The BTB Advertisement Thread

The last thread was beginning to clutter and had lost some semblance to actual advertisements. This is a revised version of the BTB Advertisement thread.

Basically, this is the BTB Advertisement thread. Pretty self-explanatory, right? Wrong, here are the rules. Be warned - lack of adherence to the rules will result in a warning. If you keep it up, you will be given an infraction.

The BTB Advertisement thread allows you to post previews of your upcoming shows and PPVs and generate hype for an upcoming thread. In order to give prospective readers an incentive to view your thread, you can even post small samples of the advertised work in question, though these will be relegated to one paragraph.

If you wish, you can provide links to your threads following your advertisements.

Since the last thread was abused to some extent, I'm laying down some additional rules in order to keep this thread tidy.

1) ONE advert per every three days. We will check this thread every day to see if anyone is abusing the system and spamming the thread.
2) NO news, notes, or anything of that sort pertaining to your thread are allowed. We were lenient before in the last thread, but such posts belong in your thread. The BTB Advertisement thread is not your personal network - it is shared, and thus, only actual advertisements for shows are allowed.

Last, but not least; do NOT beg for reviews when you advertise. In jest, you can market your thread and mention reviews, but there is to be no fishing for 'em. It just reeks of desperation.

Thank you.

2013 Royal Rumble Preview
27 January 2013

Every year, The Royal Rumble is where the Road to Wrestlemania begins. And this year, it will be no different, as 30 of the WWE’s finest stars compete in the gruelling royal Rumble match, with the prize being a place in the Wrestlemania main event! But the Royal Rumble match is not the only important event this Sunday. Both World champions will put their gold on the line at the Royal Rumble. Newly crowned champion, Alberto Del Rio attempts to defend his World Title against The big Show in a knockout match. And CM Punk puts his WWE title on the line against the champion of the people, The Rock.

Matches:

WWE Tag Team Titles no1 Contenders Match: The Usos vs Team Rhodes Scholars

Team Rhodes Scholars have spent the past few months chasing after Team Hell No!’s tag team titles. At The Royal Rumble they have a chance to earn one more shot at the gold. Stading in their way however, is the dynamic duo of The Usos.

The Samoan brothers are the twin sons of Rikishi, and have spent the last few years struggling to break out in the WWE. However, they’ve been given a golden opportunity to do just that at the Royal Rumble.

Will The Usos finally get their breakthrough, and earn a shot at the Tag team titles, or will Team Rhodes Scholars get a chance to finally overcome their rivals, Team Hell No!?

WWE Divas Title Match: Eve vs Kaitlyn

After months of cheating to keep the title, Eve is backed into a corner, and Kaitlyn has a chance to finally take what Eve has kept from her for months. Kaitlyn has pinned Eve twice in as many weeks, and if Eve gets disqualified or counted out, Kaitlyn will win the title.
Will Eve find a way to keep clinging on to the Divas championship? Or will Kaitlyn get what she has been seeking her entire career?

World Heavyweight Championship Knockout match: Big Show vs Alberto Del Rio

Two weeks ago, Alberto Del Rio shocked the world on Smackdown, when he defeated Big Show to win the world title in a last man standing match. But can he repeat the feat in a knockout match? The Knockout match is Big Show’s speciality, and a match he has never lost. As The world’s Largest Athlete Pointed out on Smackdown, it’s hard enough to knock someone out, when they’re Big Show’s size, let alone when you could be hit by a knockout blow from a 16 inch fist at any time. However, last Friday Night, Alberto Del Rio laid the Giant out with a stepup ezeguri, proving that he is most definitely in this match.
Will Alberto Del Rio be able to withstand the assault from The Big Show? Or will the power of The world’s Largest Athlete be too much for Del Rio?

WWE Championship: CM Punk vs The Rock

CM Punk reign with the WWE title has lasted nearly four-hundred-and-fifty days. He has fought off challenger after challenger, and constantly defied the odds to keep his title. But this Sunday, he faces a man who he has never faced before. A man who will go down in wrestling history as one of the very best ever in the business... he faces The Rock. The most electrifying man in all of entertainment has sworn to end M Punk reign of terror at the Rumble. On Monday CM Punk claimed that The Rock was no more than Vince McMahon’s pet, and that The People’s Champion stood for everything he despised. Something definitely has to give when these two titans of professional wrestling meet in the ring for the first time ever.

Will Punk overcome even more opposition to his reign? Or will The Rock on his return to the WWE take the title for the first time in over a decade.

The 2013 Royal Rumble Match

This one needs little explanation. 30 men. 90 seconds between each entry. One place in the main event of Wrestlemania up for grabs.

If you’re interested by this, feel free to pop by the WWE 2013 thread to see if it’s up. If you’re waiting, why not leave a prediction.

EDIT: The Show is up!

Friday Night Smackdown Preview
30th September 2011
Bryce Jordan Center – University Park, Pennsylvania

Just two days ahead of the ground-breaking Hell in a Cell Pay-Per-View where the Smackdown brand is going to be represented very well, the blue brand rolls into the Bryce Jordan Center for what looks like an explosive show!

Mark Henry has been World Heavyweight Champion for 12 days now after triumphing over five of Smackdown's best at Night of Champions and successfully defending the title against the former champion Randy Orton last week, but in just two days he faces the toughest challenge in this title reign, and possibly his whole career... he is going to step inside Hell in a Cell to defend the World Heavyweight Championship against 'The Celtic Warrior' Sheamus. Sheamus earned his shot last week after coming out victorious in a #1 Contender's Triple Threat Match against Wade Barrett and John Morrison to book his date with Henry in New Orleans. These two have been embroiled in a feud for two months - these two have gone through announce tables, ring barricades and THE STAGE at Night of Champions - and it is a huge question whether Hell in a Cell will be able to contain these two behemoths on Sunday. But tonight, what has been billed as their 'Final Confrontation' ahead of this life-changing match, is going to take place. It is going to be one final chance for both of these men to say whatever it is they have to say to the other. It may be down as just a talking segment, but knowing the history between Henry and Sheamus, talking most likely won't be the only thing on the menu.

Another man who secured himself a championship match at Hell in a Cell was the irreplaceable William Regal, who defeated Cody Rhodes in a Non-Title Match up last week to earn himself a shot at Rhodes' Intercontinental Championship in New Orleans... but it didn't go down as smoothly as that. Sin Cara, the man that Rhodes screwed out of the title at Night of Champions ran down to the ring in a critical point of the match where Cody Rhodes and Ted DiBiase were planning to use the very same method they used on Cara, on Regal this time. Sin Cara's presence caused everyone to get distracted, and once Rhodes had his protective mask off and ready to strike Regal, he turned to admonish Sin Cara... and then turn around into a brass knuckles shot from Regal... which knocked Rhodes out cold, and Regal booked himself a date with 'The Disfigured One' at Hell in a Cell. Understandably, Rhodes isn't best pleased with this turn of events and has requested to open the show to voice his grievances to Smackdown General Manager Teddy Long.

Long was in fact busy over the weekend where he announced that long-time rivals Randy Orton and Wade Barrett were going to face off against each other again at Hell in a Cell, following Orton coming out and executing a sublime RKO to the Englishman following his failed #1 Contender's Match. Some, including Barrett, will call the attack unjustified, but many will believe that there was some reason behind 'The Viper' striking on Barrett following Barrett's comments after Orton failed to defeat Henry for the Title - most notably, referring to Orton repeatedly as 'The Worm'. In a wwe.com exclusive video posted after Raw this past Monday, Barrett appeared to have liberated a camera from WWE staff and he set out a challenge to 'The Worm' tonight. We can only assume that Barrett was referring to Orton, and he wants some of his Hell in a Cell opponent two nights early... if so, that leaves the question; is Orton ready to mix it up in Pennsylvania?

Last week, Daniel Bryan was attacked backstage by Christian and subsequently ruled out of the #1 Contender's Match (and tonight's show) and replaced by John Morrison, much to the chagrin of Captain Charisma. It is reported that Christian has been on the lookout for 'The Prince of Parkour' all day now in the arena, but given Morrison's skills in the stylings of parkour... he could be anywhere. Will Christian find his man?

Also tonight, Fighting for Freedom look to make an impact in their first match on Smackdown against Percy Watson & Titus O'Neill, and Justin Gabriel has the chance to add another win to his resumé... but he will have to knock off the devious Jinder Mahal in order to do so!

Confirmed for Smackdown:

-The Final Confrontation-
Mark Henry - Sheamus

Wade Barrett vs 'The Worm'(?)

Intercontinental Champion Cody Rhodes to open the show!

Justin Gabriel vs Jinder Mahal

Fighting for Freedom vs Percy Watson & Titus O'Neill

Plus; Christian, William Regal and a very distressed Teddy Long! All on Smackdown!

WWE Raw Preview- 28/01/13

Just 24 hours after a massive Royal Rumble Pay per View, the superstars of the WWE will be back in action on Monday night Raw.

Wade Barrett shocked the world last night when he last eliminated The Rock to win the Royal Rumble and claim a place in the Main Event of Wrestlemania. The English superstar has promised to announce who he will face... tonight!

John Cena seemingly had The Royal Rumble won last night, when a masked man came out of the crowd and assaulted him with a lead pipe, costing him the match. Cena will be on Raw and will speak about this tonight!

In celebration of his successful title defence (albeit with some assistance) against The Rock last night, CM Punk has promised to make a victory speech to the WWE Universe.

Rey Mysterio made a surprise return as an entrant in last night’s Royal Rumble match. The Masked Warrior will be making his return to Raw tonight!

The Usos managed something of an upset victory over Team Rhodes Scholars last night, to become no1 contenders for the WWE Tag Team Titles. The Samoan Twins get their shot at the gold tonight, and they face the very team that helped them win this Sunday... Team Hell No!

The Miz assaulted Kofi Kingston after the Intercontinental Champion eliminated The Awesome One from the Rumble this Sunday. After that incident, The Miz and Kofi will come face to face tonight.

Kaitlyn finally realised her dream last night, and beat Eve to win the Divas Championship. But tonight, Eve gets her rematch for the gold.

And as if all that weren’t enough, The NEW World Heavyweight Champion, Dolph Ziggler will be on Raw this Monday!

Confirmed Matches:

Team Hell No vs The Usos for the WWE Tag Team Titles
Kaitlyn vs Eve for the Divas Championship
Ryback vs Titus O’Neil

Fresh off the back of an amazing Survivor Series, Raw comes live for the first time under new General Manager Jerry "The King" Lawler. Lawler was named permanent GM last night by Chairman Of The Board Mr. McMahon, and The King has told WWE.com there will be a major announcement regarding the WWE Championship tonight.

Lawler promised CM Punk a celebration if he was able to make it to one year as Champion, and Raw will open with Punk's Party after he was able to win a last man standing match against Ryback last night. Ryback looked set to have the match won before Kane, now seemingly under the control of AJ, interfered.

Ryback isn't the only one wanting answers from AJ and Kane; Daniel Bryan once again was betrayed by his former fiancee and tag team partner at Survivor Series.

Dolph Ziggler was moments away from cashing in his Money In The Bank contract on Big Show at Survivor Series before Sheamus, who was angry at not regaining his title, hit him with a Brogue Kick. Ziggler and Sheamus go one-on-one this week on Main Event, but will tensions rise before then?

There will also be fall-out from the traditional Survivor Series Tag match, where Zack Ryder managed to pin the United States Champion Antonio Cesaro before Wade Barrett pinned Ryder to get the win for his team.

Tag Team Champions Rhodes Scholars will be in action 24 hours after a controversial win over Rey Mysterio and Sin Cara. What is next for the tag division?

And what is next for John Cena after winning his first PPV match since coming back from injury?

As we head into TLC, there will be twists and turns as the Road To WrestleMania 29 begins...

Confirmed matches:

Rhodes Scholars vs The Usos
Antonio Cesaro vs Santino
Sheamus & Kofi Kingston vs Wade Barrett & Big Show

RAW is WAR Preview

Less than twenty-four hours removed from last nights Judgment Day event, speculation had been buzzing in regards to the health of The Undertaker following the match against Stone Cold Steve Austin and after further examination by top World Wrestling Federation officials and medical personnel it has now been discovered and confirmed that The Undertaker suffered a severe concussion following the sledgehammer shot from Triple H at the conclusion of the match and this is expected to keep the WWF superstar sidelined until at least the King of the Ring Pay-Per-View, if not later. Stone Cold Steve Austin has be allocated the opening slot for tonight's RAW is WAR to address the events of Judgment Day and also to address what lays ahead for him and the WWF Championship.

However, Austin may have his hands filled as quick as they became empty as new number one contenders to the WWF Tag Team Championships were determined last night at Judgment Day with Chris Jericho and a surprising partner, Chris Benoit able to defeat several other teams in tag team turmoil. Will Jericho & Benoit be announcing when their match with the WWF Tag Team Champions be made on RAW is WAR tonight?

The Intercontinental Champion, Kane is slated to defend his newly won gold less than twenty-four hours after capturing it for the first time in his gruelling chain match with Triple H but, shockingly Kane is not defending the championship against Triple H, instead the WWF Commissioner has ruled that Test will be the one to face The Big Red Machine for the prestigious gold. With the Big Red Machine beat up badly, can he possibly fight off the man who is almost equal in size to him and successfully retain the Intercontinental Championship or will Kane repeat history and have his name put in the books as one of the shortest reigns in history?

The WWF owner, Vince McMahon will also be in attendance tonight for RAW is WAR - it has been announced that Mr. McMahon has an announcement to make regarding the upcoming King of the Ring tournament and said tournament is expected to be kicked off as early as tonights RAW is WAR with many WWF Superstars scrambling to earn the prestigious trophy.

Also, Olympic Gold Medallist, Kurt Angle will be in attendance tonight and will most certainly have something to say regarding his victory over Chris Benoit at last nights Judgment Day and there will be hardcore action when Rhyno defends his WWF Hardcore Championship against The Big Show.

WWE Monday Night Raw Preview- 04 February 2013
Episode #1028

Thread: WWE 2013

Just thirteen nights away from what is shaping up to be a massive WWE Elimination Chamber Pay Per View, we have an episode of Monday Night Raw which could change the landscape of the WWE .

In a shocking announcement last Monday, The Rock told the WWE Universe he is the new General Manager of Raw. And his first act as GM was to force CM Punk to defend his WWE Title, against Ryback, inside a steel cage... tonight!

Can the Champ find a way to keep his record breaking title run going? Or will Big Hungry finally take what has been stolen from him time and time again.

At the Royal Rumble Triple H made a shocking return to attack Brock Lesnar, which resulted in a Pedigree onto the Stage. Tonight, The Game makes his return to Raw, to address both Brock Lesnar, and the WWE Universe. What will the game have to say? And how will The Perfect Storm react?

After stunning the world last Monday when he announced his desires to face The Undertaker at Wrestlemania, The Royal Rumble winner Wade Barrett has more words for the WWE Universe, tonight.

Two of the hopefuls for the chamber match in two weeks time, John Cena and Rey Mysterio, will square off on Monday Night Raw. Which one of these fan favourites will get a huge momentum boost heading into Elimination Chamber?

After being on the receiving end of a vicious attack from Elimination Chamber opponent Dolph Ziggler this past Friday Night, former World Champion Alberto Del Rio will be in action, when he faces The Miz. Miz, having turned his attack on the fans by assaulting Kofi Kingston last week, will be looking to boost his momentum as he competes in the WWE Title Elimination Chamber Match.

The new Tag Team Champions will be in action this Monday, as they face the team of Primo & Epico. Will the Tag Champs continue their run of stellar form? Or will Rosa Mendes’ boys be able to grab a win and catapult themselves into the Tag Title picture?

Having lost the Tag Team Titles to the Usos this past Monday, and failing to regain them in a rematch this past Friday, will Team Hell No be able to regain some momentum as they look to earn a World title Match at Wrestlemania, by winning the Elimination Chamber. The Dysfunctional Duo face The Primetime Players on Raw.

Plus: The new Divas Champion Kaitlyn looks to continue her hot streak of form, when she faces Layla tonight!

Announced Matches:

Kaitlyn vs Layla
Heath Slater vs R-Truth
Team Hell No vs The Primetime Players
The Usos vs Primo & Epico
The Miz vs Alberto Del Rio
Rey Mysterio vs John Cena
Steel Cage Match for the WWE Championship: CM Punk vs Ryback

Monday Night Raw – 15 June – Tuscan, Arizona

The penultimate episode of Monday Night Raw before the WWE head to England for WWE Fully Loaded is sure to be a fiery one as we come to you from Tuscan, Arizona!

Last week, The Undertaker abducted Legacy members Cody Rhodes and Ted DiBiase. This led to a frantic search from Randy Orton, but the WWE Champion was left disappointed as he was unable to find either Rhodes or DiBiase. While his search took place, he bumped into the Raw General Manager, Jerry Lawler who booked him in a match against MVP. Orton won the match in the end but it was the aftermath which got people talking. The Undertaker appeared, ushered down two crosses from the ceiling with Cody Rhodes and Ted DiBiase on them. Randy Orton was as shocked as anyone, even some of the fans were a little shocked at seeing Ted and Cody chained to the crosses, their heads limp. This rivalry is heating up and it’s going to get hotter tonight as Randy Orton will kick of the show for the second week running, with The Undertaker on his mind.

The Intercontinental Championship and World Tag Team Titles have been the subject of a war between Rey Mysterio and his friends Cryme Tyme and their rivals The Monarchy. Tonight, we will see Rey Mysterio in action as he takes on the man who cost him the Intercontinental Title at Judgment Day, Wade Barrett. Barrett has pledged that he will defeat Mysterio and soften him up for Regal and the other members of The Monarchy at Fully Loaded. Meanwhile, Cryme Tyme will be in the building tonight, and we can be sure of some mischief when they are around.

TheMizTV came on for another episode last week when The Miz had Shawn Michaels as his very special guest. Before introducing The Heartbreak Kid, The Miz ran down his rival, saying he was the biggest waste of space on the roster, this led to a fired up Shawn Michaels, who gave Miz the verbal beat down so to speak. But that didn’t end there, after challenging The Miz to a match at Fully Loaded and after it was accepted, he knocked The Miz into next week with a huge Superkick. We know tonight that Shawn Michaels will take on Intercontinental Champion, William Regal in the main event tonight, but he will have to keep an eye out for The Miz.

Last week, CM Punk defeated Chris Masters and called out the man who attacked him the week before, Jack Swagger. Jerry Lawler announced that Punk would defend his Money in the Bank briefcase against Jack Swagger at Fully Loaded which was welcomed by both men. However, later in the show, Punk confronted Jerry Lawler and asked for a chance at Swagger next week, he was granted the chance but in a tag team match and he would allow both Punk and Swagger to pick their own partners. We can now reveal that both Punk and Swagger have told us who they have chosen, since Swagger doesn’t have many friends on Raw, he has chosen Chris Masters while Punk has chosen TJ Perkins as his partner.

The Divas Division is beginning to heat up with the feud between Melina and Beth Phoenix picking up steam while we now know Katie Lea will take on Maryse for the Women’s Championship at Fully Loaded. With the Divas division beginning to thrive, there will no doubt be some fireworks between the Divas tonight.

The fall-out from a dramatic Survivor Series continues with a stellar episode of Friday Night SmackDown. Confirmed ahead of time are two rematches from the PPV – Kane vs Daniel Bryan and The Miz vs R-Truth in non-title action. Kane and AJ are far from happy after Bryan cost Kane a shot at the WWE Championship this Monday on Raw, while Truth will be hoping to earn a second shot at Miz's Intercontinental Championship after coming up short at Survivor Series.

Also confirmed is a rematch from Main Event where Sheamus defeated Dolph Ziggler via disqualification after taking a shot to the head with Ziggler's MITB briefcase. Thing's are getting personal between the pair after Sheamus stopped Ziggler cashing in on Big Show, tonight they settle their differences in the ring.

World Heavyweight Champion Big Show is set to open the show when he goes one-on-one with Randy Orton, who is building good momentum since returning from injury as he looks to get a shot at Show's title.

Zack Ryder Tweeted today that he has a few choice words for United States Champion Antonio Cesaro on SmackDown. Ryder eliminated Cesaro from the traditional elimination tag match at Survivor Series, something Cesaro did not appreciate. He took his frustrations out on Ryder's friend Santino this Monday on Raw before Long Island Iced Z came to the rescue.

There is also fall-out from the Tag Team Championship match at Survivor Series where Rhodes Scholars retained against Rey Mysterio & Sin Cara in controversial fashion. Sandow is in singles action against Kofi Kingston.

Confirmed Matches:
Big Show vs Randy Orton in a non-title match.

Damien Sandow vs Kofi Kingston

The Miz vs R-Truth in a non-title rematch.

Dolph Ziggler vs Sheamus

Kane vs Daniel Bryan

WWE Friday Night Smackdown Preview- 9/9/05- Nashville; Tennessee

Smackdown heads to Nashville this Friday and the Tennessee faithful are in for an absolute treat as the WWE Championship will be defended as John Cena puts his gold on the line against the legendary Phenom, The Undertaker!!

The Deadman was named number one contender at the end of last week’s show following a tag team match that saw Taker team with Kurt Angle in a makeshift tandem to take on another strange pairing in John Cena and Randy Orton. Teddy Long made the stipulation clear, whoever would impress, whoever could co exist, whoever could show teamwork would be named the next in line to face John Cena. Randy Orton certainly impressed but he most definitely didn’t co exist with his partner, instead he delivered a stinging RKO to the Doctor of Thuganomics which left Cena a sitting duck for The Undertaker. However Taker wouldn’t have the last laugh as Kurt Angle tagged himself in, tossing his own partner out of his way to score the victory over the champion. Despite the victory and despite an impressive display, neither Angle nor Orton got the verdict they hoped for as The Undertaker was awarded the title shot, will the Deadman take full advantage and rise to the top of the food chain once again? Or will John Cena show his usual heart, determination and will to win, overcoming perhaps his toughest test to date? Plus, you have to wonder just what role if any Kurt Angle and Randy Orton have to play as their hunt for the WWE Title continues.

Also confirmed for this Friday night, Carlito will get another crack at United States Champion, Matt Hardy in non title action. Teddy Long has however made it clear that if Carlito can somehow defeat the red hot Hardy, he WILL earn another shot at the championship he pursues. Can the Apple Spitter finally get one over on his rival or will Hardy once again put one over on Smackdown’s ‘Coolest’ superstar?

The situation between MNM and the duo of Rob Van Dam and Rey Mysterio continues to heat up as we edge ever closer towards their No Mercy showdown. The champions have pleaded their case time and again as to why Van Dam and Mysterio shouldn’t be getting another opportunity at the gold they’ve failed to win on three separate occasions but Teddy Long has continued to deny their pleas. This week in Nashville we have learned that MNM will head to the ring and will give their thoughts on their upcoming clash with their high flying challengers. Will MNM again try to talk their way out of this clash? Will Teddy Long again bear the brunt of their frustrations? And will the challengers have anything to say in response to the arrogant A-Listers?

The Cruiserweight Champion will be in action this Friday night as Gregory Helms goes one on one with Shannon Moore. Helms and his partner Chavo Guerrero have been on the backfoot in recent weeks with Paul London and Brian Kendrick gaining momentum in their quest to earn London his title back. Will the self proclaimed ‘Hooliganz’ disrupt Helms plans once more tonight or will Helms and Chavo send a statement to the daredevil duo?

Two weeks ago John Bradshaw Layfield heinously assaulted Bobby Lashley with us all wondering exactly why. We’ve still yet to hear a response from the Wall Street Warrior but this Friday night, the self-proclaimed ‘Wrestling God’ will be in action and he has promised to give us answers. Just what will Mr.Layfield have to say on all things related to Bobby Lashley?

And finally, after weeks of hype, this Friday marks the debut of JTG and Shad Gaspard, better known as 'Cryme Tyme'. The boys from Brooklyn are known for their antics outside the ring but just what can they produce in it as they take on the dangerous duo of Jamie Noble and Kid Kash, The Pitbulls!!

All this and so much more to come on another blockbuster show this Friday night in Nashville!!

Confirmed for this week’s Smackdown:

WWE Championship:

John Cena© vs The Undertaker

Matt Hardy vs Carlito

Gregory Helms vs Shannon Moore

Plus;

We will hear from MNM

Cryme Tyme vs The Pitbulls

JBL will be in action and will reveal answers regarding Bobby Lashley

Friday Night SmackDown! Preview - April 13, 2007
Dunkin' Donuts Center; Providence, RI

Last week on SmackDown! we witnessed many events that have captivated the attention of many as countless occurrences have taken place. One week ago on SmackDown! Mr. Kennedy lost another match, seemingly in a rather large slump considering he hasn't picked up a single victory since before the Royal Rumble. We saw MVP show he still has it as he beat Jimmy Wang Yang and proved to Mysterio that he is still a contender for the title. We also saw somewhat of an embarrassment handed to Kane by CM Punk. Yet most importantly, of course, we saw a Wrestlemania Rematch between Batista and The Undertaker.

Last week Kane declared his dominance over everyone in the WWE after taking down The Great Khali at World Wrestling Entertainment's 23rd installment of WrestleMania, but his party would be rained on by a somewhat unlikely rival ... CM Punk! This week on SmackDown! CM Punk takes on King Booker in a one on one match, but will Kane take his revenge or will the match go on without a scratch?

Mr. Kennedy hasn't won a match since before the Royal Rumble - which, to say the least, is embarrassing. Kennedy is looking for all options to get a victory, but it's not looking good for the big mouthed brawler. This week on SmackDown! will Kennedy leave the building with a win, or will he fall to the feet of yet another superstar?

Montel Vontavious Porter and Rey Mysterio have both had their hands full with each other since even before WrestleMania, and with Rey winning the title at the pay per view, tension has been thicker than ever. MVP still has he rematch clause, but when will he cash it in? This week on SmackDown! MVP hosts his very own talk show, the VIP Lounge, and Rey Mysterio is his lucky guest. Will it really just be a talk show, or will fists be flying like airplanes?

Batista and The Undertaker's rivalry is - to say the least - intense, and after last weeks botched finish to their title match what will the outcome be? Batista is enraged at what happened and expects something to be done for him to get retribution. Teddy Long says that he has an announcement regarding the World Title this week. Does this mean retribution for Batista or will he be shut out completely since technically he did already get his rematch?

Find out what happens in all of these confrontations this Friday Night by tuning into The CW at 8/7c!

Confirmed for SmackDown!
Teddy Long's World Heavyweight Championship announcement
CM Punk vs. King Booker
Mr. Kennedy will be in action
MVP hosts the VIP Lounge

WWE Smackdown Preview- 08 February 2013
Episode- 703
Thread: WWE 2013

We are just nine days away from what is shaping to be a massive Elimination Chamber Pay per View on the road to Wrestlemania! And what a show we have for you tonight!

In the evening’s main event, Sheamus will form an unlikely team with Randy Orton to face the former World Champion The Big Show, and the 2013 Royal Rumble winner; Wade Barrett. While this is shaping up to be an explosive tag match, there is just one problem. No one has seen Randy Orton since he was eliminated (by Sheamus) at The Royal Rumble. Will Orton show up, and what will happen to Sheamus if he doesn’t?

In a massive Champion vs Champion bout, World Heavyweight Champion Dolph Ziggler is set to face Intercontinental Champion Kofi Kingston. These two have a lot of history between, so we are surely set for a cracker on Friday Night.

Nine days away from their elimination Chamber match for a shot at the world title at Wrestlemania, Daniel Bryan will square off with United States Champion, Antonio Cesaro. Both superstars lost last Friday, and so will be looking for a big momentum boost heading into The Elimination Chamber.

It was announced on Raw that the no1 contender for the Diva’s Championship would be determined this Friday Night. The three hopeful challengers, Natalya, Tamina and Layla, will compete in a triple threat match on Smackdown, with the winner challenging for the title at Elimination Chamber.

Nine days away from their battle for the tag team titles at Elimination Chamber, one member each of The Usos and Team Rhodes Scholars will compete in a singles match, with the winner getting a massive momentum boost heading in to their match at night of champions. This Friday, it’s Jimmy Uso taking on Cody Rhodes.

Announced Matches:

Sheamus and Randy Orton vs Wade Barret and The Big Show
Dolph Ziggler vs Kofi Kingston
Antonio Cesaro vs Daniel Bryan
Natalya vs Tamina vs Layla
Cody Rhodes vs Jimmy Uso

Raw Preview for April 4, 2005

The road to WrestleMania 21 may have concluded last night, but the road to WrestleMania 22 in Montréal begins tonight on SpikeTV!

World Heavyweight Champion Randy Orton put behind a crusade of doubters last night when he defeated his rival Triple H in his first ever WrestleMania main event. The Legend Killer did not do this all without controversy, as it appeared that there was a conspiracy in the mix and against HHH. For weeks we had seen Orton get lenient officiating and favorable calls his way and it appeared that 24 hours ago, it all came to a head. What does Randy Orton have to say following this magical night for him about his match, and his possible involvement? We won't have to wait too long as he is slated to KICK OFF THE SHOW!

Intercontinental Champion Shelton Benamin came up short in his quest to become the first man to defeat The Undertaker at WrestleMania. In doing that, however, he may have done a great deal for himself. The crowd seemed to take a great liking to the performance Benjamin put on, even in defeat, and even though he might be dealing with the insufferable Jonathan Coachman. There are no days off for the Intercontinental Champion of the last 168 days, who will be competing in the evening's main event against a former Intercontinental Champion himself: William Regal. Does Benjamin have the intestinal fortitude to put the past behind him and continue his lengthy reign as Intercontinental Champion? Or will William Regal be at the right place at the right time to pull off an upset?

Edge and Christian went up against each other in a brother-versus-brother clash on the grandest stage. In the end, the white-hot Edge was able to defeat his brother Christian, a man Edge claims is nothing more than "jealous" and "upset" that he has gotten all of the attention and the spotlight over the years. Christian tried his best to prove him wrong, but could not gather it all in, perhaps losing sight of everything and not being able to piece it all together. Whatever the reason, Edge is expected to be in the building tonight, and you can't help but wonder whether or not Christian will be right there to follow.

And finally, as we saw at WrestleMania, Trish Stratus was able to survive as WWE Women's Champion against the upstart Alexis Laree. She is expected to be in one-on-one, non-title action against an old foe of her's in Victoria this evening in Tinseltown. Are Laree's "15 minutes of fame" up, or is she going to be lurking in the shadows and continue to make an attempt at an impact in her very short career? Only time will tell.

All of this, plus, Canadian Violence squaring off with The Arab Alliance, and plenty more on Raw as the fallout from WrestleMania 21 begins!

Friday Night 'Live' Smackdown
Friday 30th January 2009 - Preview!
Live from the North Charleston Coliseum
North Charleston, South Carolina

This Friday night will see the fallout of last week's shocking conclusion to Smackdown when the World Heavyweight Champion, CM Punk hoisted Stephanie McMahon up on to his shoulders after his successful title defence against John Cena and did the unthinkable, hitting the GTS on the Executive Vice-President of the WWE. It shocked everyone, and few will defend him despite Stephanie's attempt to slap him after another heated exchange of words between them, seconds after his 'fortunate' victory over Cena, again featuring an albeit minor distraction from Raw's Homicide who helped the World Champion regain his title at the Royal Rumble five nights earlier.

We were informed earlier this week that a member of the Board of Directors will be on hand to address Punk's actions with Stephanie having suffered a broken cheekbone in addition to the shocking resignation of Tazz as General Manager. With Stephanie out of the picture for the time being, maybe he would like to change his decision but he has indeed left the company, meaning that Smackdown now has no authority figure. Will this also be addressed by the board's representative? What action will fall upon CM Punk? All we know is that it's sure to be an eventful night in North Charleston.

We learnt last week that at No Way Out in just over a week, Christian & Edge will meet in a TLC match, and this Friday night we will see the Toronto born brothers sit down to talk about that match and their problems with Matt Striker. It should make for interesting viewing as these two are never short for words!

We'll also see the conclusion of the first round of a tournament put together by Stephanie last week that'll determine who will become the number one contenders for the WWE Tag Team Championship. We heard Alberto Del Rio & Chavo Guerrero complain about the American fans last week amongst several things, and they were told by Stephanie that they'd be in action this week for the first time as a team. Will it be a first time win for them? Also in action we believe are Bobby Lashley & Charlie Haas as they all look to join The Empire as well as Paul Burchill & TJ Wilson in the last four.

One man who will also be in action is Bryan Danielson. The protégé of 'The Heartbreak Kid' and new WWE Champion, Shawn Michaels will go one-on-one with 'The All-American American' Jack Swagger in what should be a fantastic contest between two tremendous athletes with great potential.

Dolph Ziggler, the new United States Champion was quick to give his thoughts on the comments made that he didn't deserve to win the title at the Royal Rumble given what happened to Matt Sydal before that match at the hands of Ted DiBiase. Ziggler went on to win his match and we hear that he's still not satisfied with the criticism aimed at him. Will he have something more to say this week?

It promises to be an eventful night on Smackdown this week, a week before we go down under. Make sure you don't miss it as the odds are you're going to regret it!

WRESTLEMANIA XI Preview

WWF Championship Title Match | Bret Hart (c) vs Razor Ramon
Last year at WrestleMania X, history was made when Bret Hart became the WWF champion for the second time. Earlier that night Bret was defeated by his brother Owen but later on that night Bret went on to capture the WWF Title against Yokozuna. Not only did The Hitman make history but so did The Bad Guy Razor Ramon. Razor defeated Shawn Michaels in a historic ladder match to become the undisputed Intercontinental champion. Now at WrestleMania XI, both men have earned the right to be in the main event at WrestleMania. In the most eagerly anticipated WrestleMania of all time, Bret Hart will defend his WWF Title against the Royal Rumble winner Razor Ramon. For Bret Hart this will be his third straight WrestleMania event that he will be headlining, for Razor this will be the first. In the past, both men have faced each other on two occasions with Bret coming out on top. Will the Hitman prove to be the best there is the best there was and the best there ever will be? Or will Razor finally defeat Bret and achieve his dream of becoming the WWF Champion? Who will come out on top of this epic showdown at WrestleMania?

#1 Contenders Match | Diesel vs Shawn Michaels
At the Survivor Series, Shawn Michaels and Diesel had a fall out which lead to the team splitting up. Both men went their own ways and three days after Survivor Series, Diesel became the WWF Champion. With Shawn being jealous of Diesel's success and popularity, Shawn decided to cost Diesel the WWF Title at the Royal Rumble. Shawn then hired Sycho Sid as his new bodyguard. At Saturday Night's Main Event, Diesel was victorious in a tag team match with Razor Ramon against Shawn Michaels and Sid which set up a match between Diesel and Shawn at WrestleMania. Diesel has the size and strength but Michaels has the speed but most importantly he has Sycho Sid by his side. Will Diesel being at a major disadvantage, Shawn plans to steal the show at WrestleMania by defeating Diesel. What makes the match even bigger is that President Jack Tunney has just announced that the winner of this match will be the #1 contender for the WWF Title. Will Diesel get his revenge against Michaels or will Michaels be victorious at WrestleMania?

No Holds Barred | The Undertaker vs Bam Bam Bigelow
For the first time ever at WrestleMania we will see a no holds Barred match. Since the Royal Rumble, Bam Bam Bigelow has got in The Undertaker's way and now both these men will battle it out at WrestleMania and there will be no rules. No disqualificatios, no count outs, it's no holds barred. With The Undertaker being a marked man, Rowdy Roddy Piper will be the special enforcer to make sure that there isn't no outside interference. In what promises to be the most violent match in WWF history, only one man will be the survivor. Will Bam Bam finally become the man to put down The Undertaker or will The Undertaker continue to be make life hell for Ted Dibiase?

The British Bulldog vs Lex Luger
The two powerhouses of the WWF clash at WrestleMania when The British Bulldog takes on Lex Luger. Over the past few weeks both men have been trying to one up each other in a series of contests but now this feud has become personal. Lex Luger feels that a victory over The Bulldog will put him back into title contention in the near future but he also promises to humiliate The Bulldog at WrestleMania infront of The Bulldog's family. The British Bulldog has promised to get his revenge and plans on shutting Lex Luger up once and for all. Who will be declared the winner in this tremendous match up?

Title vs Career | Intercontinental Champion Owen Hart (c) vs Bob Backlund
In one of the most important matches of the night, we will see either a title changing hands or a career ending. It is title vs career as Owen Hart defends his Intercontinental title against Mr Bob Backlund who's putting his career on the line. Once good friends as both men had a hatred towards Bret Hart and Owen Hart helped Bob Backlund win the WWF Title at the Survivor Series. Three nights later Backlund lost the WWF Title to Diesel in 8 seconds. Following the Royal Rumble, Backlund decided to have a change of heart and became a fan favourite again. Bret Hart defeated Backlund on Raw and following the match Backlund shook Bret's hand. Owen was not pleased with this and starting mocking Backlund over the next few weeks. Owen thinks Backlund was not the same after losing the WWF Title and believes that Backlund's time in the WWF should be over. Backlund has won the WWF Title, tag team title but never the Intercontinental title. Backlund wants to make history by becoming the oldest Intercontinental Champion ever. Owen thinks Backlund does not represent the new WWF Generation and the stakes are so high in this match, one man will lose his title or one man will have his career being ended on the biggest stage of all. Will Owen Hart end Bob Backlund's career or will Backlund's career continue?

Plus much more action as The 123 Kid takes on Double J, Jeff Jarrett. With Jarrett having the Road Dogg in his corner, The Kid will have NFL star Lawrence Taylor to watch his back. The tag team titles will be on the line as The Smoking Gunns defend their tag team titles against the team of Yokozuna and Hakushi. We will also see the native American Tatanka taking on Hunter Hearst Helmsley. Plus Sycho Sid will take on Savio Vega. IT'S WRESTLEMANIA XI, join us this Sunday Live Exclusively on PPV for the biggest WrestleMania of all time.

Last week was supposed to be CM Punk's celebration, he kicked off Raw to commemorate one calendar year as WWE Champion. But his party was soon interrupted by the new Raw GM Jerry Lawler, who set up a fatal fourway main event to crown a new number one contender to Punk's title. The winner of that match was John Cena, setting up one final clash between the two at the final PPV of 2012 - TLC.

This week, Raw GM Jerry Lawler is set to open the show. He has promised big news regarding the Cena/Punk match. WWE's Twitter page has also hinted that tonight will see the return of Pick Your Poison, who will be involved?

There is also follow-up on Zack Ryder's quest for a United States Championship match, Rey Mysterio faces Damien Sandow to try and earn The Luchadors a Tag Title rematch against Team Rhodes Scholars, plus much more as Raw prepares for TLC and the 2013 Royal Rumble.

Smackdown! Preview for April 7, 2005

Smackdown! comes to you from San Diego, California this week, and what's more is that we have a new WWE Champion joining us!

Rob Van Dam has climbed one heck of a mountain. He has hung around the title picture every now and then, but last Sunday at WrestleMania 21, the 2005 Royal Rumble winner achieved his dream of becoming WWE Champion, dethroning John Bradshaw Layfield and his historic and lengthy title reign. Van Dam most certainly has a lot on his mind and there is no telling what the former WWE Champion has got to say either. Both are scheduled to be on the show. Whether or not they collide is unknown.

The Undertaker extended his lengthy winning streak at WrestleMania with a victory over upstart Shelton Benjamin, who was looking to make an impact and leave The Undertaker in his path. Unfortunately for the Intercontinental Champion, he could not blemish The Deadman's undefeated record, and Undertaker is now 13-0 on the grandest stage of them all. The Undertaker will be in action this week, but one has to wonder whether or not Shelton Benjamin's actions from Monday are on the mind of The Phenom.

Carlito Caribbean Cool outlasted several Smackdown! wrestlers and defeated the great Eddie Guerrero on Sunday night to capture the previously vacated United States Championship. This is Carlito's second reign as United States Champion, the first coming back in October when he debuted on Smackdown! and won the title from John Cena. Both Carlito and Eddie will be in action this week, with the U.S. Champion taking on Charlie Haas, whom he beat to get to the Tournament Final, and Guerrero going one-on-one with the mighty Luther Reigns. Will these two cross paths? Or will they forge new paths of their own? Tune in to find out!

Finally, the WWE Cruiserweight Championship has a new owner as well!! Paul London survived the Six-Pack Challenge Match at WrestleMania and won the Cruiserweight Championship for the first time in his career. His prize for winning that belt? A Cruiserweight Championship defense in his first match as champion. His opponent? None other than his rival Billy Kidman. The former Cruiserweight Champion is reportedly unhappy with this decision, according to a source with knowledge of the situation, so we might see a bit of unrest from Chavo Guerrero.

All of this and so, so much more this week on Smackdown! Check your local listings.

Confirmed for Smackdown!:
- The NEW WWE Champion Rob Van Dam, as well as the FORMER WWE Champion, John Bradshaw Layfield, in the building
- Non-Title Match: U.S. Champion Carlito Caribbean Cool vs. Charlie Haas
- Cruiserweight Championship Match: Cruiserweight Champion Paul London vs. Billy Kidman
- Eddie Guerrero vs. Luther Reigns
- The Undertaker in action
