WWE Raw Preview, March 22, 2004

Tonight Raw comes to you from Detroit Michigan and tonight’s main event is one of the biggest in Raw history. Last week it was announced that tonight's main event would be of epic proportions as Evolution will take on Shawn Michaels, Chris Benoit, Mick Foley and The Rock in an 8 man tag team match. Will HHH get back to winning ways tonight? Will Benoit make HHH tap out again? Is Orton going to get one over Mick Foley again?

Also tonight Trish Stratus is the special guest on the highlight reel and Trish will tell Jericho face to face why she broke his heart at WrestleMania. Eric Bischoff has barred Christian from making an appearance on the Highlight Reel and if he gets involved then he would be fined and suspended. As for Jericho if he lays a hand on Trish he would get fined and suspended. How will Jericho react tonight?

Last week The World’s Greatest Tag Team made a very impressive start on their first night on Raw. Tonight we will find out who their opponents will be at Backlash as The Dudleys meet La Resistance in a number one contenders match.

What other developments will take place tonight on Raw. To find out tune in to Monday Night Raw.

Confirmed Matches

8 Man Tag Team Match: Evolution vs Shawn Michaels, Chris Benoit, Mick Foley and The Rock
#1 contenders Match: The Dudleys vs La Resistance
#1 Contenders Match: Lita vs Jazz vs Molly

+ much more

~Monday Night Raw~
March 5th, 2007
Topeka, Kansas

Just 24 hours removed from one of the most controversial nights in WWE history, Monday Night Raw emanates from Topeka, Kansas with 'The Evil Genius' Mr. McMahon no doubt feeling on top of the world.

Saturday Night's Main Event came to a shocking conclusion as during the main event of the broadcast, a Steel Cage Handicap Match between John Cena and Mr. and Shane McMahon, Bobby Lashley ripped through the canvas and attacked Cena with such venom and hatred, practically handing victory to Vince and Shane. Lashley then proceeded to further inflict injury on Cena, with the lasting image of the night that of Vince, Shane and Lashley arm in arm, celebrating their destruction of Cena. And it appears the celebrations are set to carry over into this evening, as Mr. McMahon has announced that live tonight, he, Shane and Bobby will be holding a victory celebration in the ring. What the celebration holds is anybody's guess, but you can be sure John Cena will have something to say about it.

As for the WWE Championship situation, we all assumed the match had been set. Shawn Michaels and Triple H, two storied rivals, set to meet for the richest prize in sport's entertainment. However, the route to that match was paved in controversy. It was Rob Van Dam and Triple H who battled it out at Saturday Night's Main Event for the chance to face Michaels, only the WWE Champion himself to make his presence felt at ringside. A spat between 'The Game' and 'The Heartbreak Kid' led to Michaels entering the ring, looking to take Triple H's head off... but instead he nailed Van Dam! Naturally, and not without a tinge of reluctance, 'The Game' took advantage to book his Wrestlemania spot. However, the WWE Board of Directors have moved quickly to eliminate and chance of controversy, ordering a rematch between the two take place tonight, will all outside interference banned. Van Dam has one last chance, but after accusing 'The Game' of taking the easy way out, Triple H will be in no mood to simply let 'RVD' walk into the WWE Championship Match at Wrestlemania XXIII.

Having returned to Raw last week during the Randy Orton and Rob Van Dam match to attack Kenny Dykstra, Jeff Hardy is scheduled for his first match in over six weeks as he and Dykstra clash in non-title action. Hardy's chance at regaining his Intercontinental Championship from Dykstra has long gone, but tonight is all about revenge for Jeff. Orton will also be in action, as he competes in the first Raw Money in the Bank Ladder Match Qualifier against Carlito, but could his mind perhaps be on Jeff, after it was the distraction of Hardy and Dykstra brawling at ringside that ultimately cost Orton last week?

Speaking of Carlito, it seems like his partnership with Ric Flair is at and end after Mr. Kennedy cost the pair the World Tag Team Championships at Saturday Night's Main Event. Flair and 'Lito parted on good terms, and 'Lito tonight has another chance to go to Wrestlemania as he faces Orton. Flair however has requested a segment of the show to address the actions of Mr. Kennedy, a request that has been granted. Will Carlito make it past Orton and start to climb the ladder to success? And what will Flair have to say as he speaks for the first time as a former tag team champion?

Speaking of the tag team champions, the new World Tag Team Champions Shelton Benjamin and Charlie Haas have also indicated that they have something they wish to say, The Hart Legacy make their debuts tonight, we'll hear from CM Punk after he finally set Kelly Kelly free from the clutches of Mike Knox, while Beth Phoenix is in action again, this time against Maria.

It's a stacked episode of Raw, one you won't want to miss as Wrestlemania XXIII is now officially in our sights!

Confirmed Matches:

Triple H vs. Rob Van Dam

Non Title Match : Kenny Dykstra vs. Jeff Hardy
Money in the Bank Qualifying Match: Randy Orton vs. Carlito

Beth Phoenix vs. Maria
The Hart Legacy make their WWE debuts!!

Plus, Mr. McMahon will celebrate his victory over John Cena at Saturday Night's Main Event!!

Show now posted here.

This week, the first round of the tournament will "The Icon" Sting going one-on-one with Carlito Cool; and Chris Jericho facing off against "The Bare-Knuckle Brawler" Wade Barrett.

Also, a message was sent from a mysterious voice from Television to Television Champion, Low Ki and challenger, Antonio Banks. Will Low Ki focus his attention on the challenger, or the mysterious man?

Thursday Night SmackDown Preview
06/30/05 – Anaheim, CA

As SmackDown heads to Anaheim, the suspense of the Draft Lottery and its final hours increases, as does the intensity of the SmackDown superstars as the Great American Bash draws nearer, and with summer on the horizon, things are bound to heat up.

Last week, Theodore Long introduced the SmackDown Championship before making a six-man elimination match for this week to crown the inaugural champion. The match is set to feature six of SmackDown's top superstars, who at this point has been confirmed to be JBL, Rey Mysterio, Chris Benoit, Booker T, Eddie Guerrero, and Randy Orton. With each superstar seemingly headed down different paths in their career, one similarity has been found - they all want to be champion, and they all want that now. Who will manage to adjust to the elimination style matchup and emerge victorious over their fellow peers, ultimately becoming the first ever SmackDown Champion? {DH Spoiler: Don't get too excited... Batista, 'nuff said}

Since being drafted to SmackDown in the Draft Lottery, Randy Orton has made it very clear that he has not gotten over the fact that he lost to the Undertaker at WrestleMania. After Randy Orton RKO'd the Undertaker a few weeks ago, costing him his match against JBL, the Deadman has begun his mind games with Randy Orton in hopes of getting inside the head of the youngster and catching him off guard. Orton, however, has made it known that he plans on living up to his title as 'The Legend Killer' by killing the career of the Undertaker, and in the process, cementing his own legacy.

Over the past couple of weeks, Heidenreich has had his share of problems with the WWE Tag Team Champions, MNM. Last week, Joey Mercury was successful in defeating Heidenreich after interference from his counterparts, which one must assume has angered Heidenreich. Whether or not he will retaliate against the champions remains to be seen, but one thing's for certain - the number's game MNM possess seems to be the difference maker, and only a fool would try to tackle the tandem single-handedly.

Speaking of MNM, Melina and Michelle McCool have been at each other's throats over the past couple of weeks. It started a few weeks back when MNM interrupted Heidenreich's 'chocolate frenzy' with the other diva's on SmackDown, which followed up with Melina humiliating Heidenreich and going as far as calling him a pathetic loser. Michelle McCool decided that she'd heard enough and attacked Melina. Just last week, the same thing happened when Michelle had had enough of Melina's interference in Heidenreich's match with Joey Mercury, leading to a catfight ensuing at ringside during the middle of the contest. This week, the two hope to settle the score in the ring as they go one-on-one.

Cruiserweight Champion Paul London has done quite well for himself since winning the title back in March. Last week, however, both he and Chavo Guerrero were viciously assaulted by a new, debuting group on SmackDown known as 'The Mexicools'. The trio, consisting of Super Crazy, Juventud, and Psicosis made it very clear they are tired of dealing with Mexican stereotypes and vowed to take over the Cruiserweight division on SmackDown. Tonight, London will go one-on-one with Akio in a non-title match, and whether or not the Mexicools will once again involve themselves remains to be seen.

Someone else tired of racism and stereotypes if Muhammad Hassan, who, along with his manager Daivari, feels like he's being treated poorly due to the fact that he's Muslim, and is sick of being treated poorly. Tonight, he'll be in action against Funaki, another superstar with cultural heritage, in hopes of sending a message to Theodore Long and the rest of the SmackDown locker room of what's on his agenda and what he's capable of.

Lastly, this edition of SmackDown marks the final day of the 2005 Draft Lottery. Although most of the Draft Lottery has been completed and the aftermath is in effect, there is still the possibility that one or multiple superstars could change brands at the last minute. The effects of this would be extraordinary, and the impact on the future would be gigantic.

Tune into SmackDown this Thursday at 8/7 CT to see all of this and more.

Smackdown Preview, March 25, 2004

Tonight Kurt Angle makes his return to Smackdown and Kurt wants his rematch from WrestleMania against Eddie Guerrero. Last week Paul Heyman suggested to Kurt Angle not to appear on Smackdown this week in the interest of public safety. Last week via satellite Kurt Angle explained why he attacked Edge and Edge promised that if Kurt showed up on Smackdown he would break Kurt’s neck. Will it be a wise move for Kurt to show up tonight? Is Kurt taking Edge’s threat too lightly? Will Paul Heyman grant Kurt his rematch and keep Edge away from Angle tonight?

Speaking of Paul Heyman, last week Heyman was attacked again but this time by The Undertaker. Is this starting to become a routine now for Heyman to be attacked every week on Smackdown? What will the Smackdown general manager do tonight? Will Paul Heyman even show up? To find out tune in to Smackdown.

Confirmed Matches
6 Man Tag Team Match: US Champion John Cena and Tag Team Champions RVD and Booker T vs The FBI
Cruiserweight Title Match (c)Tajiri vs The Hurricane
Rey Mysterio vs Rhyno
+ much more

Monday Night Raw Preview
July 15th 2002
Continental Airlines Arena, New Jesery

Vengeance is just one 6 days away and with this being the last Raw before the event, with so many intense and personal feuds going into the Pay Per View, who will get the last laugh before they collide at Vengeance? Who will get the upperhand and the much needed momentum going into their respective matches? One match that has been keeping everyone on the edge of their seats is the Shawn Michaels and Triple H saga. Both men were and apparently are as close as brothers, when Shawn returned to become Raw General Manager last month, they looked to reform D-X, Kevin Nash on the other hand had other plans. Nash would talk with Triple H backstage and get into his head, inserting things like Shawn hasn't changed in his time out of the WWE and he is the same old backstabbing snake he always was, the same Shawn that superkicked himself and Marty Jannetty when he didn't need them anymore. When Shawn accidently hit Triple H with a superkick during his mathc with Kevin Nash a fortnight ago. Distraught and unsure of himself and who to trust, Shawn left Raw at the top of the broadcast last week and didn't return, leaving Triple H in charge for the night. Shawn would later on in the week announce on WWE.COM that Triple H and Kevin Nash will face each other at the PPV but this time Shawn will be the Special Guest Refereree. Will Shawn be in the arena tonight? What mindset will he be in? Will he be a fair and impartial referee or does Shawn have other plans?

Another match that has become heated is the Undisputed title match, the champion, the Undertaker and the challenger, Kurt Angle have been going at it on both Raw and SmackDown the past month. Both men have week in and week out appeared on each other's shows, running in during each other's matches and jumping one another when their guards were down. This week it is uncertain is Kurt Angle will be on Raw but the Undertaker will be and will be in action.

Brothers will collide at Vengeance for the Intercontinental title when the champion, Jeff Hardy will take on Matt Hardy. Matt has made it clear that Jeff is the rotten brother and the one that got it always easy and handed to him, Matt says that he was the one that always got the job done and the one that had the wrestling skills, Jeff was just a spot monkey that if it weren't for Matt he would be laid out in a pile of Ladders and Tables and had lost every match he had been in. This week the brothers will pick each other's poisons in a series of pick your poison matches, who will Matt and Jeff face? and who will come out with their heads raised high heading into Vengeance?

Last week on Raw we were treated to a sitdown interview with the self proclaimed World's Greatest Tag Team, Shelton Benjamin and Charlie Haas. The duo will be at Vengeance and have bought themselves front row seats for the PPV, but until then we have one more Raw left and in what way will they make their presence felt this week?

Confirmed for Raw

Matt Hardy & Jeff Hardy pick each other's poisons

Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman in action

the Undertaker in action

and much much more.

Monday Night Raw (July 04, 2011)

Feuding Foursomes

Two weeks ago, CM Punk became the number one contender to John Cena’s WWE Championship but with The Straight Edge Society in Punk’s corner, Cena essentially faced a four on one battle. This is why, last week, Cena rallied up Kofi Kingston, Rey Mysterio and Evan Bourne to be on his side against Punk’s henchmen to even up the odds. Much like Cena and Punk will do battle over the WWE title, Kofi Kingston will get a rematch for the United States Championship he lost to Mason Ryan at Capitol Punishment next week and Bourne and Mysterio have teamed up to challenge the WWE Tag Team Champions, Joseph Mercury and Seth Rollins. No members from either team are booked in a match, as of yet but there is no doubt that they will be on Raw tonight. In what matter though, remains to be seen.

Destiny’s Double Header

In almost two weeks time at Money In The Bank, Alberto Del Rio and Jack Swagger will go head to head for the second time in their heated rivalry. The stipulation of the match will be decided next week on the Monday Night Raw Supershow, where Swagger and John Morrison will take on Del Rio and Skip Sheffield. Tonight, as previews to that match, Alberto Del Rio will take on John Morrison and Jack Swagger will take on Skip Sheffield. Which side will gain the momentum going into next week’s big tag match and then the ultimate grudge match at Money In The Bank?

Awesome Aghast

In a moment The Miz would rather forget, Zack Ryder defeated him last week for the second time last week and “The Awesome One” was distraught. To make matters worse the match was a Money In The Bank Ladder Match Qualifying Match and now Ryder is heading to the pay per view with The Miz missing out on the match. The former WWE Champion is going to voice his concerns tonight on Raw, as he is set to open the show!

Fresh Meat

Tonight we’re going to be deciding a new #1 Contender for a different title, Kharma’s Women’s Championship! Last week the champ demolished Kelly Kelly in the latter’s rematch, defeating her confidently the second time in a row. This week there will be a battle royale to find Kharma’s next challenger, with Maryse, Brie Bella, Nikki Bella, Natalya, Gail Kim and Kelly all set to fight for a shot. Whoever wins beware though; there is a monster waiting for them.
Show is now posted, feedback is much appreciated, check it out.
