John Cena: Ever since losing to The Rock at WrestleMania 28 John Cena has been on a mission to earn a rematch and prove that he can beat The Rock. Cena first attempted to become WWE Champion at TLC, knowing that the winner would face Rock at the Royal Rumble, but Cena failed to win the title and had to watch on as CM Punk took on The Rock in the main event. Cena entered the Rumble match in the hope that Rock would win the title and that Cena could challenge him as the Rumble winner, but again he failed as he was eliminated late on by Dolph Ziggler. The Elimination Chamber represents Cena’s last chance to earn a rematch with The Rock (assuming Rock can overcome CM Punk). Can Cena defeat five other men inside the Elimination Chamber? If not, how will Cena react to the devastation of defeat again?
Daniel Bryan: Recently christened as WWE’s “nearly man”, Daniel Bryan is on a mission to prove the world wrong. Bryan came close to winning the World Heavyweight Championship for the last two months, but each time came up just short. Arguably the most popular man at live events, Bryan has the support of the fans behind him as he looks to prove he “can win the big one”. Is Bryan able to overcome the other five entrants inside the Chamber and earn himself a spot in the main event of WrestleMania, or will it be another case of “nearly” for Daniel Bryan?
Kane: The Big Red Machine is back to his darkest and most devastating ways. Kane has spent months destroying all that came before him after splitting with former tag team partner Daniel Bryan, and with the help of the crazy AJ Lee has been striking fear into the hearts of his opponents. But Kane’s story took an unexpected twist when, after a defeat at the hands of John Cena, he Chokeslammed AJ. The Devil’s Favourite Demon went on to claim that monsters work best when left to their own devices, and said he will enjoy torturing the souls of his five opponents inside the Chamber. Can anyone stop the Big Red Monster?
Big Show: Big Show enjoyed one of the most dominant World Heavyweight Championship reigns in recent history, holding the title from Survivor Series through to the Royal Rumble without suffering a defeat. But when he lost his title in a Triple Threat match without been involved in the decision, Show was outraged. He agreed to a singles rematch that carried a stipulation that, if unsuccessful, he would be barred from challenging for the World Title again. Show lost the match to Randy Orton, but the stipulation does not stop the Giant from challenging for other titles. Show has set his sights on the WWE Championship, can anyone stop the 500lb 7-footer inside the satanic structure?
Sheamus: 2012 was a year that Sheamus will never forget. He won the 2012 Royal Rumble and went on to become World Heavyweight Champion at WrestleMania 28. Sheamus is looking to replicate that success this year by earning a WWE Championship opportunity via winning the Elimination Chamber. Can lightning strike twice for the Celtic Warrior?
Ryback: The meteoric rise of Ryback has been remarkable. Catapulted almost instantly into WWE Championship matches with CM Punk, Ryback was screwed out of victory at Survivor Series and has since found a title opportunity hard to come by. But the hunger for gold has not left Ryback, and he is in devastating form going into his first ever Elimination Chamber match. Will the Chamber prove to be too much, or does it merely resemble feeding time?
