Last week SmackDown saw the return of General Manager Teddy Long, who certainly shook things up by firing Interim General Manager Jonathan Coachman, suspending Umaga and then making a main event to find a challenger to Batista's World Heavyweight Championship... but it seems like Edge had no desire to embrace change.

As Edge, Mr. Kennedy and Chris Benoit battled in a Triple Threat Match to determine who would face Batista on tonight's show, it appeared Edge had the match won, only for an out of place referee to again cost 'The Rated-R Superstar'. It would be Benoit who profitted from this, as he recovered to snatch the victory and the title shot... only for Edge to strike with a one man con-chair-to, despite the best efforts of 'The Animal' to overt the assault. With Benoit now ruled out indefinitely through his injuries, tonight's title match has been postponed, and instead Teddy Long has decided to let Edge and Kennedy have it, the pait meeting to decide who will face Batista on next week's show from London, England. With no love lost between Edge and Kennedy due to their dealings with each other prior to WrestleMania, this promise to be a fiercely contested main event, with Edge no doubt determined to finally earn another crack at the champion.

Now that he's United States Champion, Matt Hardy knows he's a marked man, with two potential challengers already making themselves known in the shape of Finlay and The Miz. Finlay made the first move last week, attacking Hardy after his match, laying a beating on the champion, making his intentions clear, while Miz has been more cautious, wanting to wait and see who out of Hardy and Finlay emerges as champion once they're done with each other. Hardy isn't scheduled to compete tonight, though he'll no doubt be watching on as Finlay takes one Tommy Dreamer, and of course, the loudmouth Miz will no doubt want everyone to hear his opinion on the matter.

Another issue Teddy Long vowed to fix this week is the actions of The New Breed in their quest to face The Hooligans with the WWE Tag Team Championships on the line. Two weeks ago, Elijah Burke and Monty Brown jumped London and Kendrick from behind, with Long reprimanding the pair last week. This week, Burke and Brown will take on a team of Teddy's choosing, but with Long granting London and Kendrick the night off to allow London's injured knee a chance to heal, just who will Teddy choose to take on the newcomers?

Elsewhere, Kane looks to continue his recent winning ways as he takes on Montel Vontavious Porter, a match that is sure to have the full attention of King Booker. Bryan Danielson is in action again as he takes on Joey Mercury, with Gregory Helms no doubt continuing to canvas for signatures for his petition to have the Cruiserweight Championship retired in his honour. And we'll hear more on the situation brewing between Chavo Guerrero and the impending return to SmackDown of Rey Mysterio.

Confirmed Matches:

Edge vs. Mr. Kennedy

Kane vs. Montel Vontavious Porter
Finlay vs. Tommy Dreamer
Bryan Danielson vs. Joey Mercury
The New Breed vs. A Team of Teddy Long's Choosing

Plus!! We'll have an update on the status of Chris Benoit, and we'll hear from Chavo Guerrero with regards to the upcoming return of Rey Mysterio!

Show now posted here.

Royal Rumble Preview | January 22 1995| Tampa, Florida

30 Man Royal Rumble Match | Winner gets a title shot at Wrestlemania XI
The Undertaker, Lex Luger, Yokozuna, Bob Backlund, Shawn Michaels, The British Bulldog, Razor Ramon, Owen Hart, Jeff Jarrett, Bam Bam Bigelow, The 123 Kid, Hakushi, Tatanka, Rick Martel, Crush, King Kong Bundy, I.R.S, Doink, Adam Bomb, Man Mountain Rock, The Roadie, Henry Godwinn, Kwang, Duke the Dumpster Droese, Aldo Montoya, The Headshrinkers, Men on a Mission and Papa Shango

30 of the WWF’s finest athletes compete in the Royal Rumble match with the winner receiving a WWF Title shot at WrestleMania XI. It is everyman for himself, friend vs friend, foe vs foe. The winner of this match will be escorted down the aisle at WrestleMania by Pamela Anderson. Last year history was made when for the first time ever in Royal Rumble history when there were 2 Winners. Can history repeat itself again? Just like last year it will be another fast paced Rumble match as participants enter every 90 seconds and the luck of the draw will be very important.

The Rumble event has been come to be known for making stars. There will be plenty of favourites in former WWF Champion The Undertaker, Former WWF Champion and the winner of the 1993 Rumble Yokozuna. Yokozuna has main evented WrestleMania 9 and 10 and will this be a 3rd time lucky charm for the huge Yokozuna? Last year’s co-winner Lex Luger is also one of the favourites as he plans on winning back-to-back Rumbles. Will the crown jewel of the Million Dollar Corporation fulfill his destiny by winning the Rumble and going on to WrestleMania to become the WWF Champion? Other favourites include King Kong Bundy, Bam Bam Bigelow and Shawn Michaels. There will be plenty of dark horses in Owen Hart, Razor Ramon, The British Bulldog, Jeff Jarrett, The 123 Kid and several more participants. Could a win here send them into super stardom? With the Royal Rumble being the Road to WrestleMania, who will emerge victorious in this spectacular match?

WWF Championship Title Match
Diesel (c) vs Bret Hart

At Survivor Series 1994, Shawn Michaels accidently hit Diesel with the superkick leading to an argument and this put an end to the team of Diesel and Shawn Michaels. Once good friends but now bitter enemies. Later on in the night Bret Hart defended the WWF Title against Mr Bob Backlund and lost the title in controversial fashion. With Bret out of action, Backlund defended the title 3 days later against Diesel. What an opportunity this was for Diesel to make a statement and he did it by defeating Bob Backlund in 8 seconds to become the WWF Champion. Diesel made history as he became the first man to win all three titles in the same calendar year. Since becoming champion, Diesel has been on an incredible run defeating many top challengers. While Bret has had a long lay off, the WWF has been running on Diesel power. At the Royal Rumble, The Hitman battles Big Daddy Cool Diesel again. The last time we saw these two square off was at King of the Ring and Bret Hart was the WWF Champion and that match ended in a disqualification. The big question is will Bret be able to kick out of the jackknife? Bret recently returned to action and teamed with Diesel on the 2nd anniversary of Raw and then this week on Raw, Bret was victorious in his first singles match since Survivor Series. Diesel has great momentum coming into this match but don’t forget that for the last 2 years The Hitman has not lost at the Royal Rumble. Last year Diesel put in a very dominating performance in the Royal Rumble match with several eliminations. With so much at stake and both men being fan favourites, who will have his hand raised in victory in this huge title match?

WWF Intercontinental Title Match
Owen Hart (c) vs The British Bulldog

Ever since The British Bulldog returned in 1994, The Bulldog has been on Bret Hart’s side in the family feud. After what went down at Survivor Series, The British Bulldog promises to make Owen pay for his actions. Now that Owen is the new Intercontinental Champion, Owen has a lot to brag about because he’s the only Hart family member that’s currently holding a title. Owen wants to do everything better than his brother Bret. Owen became King of the Ring last year and now his next target is to win the Royal Rumble just like Bret did last year. The British Bulldog vows to make Owen’s reign a very short reign. The Bulldog has set his sights on not only becoming Intercontinental Champion but also a Royal Rumble winner as both men will also be competing in the Rumble match later on. With both men pulling double duty, who will emerge victorious in the clash between the brother- in laws at the Rumble?

The Undertaker vs Doink The Clown

The Undertaker has had his way with many superstars in the WWF but over the past couple of months, The Evil clown Doink has been a major thorn in Undertaker’s side. There has been a major change for both superstars over the Summer last year with The Undertaker returning as stronger than ever while Doink went from a fun loving clown to going back to being a more evil sadistic clown. Doink has been playing a lot of mindgames with The Undertaker and he’s caused a lot of problems. Doink’s played several sick pranks on The Undertaker and Paul Bearer while The Undertaker has also given Doink nightmares. The Undertaker has promised to destroy Doink but Doink has promised that he has some tricks up his sleeves. The Royal Rumble hasn’t been much of a kind event to The Undertaker because the last 2 Rumble events, The Undertaker has had some bad luck and Doink plans on making it another miserable night for The Undertaker. Will Doink succeed in his plans or will Doink rest in peace.

WWF Tag Team Title Match
The Heavenly Bodies (c) vs The Smoking Gunns

In December, The Heavenly Bodies became tag team champions for the very first time by winning a tag team tournament. They defeated The Smoking Gunns in the finals. The Heavenly Bodies nailed Bart Gunn with Jim Cornette's tennis racket across the neck putting Bart out of action for some time. Since then The Heavenly Bodies have been on a major roll defeating many of the top teams in the WWF. At the Rumble, The Smoking Gunns will be returning to action to receive a rematch against The Heavenly Bodies. Will The Smoking Gunns get their revenge and become tag team champions for the first time or will The Heavenly Bodies continue to dominate the tag team division.

JANUARY 3RD IMPACT PREVIEW & NOTES
With TNA gearing up for it's first Impact since the companies biggest show of the year and huge company overhaul, expect big things on this special 3-hour edition of Impact. Expect storyline progression with the Aces & 8s angle with some in TNA pushing for the groups big reveal to occur on this very show. The chances of that are relatively unlikely though, especially considering the group have been off TV for a while. It is highly likely, however, that the group unveiled themselves before TNA's next Pay-Per-View, Genesis, as the talks are of having the group face-off with a TNA team in a big eight man tag team match as one of the show's Main Event matches. With Hogan & Sting being the two to call the group out on Impact, those two are also expected to take part in the 8-man with management feeling that having other workers in the match will cover up Hogan's injuries.

• With Dave Batista making his very first appearance for the company on the show, his position on the show is also a hot-topic of debate. Many feel like Dave should somehow involve himself in the Main Event, with talks of a run-in leading to a triple threat or fatal four way (also involving Austin Aries) or even a confrontation with the winner being thrown about as potential ideas. There is also a strong push to keep Batista away from title contention for a short period to allow him the chance to establish a run in the company with a match against Kurt Angle possibly being in the offing. This much is for sure, Dave will come face to face with his first opponent in the company on the show, whoever that may end up being.

• What to do with the two title matches is also a topic of hot debate for the backstage. Many believe that beating James Storm in another World Title match could seriously damage whatever momentum he has left behind him. On the other side of things, they belief is that taking the title off of Hardy in his first match since winning the belt seems a little irrational considering he's one of the biggest name's the company has. They seem to have booked themselves into a corner with this match which is why the idea of a Batista run-in is being thrown around, to help both guys save face. While the World Title is a big point of discussion, the X-Division Title situation is also up in the air. Many believe Jesse Sorensen should win the X-Division Championship to conclude this feel good story but there are others who believe Sorensen isn't quite ready for a run as champion yet. Ultimately, the decision on who walks out with the X-Division Championship could come down to the wire with management nowhere near agreeing on a winner.

• Former WWE stars, John Hennigan (Morrison), Beth Scarlet (Phoenix) and Natalie Neidhart (Natalya), are all joining Batista in making their debuts with the company. The rumors surround Scarlet & Neidhart are that the two will be brought in as 'dominant wrestlers', something similar to the "Diva's Of Doom" run, which will lead them into a tag team feud against two other Knockouts. While the company is reportedly very high on both women, they are especially high on Beth and are likely to push her towards a singles title run at some point. Hennigan is also expected to have a good run with the company. Being brought in as a face and being teamed with three of the companies biggest names, he's expected to feud with Joey Ryan with some kind of "Hollywood" twist to the angle since both guys are considered to be "primadonna-like" with their on-screen characters and with Tara revealing Joey Ryan is her on-screen boyfriend, Miss Tessmacher is expected to align herself with Hennigan, be it simply as a manager/tag team partner or as his girlfriend.

• The King Mo/Bobby Roode confrontation is expected to help set-up a match between the two at Genesis. When names were thrown around as to who Mo's first match should be against, Bobby Roode was one of the first names to come up. Management feel the beginnings of a feud are already in place due to the outcome of the Roode-Storm match at Bound For Glory and they believe Roode will be ably suited to help cover up Mo's flaws should he struggle in the ring. Mo is reportedly very excited to be working with Roode even going as far as to call Roode a "modern day Ric Flair". High praised indeed.

• Finally, Styles & Angle are expected to challenge the World Tag Team Champions Of The World for the Tag Team Titles again at Genesis in a stipulation match that will be their "last chance" to challenge for the gold. Expect the winner of the fatal four way to challenge the winner of the X-Division Championship match, with Sabin being touted as the man to challenge Ion, should he retain, and Doug Williams being touted for the shot if Sorensen wins the belt.

With two of TNA's top superstars competing for the companies top prize, this contest is sure to be a great way to kick off this huge new era for TNA!

Dave Batista's Impact Debut
Preview:
One of the biggest name's professional wrestling has come to TNA: Dave Batista makes his Impact debut! Being known for speak his mind more often than, Batista will surely have plenty to say about TNA and his position in the company going forward. Is Batista going to attempt to stake his claim to the World Title? Will he call out whoever feels like they're up to the task of toppling him? Or does he have a more specific target in mind?

Hulk Hogan & Sting call out Aces & 8s
Preview:
Having first debuted more than six months ago, Aces & 8s have spent that time running rough shot over the TNA roster, attacking whoever and whenever they wanted. TNA General Manager, Hulk Hogan, and TNA Hall Of Famer, Sting, both plan on putting that run of terror to an end when they call out the group for a face to face confrontation. It's a bold move considering they will be outnumbered but do Hogan & Sting have a plan for the group? This just can't end well.

AJ Styles, Kurt Angle, RVD & John Hennigan W/Tessmacher Vs WTTCOTW, Austin Aries & Joey Ryan W/Tara
Preview:
In his first match since losing the World Heavyweight Championship, Austin Aries teams with the World Tag Team Champions Of The World and Joey Ryan to take on AJ Styles, Kurt Angle, Rob Van Dam and TNA newcomer John Hennigan. With the possibility of a future Tag Team Title shot for Styles and Angle as well as Aries inevitable World Title rematch, this is a huge match in determining where each of these superstars are heading to next. RVD will have a lot to prove having unsuccessfully challenged Zema Ion for the X-Division Title at Bound For Glory while Hennigan and Ryan will both feel like they have a lot to prove in their respective first match with a signed TNA contract and let's not forget about the tag team champions! Kazarian and Daniels come off their biggest victory as a team with a load of momentum behind them and they'll certainly want to keep that going here.

TNA X-Division Championship: Zema Ion (c) Vs Jesse Sorensen
Preview:
After suffering a broken neck, Jesse Sorensen returns to the ring to challenge for the X-Division Championship against the man who injured him: Zema Ion. Sorensen's road to recovery has been well documented but Ion has shown no ounce of remorse for the former Football star. Sorensen is hoping that his comeback will have a fairytale ending as he realises his dream of becoming the X-Division Champion but I'm sure Zema Ion will have more than a few tricks up his sleeve to try and stop that from happening.

King Mo/Bobby Roode Confrontation
Preview:
Bound For Glory saw Bobby Roode leaving highly frustrated by his inability to pick up a victory over James Storm. Roode has decided to lay the blame firmly on the shoulders of the Special Enforcer of that match, King Mo. Following the posting of several videos on impactwrestling.com, Roode claims King Mo 'screwed him' out of the victory. Management decided that best way to solve this would be to put these two men face to face in front of the whole world and, on this special 3-hour edition of Impact, that's exactly what will happen.

Mr Anderson Vs D'Angelo Dinero
Preview:
Mr Anderson will feel he has a lot to prove after being overlooked by Sting for the match against Aces & 8s at Bound For Glory as he goes up against D'Angelo Dinero in what is sure to be a hotly contested affair. Both men have been involved in the World Title picture in recent times and will surely want to get back there as soon as possible. The winner of this contest will surely go some way towards proving he deserves another opportunity at glory.

Rosita & Sarita Vs Beth Scarlet & Natalie Neidhart
Preview:
TNA newcomers Beth Scarlet & Natalie Neidhart make their debuts against the team of Rosita & Sarita. With Scarlet and Neidhart promising to make there mark, a win here would go a long way towards establishing themselves as contenders to the Knockouts Championship.

Having impressed in the months leading up to Bound For Glory; Kenny King, Sonjay Dutt and Doug Williams are all looking to establish themselves as contenders to the X-Division Championship. Whoever wins will surely go a long way towards earning themselves an X-Division Title shot.

Monday Night Raw Preview
September 19, 2011
Times Union Center – Albany, New York

The WWE is just one night removed from the historic Night of Champions event; the first in the John Laurinaitis era on Monday Night Raw. The main event for the WWE Championshipn saw Alberto Del Rio successfully defend the WWE Championship in a Six-Pack Challenge Elimination Match against CM Punk, John Cena, The Miz, R-Truth and Kofi Kingston; but the Mexican Aristocrat's victory did not come without some controversy. For the third time, Kevin Nash cost CM Punk the WWE Championship where Punk and Del Rio were the last two men left in the contest. As with the previous two occasions, there has been no word from anyone regarding Nash's motives or whereabouts, and it is not known if he will show up in Albany tonight, but if that is the case it is no doubt that there is a certain CM Punk that will be looking for some answers tonight. The Straight Edge Superstar is set to open the show in the Times Union Center and who knows what type of pipebomb he is planning on dropping?

Also stemming from the WWE Championship last night is tonight's main event where John Cena will take on one half of John Laurinaitis' Security Team, R-Truth. Cena eliminated Truth from the match after he put his rival Alberto Del Rio through the Spanish announce table, but just as Cena was about to force The Miz to submit to the STF, Truth illegally came back in and he along with Miz double-teamed Cena; allowing Del Rio to pick up the scraps and eliminate Cena. Cena will still have his eyes set on the WWE Championship around Alberto Del Rio's waist and with Hell in a Cell only two weeks away, he will see tonight as a chance to prove that he is the one that deserves a shot at the gold. Speaking of Cena, he has apparently been going around all day to his fellow Superstars saying that he has an important announcement for Raw tonight, when we will find out about what Cena has to say is unknown, but this is John Cena; it is going to be important.

A total of three titles changed hands at Night of Champions; Smackdown's World Heavyweight Championship, as well as the Divas Championship and the WWE Tag Team Championships, where Santino Marella and Vladimir Kozlov won the titles for the second time, defeating the former-Nexus duo of David Otunga and Michael McGillicutty. The now former champions were too concerned with the argument from many people claiming that they were "boring" and not on the match which allowed The Odd Couple to recapture the titles they held at the beginning of this year. Mike and Dave were reduced to helping out on the arena Security to try and reduce the Kevin Nash threat, but that work was rewarded with the rematch for the Tag Team Titles in Albany tonight.

The United States Champion Dolph Ziggler successfully fought off tough competition in the form of former World Champion and long-time adversary Rey Mysterio, but he was given a massive assist from the man that has been desperate to obtain the managerial services of Dolph's manager Vickie Guerrero, Drew McIntyre. All three are scheduled to be in attendance and Guerrero has requested some time for her and her client to address the situation regarding the future of the United States Championship.

Two men that have been warring viciously the past few weeks are Jack Swagger and the man who's popularity grows each and every week, Zack Ryder. Last week Ryder's old friend Curt Hawkins turned his back on "Long Island Iced-Z" whilst Ryder tried to stop Swagger putting him out of action like he did to Raw interviewer Scott Stanford and another of Ryder's former Tag Team partners, Primo. Tonight, Ryder has a chance to get his hands on the "All-American American" as he teams with Primo to face Swagger and Hawkins.

Hey everyone, The Royal Rumble 1995 show is now up. Check it out. Show posted here All Feedback is appreciated and will be returned. Hope you guys enjoy the show.

WWE Monday Night Raw Preview- 22/8/05- Hampton, Virginia

Twenty Four hours removed from a wild night at Summerslam, the superstars of Monday Night Raw head to Hampton on a night where the fallout and consequences will come into effect after a controversial and emotional night in Washington D.C.

Last night saw Batista retain the World Heavyweight Title, defeating Kane as Shawn Michaels did the ‘right thing’ and called it how he saw it, going against Eric Bischoff’s wishes and counting the Big Red Machine down. Bischoff promised there would be hell to pay if Michaels didn’t follow his orders and the Raw GM’s ‘Personal Employee’ will head to Hampton knowing that his job is hanging in the balance. What will Eric Bischoff have in store for the Heartbreak Kid? Will Batista have anything to say to the Showstopper? And will it be the last we see of Kane in his pursuit for gold?

The career of the legendary Ric Flair came crashing down last night as Flair was defeated by Christian in a dramatic contest. Christian had vowed going into the event that he would once and for all put away the Nature Boy and last night he lived up to his word. Flair bid farewell to the fans last night in an emotional goodbye that had us all gripped. With Naitch now out of the picture, will Christian live true to his word and really become the ‘Leader of a New Generation’? Is Captain Charisma now destined to rise to the top or will there be another roadblock in his way?

We crowned a new Intercontinental Champion last night as Shelton Benjamin finally reclaimed the gold he lost to Muhammad Hassan at Backlash. Benjamin and Hassan put on a gruelling contest and there was no doubting the role Benjamin’s partner played in the match, Charlie Haas. It was Haas who indeed earned Benjamin his title shot and it was again Haas who kept his partner in the contest, distracting Hassan and allowing Benjamin time to survive following what appeared to be a match ending Ankle Lock. How will Benjamin celebrate his title victory? Will he now know just how influential his partner was? And will the former champion and his Entity be in hot pursuit of his lost championship?

Edge retained his Money in the Bank contract, defeating Chris Jericho in controversial fashion last night. Y2J will no doubt be seeking revenge tonight in Hampton after Edge used his Money in the Bank briefcase to smash Jericho’s skull in. Will Edge get his comeuppance tonight or will the Rated R Superstar dodge Chris Jericho’s proverbial bullet?

Mr.Kennedy continues to thrive for competition and was promised last night at Summerslam that he would have his wish granted. Tonight Kennedy will be in action, will he face the challenge he so desperately desires?

All of this and much, much more will be in store LIVE tonight on Raw! Tune in, we promise, you will NOT wanna miss it!!

Confirmed for tonight’s Raw:

We will hear from Raw General Manager, Eric Bischoff;

Mr.Kennedy will be in action;

Plus;

All the fallout and reaction from a blockbuster night at Summerslam as World Champion Batista, Shawn Michaels and Kane will all be in attendance
