Monday Night Raw Preview:

Last week, Armando Estrada confirmed that his Samoan Bulldozer, Umaga, will cash in his Money in the Bank title shot at the main event of Summerslam - despite having World Heavyweight Champion in a perfect position, out cold, at the close of last weeks show. The main event for the biggest Summerslam of all time is now set ... or is it?? Rumours are swirling that Raw General Manager is unhappy at the title match being set already, ruining his own plans for the road towards Wembley Stadium ... and indeed, Eric Bischoff is set to address the Raw roster at the beginning of this weeks show. Just what does the General Manager have in store, and how will it affect the scheduled Christian vs Umaga showdown at Summerslam??

One championship match that WILL definitely go ahead though is the World Tag Team Championship Match - this week on Raw. MNM must face up to The British Lions after conspiring to remove the British duo from the title matches at Vengeance and the following night on Raw, with help from their mysterious Entourage. After escaping Raw last week in Phoenix with the titles in tact having defeated Straight Edge, MNM are once again thrown into the deep end, with not only revenge, but championship gold on the mind of Burchill and Smith.

Another championship picture that will become much clearer after this week will be the Intercontinental Title, as Matt Hardy and William Regal meet in a rematch from the King of the Ring semi finals, for the opportunity to face Shelton Benjamin. Hardy's history with Benjamin is well documented over the last couple of months, and the North Carolinian will be desperate to book another shot at the Black Diamond, but the tough veteran from Blackpool has been enjoying somewhat of a resurgence in recent months, and will undoubtedly fancy his chances of making a run at the prestigious IC Title belt once again.

For Kurt Angle, it's a bittersweet homecoming, having expected to arrive this week in Pittsburgh with the World Heavyweight Championship in his possession. However, despite not being involved in the decision, Angle found himself on the losing end of last weeks triple threat match, as Christian surprised Mister Kennedy for the three count. With a title match seemingly no longer in his short term future, just what is next for Angle?? And, having lost his second consecutive title match, has Mister Kennedy pushed himself to the bottom of the list for the forseeable future?? Having spent the last two months chasing the elusive World Title, will Kennedy now be forced to change his goals too?? Both Angle and Kennedy perhaps now find themselves in the same state of limbo that John Cena is currently struggling in ... all three out of the championship picture ... on the outside ... looking in. Whilst Cena must 'work his way' back up the ladder, will Angle or Kennedy be forced to do the same??

Also, following the shocking conclusion to last nights Smackdown Brand PPV; The Great American Bash, Raw (and currently Smackdown) GM Eric Bischoff will show video footage AFTER the PPV went off the air, and the shocking developments surrounding JBL after he was buried alive by The Undertaker. Have we heard the famous 'Longhorn' and stock exchange bells for the last time??

And, having had a week to recover - and think - after his beating at the hands of Umaga, Christian will be in Pittsburgh, and the World Heavyweight Champion will surely address his scheduled opponent at Summerslam. Does Christian truly believe he can be the man to finally break the 'streak' forged by the Samoan Bulldozer over the last twelve months?? We'll find out on Raw.

Confirmed Matches
World Tag Team Title Match - MNM vs The British Lions
Intercontinental Championship #1 Contender Match - William Regal vs Matt Hardy
Victoria & Gail Kim vs Beth Phoenix & Maryse
Plus; John Cena is in action
And; Christian Speaks Out

Preview

World Championship Wrestling's weekly broadcasts of Nitro are back, the only things you fans must remember is that Nitro is no longer on Monday Nights and has been shifted to Wednesday Nights. Nitro returns to network television for the first time in nearly three months and you bet a lot of wrestlers have a lot of scores to settle. Two superstars battled it out for the WCW World Heavyweight Championship on the WCW Night of Champions. Scott Steiner was unsuccessful in defending the title and lost it to Booker T but tonight, Scott Steiner is cashing in his rematch clause and Eric Bischoff has given his blessing so for one night only, Wednesday Nitro hosts a WCW World Heavyweight Championship match and it will be Booker T defending against Scott Steiner. Who will prevail and walk out as the champion? That is something you will have to tune in for.

Speaking of Booker T, WCW.com has learned that Eric Bischoff is to address the current situation Booker is in due to the fact that he currently also holds the WCW United States Heavyweight Championship. Eric Bischoff will make an announcement as to what we can expect from Booker T as double champion in WCW.

In addition to this match we are also being treated to tag team action as the current WCW Cruiserweight Tag Team Champions, The Filthy Animals are looking to continue collecting gold as they face the tam of Totally Buff where the winners will go on to face the WCW Tag Team Champions in the near future, this is one the WCW fans will not want to miss!

Also expect to see stars like Ric Flair, Jeff Jarrett, Shane Helms, Sean O'Haire, Chuck Palumbo, Crowbar & many, many more.

Nitro is live at 8PM Eastern. 'The Professor' Mike Tenay & Tony Schiavone are calling all the great action for what is sure to be an eventful night, don't miss out!

~Friday Night Smackdown~
March 9th, 2007
Wichita, Kansas

The first Friday Night Smackdown after Saturday Night's Main Event has arrived, with the whispers around the locker room regarding Edge and his apparent fear of the World Heavyweight Champion Batista continuing to grow in intensity. Edge and Mr. Kennedy teamed to take on Batista and Matt Hardy last Saturday night, but there was no physical contact between champion and challenger during the match, with Edge actively avoiding being in the ring with 'The Animal'. Indeed, Edge ultimately walked out on the match, leaving Kennedy behind to suffer a thunderous Batista Bomb, handing 'The Animal' the victory. The rumours and whispers will no doubt have grown in volume since last week, and with both Edge and Batista scheduled to appear on the show tonight, perhaps that first physical contact between the two is inching ever closer.

As for Mr. Kennedy, after suffering the defeat at the start of the broadcast, Kennedy returned later on during Saturday Night's Main Event, attacking Ric Flair and in the process costing Flair and his partner Carlito the World Tag Team Championships. Last Monday on Raw, Flair vowed he was coming to Smackdown tonight to call Kennedy out. With 'The Nature Boy' finally in the building, we could have the first face to face between the pair since the Royal Rumble, the night when this explosive rivalry all kicked off. What could Flair have to say? And will Kennedy finally get his wish of a match with Flair, especially with Wrestlemania on the horizon?

And the final member of that Saturday Night's Main Event tag team match, Matt Hardy, his fate is now clear. It's he and Finlay one on one at Wrestlemania XXIII for the United States Championship. After defending the title in the brutal Belfast Brawl against Chris Benoit, Finlay will no doubt be watching on intently as Hardy faces Test tonight, with Hardy looking to send an early message to his Wrestlemania opponent by continuing to build on the great 2007 he's had thus far. As for Benoit, he's involved in a Money in the Bank Qualifying Match against F.B.I. leader Santino Marella. While last week Marella was full of confidence that he would make it to 'Mania, he might not be quite as sure once he sees who his opponent is tonight.

Umaga continued his dominance of the Smackdown roster as he saw off Kane in convincing fashion at Saturday Night's Main Event. it was however the shocking return of Paul Bearer to the WWE that garnered the attention, especially as Bearer brought The Undertaker back from the darkside to confront Umaga and Armando Alejandro Estrada. Seen for the first time since No Way Out, 'Taker and Umaga battled back and forth, but it took the help of Kane for Undertaker to gain the upperhand. No one has managed to stop Umaga thus far, and at Saturday Night's Main Event, it appeared that even The Undertaker was no match for 'The Samoan Bulldozer' in a one on one situation. Tonight, John Bradshaw Layfield will conduct an in ring interview with Umaga and Estrada, but no doubt The Undertaker will have his say as the two continue to build towards their epic showdown at Wrestlemania XXIII.

Also tonight, Bryan Danielson will take on one of the men he beat at Saturday Night's Main Event as he squares off with Chavo Guerrero, one half of the WWE Tag Team Champions Brian Kendrick steps into the ring with Bluebloods member Paul Burchill, while we also hear from The Miz on his Wrestlemania aspirations. It's a jam packed edition of Friday Night Smackdown, one you really won't want to miss!!

Confirmed Matches

Monday Night Raw's Ric Flair will call out Mr. Kennedy!

Money in the Bank Qualifying Match: Chris Benoit vs. Santino Marella
Matt Hardy vs. Test
Bryan Danielson vs. Chavo Guerrero
Brian Kendrick vs. Paul Burchill

John Bradshaw Layfield will conduct an in ring interview with Umaga and Armando Alejandro Estrada

Plus! Batista, Edge, King Booker, Montel Vontavious Porter and The Miz are all scheduled to appear!!

Monday Night Raw Preview ~ 07/04/05 ~ Sacramento, CA

With the Draft Lottery finally at its conclusion, one can only hope that the anxiety that has recently emerged amongst the Raw locker room will quickly vanquish as Raw makes its way to Sacramento for a show full of questions, and hopefully, answers.

The biggest question on everyone's mind has been regarding the whereabouts of 'The Game', Triple H, who has yet to be seen since losing to Batista in the Hell in a Cell Match for the World Heavyweight Championship at Vengeance. It has been confirmed by a source of whom is very close with Triple H that he will not be on Raw tonight, and by the way things are looking, will not be on Raw for a long period of time. The reasons for this hiatus are unknown, but Eric Bischoff is seemingly becoming angrier and angrier that one of his top superstars has simply walked out on him when he is under more pressure than ever from Mr. McMahon.

Last week, Kurt Angle challenged Batista for the World Heavyweight Championship in what would turn out to be Batista's last match on Raw as he was sent to SmackDown this past Friday in the Draft Lottery. Angle came up on the losing end, however, as when he tried to take advantage of an unconscious referee by use of a steel chair, Shawn Michaels ran down to the ring and delivered some Sweet Chin Music, allowing Batista to eventually hit the Batista Bomb and retain his prestigious World Title. At a house show this past weekend, Angle reportedly caused two different matches to end in No Contests as he attacked all participants in a fit of rage over what happened last Monday night. Will Kurt Angle be able to get his revenge on Shawn Michaels for ruining one of the greatest opportunities of Angle's illustrious career? Or will Shawn Michaels be able to justify his actions and presumably get away with murder?

It's no secret that Edge and Kane have been nothing short of enemies in recent weeks. After Lita betrayed her then-husband, Kane, and joined forces with Edge in the finals of the Gold Rush Tournament back in May, these two men have been at each other's throats. Kane's win at Vengeance seemed to have made a mark, that is, until Edge Speared both the Big Red Machine and the Nature Boy, Ric Flair, before following it up by knocking Kane unconscious with his trusty Money in the Bank briefcase. Tonight, Edge has requested time in the ring, and this is a prime example of when answers are wanted as Edge is expected to explain his actions from last week and where his and Kane's hatred towards each other is headed.

When The Big Show joined Raw last week in the draft, he was more than eager to try and be the first one to break out of Chris Masters' infamous Masterlock. When the moment arrived, it appeared as if fear, or even realization, overwhelmed Masters, who tried to attack the Big Show with a steel chair, only to be dropped with a massive Chokeslam. Tonight, both men will head their separate ways as Chris Masters goes one-on-one with another big man, Viscera, while The Big Show takes on Chavo Guerrero in a battle of the draftees. Although both men seem to have some issues with each other that have yet to be resolved, tonight could prove to be a perfect opportunity to send the other a message, assuming they can manage to defeat their respective opponents.

Rene Dupree and Sylvain Grenier were proud to announce that they have reunited as La Resistance, and more importantly, plan on taking the World Tag Team Championships from the Superheroes, Rosey and The Hurricane. Tonight, Sylvain will compete in singles action against Tajiri, who has recently reunited himself with new draftee Kenzo Suzuki. In a singles match that will ultimately have a strong impact on the tag team division in the long run, who will pull through with a victory?

The Intercontinental Champion, Carlito, has been confirmed to compete tonight. Although his opponent has not been confirmed, three things regarding the match and his opponent have been; The match should be easy, it's not a title defense, and it's not against Shelton Benjamin, who's been dying to get his hands on Carlito after title losses to Carlito at Vengeance and on Raw a couple of weeks ago. With Shelton Benjamin currently not being considered by Eric Bischoff as a worthy contender, who will step up to the plate and be the next to challenge Carlito for the coveted Intercontinental Championship?

As well, tonight marks the beginning of the 2005 Raw Diva Search, which will see eight young women battling it out for $250,000, and more importantly, a 1-year contract on Raw. Apparently, this year's batch of aspiring divas is even more determined and competitive than last year's, and just what exactly these girls are willing to put themselves through to become a Raw diva remains to be seen.

Chris Jericho is expected to be present at Raw, although he has yet to be booked in a match, and after emerging unsuccessful in two opportunities to capture the WWE Championship, one has to wonder where his career will head next.

Tune into Raw tonight at 9/8 CT on Spike TV to catch all this and more!

Confirmed Matches

Chris Masters vs. Viscera
Chavo Guerrero vs. The Big Show
Sylvain Grenier vs. Tajiri
Carlito in non-title action

World Championship Wrestling
Wednesday Nitro
June 20th, 2001
Preview

World Championship Wrestling hosts another exciting edition of Wednesday Night Nitro and judging by what went down during the closing minutes of last week will be one the fans don't want to miss out on.

Yes, as we just alluded to, the closing minutes of last weeks show featured Scott Steiner seemingly closing in on winning the WCW World Heavyweight Championship only to be denied due to interference by Diamond Dallas Page who entered the ring and hit Scott Steiner with the devastating Diamond Cutter, Steiner was named the victor but it was by way of disqualification so the title remained with Booker T. It is fully expected that Scott Steiner will have some harsh words for Dallas Page for costing him the WCW World title and should an altercation between the two WCW performers come about, it's sure to send fireworks flying in the air.

But, last week wasn't just about the WCW World Championship scene, oh no. We were also informed that Booker T was stripped of the WCW United States Championship and that left us without a champion but, Eric Bischoff soon fixed that problem by announcing an 8 Man Tournament. On tonights Nitro, we see two out of the four inaugural matches take place as Nature Boy Ric Flair takes on The Wall & Lance Storm does battle with Shawn Stasiak. Ric Flair is certainly hoping that he can advance in the tournament and hopefully face Jeff Jarrett in the finals after last weeks altercation. Tune in to witness who advances and who is left a broken man when they are defeated and knocked out of the tournament.

But wait, there's more. The team of Totally Buff (Lex Luger & Buff Bagwell) had a run in with each other last week, mainly caused by their manager, Miss Elizabeth. WCW.com has been told by Buff Bagwell himself that the team have things back on track, including Mizz Elizabeth, and are ready to come back from not only their loss but their problems from last week as they team to face opponents not known by WCW.com.

And finally for this preview, last week the WCW Cruiserweight Champion Sugar Shane Helms fell victim to a serious dose of mind games from an unknown man or woman following his match with Chavo Guerrero Jr. This week, Shane Helms looks to try and get his head back on track as he faces former 3 Count Member, Shannon Moore in a non-title capacity. But, should Shane Helms lose this match, what does that mean for Moore? will he be next in line with a shot at the Cruiserweight Championship? Only time will tell.

Also expect to see stars like Chuck Palumbo, Sean O'Haire, Jeff Jarrett, The WCW World Heavyweight Champion; Booker T, The Filthy Animals and more!

Tune in to WCW Wednesday Nitro at 8PM as The Professor Mike Tenay & Tony Schiavone call the exciting action.

Confirmed Matches:

Non-Title: Sugar Shane Helms vs. Shannon Moore
WCW United States Championship Tournament Match: Ric Flair vs. The Wall
WCW United States Championship Tournament Match: Lance Storm vs. Shawn Stasiak
Totally Buff (w/Miss Elizabeth) vs. Mystery Opponents

Friday Night Smackdown Preview

Smackdown rolls around from Worcester this Friday night fresh from a chaotic night this past Sunday at Judgment Day.

John Cena survived a hellacious Last Man Standing match against JBL to retain the WWE championship. Cena showed the heart, the passion and the will to win of a true champion, proving JBL’s claims he was a ‘fluke’ champion to be completely wrong. This Friday we are sure to find out who will be next in line for a shot at Cena and the WWE title. Will JBL have an argument for another shot or will a new man step forward and stake their claim?

One of those men could well be the Legend Killer, Randy Orton. Orton defeated The Undertaker at Judgment Day thanks to a sneaky chair shot followed by a brutal RKO to the Deadman. With Orton scoring the biggest win of his career to date, will he now head to the front of the queue for a championship match or will Orton and the Phenom have some unfinished business?

Kurt Angle re-signed as a Smackdown superstar last Friday night and competed Sunday at Judgment Day only to be defeated via count out by debutant Bobby Lashley. Angle walked out on the match, stating that he didn’t need to be there and that he deserves the WWE title, not a match with a ‘nobody’. Since defeating Shawn Michaels at Wrestlemania, Angle believes he’s been robbed of a rightful title match. Will he get his wish and be named number one contender or will the Wrestling Machine find another challenge in his way?

As mentioned above, Bobby Lashley made his debut at Judgment Day and the ‘Real Deal’ will make his Smackdown debut this Friday night. Lashley showed real promise in his first outing this past Sunday, showing great speed, strength and power to fend off one of the best in the businees in Kurt Angle. Be sure to check out Lashley’s Smackdown debut this Friday night.

Matt Hardy, Rey Mysterio and Rob Van Dam will all feel they were robbed at Judgment Day. Orlando Jordan rolled Hardy up, grabbing the tights to steal a victory over Hardy, retaining the U.S title in the process whilst MNM won the WWE Tag team titles in dubious circumstances against Van Dam and Mysterio. These eix men and their issues are far from resolved and this Friday night, Smackdown GM Teddy Long has announced that it’ll be the United States champion teaming up with the Tag team champions to take on the trio of Hardy, Mysterio and Van Dam! You won’t want to miss this one!

And finally, Booker T’s losing streak continued on Sunday, being defeated by Carlito but only after an accidental Gore from Rhyno. Rhyno was attacked backstage by Carlito and the Man Beast sought revenge only to cost his friend a victory. You can be sure that the former WCW champion will be wanting answers from Rhyno this Friday night.

Confirmed for this week’s Smackdown:

Six Man Tag team match:

Orlando Jordan and MNM vs. Matt Hardy, Rey Mysterio and Rob Van Dam

Plus

Bobby Lashley will make his Smackdown debut

Coming off once of the most memorable and exciting nights in WWE history, Raw comes to you live from the Resch Center, in Green Bay, Wisconsin. With so much action and historic moments taking place just 24 hours ago at Money in the Bank, so many questions will be answered. The whole WWE Title situation, the CM Punk situation, John Cena/ McMahon, Del Rio as Mr. Money in the Bank, & more. We also have been informed that Mr. McMahon will open the show to address some of these issues.

After a classic 35 minute encounter, CM Punk became the new WWE Champion. Even when McMahon tried with everything in his power to make sure he wouldn’t walk out with, Punk escaped from his hometown with the title. At midnight, Punk’s contract would expire. Punk is now gone, as is the WWE Championship. What does this mean for the future of Monday Night Raw? And how will Mr. McMahon react to this defiant act from his former employee and champion?

To go off of this, the man who Punk defeated to win the WWE Title, John Cena will be amidst controversy as usual. The match at Money in the Bank only occurred because Cena pushed for it. McMahon stated two weeks before the match, that if CM Punk walked out WWE Champion, he would fire John Cena!! Will Mr. McMahon live up to his word and fire John Cena on Raw tonight? This will be a can’t miss moment, as the future of the company could be affected by this decision.

Last night, Alberto Del Rio proved why he was the Essence of Excellence, when he defeated 7 other men to become Mr. Money in the Bank. The ending came when Del Rio would pull off Mysterio’s mask and knock him off the ladder. Mysterio has reportedly been very upset all day about being “unmasked”. Now that Del Rio has a guaranteed title shot for anytime up to a year, when will he cash it in? There is however one problem, there is no WWE Champion.

Two matches have been announced for tonight’s show. The Nexus, Michael McGuillicutty and David Otunga will defend their WWE Tag Team Titles against Santino Marella and Vladimir Kozlov. How will the Nexus do now that their leader CM Punk is no longer with them? Also just 24 hours after retaining her Divas Championship, Kelly Kelly teams with Eve and Beth Phoenix to face the team of the Bella Twins and Maryse.

This is a cant miss Raw, as we feel the fallout from the Money in the Bank pay-per-view. See how Punk’s victory and McMahon’s decision will affect the entire show and future of Monday Night Raw. Make sure to be tuned in from the start, as Mr. McMahon will start the show and address many of these pressing issues caused last night by Punk’s victory.

CHECK OUT THE SHOW UP NOW!! FEATURING AN 8 MAN LADDER MATCH TO CROWN A NEW WWE CHAMPION!!!

Friday Night Smackdown Preview
Friday 17th October 2008
Live from the Norfolk Scope
Norfolk, Virginia

The road to the Survivor Series is now under way and shaping up nicely, especially for the hugely important clash between John Cena and the World Heavyweight Champion, CM Punk.

They will lock horns as team captains with Cena fighting for a shot at Punk’s title, and last week we saw those teams begin to take shape. The World Champion had an already made ally in his rookie, Alberto Del Rio-Ramirez before ‘The Rated-R Superstar’ Edge offered him his services, although he made it clear he wants Cena off of Smackdown as well as taking Cena’s title shot, which who knows how that could turn out. Later on in the evening though Punk’s rookie stood up to the test against Cena, making life very difficult for him before eventually being put away by Smackdown’s number one star.

We weren’t done there however as Edge stormed the ring to spear Cena and was then joined by Punk until Matt Sydal came to help Cena out having accepted a place on Team Cena earlier on. The numbers game proved too much for the United States Champion but not Christian as he surprised everyone, Edge in particular as he saved the day and then offered Cena his services for Survivor Series. Cena accepted and both captains now have two men on their respective sides. This week Punk will meet one of the men he’ll face in a few weeks when he takes on the King of the Ring and fellow title holder, Matt Sydal in a Champion versus Champion match. If it wasn’t exciting enough before last week it sure is now!

Another Smackdown superstar who’ll be leading a team at the Survivor Series is ‘The Heartbreak Kid’ Shawn Michaels against a team led by arguably the man with the biggest mouth in the whole WWE in The Miz. Michaels received the challenge from Mr. Hollywood after being jumped by him & Heath Slater during his No Mercy rematch last week against Jack Swagger. The Showstopper has never been one to shirk a challenge and he didn’t turn down this one either, and on Raw Monday night he showed The Miz that it takes a lot to put him away. Is The Miz going to be coming back for more this Friday night?

In other developments from Monday night, we learnt that Eric Bischoff & Tazz agreed to hold an inter-promotional elimination match at the Survivor Series which will see ‘The Celtic Warrior’ Sheamus lead Team Raw against Team Smackdown. He will be joined by his rival, Carlito which may well be naive on the part of Raw’s Head of Authority. In the meantime though Smackdown needs to find a team and a captain. Maybe Tazz will let Raw know what he has in store for them this week.

There’s already a whole host of exciting action lined up for Smackdown live this Friday night in Norfolk, Virginia as we will crown a number one contender for Johnny Jeter’s Cruiserweight Championship. The cocky young champion has had his issues with his rookie, Yoshi Tatsu and Santino Marella as of late, and expect them to be involved as well as another mentor/rookie combination in J-Red & Chavo Guerrero, and they too as you’ve seen have their own issues. It should be an exciting contest to see who will meet Jeter in just over a week from now for the gold.

Christian got his hands dirty last week as we mentioned before, only this week he will be in action when he teams up with his trusty problem solver, Tyson Tomko to take on The Empire, who have added William Regal to their little anti-American group. With Captain Charisma still reeling after being screwed out of the World Championship by Edge at No Mercy, maybe the Brits are finally going to get what’s coming to them.

We’ll also see the impressive duo of Bobby Lashley & Charlie Haas take on Petey Williams & Johnny Devine in a rematch from last week after the Canadians went to ask for a rematch. Lashley & Haas have looked almost unstoppable in recent weeks, still yet to taste defeat as a duo and they’ll look to keep that going this week.

M.V.P. & Ron Killings will return to action this week when they meet Chris Masters and The Masterpiece’s rookie, Ryan Sheffield. They both had a night to forget at No Mercy but one of those two teams will see their luck change for the better Friday night in Norfolk.

Also in action is TJ Wilson, the rookie of Harry Smith, one half of the WWE Tag Team Champions. It looked like the other half, Paul Burchill would have to fight alone last week against Masters & Sheffield until Smith showed up with Wilson & Natalya Neidhart at the last second. The UK Pack were victorious but Burchill still wasn’t happy afterwards, walking out on Smith and his long time friend & cousin. It seems that Smith’s relationship with his rookie could be causing some tension with his partner & co-champion. Will that have any effect on Wilson’s match against the angry Dolph Ziggler this week? After losing to Elijah Burke at No Mercy and missing out on a date with Layla before then finding out Burke & Layla got engaged last week, surely Ziggler’s anger levels will be at an all time high when Smackdown rolls in to Virginia this week.

Whatever you do don’t miss Smackdown this week as we continue on the road to the Survivor Series!

Smackdown Preview, April 1, 2004

Tonight for the first time ever in the WWE, Smackdown presents to you the lethal lottery tournament. Six matches will take place tonight. The possibilities of matchups involving 24 of Smackdown’s brightest stars are indeed fascinating. Their names will be drawn random at the lethal lottery. We can find some unique tag team combinations, for example we could see The Undertaker and Kane on the same team or we could even see the tag team champions Booker T and RVD pitted against each other. Regardless of the team mates they need to work as a team, win their tag team match to advance on to a battle royal next week on Smackdown.. Once the field is set for the battle royal it’s every man for himself. The last two remaining will compete in a match the following week. The winner becomes the #1 contender for the WWE Title and would receive a title shot against the WWE Champion Eddie Guerrero at Judgment Day.

If partners are pitted against each other, will they remain as a team by the end of the night? What other developments will take place tonight on Smackdown. To find out tune in to Smackdown.
