a flying cross body but Orton rolls through and got a 2 count. They exchange punches until Orton ducked a punch and Haas accidently knocked the ref down.

Orton ran the ropes but Haas caught him with an exploder suplex. Haas went for the pin but the ref is down. Kane ran down and started fighting with Haas and hit him with the chokeslam. Kane then left and Orton went for the pin and the ref starts to revive and makes the count and Haas kicks out at 2. Orton is furious at the ref and then Orton brings Haas back to his feet and hit the RKO and pinned him for the 3 count. After the match Orton gets on the mic and started bragging about his win and vows to dominate as world champion. Orton does his trademark pose but suddenly Shelton Benjamin is on the apron. Omg Shelton is back. Randy Orton turns around and Shelton hits a springboard clothesline and the crowd is going nuts. Shelton beats the hell out of Orton and Haas gets back in as they hit their tag team finisher, the superkick german suplex combo on Orton. Haas and Benjamin embrace in the ring and Flair and Batista run down but Haas and Benjamin get out of the ring and celebrate up the ramp. Evolution are furious and Haas and Benjamin taunt Evolution up the ramp.
Winner: Randy Orton

Backstage Randy Orton storms into Bischoff’s office with Flair and Batista. Orton starts complaining and Eric had no idea that Shelton was going to be back tonight. Orton wanted Bischoff to do something about it so Eric books the Raw main event for next week, Randy Orton vs Shelton Benjamin. Shelton’s in ring return match. Orton complained about defending his belt again so Eric told him that the world title will not be on the line.

Another vignette is aired for Nova. Nova will be coming soon to Raw.

Backstage Shelton Benjamin is celebrating backstage in the locker room with Charlie Haas. Kurt Angle shows up and welcomes Shelton back. Kurt said now Team Angle is complete, oh it’s true it’s damn true. They have a group hug. The World’s Greatest Tag Team fire Kurt up for his huge match tonight.

Match 3
Mark Jindrak vs Chris Benoit

Mark Jindrak came out with Coach. Coach got on the mic and believes that Jindrak did not deserve to be superkicked last week but Shawn Michaels has been dealt with but tonight Mark Jindrak is gonna make an impact just like he has been doing over the last couple of weeks. Since being drafted here, no one has been able to defeat his protégé. Jindrak started doing push ups and Coach made a challenge to anyone who had the guts to take on the reflection of perfection Mark Jindrak? Chris Benoit came out for the challenge and he’s not in a great mood tonight after what went down last week with Evolution. The match begins, lock up to start and Jindrak breaks it up because he feels he needs to warm up a bit because he didn’t expect a former world champion Chris Benoit to come down. Coach gets on the apron to offer Jindrak some advice and Jindrak starts doing push ups. Jindrak gets huge heat for this and Benoit is not amused at all. They lock up again and Benoit backs Jindrak into the corner, the ref breaks it up and Jindrak again wants to warm up so Benoit has had enough and starts hitting Jindrak with some lefts and rights. He sends him into the ropes and knocks him down with a hard forearm. Benoit then hit a snap suplex and gets a 2 count.

Benoit is very intense tonight as Benoit starts hitting Jindrak with some vicious knife edge chops and Jindrak rolled out of the ring and Coach starts giving Jindrak some encouraging words. He gets back in and locks up with Benoit, Benoit gets a wristlock on Jindrak, Jindrak catches him with an elbow and then delivers a back body drop. Jindrak gets in a lot of offense in this match by hitting some of his moves such as the big boot, powerslam and his left hook clothesline. Jindrak then kips up and whipped Benoit into the corner but Benoit avoids a charge and follows up with a german suplex and delivers three more and went for the fifth one and hit it. Benoit goes up top but Coach distracts him and Jindrak got up and hit a huge dropkick knocking Benoit all the way to the floor. Jindrak distracted the ref as Coach gets a few cheapshots on Benoit. Coach gets caught and the ref ejects Coach from ringside. Jindrak then hits a delayed vertical suplex and Jindrak kneels on Benoit and starts flexing his muscles going for a cocky pin and Benoit kicked out at 2. Jindrak then goes for The Mark of Excellence but Benoit slipped out and locked in the crossface. Jindrak tries making it to the ropes but Jindrak taps out and Benoit wins. This was the best match of Jindrak’s career.
Winner: Chris Benoit

Following the match Chris Benoit got on the mic and demanded that Batista and Ric Flair come down to the ring right now. Evolution appear on the stage and Flair has a mic in his hand and said Chris Benoit isn’t for real now because he was always known as a one hit wonder. He had his run but now his run is over because now the era of Randy Orton has begun. Batista took the mic and said Benoit should have learnt his lesson by now and that’s not to mess with Evolution. Benoit had his title shot and lost and now he has to go back down the line before he gets another title opportunity again. Batista vows to stop anyone who dares get in Evolution’s way because their goal is to dominate Raw just like they’ve been doing ever since they were formed. Benoit said he’s had enough of the crap he’s had to put up with Evolution and challenged Batista to a match at Unforgiven. He challenged Evolution to get in the ring now and let’s fight. Flair said Benoit has more guts than brains. Batista accepted the challenge and Evolution make their way down to the ring. Benoit goes outside and gets a chair for the equaliser. Evolution rethink their decision but decide to get in and Benoit knocks Flair down with a chair. Benoit then nailed Batista with a chair to the back to knock him out of the ring. Batista is furious and wanted to get back in but Flair pulls him away. Benoit does his cut throat signal to taunt Evolution as they back up the ramp. Benoit’s music hits and what a match it is going to be at Unforgiven between Chris Benoit and Batista.

Backstage Kane is in Eric Bischoff’s office and demanded a match with Charlie Haas. Bischoff makes this match official for Unforgiven. Kane has a big smirk on his face and leaves.

The announcers recap the long feud between Edge and Kurt Angle. Once friends now enemies. Lots of history and lots of Bad Blood between these two men as they go into their final encounter tonight. They were once friends in 2000. Then Edge went on to beat Kurt Angle in the King of the Ring finals in 2001. A year later Edge beat Kurt in a hair vs hair match. Then last year Kurt put Edge out of action for over a year and then in March at WrestleMania 20, Edge made his return and attacked Kurt. Then on Smackdown Edge put Kurt out of action and Edge became a bitter crazed lunatic. Kurt would then return at King of the Ring to cost Edge the opportunity of winning the WWE Title. Then at The Great American Bash in a violent unsanctioned match, Edge used the ropes to pin Kurt Angle but following the match Kurt beat the hell out of Edge as Edge got carried out on a stretcher. Edge then returned a few weeks later to cost Kurt the opportunity of becoming champion. Then Edge was drafted to Raw and he thought he would have nothing to do with Kurt anymore but Kurt was also drafted to Raw. Then at SummerSlam, both men beat the hell out of each other in a last man standing match as neither man was able to answer the 10 count as that match resulted in a draw. Now this is it, the final encounter as this rivalry will end in a 3 stages of hell match and the winner will receive a title shot against Randy Orton at Unforgiven. The first fall will be a street fight, the 2nd fall will be inside a 15ft high steel cage and if the match is tied then it will go to a 3rd fall and that will be a stretcher match. Someone is going to be hurt real bad.

Backstage Coach is in Eric Bischoff’s office and Coach was complaining about being ejected from ringside. He starts sucking up to Eric Bischoff and wanted Mark Jindrak to get an Intercontinental title shot next week. Bischoff books Tajiri vs Mark Jindrak for Raw next week.

A split screen is shown and Edge and Kurt Angle are shown heading down to the ring for their huge match.

Main Event
#1 Contenders 3 Stages of Hell Match
1st Fall [Street Fight] 2nd Fall [Steel Cage Match] 3rd Fall [If necessary: Stretcher Match]
Edge vs Kurt Angle

1st Fall: Street Fight

Edge made his way down first. Kurt Angle then came out to a great ovation. Huge match up here. It is all legal here as the first fall is a street fight. They have an intense staredown and here we go the bell rings as both men exchange lefts and rights. They end up brawling outside until Edge whips Angle into the ring apron. Edge then grabs a trash can and tries hitting Angle with it but Angle boots him in the face. Kurt gets the trash can and nails Edge with it. They end up brawling near the ramp and then brawl near the entrance way. Angle backdrops Edge on the steel ramp. He went for a pin and got a 2 count. They brawl near ringside and Kurt sends Edge back in the ring as Kurt takes control. Edge avoids a charge as Kurt goes face first into the turnbuckle and Edge hits the Edge O Matic and got a 2 count. Edge then went outside and set up a table outside the ring. He goes back in and starts beating the hell out of Kurt. Edge tried suplexing Kurt over the top rope into the table but Kurt blocked and hit a DDT. Angle then hit some mounted punches on Edge and now Kurt went outside and set up another table beside the one that was already set up. Kurt goes back in and goes for a whip, Edge reversed and hit a flapjack. Edge then clotheslined Angle over the top rope. They end up brawling outside again and Kurt grabbed a chair but Edge dropkicked Kurt in the face. Edge sends Kurt back in and went for the 10 count punch but Kurt counters into an atomic drop and follows up with a clothesline. Angle goes for the ankle lock but Edge rolls through and went for a pin but Angle kicks out at 2. Edge went for a chinlock but Angle was able to fight out of it and hit a backdrop suplex. They brawl outside until Edge whipped Kurt into the steel steps. Edge rolls back in, Kurt trying to make it back in as he’s on the apron and Edge runs the ropes and spears Kurt Angle who goes crashing through the table. Edge crawls over and goes the pin on Kurt, 1, 2, 3. Edge wins the first fall. That is huge for Edge to get the advantage here and now the second fall will be contested inside a steel cage match. They had a classic battle inside the cage in the past but this time it’s more personal.
Winner of the first fall: Edge

2nd Fall: Steel Cage Match

The cage is starting to slowly come down and Edge rolls outside and quickly throws a chair in the ring and the trash can. He’s trying to load the ring up with some weapons that he can use in the cage match. How smart is that from Edge. Edge starts assaulting Kurt Angle and starts scraping his face on the cage. He then bounces Kurt’s head right into the cage. Edge then gets a sleeper hold on Angle, Angle trying to fight it and he does by hitting a back suplex. Both men are down, Angle slowly starting to get back up brings Edge back to his feet and tosses Edge into the cage. Then he sends him into the cage again and Edge is busted wide open. Kurt is thinking of escaping through the cage door but decides not to. He wants to inflict further punishment on Edge but that could be a major mistake here by Kurt because Edge is already up one fall. Angle went for a rear naked choke but he hasn’t got all of it as Edge is up on his feet and counters with an armdrag. Edge goes for a spear as Kurt saw it coming sidesteps Edge who goes shoulder first into the post. Angle starts hitting Edge with lefts and rights but Edge with a thumb to the eyes, runs the ropes but Angle counters with a belly to belly suplex. Angle starts climbing the top rope and Edge goes for the door, if he gets out this is over but Kurt decides to stop Edge and pulls him back in. Angle gets the trash can and nails Edge with it and went for the pin and Edge kicked out at 2. Angle then tried a spear on Edge but Edge countered into a droptoe hold.

Edge then sets up for the Edgecution but Angle counters the Edgecution and slingshots Edge into the cage. Angle starts to climb to the top rope as he attempts to climb the cage but Edge gets up and stops Angle by holding onto his leg. Edge delivers a Russian leg sweep off the top rope as both men come crashing down the mat. Edge then hit Angle with a steel chair right in the skull and went for the pin and Angle kicked out. Edge then measures Kurt up again but Angle gets a takedown on Edge and went for an ankle lock. Edge tried fighting out of it and managed to roll through by sending Angle shoulder first into the post. Edge then taunts Angle and wants the cage door open as he slowly walks over. Angle stops him and delivered a german suplex. Kurt goes for an angle slam, Edge slips out and counters with an Edge O Matic. Edge sees this as an opportunity and starts climbing the cage as he goes up to the top rope. Angle goes right after him and delivers an Angle slam from the top rope. That has to be it. Angle goes for the cover, 1, 2, 3. Kurt Angle has tied it and now we go into a 3rd fall.
Winner of the second fall: Kurt Angle

3rd Fall: Stretcher Match

What more can these two men do these each other. The final chapter in the Kurt Angle/Edge saga will be decided in the stretcher match. Kurt then immediately went for the ankle lock and Edge taps out. Angle still wants to punish Edge as he went outside and throws some steel steps in the ring. He tries hitting Edge with the steps but Edge counters with a drop toe hold, what a counter by Edge. Edge then nailed Angle with the steps right across the skull. Now Angle is starting to bleed. Edge then went outside and rolls Angle out of the ring and tried to drag Angle on the stretcher but Angle kicks Edge in the face to get off the stretcher. Angle and Edge began to exchange lefts and rights and now Angle has Edge on the stretcher. Angle attempted to drag Edge up the ramp but Edge punched him in the mid section. Edge got off and placed Angle on the stretcher and sends Angle crashing into the ring apron and the stretcher falls over. Edge then began to choke Angle and then placed Angle on the stretcher and began to drag him up the ramp. Edge tries to wheel Angle across the finish line but Angle boots Edge in the face and gets off. They end up brawling back near ringside and back into the ring and Angle whipped Edge into the turnbuckle. He comes charging in but eats boot and Edge hits a spear on Angle. Edge then sets up for a con-chair-to. Edge is setting up for it and he puts Kurt Angle's skull on the steel steps. Edge with a sadistic smile on his face and he’s stepping on Kurt's head going for the Con-Chair-to but at the last minute Kurt Angle gets his head out of there and Edge hits the chair on to the steel steps but misses entirely.

Edge then comes charging in with the chair and Angle sidesteps Edge and threw Edge over the ropes and onto the ground. Edge is hurt bad and Angle knows it and so does the ref. Angle then placed Edge on a stretcher. Kurt then decided to go for the finishing touch and got a chair and now he’s setting up for a conchairto. Angle blasts Edge across the face with a chair and then starts to drag Edge up the ramp and wheels Edge across the finishing line to win the match. Kurt Angle wins this bloody war and what a match up this was certainly a Raw MOTY candidate. What a brutal match this was, one of the most violent matches ever in Monday Night Raw history and finally a closure to one of the most heated feuds of all time. The medical staff checks on Edge and take Edge away as Angle goes back to the ring and celebrates. Now that Kurt Angle has ended his rivalry with Edge, Kurt’s next goal is to become world heavyweight champion and Kurt Angle will now go on to Unforgiven to receive a title shot against Randy Orton. Angle vs Orton for the first time ever. What a great night for Team Angle, as Shelton Benjamin is back and Kurt Angle is the #1 contender for the world title. Charlie Haas and Shelton Benjamin came down the ring and celebrated with Kurt Angle and lifted Angle up on his shoulders, shades of Orton’s celebration last week with Evolution. The fans are loving this as Team Angle continue to celebrate as Raw goes off the air.
Winner: Kurt Angle

Breaking News

Edge was injured during his match with Kurt Angle on Raw. Edge took a nasty bump on the outside of the ring near the end of the match. Edge was in a tremendous amount of pain backstage and Edge will miss about six weeks of action due to a grain/abductor muscle tear. He will not need surgery. In real life Edge missed the Unforgiven ppv due to injury so this is why I decided not to end the feud at SummerSlam but end it here on Raw. I will usually do some big matches on free tv. Sometimes i don't have some of these big matches planned for ppvs which is why i have some of the big matches on free tv.

WWE News and Notes

The World Wrestling Entertainment Raw brand PPV scheduled for Tuesday 10/19 will be titled "Taboo Tuesday." Taboo Tuesday PPV will be a Raw exclusive event and it will be the next event after the Smackdown PPV, No Mercy. The "Taboo Tuesday" PPV in October will be an "interactive" event, with fans being able to vote on "events" that will take place during the show, via WWE.com. That’s right the show will be WWE's first-ever "Interactive PPV." WWE.com will supposedly have details on this development in future weeks.

Reviewing for the frist time, not entirely caught up on things but will try my best

Nice opener to Raw, none are below their standard, maybe Rhyno is a bit better than the others in the match but glad Eugene took the fall as it keeps Regal and Tajiri strong.

Loved the Trish/Bischoff segment and indeed I call shenanigans, loved Easy E saying he doesnt swing that way, amde the whole segment sound genuine

Nice to see Benjamin and Haas gain revenge on Orton, expecting to see Batista and Flair v WGTT, should be a cracker

Very glad its Nova coming and not Simon Dean, that was a god awful gimmick

Liking the promotion of many fo the younger talents and Jndrak pushing Benoit close is good, I see big things for Jindrak in the future

Guess I got the Evolution/WGTT match worng, but Benoit v Batista should be a great non title match at Unforgiven

Great build up for the Angle/Edge match with all their history, really adds to the match

Hoping Tajiri can retain as I am a big fan of his. Plus Kane may have bad intentions for Charlie Haas

The main event was exceptional and I gathered that one or maybe both wouldnt walk out of the arena, Edge being out for 6 weeks gives you some time away to find him a storyline now that his feud with Angle is over. With Angle taking on Orton this looks like it could be a long lasting feud between Team Angle and Evolution

Overall a great Raw and Unforgiven is looking tip top, kind of giving away the result of Tajiri/Jindrak by posting that Tajiri is taking on Rhyno, maybe have a card subject to change underneath. Fully expect HBK to be attacked next week and have a match at UF too

Look forward to more

Thanks for the review, really appreciate the review. My next Raw show will be up soon and yes HBK will be having a match at Unforgiven. Stay tuned.

WWE Smackdown
August 26, 2004

The announcers welcome us to the show. They plug the huge main event for tonight. In one of the biggest main events in Smackdown history, we will see the huge SummerSlam rematch as Eddie Guerrero defends the WWE Title against The Undertaker. Also tonight the new United States Champion Rene Dupree will be bringing Café De Rene to Smackdown. Smackdown then kicks off with cruiserweight action.

Match 1
Cruiserweight Title Fatal 4 Way Match
Chavo Guerrero © vs Billy Kidman vs Funaki vs Shannon Moore
All four competitors make their way down to the ring with the champion Chavo Guerrero coming out last. Paul Heyman has been making Chavo defend the belt on many occasions. Superstars that were eliminated from the cruiserweight tournament have got their second chances here as they aim to take the belt off Chavo. Tazz said will Chavo still be champion by the time the tournament is over or will we have a new champion to face the tournament winner? Sudden death rules here, all four competitors will be in the ring at the same time. The first person to gain a pinfall or submission becomes the cruiserweight champ. For instance let’s say if Billy Kidman pins Funaki, Kidman becomes the champion. The champion does not have to be involved in the finish of the match up. The match begins and Kidman and Shannon Moore going at it while Chavo and Funaki go at it. Chavo sends Funaki out and now Chavo and Kidman double team Shannon Moore. This doesn’t last long because Chavo turns on Kidman and hits him with a clothesline. Funaki is up top and gets a high cross body on Chavo and Kidman breaks up the pin. Shannon Moore ducks a charge from Chavo to send Chavo to the floor. They all end up brawling outside and Shannon Moore goes up top and hits a hilo off the top rope taking out the rest of the competitors. They all get back in and now Chavo sends Funaki to the corner and ran into a boot. Funaki was going for a tornado ddt but Kidman shoves Chavo over the top rope. Kidman hits a facecrusher on Chavo and Shannon Moore breaks up the pin.

Now Moore and Kidman go at it and Moore hits a dropkick and follows up with a hurracanrana. Now Funaki and Moore going at it until they go after Kidman and Chavo. Shannon Moore missed a spinning heel kick and Chavo throws Moore to the floor. Chavo hit the Gory Bomb on Funaki but Kidman broke it up the pin with a legdrop over the top rope. Kidman then goes up top for the shooting star press. Kidman hit it but botched it as he crushed Chavo. He went for the pin and Funaki breaks up the pin. Kidman and Funaki exchange lefts and rights until Kidman backdrops Funaki to the floor. Shannon Moore is up top and Kidman turns around and Moore hit the Moore Gasm. He went for the cover and pinned Kidman for the 3 count and became the cruiserweight champion. Shannon Moore celebrates his win as he becomes champ for the first time. Moore was robbed last week by Kidman and London in the tournament but this back route got him the cruiserweight title. What a victory for Moore. Chavo Guerrero gets attended to by officials and Chavo is hurt real bad after the shooting star press gone wrong by Billy Kidman.
Winner and new Cruiserweight Champion Shannon Moore

Backstage we get an update on Chavo as Rey Mysterio and Eddie Guerrero who have had problems with Chavo in the past are showing some concern. Afterall Chavo is Eddie’s nephew. Chavo then gets taken away in an ambulance.

Match 2
RVD vs Johnny the Bull Stamboli
Johnny the Bull’s music plays as Bull is already in the ring. RVD then came out to a great pop. The match begins and Bull immediately kicks RVD to the gut and starts hammering away at Van Dam. A great long match full of great back and forth action with plenty of near falls. Eddie and Undertaker exchanged headlocks and armbars to start the match. At times Undertaker seems too powerful for the much smaller Eddie Guerrero but Eddie counters Undertaker’s strength with his own quickness. Back inside the ring, Undertaker hit a diving clothesline and got a 2 count. Eddie then fights back and went back to work on Undertaker’s leg. He went for a single leg crab and Undertaker made the ropes. Eddie then went up top again but Undertaker manages to stop him. Undertaker hits a big superplex off the top rope and got a 2 count. Both men slowly beginning to get back up. This is one of the greatest main events in Smackdown history and it’s living up for it. Eddie went up top and hits the frog splash, he does it again and Undertaker kicks out at 2 ½. Eddie can’t believe it. What does he have to do to put away The Undertaker. Eddie went outside to get a chair but the ref takes it away from him, Eddie can’t do no lying and cheating here. Undertaker sits up, Undertaker stalking Eddie. Eddie better turn around and he does. Undertaker kicks Eddie to the gut and and hits the last ride. That’s gotta be it, 1,2, and Eddie got his shoulder up at 2 ½. Can you believe the action in this fantastic match. How the hell did Eddie pull that off. Taker then whips Eddie into the corner and hits Eddie with a big splash in the corner. Undertaker went for the dragon sleeper, Eddie tried to break out of it by pushing off the ropes, just like how he won at SummerSlam but this time Undertaker kicks out at 2 ½. Undertaker is pissed and gets up and hits Eddie with a chokeslam.

Here we go, Undertaker does his cut throat signal. Taker realising the end maybe near, we could have a new champion. Undertaker hits the tombstone on Eddie, we are going to crown a new champion here. It’s over forget about it. 1, 2 and what the hell JBL pulls the referee out of the ring which causes the referee to call for the DQ. Undertaker is declared the winner by disqualification. This means Eddie retains the title. JBL just ruined one of the greatest matches in Smackdown history. JBL with a big smirk on his face and look at the look at The Undertaker’s face as he goes right after JBL. JBL begs for mercy and suddenly Steven Richards runs down with a chair in his hand and levels The Undertaker across the back, what the hell. JBL and Richards assault Undertaker and Steven Richards nails The Undertaker with the Stevie kick. JBL still mad that he didn’t go to SummerSlam to get a title shot as he was defeated by The Undertaker. They send Undertaker back in and Richards slips in a chair. JBL cracks Undertaker with a hard chair shot across the skull busting The Undertaker wide open. JBL hits a clothesline from hell. JBL then hits the clothesline from hell again. JBL gets booed heavily. JBL’s music hits as he puts his suit back on. Undertaker had the match won and he was robbed by JBL. The big question is that why did Steven Richards help JBL attack The Undertaker? The cameras quickly cut backstage to Paul Heyman who’s with Dawn Marie. Heyman said since we don’t have a # 1 contender, next week a 20 man battle royal will take place and the winner will face Eddie Guerrero for the WWE Title at Smackdown’s next ppv No Mercy. Back in the ring JBL and Steven Richards are still celebrating. Could JBL win the battle royal next week and become #1 contender? JBL continued to celebrate as Smackdown goes off the air.
Winner by disqualification: The Undertaker

It ain’t no stopping them nowwww and tonight it starts when he beats Randy Orton. Evolution’s music hits as they make their way down to the ring. Randy Orton congratulated Kurt on becoming # 1 contender and Shelton for recovering from his injury. However it could be the biggest mistakes of their lives because they could be going back to the sideslines very soon. Orton yelled at Haas and Benjamin for assaulting him last week and promised to make an example out of Shelton Benjamin tonight. Shelton fires back and said after what Orton did to him he’s told Orton to bring it on. Orton turns his attention to Kurt Angle and said that Raw is Evolution’s home. Ever since Evolution was formed they have been dominating Raw. What Team Angle did on Smackdown was the past but on Raw, Evolution are in full control. Orton brags that he is the legend killer, the King of the Ring. He is undefeated this year in a one on one match at a ppv. What Orton’s done in this business is impressive but Kurt said he has a mighty impressive list himself. In his first rookie year he became European Champion, Intercontinental Champion, he held both of these titles at the same time. He became King of the Ring, headlined SummerSlam and then won the WWE Title woooooo. Flair takes exception to this and cuts him off and said nobody says whoooooooooo around here except me. They have a wooo off and they get calmed down by the rest of their group members. Shelton sends a message to Orton that tonight he’s going to embarrass Orton. Flair fires back and challenged Shelton Benjamin to a match at Unforgiven. He would love nothing but to teach a punk like Shelton Benjamin a lesson. Shelton accepted the challenge. Kurt tells Evolution if they wanna try and intimidate him they better remember this, he won an Olympic gold medal and wrestled in the WrestleMania main event with a broken freaking neck. He’s a wrestling machine and at Unforgiven he plans on making Orton the shortest reigning world heavyweight champion in history, that’s right he plans on breaking his ankle and making him tap. Eric Bischoff is first came out. He then introduces Trish Stratus who comes down to the ring. Trish got on the mic and said she has been cleared to wrestle and next week she will be making her in ring return in a mixed tag match. She will team with Rhyno and they will face Gail Kim and Tajiri. Trish said she will make history and become a record breaking 5 time women’s champion. Trish said she even had to cancel a photo shoot because she has a bruise on her eye and blamed Shawn Michaels for it. Trish says now Shawn is a has been, the spotlight isn’t on Shawn anymore. She then calls out Shawn Michaels and HBK returns and receives a great ovation. Bischoff said he was disgusted by HBK’s actions and if HBK wanted to remain in this company then not only does he have to apologise to Trish but him. Michaels first of all runs down Bischoff, Eric warns Shawn and demands an apology. Trish said to Michaels that she is the hottest diva in the WWE and look at what Michaels just did to her. She wants Michaels to apologise right now.

Shawn said he would never put his hands on a woman but Trish pushed her buttons so far and she was asking for it. Michaels knows what he did was wrong and since he’s man enough to apologise he will. He ended up apologising to Bischoff and Trish but Trish said that’s not good enough. There was a time where she was once humiliated and had to get down on her hands and knees and apologise and she wanted Shawn to do the same. Bischoff yells at Michaels and orders him to do it. Michaels grabs Bischoff by the collar and suddenly CHRISTIAN jumps Michaels from behind. Where the hell did he come from. This was all a set up. Christian is back. Christian assaults Michaels, putting on a vicious beating on HBK. He holds Michaels as Trish slaps Michaels in the face. He grabs him by the face and told him to never put his hands on Trish again. Christian then drops HBK with the unprettier. Christian got the mic and said Captain Charisma is back. He tells his peeps that he is the new people’s champion, the new sexy boy. Michaels is out cold and Bischoff yells in his face just like Shawn superkicked him and he never saw it coming, Shawn never saw it coming tonight and Bischoff welcomes Christian back. Bischoff announced Christian’s ppv return match. At Unforgiven, for the first time ever Christian will face Shawn Michaels. Christian and Trish make out. Bischoff, Trish and Christian leave to huge heat.

Backstage Christian and Trish are embracing each other and Todd Grisham manages to get a word with Christian so Christian can explain his actions. Christian said he is a world class superstar, he’s better than Shawn Michaels. Shawn made the biggest mistake of his life when he superkicked Trish. Nobody does that to Captain Charisma’s girlfriend. Christian said he was on the shelf for 4 months and now he’s back and now he’s going to be better than ever. Shawn deserved what he got and Shawn did a good thing not to bring his wife and kids here tonight. At Unforgiven he will beat HBK. Christian said his career is now going to take off because he is now the real icon, the real showstopper, he’s now going to become a headliner and will soon be the main event. Why because that’s how I roll.

Randy Orton vs Shelton Benjamin

Shelton Benjamin came out first alone, Randy Orton then came down without Evolution. The two men exchange blows in the early going until they both go for a dropkick, but kick each other’s feet. They get up quickly and stare each other down until Shelton takes Orton down with an armdrag and follows up quickly with a powerslam and got a 2 count. Shelton then clotheslines Orton over the top rope and then ran the ropes and hit a plancha on Orton. The action goes back and forth as Shelton and Orton put on a fast match with a lot of counters and lock ups. Orton takes control with a few chin locks which Shelton battles out of. Shelton hit Orton with a big flying forearm and then went up top and hit a flying crossbody but Orton rolled through and got a 2 count. Orton went for his modified backbreaker again but this time Shelton counters into the Russian legsweep. Shelton then hit a stinger splash and follows up with a T-bone suplex. He went for the pin and Ric Flair breaks up the pin and the ref calls for the bell causing Orton to be disqualified. Flair got a chop block on Shelton and starts assaulting him until Charlie Haas ran down to even it up. Batista came in and drops an already injured Haas with a spinebuster. Kurt Angle came down and tackled Batista but Evolution with a 3 on 1 assault on Angle. Flair then slaps the figure four on Shelton and then Orton hit the RKO on Kurt Angle. WWE Smackdown
September 2, 2004

The announcers welcome us to the show as they plug the main event for tonight. Tonight a 20 man battle royal takes place with the winner taking on the WWE Champion Eddie Guerrero at Smackdown’s ppv event No Mercy next month. Earlier on today RVD challenged the United States Champion Rene Dupree to a match tonight and we will see that match tonight. We will also see a SummerSlam rematch between John Cena and Booker T.

The Big Surprise

The WWE Champion Eddie Guerrero made his way down to the ring. Eddie first said he hoped Chavo gets soon better. He visited him in the hospital and they have now worked out things and everything is now fine between them. After all they are familia. Eddie says he’s lucky to still be WWE champion but tonight we will find out who his opponent will be at No Mercy. We could possibly see Eddie Guerrero/The Undertaker part 3 or we could see a new challenger for Latino Heat. Being a fighting champion means taking on all challengers and he’s been doing that over the last 6 months. Eddie said he was going to be there at ringside to scout his next opponent. Val Venis came down with Dawn Marie to interrupt and they confront Eddie. Val said Eddie is looking at his next challenger because tonight is The Big Valbowski’s big night. He’s been a former Intercontinental champion, European champion and tag team champion but he’s never won the big one. Val has a smirk on his face. Val said he has all the qualities to become the WWE Champion and he will become the first ever adult film star to hold the big one.

While Val was running his mouth, Eddie was checking out Dawn Marie. Eddie surprises Val by telling him that he’s actually a fan of Val’s movies. Eddie said he’d love to be part of a movie himself. The movie should be called Latino Heat. With a hot mamasita like Dawn Marie and Latino Heat, they would heat up the adult film industry. Val was furious and Eddie starts mocking them. Dawn said she doesn’t like being disrespected and said she will take action on Eddie. Lita’s music hits. Lita says since coming to Smackdown, Val and Dawn have done whatever it took to humiliate her. Ever since Matt beat Val, she's been a lot relaxed and now there's good time for both of them. However now there are bad times for Val Venis. Eddie says orrale mamasita Lita, what's in store for Val Venis? Lita says since Val has been gloating about having the big one well Lita said Val’s big thing comes only in small packages but something big thing tonight will come in a big package. Val seemed confused and Lita vows that Val will never win the big one. Lita dropped the mic and left the ring with Eddie and Val and Dawn are certainly confused over what Lita meant. Lita ended up staring them down from the ramp.

A vignette is aired for Carlito Caribbean Cool. Carlito claims that he’s the most coolest guy ever. He notices a kid talking on the phone. He snatches it off him and the kid calls him a jerk. Carlito says that’s not cool. He’s a second generation star. The son of wrestling legend Carlos Calon. Carlito said people like you disgust me so Carlito spits an apple in the face of the poor kid and made him cry. Carlito looks at the phone and said he’s calling everyone in the WWE and he’s warning them that’s he’s coming soon. He throws the phone down and walks off.

Match 1
US Title Match
Rene Dupree © vs RVD

RVD came out first, The US Champion Rene Dupree then came down to huge heat. Dupree already holds a victory over Van Dam when he defeated him last month in the gauntlet match. The match began with RVD getting the early advantage over Dupree. RVD then whipped Dupree into the corner and ran into a reverse elbow, clothesline by Dupree and he gets a 2 count. Dupree then started taking control and worked on submission holds on Van Dam. RVD came back with some elbows to the face and ran the ropes and delivers a spinning heel kick, he follows up with a handspring splash and got a 2 count. Northern lights suplex and Dupree kicks out at 2. Scoop slam by RVD, RVD then went for the rolling thunder but Dupree got his knees up. Dupree then took control putting the boots to RVD. Dupree then delivers a suplex and then did the French tickler and follows up with a knee drop and got a 2 count. Dupree went for the Dupree driver but RVD slips out and counters with a backslide and got a 2 count. Van Dam hits a roundhouse kick and then goes up top and goes for a crossbody but Dupree rolls through with a handful of tights and gets the 3 count to win the match. Dupree steals his way to victory and celebrates up the ramp. Van Dam can’t believe it and Dupree taunts RVD by holding up the US Title belt in the air.
Winner and still US Champion Rene Dupree

Backstage Josh Matthews interviews the new Cruiserweight Champion Shannon Moore. Moore said it is a dream come true for him to become the cruiserweight champion for the first time ever. He’s one of the most underrated cruiserweights on Smackdown and vows to be a fighting champion. Nunzio and Johnny the Bull confront him. Nunzio is still upset that he was eliminated from the tournament last week. Since Moore was also eliminated in the first round, he got that chance again and now he’s champion. Nunzio said he also deserved that chance and if Moore is a fighting champion how about he puts his belt on the line against him right now. Moore accepts the challenge and tells Nunzio he will see him in the ring. Moore walks off. Nunzio started placing a bet with Bull that he will win the belt.
Match 2
Cruiserweight Title Match
Shannon Moore © vs Nunzio

It is announced that Shannon Moore will be facing the winner of the cruiserweight tournament at Smackdown’s next ppv, No Mercy. An update is made during the match on Chavo Guerrero’s condition, he will be out for quite some time. They lock up and Nunzio gets a takedown on Moore, Moore then gets an armdrag on Nunzio. They lock up again and Nunzio delivers a knee to the gut and starts hammering away at Moore. He sends Moore into the corner and comes charging in, leapfrog by Moore who takes Nunzio down with a headscissors. Nunzio gets up and Moore hits a dropkick and gets a 2 count. Nunzio reverses a whip and delivers a flapjack and then follows up with a grounded front dropkick to Moore. Nunzio delivers a suplex and gets a near fall. Now Moore starts taking it to Nunzio hitting him with some high impact moves. Nunzio got back on the apron and blocked a punch from Moore. Nunzio gets a sunset flip on Moore and got a 2 count. He then sends Moore to the outside. Nunzio distracts the ref as Bull starts stomping away on Moore. He sends him back in and Nunzio starts hitting Moore with some forearms to the face. Moore ducks a clothesline and hit a flying forearm. Moore went for a DDT but Nunzio countered into the Arriva Derchi and Moore kicked out at 2 ½. Nunzio can’t believe it. He whipped Moore into the corner and ran into an elbow. Moore went up top and hit the MooreGasm on Nunzio and pinned him for the 3 count to win the match. Bull tried getting in and Moore quickly rolled out of the ring and escaped. He celebrates his win up on the ramp.
Winner: Shannon Moore

Backstage Rey Mysterio is in his locker room and Josh Matthews came in to interview Rey. He asked Rey how his condition is after what went down with HHH last week? Rey said he’s feeling a lot better now and called HHH a coward. Rey said he has 2 goals tonight. 1)To stop HHH from winning the battle royal. 2) Is to win the battle royal and go on to receive a title shot against his good friend Eddie Guerrero at No Mercy. Josh wished Rey good luck.

JBL and his new Chief of Staff

JBL’s music hits as he came down to the ring with Steven Richards. JBL takes the mic and before he can start talking he gets booed heavily so JBL runs down the fans and claims that they are simply jealous of JBL’s success. He’s been written off on several occasions only for JBL to throw it back in their face. He has pretty much everything except one thing and that is the WWE Title. The reason why he attacked The Undertaker last week is because he simply did not deserve another shot at the title. JBL complains that Undertaker ruined his chances of going to SummerSlam to fight for the WWE Title but since Undertaker lost at SummerSlam, he was not worthy enough of receiving a rematch. JBL said he is not intimidated by The Undertaker. It is now JBL’s time to shine and tonight it starts by eliminating The Undertaker in the battle royal and then JBL will go on to win the match and will become WWE champion at No Mercy. JBL then introduces his new chief of staff Steven Richards. JBL said he saw something special in Steven Richards, not only is he a talented superstar, he is very smart and very business minded like JBL. They also have something else in common, they despise The Undertaker.

Steven Richards first demands silence, the fans boo him so he starts running down the fans. Richards said his greatest claim to fame was forming The Rights to Censor but blamed The Undertaker for putting an end to his creation. He has never been the same ever since The Undertaker dismantled the Rights to Censor. Then Undertaker ran Kronik out of the WWE. Since then Richards career went down hill, he was relegated to Sunday Night Heat. Richards said last week he made a statement, he sent a message to The Undertaker and if Undertaker was wise he better stay out of his and JBL’s way tonight in the battle royal. Richards said he was inspired by JBL because JBL’s career took off when he became a rich businessman. Now that JBL has taken him under his wing, Richards feels motivated again, he believes that this is the time for his career to take off again. He continues to praise JBL and JBL said he is proud of him. JBL states that tonight will be one of the biggest nights of JBL’s career. JBL’s music hits and JBL seems very confident tonight, can JBL become the new #1 contender tonight?

Backstage Chris Jericho cut a promo. Jericho claims that he’s the biggest star in the battle royal. Tonight he’s going to win the battle royal because he’s better than everyone else. He came to Smackdown to become a champion and very soon Chris Jericho will get what he wants and that’s the WWE title.

Match 3
John Cena vs Booker T

This was a quick match with back and forth action. Cena dominated in the early going until Cena ran the ropes and Booker caught him with a spinebuster. Booker did the spinaroonie and missed a side kick and Cena drops Booker with a DDT. Cena hit the five knuckle shuffle. Cena missed the guillotine legdrop off the second rope and then Booker starts taking it to Cena. Booker sets up for the axe kick and Cena ducks the axe kick. He lifts Booker up for the FU but Booker pushes the ref on the way down to get disqualified. Cena and Booker T continue fighting until Cena throws Booker over the top rope. Booker backs up the ramp and Cena sends a message to Booker that he’s going to throw him over the top rope again in the battle royal later on tonight.
Winner by disqualification: John Cena

Backstage Matt Hardy asks Lita what exactly is that surprise. Lita tells Matt she will love that surprise because it's something that will give Paul Heyman and Val Venis nightmares.

Match 4
Tag Team Title Match

Kidman and London are already in the ring without Dawn Marie. There is no referee out here. The Dudleys then come down. The teams have a staredown and Paul Heyman came out on the stage. Heyman has decided that he’s assigned a special guest referee for the tag team title match and it is Dawn Marie. Michael Cole said “Oh come on that’s not fair at all. She’s London and Kidman’s manager, how the hell can that be fair” The Dudleys do not like this at all and London and Kidman have a big smile on their face. The match begins and lots of trash talking to start off. London slaps D-Von across the face and D-Von starts hammering away at London. He tries whipping him into the corner, leapfrog by London as he avoids a charge and London hits the dropsault on D-Von. He follows up with an armdrag and follows up with a hurracanrana surprising D-Von in the early going. D-Von reversed a whip and hit a clothesline. He then tagged Bubba and Bubba starts pounding away at London and then drops him with a hard body slam. London tagged Kidman and Bubba sends Kidman into the ropes and Kidman gets an armdrag on Bubba. Bubba gets back up and sends Kidman into the ropes and delivers a backdrop and follows up with the Bubba Bomb. He went for the pin but Dawn said she has something in her eyes and then makes the count and Kidman kicked out. Bubba starts complaining.

The action went back and forth, The Dudleys took control for most of the match until D-Von got double teamed by the tag champions. Dawn ends up going to the corner to do her hair while Bubba is complaining. She turns around and notices that it is only Kidman who’s assaulting D-Von. The Dudleys then come back and now both teams are in the ring now fighting it out. The Dudleys then hit the wazzup drop on Kidman and follow up with a double team neckbreaker on London. Dawn again made a slow count and The Dudleys start complaining. She warns them that she is the assistant of Paul Heyman and she’s the ref for this match. She tells them not to blow this tag title opportunity. The Dudleys then set up for the 3D on Kidman but wait a minute London with a rollup on Bubba and Dawn makes a fast count and London and Kidman win the match. The Dudleys are shocked as Dawn gets out of the ring as fast as she can along with London and Kidman. They celebrate up the ramp and The Dudleys are furious. They were robbed, they just got screwed tonight. The Dudleys warned them that they will get them back later on tonight in the battle royal.

Spike tried fighting back but Yang catches him with a corkscrew insiguri and got a 2 count. He goes for a suplex off the top rope but Spike fights him off to knock Yang down. Spike hit a Dudley stomp off the top right right into the abdomen on Yang. Spike with little momentum here starts hitting Yang with some clotheslines. Spike then hit the Dudley Dog and Yang kicked out at 2. Spike can’t believe it. Spike whipped Yang into the corner and comes charging in but gets caught with a reverse elbow to the face which staggers Spike. Yang goes up top and hits the Yang Time(Standing Moonsault) and pins Spike for the 3 count to advance to the Finals. Another impressive win here for Jimmy Yang. Teddy Long gets in the ring and celebrates with Yang. Next week Maven will face Paul London and the winner will face Jimmy Yang in the finals.
Winner: Jimmy Yang

Up next is the battle royal and backstage Paul Heyman confronts Eddie Guerrero for disrespecting Dawn Marie. Heyman knows that Eddie wants to be at ringside to watch the battle royal so he can get an up close view of who his next opponent will be however that will not happen. He knows how Eddie’s latino temper is like and didn’t under any circumstances want his main event ruined. Heyman has banned Eddie from ringside and told Eddie to leave the arena right now. Eddie said he was only having some fun with Dawn, he’s not going to cause trouble at all. Heyman says if Eddie didn’t leave right now he will suspend him. Eddie leaves and Heyman has a big smile on his face. Another unpopular decision made here by Heyman.

Default Re: WWE 2004: The Road to WrestleMania 21

I've had problems with my laptop and lost my files which includes some of shows for my 1995 thread. I don't have much enthusiasm for the thread right now but I will continue the WWF vs WCW 1995 thread at some point. It's strange that for the 2004-5 thread I stopped writing from September in the thread and now for the 95 thread it's the same thing. So halfway stage for both threads. I'm going back to my 2004-5 thread, still got unfinished business. My next ppv coming up is Unforgiven. Hope you guys enjoy the thread. Raw will be up soon.

WWE News and Notes

The Big Show made his return to Smackdown and made a huge statement in the 20 man battle royal. The Big Show has been out of action since April when a story line attack from Val Venis was used as cover for Big Show's legitimate knee injury.

I've decided to keep Matt Hardy on the roster even though he was injured during this time period in reality. Now that I'm not going with realism, Hardy's still on the roster. Hardy won't be wrestling for the next few weeks as he injured his knee during the battle royal. He will still be on tv.
