WWE MONDAY NIGHT RAW - March 31st, 2003
Seattle, Washington - Key Arena
Preview
Monday Night RAW emanates LIVE from the Key Arena in Seattle Washington, and chaos is sure to ensure, as the fallout from WrestleMania unfolds in front of a sold-out crowd.
RAW and Eric Bischoff certainly brung their A-Game to WrestleMania, and one example of this would be the third meeting, between two of the biggest icons in the history of our business: The Rock, and 'Stone Cold' Steve Austin. The Rock 'guaran-damn-teed' victory in his third meeting with Austin on the Grandest Stage of 'em All - and he lived up to his promise. Rock is scheduled to open up tonight's broadcast, and one has to wonder where he goes from here? And with 'The Texas Rattlesnake' scheduled to be in the building, will we see these two arch rivals come face-to-face, one more time?
Also at WrestleMania, 'The Cerebral Assassin'; 'The Game', Triple H, successfully defended the World Heavyweight Championship, against a hungry challenger, in Booker T. Booker threw every single last drop of blood sweat and tears at the Champion, but the experience and the numbers game proved too overwhelming for the challenger. Both men WILL be in The Key Arena for RAW, so one would think that these two are more than likely to butt heads. Is this the end between these two great warriors, or is this just the beginning?
In what was a serious contender for Match of the Night, 'Mr. WrestleMania' himself, Shawn Michaels, was able to barely see off the challenge of 'Y2J' Chris Jericho. It seemed as if this match was never-ending, before a quick roll-up from the nifty Michaels got the 1-2-3. However, Jericho would get the last word, as after offering what appeared to be a sincere handshake, and after embracing with his once idol - Jericho would deliver a low blow to 'The Showstopper' leaving him helpless in the middle of the ring. 'The Ayatollah of Rock N' Rollah' is scheduled to face off against the inexperienced Maven, in what should be a fascinating battle. Will Jericho be back to winning ways, or will Maven pull off a major upset? And, will Shawn Michaels have any say in the outcome?
Also on RAW;
Kane and RVD look for a measure of revenge, as they take on the men who cost them the World Tag Team Championships: The Dudley Boyz; The NEW Women's Champion, Trish Stratus battles former Champion Victoria; And after being left off the biggest show of the year, Scott Steiner is able to take out his frustrations on the young, and up-coming Chris Nowinski.
---
Confirmed for RAW:
One-On-One
Chris Jericho versus Maven
Tag Team Match
Kane and RVD versus The Dudley Boyz
Non-Title Match The New WWE Women's Champion Trish Stratus versus Victoria
One-On-One
Scott Steiner versus Chris Nowinski
---
Plus:
The Rock will open up the broadcast!
'Stone Cold' Steve Austin is in the building!
Both Triple H, and Booker T will be in The Key Arena!

All this, and SO MUCH MORE, live on Monday Night RAW; 8/7CT, on the NEW TNN Network!!

The Hammerstein Ballroom – Manhattan, New York City, New York “Unprettying”
Last week on Oblivion, we followed the tale of Robert Szatowski trying to drink his regrets and sorrows away. Throughout the entire broadcast, the guise that Finlay put on as a happy, peace-seeking Irishman faded as quickly as he put it on, showing his true motives. After Finlay was more than satisfied in watching Szatowski break himself with round after round after round, Szatowski’s troubles came full circle to hit him…and then he hit Finlay with a bottle!! Finally, the rage that has been locked inside Robert Szatowski for months seems to be awaking and perhaps he may even find himself. But for now, he will take on the man who destroyed his life in AOW’s first ever Bar Room Brawl.
Also last week, we finally got a little bit of an explanation from Paul Heyman regarding he and Shawn Michaels’ alliance…but we never heard from Shawn Michaels himself. Heyman has promised to give Michaels airtime this week to do so, but to go with that, one of the men Michaels keeps kicking in the face is Christian Cage. Christian is hot on Michaels’ tail for what he’s doing, but this week, he’ll have to sit back and settle his own problems as he helps his friend Samoa Joe take out the trash that trashed him when the two take on the Jericho-controlled team of American Made.
The man the entire wrestling world has been buzzing about for weeks is none other than AOW’s newest roster member, “The Boondock Saint” Antonio Banks. The racially fueled “Saint” has only appeared once after his surprise defection, but word through the grapevine has been saying that Banks will be in New York in person. There’s only one man who actually wants to see him, though, and that man is Dynasty Champion CM Punk. With Punk vowing to not actually address Banks until he could look him in the eye, it’s now Punk’s turn to do what he does best and that’s verbally run a man down. Punk confronts The Boondock Saint, possibly to his face.
The AOW Trios Tournament is in its final legs, and it’s produced some matches of beauty thus far – from the twenty minute contest to open the Tourney to the shocking defeat of Ken Doane by Aero Star to the brutal beatdown from the Samoan Fight Club, teams are pulling out all the stops to get the crown and be able to call themselves the best three headed dragon in AOW. Despite not doing anything to truly ‘steal the spotlight’ in the Tournament, the meticulous and genius Mercenaries, Inc. has already punched their ticket to the finals. Who will join them? It’s some teams with unfinished business – the new three Amigos in SuperPsicoStar take their new and healed captain up against a nemesis who is hell bent on embarrassing them once again in Carlito Colon.
But that’s not all!! Gregory Helms has to atone for interrupting the main event last week from Bryan Danielson himself, AOW Champion Chris Jericho is back in attendance, and the schism of the World’s Greatest Tag Team continues. All this (and more!!) on the next Wednesday Night Oblivion, 9/8c only on FX!!
