Friday Night Smackdown Preview
August 19, 2011
Richmond Virginia

Richmond is in for another treat this Friday following Monday Night's Raw broadcast. General Manager Theodore Long has already announced the Main Event for the evening, where we will see a Summerslam rematch between two of Smackdown's juggernauts, "The World's Srongest Man" Mark Henry and "The Celtic Warrior" Sheamus. Their match at Summerslam ended in a count out victory for Henry after he ploughed Sheamus through the ring barricade. But we all know that this is not a good enough result for either of these two men. Will Mark Henry be able to finish the job this week? Or Will Sheamus manage to stop the unstoppable force?

Although the main talking point on the blue brand this week is Randy Orton winning the World Heavyweight Championship from Christian in a No Holds Barred Match. Christian is understandably quite pissed off due to losing the championship in a match he did not want to compete in and felt that he was at a disadvantage, due to Orton's mental instabilities. Unlike New WWE Champion Alberto Del Rio, Orton is not that fussed about making a grand address to the WWE Universe, but gives us the message that he "plans to make an impact no matter what". The Champ isn't scheduled to compete so what does he mean? As for "Captain Charisma", he will be facing off against one of Smackdown's most exciting stars, "The International Sensation" Sin Cara.

As we saw on Raw, Vladimir Kozlov made his return to the WWE to reform his team with Santino Marella, and they earned a count-out victory over the WWE Tag Team Champions David Otunga and Michael McGillicutty. Well WWE's "Odd Couple" are going to make their way over to Smackdown for one night to battle with two of Smackdown's resident tag teams, Jinder Mahal & The Great Khali, as well as The Usos, with the winners becoming #1 contenders to the WWE Tag Team Championships.

Ever since Beth Phoenix and Natalya joined together to form the dangerous duo, "The Divas of Doom", every Diva has been on notice. Beth picked up a big win on Raw against Eve, but on Smackdown, she is going to join forces with Natalya as they face two of the newest faces on the Divas scene, Kaitlyn and AJ.

Confirmed for Smackdown:

Summerslam Rematch: Mark Henry vs Sheamus

Christian vs Sin Cara
The Usos vs Santino Marella & Vladimir Kozlov vs The Great Khali & Jinder Mahal

Beth Phoenix & Natalya vs Kaitlyn & AJ

Plus: Randy Orton "makes an impact", Wade Barrett will be in action and New Intercontinental Champion Cody Rhodes issues a Special Open Challenge & more!

After a historic and ground shaking Survivor Series, the new era is about to kick off... Rosters, champions, staff, workers etc has been posted... What happened at Survivor Series?? Who's in which roster?? Who's the champions?? And what is the 2011 Invasion?? Come check it out Here's the preview for my first RAW.

Monday Night RAW | Preview | November 21, 2011

Quote:
It's been 36 days since the landscape of the world of proffesional wrestling changed drastictly, and since then it has been building up towards last night's historic Survivor Series. Last night was both the end of an era, an the beginning of a new.

Last night was not only historic because of the out of the ordinary Survivor Series, but also because of the following 2011 WWE Draft, which ended up shaking the entire foundation of World Wrestling Entertainment like never before.

Now with a whole new roster on Monday Nights, WWE Chairman Vince McMahon will announce who will be in charge of RAW as a new General Manager will be appointed. Who will run the new RAW??

Also, with former WWE Champion John Cena now out of action for at least six months, who will step up to the plate and challenge "The World's Strongest Man" on RAW??

And, with the former TNA superstars now being a part of WWE, what impact will the newly drafted RAW superstars make, if any, on their first night??

All that and more, live tonight on Monday Night RAW.

Universal Wrestling Collective
"Electrified" November 9th, 2011 Preview

HOW MUCH STING CAN A HACKSAW SAW IF A HACKSAW CAN SAW STING?

On October 30th, at "Battle Between Legends", the Icon Sting went through both Papa Shango and Chris Jericho to become the first ever Universal Wrestling Collective Legends Champion. A week-and-a-half later, will his reign be cut short by patriotic legend Hacksaw Jim Duggan? Sting's first title defense promises to be a memorable one! In addition, both high-flying hero AERO! and extreme bad ass Sabu will be back on "Electrified" in hard-hitting competition. As well, A.J. Styles is continuing his quest for heavyweight gold by stepping into the squared circle opposite Ring of Honor youngster Caprice Coleman. Californian golden boy Joey Ryan has also said he'll be attending tonight's program. He wants to see first hand what the UWC is all about...but will he be a mere observer, or will owner Berringer "T.A.H." Cross take him up on his offer of seeing in-ring action right out of the gate? There's only one way to find out! Be there tonight at 10:00pm (Eastern Standard Time) live in high definition on the Showtime Network! Don't miss the action!

Friday Night Smackdown Preview
Friday 31st October 2008
Long Beach Sports Arena
Long Beach, California

Last Friday night we saw John Cena unveil his team for the Survivor Series when he’ll lock horns with the World Heavyweight Champion, CM Punk, and now we know the four men he’s chosen to take in to battle against Cena next weekend. Last week we got a preview of that huge match where Cena will be fighting to earn himself a shot at Punk’s world title, and Cena himself was in for a shock. He went up against Shelton Benjamin and found himself on the wrong end of a defeat when Chris Jericho marked his return to Smackdown by venting the same frustration as Punk that he’s been handed the opportunity he has by Tazz. The self proclaimed best in the world played his part in Cena’s defeat, and barely an hour later Punk told WWE.com that both Jericho & Benjamin would join himself, his rookie, Alberto Del Rio-Ramirez & Edge on his team against Cena at Survivor Series.

We also saw Punk & Del Rio-Ramirez in action against two members of Team Cena in Bobby Lashley & Charlie Haas, and the in-form duo kept their winning streak going by picking up a surprise victory after Haas made the World Champion’s rookie to tap out to the Haas of Pain. Elsewhere Edge was in action against the United States Champion & King of the Ring, Matt Sydal, and after demanding & failing to get a match with Edge earlier in the evening, Christian made his presence felt and brought a halt to the contest that saw Edge awarded the victory by disqualification. The fire has been well & truly lit between these two teams and with just over a week to go until they collide at Survivor Series fireworks are to be expected this Friday night in Long Beach.

They aren’t the only two teams who’ll be colliding next Sunday night as Shawn Michaels will lead his troops in to war against the team The Miz has called ‘The Awesome Team’. Just like John Cena, The Heartbreak Kid last week unveiled the final members of his team, doing so after one of them, Elijah Burke defeated a member of Team Miz in Jack Swagger. The All-American American will be in action again this week as he takes on the debuting Bryan Danielson, the final member of Team HBK. Michaels told the world that he trained Danielson and called him one of the best in the world today. It looks like we & Swagger in particular will find out just how good he is this week. Will it be a winning debut for Danielson to keep Team HBK’s momentum going in to Survivor Series?

The final place on Team Smackdown for the Battle of the Brands will be decided this week when Santino Marella takes on the Cruiserweight Champion, Johnny Jeter. The two of them have had their issues as of late, and a couple of weeks ago Jeter played a part in Santino’s elimination in the Battle Royal to determine the number one contender for his cruiserweight title. Santino won’t have the chance to take Jeter’s title but he does have another opportunity awaiting him, and if he can defeat Jeter this week he must surely find his way in to contention for a title opportunity. We also saw Smackdown superstars invade Raw again on Monday night and Raw’s team captain, Sheamus swore he’d be on hand this Friday night in Long Beach. Will we saw Team Raw look to get even? Tune in to find out.

Two of the men who were added to Team Smackdown after last week’s show have been thrown in to action again this week, however this time they’ll be on the same team again instead of fighting each other. Paul London & Brian Kendrick went at it last week in a very competitive match, and after all the problems they’ve had this year, some may see it as a mistake by Tazz to put them on Team Smackdown and on the same team this week. We’ll find out whether it was a mistake or not when they meet The Empire, and they too were busy making an impression last week when they vowed to become the next WWE Tag Team Champions, giving The UK Pack a piece of their mind, not that it went down well with the champions who were looking to resolve their own problems that have seen them struggle to get along recently. It sure promises to be an eventful week in California!

Last week saw J-Red challenge Johnny Jeter for the Cruiserweight Championship, and he looked like he was on his way to becoming the new champion until his mentor, Chavo Guerrero ensured that didn’t happen. Moments later Red went after his mentor and went at it with him backstage until they were pulled apart. Will Red be gunning for him again this week?

Michelle McCool got a close look at the Diva’s Champion, Beth Phoenix in action last week when The Glamazon made light work of Jillian Hall. This week it will be McCool’s chance to make an impression as she gears up for her title match against Beth. Will she be able to match up to The Glamazon’s level?

With just over a week to go until the Survivor Series, anything can and probably will happen when the stars of Smackdown roll in to Long Beach this Friday night. Make sure you don’t miss all the thrills & spills and tune in live to make sure you don’t miss a thing!

>Confirmed for This Week on Smackdown<

Winner Joins Team Smackdown for Battle of the Brands at Survivor Series
Non-Title Match
Santino Marella vs. Johnny Jeter

Plus

Bryan Danielson vs. Jack Swagger

Paul London & Brian Kendrick vs. The Empire

The number one contender for the WWE Diva’s Championship, Michelle McCool in action

~Friday Night Smackdown~
March 23rd, 2007
Cleveland, Ohio

Although Wrestlemania XXIII is now just NINE days away, instead of looking forward all eyes are cast back to the chaotic and disturbing actions from the previous week from two of Smackdown's most villainous characters.

Seven nights ago, Edge opened Smackdown to the sound of rumours and whispers that his refusal to engage in any physical contact with World Heavyweight Champion Batista wasn't mind games as Edge claimed, but instead was a clear sign of Edge's fear of 'The Animal' ahead of their Wrestlemania clash. However, we ended last week's show with Edge having finally silenced his doubters after he assaulted Batista with a sickening one man con-chair-to. But in doing so has Edge simply enraged 'The Animal', prompting Batista to appear tonight on Smackdown hell-bent on revenge? 'The Animal' is scheduled to compete tonight with none other than Mr. Kennedy himself in a No Way Out rematch, but Batista will be on the hunt for 'The Rated-R Superstar', and perhaps it will become apparent that Edge has bitten off a little more than he can chew.

And speaking of Kennedy, he is perhaps the most hated man in all of the WWE right now after the heinous assault of Ric Flair's son Reid that we all witnessed on Raw. The disturbing footage that saw Kennedy go to the Harley Race Wrestling Academy to attack young Reid brought 'The Nature Boy' to tears as he stood helplessly in the ring, watching the attack unfold. But the most shocking revelation of all was that of Kennedy's accomplice, Flair's other son David. Tonight, Kennedy has vowed to answer a few questions in the first ever edition of what Kennedy has called 'The Open Mic'. And the first guest on this new talk show? Who else could it be than David Flair himself. What on earth could David offer as an explanation for his actions last Monday? And what else could Kennedy say that hasn't already mentally tortured his Wrestlemania opponent, Ric Flair?

Last week, The Undertaker gained the upperhand over his Wrestlemania opponent, Umaga, showing that perhaps 'The Samoan Bulldozer' does indeed have a level of weakness never before seen in the WWE. Tonight, 'The Deadman' competes in a rare Smackdown match as he takes on 'The Impact Player' Test, the two big men set to do battle as Undertaker looks to send another message to 'The Samoan Savage'. But after Undertaker's attack last week, Umaga will no doubt be looking to even the score this week, as both men try to prove themselves ahead of their titanic "Streak vs. Streak" match at Wrestlemania XXIII.

With the eight participants in this year's Money in the Bank Ladder Match now confirmed, the four Smackdown competitors, Chris Benoit, Kane, King Booker and Montel Vontavious Porter are set to compete in tag team action. Booker and 'MVP' have engaged in a partnership over recent weeks, both men helping the other through their qualifying matches and then assaulting Benoit after he earned the right to go to Wrestlemania. However, cracks have started appearing in the team, with Booker and 'MVP' arguing with each other as they prepared to attack Kane last week. This allowed 'The Big Red Machine' to stage a comeback, planting both men with a double chokeslam. Can Booker and 'MVP' stay on the same page long enough to earn the win tonight? Or will Kane and Benoit extract a measure of revenge over the two men who have targeted them in recent weeks?

Elsewhere, Santino Marella will lead The Full Blooded Italians into six man action with The Extremists, Bryan Danielson will meet the United States Champion Finlay in a match that both Matt Hardy and Cruiserweight Champion Gregory Helms will both be watching very closely, and after Shelton Benjamin beat Brian Kendrick on Raw, Paul London will look to even the score for The Hooligans as he takes on Charlie Haas of the World's Greatest Tag Team. All this and more on the penultimate episode of Friday Night Smackdown before we hit Wrestlemania XXIII!

Confirmed Matches:

Non Title Match: Batista vs. Mr. Kennedy

The Undertaker vs. Test
Chris Benoit and Kane vs. King Booker and Montel Vontavious Porter
Non Title Match: Finlay vs. Bryan Danielson

Paul London vs. Charlie Haas
The Full Blooded Italians vs. The Extremists

Plus!! Mr. Kennedy hosts the first ever edition of 'The Open Mic' with special guest, David Flair!

Friday Night Impact | Preview | November 25, 2011

Quote:
It's been 40 days in the making now. 40 days of debating and without a doubt 40 days of excitement.Total Nonstop Action now officially becomes a weekly part of World Wrestling Entertainment, and it all happens in TNA's own playground, the Impact Zone.

After this past Sunday Night at Survivor Series, Kurt Angle has announced that he will come forward and let everyone know why he is indeed the right man to march Impact into WWE as it's selfproclaimed leader.

And speaking of TNA World Heavyweight Champion Kurt Angle, will we find out who his next challenger will be??

Also, on RAW Vice-President of the Knockouts and Divas Division Traci Brooks announced a Mini-Tournament to find the new #1 Contenders for the Women's Tag Team Championships. The team of Kelly Kelly and Eve defeated The Bella Twins to be the first to advance to next week's final. Tonight we will find their opponent. Who will be in competition?? And who will advance??

And, the new Impact General Manager Sting has promised to open the first edition ever of Impact Wrestling on WWE territory with a bang, as he has announced that he will make two big announcements. What will they be??

All this and more as Impact goes live for the first time on Friday Nights.
