1/14 iMPACT! Preview

It's the final show before Final Resolution, so this week's iMPACT! promises to be huge!

Our very own Mike Tenay will host a sit-down interview in the ring with the two men who will compete for the most prestigious prize in professional wrestling, the NWA World Heavyweight Championship, tomorrow night: Jeff Jarrett and Christian Cage!

In a huge six-man tag team main event, it's another battle between Planet Jarrett and Christian's Coalition, as the NWA World Tag Team Champions America's Most Wanted and 'The Alpha Male' face 'The War Machine' Rhino and Team 3D!

One of Samoa Joe's challengers for the X Division Championship tomorrow night at Final Resolution, 'The Fallen Angel' Christopher Daniels, will face Matt Bentley, with Joe and AJ Styles sure to be watching closely!

Plus, after the huge statement that Generation Next made last week, Alex Shelley squares off against Sonjay Dutt!

Tune in THIS SATURDAY at 11/10c on SPIKE TV!

Raw Posted with new format so would love some thoughts

Continuing on from last weeks RAW where Rey Mysterio defeated the Big Show, this week Mysterio will be at ringside to watch the Big Show take on his Royal Rumble opponent the WWE Champion, Daniel Bryan. Can the champ follow in Mysterio's foot steps and knock off the World's Largest Athlete or can Show take a huge step forward heading into the Royal Rumble Match which is only a week away.

With AJ Lee being so dominant over recent months and being on a four month undefeated no diva is putting her hands up for the Diva's Title at the Royal Rumble. So Triple H has decided to give the shot to one of AJ's former friends Kaitlyn or Layla. The two beautiful divas will face off with one another for the chance to fight AJ at the Royal Rumble.

John Cena and Sheamus have been teaming up the last few weeks and this week will be no different but they could be facing their toughest test on RAW this week. Two former champs who have history with both Cena and Sheamus could prove to be a very tough challenge. Can Cena and Sheamus get the win or will the team of CM Punk and Alberto Del Rio get the win.

United States Champion, Dean Ambrose, will be in for some tough competition against Money in the Bank holder, Cody Rhodes, as both head in to a potentially huge year. Both men are involved in some big matches at the Royal Rumble any momentum they can take from RAW they will need in order to start the year the best way possible.

Confirmed Matches

Daniel Bryan vs. Big Show
Dean Ambrose vs. Cody Rhodes
John Cena and Sheamus vs. CM Punk and Alberto Del Rio
Number One Contender for the Divas Title
Layla vs. Kaitlyn
Jack Swagger and Antonio Cesaro vs. Titus O'Neil and Darren Young
Ezekiel Jackson vs. Xavier Woods
Kassius Ohno vs. Seth Rollins

Friday Night 'Live' Smackdown
Friday 20th March 2009 - Preview!
Live from the Pacific Coliseum
Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA

The 25th anniversary of Wrestlemania draws even closer, and we're now just over a week away as Smackdown comes to you live this week from the Pacific Coliseum in Vancouver, British Columbia.

The World Heavyweight Champion is still reeling from finding out that 'Stonecold' Steve Austin will be the Special Guest Referee for his World Heavyweight Championship against Randy Orton at Wrestlemania. However he's not the only one unhappy about it. The Chairman of the Board, Mr. McMahon is also furious about the decision from the board of directors, which he was unaware of when it was announced by his wife, Linda McMahon. He claimed that Austin will help Punk to spite him given their historic rivalry, while Punk believes it's a conspiracy to help Mr. McMahon's agenda to get the world title away from him. The World Champion was defiant last week when he laid out The Viper and stated that he will remain the World Champion regardless of any conspiracy. It's sure to be another eventful night as far as Punk, Orton & Mr. McMahon are concerned this week on Canadian soil!

The battle to win the Money in the Bank contract continued on Raw Monday night with Chris Jericho prevailing in a competitive fatal fourway match against Christian, Matt Sydal and the United States Champion, Dolph Ziggler. Kofi Kingston also came out on top against Jack Swagger after a count out victory over The All-American American. Bryan Danielson was also successful in Raw's six man tag team main event along with Shawn Michaels & Kevin Nash. 'The World's Largest Athlete' The Big Show is also looking as dangerous as ever heading into it. What can we expect to see from the potential World Champions when they step into Canada this Friday night?

It's sure to be another eventful night on the Road to Wrestlemania. Just make sure you don't miss it!

Smackdown Posted

Following last weeks Smackdown a few of the big men and faces of Smackdown will this week face off with one another as they prepare for some big matches at the Royal Rumble this Sunday.

So General Manager, Edge, announced that this week he will have a warm up for the Royal Rumble match with an over the top Battle Royal Gauntlet match. Ryback will need to get through Heath Slater, Jinder Mahal, R Truth, Curtis Axel, Tyson Kidd, Kofi Kingston before facing off with Big E Langston.

Over the top Rope Battle Royal Gauntlet Match
Ryback vs. Jinder Mahal, Heath Slater, Curtis Axel, R Truth, Tyson Kidd, Kofi Kingston and Big E Langston
Kane vs. Mark Henry
Drew McIntyre vs. Bo Dallas
Bray Wyatt vs. Justin Gabriel
Corey Graves and Adrian Neville vs. Camacho and Hunico

Please tune in to Smackdown to find out what happens i the lead up to the Royal Rumble

‘The Return of the Boss’

One week after CM Punk made an ultimatum the likes of which the WWE has never seen, Raw is in Omaha, Nebraska tonight. The Qwest Center will bear witness tonight as Raw welcomes back the Boss himself, the Chairman of the Board in Vince McMahon. The question on everyone’s lips is; will McMahon give CM Punk what he demanded, and make a match at Capitol Punishment between the Second City Saint and The Rock? Or will he invoke the other option of Punk’s ultimatum, and allow him to leave the company? After Punk’s threats last week on the Draft Special, Mr. McMahon will have to think about the possibilities of Punk living up to his word and coming after the McMahon family should he not get his way… just how will the Chairman respond? And is there even a chance The Rock would really come out of many years of ‘retirement’ for McMahon if the match was made?

Elsewhere on Raw, there could be no bigger main event; last week, John Cena laid down the challenge to Triple H to determine once and for all who was the better man, with the WWE Title shot that the Game won in Tag Team Attraction on the line. Knowing they needed a definitive winner, and to get their frustrations out, they agreed on a No Holds Barred Match, meaning these two can go to any lengths necessary to beat the other tonight. Waiting in the wings for the winner is The Miz, who proclaimed that ‘Monday Night Miz’ is only going to get bigger following his successful, albeit controversial, title defence at Over The Limit. Tonight, the Awesome One will be at ringside to watch Triple H attempt to protect his title shot against the man The Miz already defeated at Wrestlemania XXVII… but no matter what, this match will be brutal as Cena and the Game look to label themselves the number one contender to a title they both live for.

Also on Raw, we’ll hear from Edge on his first night back as a Raw superstar, following that demoralising evening he had last week. Similarly, Beth Phoenix and Jack Swagger will get their spells back on Raw underway too in separate matches, and Tyler Black looks to continue his good form against new Raw man Curt Hawkins!

Announced For Raw

Mr. McMahon answers CM Punk’s ultimatum
Words from Edge

No Holds Barred Match; John Cena vs. Triple H
Non-Title Singles Contest; Tyler Black vs. Curt Hawkins
Jack Swagger and Beth Phoenix both compete
