Monday Night Raw
January 30th, 2012

Less than twenty-four hours removed from an epic Royal Rumble pay-per-view, the WWE gets ready to shift it up a gear as the Road to WrestleMania continues. Michael Cole & Jerry 'The King' Lawler broadcast yet another episode of WWE Monday Night Raw and as ever, Raw will be live and in colour.

The obvious big story coming out of Royal Rumble is that of the match with the same name, the forty man Royal Rumble match which pitted forty of the WWE's best superstars against each other, all fightig it out for the dream of main eventing at WrestleMania in a championship match of their choosing. The man who took the first step to realizing that dream was Monday Night Raw Superstar, Dolph Ziggler. The current United States Champion outlasted thirty-nine other men to be given the opportunity to face either the WWE Champion or the World Heavyweight Champion at WrestleMania Twenty-Eight. The WWE Insider has reported that we could even learn which championship Dolph Ziggler will decide upon as early as tonight, and you can bet that Raw General Manager John Laurinaitis will want Dolph Ziggler to remain on the Raw brand. To find out what Dolph Ziggler has to say regarding his Royal Rumble victory and what lays ahead for him, tune in to Raw tonight on USA!

Another man with a lot to smile about coming out of Royal Rumble is the WWE Champion, CM Punk after he defeated Alberto Del Rio in an absolutely tremendous match. Not only did CM Punk defeat Alberto Del Rio but, he sealed Alberto Del Rio's fate with regards to challenging him for the WWE Championship again as the stipulation was that if Alberto Del Rio lost, he wouldn't be able to challenge for the WWE Championship as longas CM Punk held the title. With Alberto Del Rio out of the championship scene, one would bet that another challenger is looming for CM Punk, the only question is who?

Kevin Nash informed the WWE Insider that live on Raw tonight, he is giving Triple H one last chance to show up and face him like a man and if he refuses to, Kevin Nash is going on a hunting trip to find The Game. Triple H hasn't been seen for months ever since he was decimated by Kevin Nash with a sledgehammer and since then, Kevin Nash has mocked, taunted and made a complete fool out of the fourteen time WWE Champion.

Also scheduled for Monday Night Raw, Air Boom defend the WWE Tag Team Championships against Curt Hawkins & Tyler Reks and Brodus Clay is also in action. Tune in to Monday Night Raw, tonight to witness the fallout from Royal Rumble and many more developments as The Road To WrestleMania hots up!

Friday Night Impact | Preview | December 2, 2011

Quote:
Last week Impact General Manager Sting named CM Punk the new #1 Contender to Kurt Angle's TNA World Heavyweight Championship. Later on, Kurt Angle got the win for his team against CM Punk's team in a 6-man Tag Team match. Tonight, what will the next chapter in this newly started rivalry be??

Also, last week we saw a heated confrontation between Christian and Jeff Hardy end in a brawl, and later on before their scheduled match Christian attacked Hardy before their match and left him motionless. What will be next as Jeff will surely be seaking retribution??

Tonight is also the end of one tournament and the begining of another. The end of the Mini-Tournament to find the new #1 Contenders to the Women's Tag Team Championships, as Kelly Kelly and Eve Torres takes on Maryse and Aksana. And the begining of the Television Championship 8-man Tournament that Sting promised last week. Who will become the new #1 Contenders for the Women's Tag Team Championships?? Who will be in action in the Television Championship Tournament, and who will advance??

And last, it has been reported on WWE.com that for two weeks the X-Division Champion Austin Aries has been asking for a match. Tonight he will get his long wanted debut on WWE ground.

All that and more, live tonight on Friday Night Impact.
This has been posted now, along with the December 1st edition of WWE Superstars

WWE Friday Night Smackdown Preview- 24/6/05- Boise; Idaho

The road to The Great American Bash really begins tonight following on from a controversial Smackdown: Night of Champions special last week. Tonight Smackdown comes to you from Boise, Idaho and we are all wondering just what the WWE title picture looks like following the main event last week which saw John Cena defend his title against Randy Orton.

The match was an exciting encounter with both men coming close to picking up the victory but the match ended with the duo of Kurt Angle and John Bradshaw Layfield interfering and taking out both Cena and Orton, causing the referee to call for the bell and resulting in a No Contest. Angle and Layfield both believe that they deserve championship opportunities, feeling aggrieved that in theirs and a lot of people’s eyes John Cena cost them a championship match. It was of course a few weeks back when Angle, Orton and JBL met with Cena as special guest referee, the winner would earn a title shot at Night of Champions. Kurt Angle made Randy Orton tap out, only for Cena to miss the action, instead attacking JBL following the ‘Wrestling God’s provocation. With Cena missing the action, this allowed Orton to hit an RKO on Angle and pick up the victory.

Since then Angle and JBL have been infuriated and believe Cena is avoiding facing them. Will either man get their wish tonight from Smackdown General Manager Teddy Long? Or will Randy Orton get his deserved rematch? We certainly hope to find out tonight.

Also last week we saw a shocking United States title match which lasted all of twelve seconds. Matt Hardy was scheduled to receive his title shot against champion Orlando Jordan but as Hardy made his way down ringside, Jordan ambushed him from behind, taking out Hardy and launching a vicious attack on his challenger. Hardy was left completely defenceless but yet the match still went ahead and Jordan finished things off immediately. We know that Matt Hardy will not be in Boise tonight but what we do know is that when he returns he WILL be granted a fair rematch, much to Orlando Jordan’s disgust. Will we see a new challenger emerge meantime or will Orlando be looking over his shoulder until Hardy returns?

Last week again saw Rey Mysterio and Rob Van Dam fall short in capturing the WWE Tag Team championships with Melina playing a huge role in helping her boys Mercury and Nitro come out victorious. Following the match, Van Dam and Mysterio pleaded with Mercury and Nitro to give them a fair rematch at The Great American Bash, asking that Melina not be ringside, telling Mercury and Nitro to do the right thing and earn their respect. The high flying duo even made an offer, that if MNM beat them without Melina they will go to the back of the line and not receive another title opportunity. Will we get a response tonight from MNM or will Van Dam and Mysterio have to continue pleading with the champs?

The Cruiserweight championship was defended last week also in a breathtaking contest between champion Paul London and The Hurricane with London coming out on top to retain his title. Hurricane however put up a strong showing and fell just short of capturing gold. We know that Chavo Guerrero has stuck his nose into all this lately, proclaiming that Hurricane should listen to his advice and ditch the superhero schtick and return to who he really is, Gregory Helms. Hurricane refused, stating he doesn’t know who Gregory Helms is but Chavo told him that whilst he’s The Hurricane he will always fall short of winning the top prize. Will Hurricane listen anymore to what Chavo’s saying following last week’s loss? Or will Chavo continue falling short in his bid to revive Hurricane’s fortunes?

It wasn’t all about championships last week however as friends Booker T and Rhyno went one on one with the winner getting a match with Carlito here tonight in a No Disqualifications match. The match was a back and forth contest but was ruined when Carlito showed his face and ended up costing Booker T, allowing Rhyno to come out victorious. Many will question why Carlito got involved as he has issues with both men but you have to assume he wants to further get inside the head of the former WCW champion. Booker and Rhyno have had a little tension in their friendship as of late and you can only believe that will continue whilst they both chase Carlito. What will happen tonight when the Man Beast and the Apple Spitter go head to head?

And finally, following last week’s controversy in the main event, along with vicious attacks from Orlando Jordan on Matt Hardy and also Rene Dupree and Kenzo Suzuki on Bobby Lashley as well as the continued ‘hostage’ almost of Chris Masters by the Mexicools, pressure has been placed on General Manager Teddy Long this week. Many are calling for either an apology or perhaps even resignation from Long, with some questioning why he has yet to do anything about all the chaos in recent weeks, particularly last week. Will we hear anything from Long here tonight or will the General Manager allow chaos to reign supreme once more?

Confirmed for Smackdown:

No Disqualification Match
Carlito vs. Rhyno

WWE King of the Ring 2004 Preview

WWE King of the Ring
June 13, 2004, Columbus Ohio

World Heavyweight Title I Quit Match
Chris Benoit (c) vs HHH

Triple H has waited 2 months to get his rematch for the World Heavyweight Championship after Chris Benoit made Triple H tap out at WrestleMania 20. Now he finally has it by winning a Triple-Threat Elimination #1 Contender's Match by beating Jericho and Shawn Michaels to get this opportunity. Now this rivalry has intensified over the past few weeks and now it finally comes to a head. All members of Evolution are banned from ringside. The final encounter between these 2 men. No excuses, no more chances, no more rematches. The beginning of the end of this rivalry once and for all as it will be in an I Quit Match where everything is on the line in this match. If Triple H loses he can't get no more title shots for as long as Benoit is the World Heavyweight Champion. If Chris Benoit loses he must leave RAW and go back to Smackdown and he can't get a rematch. Which man will walk out the World Heavyweight Champion? Which man will suffer the ultimate defeat, who will say I Quit this Sunday at KOTR?

WWE Title No Disqualification Match
Eddie Guerrero (c) vs Edge

Eddie Guerrero ever since becoming WWE Champion has overcome the odds time and time again but Edge may be Eddie Guerrero's toughest opponent yet. Edge has become psychotic these past few months becoming obsessed with the WWE Championship. First by putting Kurt Angle on the shelf and then turning on his best friend Rey Mysterio and in the process turning on his friend Eddie Guerrero. Edge now has one goal and that is to become WWE Champion and get rid of Eddie Guerrero once and for all. Now these 2 former friends now turned bitter rivals will go at it for the WWE Championship at King of the Ring in a NO-DQ match. In the past, they had a NO-DQ match which Edge won but this time it’s personal and for the WWE Title. This Sunday at KOTR, who will walk out WWE Champion?

Interpromotional 30 Man Battle Royal
Winner receives a heavyweight title shot at their brands next ppv(The Great American Bash or Vengeance)

15 Raw superstars: The Rock, Shawn Michaels, Ric Flair, William Regal, Eugene, Charlie Haas, Rene Dupree, Sylvan Grenier, Rob Conway, Maven, Garrison Cade, Johnny the Bull, Chuck Palumbo and The Dudleys 15 Smackdown stars: The Undertaker, Kane, Mordecai, Rey Mysterio, Booker T, Val Venis, Rhyno, The Hurricane and Shannon Moore, Kidman, Paul London, Chavo Guerrero, Tajiri, Jamie Noble and Nunzio
15 men from RAW, 15 men from Smackdown, only one man can win this huge Battle Royal. The stakes are high in this match with the winner getting a championship match at their brand's next pay per view. The favorites in this match are The Rock, Shawn Michaels, Ric Flair, Undertaker, Kane, Mordecai, and any one of them could win it all. Then there are the underdogs like Rey Mysterio, Eugene, Maven, Tajiri, Charlie Haas and much more. This match can give any one of these men a date with destiny in becoming a champion once again. As for the superstars who no one expects to win, this match could help skyrocket them to superstardom. 30 men, fighting for one chance, one dream, one opportunity, a chance to become the #1 contender. This Sunday who will win the battle royal?

King of the Ring Tournament - Winner receives a title shot at SummerSlam

Quarter Finals

Randy Orton vs Shelton Benjamin
Batista vs Chris Jericho

Matt Hardy vs John Cena
John Bradshaw Layfield vs RVD

Semi Finals
Randy Orton or Shelton Benjamin vs Batista or Chris Jericho
Matt Hardy or John Cena vs JBL or RVD

+ The Finals

8 men fighting for the opportunity to be crowned King as four superstars and four superstars from Smackdown compete in the King of the Ring tournament. Only one can become King as this tournament has been used to skyrocket superstars into becoming legends like for example Bret The Hitman Hart, Owen Hart, Stone Cold and Triple H and this tournament helped make their careers. This Sunday at KOTR any one of the 8 men in the tournament either RAW's Chris Jericho, Intercontinental Champion Randy Orton, Batista and Shelton Benjamin. Or Smackdown’s United States Champion John Cena, JBL, RVD and Matt Hardy will become the 2004 King of the Ring. This year’s King of the Ring tournament looks to be the best one yet and not only will they have the prestige of being a King, they will have the distinction of going from a superstar into a legend all in one night. Not only will the winner become King, he will also receive a championship match against their brand’s champion at SummerSlam. Who will be King this Sunday at KOTR?

King of the Ring is now up. Show now posted here
All Feedback is appreciated and will be returned. Review for review for this event.

Monday Night Raw Preview
Monday 3rd November 2008
1st Mariner Arena
Baltimore, Maryland

We’re less than a week away from the 22nd Annual Survivor Series and we’re all set for what should be an explosive edition of Raw tonight live from the 1st Mariner Arena in Baltimore.

This Sunday will see three former Evolution team-mates, Batista, Triple H & Randy Orton battle it out for The Animal’s WWE Championship, and last week we saw that for those who were starting to believe Batista could trust The Viper, well he struck like only a viper can. Orton let everyone know that the only thing on his mind was getting to the Survivor Series and becoming the WWE Champion once again, and then he left The Animal in no uncertain terms that he can’t be trusted or underestimated.

With both men joined in the ring by Triple H, Batista went after revenge for the week before and took the fight to The Game, but after flooring Triple H, he fell victim to an RKO right out of nowhere. It should be a reminder to the WWE Champion that he can’t take his eyes off Orton for a second, and if he does this Sunday the odds are he’ll lose the title all three men are desperately fighting for. Based on the actions of last week, Batista is sure to be looking for revenge again tonight when he arrives in Baltimore, but could it lead to more trouble for The Animal? Tune in to find out as all hell could break loose.

All hell did indeed break loose last week when The Big Show went after some revenge of his own against The Corporation, leaving a very dark cloud over his scheduled Hell in a Cell Loser Leaves Town match with John ‘Bradshaw’ Layfield’ at the Survivor Series. The carnage almost didn’t end there, as after chokeslamming J.B.L. on to the steel steps, it looked as if Mr. McMahon was going to be slammed off the stage by The World’s Largest Athlete.

Mr. McMahon begged for his life and Big Show took pity on him, choosing not to go through it despite the desperate pleas from the crowd. However it didn’t take long for us to find out afterwards that J.B.L. had been injured after the chokeslam on the steel, and the word is it is unlikely he will be able to compete inside Hell in a Cell at Survivor Series. Earlier on today we were advised that Mr. McMahon will be on Raw tonight and he will be giving us a ‘serious’ update on his son’s condition. Will he in fact be able to step inside Satan’s Structure with their careers hanging in the balance, and is this just another ruse to try & fool The Big Show?

The rivalry between the Raw & Smackdown superstars is seriously threatening to boil over, and last Friday night Team Raw defied Smackdown General Manager, Tazz’s instructions to stay away. Cody Rhodes & Joe Hennig were sent packing by Tazz but just seconds after Santino Marella won the last spot on Team Smackdown, Raw’s captain, Sheamus stormed the ring through the crowd and took the former Raw star’s head off with the deadly Brogue Kick.

The Intercontinental Champion was then chased back through the crowd by M.V.P. & Ron Killings, two men who once again showed up on Raw last Monday night, going after some retaliation against Rhodes & Hennig. You have to assume Team Smackdown will be looking to get back at Sheamus and the rest of Team Raw later on as the Battle of the Brands approaches. Make sure you check in on Raw tonight to see if we’ll see the stars of Friday night a few days early!

The Battle of the Brands isn’t the only traditional elimination match that will take place featuring both Raw & Smackdown superstars at Survivor Series as Raw’s very own Mr. Hollywood, The Miz will be leading his ‘awesome’ team in to battle against Team H.B.K. Over the past couple of weeks, The Heartbreak Kid has seen his team gain some serious momentum at the expense of Team Miz, and last Friday night was no different when Bryan Danielson made an impressive and more importantly a successful start to his WWE career by beating Jack Swagger. The frustration may well be getting to The Miz, and if he wants to lead his team his victory he has to turn that momentum around and very, very soon. Will he and the rest of Team Miz be able to do that tonight? Only time will tell.

This Sunday we’ll finally crown new World Tag Team Champions when three teams will collide in a triple threat match, the final of the tournament in which Christopher Daniels & Kaval continue to claim they should’ve won. Their frustration at having to face both the teams of Matt Hardy & Gregory Helms and Rey Mysterio & Mystico still grates them, and last week Daniels had the opportunity to let off some steam against Helms.

As he hopes & plans to this weekend, he came out on top with Mysterio & Mystico watching closely at ringside. We’ve learned earlier today that Eric Bischoff has made a triple threat match for tonight’s show which will feature one member of each team. It will see Matt Hardy take on Kaval and Mysterio’s rookie, team-mate and fellow Mexican, Mystico. Who will gain a significant boost going in to Survivor Series later on tonight? There’s only one way to find out and that’s to tune in to Raw live tonight from Baltimore!

Last Monday night saw Mia Rain overcome Gail Kim to earn herself a shot at Melina’s Women’s Championship next week live on Raw, but this week the new number one contender will team up with the Bella Twins to face Melina, Kim and Kim’s rookie, Shantelle Taylor in a six diva tag team match. Rain has the chance to send a direct statement of intent to Melina this week, but will she be able to do just that?

Another rookie in action tonight is Homicide when he takes on the former host of Raw, Zack Ryder. With decisions on the future of the rookies due any day now, will JTG’s protégé pick up the win and give himself a better chance of getting himself a permanent place on the Raw roster?

For all this more, don’t even think about missing this week’s Raw, the final Raw before this weekend’s Survivor Series. You simply can’t afford to miss it!

>Confirmed for Raw This Week<

Matt Hardy vs. Mystico vs. Kaval

Melina, Gail Kim & Shantelle Taylor vs. Mia Rain & The Bella Twins

Homicide
vs. Zack Ryder

Mr. McMahon’s Update on J.B.L.’s Condition

This past Friday Night on Impact we saw the team of Maryse and Aksana defeat RAW's Kelly Kelly and Eve, to become the new #1 Contenders for the Women's Tag Team Championships. It has been repported that Maryse and Aksana will be at RAW tonight. What will the agenda of the #1 Contenders be??

Also, last week we heard and saw Eric Biscoff and his Immortal group come to the RAW ring for the first time, and Bischoff told everyone that this week they will be making an in-ring impact. Earlier today on WWE.com it was announced that Randy Orton will be facing Immortal's Scott Steiner. Is this where Immortal will be making their impact?? If so, how??

And, the Barrett Barrage has been going on strong for the past weeks. Unfortunately Wade Barrett, due to personal problems in the family, has left for England and will not be present at tonight's event. But Wade Barrett will be making a statement via satellite, regarding his situation and regarding the Barrett Barrage. What will Barrett have to say??

All this and more, live tonight on Monday Night RAW.
This has now been posted. Come check it out
