The BTB Advertisement Thread

The last thread was beginning to clutter and had lost some semblance to actual advertisements. This is a revised version of the BTB Advertisement thread.

Basically, this is the BTB Advertisement thread. Pretty self-explanatory, right? Wrong, here are the rules. Be warned - lack of adherence to the rules will result in a warning. If you keep it up, you will be given an infraction.

The BTB Advertisement thread allows you to post previews of your upcoming shows and PPVs and generate hype for an upcoming thread. In order to give prospective readers an incentive to view your thread, you can even post small samples of the advertised work in question, though these will be relegated to one paragraph.

If you wish, you can provide links to your threads following your advertisements.

Since the last thread was abused to some extent, I'm laying down some additional rules in order to keep this thread tidy.

1) ONE advert per every three days. We will check this thread every day to see if anyone is abusing the system and spamming the thread.
2) NO news, notes, or anything of that sort pertaining to your thread are allowed. We were lenient before in the last thread, but such posts belong in your thread. The BTB Advertisement thread is not your personal network - it is shared, and thus, only actual advertisements for shows are allowed.

Last, but not least; do NOT beg for reviews when you advertise. In jest, you can market your thread and mention reviews, but there is to be no fishing for 'em. It just reeks of desperation.

Thank you.

Friday Night Smackdown Preview

This Friday, Smackdown heads to the home state of famous WWE announcer Jim Ross and J.R. would say this show is sure to be a slobberknocker. And it will all be surronding the huge main event the General Manager of Smackdown Vickie Guerrero has booked. It will be another "test" for the World Heavyweight Champion The Undertaker when he faces Vickie's fiance Edge and his two prodigies, the Edgeheads Curt Hawkins and Zack Ryder.

Speaking of Vickie Guerrero, some wonder if tonight wil be her last night as the General Manager of Smackdown as it's been reported that the man that Tommy Dreamer and Stevie Richards talked to Vince McMahon about brining in as a potential replacement from Vickie last week -- will be in Oklahoma City! Could we see a change at the top of Smackdown tonight!

In the past few weeks since Matt Hardy's return at Wrestlemania we've seen a bitter rivalary respark itself between Matt Hardy and the United State's Champion MVP. Last week MVP attacked Hardy after his match with Chuck Palumbo leaving Hardy laid out in the ring just as Hardy to Smackdown's Most Valuable Player at Wrestlemania during the Money in the Bank Ladder Match. This week the United State's Champion has planned a huge welcome back party for his rival and former tag partner and it will take place in the VIP Lounge.

Ever since Wrestlemania when Ric Flair lost a retirement match to Shawn Michaels everyone has missed the Nature Boy, none more than "The Animal" Batista. The former member of Evolution took Ric's career and plans on living his career in honor of Nature Boy. Can he honor Flair with a win tonight when he faces the Monstorous Mike Knox?

Ric Flair is a major part of wrestling's past but Kenny Dykstra is one man that claims he will be a huge part of it's future. After demanding more air time last week Vickie Guerrero answered Dykstra's demands and put him in a match this week. How will the self proclaimed future do when he faces the fighting Irishmen Finlay.

Confirmed Matches
3-on-1 Handicap Match | Edge & The Edgeheads vs. World Heavyweight Champion The Undertaker
Batista vs. Mike Knox
Kenny Dykstra vs. Finlay

Matt Hardy joins MVP in the VIP Lounge

Yes it's back even though everyone probably forgot about it, but oh well I'll try to make you remember again. Smackdown is done and will likely be up in the next few days

WWE Capitol Punishment Preview

WWE Championship: John Cena © vs. R-Truth

Almost a month ago on Raw, R-Truth won the right to face John Cena for the WWE Championship in a triple threat match also containing Alberto Del Rio and Jack Swagger. The subsequent feud he built with Cena was about the fans just as much as the two wrestlers themselves. Truth has said lots about how he doesn’t care about the fans anymore and how the fans never got him anywhere, while Cena has been on the fans’ side, as he has been for the majority of his career. Truth has been causing trouble on Raw these past few weeks, smoking cigarettes and attacking others with a lead pipe, which he used to lay out Cena this past Monday. Truth is out to capture the WWE Championship in his first title match while Cena is out to shut R-Truth up and show him that the fans are what matter. Who will walk away a champion?

World Heavyweight Championship: Christian © vs. Randy Orton (30 Minute Ironman Match)

This rivalry started off after Extreme Rules, where Christian won his first ever World Heavyweight Championship, beating Alberto Del Rio after previous titleholder Edge was forced to retire. On Christian’s first Smackdown as champion, Randy Orton defeated him for his title and he was shattered, his boyhood dream crushed after a few measly days. At the Over The Limit pay per view last month, Christian won his title back though and Randy has not been happy about it. Orton immediately invoked his rematch clause on the first Smackdown after the event and Teddy Long decided to heat things up this time, making the match a 30 Minute Ironman match. That night ended with an RKO to Christian but the next week the champ outsmarted Orton and ended the show with him celebrating. Their contract signing a week later heated things up, bringing up topics such as passion, age and success and it ended with Christian putting Orton through a table. Two days ago though, the final Smackdown before tonight ended once again with Randy Orton kissing the World Heavyweight Championship after laying out Christian with the Rope Hung DDT. Tonight, for half an hour, these two enemies will face each other in the ring with no excuses, but who will prove himself as the ultimate champion?

United States Championship: Kofi Kingston © vs. Mason Ryan

Kofi Kingston was originally going to face either Drew McIntyre or Dolph Ziggler at Capitol Punishment but this past week on Raw, The Straight Edge Society made it clear that Kofi would be facing one of them. After being threatened by their leader CM Punk, Kofi agreed to defend his title against the Society’s largest member, Mason Ryan. Will Kofi be able to keep his United States Championship going up against literally his biggest competition so far?

Intercontinental Championship: Wade Barrett © vs. Ezekiel Jackson

A few months ago, The Corre looked like one of the most powerful groups that the WWE had seen in a long time. However, Wade Barrett’s unfulfilled promise of having “no leader” made Ezekiel Jackson leave the group and rebel against Barrett. Big Zeke had a title match at Over The Limit but Barrett kept his title after a disqualification ending, and Jackson immediately made it clear he wanted another title shot. He eventually did get his shot but not until he defeated Corre members Heath Slater and Justin Gabriel in a handicap match. Barrett has had some issues with his stable mates in the past few weeks but they look to have been resolved, as the trio beat down Big Zeke on the last Smackdown before Capitol Punishment. Once friends, now foes, either Wade Barrett or Ezekiel Jackson will walk out of the pay per view as the Intercontinental Champion, but which one will it be?

Grudge Match: Alberto Del Rio vs. Jack Swagger

This match stemmed from the aforementioned triple threat main event almost four weeks ago on Raw. Alberto Del Rio only had Jack Swagger to blame for his loss and he got his revenge, attacking Swagger backstage that night. At this point Del Rio was done but Swagger wasn’t going to let him get away with it, challenging him to a match at Capitol Punishment and Del Rio accepted after Swagger called him a coward. This last week on Raw saw Del Rio say that accepting the challenge was a mistake and Jack Swagger came out to talk some sense into him, only to be beaten down by Del Rio and his personal ring announcer Ricardo Rodriguez. Later, Swagger cost Del Rio a match against the returning John Morrison and now both men are out for revenge. This match is only about one thing, making the other man suffer, but who will get the pinfall in what is sure to be a violent affair?

#1 Contendership to the World Heavyweight Championship: Sheamus vs. Cody Rhodes vs. Sin Cara vs. Daniel Bryan (Fatal 4 Way Match)

This match was made after Sheamus complained to Smackdown General Manager Teddy Long that nobody was getting title shots apart from Randy Orton and Christian. Long immediately announced a Fatal 4 Way match for Capitol Punishment where the winner would get the next shot at the World Heavyweight Championship. Sheamus was the first to qualify for the match, defeating The Great Khali, before Sin Cara defeated Ted DiBiase to qualify. The next week Daniel Bryan defeated Mark Henry and Cody Rhodes defeated Shelton Benjamin and Wade Barrett in a Triple Threat match to also qualify. A brawl with the four men followed the next week before this last week on Smackdown, Cara defeated Rhodes and Bryan defeated Sheamus. With all four men vying for a shot at the World Heavyweight Championship, the question is: who wants it most?

Divas Championship: Kelly Kelly © vs. Kharma

It was a childhood dream for Kelly Kelly to win the Divas Championship, and everybody was happy for her when she did so at Over The Limit, defeating Brie Bella. However, Kharma was also a force running through the divas division, laying out everyone and not sparing a soul. Kelly managed to avoid Kharma for a while before she was eventually caught and Kharma’s intentions at a title match were made known. The final Raw before Capitol Punishment ended with Kharma holding up the Divas Championship and laughing. Will Kharma’s first ever WWE match see her end Kelly’s dream title run, or can the champion defy all the odds and slay the beast?
Capitol Punishment is finally posted in my thread, WWE: The TwoThousandAndEleven Diaries!

All feedback is greatly appreciated and will be returned.

"You want to know what I think? I think that Steve Austin is an asshole, Vince McMahon is an asshole, and Barack Obama is a stupid son of a bitch. Fuck that stupid n****r Obama, fuck the goverment, and fuck the U-S-A."
Andy Leavine, WWE Summer Slam, August 15th, 2011

"Due to Mr.Leavine's awful, slanderous comment towards the president of these United States, I can inform you that his contract with World Wrestling Entertainment has been terminated, and he will never be spoken of on this show again."
Vince McMahon, WWE RAW, August 16th, 2011

"Wrestling was, and still is my passion. I'd of loved to wrestle for the rest of my life, but when Vince comes up to you and says "Andy, We need you. I have a cheque for $10 Million in my pocket, and it's yours if you do something for me."
Andy Leavine, POW Magazine, August 15th, 2021

"Rock, John Cena, Steve Austin, it wasn't enough. It wasn't drawing the numbers I wanted, but I knew, if I could start some controversy, enough to shake up the f***ing white house?I'd damn sure do it. What I asked him to do? Was it right? Hell no. But the next night on RAW? 17.5 rating. A fith of America watched that evening, and anyone wants to tell me I shouldn't of done it, they're stupid."
Triple H, POW Magazine, August 15th, 2021

"Had the entire world, wrestling or otherwise, tuning in to RAW the next night, desperate to see the outcome, and even though it ended that night with no storylines or matches, it lead to so many of those who just tuned in out of interest in the biggest event in the World right now, discover that they enjoyed pro wrestling. Damn, Paul's a clever b*****d.
John Cena, POW Magazine, August 15th, 2021

I knew it all along, they didn't cut his microphone. F***ing knew it. Ten years on, and the truth comes out? Or maybe I'm wrong, it's not the truth, and he's f***ing playing us again? Who knows? I mean, I was in the WWE at the time, and I still have no clue!
Steve Austin, POW Magazine, August 15th, 2021

Who'd of thunk it? The most controversial promo in the history of the WWE, wasn't cut by Steve Austin, The Rock, Vince McMahon or even CM Punk. It was cut by 2011 Tough Enough winner Andy Leavine, and it was all Triple H's idea. The WWE faced a hell of a lot of backlash, despite everyone in the World thinking it was a shoot. Leavine became one of the most hated men in America, but he claims, once the truth was revealed, that his family and two of his friends knew the truth, and the pay was well worth it. The Leavine controversy was the single greatest thing to happen in the WWE and wrestling as a whole, bringing in over 4.2 million new fans (credit: PWInsider survey) to Wrestling. With a whole new audience, how would the next ten years play out, with one of the most anticipated Wrestlemania matches of all time coming up, one can only begin to imagine the buy rates. So whilst patriots riot outside of WWE HQ, Triple H is rolling around in hundred dollar bills, ladies and gentlemen, welcome to a new era, welcome to the most watched time in WWE history, welcome to WWE: The aftermath of the most controversial moment in the history of Wrestling.

What do you guys think of this for an opening post? Does it intereast you? Also, no offence to any black people on this forum, I highly doubt Andy is a racist, and neither am I.

WWE 2009 - Bridging The Gap

WWE Friday Night Smackdown Preview, April 24th 2009

'Under New Management'

Four for Four

In an absolutely HUGE main event set for Smackdown this week, The Legacy and Edge will team up to take on Rey Mysterio, MVP, Batista and John Cena in an 8 man tag team match! After an explosive Raw that saw all 8 men mix it up with each other throughout the show and the hostility between both sides, the Ford Center will be at boiling point come Friday night. Just who will get the upper hand as we head into Backlash this Sunday?

Second Chances

JBL and seemingly his newfound protégée, Jack Swagger, have found themselves embroiled in the epic rivalry between The Undertaker and Shawn Michaels. What his master couldn’t do on Raw, Swagger has vowed to do on Smackdown. In what will be one of the biggest matches of the young man’s career, will the All American American prove to the world that he has what it takes to hang with the best in the business? And what, if any role, will The Heartbreak Kid have to play in all of this? HBK unsuccessfully tried to interfere in the Deadman’s match against JBL this Monday night. Will he strike again or wait for the epic rematch at Backlash?

Boys in the Hood

Unified Tag Team Champions, The Miz and John Morrison have been on a verbal rampage since Wrestlemania with their so called Quest for Competition. This week the duo has challenged Cryme Tyme to a match in the hopes of striking another WWE tag team off their list. Will Cryme Tyme become number 2 or will the tag champions finally get what many believe they have coming to them?

SAVE_US_Y2J

Perhaps the biggest news of the week was Chris Jericho’s announcement on Raw, that he was going to reveal the Smackdown General Manager this Friday night! WWE.COM has exclusively learned that the new GM will be in attendance to usher in a new era for Smackdown in the WWE. The blue brand is set for an historic night. With the huge tag team main event match and the revelation of the new GM, this show is a must see for every WWE fan.

Also in action, Jeff Hardy, Matt Hardy, CM Punk, The Big Show, Rey Mysterio and more! Tune in this Friday for an unmissable edition of Smackdown!

Confirmed

The Legacy & Edge vs. Rey Mysterio, MVP, Batista & John Cena

Jack Swagger vs. The Undertaker

The Miz & John Morrison vs. Cryme Tyme

WWE: There's No Turning Back Now
THE BACKSTORY

Two Thousand and Eleven - A year which saw a huge slump in ratings, profit and appeal in the leader of the Sports Entertainment industry, WWE. A company which was founded in 1952 saw the highest of highs and the lowest of lows but since the turn of the decade, things hadn't been looking WWE's way at all.

One bright side of the upcoming year for Vince McMahon's empire was the guaranteed match that would be taking place at Wrestlemania 28 which pitted the biggest star of this generation against the biggest star of the last generation - John Cena vs. The Rock! The match was confirmed just twenty four hours after the Wrestlemania 27 event, thus allowing the match to be build up over the course of the year to truly give it the "big match" feel which it appropriately deserved. However, the worst happened. The worst think Vince McMahon, WWE creative and the WWE superstars themselves could ever think of, happened. At the 2012 Royal Rumble, John Cena reinjured and torn his right pectoral muscle, similar to his injury he suffered in the October of 2007. Unlike that injury though, John Cena wouldn't be returning after four months, he wouldn't even be returning after six months... After a week full of scans and tests from the most capable surgeons in the world, the minimum amount of time John Cena was going to be injured for was ten months: Putting him on the sidelines until the end of the calendar year. The main event of Wrestlemania 28 and arguably the biggest match since The Rock vs. Hulk Hogan was ruined and a year’s worth of planning, ruined.

The WWE's biggest star and biggest draw was injured and out for the forseeable future was bad enough but the "go-to" men in the WWE, the experienced and reliable draws weren’t in good condition either. Triple H, a former 13 time World Champion and Son-in-law of the chairman announced his retirement after Wrestlemania 28 and the shocking, unplanned retirement of Mark Calaway, known as The Undertaker, caught the wrestling world by surprise as he wrestled his last match against Christian at Wrestlemania. Even his "kayfabe" brother, Kane announced that he was retiring in the Summer as well as 7 Foot, 485 pound monster The Big Show told the WWE staff that he wanted to retire by Summer so he could spend some time with his family. All of that, on top of rumoured retirements of Chris Jericho, William Regal and Rey Mysterio within the next two years seriously put Vince McMahon, Stephanie, Triple H and WWE creative on notice as they knew they were being backed in to a corner, a dark lonely corner.

There was one shining light, however, and that was the World Heavyweight Champion Randy Orton. Randy was drawing consistent ratings on the blue brand and was champion since five days after Extreme Rules after defeating Christian for the title. That doesn't mean that there weren't plans to push someone else, though. Orton's ego grew larger and larger and it had been noticed since mid-2010. Throughout 2010, 2011 and 2012 one man had been pushed beyond the limit to become the next star in the WWE. He was the focal point of the biggest storyline in 2010 and one of the biggest in wrestling history, and he was a guaranteed star. He had charisma, he was over and he had the in-ring skills to match but when he had his shot at Wrestlemania against the World Heavyweight Champion... Orton's ego got in the way and because of politics and the stroke he had, he managed to convince the WWE higher-ups that it would be better for him to overcome the next big star, Wade Barrett, who only needed one significant win to be placed in to the elite of the industry.

**********

So here we are. Wrestlemania 28 is just behind us and the WWE made the most out of what they had, which is exactly what they have been doing for the past four years. However, with a shake-about backstage as well as a reignited flame and a motive for every superstar and staff member backstage, Vince, Triple H, Stephanie McMahon, WWE Creative and Shane McMahon (who recently jumped back on board after failing his own personal ventures) vowed that 2012 and 2013 would be different to previous years and that it was time for change! Who will rise to the top? Who will fail? Who will fall victim to politics and who will be at the top of the food chain? For now, we can't exactly answer these questions but all we know is that...

THERE'S NO TURNING BACK

This week, on EPW ON HBO:

We are just two weeks away from EPW's long awaited first pay per view, Still Barely Legal, and one of the most anticipated matches of the night has got to be Rob Van Dam taking on Shane Douglas in a Hardcore match! Ever since EPW first hit the air waves, these two extreme titans have been dying to get their hands over, but before they get that chance, they first must wrestle in "Pick your Poison" matches, where their opponents at SBL have hand picked who they will face! This week, we will have the first of those in our main event! We know that Rob Van Dam will be in the match, but we have no idea who "The Franchise" has picked as his opponent! Will the element of surprise prove too much for RVD, or will it be "Mr Monday Night" with his arm raised at the end of the night?

A few weeks back, Paul London & Brian Kendrick won a match to earn the right to face Mexico's Most Wanted for the EPW Tag Team Titles at Still Barely Legal. However, a lot of people have questioned London and Kendrick's ability to capture the titles at the big show, so London & Kendrick issued an open challenge this week, which the team of Santino Marella and Vladimir Kozlov accepted. The question now is did London & Kendrick make a mistake issuing this challenge? The "Moscow Mauler" has a long history of putting people on the shelf, and that's the last thing London & Kendrick need just weeks before their big title match!

Plus, Philadelphia Wrestling Circuit had their first show not that long ago, and this week on EPW, we will be showing some of the big highlights from that show!

All this and more on EPW ON HBO!!! BE THERE!!!

RESULTS ARE NOW UP!! CHECK IT OUT

WWE 2009: Reaching New Heights

Raw Preview
April 6, 2009
Houston Texas

'Out with the Old...'

New (Wrestling) Year
Following Wrestlemania 25, we now start the year long journey to Wrestlemania 26. The first stop on the road is Backlash at the end of the month, and the wrestlers of Monday Night Raw will be looking forward to setting the ball rolling in the same arena as one of the most monumental events in professional wrestling history.

New Champion
Last night, John Cena won the World Heavyweight Championship, bringing it to Raw in the process. But one thing that The Champ knows is that the title brings an almighty big target with it. One of the men that will no doubt be gunning for Cena is Randy Orton, who will no doubt be furious over failing to win the WWE Championship from Triple H at Wrestlemania. Rey Mysterio also defeated JBL for the Intercontinental Championship at the Grandest Stage of Them All in very quick fashion, and Mysterio is in high spirits following the victory.

New General Manager
WWE Chairman Vince McMahon will be in attendance on Raw to announce who the new General Manager of Raw is. McMahon has kept his cards extremely close to his chest, as there is no indication who the appointment could possibly be.

New Legend?
Chris Jericho beat 3 legends at Wrestlemania. Ricky Steamboat, Jimmy Snuka and Roddy Piper were unable to defeat 'the best in the world at what he does', despite Steamboat proving to the world that he does still have it. Jericho has asked for some time to speak on Raw to no doubt discuss his feat at Wrestlemania, and possibly to address the man who punched him, Mickey Rourke.

New Wrestlers
With the closure of ECW, Monday Night Raw has received some of the ECW wrestlers. One of these stars is Evan Bourne, who is going to face fellow ECW alumni Mike Knox on the first Raw following Wrestlemania. Randy Orton's Legacy of Cody Rhodes and Ted DiBiase Jr will also be facing former ECW stars in DJ Gabriel and Kofi Kingston.

New Challenges
The Miz and John Morrison lost the Champions vs Champions match at Wrestlemania, but it will not stop them bragging about how great they are. The Miz will go one on one with Cryme Tyme's JTG, in a match that will surely bolster the Brooklyn Boys' title aspirations if JTG can come out with a victory.

Confirmed:

World Tag Team Champion The Miz vs JTG
Legacy (Cody Rhodes & Ted DiBiase) vs Kofi Kingston & DJ Gabriel
Mike Knox vs Evan Bourne
Chris Jericho talks about what happened at Wrestlemania

*Card subject to change*
Will be up later tonight at some point, the link is in my sig, yo

WWE Friday Night Smackdown Preview
July 1st, 2011
-It was last week when Christian regained his #1 contender's spot when he and Mark Henry defeated the team of Kane and Randy Orton. Christian revealed that the referee had made a bad call at Capitol Punishment, but Captain Charisma is now #1 contender again for the World Heavyweight Championship that Randy Orton is carrying. But on Raw, it was announced that Orton would go one on one with the seemingly unstoppable force known as Mark Henry. Henry has said that it is now his time to be world champion, and by a win on Orton this Friday, it would put him on the right path. But who will come out on top?? The former World's Strongest Man, or the World Heavyweight Champion, The Viper??

-One of the most exciting matches of the year, The Money in the Back match, take place is just a few weeks. The competitors for Raw were announced this past Monday, but who will compete for Smackdown?? Who will finally get the briefcase and the chance of a lifetime?? Find out on Friday Night Smackdown.

-Jinder Mahal, using his unique relationship with Khali to his advantage, has been tearing through the Smackdown roster, but he has never faced an opponent like his opponent for this week's Smackdown. He will be facing the young, new, exciting, unpredictable, undefeated, SIN CARA!!! Who will prevail when these 2 undefeated superstars come head to head?? Will The Great Khali be a factor in this match, or will Sin Cara and his unbelievable high flying moves prevail??

-Wade Barrett, looking to overcome his losing streak as of late, will face the submission specialist Daniel Bryan this Friday. We have gotten word that both of these men will compete in the Money in the Bank match for Smackdown, but which superstar will get the momentum heading into the match?? Will Barrett leave his losing streak behind, or will he fall victim to the excruciating Lebell Lock??

Announced Matches for July 1st edition of Friday Night Smackdown:
1. Mark Henry Vs Randy Orton
2. Wade Barrett Vs Daniel Bryan
3. Sin Cara Vs Jinder Mahal w/Khali

Smackdown will posted today and soon by MinistryDeadman 95

Monday Night Raw (June 20, 2011)
OFFICIAL PREVIEW

The Champ Is Here, Still

Last night at Capitol Punishment John Cena defied the odds to defeat R-Truth and retain his WWE Championship. However, after the match, CM Punk and The Straight Edge Society made their way out onto the stage and Punk locked eyes with Cena, the brief encounter being enough to let The WWE Universe know that Punk wants to be the next to get a shot at Cena’s title.

A King’s Speech

Raw General Manager Jerry “The King” Lawler promises to open tonight’s show with a few announcements regarding the format of Monday Night Raw as well as some news for the upcoming pay per view, Money In The Bank. “King” is also set to make some sort of ruling on John Cena’s next contender for his WWE Championship, and it very well could be CM Punk, then man mentioned earlier.

A Butterfly’s Broken Wings

Last night at Capitol Punishment, Kharma defeated Kelly Kelly for the Divas Championship, but following her victory, she stepped on her title and discarded it like a piece of trash. Due to this there promises to be a major shake-up with the divas division on Raw but we’ll have to wait and see what will be said.

Del Rio’s Destiny

Last night Alberto Del Rio took on Jack Swagger in a grudge that ended when Skip Sheffield interfered on Del Rio’s behalf and would have completely taken Jack Swagger out if not for the help of his newfound ally John Morrison. Tonight, Del Rio, who will no doubt be joined by his ring announcer Ricardo Rodriguez, will talk to the crowd and he will no doubt be getting a hostile reception.

Banking On It

In some announced matches for tonight’s Raw, qualifying matches for Raw’s Money In The Bank Ladder Match are getting underway. R-Truth will take on Chris Masters, Drew McIntyre will take on Dolph Ziggler and Tyler Reks will take on the man who lost his United States Championship last night in Kofi Kingston. Three men will walk out of the arena tonight, one step closer to being the next Mr. Money In The Bank.

All this and more, tonight, on Monday Night Raw!

Show is now posted and feedback as usual is always appreciated!

Sorry for my lack of activity. I’ve started to write a bit more of SmackDown, which is good, so hopefully it’ll flow better from here on out; wish me luck. Raw is done, for the record, but I’d like to get a good portion of SD done before I post it. Maybe at some point I can give out some feedback, perish the thought.

It’s a small preview, but trust me, the show is MUCH bigger.

Monday Night Raw
Sommet Center, Nashville, Tennessee | 11th April 2011
Monday Night Raw arrives in Nashville, Tennessee this week, following the stunning announcement last week of Jerry “The King” Lawler becoming the NEW General Manager. Tonight, in the home state of our new GM, the Hall of Famer will open the show to outline his plans for the WWE’s ‘flagship show’, and he’s sure to receive a big reception. After Lawler embarrassed Michael Cole last week amid the rivalry the pairing have sported the last few months, will “King” exert his new-found authority to give Cole his marching orders? What will he have in store for the superstars of Monday nights? And what will he do to mark his first night in charge?

John Cena teamed with Randy Orton last week to beat The Miz and Alex Riley in the main event; this win granted Cena one more shot at the WWE Title at Extreme Rules, much to the dismay of The Miz as the current champion, especially as he was never pinned. Considering The Miz’s controversial win at Wrestlemania over Cena, the Awesome One is well aware that the former “Champ” desperately wants to make amends, and we’re sure to hear from both men over the course of the show tonight, with Extreme Rules on the horizon.

Speaking of Randy Orton, the Viper might have placed himself back in WWE Title contention by winning alongside Cena last week, but despite this, he was assaulted after the bell by CM Punk. The Straight-edge Saviour feels that his business with Orton still isn’t finished despite losing to the Viper at Wrestlemania, and it seems he’s drifted into the dark regions of his psyche as a result, including calling Mark Henry “Randall” repeatedly in his match last week. Will we see more of Punk’s psychotic side (clearly a result of his desperation to defeat the equally-psychotic Orton) evolve tonight, or will Orton find him first, to pay him back for the damage that was done last week?

Last week saw Daniel Bryan and Evan Bourne beat Dolph Ziggler and William Regal – Ziggler was unable to tag the Englishman out because he was dealing with a catfight between Vickie Guerrero and Gail Kim, allowing Bryan to drop Regal to the deck and apply the LeBell Lock to win it. Ziggler explicitly stated in a WWE.com-exclusive interview this week that his WWE Title aspirations on Raw have NOT been dented by his loss, as he wasn’t involved in the fall, and this week, when he faces Evan Bourne in singles competition, Ziggler will want to get himself back on track with a stroke in the ‘W’ column. Will fellow WWE Title hopeful Daniel Bryan be watching this match, and will we see another Bryan/Gail-Ziggler/Guerrero confrontation?

After Johnny Curtis and R-Truth won their first ever tag team match together on Superstars, they were assaulted by DZP; Zack Ryder and Primo Colon. DZP had earlier declared that they were more deserving of Truth and Curtis’ guaranteed WWE Tag Team Title shot, and they followed up on that declaration by leaving the pairing on the mat at the end of the show. Tonight, Curtis steps into the Raw ring for the very first time, taking on Primo in singles competition – this match could set the tone for future WWE Tag Team Title shots, featuring two men very much in the hunt for those belts with their respective partners. Can Curtis keep his mini winning streak going at the beginning of his WWE career, or will Primo teach him a lesson about the unpredictability of the WWE? Tune in tonight to see if Curtis’ Raw debut is a successful one!

Also tonight, the United States Champion, Sheamus, will be in action, plus you can expect to see appearances from Santino Marella, Melina, Mark Henry, John Morrison, Ted DiBiase, Tyler Black and many more!

Announced For Raw

New Raw GM Jerry “The King” Lawler to open the show

WWE SmackDown! | July 4th 2002 | Boston Massachusetts

Smackdown this week is aired from the Fleet Center in Boston Massachusetts as the WWE celebrates the 4th of July episode of Smackdown. Who better then to kick off the show then the reigning United States Champion, Olympic Gold Medalist and number 1 contender for the Undisputed title for Vengeance; Kurt Angle. Angle has requested some air-time and will kick off the show, possibly talking about his interactions with the Undertaker on Raw and him leaving the Undertaker tapping out to the Ankle Lock on the outside of the ring up the entrance ramp. There is no word as to if the Undertaker is in the arena here tonight but if the American Badass shows up, things are bound to get physical. And where will Paul Heyman and Brock Lesnar be in all of this triangle story? Brock who is the King of the Ring winner has made his presence felt in the Undertaker's business the past fortnight making it clear that he wants him at Summerslam for the title.

Last week Eddie Guerrero was revealed to be part of the trade by Raw's General Manager, Shawn Michaels as the newest member of the Smackdown roster. The former Intercontinental Champion showed up during Rey Mysterio and his nephew, Chavo Guerrero's match, costing Rey the victory and celebrating soon after with Chavo. Later on in the show however, Rey would be seen laid out in the hallway as he was jumped from behind and attacked. Eddie and Chavo came running to the scene and aided, calling officials and personal to come and help however, the attacker is still unknown. Eddie and Chavo are here tonight and have promised to try and reveal the identity of who attacked Rey Mysterio and find the person. Who can it be? And what does this hold for either of them in the future as we head into Vengeance?

John "the Prototype" Cena would badmouth Chris Jericho last week, Jericho who is still out via injury after the career shortening Hell in a Cell match with Triple H back at Judgment Day two months ago, has yet to make his return to Smackdown however, when a video package hyping up his inevitable comeback for the Summer aired, Cena would take this oppertunity to explain how he is better then Jericho at everything and gain heat. Will Cena continue his verbal assault on Jericho or will Jericho have something to say about it? Will Jericho appear this week on the 4th of July episode of Smackdown or is something else in store for the 'Prototype'.

Last week rookie Randy Orton gained a surprise shocker of a victory over Lance Storm. Will Randy Orton's luck continue or will things pan out differently for the third generation superstar in their rematch this week?

Last week we saw the debut of Devon Dudley's new persona, calling himself Reverend Devon and siding himself with one big individual, Brother Batista. Devon will be in action here tonight as well as appearances from Edge, the Hurricane, Christian, the Tag Team Champions Rikishi and Scotty 2 Hotty as well as many more.

Monday Night Raw Preview
Monday 13th October 2008
Live from the University of Dayton Arena
Dayton, Ohio

The Survivor Series is drawing closer and is beginning to take shape with no fewer than three further matches being announced last week and the possibility of more this coming week.

In addition to the WWE Championship between Batista, Randy Orton & Triple H and the elimination match composing teams led by John Cena and the World Heavyweight Champion, CM Punk, we learned that The Big Show will meet John ‘Bradshaw’ Layfield in a Hell in a Cell match that will see the loser leave the WWE. Also Ted DiBiase discovered that he will be taking on The Undertaker from Eric Bischoff while Shawn Michaels accepted The Miz’s challenge to an elimination match Friday night on Smackdown.

Fresh off challenging JBL to the career ending match last Monday night, The Big Show will be in action this week when he teams up with his rookie, Justin Gabriel to take on another mentor/rookie combination in the shape of Randy Orton & Darren Young. The World’s Largest Athlete showed no remorse for injuring Shane McMahon, provoking an understandably furious response from the remaining Corporation members, and tomorrow night he & Gabriel will face a tough challenge against Orton & Young. The Viper surprised many last week by finding a way to co-exist with Batista on their way to a victory, and he’ll be looking to go back-to-back with another win in Dayton as he prepares for his WWE Championship match next month. Only one mentor/rookie combination will be able to emerge victorious. Make sure you tune in to Raw tomorrow night to find out which duo that will be!

We were all surprised by Orton last week, however no one was more surprised than Batista. The Animal made it clear to The Viper he doesn’t trust him, but will he feel differently now after their victory last week? If so and they do manage to co-exist, what does that mean for their former Evolution team-mate, Triple H? It looks like the odds may be shifting against The Game and you have to know he won’t like that one bit.

It was a tough week for Triple H as he went toe to toe with The Undertaker on his Raw return and he threw the towel in by getting himself disqualified thanks to a low blow. He then went after his trusty sledgehammer to give the phenom his own personal welcome to Raw only The Undertaker had other ideas. That was until Ted DiBiase & Ezekiel Jackson stormed the ring to take down The Dead-Man, and DiBiase ended the mugging with a shot to the skull of his Survivor Series opponent with The Game’s sledgehammer. It was a strong message of intent from the confident third generation superstar, but surely he has to realise that The Undertaker will be coming back for retribution, and soon! Just how long will he wait before going after him?

The Miz was out to prove he didn’t turn his back on a fight with Shawn Michaels at No Mercy last week, so much so that he’s found himself in the position of leading a team against one put together by The Heartbreak Kid at the Survivor Series. He went about his mission in the typical Miz way by jumping Michaels during his No Mercy rematch with Jack Swagger Friday night on Smackdown before challenging him without giving Michaels the chance to respond. Later on however, he did and it was emphatic. Mr. Hollywood returns to home turf on Raw tomorrow night to take on Kofi Kingston who’s going through a slump right now. Will he be able to turn it round when he meets The Miz in Dayton tomorrow? Tune in to find out!

Christopher Daniels & Kaval booked their place in the final of the World Tag Team Championship tournament last week after defeating JTG and his rookie, Homicide. They’ll find out who their opponents will be at the Survivor Series when the two teams battling to face them collide live tomorrow night. Matt Hardy & Gregory Helms will take on Rey Mysterio and his rookie, Mystico, and last week Mystico gained a confidence boosting win over Shannon Moore. They all shook hands after the bell last Monday but this week the gloves will well & truly be off when the friends go all out to join Daniels & Kaval in the final. Only one of them however will make it. Make sure you don’t miss it to see just which of them will be heading to the Survivor Series to fight it out for the gold.

It seems that the Colon brothers have been able to do what no one else has in consistently frustrate the undefeated Intercontinental Champion, Sheamus. He was hell bent on getting his hands on the brothers cool last week and yet again they managed to dodge The Celtic Warrior’s clutches after he attacked Carlito’s opponent, Orlando Jordan as he made his way to the ring for action. This week we will see Sheamus in action against Goldust, and if his mood in recent weeks is anything to go by Goldust could be in for a tough night to say the least.

For all this and more, make sure you don’t miss Raw tomorrow night live from Dayton, Ohio!

Monday Night Raw Preview – May 10th, 2004

Last week, fans described Monday Night Raw as stacked. Not to rest on its laurels, Raw is set to be even bigger this week, as all its superstars roll into San Jose, California.

The bitter rivalry between the Raw General Manager, Eric Bischoff and ‘Sheriff’ Stone Cold Steve Austin reached new heights last week. The two have been at each other’s throats for awhile, with both men being the complete opposite to each other. Bischoff’s business like persona doesn’t seem to go to well with Austin’s ‘as free as the wind’ attitude. At Backlash, Kane chokeslammed Austin, and then the next night on Raw, Austin delivered a Stone Cold Stunner to Kane. The two haven’t been in a physical altercation since then, although Bischoff, realising Kane is a threat to Austin, befriended ‘The Big Red Machine’, promising to help him with his plan that nobody knows of. Easy E didn’t stop there, also trying to recruit Scott Steiner by his side. Sensing that Bischoff is trying to build something of an army, similar to what Paul Heyman has on Smackdown, Austin convinced Steiner to stay on his lonesome. As Bischoff and Stone Cold continued to trade insults, last week things went too far when Kane came out to fight for Bischoff, and Steiner backed up Austin. The two brawled up the entrance ramp, and eventually took a tumble off of the stage, causing both men to be unable to attend Raw this week. The owner of the WWE, Vince McMahon was displeased with seeing his stars being put at risk due to arguments between Raw’s two authority figures, and McMahon has promised to attend Raw tonight with a solution.

It’s always entertaining when Vince McMahon is in attendance, but it may be even better this week, as The Rock will be delivering The Rock Concert III. Having taken a few weeks off, Rocky plans to make it up to his millions and millions of fans with an entertaining concert tonight. There’s also a slight hope that we’ll finally get an explanation as to why The Rock told Shawn Michaels to retire.

The World Heavyweight Championship scene has been covered in turmoil in the past few weeks. Chris Benoit remains as champion, but from Triple H, to Goldberg, to even Randy Orton, there’s no idea who will be named as the number one contender for Vengeance. Keep in mind, Triple H does have a rematch clause in his contract after losing the title at WrestleMania, however he’s made it clear he wants to save that for some unknown reason. With Triple H and Evolution there’s usually some sort of plan, so Hunter will be saving that title shot for a reason. We’re hoping for some issues to be cleared tonight on Raw, with the World Heavyweight Champion going one on one with Randy Orton. Just as it looked like Goldberg was in the box seat to take the World Title from Benoit last week, Triple H interfered; therefore Triple H and Goldberg will also be going at it tonight. Hopefully after tonight, we’ll have some clear results as to who should be the number one contender for Benoit’s title at Vengeance.

After putting Christian out of action in their match at Backlash, Chris Jericho has been on somewhat of a roll. Whilst Jericho initially believed his issues with Christian were solved, ‘Captain Charisma’ has made it clear that’s not the case. Nobody, not even Jericho, had any idea when something would go down to indicate Christian is still angry, and it all came to tuition last week, when Jericho was attacked by Tomko after his match. Having already wrestled and lost to Tomko before Backlash, this one is very personal, as Tomko and Jericho have been booked to go at it in a Hardcore match.

The WWE Intercontinental Champion has been on a roll pretty much since WrestleMania. Even though he defeated Matt Hardy at Backlash, Hardy still seems pretty confident that he’ll take the IC Title from Maven sometime. Tonight though, Maven has a different challenger to take on, as he will go one on one with the hungry ‘Evolution Enforcer’, Batista.

And with the World Tag Team Champions Booker T and Rob Van Dam still proving to be a class above the rest, the two tandems of Rodney Mack and Mark Henry and Al Snow and Tommy Dreamer will compete, trying to shorten the gap between themselves and the champions.

All this, and much, MUCH more on another STACKED edition of Monday Night Raw!

Confirmed Matches
Chris Benoit vs. Randy Orton

Bill Goldberg vs. Triple H

-HARDCORE MATCH-

Chris Jericho vs. Tyson Tomko

Dave Batista w/Ric Flair vs. Maven

Al Snow and Tommy Dreamer vs. Mark Henry and Rodney Mack

Lose some and Gain some

It is now time to see the fallout from WrestleMania on WWE SmackDown. The Smackdown brand took a major hit at WrestleMania when the Worlds Greatest Tag Team won the world tag team titles to move to Raw. If that wasn’t enough, Ron Simmons was defeated by his former partner Bradshaw in a loser leaves WWE match. The biggest shocker was Brock Lesnar quitting the WWE following WrestleMania. Paul Heyman believes that if they lost some then they certainly gained better.

At WrestleMania, Edge and The Undertaker finally made their long awaited returns and you will see them back on Smackdown tonight. What can we expect from The Undertaker tonight? What will Edge have to say after being out of action for over a year?

RVD and Booker T are the newest members of the Smackdown roster as they captured the tag titles at WrestleMania. Tonight they will defend the titles against the former champions 2 Cool.

Latino Heat
WWE Champion Eddie Guerrero successfully retained the WWE Title against Kurt Angle at WrestleMania. Kurt Angle believes that he should have won the belt at WrestleMania and Eddie Guerrero shouldn't be champion. What will Kurt Angle do tonight. Will Latino Heat give Angle a rematch?

Champion vs Champion
Also, for the first time after the WrestleMania extravaganza as we present all of the fallout from WrestleMania XX, the new United States Champion John Cena will meet the new Cruiserweight Champion Tajiri in action tonight in a non title match.

Embarrasment
Last week the superstars of Smackdown let Stone Cold Steve Austin attack Paul Heyman. Has Paul Heyman lost control of Smackdown? Will Heyman show up tonight?

Find out all this week on Smackdown!

Smackdown! Preview

'Ready, Set, Go!'

Triple in Paradise
Triple H may have retained the WWE Championship at Wrestlemania, but as revealed on Raw this Monday night, Randy Orton, the man he beat just 5 days ago has been granted a rematch against 'The Game' at the upcoming Backlash event. But on Smackdown, Triple H is going on one on with a man he has a very specific history with, 'The Gold Standard' Shelton Benjamin. Randy Orton is rumoured to be in attendance in Iowa City, and he is scheduled to be on commentary for the WWE Champion's match.

Over the Edge
Edge has requested some time to give reason for his actions this past Monday on Raw, where he sneak attacked the World Heavyweight Champion, John Cena, in the locker room.

The Return
As announced earlier, Mr Kennedy is back from injury, and he is making his return to WWE programming on Smackdown this Friday, where he will be taking on R-Truth, in what is sure to be an fast paced, exciting match. Kennedy will be looking to build momentum to a possible title challenge in the future.

No Reward for Quitters
Matt Hardy defeated his brother Jeff at Wrestlemania, and Jeff quit the whole of the WWE as a result. Matt will now be as cocky and confident as ever, knowing that he is the only and top Hardy left in the WWE. As a result of his great victory, Smackdown General Manager Theodore Long has granted Matt a shot at the United States Championship this Friday, and the champion MVP will welcome the fight with no problem.

Smackdown Goes Extreme!
Much like Raw, Smackdown has also received some talent from the fallen ECW brand. One of these wrestlers is the current ECW Champion, Jack Swagger, and the 'All American American' has brought the championship along to the blue brand with him. In his first Smackdown match, he will be facing the man who lives and breathes ECW, the 'Innovator of Violence', Tommy Dreamer.
