As Monday Night Raw rolls into the Hampton Coliseum, the WWE Fan Nation will be wondering just how else the superstars of the red brand can up the ante on the road to "The Hottest Part of The Summer" SummerSlam.

Rob Van Dam is back on Raw and "Mr. Monday Night" has made it perfectly clear that he is looking for revenge, and subsequently gunning for Batista's WWE Championship. Prior to a win in the main event over John 'Bradshaw' Layfield last week, RVD staked his claim to the WWE Title and challenged his arch-nemesis Batista to a match at SummerSlam. However, Van Dam's return brought out the untamed spirit of "The Animal", who took out both Colon brothers in a brutal, retaliatory message to his supposed number one contender. We've already seen the hatred between Rob Van Dam and Batista cause casualties ever since The Animal first destroyed Mr. Monday Night back at Vengeance – but just how many more will be suffered before the bad blood between these two is resolved?

As a result of Batista's actions last week, a match has been made for this week's show, as "The Bad Apple" Carlito goes up against WWE Champion Batista in a non-title affair. Although the WWE Title is not on the line, Carlito will surely still have all the ammunition he needs as he looks to both avenge the destruction of his brother Primo at the hands of his opponent, but also gain some payback for himself. Whether or not Carlito will gain such revenge remains to be seen but one thing is for certain; as "The Voice of Raw" Jim Ross would say - "This one is sure to be bowling-show ugly!"

Speaking of all things "bowling-shoe ugly"; to use such a phrase to describe the ongoing issue between "The Viper" Randy Orton and "The Big Red Demon" Kane may be an understatement. Since Randy Orton was moved back to Raw by WWE Chairman Mr. McMahon, the monster Kane has returned to Monday nights to stalk his rival, in search for resolution (and in Kane's mind, resolution means annihilation) to issues that have plagued the monster's soul for what must feel to be an eternity. As demonic and destructive as Kane has proven to be over the years, Randy Orton has also proven such how sick and twisted he can be on many an occasion. Will the Hampton Coliseum even be left standing once these two have been in the building!?

Also on Raw; JBL & Intercontinental Champion Cody Rhodes take on the team of Mr. Money in the Bank CM Punk and Mr. Kennedy, but before that, JBL will call out CM Punk. After being hit with the shillelagh last week, William Regal goes one-on-one with Finlay. The Women's Champion Mickie James and World Tag Team Champions Black Gold will be in the house; plus, by order of Mr. McMahon, The Big Show will return to in-ring competition. Don't miss what's bound to be another can't-miss edition of Monday Night Raw, live on the USA Network.

***
And after a short delay - the show is now POSTED!!

Me and Concrete have a fun thing going on WSX: The Reawakening. The roster and staff are up if people would like to check it out. We should begin to first show soon. Expect fun storylines and all the wackiness that was WSX.

WWE Monday Night Raw Preview June 7th, 2004

Despite so much happening on Raw at the moment, there’s one burning question on everybody’s mind. Will this week’s rendition of the flagship show of the WWE be ‘Sheriff’ Stone Cold Steve Austin’s last Raw? That question won’t get answered until Vengeance when Austin’s representative Shawn Michaels, goes up against Eric Bischoff’s representative, Bill Goldberg. As the orders of the owner of the WWE Vince McMahon, if Michaels wins, Austin has full control of Raw. However if Goldberg wins, then Eric Bischoff has full control over Raw, which would surely see Austin banished from Raw forever. What will happen is a mystery to everybody, but the scene has been set for Austin to do as he pleases tonight. This is due to Eric Bischoff remaining in hospital after Scott Steiner rammed his head through the office wall last week. Both Bischoff and Steiner (due to suspension) won’t be at Raw, but Austin will be running the show, and Michaels and Goldberg will both be in the arena. Things could quite literally explode at any moment.

One thing Austin has voiced his disapproval of over the past few weeks is so many wrestlers not doing what they are paid to do, wrestle. That won’t happen this week. The World Heavyweight Champion Chris Benoit has been willing to take on any and all comers since winning the title back at WrestleMania. And he’ll have to do so again when he goes one on one with Lance Storm in Raw’s main event. And Benoit’s opponents at Vengeance, Triple H and Randy Orton will both also be in action. Randy Orton will be going one on one with Lance Storm’s opponent for Vengeance in Chris Jericho. Whilst ‘The Game’ Triple H will look to show that he’s that damn good, when he gets a chance to shut up a man who has been a thorn in his side since making his debut two weeks ago, Nick Dinsmore. With Benoit, Triple H and Orton all looking to send a message to each other before their triple threat match at Vengeance; with Storm wanting to prove he’s as good as he thinks he is; with Jericho wanting to turn his bad luck around; and Dinsmore wanting to make a name for himself, these matches all have the potential to steal the show.

After being extremely vocal heading into his WWE Intercontinental title match against Maven at Backlash, Matt Hardy hasn’t been as vocal this time around. Some believe this is because Hardy is still shell shocked after being defeated by the champion at Backlash. Maven has been the definition of a fighting champion, taking on anybody and everybody, and refuses to be bullied by Hardy. Either way, we will hear from Matt Hardy tonight, and he has promised to explain exactly why he has such an issue with Maven. It’s guaranteed that Maven will be listening to every word, and his reaction to Hardy’s words will definitely be one to watch.

This is just the tip of the ice berg really, as this week on Raw we will also get an update from Rosey on the condition of his best friend, The Hurricane. For those who missed last week’s show, The Hurricane slipped off of the top rope, and landed head first on the outside of the ring. He has yet to be allowed to leave the hospital. Not only is this on the agenda, but we’ll see The Dudley Boyz go up against Rodney Mack and Stevie Richards, as well as Kane and Jazz in action.

There will also be appearances from many of the other usual suspects, as the Raw superstars make one last stop on their individual quests for Vengeance...

In Your House 13: Vader Time

Bret Hart vs Vader for the Number One Contendership for the WWF Championship

After the controversy at the 1997 Royal Rumble Vince McMahon held a tournament. The first match of the first round Vader defeated The Undertaker after some help from Paul Bearer. The second match of the first round Bret Hart managed to get a win in a brutal match with Stone Cold Steve Austin. Now these two will meet and the winner will go on to face the WWF Champion for a title opportunity in the Main Event of Wrestlemania .

Shawn Micheals (c) vs Shysco Sid for the WWF Championship

After Shawn Micheals won back the WWF Championship from Shysco Sid at the Royal Rumble, Sid was not too happy. He interfered in a Non-Title match between WWF Champion Shawn Micheals and then-WWF Intercontinental Champion Hunter Hearst Helmsey. Shawn Micheals called out Sid and Sid demanded a Rematch at In Your House. Shawn Micheals accepted.

SmackDown comes from Las Vegas this week and is headlined by a Rock Concert by the WWE Champion. Rock has been very vocal about his displeasure at having to face John Cena again at WrestleMania 29, and will surely have some choice words again for Cena tonight.

SmackDown GM Booker T Tweeted an image of himself stood beside the Raw Roulette wheel before the show went on the air, with the captain "going to need to borrow this". What does Booker have in mind and how will the Roulette wheel come into play?

Daniel Bryan is tired of been labelled a "nearly man" and has unleashed a more cunning, vicious arsenal of submission moves of late. Bryan went so far as to apologise to his opponent prior to his last match, a match that saw Bryan pick up a submission victory with his newly-reintroduced Cattle Mutilation finisher. Bryan is in action tonight on SmackDown.

There will also be further build to highly-anticipated World Heavyweight Championship bout between Chris Jericho and the champion Dolph Ziggler. Jericho has agreed to putting his career on the line in the match at WM29, meaning he needs to win the World Title or end his illustrious career on the grandest stage of them all.

Sin Cara turned heel on his mentor Rey Mysterio this past Monday on Raw, beating down Mysterio after the pair lost their Tag Team Championships to VIckie Guerrero's latest clients, the Perfect Generation (Ted DiBiase and Joe Hennig). That feud is set to get more personal as we continue on the road to WrestleMania.

The shocking news coming out of Monday Night Raw was CM Punk quitting the WWE after failing to defeat The Rock for the WWE Championship. Reaction from a "heartbroken" Paul Heyman tonight on SmackDown.

There will also be another announcement regarding Hall Of Fame inductees, who will join Mick Foley and Chris Jericho in the Class Of 2013?

There will also be follow-up on the identity and motives of the mysterious Dean Ambrose, who made his WWE debut on Raw by taking out Triple H with a sledgehammer in a seemingly-unprovoked assault.

Confirmed For SmackDown

Booker T and the Roulette Wheel open the show

Daniel Bryan vs Alberto Del Rio

World Heavyweight Champion Dolph Ziggler vs Ryback

Inductee to the Hall Of Fame announced

Intercontinental Champion The Miz vs John Morrison in an Elimination Chamber rematch
