Monday Night Raw
American Airlines Arena, Miami, Florida | 2nd May 2011

Following the huge events of Extreme Rules last night, Monday Night Raw emanates from Miami, home of Wrestlemania 28 next year, and tonight, not only can we look forward to the fallout from last night’s pay-per-view, but it’s the Birthday Special for none other than THE ROCK! The Great One will be in attendance, opening the show for a birthday address, but that’s not all we’ll hear from the host of our last Wrestlemania…

Tonight also sees the contract signing for the WWE Title Match at Over The Limit. Current champion The Miz came through a hellacious match last night in an Extreme Rules Triple Threat that saw John Cena and Triple H walk out empty-handed. Meanwhile, one of Raw’s most talented in-ring technicians, Daniel Bryan, won his Ladder Match last night to secure himself the position of facing The Miz at the next pay-per-view. As a result, Bryan and The Miz will sign the contract for their title match tonight, while Raw General Manager Jerry “The King” Lawler oversees proceedings… alongside a man who’s held the WWE Title on several occasions himself, the Brahma Bull, The Rock. The Miz and Daniel Bryan are old enemies, having met before, and if their rivalry carries forward to tonight, Lawler and The Rock may just be needed to keep the peace.

Elsewhere on Raw, CM Punk made off with a startling win in his Last Man Standing Match against Randy Orton when Mason Ryan and Skip Sheffield intervened on the Second City Saint’s behalf. Much to the chagrin of the WWE fans present, Ryan and Sheffield provided the assist for Punk with merciless finishing moves, leading to Punk hitting the Go To Sleep on a bloodied Orton to keep him down for the ten count. Tonight on Raw, CM Punk was offered the night off, but he has declined, possibly to give us an explanation for why these two behemoths joined him at the crucial venture last night. When will Punk make his voice heard? And what will the damaged, brutalised Randy Orton have to say about it all, if he’s even present after his beatdown?

Raw also has not one, but TWO title matches here tonight for the Miami fans. Fresh off her title win alongside Sheamus in last night’s Winner Take All tag team affair, new Diva’s Champion Melina defends her title belt against former champ Eve Torres, clearly infuriated that she wasn’t pinned to lose her championship last night. Regardless, she cashes in her rematch clause tonight on Raw, meaning it’ll be settled once and for all which of the two deserves to be the face of Raw’s Divas. Similarly, Justin Gabriel and Heath Slater retained their WWE Tag Team Titles when Gabriel put BOTH Kane and the Big Show through the Spanish announce table, sparking discussion through the entire world after Extreme Rules’ most ‘wow’-worthy moment. Tonight, the duo from the Corre defend their titles against the team of R-Truth and Johnny Curtis, the latter cashing in the title shot he won from Season Four of NXT. After their exhausting match last night, do Gabriel and Slater have what it takes to defend their titles AGAIN in the face of overwhelming odds? Tune in to Raw to find out, because the Tag Team Titles are on the line in our main event this evening.

And that’s not all – we’ll hear from John Cena, while the United States Champion Sheamus takes on Mark Henry, the luckless John Morrison faces the equally-luckless Ted DiBiase, and we’ll find out if Michael Cole has made it to the arena, and the announce table, after his fall from the WWE stage last night!

~ Announced For Raw ~

WWE Title Match contract signing between The Miz and Daniel Bryan
The Rock kicks off his own Birthday Special
We’ll hear from John Cena

---

~ MAIN EVENT ~
Tag Team Contest – WWE Tag Team Championships
Justin Gabriel and The One Man Rock Band Heath Slater (c) versus R-Truth and Johnny Curtis

Singles Contest – Diva’s Championship
The Red Carpet Diva Melina (c) versus Eve Torres

Singles Contest
The Fortunate Son Ted DiBiase versus The Shaman of Sexy John Morrison

Singles Contest – Non-Title Match

Friday Night Smackdown
Friday 26th December 2008 - Preview!
From the E Center
West Valley City, Utah

The last Smackdown of the 2008 is upon us and after the events of Night of Champions this past Sunday it should be an explosive end to the year.

We saw a new World Heavyweight Champion crowned in highly controversial circumstances when John Cena defeated CM Punk. He owes Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley a big one after the WWE's Executive Vice-President counted a quick fall, something that neither Cena or Punk looked too happy about. It's safe to say that Punk will be gunning for Stephanie yet again, only this time he has every right to be angry, but will that make any difference, and what kind of reception will Cena get as the new champion from the far from welcoming Smackdown locker room? It's going to be a bumpy ride that you simply can't afford to miss.

New WWE Tag Team Champions were also crowned in controversial circumstances after Wade Barrett knocked Paul Burchill out with brass knucks slipped into the ring to him by William Regal, securing Barrett & Drew McIntyre the tag team titles they've set their sights on since arriving on Smackdown earlier this year. Burchill's full time tag team partner, Harry Smith was understandably angry as he & his stand-in, TJ Wilson had to endure seeing The Empire parade with their newly won titles. We understand that they won't have long to settle into their new role as champions as they will be in action this week against Paul London & Brian Kendrick. It'll be a tough test for the new champions as London & Kendrick have been on a roll since they've reunited recently. Could The Empire come back down to earth with a bang?

Matt Sydal & J-Red has no such problems in defending their titles as they overcame Alberto Del Rio-Ramirez & Chavo Guerrero respectively. They will be back in action on the last Smackdown of the calendar year with Red defending the Cruiserweight Championship against Johnny Devine. Sydal won't be putting his United States title on the line though when he competes in a rematch from last week against Dolph Ziggler. Last week Sydal was distracted by Del Rio-Ramirez and the distraction helped Ziggler pick up a victory over the Breakout Star of the Year. Can Sydal end the year on yet another high or will he lose to Ziggler for a second straight week?

Another champion who successfully defended their title Sunday night was Beth Phoenix, overcoming Michelle McCool to retain the diva's title. Surely The Glamazon will be happy to have shut McCool up, and we understand that she too maybe in action this week but it's yet to be confirmed. Having got McCool off her back she shouldn't care less about stepping into the ring after her victory on Sunday evening.

'The Rated-R' Superstar' Edge received a shock last week during his match with John Cena when his brother, Christian returned out of the blue. It was six weeks ago that Edge put Captain Charisma on the shelf after attacking him in the parking lot at the Survivor Series before they were both set to compete in the highly anticipated Team Cena versus Team Punk elimination match. It looked like Christian couldn't wait to get his hands on his brother last week and we hear that he will be at Smackdown this Friday night in West Valley. Make sure you're there to see him.

It sure promises to be an exciting end to 2008 this Friday night. You'd be a fool to miss it!

Confirmed for the Last Smackdown of 2008!

Cruiserweight Championship

J-Red (c) vs. Johnny Devine

Non-Title Match
Matt Sydal vs. Dolph Ziggler

Non-Title Match
Paul London & Brian Kendrick vs. The Empire

"What's the hardest part of my new job, you ask?
No. It's not the pressure, it's not the boss hovering over my shoulder.
It's me. It's me being content with the work that I'm putting out.
I've successfully booked and advertised my first edition of RAW.
Everyone in the office seems to be impressed so far... except Vince.
That's because he hasn't seen whats going to happen ON the program.
He's put his faith in me. I won't let him down.
I wont let ME down."

Monday Night Raw Preview
12 September 2011
Bell Centre – Montreal, Quebec, Canada

Tonight, six nights before Night of Champions this Sunday, Monday Night Raw comes from one of the arena which is the home of the Montreal Screwjob; the most infamous event in the history of the WWE. We can hope that we won't see something similar happen tonight in Montreal, but as the saying goes - anything can happen in the WWE!

One thing that we are sure will happen is that in a rematch from last week, two former WWE Champions, CM Punk and The Miz, will lock horns in the main event. But this match is going to be a Lumberjack Match... and the Lumberjacks? The other four men that are going to be competing for the WWE Championship this Sunday! WWE Champion Alberto Del Rio, John Cena, Kofi Kingston and The Miz' tag team partner, R-Truth, are all going to be at ringside to avoid, or most likely cause, chaos! The past two weeks in a row, The Miz has been able to pin Punk following a Skull Crushing Finale, but both times have been down to John Laurinaitis; the NEW Raw General Manager! "Big Johnny" revealed his new position last week at the end of the broadcast, much to the dismay of the COO of the WWE, Triple H. "The Boss" was unable to be reached for comment but did say that he WILL be in Montreal for Raw, and as for the New GM, he is set to open the show to desribe his plans for the red brand moving forward into the future.

In a rematch from three weeks ago, the number one contender to the United States Championship, Rey Mysterio, will take on "The Sinister Scotsman" Drew McIntyre. Last time out, Mysterio got the victory, to bolster his claims for a match for the US Title against Dolph Ziggler this Sunday; which he eventually received. With McIntyre trying to gain a place under the wing of Ziggler's manager, Vickie Guerrero, as well as Mysterio looking to send a message to his Night of Champions opponent, we know that Ziggler and the devious Guerrero will have a lot of interest in this match.

In a brutal attack during their match last week, Jack Swagger injured Primo, a former tag team partner, but still friend of his rival, Zack Ryder. Primo was taken to a local medical facility in Tacoma for injuries on his ankle. Tonight, we will provide an update on Primo's condition. Swagger tonight takes on another one of Ryder's former partners, and the man that Swagger won the WWE Tag Team Championships with; Curt Hawkins! Also, will Ryder be looking for revenge after last week?

Last week, a heated confrontation between the Tag Team Champions, David Otunga & Michael McGillicutty, and Raw ring announcer Jerry "The King" Lawler ended in near chaos as Lawler and Otunga agreed to face off tonight in Montreal. Will Lawler teach the "boring" champion a lesson? Or will Otunga be able to get some revenge on the slanderous announcer?

Looking to continue his roll as of late, Alex Riley takes on the formidable Tyler Reks!

Confirmed for Monday Night Raw:

Lumberjack Match:
The Miz vs CM Punk

John Laurinaitis to open the show

Rey Mysterio vs Drew McIntyre

Jack Swagger vs Curt Hawkins

Jerry Lawler vs David Otunga

Alex Riley vs Tyler Reks

Plus; Alberto Del Rio, John Cena, Beth Phoenix, Kelly Kelly, Natalya & Triple H!!!
