Saturday Night Main Event

(Both RAW and SD superstars perform in the dress rehearsal for Armaggedon)

Shane Mcmahon announces the main event for the night: John Cena, Christian and Undertaker will face WWE Champion Randy Orton, Chris Jericho and Sheamus.

1. Ezekiel Jackson comes out for his match. Santino Marella looks scared in the ring.

Ezekiel Jackson def. Santino Marella via Ura-nage at 2:19

2. Wade Barrett faces Mark Henry in a non-title match. Both are undefeated till now and one of their streaks will end tonight. Wade tries to hit the Wasteland but cannot lift Henry who hits the WS Slam. Henry is surprised when Barrett kicks out of it. Later, Barrett hits the Big Boot to get the pinfall.

Wade Barrett def. Mark Henry via pinfall at 6:55

After the match, he promises that he will beat Michaels at Armaggedon.

3. Dolph Ziggler comes out for his match. Yoshi Tatsu is his opponent.

Dolph Ziggler def. Yoshi Tatsu via pinfall at 4:34

4. Two matches happen between FCW and NXT contestants.

5. Main Event:

Cena and Sheamus start the match and both look equally in control. Cena tags Christian in who works on Sheamus for some time. Sheamus hits the Brogue Kick and just misses the 3-count by a whisker. He tags in Jericho who beats up Christian. When Jericho misses a lionsault, Christian tags in Undertaker, the crowd erupts and Jericho begins to beg for mercy. Jericho suddenly tries to take a cheap shot but Taker beat him down. Just as Taker takes the cover after hitting a chokeslam, Orton rushes in to break the count. Cena takes Orton and himself out of the ring. Sheamus hits a Brogue Kick on Undertaker. Christian comes up and tries the Killswitch but Jericho comes out and hits the Codebreaker for the pinfall.

Jericho, Orton and Sheamus def. Christian, Cena and Undertaker via pinfall at 11:34

As the referee raises their hands, Orton RKO’s Jericho. Sheamus leaves through the ramp with his eyes locked on Orton. Suddenly, Cena comes from back and puts down Orton for the 5 knuckle shuffle when Taker enters and chokeslams Cena. As Taker turns, Orton lands the RKO. Orton leaves with his WWE Title and the screen fades to black.

WWE Draft Announcement:

Random picks will be drafted and transferred between RAW and SD. The draft will be announced online. Be tuned to know who will be drafted. This shuffle is surely going to create new feuds and change the current WWE landscape.

I will address Saturday Night Main Event before i give predictions.

-Big Zeke is running riot in your btb. I am thinking somebody like Orton or Cena will stop him.

-Barrett is being used well as well. Big win over Henry who you are pushing well also. Hopefully the defeat does not derail his push.

- lol at the "Two matches happen between FCW and NXT contestants."

- Good main event and you ar eputting a bit more detail in to the big matches which is good. At the start i liked the way you built feuds but was not sure about just a sentence for the match but as the BTT has developed you have done well with it so i am not complaining.

-Draft Picks should be interesting. Weird to see them at Armageddon time.

Predictions

WWE Title Elimination Chamber Match:

Randy Orton(c) vs Sheamus vs Christian vs The Undertaker vs Chris Jericho vs John Cena
- I think some cheating may be involved and Orton will ratain.

Grudge match:

Wade Barrett vs Shawn Michaels
- Barrett is getting a good push but HBK i think will have too much for him.

Monster vs Giant match:

Ezekiel Jackson
vs The Great Khali
- I expect Big Zeke to show his strength and keep the run going.

Steel Cage Match:

Alberto Del Rio vs Triple-H
-Could go either way. HHH just i think.

Tag Team Championships match:

Kane & Big Show(c) vs Chavo Guerrero & Rey Mysterio
- Should be a Kane/Show win i think.

US Championship match:

The Miz(c) vs John Morrison
-Miz to somehow get the victory and retain.

ARMAGGEDON RESULTS

US Champion The Miz vs John Morrison:

Miz looked in control of the match. He went for the Skull Crushing Finale but Morrison blocked it. When Morrison went for a flying kick from ring top, Miz got pushed over the referee who passed out. Morrison was looking towards the ramp and signalling for another referee, when Miz came from the back and gave him a DDT. He then proceeded to bring a steel chair in the ring, as he entered Morrison who was standing up, kicked into the steel chair in Miz’s hands which hit his head. Morrison went for the Starship Pain while the new referee came running down and pinned Miz to crown a new US Champion.

John Morrison def. The Miz(c) to become the new US Champion at 9:51

Ezekiel Jackson vs The Great Khali:

The beginning was hilarious when Dr. X stepped ahead and asked Khali to leave the ring within 10 seconds. Ranjin Singh asked Khali that if he agrees, then he should raise his hand. Khali raised his hand, the audience cheered, and Khali landed the head chop on Dr. X who was knocked unconscious. The match began with Jackson going on the offensive. Khali hit a head chop on Jackson and got a 2-count. Both of them traded blows and Jackson tried to run between the ropes and collided to put Khali down which he succeeded finally. Ranjin Singh got up on the apron, Jackson hit a big boot and Ranjin fell into the barricades. Khali who was back on his feet lifted Jackson for the Khali Bomb, but Jackson punched him to come out, and proceeded to chokeslam him to get the pinfall. Dr.X came back half-conscious and lifted Jackson’s hand while the audience was in shock.

Ezekiel Jackson def. The Great Khali via pinfall at 7:35

Wade Barrett vs Shawn Michaels:

Barrett and HBK proceeded to fight outside the ring. Barrett threw HBK into the steel steps. He put Michaels back into the ring, as he climbed into the ring, HBK out of nowhere hit the Sweet Chin Music and got a near 3-count. HBK went for another and Barrett blocked it and hit a clothesline. Barrett went for the Wasteland, but HBK countered it into a DDT. He went up the ringpost to deliver the Showstopper and jumped, but Barrett rolled away. HBK came up and Barrett went for the Big Boot but HBK moved away and Barrett landed on the ropes. Michaels pushed him towards the corner of the ring, Barrett just landed over the referee. Michaels came and tried to give Barrett a suplex but putting his arms around his waist, Barrett landed a low blow with a kick backwards. The referee’s view was blocked because Barrett was in front of him. Barrett went for the Wasteland and won the match.

Wade Barrett def. Shawn Michaels via pinfall at 12:32

Tag Titles match:

Rey and Chavo pulled off a huge upset as they won the tag titles against Kane and Big Show. As Show was out of the ring, Rey hit the 6-1-9 and West Coast Pop on Kane. Chavo was already on the top of corner of the ring, and jumped to hit the Frog Splash.

Mysterio and Chavo def. Kane and Big Show to win Tag Titles at 8:29

Steel Cage Match:

Del Rio tried to leave the cage many times but Triple-H stopped him. Kozlov came running down and entered the Steel Cage with the sledgehammer and went for HHH who ducked down, Del Rio instead got hit with the sledgehammer. HHH then hit the pedigree on Kozlov. HHH proceeded to leave the ring through the door, but suddenly stopped and came back. The whole audience was cheering. HHH lifted up Del Rio and hit the pedigree and got the pinfall. Finally, The Game had his long awaited revenge.

Triple-H def. Alberto Del Rio via pinfall at 13:39

ELIMINATION CHAMBER MATCH:

Jericho, Christian, Sheamus and Orton came down one by one and were locked up. The audience erupted when it became evident that Undertaker and Cena will start the proceedings.

Undertaker gained the momentum by hitting Cena into the steel platform and the structure. Cena made a comeback and hit the 5 knuckle shuffle. He hit the AA and took the cover. Taker kicked out in a 2.5-count.

Next Entrant: Sheamus

Sheamus came in and hit the Brogue Kick on Cena. He posed a bit with Cena and Taker both down. He lifted Taker and went for the Pale Justice, Taker came out and hit the chokeslam. Sheamus kicked out at 2-count. Taker proceeded to beat Cena and pushed him into the steel structure when Sheamus came from behind with the Brogue Kick. Sheamus hit the DDT over the steep platform on Cena and got a 2.5-count.

Next Entrant: Chris Jericho

Jericho entered and as Sheamus came towards him, Jericho gestured him to stop and team up to eliminate Cena and Taker. Both of them controlled the match. Taker finally hit the chokeslam on Sheamus on the steel platform. He took the cover but got a 2.5-count. The crowd was shocked that Sheamus kicked out. Jericho proceeded to hit the Codebreaker over Cena inside the ring but he came out and hit the AA. Cena pinned Jericho and as he turned back, Sheamus came with a clothesline. He gave a spinebuster to Cena on the steel platform.

Eliminated: Chris Jericho

Next Entrant: Christian

Sheamus beat up Christian for some time, and went for the Pale Justice but Christian came out. Christian hit the Killswitch. Sheamus still kicked out. Finally, Sheamus got the upper hand and hit the Brogue Kick. As he turned, Taker hit the Last Ride and pinned him. Christian came up and Taker hit a chokeslam and pinned Christian too.

Eliminated: Sheamus and Christian

The crowd erupted. John Cena came back to his senses outside the ring on the steel platform. Cena slowly came inside and he and Undertaker had a stand-off. The crowd was cheering in the background. Suddenly, the buzzer sounded. Both Cena and Taker looked to the right.

Final Entrant: Randy Orton

Orton came out to a huge pop. Cena proceeded to beat him, Orton ducked and hit Taker. Cena came back and hit Orton. Taker and Cena double-teamed on Orton as he was fresh. Taker proceeded to hit the chokeslam and Orton hit the RKO. Cena came running and Orton threw him towards the steel structure. Orton hit his Rope hung DDT on Cena on the steel platform and got 2-count. Taker and Orton fought in the ring for sometime. As Taker hit the chokeslam, Cena came out of nowhere to hit the AA on Taker but taker came out and stared at Cena unbelievably. Orton got up and RKO’d Taker. Cena hit Orton with a clothesline and to give the AA, Orton came out and tried the RKO, Cena put him down and locked the STF. Orton tried to reach the ropes but finally had to tap out. It became evident a new WWE champion will be crowned.

Eliminated: Randy Orton

Orton could not believe it, when the referee asked him to leave he moved towards the door. As Cena was getting up, Orton stopped and his eyes told what he was going to do. Orton punted Cena right in the middle of the ring. The audience was shocked. Taker who was taking the help of the ropes to get himself up did not see this. Orton left the ring while Taker realised something was wrong. He picked up Cena and hit the Last Ride for the win.

Eliminated: John Cena

WINNER: The Undertaker won at 41:49 via pinfall to become the new WWE champion.

JR – “Bah Gawd, I am speechless, The Phenom is the WWE Champion.”
Lawler – “JR, I cannot believe what just happened, Orton punted Cena, what a sore loser Orton is”

The medics rushed to the ring and John Cena was taken out on a stretcher.

The Undertaker posed with the title while the screen faded to black.

Armageddon Feedback

- The U.S title match was a great way to open the show and sounds like a good match. Morrison winning the title was good.

- Big Zeke seems unstoppable in your btb! I am glad this was early in the cards Zeke vs Khali as would not have been a great match wrestling wise but it sounds interesting and Zeke picked up another big win.

-Barrett cheating to beat HBK was a good way to keep Barretts run going while making it look like he was maybe going to get beat before he cheated.

- WOW! Mysterio and Chavo winning is a massive upset! Well done. I did not expect that at all.

- Finally HHH beat Del Rio! I like the way you made Hunter re-enter the cage as he was about to leave to hit the pedigree on Del Rio and get the win by pinfall. Good way to end an interesting feud.

- The Elimination chamber sounds great. Orton attacking Cena will likely lead to a rematch. Taker winning the title was great if unexpoected.

Great ppv JCIG

-What a way to follow up with a big draft! Really interesting draft and all good drafts butthe standouts are Orton and Triple H to SD and Zeke to Raw. Orton might be glad he is away from Cena ha! HHHJ just came out of a big Del Rio feud so fresh start will be good and Zeke is now on Raw to bulldoze the opposition!

First of all, I am happy my favorite Deadman is the WWE Champ

the PPV was awesome, I liked the HHH - Del Rio match ending, Also the faceoff between Cena and Taker and Orton just entering then, visualizing it is giving me goosebumps

the draft picks supplement the storylines going on, HHH needs to take a break from Del Rio and make a new impact on SD, Orton going to SD was a shocker though, but SD was lacking in star power now its balanced

Overall, a great PPV

WWE: A New Era Beckons

(Quarterly Summary)

The BTB has covered a span of 3 PPVs until now: them being Backlash, No Mercy and Armaggedon. The storyline will continue till Wrestlemania. The time period that the BTB corresponds to can be considered as 2011 since most of the current WWE roster is being used. However, no existing feuds and storylines in WWE in 2011 have been referred to or continued. The following text will provide a fair summary of what has transpired until now.

The Legacy:

Randy Orton of RAW was crowned the WWE Champion in the first show of the BTB , his motive however remained partially accomplished. Orton wanted that Legacy rule WWE but this couldn’t happen when Ted Dibiase of SD could not become World Champion. Legacy began to interfere in World Champion Edge’s matches, however at Backlash, Orton interfered and RKO’d CM Punk in his World Title match with Edge at Backlash thus colluding with Edge. Rated-R Legacy created havoc when Edge and Orton began to retain their titles mostly against CM Punk and John Cena respectively due to interferences by Dibiase and Rhodes.

Finally, the general managers Eric Bischoff of RAW and Theodore Long of SD confronted Legacy in the ring and decided to strip the titles and fire the interferers. Things went out of hand when Orton and Edge attacked the general managers and became so grave that Mr.Mcmahon had to make an appearance confronting Legacy. Mr. Mcmahon made a bombshell announcement that he has chosen a certain person to be Mr. Money-in-the-Bank and this time, not only the champions won’t know when MITB will be cashed in but also the identity of the person won’t be revealed. This announcement created ultimate chaos as trust and group dynamics were shattered and the members of Legacy departed their own ways. Randy Orton lost his WWE Title in an Elimination Chamber match at Armaggedon to The Undertaker, while Edge is still the World Champion.

The Undefeated and The Champions:

Ezekiel Jackson was introduced by his manager Dr. X as an unbeatable monster. Three months hence, the claim still stands. Jackson has taken out Batista, beat the giant Khali and squashed numerous others. Wade Barrett also has created waves with his performance till now. He is yet to be pinned and undefeated in singles matches. Mark Henry’s unbeaten run came to an end just a week ago but he still boasts to be the Intercontinental Champion. Drew McIntyre is also undefeated in singles matches but lost his US Championship in a triple threat match which is currently held by John Morrison. Chavo Guerrero’s belief in his team with Rey Mysterio paid off finally. Though they lost matches in the beginning, they finally won the Unified Tag Team Titles a Armaggedon from Kane and Big Show in a huge upset.

The Groups and The Feuds:

Santino Marella self-proclaimed himself as the master of all FCW rookies and WWE jobbers but things did not materialize. When he lost to Sheamus in less than one quarter of a minute and lost to his own disciple Viscera, he lost the respect of his protégés. His so-called Invasion of Smackdown was marred by bad timing as he interrupted Ezekiel Jackson and ended up being taken backstage on four shoulders. Alberto Del Rio recruited Vladimir Kozlov instead when Triple-H denied to become his bodyguard. Del Rio scored two victories (under dubious circumstances nonetheless), but The Game got the final laugh in a steel cage encounter at Armaggedon.

Mr. Kennedy was claimed by JBL to be his successor as the US Hero which did not fit well with Shawn Michaels. Kennedy beat HBK to earn the right of being called the US Hero when Swagger (who was upset JBL did not choose him) turned on Michaels. However, the announcement of the mysterious Mr. MITB coinciding with Kennedy’s World Title match with Edge didn’t bode well for Swagger who was asked to keep a distance since Kennedy did not trust him. Chris Jericho had a bit of a rough time as he was on losing ends of feuds with The Undertaker and Christian, also being eliminated first in the Elimination Chamber match at Armaggedon didn’t help. He will be looking to a new start as he moves to Smackdown.

The recent draft has led to 10 superstars changing their rosters and promises fresh feuds and more excitement. The road ahead is well set, undefeated streaks may end and champions may fall, newer legacies may be established, but one thing is for sure, the show will only become better.
