~Friday Night SmackDown~
May 25th, 2007
Save Mart Center
Fresno, California

Five nights ago SmackDown played host to the Judgment Day pay per view, a night which saw two new champions crowned, tons of controversy, and perhaps one of the most shocking and dominating returns in WWE history.

Four men stepped into the ring at Judgment Day to do battle for the World Heavyweight Championship, with Batista, Edge, Chris Benoit and Mr. Kennedy engaging in a Fatal Four Match which saw all four men push themselves to the limit in a quest for the gold. But the biggest impact of the night was made by a fifth man, the suspended Umaga, who stormed the arena and laid out Batista, Kennedy and Benoit just as ‘The Animal’ seemed set to end the match. It was ‘The Ultimate Opportunist’ Edge who would take advantage, shocking the world as he put Batista away to become the new World Heavyweight Champion. All four men are scheduled to be on SmackDown tonight, but in what state they’ll be in is very much still up in the air. No doubt Edge will be prepared for a night of gloating and celebration, but at some point tonight, one or more of the three men that suffered at the hands of Umaga will no doubt have something to say to the newly crowned champion.

The second title to change hands at Judgment Day was the Cruiserweight Championship, where Bryan Danielson finally saw off Gregory Helms in a match which had to be restarted due to the interference of SmackDown commentator ‘JBL’. It remains to be seen what punishment General Manager Teddy Long has in store for Layfield, but for both Danielson and Helms, they’ll no doubt be quickly turning their attentions to the upcoming King of the Ring tournament. With Saturday Night’s Main Event just eight days away, both men will be looking to earn their place in the tournament proper over the next two weeks. Tonight, it’s Helms’ turn as he takes on Brian Kendrick, while the United States Champion Matt Hardy goes against Kane in the clear match of the round. Both Hardy and Kane had successful nights at Judgment Day, with Hardy retaining his title against The Miz, while Kane survived a tough encounter with Finlay, but only one man can advance tonight and book their spot in Boston in just eight days’ time.

It was also a successful night at Judgment Day for The Hooligans, albeit one shrouded in controversy. Near the end of their title defence against The New Breed, it appeared that Brian Kendrick grabbed a handful of Elijah Burke’s tights in order to help seal the champions’ victory. No doubt The New Breed will have something to say about the situation, but what about what this might to The Hooligans? The champions have had a strained relationship as of late, and it appeared that Paul London had no idea of the short cut Kendrick took to victory, although it certainly looked like Ashley saw it all. What could happen if London happened to find out about what Kendrick did, and how could it affect the champions… or even affect Kendrick’s King of the Ring match tonight?

Also scheduled for tonight’s show, Rey Mysterio makes his in-ring return to Friday Night SmackDown as he takes on The Miz, The Extremists look to bounce back from their defeat against The Coachman Coalition as they take on The Full Blooded Italians, and newcomer Doug Williams makes his WWE debut as he takes on Jamie Noble. And of course, we’ll no doubt be hearing from Mr. Kennedy and The Coachman Coalition as they discuss their respective nights at Judgment Day, we’ll also hear from the new Cruiserweight Champion Bryan Danielson, while Teddy Long will no doubt be keen to address the mayhem that occurred last Sunday night. All this and more as we experience the fallout from Judgment Day as Friday Night SmackDown continues the countdown to the King of the Ring.

Confirmed Matches:

Rey Mysterio vs. The Miz

King of the Ring Qualifying Matches – Round of 16
Brian Kendrick vs. Gregory Helms
Matt Hardy vs. Kane

The Extremists vs. The Full Blooded Italians
Doug Williams vs. Jamie Noble

Hot off the heels of Destination X, the road to Lockdown begins this Saturday on iMPACT!

We will hear from the NWA World Heavyweight Champion Christian Cage, who successfully defended his title against both Jeff Jarrett AND Monty Brown this past Sunday at Destination X! What will Cage have to say on his victory, and could he have words for 'The Monster' Abyss, who has been craving a shot at the NWA World Heavyweight Championship for the past month?

'The Fallen Angel' Christopher Daniels captured the X Division Championship for the second time last Sunday at Destination X, defeating AJ Styles and Samoa Joe in a thrilling Ultimate X match! This week, Alex Shelley, Chris Sabin, Jay Lethal, Matt Sydal, Petey Williams and Sonjay Dutt will clash in a six-man elimination match, with the winner challenging Daniels for the gold next week on iMPACT!.

As for the former X Division Champion, Samoa Joe, he will be in action against Matt Bentley!

As mentioned previously, Monty Brown was unsuccessful in his challenge for the NWA World Heavyweight Championship at Destination X. This week, 'The Alpha Male' will look to get back on track as he faces Kenny King! Can Brown return to winning ways? And what is the status of his relationship with Jeff Jarrett, which seemingly imploded in the ring last Sunday?

Plus, The James Gang face The Diamonds In The Rough! Both teams lost in six-man tag team action at Destination X, as we saw BG and Kip James turn on their partner, Sean Waltman after their loss to The Latin American Exchange, and Simon Diamond place David Young on PROBATION in the group! Which duo will emerge victorious?

Tune in THIS SATURDAY at 11/10c on SPIKE TV!

3/25 iMPACT! Preview

A championship is on the line this Saturday on iMPACT!

'The Fallen Angel' Christopher Daniels makes his first defense of the TNA X Division Championship after winning it for the second time at Destination X, putting the gold on the line against Generation Next's Alex Shelley! Shelley won a six-man elimination match last week to earn this opportunity. Can he capitalize and become the new champion, or will Daniels retain?

We have received word that Jeff Jarrett intends to "call out" Monty Brown! Jarrett has tried desperately to keep his relationship with 'The Alpha Male' Monty Brown intact in recent weeks, but at Destination X they came to blows during the NWA World Heavyweight Championship match. What will Jarrett have to say to Brown?

Also, The James Gang face Ron 'The Truth' Killings and Sean Waltman! Both former friends of BG and Kip James, Killings and Waltman feel wronged by The James Gang. Which team will emerge victorious?

Plus, 'The Phenomenal' AJ Styles is in action, as he faces 'The Prince of Punk' Shannon Moore!

Tune in THIS SATURDAY at 11/10c on SPIKE TV!

MONDAY NIGHT RAW
Monday May 12, 2014
Greenville, South Carolina

** 5-POINT PREVIEW **

WILL THE SHIELD END UP “SCRAMBLED” ON RAW?
With the Championship Scramble match at Payback now set with four names, a fifth name is destined to be added tonight as the three members of The Shield – Dean Ambrose, Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins – face each other in a Triple Threat match set up by C.O.O. Triple H last week. Whether the Game is deliberately trying to set The Shield up to implode from within or simply trying to ensure the very best quality of challenger to Daniel Bryan’s WWE World Heavyweight Championship, it is going to be a very interesting main event as we see the three team-mates compete against each other for the first time ever in the WWE. On SMACKDOWN, they defiantly predicted that they would have an amazing match, the best man would win and then they would get on with their quest for justice; the reality is that the prospect of the WWE World Heavyweight Championship can do funny things to relationships as we have witnessed in previous weeks with Evolution. Which member of The Shield will qualify for the Championship Scramble? And will The Shield’s existence be threatened here tonight from within?

INJURY WOES FOR DANIEL BRYAN AS HE ENTERS THE “HALL OF PAIN” …
SMACKDOWN saw the WWE World Heavyweight Champion demand another match with the World’s Strongest Man, Mark Henry, after he was defeated on RAW last week. Unfortunately for Bryan, the presence of Brie Bella in his corner again proved problematic as Henry used her to his advantage and took his chance to hit the World’s Strongest Slam to get the 3 count that qualifies him for the Championship Scramble at Payback. Although Bryan has warned against his opponents involving his wife in their problems, it continued on SMACKDOWN and now Bryan must be questioning whether or not to allow Brie to accompany him to the ring particularly after Henry slammed him through a table to close SMACKDOWN. With injuries heavily rumoured for the champion, it will be interesting to hear from Bryan tonight as he sets his sights on Payback and defending his title against Henry, Batista and Orton to name but three.

WILL RVD BE OUT FOR ANSWERS TONIGHT?
After their chilling destruction of John Cena back at Extreme Rules, Bray Wyatt and his family last week warned that their crusade to remove the liars and corruption from the WWE was far from complete and it appears that Rob Van Dam is their next victim after he was attacked post match last week on RAW. RVD has been medically cleared to return to RAW tonight and is sure to be demanding answers from the Wyatt Family; question is, will he get them? Or will the Wyatt Family continue to wreak havoc on the WWE?

UNITED STATES CHAMPIONSHIP ON THE LINE TONIGHT!
After winning the Battle Royal last week on RAW by eliminating Cesaro, Big Show tonight cashes in his chance to become the United States Championship when he faces the man he once held Tag Team Championships with, The Miz. After winning the US Championship from Dean Ambrose a few weeks ago, The Miz has been running from Big Show but tonight he has no choice; he must face him with the title on the line. After warming up with a win over Great Khali on SMACKDOWN, Miz claimed he was not scared of Show but ended up knocked cold by the giant afterwards. With the champion seemingly the underdog, can Miz find a way to defeat Show and retain his title? Or will he be knocked cold as we see a new United States Champion?

NUMBER 1 CONTENDERS …
Also on RAW tonight, we will see a new #1 contender for the Intercontinental Championship of Bad News Barrett determined as well as the next Quarter Final in the Tag Team Championship #1 contender tournament. Dolph Ziggler, Fandango and Sheamus – the latter two having their issues on SMACKDOWN this past week – meet in a Triple Threat to determine who will challenge Barrett for the title at Payback. In the tournament, RybAxel, who’ve looked good of late and were unlucky not to take the Tag Team Championships at Extreme Rules, face Santino Marella and Zack Ryder as they look to secure a Semi Final spot. Who will be the next challenger for the Intercontinental Championship? And which teams will join Mysterio and Sin Cara and Jinder Mahal and Heath Slater in the next round of the tournament?

** CONFIRMED FOR RAW TONIGHT **

Alexander Rusev vs. Alex Riley
Big Show vs. The Miz © (US Championship)
Cesaro vs. Cody Rhodes
Dolph Ziggler vs. Fandango vs. Sheamus (#1 contender match for IC)
RybAxel vs. Santino Marella & Zack Ryder

PLUS

Dean Ambrose vs. Roman Reigns vs. Seth Rollins

Re: The BTB Advertisement Thread

(Sorry this is so late, actually been fairly busy and something on Raw recently almost made me quit this all together, in fact it's a similar reason to why I quit my previous thread. Nonetheless, I'm here now and I'm hyped for my first show.)

The long awaited debut of WWA Warzone is upon us! Live from the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City on ESPN2, the debut of the newest revolution in pro wrestling is here!

The first two matches in the WWA World Championship tournament will take place. No one knows whose name will come first, all we know is that four of these men will have their first match in the tournament: Kurt Angle, Tyler Black, Rob Van Dam, CM Punk, Chris Jericho, Batista, Samoa Joe, or AJ Styles. Who will take the first step toward history?

A huge battle royal will take place between 12 of the WWA's best, with the final two survivors being the two competitors in the match to determine the first ever WWA Pure Wrestling Champion at WWA The Beginning. Which two competitors will outlast the rest and head to WWA's first ever mega event?

The first of four qualifying matches for the four-way ladder match to determine the first ever WWA Tag Team Champions will take place when The Motor City Machine Guns, Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin take on The World's Greatest Tag Team, Charlie Haas and Shelton Benjamin. Despite being two of the best and most exciting tag teams of the past decade, the two team have never competed against each other. Now comes their first encounter and the stakes could never be higher.

The first champion in WWA's history will be crowned as a Fatal 4-Way match will take place to determine the first ever WWA Light Heavyweight Champion. Who will take home the gold? Will it be "The Generic Luchador" El Generico, "The Future of Flight" Ricochet, "The Man that Gravity Forgot" PAC, or Japan's own Kota Ibushi?

Confirmed for Warzone

Two Matches in the WWA World Championship Tournament

Battle Royal to determine the two participants in the first ever WWA Pure Wrestling Championship match

Qualifying Match
The Motor City Machine Guns vs. The World's Greatest Tag Team

WWA Light Heavyweight Championship
PAC vs. El Generico vs. Kota Ibushi vs. Ricochet
